Travel disruption hits Germany on eve of transport strike.

"An increased number of travelers in Germany boarded trains and planes on Sunday. A day before a major one day strike that aims to bring the country's transportation system to a standstill, but even advanced travel was met with disruptions. Munich airport has already shut down because of the impending strike on Monday, and technical problems affecting German airline Lufthansa and Frankfurt led to flight delays in cancellations at the country's biggest airport. Munich airport, the country's second busiest, said that the Verde union was hitting it with two days of strikes, and it has no regular passenger or cargo flights on either Sunday or Monday. A total of a 1500 connections were affected and take offs and landings were only possible for emergency humanitarian flights. German unions have called on thousands of workers across the country's transportation system to stage strikes as employees in many sectors are seeking hefty raises to reflect persistently high inflation. Russia: Ukrainian drone caused blast far from border, 3 hurt

"Ukraine's government on Sunday, called for an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council to counter what it is called the Kremlin's nuclear blackmail after Russian president Vladimir Putin revealed plans to station tactical atomic weapons in Belarus. One Ukrainian official said that Russia has taken Belarus as a nuclear hostage, but Moscow said it was making the move in response to the west's increasing military support for Ukraine. Putin announced the plan in a television interview that aired on Saturday, saying it was triggered by a UK decision this past week to provide Ukraine with armor piercing rounds containing depleted uranium, Putin argued that by deploying its tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, Russia was following the lead of the United States. He noted that Washington has nuclear weapons based in Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and turkey. Russia has stored its weapons at dedicated depots on its own territory and moving part of the arsenal to a storage facility in Belarus would effectively up the ante in the Ukrainian conflict in response, Ukraine's foreign ministry condemned the move, stating that the world must be united against someone who endangers the future of human civilization. "Said was, oh, black people don't have to be Democrats. And they were like, ah. Like a whole world just crumbled and they were like, how dare she say something? It's the simple truth that drives them the most crazy. It's because they live in abstractions. They can't actually ever say something that the plumber, the electrician, the police officer, the firefighter, the person that didn't go to Harvard, can understand. They have to say, well, you know, according to postmodern theory and the book by Herbert marcuse like, actually, you're a racist and a bigot because Charlie, this is not a joke. You guys can check with not even gonna believe me, but I promise you this is real. So apparently, if you have an organized pantry or a clean home, you're racist. This is a real thing. It's a real thing now. And I have a very organized pantry. I have a very like my pantry is hotter than your pantry. I am so proud of it. It took me basically two months to organize my pantry. And then I found out on because of professor, professor from Loyola university, wrote an article explaining that actually if you aspire to organize your closets, it's because you are inherently racist and you don't understand that these social contracts. Bitcoin at $1,000,000 in 90 Days? The Insane Bet by Balaji Srinivasan

"Bitcoin to $1 million in 90 days? That's what the former CTO of coinbase thinks and more than a few people are taking him seriously. All right Friends, welcome back to another Bitcoin breakdown bite. We are talking about obviously the same thing that everyone is talking about, which, as it turns out, might be the point. That is biology, srinivasan, the former CTO of coinbase, and generally highly regarded if out there sometimes thinker, he has predicted that Bitcoin will go to $1 million inside the next 90 days, largely because of societal collapse on the back of the banking system. So McKenna here sums this up, biology thinks, most banks are insolvent in the U.S., Bitcoin goes to 1 million 90 days, hyperinflation is imminent, converted 99% of net worth to Bitcoin, U.S. Civil War happens, effing wild. All right, so we obviously today are going to get into what exactly biology is talking about and then all the responses and I'll give you a little bit of my take at the end of it. So, a few days ago, biology put up this tweet called the bit signal. He says, how do you ring the fire alarm on the Internet? How do you show it's not a false alarm? I'm putting up the bit signal. Now, this first version of this tweeter, this first tweet was basically a request for people to share the best charts, graphs, statistics that show effectively how screw the current financial system is, the type of thing that biology argues you wouldn't get from normal mainstream media and he was going to give a $1000 in Bitcoin for the best thousand tweets. He is arguing here that the existing system, the central bankers, et cetera, have hid insolvency from us and they're about to print a huge amount of money in order to save themselves from that. And so Bitcoin is likely to be the recipient, but more than just Bitcoin, it's about the underlying story. So that went up on March 16th. Then the next day, on March 17th, someone says, I'll bet anyone $1 million that the U.S. does not enter hyperinflation. James medlock is a neoliberal guy or whatever, I guess he says social Democrat in the streets, market socialists in the sheets. And so he has this bet on Twitter and biology says I will take that bet. You buy one Bitcoin, I will send 1 million USD odds 40 to one odds as Bitcoin is worth about 26 term is 90 days. Blah, blah, blah, blah, and all the terms and stuff. And this just set the Internet on fire.

Abide in God's Love

"John chapter 15 versus 9 through 11, as the father has loved me, so have I loved you, abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love. Just as I have kept my father's commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be full. I can keep going like it's so hard to pick one verse from John 15 and I'm certainly drawn in this chapter to John chapter 15 because it's the verse upon which this podcast is based. If you abide in me and my words abide in you ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you. We pray according to God's word and the more his word fills us and we abide in it and we pray according to it, we ask whatever we wish according to his word and it will be done for us. But then you get two verses later and you see this amazing breath taking life altering verse John 15 9 as the father has loved me. So just think about that. How much does the father love the sun a lot? An infinite, perfect love. She just says as the father has loved me. So I have loved you. You just soak that in today. Jesus loves you with the same intensity and breadth and width and depth of love with which the father loves him. He loves you and so he gives this command. Abide in my love. Just live in my love for you. That's a good command to live in today live today and God's love for you.

"Welcome back to the officer Tatum show them your guest host Carl Jackson sitting in for the officer Tatum and on the line with me is none other than the great Larry elder, so it's amazing to hear him. And he's in Chicago as the black conservative summit. And put it in work honestly. Larry, I'm so appreciative of what you guys are doing. We were speaking offline briefly here. And what I was telling you is I just appreciate what I consider some of the OGs and the black conservatives in the movement that are just kind of stepping up to mentor some of the younger people. We have the officer tatums. We have the Candace Owens. We have the epinomis. And you guys, you know, pave the way you being one of them, along with, I used to read Walter Williams actually still do, Thomas sol, and of course you, Larry, so we do, we do appreciate that. We were talking about taking the stigmatism off of black conservative or conservatism before the break. Do you feel like you guys are making inroads? Well, it's hard to say, as you know, when I ran for governor, I was called by a black columnist with the LA times, Larry L, this is in the headline, Larry elder is the black face of white supremacy. Some headline, you've been warned. And the point of this is that you've got to attack people like myself, if you're not a victim, if you believe that primarily the inequities that you complain about, have to do with things that we can and should do on our own, and you are a direct threat to the democratic message, which is you are a victim of racial systemic oppression. And it's a lie. It's a lie it's getting people killed. Calling the police systemically racist. It had an effect. It's called the George Floyd effect, police are pulling back not engaging in proactive policing. Bad guys know it, as I mentioned before, the congregate together and they're much more likely to commit crime and the people who are victimized by their clients are the very black people that people like Black Lives Matter claims that they care about.

Gwyneth Paltrow insists Utah ski collision wasn't her fault

"Actress Gwyneth Paltrow took the witness stand in a Utah courtroom to deny she was at fault in a skiing collision 8 years ago for which she's being sued for injuries to the other skier. Gwyneth Paltrow is being sued for damages by a 76 year old Utah man, Terry Sanderson, a retired optometrist, who says he suffered broken ribs and brain damage from their 2016 collision at the deer valley resort. I was skied directly into by mister Sanderson. Paltrow admits not asking if he was okay after they collided, assuming a ski instructor was handling the aftermath, and admits cursing out Sanderson. Her lawyer asked if she felt empathy toward him. I feel very sorry for him. It seems like he's had a very difficult life, but I did not cause the accident. So I can not be at fault. Sanderson's lawyers have pressed her on prices. And apparent effort to draw attention to her celebrity status. And question her knowledge of ski slope etiquette. Paltrow's lawyer suggests the lawsuit is to exploit her wealth. Paltrow's children are expected to testify Monday, along with the injured plaintiff. I'm Jackie Quinn

World Athletics Says Trans Women Banned From Female Sports

"Women were no longer allowed to compete in female track and field events regardless of their levels of testosterone world athletics president Sebastian Coe, announced, speaking after a meeting of the global track and field federation's decision making body co said, the council has agreed to exclude male or female transgender athletes who have been through male puberty from female world ranking competitions from March the 31st this year. And he said that the world athletics had consulted with stakeholders, including the International Olympic Committee and national federations. The majority of those consulted stated that transgender athletes should not be competing in the female category. Many believe there is insufficient evidence that trans women do not retain advantage over biological women and want more evidence that any physical advantages have been ameliorated before they are willing to consider an option for inclusion into the female category. The judgment we took was, I believe, in the best interest of our sport. We're not saying no forever, adding that a working group headed by a transgender person would be created to further monitor scientific developments. Now, this is interesting. The decision has divided opinion. Fair play for women, a UK based body, which says its aim is to defend the sex based rights of women and girls, welcome the move. This is a reversal of their unfair testosterone suppression policy and makes good on co's commitment to protect female sport.

"If this whole political thing doesn't work out you could come canoes and you'd be fine one day there wouldn't hate your outfit. You look fat in those pants and say you're not very smart. I wish you could read. Felker shannon's is interesting because he resigned from both his day job and his volunteer job. And so that that is sort of from a political point of view. It's sort of interesting. I'm not sure from one or the other one doesn't know right but i mean it is interesting. He's in the secular part of of what the church does. His was just interesting. And it felt so unexpected Francis gibson's felt slightly more expected in some ways. But what it does bring out is what y'all are talking about. Which is maybe taking a minute other than i mean. I moved to the intrigue pat part. But taking a minute and saying wow. This is hard on family. I mean heart hard on families. It's i don't think people realize how there's very little compensation. And i would be for more compensation we're in this awkward place in which we have a lay legislature which i think many of us like meaning. It's not a professional legislature. But if we don't think for a minute it's not real time that cuts into jobs and it cuts into family time and the pressure and then snarky. "Watching oleg you start on this one. I'm greg it seems to me. After we've listened to the generals that they said yes we all told the president. We needed to leave some troops behind an seems like twenty five of the kind of general one hundred with a general consensus president biden in an abc interview. Said that's not what he was whole. The president can make decisions like that right. There advisors sure. So that's all right. Here's the thing. I in hindsight you you listen to that. Abc george stephanopoulos Interview and given the specificity of the question posed to president biden by george stephanopoulos. At the time he said were you advised to leave. Any troops buys are. You should really know twenty five hundred troops. You were not advised. He went to that number. He went to that very number that we've heard in the country at the time saving rattled twenty five hundred bees to stay years of. No not to my recollection. So i went when when trump was president. Trump lies just just a blanket statement. You didn't have to give occasion. You didn't say he lied to in that interview. Abc news was given that that advice. You don't have to take it. But he was certainly given it which he denied here. Heard you know he said. Oh they'll never be a vaccine mandate. That's not true. He's absolutely advocating for that. He said of the. I can just go step by step and look at the things you know. The worst closed. Bogues voorschoten clubs starting president president for you. I heard it so much. What the trump administration from you. I would think that at least we'd have a democrat president that you can't just off the top of your head think of four doozy's a wise that he's just a big fan. You go so you can change your opinion but it does seem. There's been a lot of flopping from one site to another as we're talking about. President biden has the right to choose not listen to his advisors but didn't if to tell the people opposite i don't think so mara what do you think is this a bad thing for the president that his generals have had to come out and say we wanted these people to stay. Ultimately president trump wanted all zero. I i think we're focused on a singular aspect and one of the things that the general the debate about whether we kept a military base active and we decided to only have because we left troops. But we left troops only at the airport right and we sort of abandoned the rest of the country and i think the consensus was between the intelligence community and the military. We didn't have good information that we guessed wrong about the taliban certainly for sure and as i said a few weeks ago the buck stops ultimately the president absolutely unquestionably an interesting little facts. Though about american consumers of news is the fines approval ratings have gone up two percents in the last couple of weeks. Now they're dismal. I mean i'm not selling still forty. Eight dow's up there higher than trump's were so i bet like just say this listing thing about what we're listening to our listening to it but i think what i appreciated about the military's testimony is that they acknowledged what they got wrong and what they would have done differently and and and how we should progress and that is what i expect sort of and that's been a real usually not always but usually reliable with the military and they'll sort about not to stop and yeah we got that wrong and that happened with these guys and so my faith incompetence was bolstered that still these guys are playing it straight and doing the best they can And and presenting. And i thought that that was a good moment for america to hear always from our leaders but the end of the day. I think the analysis that i've heard over and over again which i think is the most true which is this was twenty years and we've got to unpack plenty of. Yeah twenty years that we've got. We've got financial problems. Problems all kinds of problems. So we've got all kinds of things to fix if you need a diy project here. The united states afternoon. Yes we've got to work on. I wanna go local here for a minute Instead of talking military but police in arctic problem in salt lake city right now. Well i guess i. It's not our big problem. I think we have a couple of big problems. Homelessness is a problem. And i think policing is a problem right now. I think down at least fifty officers last time. I checked Response times are not great and that was highlighted this past weekend when university of utah football player aaron low was shot and killed at a party. There was also a twenty year old young women. We haven't been speaking a lot of but Her name hasn't been released also. Ian either critical are serious condition. The hospital and there was a lot happening. Mara where i think there was multiple calls of you know loud stuff going on to. The party is not the most important thing world but obviously those calls progressed into something works. Is that problem. You're coming from a police chief. Wife stand puts a huge problem. And i'm a supporter of the officers. Who were serving. I'm a double supporters of officers. Who are continuing to serve our community and what has been largely hustle environment for a couple of years and there is. There is nothing wrong with the men and women who are serving in salt lake city police department. I mean everybody makes mistakes but this is a group of people. But i do think this excuse making is over. I am astonished that we are continuing to keep chief that every time there's an accusation he essentially answers teary eyed. Things are really hard. So what i say is the step side for someone who doesn't mind doing the hard stuff some facts. I think that aren't getting out there. Are there five hundred in nineteen allowed officer spots now so like if they were to be at their fullest capacity. It'd be five hundred. Nineteen and from what i understand as of this week if are short officers at all as in men and women out on the street they're short maybe nineteen which means we have the highest level of police officers on our streets that we've had in salt lake city history. Salt lake city has not had interesting history of resourcing police department. We're not detroit. We don't have cars. that don't work. We have them short officer. We hear they're down fifty officers. That's that's what they keep saying but they have more entitled officers and we also just heard from chief brown this week that they hired forty in their class so of the five nineteen. There's probably thirty or forty. Who are in training or still in post training but even that number even let's take down to four eight. Let's say that's how many men and women are on the street that is still higher than any number. We have ever had on the streets of salt lake city and our population growth counters. so show. let's even say we have two to three percent population growth every year. Will you're seeing that number being end over end of enforcement officers being allowed in the budget. So we've grown as our city has grown and we have resources and so in my mind. This is really solely a question of leadership. I think every public service department needs more people. And i think that the relationship between the unfettered homeless issue that i don't think of being entrusted either and the relationship to police resourcing. I think there's a direct relationship between those. I think those are disproportionately taking resources. But at the end of the day. I think it is on management leadership issue We don't come from an era in which we end over end have underresourced our police department. And i will say i'm so bottom line. Should you get a fast response. Like if i call i here. My neighbors are being loud..

"On the weather maybe not the political climate data for sure. I can conference. And i'm like i wanna watch watch over just like dip in and dip outside the dip in developing today. The last thing. I saw Was president biden dropping by the capital when the president drops by. That means his legacy. Even this early on in the presidency is at stake. Important things going on. I want to start with you so we have a lot going on. And i think a lot of people who are at home watching. It's a lot to take in at once when we're talking about the debt ceiling in the world so talking about standby bills we're talking about actual infrastructure. That was negotiated. The bipartisan deal. And then we have the other infrastructure deal going through so there's a lot of money getting talked about all of wants and people are like. Oh my gosh what's happening. Who's in charge. What happens next. Yeah it is. It's too much unpacking. That's part of the criticism. I have that there should of putting a wrench in some of when and and remember this is all in post or a recovery pandemic economy decisions. We're making are more than ever so maybe to unpack them quickly. Is that the debt ceiling raising and the voting to keep the budget going. You know that has historically been he snooze fast until just a handful of years ago. I mean if you look over the board of our country and this is the area. In which have the muskrat now is the sport field now sport. Any of his fifty fifty on who's to blame areas no differentiation. We just switch colors of uniform depending on where we are and argue. The opposite side is how i feel. I feel like there's no integrity. In the argument it is just like oh last time i said this. Now greg's charge. Okay now i'm going to say this because you look at betrying. Which was the law. Under president trump. It was the longest ever shutdown. I believe it was democrats being mad about the five billion. I think it was with a b for the border wall now we're talking trillions and raising the debt ceiling and this time we've got biting the white house and the republicans are mad and by a series of we. We need serious about our debt ceiling on our spending. You cannot hold hostage. Our budget because of the impact that it has not only on people who worked for the federal government and in utah. You look at the last cycle. I mean it was real jobs lost for real points of time and these are real families. The so there's a real but then there's this other affect in utah particularly that hospitality industry things but then you also have the ripple effect in which the market starts to get afraid because we can't even get our act together on a base budget and then you got the international community looking at. Thanks louise america. Now i will say we pull back from the brink at least more than twenty four hours but then that was right on the cusp is you said. Punted december third savannah. Blanca families being liked by rackets christmas gifts. Dwight get the hannukah surprise they want to do. I have any money. do i have a job. And they've congress doesn't want to me because the holidays they want to go home and the debt ceiling conversations going to link two weeks and then we haven't even begun the conversation as you suggest about the bipartisan infrastructure. Bill which is being sort of held up very much by the democrats who are having a singular discussion about this three point. Five with hand common amongst the democrats in the house. Failing on every french keeps promising. That bills come forward. She can't get her caucus together because the the more left-leaning members of that of that caucus perjury livid that the more moderate members don't want it to be tethered to the three point five trillion in spending all..

"That's not a strong message for a democrat. Statewide democrat party. And that's that's the part he was leading so if he's if he fought for that and he got the chairmanship and he got reelected and he's tapping out now. It's because it's not just here's one example of the flawed thinking that you bring. That's that's that's that's just go into wishart party chair when into debt and y'all kept him a big tide just not saying republican democrat. I said it's both parties are hard. It's hard line because they didn't he left with a huge amount of debt in a big old expensive piece of real estate. That you guys insist on keeping right in the middle of downtown. But i'll just say. I don't i don't i don't think it's partisan did actually something personal i'm gonna take jeff as face value there. I think it is personal but mostly sick of it over the years. I think that that is not true that we haven't and what would you want to say. Hey i can't raise a dime out here. i'm leaving. He wouldn't say he's not going to say that. I'm just giving you the truth. I'm just telling you. I know how this i know how hard that job is. And i'm not being partisan about it. It's art on political concerns program if you could just yeah. I'm text heidi's lettuce. The truth is clearly. I'm just reading between the lines here. All right report. And what i see greg. You're a busy man important man today. I'm not important. But i lots of steak tonight at the door or would you speak about our next issue. Hold it off. Lets off okay. We've already on fun and people have already had so much fun with us. We can only we tap out at some point. They've had too much. We've had much probably can't handle boys. Do we did what we took the first topic of. Gabby we just talked about that for twenty minutes. We always like to actually. I was ready to know. I was totally discriminated against in that first topic. This was a women's only topic. I wasn't allowed to have opinion. Everyone's allowed to have an opinion because we all have children. We all have neighbors. You'll just tell me and sometimes men are missing too and we put them on tv. All right it's been great had never happen. I hope you have a great happy important friday. Happy weekend to see you and not schober ceiling october. Alright bring your pumpkin. "It's i think it's worthwhile to take a crack at getting them to pay their share. But this is not the i was glad to see i was i think at twenty two states their financial officers but i was also very glad to see that there were members of the democratic caucus. Who said no. I think i think that's probably a good choice cross. We're talking about taxes. Remind me of a funny story. I have to tell you this. There's always a way around taxes so we brought up europe and it's the way to do it. My son came home and told me about a fun story. Where there's a business that straddles the lines of holland and belgium and it actually has two different doors to its business in depending on which country has the worst taxes at the time it will close one door and use the door on the other side so that their business can live off. Whatever is and. I'm like that's brilliant. If we all just straddle a country an idea for those who live in wendover. We're always dealing and it's a long drive to the hospital or walmart or but they've got amazon deliveries their museum for the was out there yeah. I don't know out there to take my instagram photos in the white sandy desert. I can't either. That's trending now isn't it was out there and i know windows all flash so cool before also greg out the door soon but i want to ask more about this because maybe she has some insight. Maybe you both have insight. But yesterday surprise email that came out. Seeing the jeff merchant the chair of the utah democratic party step down he was only elected. I believe in two thousand nineteen reelected this summer. He said he's stepping down for health issues. I honor anyone who wants to take care of health. Is there something more behind this. Is this a bad thing for the party. I feel like democrats. Need something solid right now. Here in the state of utah especially leading to even municipal elections which are important whether people like to show up or not. You know he's been a party. Stalwart so i you know thanks for the service because it is tough. Wrote not a fun job for either party. I mean i just say that is a tough the most active of the active politicos. That is a tough row. But you know. I did ask around about that. I'm going to have to put a pin and say i've got to get back. I'm not hearing others. It seems very unexpected. I read between the lines. I know everything that happened. Good and i mean it's very unexpected. And he has been a passionate member. I will say in the past. Democrats have had high profile. I mean our friend jim. Backus was an example. Yeah we've had the democrats have had people who can draw attention to the agenda and Jeff as was dirk brown before him kind of known as moderators. little bit. get along. And i know that many people enjoyed working with him and he was really about the policy. It's an interesting decision about whether the dams will go for another firebrand or whether they'll go for more of a methodical peacemaker. But are you going to put yourself up for this now..

"Lot of pressure if you're in politics to make the decisions that people put you office or other people. i mean. There's very differing views. On what should be done during this pandemic. There's a lot of pressure and it's probably not fun to make those decisions and it seems to me like everyone right now. Doesn't want to be the decision makers the legislature said okay. Cities and counties can make it. The governor's like i wanna make a decision. It sounds like but. I don't know if i can so i'm talking legislature again. Is there a good balance going on right now or is this a hot potato that no one wants to touch him. No one wants to own for my perspective. I think that's a good balance right because at the end of the day with this type of stuff we're talking about. We've seen over the past year and a half government powers that we've never really contemplated really seen in the recent in our recent history. And so you know. I think the proper role of government here is. Let's let's assess the data. Let's put the data before the people. Let's let them make the decisions. And maybe you know. Maybe that's the right approach is. Let's compile the data because health department and on the federal level the cdc and all that are going to have numbers that we can analyze and assess and then present that to the public in the let. Let them make their best decision. Because i think at the end of the day that's what we're seeing now. Anyways right there suggestions but people are gonna do what they think is rational for them based on the data that they're assessing and frankly the anecdotal stuff that they see everyday their life experiences. And that's okay. That's that's america. Absolutely a bear is living in the social media world right now and i feel like i have to just turn off sometimes but the thing that seems to be trending in the last couple of days since the governor held his news conference talking about hospital beds being full it sounded to me like he was trying to find the middle ground where he was saying. You know there's probably somewhere in between the never massacres. and i think he called him extreme masscres. Did he make mistakes saying that. You know maybe it was okay to find some middle ground because there's a lot of people out there mad right now saying i'm an extreme massacre because fill in the blank well the masking obviously is a very polarizing issue right and so you know maybe finding a middle ground is right because i think we're at a point where we're not going to appease either either side right at but at the end of the day everybody just wants the same thing. We want the public health to improve. We want to be able to address this. And so again i would default to. Let's let's present the data and let people make the choices. If you're if you're adamant that a mask is going to protect you than than you should mask up. But there's a lot of people are gonna make rational decisions for themselves and their families. Why they don't think a mask is necessary. And they can base that on data they base on experience they can base it on the fact that they're vaccinated or they've already had kobe..

"Max your up. I this concern you yes it does. I mean look. I don't like preseason period. I wish they'd get. Because the only thing i care about in preseason his please get hurt on my team right anyway. I want to get him. And so the fact that he's not playing reduces it minimizes injury risk. And if you ask me. Do i want more ready to play or do i want to make sure that leg is healthy because we saw pretty solid mid pack quarterback even behind an awful offense line with no saquon last year. Then he hurt his leg and he was awful. He was terrible right. I'd rather have him healthy. The thing that bothers me. Most though from what. I've seen with the giants so far as i was picking them to win the division. I'm not moving off it yet. But i just assume over time the offensive line will improve has not looked like it. Has you know it was picking who to win the division. What do the giants are the second best team in the division and the second best defensive team and so while. they're not as good offensively as the cowboys. They're much better defensively. Same thing on the other side with washington. But i thought they'd be better off the offensive line. Still doesn't look fixed. it's still like really bad. And that's going to hurt saquon which is going to hurt daniel jones and also makes me think it increases injury risk during the preseason so so where i come out on it is i wish they had fixed the offensive line. They didn't but my main concern is daniel. Jones is health. So it's not the end of the world that he didn't play a lot in the preseason. Now i'll tell you this before we came in here. And i read this and i kept reading over and over again. It bothered me. Because i kept asking myself. These questions is daniel jones or starr. Nfl no it has daniel. Jones earned a stripes to not playing a preseason. No has he ever made a pro bowl. No but i'll tell you two things that made me think why joe judge has not played daniel jones in a preseason right and number one mex- they have these joint practices. Now where they're basically like. Having two extra games but without tackling. And i can only assume that gioja just saying okay. I'll actually valid chick right now. I like what i've seen from daniel jones in these joint practices so he doesn't have to go out there and preseason number two. You mentioned the offense alon. They were second last year in sacks allowed with fifty only with houston and. I can't remember the other team right. The washington football team right. So why am i gonna put daniel jones out there with his office alive and i'll say to add to that. There aren't timid. Golladay is not out there. Playing these stars are not. they're playing. I'm thinking my mind joe. Judge doesn't want to shoot his confidence before the season starts. So that's why. I stand on this but emma m fan of it. No because i feel like daniel jones. Those reps right. He's losing time to get better as a human being. But i do understand certain side of it from jojoy joe judges. I brought up during during the draft. And dan orlovsky and stephen a boy they jumped all over me. I wanted the giants to grab one of the start like if justin fields fell right. Grab him and my point. Was you have competition and daniel jones. Maybe not yet. Let's see if justin feels really is great but the difference between daniel jones and justin fields. Is i think daniel jones has the potential to be a good nfl quarterback. I do not see greatness in just in fields. He might be a great. Nfl quarterback that's the difference. The giants are taking a guy who might be good investing years of time in developing him. Not protecting them with an offensive line. That's the real concerning part all right. Let's talk nfc sleepers europe. I hear harry nfc sleepers molly. You're probably waiting on this. I'm going to cowboys. I'm gonna go with the cowboys. Because i'm not worried about the cowboys. Offense you america's team what i've said you. We mean by sleep. He the cowboys can make. Hey we're in the last the last time the cowboys pls. When the last time the cowboys had been relevant always relevant because they will molly in a football sense on the field. When the last time i've hear about it's going to be there years the same old same all right so i'm gonna go with the cowboys because i believe in their offense but i'm gonna take it a step deeper. Dan queens new defensive coordinator dan. Quinn has learned from his mistakes in atlanta. I'll think the cowboys can go far right. And when i'll say his mistakes when he was in seattle he had a front four right. He had a defensive line. you didn't have the blitz in atlanta. You didn't have those guys. But outside of grady jerry. So what did he do. He continued to send for tommasi sent three. I had no idea what he was doing that. But teams carved up atlanta defense now the learning curve. That is okay. If your system isn't working you have to innovate. You have to adapt you have to plan b. c. and d. right if dan quinn can do that in dallas. Because i don't think they have that d. line right now like he did in seattle. But you want to know the strongpoint. These defense the linebackers. If you can utilize these guys send these guys. On bliss let these guys with off the edge and wreak havoc and just create chaos. I think dallas cowboys jumping. Can i just follow up and ask him wanting so when we were talking about dan recently. I said the same thing about what he did with the legion of boom etc. And i forgot who was the analyst and they flipped back at me and said well. Anybody could have done that with the legion of boom and those players so that doesn't prove that he's a top notch defensive coordinator. He just had a ton of talent. Well i can agree to a certain point. Because when he when he was in atlanta right. Dan quinn didn't have the guys that he had in seattle so he had to change up his defense. You can't just sit there and sit there. The defense be a sitting duck. Inlet office coordinators and quarterbacks pick you apart that's what he did not do we seen that when he lost his job and roy. Moore's became a the head coach in uber. Who's a dc in with the jets. Now when they took over we seen a different defense. We see them. Started getting pressure on the quarterback because they were blitzer linebackers they were blitzing. Gazan a secondary. They got innovative. They were doing things that they probably wanted to do. But dan quinn. Didn't sign off all of that. So i'm just hoping he's learned from his mistakes in atlanta it can bring this dallas defense to life. You gotta be hoping though. We don't know we don't know who he. I only live about a hope theory. Theory here the sleeper in the nfc me is arizona cardinals and they are in the most division in football agree by the way one of the most brutal divisions. I've ever i can remember in football like all four teams to me finish first or last. I wouldn't be shocked but zona could finish to win that division. Probably not but but i learned murray before the shoulder injury when they were running a lot was on and after he got hurt they stopped wanting them as much right because this he's exposed to dangerous and they fell off and he stopped rolling the balls effectively because he had shoulder injury right. Who's coming back for arizona this year on defense they bring in shay. J. watt low. Now it ain't j. J. watt from the old days and one of the three or four front seven players. I'd ever seen like all time great. Inner sanctum of the hall of fame. Great defensive player so he's falling off but he got a long way to fall. And at this point he's still better than most everybody really good chandler jones handler. Josie didn't play much last year. Chandler jones coming back you just added. Jj watt n chandler jones and. Now kyle shoulder isn't hurt. Who else did they add on office. Aj green aj. Green to the andre hopkins. I'm just saying this team there. This team could win. The nfc west could happen. And i go in with the west is breaking. make the playoffs. But they're not gonna hear you. I hear you. But i could say the same thing about the rams without camakers i could say the same thing with san francisco. Jimmy gets hurt and freelance and ready. I can say the same thing about seattle without a defense. You wanna know you have to just about anyone. But here's the difference those teams that you that you just name have been consistent doing it. Yup having went in arizona trajectory right. They've done it longer. So you have more trust in them. I'm just looking at right now. They took that arizona team. Said here's. jj watt chandler. Jones got big names. We've got to see if they can still do but if we were going to say. Nfc east. i would've probably said washington. Because i still don't think you could say cowboys can be asleep. Chase young defense. They might be able to do something..

"Going to until you had a little bit. The the bottom line of this whole situation is that carson wentz need to get out his phyllis. This game has no place for your feelings. I had a receiver coast. Told me that when i first got into lead this game cares about your feelings. Mana and play the game of football. No one cares about till feelings in this league and into costs with understands that he's going to be in these situations tom at the time team at the team. It doesn't matter where he goes get. That's that's the bottom line to me. Marquess paradise a beautiful statement. That's a beautiful statement and to respond to you molly about the carson wentz and needs to be built up. Bruce areas curse. Tom brady seven times last year. Because if you play like every everybody needs the bad cop of staff that's a part of football organizations you need guys let's go forth carson wentz to say hey man throw the ball away and don't go get hit in. The knees are get rid of the football. I trust the things that we telling you on the football field. Trust these plays all. I'm talking about all of the things that came up outside of em- playing bad in philly that came up about how his attitude was and how he responded to criticism that was a part of why carson wentz took a lot of heat in philly. Yeah we all acknowledge that everything wasn't great around him but the way he handled it. I was talking about this morning. Get up with trevor lawrence his performance with the jacksonville jaguars last night. You know. I respect about trump lawrence even though he was under all at the risks. He said it's me. I need to do better. I gotta get the ball out of my hands. We gotta start clicking offensively. Those are the things that i was looking for from carson wins so yes he needs to be built up he needs to be around got it believes in him but he also needs to tell them the truth and that's the point areas making a point that makes is making an melissa great to go get those right now. Absolutely listen. i grew up on tough love. I had the strictest father there was. I couldn't sleep in on the weekends. I could go on and on all these things. So that's how. I get time on the records some these now. I don't but some people don't always respond when the confidence broken but we will carry on because this is not about me. Max you're up. I give me your top. Afc sleeper team. Because i think you you mentioned it harry the. Afc is gone a lot better. Actually the chargers. I think the chargers i can't say the patriots anymore because they're not getting slept on anymore so that a couple of weeks ago. I didn't hear a lot of people saying it now. Everyone's saying it. I won't say the dolphins. I think it's the same thing. It's very dependent if it was good. Dolphins it'd be really good put. The chargers chargers could win double digits right season. The chargers had one of the worst coaches in the nfl. Last you're just look at the results. They switched that they have a guy who seems to know something about defense right now. They built up their offensive line. They had among the worst offensive lines in the nfl last year. And you know we could go on about skills positions and this and that they have a quarterback who's different. The chargers quarterback is different. You know there are two different kinds of quarterbacks with apologies to josh allen and some other very very good quarterback i'm talking about different. That's patrick mahomes and aaron rodgers. And i'm not saying justin. Herbert will be one of those guys. Sorry just be one of those guys. But i think he's gonna. I don't think anyone else will be in his category either like he might be three out of those third out of those free and when you have a quarterback like that who just had arguably the greatest rookie season ever i mean. It's on a short list in the history of the nfl at quarterback with a team like the chargers who has a lot of weapons and looks like they've improved. I gotta say we're sleeping on. This could be a double digit win team. Especially in a seventeen game schedule season molly. I'll go in the same division the afc west. But i'm gonna go with the denver broncos when i look at the denver broncos. They're defenses stack right. They have a super bowl defense right now. When i looked at the schedule these this team law six games by total twenty four points. You want to know the only knock on this team is max and slagle quarterback position drew lock. That's one i'm they brought teddy bridgewater in to compete for this job to see if he can get team afloat. Will you look at the denver broncos. They have players all over the place. Offensively defensively knotty. Just gotta get it together. The quarterback position and that's a position that the denver broncos has not get on. I say for the last what seven eight years. That's that's what's missing last year. I didn't believe in drew lock because there's a lot of times out there and they're football field when i watched film drew lock. He's not doing with the coverage has telling him the gold the football right so i see tight. End haven't been able to develop a quarterback in denver age-old story i see a wide receiver getting upset. But if they can fix the quarterback position i think the denver broncos can have an opportunity to fix it next year with aaron rodgers. And that was the best. Rogers go their best broncos contender. Well best of luck to him cause damage named fixing there with teddy bridgewater and drew lock. Listen the sleeper and afc whoever disrespecting this the pittsburgh steelers. i don't understand why the steelers are team. That's going to be left for dead. Big ben ain't done obviously we. We look at play in this preseason but also is understanding. I want to see more matt. Canada's office the bill. I like big being being under center a little bit more. Now was a pickup. I do believe this offensive line is going to be better. Because i give mike tomlin benefit of the doubt the coast that win a them mason rudolph starting at quarterback and doug hodges and then when we started talking about teams that have a history of being really good in this spike of things that are happening around them. The pittsburgh steelers a squarely in the center of that and not to mention this defense might be the number one defense when it's all in the league or they'll be in that conversation with the tampa bay buccaneers and everybody else up there up here and barrage sleep on the pittsburgh steelers. Love cleveland. love baltimore. The pittsburgh steelers will not go silently into the night and be a rather burger is not done. He's good enough to be supported by good team to make noise in the nfl. It ain't damn denver broncos and the chargers ain't no sleeper because the chargers are going to be really good under staley and listen the dribble about verse smelling ale. hold on only wisdom. Am twelve games. That's fair max and brandon. Staley everything people are saying about the steele. So i'm the only one who picked a sleeper. No i think you all did. "Well i agree with that. I think camps job to lose now. I'm not saying he had a major league over mack jones in this quarterback race. But right now. I think i don't know vowed lula's while you're listening to feel bella. Tick what did he say. The only reason guy won't have this. He's not unavailable which can isn't right now. Which doesn't really sit well for four cam right now. Or there's a person that's better than him. Cam has show me everything right now to be the starting quarterback he has lost his job. He hasn't did anything to lose his job and not only that. He's been very supportive of the guy that he's competing with that speaks volume for kids. Last year he put up some career low so that was part of it. Obviously we know he dealt with the cove and marc spears. Tell me this. I i get that. We can see two of playing but who's ultimately going to start more games camera. Mak make start more games cameras. Start out as the starter okay. i disagree i think. Can't i think look this doesn't mean just 'cause this is the case now it will always be brought this up yesterday. No rookie quarterback who started has ever taken a team to a super bowl let alone one believe me. That's the objective with this every year. So between a guy who's actually been. Mvp been to a super bowl and looks good. Actually looks better right now with this. He and a rookie. I'm pretty sure that bill belichick and less cam flat out stinks or is unavailable is going to stay with the veteran. Now marcus i see. I've got a question you fit in perfectly. I don't care you can hook them. Puff you can blow houses down. But all i'm gonna do a sit right back here getting my bricks and build a house. Backup cam newton right. Now it's his job to lose. He's gonna start morgan on our. I think bill belichick had a little lou fetish for dual threat quarterback. That's something a lot of people don't understand because in two thirteen cam newton towards them with his arm in his league's two thousand seventeen cam tortured him with his arms in his legs. Now i'm gonna tell you can help them. Puff you can look at the ceiling all you. I'm still going to look you. And i'm going to say what i gotta say. Marcus two thousand nine hundred ninety three hundred four games at the patriots loss. Were to a dual threat quarterback. That's the type of quarterback that gives a bill belichick defense heart hard time to deal with fits so one to bill. bill takes. What does he see when he sees. This happened to his defense. That's the kind of guy. We're probably won't why he why he went. That's why he went. And got cam newton last year and sound him and that's probably why he a little bit why he resigned this year. Because now cam have the full outfit. A full season off season to go through this offense in understand. This new england office is one of the toughest office to learn in the nfl. Now i wanna okay okay so so. It seems like making argument against cabinet. I'm not i. I hope to start for the rest of the season. I don't believe that that's going to be the case. Got a question for both of you. Get with the last time. The new england patriots. Drafting offense a player in the first round. What they do that jones you build in. This style is waiting a long period of time magazine. And that's the start. Listen cam newton this plane this year to show that he can play for another team at the level in which you can win with at quarterback matt jones is the succession plan cam on the week to week schedule. Y'all i know nobody wants to say it and don't know about it. believe it. he's on a week to week basis. Because i think that's right or that's what we say. It is his job to lou. I think that i disagree. He will start the most days. I think that's right own up to week to week. I don't think mack jones going to start more games than less cam comes down with covert work gets hurt or is otherwise unavailable. But i like harry's point a lot everyone assumes that bill belichick took cam newton. Because tom brady was gone he was the best available option for the money. And he got it and that's probably true but can also be talkin. Ko can't it also be true. That bill belichick is watching the league. Change into a dual threat quarterback league in thinking man. Let me get my hands on. One of these dual threat quarterback gotta die. dimple funds. Can do. You've got a job at just because look just because he had tom brady. Who is an immobile quarterback and now he has mack jones who's an immobile quarter. Everyone assumes well that's the kind of guy he wants. Maybe that's just the best available guy right but i'm quite sure belichick could give matt jones. Legs he would. Why wouldn't you want them to do more stuff. And cam. newton. Got legs. And i'm not disagreeing. Look look man. Everybody knows that the league is better. When you have a quarterback that's athletic. He can himself trouble. That's why that that's why argued every damn week leading up to the draft that the san francisco forty niners should not drag jones and new patriots. Sued you go here mileage. Marcus spears. you're not the only one with good vibes there's also some in indianapolis after carson wentz returned to practice. You can see him there. Moving around two and a half weeks from the regular season. The colts are cautiously optimistic. Three weeks out from foot surgery. He went through seven on seven work in hell increase the workload next week. La marca spears. Back there with us. But i'm going to start with you max. Carson wentz has kind of become a pet topic for max kellerman. What's the cold. Give me like that. You know what it is. What's the truth. What's the cold ceiling with wentz. Healthy playoff game Can bounce back. I don't think he'll bounce as high as he wants. Did which was the best player in the nfl portly. That's because the players in the nfl have gotten better at that position remember. He was talented at quarterback than everyone else is arms. Legs the whole thing toughness. No doubt about it. He was a great season. I thought he was going to be. Mvp then he got hurt and his team won the super bowl but then the following season the team was flat. They were dead in the water. Five hundred or maybe a game under gets hurt again falls takes over. They catch fire then the following year one good and everyone was on the second half. He's an mvp candidate but if you watched him the reason i started saying he was not good while everyone else was telling you he's near mvp is.

"My show. I take all the spn. Look how excited. They offer me. Mr stephen smith the is hosting jimmy kimmel tonight so make sure to check that out. I bet she's actually a little nervous. He doesn't get nervous about anything. That's a pretty big deal. Thanks a lot molly actually at all. Tell you that you know. I've been working with stephen a very long time. Sometimes i feel like i know him better than he knows himself. Stephen a. it's all love. I know you were a little nervous but you in late night. I absolutely love it. I have the full thing. Dvr and i will show some clips today but it's it's a good fit for him. Absolutely harry douglas. Here max kellerman. I'm molly karen. Rose gentlemen also market spear is going to join in just a second. We ready to do this day. Missed james was ready to do. This also showed up showing all is upside that incredible arm and the downside diminishes Taking care the football. Winston looking like a heisman trophy. Winning number one overall pick complete and touchdown passes of forty three and twenty nine yards to second-year pro. Marcus calloway as the saints defeated the jacksonville. Jaguars twenty three to twenty one on monday night. Football winston completed nine of ten passes for one hundred twenty three years without an interception bolstering his candidacy to become the saints new starter. Meanwhile rival in the quarterback competition tastes. I'm hill when three and one is a star while brees was injured last season hill. Pass for one thirty eight and a td a tip from the saints. Always updating a resume were constantly. all of. This film doesn't disappear. You're always trying to put your best foot forward in. Create that value for yourself a teammate as a player that has a role whether it's in the kicking game or whether it's on offense or defense whether it's for depth i mean that's something that you know. There is a sense of urgency for these guys football game. So long man so i was just. I was so excited to just get opportunity to start and lead the pac man. It was a sighting in The rhythm was great office line. he's phenomenal And we had guys like ways making plays all night you. You gotta love that. I'm not gonna hair. It was fun seeing him out there right. Talk with thirty thirty club but the the bad thirty was gone. It felt like sean payton was helping him take care that so tell me that. Should we have ever doubted that. James winston would beat the starter about molly. And i'm glad to start the show that you addressed the jameis winston as famous famous. Because that's exactly how he looked last night. Now to you. Max and you know. I've been waiting on this all night. This if i tell you a pigeon can pull a mack truck. Don't ask me no questions. You just hook that bad boy of max. I told you famous. James is the best quarterback for this team. And we've seen that last night. I love the rhythm that he was and he started out. I complete continue. Our slant marquess calloway right. The in his yard out on third down to tight in dany throws a swing pass towards win back then. Not only that. He deciphered coverage last night. Look at his first touchdown. i'd say to route combination. You have a deep over out by the receiver. That's opposite side of marquess. Calloway right so that satan is playing quarter cut quotas coverage on the opposite side if he'd cuts that overall. Now you have the pulse. Wide open jameis. Winston threw a perfect past. Look at the play. The touchdown the second time cover zero. What did he do. He deciphered do. You have a cut split by marquess callaway. What does that leave you. Nothing but space to work that fate rob work that we call it a fate touchdown jameis winston terrific kits by marquez. Calloway through by jameis. Winston mex- a. You should never ever doubted james. Well that's that's funny. You say that because he required that kind of performance to lock up the job member. Sean payton said that before. The third preseason game. he's gonna make pick right. Yeah and it came down to against a running back wide out. Hybrid wildcat type quarterback the number one overall draft pick the former national champion. The former heisman. Trophy winner a guy who led the league in passing yards. It took a full season backing up. Drew brees plus game to of the preseason where he had to be virtually perfect. Even the one incompletion like it was like. Whoa go ahead. I know you wanna talk about that. I do down right in the reason why they was in third along because they got to false start penalties right and what i love about. Janus he was looking at it now. He wanted the rifled down feed. Sean payton and drew brees was in his ear. Basically saying don't do james jamie joe. Dr davis overberg jewelry showed up over. Here be careful. But that's but that's one of the things that sean payton is talking about. That's one of the things that jameis winston is talking about that he learned under drew brees but right down it took a even the one completion. Perfect yeah it took a perfect performance by miss in the in the second in the at the last moment he could lock up the job in order to lock up the job overseas. And that's you have to also include in that case them comes and he's not playing with the ones that he's playing with the twos the threes and he has value outside of the quarterback position. Like if james can't play quarterback for you good for nothing for you is just an insurance policy tastes. He'll kill that most quarterbacks in the nfl but not but not taste. Some hill tastes him. Hill can help you in a variety of ways. And so james has the manage going in and it's great at. Tell me what takes them. Hill is great. He's very good at a lot of things. Very tell me what he is. great at. Don't tell me what killed jason great at the football downfield lasts needs crate. Just seen it last night air it out. Well let me tell you this max right. It's not about how you stop colombo how you finish no that you don't want to finish to change the way you say that because you out james wisdom before he got to the same stature if you want to know who elston started career off very well can't peyton manning. Oh no no no no no we gotta bring up for a bowl to former number. One overall draft picks right. Y'all let me let me let me drop the number two now. Peyton manning his first five years an elite who fall over twenty thousand yards one hundred thirty eight touchdowns one hundred interceptions completion percentage sixty two quarterback rating eighty five point nine what was jameis winston over nineteen thousand yards a hundred and twenty one touchdowns eighty eighty eight interceptions. Completion percentage sixty one point six. Qb ratings better eighty seven point four. It's not about how you start. Mex- harry sometimes you know. Sometimes you don't go through. Adversity is how you come back from it. He winston went through adversity. He sat behind drew. Brees he starting job five years into his career. And those numbers that you just cited. It is so much more of a passing league when quarterbacks are expected to do.

"They have to be a hundred percent behind him and his injury and they have to say this. Come back and do it again. Because he's already come back from injury and played at an all star an mvp level But they went all in two years ago when they when they signed. Both of those guys. the free agent. So you can't turn back now. We've turned it back now. Kenny let me. Let me say this i know. Go waza to tom. Champion but while. I got you on the show. Let me also reiterate a position that i've echoed in the past. I have no problem. Recognizing wildland is one of the top plays and the brother is just big time. There's no denying that he's a two time champion. We get that but kenny. I got serious doubts as to whether or not i would want to invest with him. Long-term you about a one or two year deal that's different but long-term speak to us a second about culture in the sport of basketball when you instigate load management when you play when you wanna play practice when you want to practice and your injury prone. How can that build the crop culture for you particularly if you to los angeles clippers. What do you say they. They had cut themselves only because he won a championship doing in toronto. He was low management coming in and out practicing at certain times sitting out games. They want a championship and he was down the stretch. Then if you say. I'm gonna only offer you wanna two year deal but three do this. Twenty other teams. That would clear cap space at say. I'll take that chance including a team in the same building problem. We'll take that chance. I i think that they put themselves in a position that he he's he's one that way if he had if he had played toronto and they didn't win. Then you could be like well. Hey got got we got. We got stuck back. We've got to give you like three. You deal we gotta make the practice. But since he's done it and he's done at the high level and won the championship doing it. I think you're handcuffed to say this is the way it's going to be Can be left the good stuff for a paying it for. Tell us more about the academy and we talked to you about it when you launch. We were pandemic July twenty twenty. What's going on with that. Six thousand members virtual basketball -struction. You get the best. That's what we're doing here. I mean in. North carolina filming. We felt just filming six vanity at clarkston got draymond green. Cj mccollum and you could just personal one on one learning how to play the game a lot. There's a lotta great trainers but these you went to do stuff why there's a difference between just doing it. So if you go to the jet academy dot com again. Jared kademi dot com sign up. "Team to think about it. I'm expecting the hawks to go back to join with nate mcmillan in turn things around. You can't expect for them to play the same way fall asleep at the wheel like they did in milwaukee. I just don't see in atlanta in a home stadium. I expected milwaukee to play well. I didn't expect for some of the players play as well as they did at home. But we all know that. Chris middleton had phenomenal games at home and not on the road. They're going back on the road again. And it's important much like mcmillan say it's a win or go home moment and wherever you have a winner. Go home moment. That team at home usually rises city occasion. The milwaukee bucks really have not blown out the atlanta hawks up until last night everything for the most part has been tight. They got away with one last night in terms of a blow out for whatever reason the hogs didn't come to the party but i anticipate that they come to the party again when they play at home in atlanta falcons stadium. I know they're going to have some kind of freaknik going on with the atlanta hawks because the holiday weekend the barbecue july fourth but to bring some memory to your memory. The bucks did beat the hawks in atlanta in game. Three and chris middleton outscored them in a quarter so they know they had the ability to go in their building and beat the atlanta hawks. You're right keeps. I'm not expecting that. Four guys going to be a double figures in the first half but they may not need that because it can be a knocked down drag out battle and also by the way we still don't know trae young is going to play even without him or with them. The buck still more talented team even though yachters. That's why i believe that. In a knockdown drag out game and with the potential elimination game. That they're going to close out game six. I wanna be on a game. Seven ball thing going to be wrong. I think this series over by saturday night. Okay friday so you. You sound very convicted. Do you think that the buck should sit jaanus regardless of how he's feeling and game six to rest him up for the finals. If you feel so confident. It's not about charlie and key it's about you can play key will tell you this. You can play hurt but you can't play injury janas injured. Trae young is injured. Both of those guys. We're not talking about just being hurt. And the little boo boo. John has has hyperextended left knee. And we don't even know how severe that injury is. But it's severe enough that you can't put him out. He may want to be out there. But why are you gonna put a player out there in the compromise position when he's injured so it's not about they sit jaanus if he's not healthy. You can't play that guy. I don't care if he begged and balls and talk to plead his land basketball court. You're not doing yourself any kind of favor. By putting him out there and maybe even worsening an injury so it's not about the butts. Sit john it's in game six. They have no choice because he's injured. He's not hurt saying the trae young. You can't put those guys out there and then you make injury even worse just because you're trying to win the series or trying to win the championship. John shouldn't play it off. Had hyperextended knee before and it's not fun. It takes a while to come back from. It does not feel good at all. You'd have no stability there. It has a little wobble to it. And the way that he plays with the euro steps in different things that he does with that particular league. I don't see plan. i'm not a doctor. Dr johnson's not available right now. But yet he certainly. Charlie don't see where he'll be able to play in even if he was able to get out on the floor he wouldn't be the same he will be compensating. And why further injure yourself. Especially when you're the franchise player just to try to get a victory. Sports are full of great moments like that perfect pass between defensemen for a one time or under the goalies glove or a sweet. No look alleyoop for a big time slam by when it comes to car insurance. It doesn't take a special connection with the all star point guard to get surprisingly great rates from state farm. "Hello hello. What's going on everybody. Welcome to take. it's friday. We made it. I'm charlie are joined by keyshawn. Johnson we also have freddie coleman joining us. How's everybody feeling this morning. we're good. I'm good. I'm going to get the weekend going me too. I got a barbecue. Tacoma house waiting for me man. I'm all set okay. Any any like dish that really cycles pork chops you put grew grow chicken. Then that's going to be a good barbecue with some fixing next to it. So that's what we got going on this weekend. So freddie on my show is more than we were trying to. I was trying to get them. Explain to me the difference between a grill out grilling barbecue. I from the west coast. We call it. Barbecue right people on the east coast call cookouts grilling and i'm trying to understand the difference. There's no difference. There's no difference if you're outdoors in your cooking. It's all good so there's no difference it's a whole west coast east coast south north thing. That's all that is is the same thing. Okay all right well you know. It was eating good last night. The milwaukee bucks who would step up in janas absence in game five everybody brook lopez's throwing it back to his big men days on the nets towering inside the pain dominating for a playoff career high thirty three points on fourteen of eighteen shooting. Meanwhile bobby portis junior. Chris middleton jrue holiday. Finish the twenty to twenty five and twenty six points respectively hawks starting bucks in front the hallway. One twenty three to one twelve the final was milwaukee. Now one game away from the finals victory. This respect me to do that. No for me is just figuring out the game within a game find a way to get myself involved but also others knowing that you know the folk points from the meal. A lot more In giralda did you did a great job. You know sending its home. I got himself going to got other guys involved bobby But then myself not. Just try to you know. Take my spot. Fine racket attacking aggressive Said you vanish. It is a must win game for us. And that's what it comes down to That's what this game. means If you drop it as we did tonight and this must for us you know so so one game season for us so we know we have to do and you know we gotta get back home and get ourselves ready to take care of business at home. Expect us to respond a died. Everybody going up through milwaukee their starting five step outscored. The hawks starting five by thirty three points including thirty advantage in the paint and even without jaanus bucks ended up outrebounding. The hawks by nineteen. Bobby portis who started in you. Honest as place had twenty two points and eight rebounds eight playoff career high. I mean honestly. Last night i felt like oprah like you get points you get points you get four of the five. Starters had twenty two points or more last night for the bucks. So that's something to be proud of. So freddie let's start with you here should the bucks shouldn't earn sorry. Should the series be over at this point. I wanted to go game seven. But i think is going to end in sixteen because the milwaukee bucks what they were able to do last night and i don't wanna be that prisoner the moment but if they play like that the atlanta hawks have no chance of beating them. Especially when we don't believe that trae young at least. I don't believe that trae young. It's going to be there for game six. He tried to. He tried to give it a go before game five. That ankle is just not responding that for this just not responding but this milwaukee bucks team. They played with an attitude last night. And here's something else. Why believe this is going to be over and six. There's that team called the phoenix suns. That is getting more than enough rest once again waiting for another opponent. We saw how that works and then against the denver nuggets when they closed out the lakers. We saw how that worked for the los angeles clippers when they closed out the denver nuggets. They did not fool around by allowing the clippers. The push them to a game seven if you are the atlanta hawks and you know you play like that even without jaanus. You're gonna make this series over. And i think they're going to do it again on the road of course a lot more comfort playing at home but now going on the road and knowing that man if we get into a game seven a winner take all even if we win that we're going to be mentally and physically worn out and playing a team in phoenix at his hot right now. That is mentally and physically rested. If you're the atlanta hawks. You can't fool around. And they know that in the game six by the milwaukee bucks rubicam fool around. That's what i believe. I think this series is going to be over at six. I wanna game. I love game. Sevens by the milwaukee bucks know that if we fool around we may win this series but we did not win the championship that we want to get to. And i think that's why they're gonna put it away and six when saturday night rolls around if you the milwaukee bucks freddie and you're looking ahead to nba final against the phoenix suns. You've already lost because you're not paying attention to the atlanta hawks. Going home in their own stadium. You know how jacked up hotlanta gobi. Where the trae young plays a not. They beat the they. Beat the milwaukee bucks. I'll trae young in game four at home when they had their top dog. I can't see no way possible. That the milwaukee books can duplicate what they did last night in game five again in game six when all four of those guys and five of those guys stepping up to the plate. I can't see what brooklyn brook lopez's all of a sudden tests thirty plus points. Yeah middleton may do will but do you expect jrue holiday the drop twenty five points to set the tone again. Do you expect for bobby. Portis to play the way that he did on the road in hotlanta against the atlanta hawks team by nate mcmillan. Who's going to make that forty eight hour adjustment. he's not. He's going to out coach coach. But this time around the smart thing that milwaukee did in his getting is pounded the ball down slope. but we haven't seen them do that on a consistent basis so there's nothing there that tells me that the series is over. It's gonna go to game. Seven is going back to milwaukee and again if the bucks are looking ahead to the signs. They've already lost because they lost the team. That's in front of him paying a team to attention paying attention to a team that can potentially have wrist makes no sense at all. I think they should be looking ahead. Because the u the milwaukee bucks why are you gonna extend yourself when you can put an opponent away because the ultimate goal is to win a championship. And i know you gotta go things in incremental steps. I clearly understand where you're coming from keyshawn. But if you're the milwaukee bucks you gotta say this but we got to put this team away in game six. Of course. No one's expecting bobby bobby portis experience again like we saw in game five when he was able to do the milwaukee bucks and by the way brook lopez. Maybe look pretty smart. I said yes they. The most important player was brook. Lopez's milwaukee bucks. He had three points for the first time. Freddy coleman's life. He was smarter than the average bear. So i'm not expecting that to happen in the game six but i'm also not expecting that the atlanta hawks are gonna be able to hopefully suit the ball. Better in that game walkies defense has been really really good now. Bogged out of it has been able to knock down downsides but kevin hurt her. He's in the punk right now. John cows he's in a funk right now. Clint cappella had his soul taken away from him last night by brook lopez. That's not going to happen again. But i'm not expecting that the bucks come down that far and that the hawks the game six everything you just said it's not gonna happen. You don't expect for brook lopez's to do this. You don't expect for them to do that. Then how are they gonna win in atlanta. Because i expect for the atlanta falcons to go back to the drawing board. Make the necessary adjustments game.

bucks trae young atlanta hawks keyshawn hawks freddie coleman milwaukee west coast east coast janas bobby portis Chris middleton freddie jaanus bucks Bobby portis brook lopez denver nuggets los angeles clippers phoenix suns jaanus Tacoma

There's so many things that we can do to help our immune systems if we do get. Don't get as sick. So i think there's a lot of personal responsibility as we go into the summer with fireworks cove with everything that come on adult hard people. You can do this. Hopefully i love that. Health and wallace should have been on the front burner from day one but they were given out crispy cream donuts and booze if getting married getting shots and vaccines a break. "President barack obama if we go back to the two thousand sixteen election When people thought that hillary clinton was the runaway winner they everybody thought she was gonna win and no one really thought that donald trump can't it had a chance there had already been discussions about was russia hacking elections. And but really the thought was. Where was it being hacked in favor of hillary clinton and that's how the narrative was being framed back then it was brought president obama who said it is the most decentralized election a country will ever have when you have county clerks within states who run their own elections to suggest that a four nation could come in and manipulate a national election. That is decentralized to that degree. isn't real. This what president obama said during the sixteen election. And so i mean we saw the narratives of foreign states and we do know that they do try to get into our social media platforms and tried to influence sentiment. So we know. That's going on. But i think the grays defense against any of that is the decentralizing of our election process. And so you know these county clerk elections they are pretty darn important and i think that You wanna make sure that elected county clerk that you trust and hope run. Run a free a free and fair election Easy to vote hard to cheat. That should be everybody's Clarion call and i will say i'll give a shout out to utah. I'm not. I'm sometimes critical of our law-making hair. But we've been rather progressive about providing access to the ballot we've been very common sense oriented about it and We've been very respectful local jurisdictions as we've chosen our laws Show i do think that this was good for the country to take a pass. But again if i look at the underlying politic of it. It is a setup for the democrats to discuss fought so hard to get mentioned mansion in others I to fall in line was the agreement. I wasn't about the bill. It was every democrat to be on the side of that bill. And that's what they did. There's always a learning curve. And i wish other states were talk to other states. That are doing things writer you know look and make changes to make it because i think bottom line we all want are the people of our state and our communities to vote and hopefully people will sit down. Listen to make good decisions. But when it's a setup for the democrats. I just wish there was a little bit of a some neon lights around stacey. Abrams the unsuccessful candidate for governor back in eighteen. Who i know her name better than the republican that one because stacey abrams is really never left the national stage. She she truly did Say that that requiring voter. Id was a form of voter suppression and she completely changed that position in order. Because senator manchin wants id and the the people when you when you pull americans whatever party. They they think having idea vote is not a bad thing. They think it's a way to make it hard to cheat. So that's that resonates. The washington post called evolving. that's that senator abrahams or no stacey. Abrams position was evolving..
