"I re signed him next season. We talked about the salary cap and how that might go up. Five million or the odds that the forty niners so they matt. I want to say. There's their rumored to have a history of low balling players. So i don't pin that on them but we all know what i'm trying to say here so are a will a player like variet- like witherspoon. Probably not sherman. But let's say k. One williams in the scenario would a player take a value deal to come back knowing that the cap is what it is knowing that you know one year deals might be the wave like you mentioned do you. Can you see either of those guys you know giving the team a sort of a friendly hometown. Discount to comeback. Think it depends on what stage of your career at right you're brat investment injuries Older trying to cash out. You're trying to find the biggest possible deal. Most guaranteed money. Bobby wherever it is and you just take in running because you're at that stage in your career. Where's your cal. Wilder spoon is your second contract. You're younger you could probably do evaluate new and you know the way he played at the end season he gonna be to be a starter. He plays well than he's going to be. Have more film film on record. And he's going to be more value going into next season. When the capsized so younger guys. I could see going for that value and trying to attack a bear market next year. Some of the older more or injury plagued the is. I can see them just trying to cash out now. And that's that's important especially the age if i am all four players getting as much money as they can I believe is on on us. He maybe you wrote for pfc. But i think he was. Yeah he was a. He was asian for a long time in the nfl so he he asked. Why did the shawn watson sign an extension earlier. This season when bill. O'brien was still texas coach. Who is gonna turn down that much. Guaranteed money why on earth would you not is a question. So in in this scenario if the bears would offer jason a thirty million guaranteed. Take the money police. Why would you not imagine going to your wife and saying hey babe. I decided to come back to san francisco on a one year eight million dollar deal because i really liked that. I really liked the organization. Oh what other you have. Oh nothing too much. I had a four year. Fifty two million from the bears. But i liked the barrier. So we're going to stay here. That's just not how human minds worked so i. I'm all for guys getting their money. All right nickel k. One williams was a popular question. So what do we do. This question is from dumbo at dumble underscore mate so great. At by the way what do we do if do it. Nickel of williams doesn't return tomorrow. Taylor played well very well this season. We continue to use him well. Who knows if tamara taylor would even be helped me by the time the next season starts. And based on kyle shannon's first of all he was leadership and they loved him after he got injured so they they really spoke highly. And not when i say they. I'm in the players. Spoke highly of taylor. But he's injured so in that hypothetical scenario. Hopefully that answered your question that i would say brian pool or just a maybe mackenzie alexander from the bengals. Bring a lower level guy. In to do a williams can do. You're probably not going to get the same type of production what you're not paying for that type of production so you can't be mad at that if you get anything near what he does. Great if not you're gonna have to have one of your other players step up is there. Is there any anything you want to add to that. Yeah i like the the brian cool. That you mentioned that slot corner would be a good fit mackenzie alexandra. Thieves got cleared of like battery charges. Today's at least for you to reassign wherever he wants. And if you go in the draft. I don't asante samuel junior that has been tossed around having watched much So full disclosure. But i've heard the name around so you could address your nickel corner position that way to To the way ways to backfill that need. I think williams gone. Richard sherman tweeted about it. I'm sure came on williams's told him already. If you back home he would like sherman ages shooting this out of his. You know what he's saying. Not unprompted had no no so good for kahlon. Hopefully he cashes out. You know he's been a halama blair for the forty niners especially for what they've paid These last few wars. And so it's gonna be tough to replace that production like you mentioned is the been one of the best slot corners league so yeah. I don't think markdale was coming back just given his injury. I do think it's gonna be someone else last one so gabrielle. No idea how to say your last name. But i'll give it a shot as oulet losing. Dj read this year was a blow to our future in the secondary so leaving at that read was excellent for the last half of the season He had won one game. I believe it was week fifteen whereas probably one of the better performances that i've seen from cornerback as far as effort goes Forty niners could've had him could have used him in the slot. This year could have probably even use them outside. If need be next year even more so but i don't even know if they ever would've given. Dj read a chance to play outside. But he's the seahawks cornerback. He's probably gonna start for them on the outside next year. A way to go. John lynch yet did it again.

Richard sherman kyle shannon Five million taylor John Fifty two million gabrielle Taylor tomorrow next year This year O'brien one game thirty million Bobby four year Today forty niners seahawks san francisco

"And continue to fight, and now they put themselves back in a position to and I was still a ways away from, you know, being in the mix for the playoffs, But as of right now, I mean, that's a realistic possibility. And it's just these guys I hate using the word resilient cause Everybody uses it. I think that's a perfect word to describe everything that's happened with this team, and now you're throwing a move on top of it. But all the injuries and everything else the fact that these guys have Have just kept battling. I think you've already said it, but you got to be extremely proud of what these guys have been able to accomplish. I'm immensely proud and you know, we have a lot of like minded people. It's the way we tried to build this thing. We've got a lot of guys care about each other and they care about the team and this year hasn't gone like we wanted to. From the start. There's been a lot of injuries. Started training camp with a lot of injuries, but they've never blinked. And we haven't always played our best. We've left opportunities out there. Um, you know, Well, I've stopped talking about when when we stopped getting injured and start getting guys back because that has stopped two more this week with Tamara Taylor and Webster. But we are getting a lot of really good players when you bring back a Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson, and now it's looking good for Tevin Coleman and you put Deebo and I just waited for the time when we get to put Deebo and I yuk out there together. Um, but players started to come back Richard Sherman. I mean, what a difference He makes it, but he can talk about he's getting old. There's something different When Sherman's out there, there's a presence. There's a championship pedigree. There's a mentality. It feels good as a teammate. Er, is that like a we got sherm on our side, and that makes a difference. So those things matter and we're getting a lot of guys like that back and You know this team is our bond is strong. And, you know, perhaps you know things like this, even galvanized that, So you know, although there's a lot of things going on that are separate. Everything's being done virtually in terms of meetings. Really the only time even know we're all In Arizona in the hotel. The only time we all see each other's out on the practice field, but it is a very tight team has got a lot of belief in themselves right now, Um, but we know we're facing a very good team in the Buffalo Bills. So we've we've gotta be on point come Monday night. And Tebow. Samuel. I saw the Southern number there. You guys were 15 and five when when he suits up and he's just he to me. Johnny gives this team and some of these athletes that you have on defense. Give this team just a swagger. That when you figure all the losses, I guess I wasn't planning on seeing. But man can Tevita street in this last game and kin lawn, Givens and Dairy and Daniel's in these young defensive linemen. Upfront and I'm defense in the way you guys were flying around them on defense. Greenlaw just throwing his body around despite the fact he was out with covert all week. I mean, this team's got a little swagger right now. Which would you agree? It does it. It's got a lot of belief, and I don't think we ever lost that. We you know, we we got punched in the mouth a few times early, and even despite injuries performed in a way that I didn't think This team because of all those qualities you're talking about. I thought I thought we were better than that. And now I think we're starting to get guys back, and I don't know It's just It seems to be quick and now we gotta show good teams. String wins together and you don't you don't go on losing streaks. And so I think if we could just continue to get better each day, that's that's one thing that Kyle preaches and does a great job of doing it. Um, you know that some of the names keep changing, but there's a lot of good football players. Out there on the field. And you know you're right. Debo Debo, so fun to watch, And it's a great illustration. You know, when we drafted him, I remember him saying my dad taught me. Every time I catch that ball, think about scorn, and you can actually see that with him. He's thinking about scoring every time he gets that ball, and it's it's fun to watch because, yes, he's immensely skilled. But her man would just talk about that. You know all the time when you mix will with skill. You got something special and that that's what that young man asked. Way we played the clip from Japan. Kindelan. I find it interesting is your bond basically said I wouldn't have supposed to be there. I wasn't really my responsibility. I was there in the bone it up in my hands. So ask Dante Whitner this and I want to ask you this is someone who's on the defensive side of the ball played it. Extremely well. What is it Okay to go off script a little bit, because obviously you could put your team and real jeopardy. If you go off script. It doesn't work out all that well, he basically said, if you study and you're in the film room all the time, and you understand when you could take a chance when you can't take a chance. That's one thing If you're just guess, and then that ain't gonna work out all that well, in the long run. I'm curious to get your view of it from being in a year behind everybody. You see that everybody is supposed to be doing and how they're supposed to be doing it. When is it? Okay? When is it acceptable to say? You know what? Because everybody wants to make plays. Everybody wants to do that. But sometimes if you try to make a play for your team in jeopardy, they take us through that process of I could jump this even though I'm not supposed to, or Hey, that's not my not my job. I'm not gonna do it. Yeah, Usually, you know, Tom, you know how that is. That's that's something that has to be earned. And it takes a lot of times. You know, Like Ronnie Lott is great. He was famous for supposed to be in the middle of the field. And next thing you know, he's in the flat picking up picking off a ball. I mean, you have to earn that right and you do it by doing your job over and over. Think Geron's was more, um Maura, byproduct of him coming off the coded list haven't practiced in today's He was He was tired, so he said, I'm gonna stand back and carry on. And, uh and I think that's really what it was. He was tired, and we talked to him about that. Because I think you know what you want extremely athletic..

"Lyman's dream. Isn't it? Pick you could make a 325 pounder on a pick six. I think every D lineman's dream is obviously to get into the end zone. Um, what made it to me, at least comical and and funny was that he was dropping into coverage when he should have been rushing And we've seen that a few times this year, and it's a pretty good tactic and it's worked out well for him. I might have seen him bat balls. I've seen him. Shuffle along the line of scrimmage and mirror the quarterback that I think he's heard Damico, Ryan's and Johnny Holland and the DB coach's coach, ODed and the other guys, DB say Daniel Bullock. See Read the eyes of the quarterback re the eyes of the quarterback. He got right into his little into his little drop, read the eyes of the quarterback Kevin Givens with a great rush. Just a really good rush from From inside, and that made it all happen. But I just love the way finished. I love the celebration down in front of the fan board. Jimmie Ward didn't get in there till late. He was bombed. Everybody left him. He got down there. If you go back and watch, it's hilarious. There's only one guy that didn't run to the big Board for celebration on the on the VID. That was Kevin Givens. He headed for the sideline. It was great because he was getting off the ground after laying out Jared Goff. So, ah, word about Jimmy Ward because I thought he played his best game of the year. Hell, maybe his career in New Orleans. But this game It all regards, you know, they kind of move. The safety's around a little bit is you noted before what's her various playing back there and Marcel in the box and Jimmy's taken on kind of a hybrid Rolande. With a nickel situation. He's going down in man matching guys and Buffalo's got a good little slot receiver and Cole Beasley. But was there is that the best game you've ever seen Jimmy Ward plane? Maybe it's two in a row for him now, 10. I think it is. I think it is. I mean, he definitely showed up in the New Orleans game and was everywhere and then had the dropped interception, which I know killed him. Could have been a difference maker. In that game. This one. It was I'm just unbelievable, eh? How they use them in the versatility and whether he's deep half deep middle as a safety or he's up covering a slot receiver. You talked about that or sticking to a tight end, which was The absolute key on the Richard Sherman interception in man coverage. It just it just so much so many different things you can do with him and on the big downs. I mean, I love the way solid kind of mixed it up in the second half. Once Tamara Taylor went down is they would use they play man coverage and then have Jimmy is the free guy underneath and let him double up Cooper Cup with With Emmanuel. Mostly the big forced fumble that he had on on Jared Goff was basic, basically man coverage and he ended up being the flush rusher, the free player in the middle of the field that if the quarterback back flushes you go get him. Exactly what he did. Everybody else was locked up and two big forced fumbles. Tight coverage everywhere, physical, just flipping guys. I mean, he showed up big time and I don't I don't think there's any doubt Pop. It's the best I've seen in terms of his game from top to bottom. In terms of the defense of line, which is obviously helping out carry hydro. We talked about it this week. He had two sacks. He's got 7.5 on the air. Is he actually playing too well because he might get priced out of the 40 Niners range. I don't think you'll get priced out of the 40 Niners range. I mean, I don't know. I'm not going to do the business. He's definitely playing while And business decisions will be business decisions. But think of his market before he got here. Is he gonna have a big payday? Yeah, but I think the 40 Niners will covered him more than other teams. The guy was bouncing around the league. Little bit. He's got a great relationship with Chris. Chris Eric. Um, you know, but business is business and and that's a good question. But Um, man, he's been good. He's just so versatile Johnny everything he can do. He's got great eyes. He's rarely on the ground. He makes big plays a crunch time. Some of them are just good plays other you know, in terms of physically good place, others they're just out works people. So he's always in the right spot, so I don't know. I'm five more games to go. We'll see what happens. All right, not of the offensive size and let's size it up a little against Buffalo's defense, which has been a little leaky against the run, but they're starting to really locket and playing well and they got they got good players at all three levels of their defense, But Raheem Mostert comes back huge impact. Jeff Wilson Jr. Huge impact. Debo Samuel, I think changed everything. And we didn't have branded Artyukhin the game temp. They haven't played together all that much. So what do you see? Now, without you back the guys we mentioned, maybe Kevin, I'm not sure if we'll be able to go in this game or not. But just size it up against the Buffalo Bills. All right, it's Trent Plan. Trent Williams or Karen Taylor Williams. He's playing. He's playing. He's playing eyes brawny, locked in there at center Daniel Brother, I hope so. I think the country is probably in there. Also, he's playing. I think McKibben will be out there and not a household name. And buffalo probably doesn't Doesn't care. Buffalo is relentless on defense. They get after it. They got a great scheme. There's no question Leslie Fraser's a terrific coordinator..

"With one thing that's gonna send Kyle Shanahan to the loony bin is turning the ball over because if they don't turn the ball over yesterday, I would dare say that they beat the Rams easily. Not that anything is ever easy in the NFL, But it was the turnovers that got the Rams back into the game. And also, the Rams made. You know an adjustment defensively because the Niners run game was Was kicking her teeth in in the first quarter in the first half. But the limitations for this team it's turning the ball over. It's just it's just simply turning the ball over and Nick Mullins God bless him. I mean, that dude is E No, He's not trying to throw an interception, but damn it when he throws the ball over the middle, you just your heart stops because you're like, I don't know if this thing hits the ground. It's an absolute miracle. If it's inexorably every ball beyond every party is like a 50 50 balls. Well, Rod. I mean, how much fun would that be? If they played the stake for your football? Anyone That explains easily. Come on. All right Out of those. Thank you. Thank you, sir. May I have another It's all part of it. You know, they made plenty of mistakes yesterday, but then they also forced plenty of mistakes on the other side, and they made up for it by You know that when that play where Jared Goff breaks the pocket, and he's scrambling, and and you knew exactly what was on Jimmy warts, mind it was not just tackle him. But making pay for it and stripped the football and you had to know that that's exactly what Jared Goff was thinking was all he's going to try to strip the football and he did strip the football in. You know the interception that That, um, that Sherman had that that just look like somebody who you know, was in the playbook and knew exactly what the Rams are doing. And then the great play that Kevin Givens made. I mean, that's that's every bit Know him scoring that touchdown as it was Jibran Kindelan. Might I add? Carry Haider kind of sealing the deal by blocking that that Officer Lyman and allowing him to get in so For every mistake they made. They came up with something better. There was there was a play. You know where I thought Call CNN and blew it like it is the third down, play third into and you know, sure, it's on Nick Molins, but Shanahan could have called the time out to save the delay game. So that you know that was a mistake the Shanahan made on the sideline, But then he comes through, you know, with one of the really good decisions of not only going for it on fourth down on that final drive, but Making the right play. Call one that probably not too many people expected to pick up that first down, so I mean for every mistake they made They came back with something better to end up compensating for it. And if you're expecting the 40 Niners these last five games to play mistake free football. It's not gonna happen, but he's the key. The key is Two for their guys. You know, some guys you've never heard of. And some guys you expect to make the big plays. The key is for them to just compensate. For the mistake's by making even better place coming back on the other side. Yeah. Any truth to the rumor that tramp all keys already called John Lynch enquiring about Tamara Taylor. Right? Well, he has plenty of guys on the pretty dire to choose from with all the injuries, so Yes. Um yeah, we'll see how that one goes, but I mean, with a with a jug Jags make him there. There's a little man to man choice. Yeah, I don't know. No, no, no, they are You Let me let me ask you about the Kinloch place. You mentioned the youth check play on the fourth down. I'm not a big fan of trying to fool people with the fullback. I I just I'm not. It worked. It worked by The slimmest of margins, But I have 4 30. Happy yard. I want the quarterback Sneak. Mullins isn't great at it. I'd give it to my running back. It works. I was cool with it. But every time I see a fullback, miss on 1/4 and a half year we try to fake somebody out is like, what are you doing? You doing trying to fake somebody else? But it worked. So you know what? Whatever. Let me we had a weird sound by Kim Lot talking about the pick six where he said he was supposed to rush, but he didn't. He just kind of felt like, you know, he saw something so drop back and kind of did it did his own thing, And I'm wondering. I wanted to get your thoughts on that because I think on one hand It's really cool when you have a guy who is supposed to do something, But instinctually can kind of see something and says Okay, I know I'm supposed to do this, but I This That's not going to get many words. So let me just do this. I think they can get you a lot of places. But you better be right. Because if you're not in football when you find yourself doing things you're not supposed to do. The whole chain breaks down. How do you see that? Do you see that as a good thing that Hey, He's a really good football player and he's instinctual. Or do you look at and say, Well, maybe he's a little undisciplined. And that may lead to a few plays here and there, but overall, it's not going to lead to. Ah, uh, Tim benefiting the team, or I don't think I don't really think it's either of those things matter to be honest with you. I think it's one plant after Seymour, but I was curious when he said that what you thought of that Well, here's in. I will have a better answer for you later in the week because I don't know how how he's coached. I'm assuming we don't know the whole story on that now. Typically when a guy Typically, when a guy does something off script, it's It's kind of a selfish play in the in the sense that, um, I wasn't supposed to blitz but I did anyway. You know one of those things where I want to make it. Where I can. I can kind of see the glory out now what? What? I'm curious, and I don't know the answer this and that's why I sailed off. Ls this question later in the week? Robert Salas. Is that something that he's coached to do? Hey, if you see this, go ahead and peel off. You know you're here is your responsibility, But I'm giving you guys You know the power if you if you pick up on something Then you have, you know, Was it film study? You know? Did he see something that that you know? Was he coached up properly? And did he do a freelance that was within the defensive scheme. In other words? Was he doing something that left them vulnerable? Or was he doing something that took advantage of? You know his time in the playbook? So if the answer is B Then it's an incredible play by a rookie who you know when he showed up was about on the rocks and oyster, and now he's you know, he's really making strides if it's if it's the other if he was just like dead tired, which I don't think.

"That's when you've gotta win. Because if golf can reset his feet and pat that ball, you're asking for trouble. That usually means success and the big challenges tackle on, you know, number 10 in number number 17 and the In the yak yards. Those guys air unbelievably good. A little Tim. Let's go to the back. End is we talked about the front end. Obviously. No. Okay. Juan Williams. So you're talking about Jamaar Taylor, potentially against a guy like Cooper Cup in last week. Those guys woods in couple really great. And then you mention the return of Richard Sherman. What he expected him. Well, I know, I know. Kyle has talked this week about managing reps. I think one thing that helps. Sherm was getting some some reps and preview of the Saints game and being out there practicing kind of testing the waters a little bit. Um So how many's played 78 players this year? I think that's it. He's got four tackles. It was one game. He got hurt at the end of the game against Arizona, and he hasn't been on the field sense. I would expect rich to be rich out in the field, you know, reading routes and concepts. They're going to try to formation him and get him into a one on one opportunity and see if he can run and I think there's going to be opportunities in this game. Where you I think you have to Larry get get your best defensive backs on the field that will include Richard Sherman, but it will also include Emanuel, mostly with Tamara Taylor on the field, So I think there's a lot of opportunity, especially we going to three wides with Gerald Everett, who's really come on now in the last five games at at the tight end position. They'll treat him as much like a wide receiver. Certainly more like a wide receiver. I think than a tight end think there's gonna be a lot of opportunities that you're going to see dime coverage on the field today, get more speed. It makes sense if it's a quick game and the ball's coming out in the second half of two seconds. Get all the speed you can on the field and that that will mean having six defensive backs out there. You know, Tim Dennis, both You guys played this game and know what what an NFL body associate the defense line of physical position like that. Feels like and week 12. I want to ask you guys about the rest versus rust deal because the Niners coming off the buy, and, you know, you know the way it is. I mean, you go away for two or three days and John Lynch talked about this. It's like you're like a fish out of water, and you needed some practice reps and field time. They didn't get that this week. They got one practice on Wednesdays, Kyle said, was a really good practice on Thursday got turned into a walk through. I'm just kind of wondering. Do you think you know? Rest versus rust? How sharp will the Niners be coming off the buy? And how sharp will they be coming off the buy? With a limited week of practice? I'll start with the same answer. I gave you at the beginning of the interview. Who knows? I mean, really, Because this is this is unchartered territory. Not only were they not allowed in the building Not a lot of Jim's open around Santa Clara County that they could get in and work out. Um so I've had it both ways. I mean, you know, there's a lot of times when you're humming. You want to keep humming? This team was not humming on on both sides of the ball. Now, defensively, they had a great game at New Orleans. And I hope Qian, long with the rest can kind of recapture what he had. That was his best game without question. But I think there's enough leadership on this team. I think they're really well coached. And the challenge of doing it virtually is has certainly been a challenge for everybody, and they did it all off season long. Um I think so. And that's just my opinion. And I think this is the best job solids done. When you look at the horses, he's had to run without there in terms of the players and one thing, Robert Solly is which I think you know. Mike Holmgren. Maybe one of my favorite coaches of all time. Why was Mike a great coach Mike was a great teacher. Like Robert Salas, a great teacher, whether it's virtual or whether it's on the field. I think his ability to communicate and then most importantly, you know, communicate and adjust in game, which is the biggest challenge of any coordinator. I think he's on top of his game and I will say this out at the walk through yesterday, and they go for about an hour out there and.

"The Jaguars have moved in front of the Chargers. Let's go out to L A and get more from Chuck Hayes. 8 50 remaining in the third period, and it's the Jaguars 21, the Chargers 16 and what happened was the Chargers were on the receiving end of the second half kickoff. Justin Herbert cannot rally. The Chargers. They were three in out, and then their punter had kicked blocked by Daddy Autonomous, the rookie safety from Auburn. It was a scoop and score 60 yard return. Josh Lambo for the extra point that gave the Jags 21 16 lead early on in the period. The right the end of the first half was Gardner mentioned to James Robinson and nine yard touchdown pass. And then two point play was incomplete. But the key to this football game rich is that Michael vaginally on the last serious, just missed a 48 yard field goal left it wide left. He missed that field goal mixed Mr Extra point earlier in the game. Ah, special teams scooping score gives the Jaguars and 11 point turnaround. Special teams and rich, never rookie quarterback like Justin Herbert, you need great defense. Great special teams and a good run game. And right now the Jaguars Momenta wise have really put in effect on the lot as those Chargers So with a 21 remaining in the third period, it is a Jaguar 21. As a charge. You're 16 Thank you very much. Chuck. And ah, another big play for the 40 Niners. Let's go out to Alan Siegel in Foxboro for more. Yeah, that big play was Mark Taylor and deception. And, frankly, the big play was gift wrapped by Cam Newton, as actually has had a better second half than he did in the first half. But he was way off on the throat of Julian Element. It went off his hands right into the hands of Tamara Taylor. The Patriots who were moving and just turned it over to the 40 Niners. And right now it is, you know, you mentioned a little while ago Rich about Bill Belichick. We're having Jimmy Garoppolo for three plus years, Tom Brady's backup. And he's got to be human and thinking as he's watching Jimmy Garoppolo car, But this team, so the total of 17 22 to 45 a little while ago in the last drive that ended up with another touchdown for Jeff Wilson. It was a 2nd and 10 of his own 48 yard line, and he went down the life right sideline of Brandon, Are you for 35 to set up first and goal for Wilson? That was the third touchdown. I mentioned Wilson right now has 117 yards in the game, and I don't think he's gonna be back because on that touchdown He sprained an ankle or looked like an angle and linked to the sideline. And when you're leading 32 6, why waste you know why I put him in and just be cautious. So it is all 40 Niner said this 30 to 60 40 Niners lead it. For 47 ago. We were in the third quarter, which all right, The Denver defense keeps putting the pressure on Drew lock and let's check in with you. I keep. I keep blacking on your first name. Bruce. I don't know why we know each other over 30. Bruce Morton in Denver. Okay, Rich. Thanks so much. We've got 70 Wait left to go. In the third quarter. Kansas City is comfortably in front 27 to 9. Super Bowl champs have a pick six from Daniel Sorensen. 50 Yards are 102 Yard kickoff return from Byron Pringle and from the offense at 11 Yard run by Clyde Edwards, Hilaire. Then moments ago after a comically botched attempt at a flea flicker with Melvin Gordon laddering the ball over the head of quarterback drew lock Casey took over on the Broncos 14 that led to a 31 yard field goal by Harrison Butter. His second on the day as if that botched BLEEP liquor wasn't bad enough. Moments ago, the Broncos were penalized for too many men on the field. They're fortunate that this is not hockey. Otherwise they'll be playing 10 and 11 for two minutes. And finally we had mentioned Bronco running back Phil Lindsay, who has sparkle today for Denver. Nine carries 79 yards. He went off the field just before halftime into the tent that into the locker room. He has a concussion. He will not return. The last thing the Broncos need. Denver Looking at third and five from the Kansas City 45. 6 minutes to go. Third quarter Kansas City lading 27 to 9. Alright, thanks, Bruce. And let's head out to Las Vegas, where the Raiders have the ball and down by just seven is the fourth quarter begins. Here's Erin Koester. Yeah. The Raiders got back in this game. They trail by just just seven as the third quarter just came to an end. And they just crossed in Teo Tampa Bay territory. I do want to go back. The last time I was on here doing the upstate I mentioned A lot of pushing and shoving and tempers were flaring between the Raiders and the bucket years as it turned out, offensive guard off linemen right guard Dave Jackson. It's something we're still not quite sure, because the replace never showed exactly what he did, but it's something the rest ical look when under the hood and sound that something possibly punch And he got ejected. This game that comes after Raiders offensive tackle seem Young also went down with a knee injury. So this offensive line group for the Raiders, which all already had issues with Kobe and everything else earlier this week, Getting thinner and thinner, but that hasn't stopped the Raiders as they come out. They march downfield Big plate just now. A handoff. Henry Rook goes for 11 yards in Tampa Bay territory there down to the 25 yard line here at the beginning of the fourth quarter, just down by seven. Buccaneers lead 24 17. All right. So the closest game so far ah, or the most intriguing and close because you have a five point spread right now in L. A. But the Buccaneers, who have pretty much led through out here, But the Raiders have not back down and again have the ball Jodie down by seven of the 26 Yard line of Tampa Bay. And it sounds like the Chargers. Ah, taking game is having issues badly missed a makeable field goal and a P A. T. I know you and I were doing a show together at the time and a lot of times they would be playing in the late window when I would hop on with you. Going back in 2007. When San Diego and all those picker problems Dad Young, whole cool and Nik grows and Nick Novak trying to fill in from they lost a whole bunch of games because Pil goal kickers couldn't make makeable kicks late in game now bad, but he had the job for year plots, and he's bitten pretty good for him, but he did miss a big kick for him a couple of weeks back. Having a bad day today. I hate when that happens, two teams and I don't want to get come down hard on the kicker Does. Kickers are football players, too? But it's one of the tougher job because when you make the kick, you're just supposed to make everything.

Chargers Raiders Denver Broncos Justin Herbert Bruce Morton Jaguars Kansas City Chuck Hayes. Josh Lambo Jeff Wilson Jimmy Garoppolo Bill Belichick Tamara Taylor Tampa Bay Auburn Cam Newton Alan Siegel Patriots Julian Element

"The one guy that did leave off was daring daniels the nose tackle that they invested actually the most of any undrafted free agent but I think Thomas with how he looked in practice made him expendable and by that. So He Thomas by three tech Kinloch actually slid inside and Kinloch by knows anyway. So there's no reason. For Daniels to be on the team. So that's ten defensive Lineman I have who have. Like you copied off me. He's not have the exact same ten guys. You talked about breakout players and what the national media has been talking about Jerick McKinnon. They probably just haven't been as in tune at some of the local guys that cover the team right so I would say contain a street and Kevin Givens are two guys that are candidates to be breakout players this season I think the hype train on that on both of them has been a particularly good inside Interior rushers. Kevin Givens especially last year when Dan Brown skill took, it played his first game as right guard against the rams Kevin. Givens was the scout team Aaron. Donald. And he said that givens gave him a ton of trouble. Was Great Preparation as Playing like Aaron, Donald Obviously not entered Donald, but and so. Yeah Yeah please I don't want to see Kevin given his Aaron Donald on twitter like tomorrow. So but like you said, he's put on weight and I expect him to be part of the rotation. So I I had the same ten guys Ronald Blair was the only if he won I was like, okay. Do they put him on I r you might miss a few weeks. I'm not sure if he's going to be ready week one but I think you keep him on the Active fifty three man roster so that when he does come back a couple of weeks that he's ready to go. Yeah I think he's closed. I, don't I don't think he's there yet but I think close enough where he doesn't look like any six it looks like closer to two to three, which is what you don't. You're not gonNA play him on the just because he's he's too valuable to the tame. Let me ask you this better season street. Let's just rank these three street. Givens. Well based on previous answer go St Givens Thomas I think I think street's GonNa Flash I think he's GONNA produce more than SOM- Thomas is. I even think Kevin Given GonNa play more than. I'm just completely sold on. Sean, Sally's return this year, but that's just me. No that's fair. So I go thomas just because if I said anything else that would be just backtracking. No, I'll go thomas I will go street because he he just looks like he can move you can tell ladder. was still not comfortable moving off the injury and this you just looked like a guy that he's not thinking about his injury anymore cycle jerry. Yeah it it it makes the difference. There's no doubt about it and then go given. But I would love to see you know get an opportunity in scientists because he probably has highs upside as three tag out of any of those guys. So, linebacker I had five and I imagine you too. So the first four pretty set in stone for one or quantum exander triggering laws. These I'll Shahir. The last one is probably GONNA come down between Mark Mazzotta and Joe Walker who you have. Markelle and so I again went back and forth fifteen of them. One thing that stood out to me during solace press conference is how the negotiate between a special teams defense. He said that if Richard Hightower, the special teams coordinator came to him and it was like I got to have this guy. So, you know have put him on the three. Solid would be like okay. Let's go ahead and do that just give them Zata was on the team master big special teams contributor I imagine that he gets the nod over Joe. Walker and that's a good point about hightower Natasha because he has gone to bat for him. So walkers great athlete he has started Arizona he can run but hightower like he's one of his favorites. Like. Sasha's one of his favorites. So I think that for managers go with the experience here, and as I should also rotated in before Walker did. So I don't really new spend much time on him that he's not going to play. He's going to be a special teamer and I imagine he makes the roster. So cornerback, I have five I don't think that this is very questionable either Richard. Richard Sherman will make the team believe it or not. Richard Airmen Moseley K. One Williams who did return to practice on Monday which is good. News Killer Witherspoon who we talked about a little bit earlier and Jason Brett who I have over Tamara. Taylor I think between those two tellers expendable with Williams. Because he's more of an inside guy and I think just read has a higher ceiling. He's will play much if any at all this year I don't know but I do think that he just gives you a better cover cornerback and that's what you want and. Know that special teams does matter if Taylor does make it over read, it will just be because his d'oro durability and ability to plan special teams. But again, special team I'd Arizona's going to throw out you know ten personnel at you. It would be nice to have an option like variety on the bench. So that's why I went with Brett who who you have. Again, same five Taylor. was kind of the last two that I debated as well. I just with Kahlon Williams coming back to practice this week i. just think that you don't need Taylor any longer I think you know if Williams, get hurt again or whatever in a pinch you could have Moseley or read slide inside This is similar to the pass catchers. You're just go with your five best quarterbacks which happened to be Sherman Moseley, Witherspoon Williams. And Taylor. Is just outside that. So don't think he makes it and I don't even think you could stash on the practice squad and I think so I think they just cut him. Yeah until there was available what in July or August not tim you're knocking down his door to climb him anyway whereas. Just. With reds history in the league and him making it through a training camp at some team would be more willing to put in a claim or try to snatch him up if you try to sneak him on the practice squad. So safety's four I have tart ward various more and it comes down to either Jonathan Ciprian or Marcel. So who did you go? Okay. So we've talked about this a bunch, but it honestly just comes down to okay if I wave this player, am I going to be able to get them back to put them on the practice squad? And so based on that I said Okay I'm gonNA take marshawn hairs. So Marcel..

Kevin Givens Richard Airmen Moseley K. One He Thomas Aaron Donald Joe Walker Taylor Thomas Richard Hightower Arizona daniels Jason Brett SOM- Thomas Jerick McKinnon Richard Sherman Kinloch Sherman Moseley Ronald Blair Jonathan Ciprian marshawn hairs Marcel

"There's some talk that may be only 75 to 80 players will show up a training camp because they want a lesson that impact but that still 75 players Aton of coaching staff you've got Referees who knows who has a preexisting conditions would start talking about older coaches and referees and forget about at risk players that we might not even know about some conditions there that some players might be worried about. So you have to factor in all that and everything that goes involved with the franchise and how close quarters the players are on the field. And you can't take that stuff once games start, even if they don't do 11 on 11 in training camp, which, by the way might make for some ugly football to start the season. If it does get going in September, so there's a number of things that are really worrisome with this, and you just hope they could learn from the other leagues and get some of that figured out it and players can feel a little bit more comfortable and we can see those numbers around the country dip. With everybody, let alone a athletes before this thing gets going in September, so we still do have a little bit of time to figure this out for the NFL so weird like they were talking to Brian Peacock locked on 40 Niner podcast. Every every time we get an inch further with one sport, it seems like another one's gonna come back. Now we got to start Have the discussion about NFL on all the topics are the same. So the transition from you know are we going to play to talking about the team itself was always a weird one. But the 40 Niners brought in another D B Jamaar Taylor from Seattle. Now pro football focus is pretty heavy on our or not kind, I guess to his rankings from last year May 39 20 blown coverages eyes, saying he was targeted 33 times given 20 receptions. What can you tell us about Tamara Taylor in this fit? Yeah, more. Taylor's been around in played quite a bit of football. I think he's a better overall football player than T stable or who they cut to make room for him, and I think it's pretty clear that they're worried about the injury to deejay read his pectoral muscle. He's going to miss camp for sure he could miss even the entire 2020 seasons. So I think they want a player who's a veteran like Mark Taylor, who could play a role on special teams who can be a gunner who can Play behind King Juan Williams and do some slide duties. He's played a lot outside the NFL NFL and you know his his Pff grades in his overall performance haven't been great, but that's the reason he's still on the street and even available, But I think it's insurance for D. J. Reed is insurance for some of the other players on the roster, just a little bit more competition to make sure they have themselves covered special teams. Which can't be forgotten in all this outside core and slot corner, he could do all those things. How about preseason games because there are already knocked two of them out. I mean, my general thought is, If you don't have to do something during this pandemic, don't do it. I don't need preseason games. I don't think teams need preseason games. I understand that they've been away for a long time. But in watching training camps for years, they make the decisions in camp more than they do in the game's a guy make Mike Flash and we get all excited about it. And then he's on the waiver wire the next day, So to me in fans aren't really into preseason games anyway. Would it really hurt your feelings if he didn't see any preseason? No, I would have no problem at all, especially if the end result is that the regular season happens in plays on time, So they have to be smart about all of it. You're not going to see any scrimmages used to see some, you know. Broncos versus 40 Niners scrimmages even before the preseason So none of that stuff is gonna happen. There might not be 11 on 11 and it might make first sloppier football in the season starts, so we'll see what teams can get get things together just by practicing. But I mean, it's not travelling those extra few weeks. It's not playing those games helps us actually have real NFL football throughout the fall. I think it's not a problem at all. And look those those preseason games aren't all that much fun to watch anyway, and it's fun to see the fourth quarter and see somebody That might make the practice squad you know, for someone like us that might geek out on football. That's fine. But for the most part if they did not play a single exhibition game, I don't think anybody would miss it. Once football actually started in September. Thie Patrick Mahomes deal was signed the other day, and we I think, like most sports fans, you look at news like that. You say. Well, how does this affect me? Like what? What is the relation to my team that Patrick moved? Just sign. This deal was only two years ago. Jimmy G. Signed at 1 37.5 $1,000,000 contract is not a bargain now for the Niners, are we looking at this and the Instruction of the team, saying what a deal for the 40 Niners Oh, yeah. Jimmy Garoppolo. If that's that's a great contract right now for the 40 Niners to have a quarterback who's no paid appropriately. I think there was a list recently that did not have Jimmy Garoppolo in the top 10 quarterbacks in the NFL, but not the top 10 highest paid quarterbacks in the NFL anymore, And I think after this season if we see another jump in grapplers play, which I do expect he will be considered widely one of those top 10 quarterbacks. In the NFL. Unity is at the bottom of that top 10 which is a great asset to have for a quarterback that you don't have to pay 30 plus $40 million per year. And, Yeah, That deal, even for Patrick Mahomes as crazy as it sounds 1/2 $1,000,000,000 over 12 years. He's actually somewhat of a team friendly deal, and I think there's about a 0% chance maybe a 1% chance that patch Mahomes actually plays. Through the 12 years of that contract because there's 2026 2027 season, I think is on opportunity for the team to get out of it and have only paid Seven years, $240 million which only puts him home at about $30 million per year. When you count these extra two years here before the 10 year extension kicks in, which is a smoking deal, so it's crazy that A contract that is Half a $1,000,000,000 on paper is actually a fairly team friendly deal. For the Kansas City Chiefs to sign a superstar like Patrick Mahomes and I have a feeling they're going to scrap that deal at some point, redo something with Mahomes long before 2031 when that set to end well, and you know the mentioning Garoppolo. It's It sounds crazy, but his cap number next year's 26 then it goes to 27 in the last year. The deal is 27 for quarterback nowadays It's not going to cripple your team and they've done such a good job in Prague has done such a good job. They front loaded this contract when they had money, and then it went down. As it went on. They gave him a ton of money that first year. And then the thing kind of goes down a little bit in 27 is is absolutely fair. And I agree with you. I think he's gonna be better this year. Another year in the offense. Hopefully, Debo can get healthy and you bring in eye you can you get better? You signed Kittle, etcetera. Moster desire is settled in now. I think that you know, I think Trent Williams as much as I like. Joe Staley has lost £50 Good for him. Trent Williams is great at left tackle. I think he's going to be better and it doesn't hamstring. Your team. You know, that's that's that's the thing that really kills these teams. We've talked about it earlier on the show, but You know you give patch homes, the money..

"Well back before the break. We were wrapping up talking about locking key and now we're going to go ahead and talk about another horror comic October faction both of these shows were originally horror comics and are now netflix shows. I think they have a lot in common but there are enough significant differences to make them really interesting in their own right now. I know that rotten tomatoes only gave October faction a twenty percent rating on the tomato meter. I don't generally agree with rotten tomatoes anyway. So that's neither here nor there for me if you do typically agree with them then maybe this might not be for you but for me. I like to watch things myself and make up my mind so this show on. Netflix was originally a horror. Comic made by Steve Niles and Damian worm it was called the October faction and it's super stylized in his gothic kind of and it has a ton of magic and monsters. They had to change a lot of it for netflix adaptation. So just like locking key. There are certain things that you can get across on screen very well with a TV budget that you know you. You can get in a very different manner in comic books. So when Damian candler who again did sanctuary went ahead and developed for TV now you had to make a few differences so they can JC. Mackenzie and Tamara Taylor. As the parents monster hunters red and Delors Alan and Aurora Burkhardt and Gabriel. Dark coup as the seventeen year old twins. They've and Jeff so the comics have the same core family although they're name is spelled a little bit differently. Sometimes that happens on shows like win stargate went. From being a movie and Jack O'Neill's name had one L. to Jack O'Neill having to els in Stargate S G one. Sometimes they just make that decision so they made that in this situation and they also kind of worked up the revelation that Jeff invasive were adopted after Fred and divorce killed their parents who were a pair of warlocks. So that's a little bit hard core in the the story but it is exactly the same in the comics from there though the TV show builds its own story about them being these kind of globe-trotting family members who their parents get stationed at different places all around the world. Japan is where they were supposed to be at that point and the kids were supposed to be starting their final year of school there and then the parents got transferred to the small town so they are in this tiny. Home town of Barrington on Hudson and certain characters are missing from the comics and others have been changed and we also have some new characters added so there are a lot of significant differences in the TV show versus the Comex for October faction. Whereas I think a lot more was kept intact for locking key but overall they're both pretty cool October faction on net flicks is not as dark as the comics. The comics are very heavily horror and Gore and the Allens are almost like the addams family and that way they are proud Weirdos and they don't care about fitting into the normal world however with the TV show you know this is something that doesn't bother votive that she doesn't fit in but the parents are like he needs to work on social skills. You need to try. So that's a big difference for them whereas the Sun Jeff is just totally totally comfortable in his own skin and then just being who he is all the time now the casting for the show is also more diverse comics. The allens are a mixed race family. And y'all know I am here for diversity so I'm very excited to see that change with the comics. The MOM and the complex was originally white. I believe and I like that. They have cast Tamara Taylor as Dolores. She is just be in her own right. I Love Tomorrow Taylor and everything I've spoken to you guys about that previously and it really brings some really interesting elements and sets us up for a really cool twist to that. You would not normally expect from this type of show so I really enjoyed that aspect too. They have a bunch of different characters in here. Not just the family who have had some differences made to them regarding skin tone in the comex fill is a Pale red head and he is played by Ronnie Killa in the show. And he's an Indian Canadian actor. You've probably seen him in a lot of other. Tv shows as well. I was stoked to see his face. So beyond those differences there are more big changes from page to screen in the comics. The company that they work for in the TV show. Presidio does not even exist. So that's kind of really big by kind of I mean that's major a huge difference the TV show has the presidio foundation which is like this global organization that is out to hunt down and get rid of people who are supernatural. They don't consider them people though. I suppose we call the monsters but in the comics. Presidio doesn't exist the Allens are instead independent monster hunters kind of like a whole family. But you know like supernatural so supernatural. It's the family business but this would be a mom a dad and the kids being like a family run supernatural detective agency and then presidio really expands the scope of the show beyond just that the Allen family and their town and. I think that that helps a lot. And it sets up a force for them to rebel against. I love it when when characters really find out that they are the bad guy like they've firmly believed in their mission and everything up to this point and then they realized that they're the bad guy. A Lotta Times I think in real life people don't recognize when they're the bad guy and so it's just very heartening for me to see it on screen and also I just loved that shock and how it sets you up for some good solid character growth as well. It's a big turning point in these characters lives so I thought that was pretty cool. Being part of the presidio also means that the TV versions gets US. More high tech weaponry whereas in the comics they were more likely to use a mix of guns and magic and axes and stuff so closer to supernatural but also with more magic they also have several monster friends in the comics in the TV show. They don't really have any but in the comics abound so the audience and the Allens have been brought around to the idea by the end of the season October faction that not all monsters are bad and then often humans are the worst of all humans are the real monsters and I like that concept a lot in the TV show in general. They are saying that you can really view this. Tv show is a Prequel to the comics because in the comics established very early on that the dad has a friend who's aware wolf and has to stay a wolf because his human form has cancer. So I like that aspect of the comic. I think that's very interesting. And it gives us more of a deadpool type feeling in that regard. It gives us something. That's really complex. And I enjoy that. Twist to it and Allen's also have a lot of strange allies in the comics the further along you get the the more vampires and werewolves and goals and stuff that you experience. There are so many of them sometimes. The kids date them as well and I love that they are on. Kinda friendliest terms with certain people in the TV. Show that we don't quite know. Are you know? Vampires and stuff yet necessarily or we don't know where love interest yet but it's really cool to see the TV show starting before that point and hopefully ultimately catching up to two comex regarding them. Having a lot of different friends there are also a lot of new family members. So Samuel and Maggie Allan or really new family members and they also have a back story for Fred about his brother's death. I really enjoyed that as well. And they also use that to craft a back story for another character. It's really super cool. How they piggyback off of each other and Damian candler has always been really great at truly exploring these types of story elements in depth. So he's really great at piggybacking off of each other and intertwining them until they are just beautifully spiderweb so I really enjoy seeing it. Come up in this show so I'm not going to ruin the ending of it for you. It's really great. You should definitely watch the show. Definitely give you guys. Some spoilers today has been out for a little bit and in the Comex. Dante just looks a lot different so he has A. He's like a Cyborg in the TV show but in the comics most of his body is robotic is mostly robotic parts at least most of his face so he just has one robotic. I in the TV show. That makes it a little bit easier. I think to get it across. We're going to go another break and when we come back. We're going to talk about the biggest difference from the car. "Retuning. GSM suicides podcast brought to you by the GMC podcast network. I'm your host Alex. Last week was Richard Dean Anderson's seventieth birthday. I don't know about you guys but huge stargate fan so it might as well be another holiday for me Happy Birthday Richard Dean Anderson also we had star Trek Picard Picard. Come out. I won't be talking about that just yet though. I'M GONNA give folks some time to get to watching it and when we do get around to talking about it in a future chur episode. I will make sure I give you guys a warning first so that you can skip ahead ten seconds or so ten minutes really to get to the next segment so right now today. We're going to be talking about October. Faction Sanctuary Amanda tapping some composers and the groundhog day trope. Now those might seem like they don't have anything in common but I assure you they do folks Who have worked on Stargate have worked on all of those so in celebration of Richard's birthday? We're going to be going over some of those things we're GONNA start with October faction I'm going to not give you guys any spoilers. We'll just be talking about the different things that are going going on kind of with the characters from a high level aspect so we're not going to delve into the plot or anything like that so I don't spoil anything for you guys. His October faction is a show that has recently aired on net flicks and it's directed by Damien killer. I was watching the other night and as soon as I saw Damian's name I got very excited. I wasn't sure how I felt about the show. I because you know you're only only one episode in and you have to give it several episodes figure that out but I saw Damian's name I'm like. Oh yes this is going to go in an excellent direction. And that is because he he has also been involved with stargate. And with Sanctuary Damian has made a lot of really awesome Sifi. Hi Fi over the years so I'm excited to see what he does with this. We also have some awesome actors on the show. So so J C Mackenzie. You might remember him as Dr Spivak from hemlock grove if you watched him what grove that one was funke Johnson and Bill Skarsgard and they had all of the the vampire stuff for they called the fears for that series and it was very entrenched with. It's like the oral Bros symbolically and all that jazz. It was interesting I would give it a shot if you're into monster stuff it's more about vampires hires in and where wolves for the most part. But there's also some scientific experimentation in that one to Tamara. Taylor is also in October October faction. I loved her as Dr Camille Savoy in on bones. I know bones isn't Sifi but I majored in biological anthropology. So so we used to watch bones and Grad school and you know make a game out of it whenever they got something wrong. It was a lot of fun for us because we really like the character interactions. So if you like character driven shows than bones could also be for you. Camille Royan was Tamara. Taylor Taylor's character in the show. She's a very smart woman of color. I loved it. She was a boss in that show and tomorrow is pretty much a boss in everything. She's in she also plays Prescott in altered carbon. She did the voice of wonder woman for Justice League gods and monsters so she he has done quite a few things in regards to being a BA woman she was a teacher and serenity too. So whenever rivers having those flashbacks to having you know being taught at the beginning and you know she's seeing these flashes of reversing awesome stuff to the teacher. That's teaching them. Is Dr Sarah Ryan Aka Tomorrow Taylor that is her actual name. I just really really loved her and was with her for so long when watching bones that Sarai in his the character. I most identify her with but Tamara. Taylor is a fantastic actress. And in this show she and J C Mackenzie play a husband and wife team who hunt monsters now. The Monster. Hunting isn't really the primary focus of the show. There's a lot of that going on but very similar to Santa Clarita Diet. It's also focusing focusing on the family relationships although in Santa Clarita Diet it's very close knit loving family and in this case the parents are trying to protect the children from knowledge so they aren't really sharing in it the same way the characters in Santa Clarita Diet do that but the show is very much about family and about returning to your roots so this is not a spoiler first five minutes of the show it is revealed that that JC McKenzie's dad has died in the far away in this old town. He used to grow up and he and tomorrow Taylor's character actor both grew up in and they have to return back to that town and he had been living. His Dad had lived in a mansion that JC McKinsey's character grew up in and and they end up having to go back for the week. So they're seeing a lot of old friends and old acquaintances as as they go along. So that's really interesting. Watching their personal lives unfold as well because they feel like. We don't get that a lot in a lot of SCI FI and a lot of procedural fedral dramas as well we focus on their work and don't get to see them much. Outside of those settings I think Jag is one of the big exceptions to that but even its spin off. NCIS doesn't focus as much on the the inner lives of these people. Oh really stargate. Didn't really focus on that at all. The one time we got to see Daniel at home or Sam at home tended to be when there was a crisis like and when the Alien Orleans was visiting or when Daniel was about to lose it and jump off of the balcony of his apartment because he had had been exposed to the light on the planet and was going through some withdrawals so for the most part and a lot of sci-fi at least the ones that I've watched we don't get to see either personal lives a lot that is why I like how star Trek doesn't character focused episodes as well but October faction gets really into the background of that and I enjoy it so if you like that kind of thing than you may enjoy this as well. There's also a lot of diversity in the show. You can tell how that they've really they're they're trying to really follow the principles of sci-fi and really representing people on screen that we are in the real world around us and I think that that's awesome that means we also get to see a lot of nuances in these characters that we don't typically get to see on television so navigating being gay as a person of color particularly a teenager. Because because tomorrow Taylor and Jaycees McKenzie's kids on the show are seventeen year old twins named Jeff so we get to see a lot of what's going going on with them. The children are so bright and speak multiple languages. I really enjoy the scenes where they're speaking to each other in different languages so you have to read the subtitles at the bottom of the screen. And it's because they've moved around a lot so it makes sense as to why the kids can already speak all these languages. It isn't one of those just Mary sue kind of things. These kids have worked hard to fit in everywhere that they've moved moved particularly Jeff Jeff Thrives on meeting New People and climbing the social hierarchies and every place that they go to whereas give who is one of my favorite characters so far she is really representative of how the brightest among US often don't fit in so while Jeff is really outgoing and he's smart in his own right socially and with speaking multiple languages. He's also a really fast with his quizzes. He's really smart and they indicate that but they don't focus on that with Jeff as much as they do with vivid where her parents are like. We know that you're smart. We I know you're straight a student but you need to work on getting along with other people. That is your goal for this next place that we moved to and I really enjoy that because being a genius is usually celebrated a law in film but here it shows some of the bombers of being incredibly doubly smart that having difficulties connecting to people. I think that a lot of us can identify with that and I really enjoy that. They're showing doing it through a girl particularly a woman of color. She's a young woman I should say so. She's not really a girl. She seventeen this young woman of color. And it's really interesting for me and identify a lot with in being very awkward. The know knowledge in the world going to help you not be awkward per se. That's just experience in social skills and that is why they are helping push give you've really even when she doesn't want to to be more sociable. I got that and it's it's difficult a lot of us know that we're awkward but we can't change it with the knowledge that we have which can be very frustrating because we can do a lot of things with knowledge except frequently solve our own problems ecorse there are also monsters on the show as I said it's not a huge focus but they do some really interesting things with the different monsters on there. It's not just what you typically see in vampires and such they go out and really try to make it their own and I like how they do that in the show so if you are interested in monster hunting shows than you might really like this.
