Probably give people to jump in and help out a little bit. But it's gonna be a good dad hanging out. I'm sure the bid trip to las siesta for margaritas in there somewhere and it's it's just kind of a thank you for the you know. I wish i wish that we could abroad. A burst the wicked. A lot of good eats law. Good fellowship no doubt about it. Malcolm read mark williams joining me here on the show. Mark from a fast or a Not fast food but from a social media foods trend. Are you all in or all out the hottest thing ever to hit the social media scene here in the last two weeks smoked cream cheese. Eat it hick. Yeah yeah to me. It sounds great. I hadn't jumped on the boat yet. I hadn't tried it. It's one of the things everybody. It happened so quick. It blew up in a week's time like you say one person do and you're like oh that's pretty cool and then you wake up the next morning. There's thousands of people doing it. So i was like to the game on that one. But yeah my nights. It's gotta be good. You have a burgeoning. youtube channel. Have just under forty two thousand subscribers. Do you feel any kind of pressure when you see something like this fallout out that you have to jump on and put a swine life barbecue spin on it malcolm you here in a second so thinking about your answer here but do you feel any kind of pressure to jump in and perhaps take advantage to gain new followers off of that. I mean yeah a little bit. Because i mean that's probably one of the number one search things right now especially on tick talk and everything like that but in the same sits. You know i'll take a lot of pride and trying to be original trying to put my twist on it. And you know not necessarily jumping on the bandwagon and cooking the green cheese. But i mean it's a great recipe and it. It's a blank canvas. it's just like everything else. everybody can make their own really easy and every week you see it in. Somebody's topping you know. Somebody's adding bacon jam to it or doing something crazy with it and really bring out great flavors with the blank campus. Malcolm do you feel pressure. You have now one point three million youtube subscribers though. Is that a nice way for you to perhaps gain a couple extra followers you have never really jumped on the trans as much like that There's probably been a few that i've done but it's not something i go looking for. All i mean really with mine. I've already worked out kind of got a schedule. The shell keeps me on. And so it's like this way you're doing this and we've already practicing kinda got it down so she's not giving me a leeway but there are times where i'll see something to do. I did the cream cheese on talk It's probably about a month over month ago or something like that and it really wasn't a big thing then but that that little talk videos has got like over fourteen million views now. So that's a tells you how much that thanks taken off people smoking cream cheese. But i will say this greg. I don't know why i've never done that before. Because it takes cream cheese to a whole 'nother level really reason not to smoke it. I i i mean there's some old man in me and this was also what what i feel like. I must have been when. I had defiance again. Pellet smokers which now i fully in deep love with and i have many of them on my back patio. But i'm like cream cheese like is there not fifty other things that we could try smoking besides cream cheese. I mean you're unwrapping a brick of white cheese throwing it on the smoker. I mean what do you think is going to happen. It's going to absorb bunch of as much smoke as the probably can cause it's cold and it's kinda damp and everything that smoking attached to cream cheese is made out of nice patina color. I mean you know. Visually attractive blah blah blah but. I think maybe that was something that could have been left. And i love seeing people just throwing shit up against the wall and seeing what's going to stick when it comes to the next fat malcolm i gotta ask for as hard and as long as you work to really craft the youtube channel into the juggernaut that it is now. Are you just blown away with how popular you've gotten on tick-tock in a mere fraction of the time eight months we we're we're probably going to pass our youtube numbers in twelve months and i'm getting close to it now. We're almost two million was unbelievable but that shows you the way. People are viewing media and differently now as opposed when i started You know youtube. You're still the best long form video out there but the short form video is the one that's real popular people isn't there people consuming it on mobile devices so everybody's scrawling to their phone and they've got sixty seconds to watch a video that's about all the attention span. You're getting and i think that's why i mean that's why it's so popular. It's you're asking for a commitment. Some i sit down and watch.

We're going to teach him a lesson. And of course i don't play nice when it comes to tailgaters. I really i really don't. I'm like the enforcer on the road. Because i teach them you know. Hey the closer you get the slower. I'm going to go. But i don't harm anyone. Of course. I just do that to tell them. Hey don't do this so anyway. We're like yeah. Let's let's mess with them for a bit. See what happens. Speed limits to seventy five on a highway. The guys tailgating me and my friend. The two other lanes are open. No excuse me. Three lanes were the only two cars on the highway. This point everywhere. Everyone else's six sixteen hundred feet back like way back there at this point. The car behind Switches lanes and we do the same thing we switch over to the right lane and he's tailgating us both keep switching lanes until we both go off the exit ramp. We go off the exit ramp and their tailgating and slowing down and we return to get off other road. We come face to face with the driver and it's not a guy but it's a woman so me and my friend at this point. Had the windows up in the music turned down to medium. We both realized we were just making a woman very upset and she was like in her

Like nine thirty. Every night I've only going to bed. So early every night so very well rested the first time in a long time. So now I'm like h Tina. Traveling, place I'm I'm ready but. All the time. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Man I mean maybe as a way to get into it, I wanted to ask you about this because you're one of the few people I've talked to WHO's actually had this experience you did at least one of those drive in shows, right? Yeah I did one in. It's not technically Charlotte but it's called the fountain. Outside a Shar like. Forty five minutes as a shirt. That I mean walk me through that experience because I'm I'm so curious what it actually felt like to play one of those shows, right? Well, you know it's interesting because. I feel like. Every. Time. They're still I guess every week or so. The climate surrounding. Coronavirus or country or if you wanna Mike. Rugged down to what we do in music. History. Shows and safety every week or every couple of waste seems like there's a different. Tone to. The overall consensus of. Or what's not or what's what's what's considered okay, and what's not considered okay. So at the time of Accepting the drive in at the very beginning of the pandemic but that's Close closer to beginnings. He's ideas started coming on board around and I was like well only if it's safe and. assured was assured it was going to be running with all the precautions. needed. Sauza guy let's do it At least could say I did warn in my lifetime looking back on this and. The entire experience break down it was so. So. Interesting. But it was also really great on the road team. Have that one little sense of normalcy for the back with that family right? Because that's family were disconnected from right now. Yeah. Dude I. I feel like normally I spend majority of my year with these guys in the it's the first time I've seen him since probably February which was pretty wild. You're the show was It was it was interesting was very I know there's been a lot of mixture of us in a lot of controversy and a lot of different viewpoints on the drive in but my experience I can only speak it test mice during read. The people that were vice show of. It was. It was extremely safe I got there and Obviously it's. It's a it's an interesting way out stage is not normal stage, but you look out there near. Plot of land. It's massive view. It's actually in a beautiful area north. Carolina was palm land in your ads they will drive in the middle of nowhere. You know when he started when we got there for the show We had a little green room of whatever you WANNA, call it like the bandages office. Entire thing I'm looking at this? This is insane like hundreds and hundreds of cars, but all all within their confined space. And I was like nervous. We'll see our kids gonNA like. Kids. Tend to break rules Orlean at our bend the rules. Like a follow them until they get into an arcade screw, we're going to go your own thing. What I notice was everyone was actually like. Inner areas tailgating in their own area so We weren't like. Johnny not allowed to drive a students staged way to walk to the stage, which is totally GUAC panacea at all but I walk through these cars everyone like in their own spot hanging out with a small group of people everyone had their masks which I was nervous as. I. Don't want to be one of those things where. Everyone's in their mask and everyone's raging I'm like, please please please everyone is saw. A FROM MY CO engine stage wearing their masks surprisingly a lot of people were. Staying in their cars with all the tour shut listening to the music raging. That's interesting. That's kind of why were they was it on like a like an FM. Station people to so this was this was this was one of those ones amodio station June into classic drive in situation and A. was kind of interesting about the layout was we had a stage in its smaller stage. It wasn't a big festival Susan that. Was Cool. Is Right next to the right of. The movie was the wall movie projector. Only thing is like hundred tall was thing is. The biggest movie screen of. The had alive live streaming camera angle couple of angles of the media Jank from booth cameras hooked up there were projecting like live casting off the big screen and they had that makes in with I brought my vj. So he was able to to display my content. On this really cool large movie screen mixed into my live cam feed and. It was really cool. It was like I've never seen anything like that for a show like scream out large. That pretty interesting show itself. it's it's weird because we had my own borders. So they were like festivals don't monitor so loud for me on like a normal joe for me,

Ole Miss Coach Lane Kiffin on college football in a pandemic
"Really looking forward to this next guest. He's Lane Kiffin head coach at Ole Miss and coach Kiffin joining us from campus as. The rebels still have a little bit of time to coach. How's it going? Good afternoon great. I'm really looking forward to the interview to all on the same page well. Okay You promised me the other day you tape the coaches meeting last Thursday morning, and you're going to play it for us with all the descent going on. So can you just hit the play button and we'll all sit back and listen. I don't think that the commissioner be very happy about that. Paul. It was interesting call. Well, we we've been reading about it and and I know you pretty well, I doubt that. You were one of those complaining, but I would imagine you. You've been part of this league twice now What's it like? Being reunited with all your esteemed colleagues. Well, it's interesting I. Didn't realize until that first SEC meeting that we had in Birmingham this time around and I believe if I'm right coach saving, myself were the only ones. Were the only ones in the meeting that were there in whatever two, thousand nine in Tennessee won the day I took the job. So I just saw today and I realize you're your coaching football you're not in charge of the stadium, but I thought governor a few minutes ago in Mississippi governor reads announced that there would be I think twenty percent capacity that's not the big news. The big news is no tailgating. The I know that doesn't affect you as a coach, but it does affect the fans does it not? Yeah it does but you know it is what it is and You know good decision you know based off of social distancing issues in the spread. So a lot of decisions are being made like that that you know people aren't happy with, but you know people really for the most part following protocol with Corona and everyone's talking about the students. But you know I drive through downtown. I, see pictures on the Internet you know most aren't falling either so that makes it really difficult to open up the grow. Yeah I it is a big deal but know Miss Missile one season coach I on on the the more important issues of football team back we talked to you some time ago and that was before voluntary workout had had commenced how how's it feel now and what are you seeing and sensing? From your football team. What are excited to be back? We've had three practices and you know. They're always excited this time of year, but you know to have it taken away from them from Spring and then potentially not playing all at one point You can see how excited they are to be around, and so like I've said before challenges not motivating them, they're plenty motivated the challenges them having disciplined away from here. So we can stop the spread because really at the end of the day, everybody wants to lift weights. Every wants to practice run sprints and learn offense defense but. Probably the teams are win. The most games are the ones that have the least players out for the Games because of Cronin 'cause they manages well. Yeah in on that front What are you doing I mean I realize the season's five weeks away but will there be a set of protocols and precautions not not the normal safety but just to make sure that your own units don't infect each other and you're you're left going playing Alabama at home or another key game without. Critical people I know you can't avoid it, but you can also try to keep them separated to some degree or can you? Yeah, we can. You know I'm not worried about when they're here I, mean we we've got you know team meetings that we have out in indoor facility. You know with everybody spaced out and their instead of the team room you know we split our special teams means you know so we never have everybody together and so I'm not worried when they're here. You know they do a good job and we make them. You know it's it's when they're away from here and then they go into an environment of the college environment and they look around and no one's doing it. So you know it's it's difficult for a young kid. Either looted do it a couple times and I realized there's only so much coach can say but how? What means are you employing to try to drill that into their head or do they already know it and you just have to let them do whatever they they think is right. Now I mean when we talk about it all the time, Paul and you know the biggest point them. You may not feel like you matter because you're redshirt your fourteen. But you don't you don't do this right you know and you you can infect to starter. So. Or senior that you know loses part of their season or towards loses the end of their senior year. So you know it's really a big challenge. Have you sought at all because we always when we get the schedules which we did the other night you you tend to look at, Road Games home games and man this school has an advantage here or there but nobody really knows do they when you go when you go on the road and there's fifteen sixteen, seventeen, thousand people, it's not going to be the same road environment and I know you won't know until you get there but I'm just curious if someone who is coach at a lot of different places and a lot of really tough environments, what are your thoughts? Well, it's GonNa be completely different. You know definitely won't need silent count that's for sure so. We'll be in Tiger stadium into the season and you know we'll be able to to. To yell the audibles to the quarterback on the five yard line. So you know it it'll be very different I think kind of almost be eerie as you play you know for the players you know like. Lap for the SEC this would be less than a spring game. You know attendance so. it'll be very strange.
Kansas City Chiefs allowing reduced capacity at stadium
"Team committed to fans in the stands yet? We got one that is the world champion. Kansas City Chiefs say they will have 22% capacity about 17,000 Arrowhead Stadium for their opener to celebrate their Super Bowl title. Temper temper. They will let people sitting kind of pot groups tailgate, too, but only with people in your party. Okay, no fans that never say he's been stadium through the end of September Foreign Land united and thousands Okay. After that TV D here's WSB
Big 12 to move forward with plans for fall football season
"Danny Yesterday was a tough day for a college football fan like myself getting a chance. The last couple of years. The host thes Chicago's college tailgate show on Saturdays with Jonathan Hood in Adam Abdullah. I love college football. I love our local teams, and I love professional sports. But there's something special about the pageantry. The passion small college towns that burst into hundreds of thousands of people on Saturday afternoons thie games, the football games itself very exciting, and usually you get to see something on a Saturday in the fall day. I don't usually get to see in an NFL game. Maybe it's a high scoring affair. Maybe it's a great comeback. Maybe it's hitting a nine team teaser that you set up throughout the day that that makes you a bunch of money. It's It's what I do in the fall is I love Saturdays. I'd live for Saturdays. Yes, Very. The news of the Big 10 postponing all fall sports until further notice, and as the quoted here says in hopefully in the spring was disappointing. And then the Pac 12 follow suits and they postpone all sports until the start of 2021. So the key there is. The Pac 12 is postponing football in the fall in fall sports but also college basketball usually starts at the end of October, which the Pac 12 is telling us. They won't start college basketball on time. They will postpone that 2021 It was sad. It was disappointing. We have reports from the Big 12 that there are plans that they continue to head forward and they are planning on playing football. The has been out, saying that their medical reports have suggested that they could continue to play football. Notre Dame is plan planning on playing football in the fall in the sea as well. So Any your thoughts hearing that the Big 10 the Pac 12 that both pulled out of fall sports for collegiate athletes, and in the fall first, I think it's incredibly sad for guys like you and I people listening to us that just love college football, you know, college football season doesn't go off this year. The only sport we're going to have in the months of November, December is the NFL. So we have to really cross our fingers at the NFL. Get this right Or else we're gonna have no sports. Because the MBA is going to be done. The NHL is going to be done. Baseball is going to be done. It's sad for Spectators that liketo watch it. It's incredibly sad for the young athletes. I mean, you know they they've worked their whole lives to get to a point where they're playing sports at a collegiate level. And now to have this ripped away from them is devastating. And I understand How they feel. I understand that they want to play. Listen. When I was 18 to 22 years old. I made a lot of dumb choices, and I probably would have wanted to play too, with a pandemic going on. But I do think that the Big 10 made the right call. I think that The liability issues. You have all these players on all these teams putting themselves in harm's way to play a sport that's making schools. Million's upon billions of dollars. They're getting nothing but a free education, and that's still something but you're putting them at risk. They're not employees like in the NFL. They're they're doing this. To provide themselves in education, But they're also putting their lives on the line to raise a lot of money for their universities. I think it was the right call. I don't know, necessarily if the Big 10 needed to rush to it. You know what happens if the Big 12 pulls this off? They say they're gonna have a nine and one so nine conference games, one nonconference games. What if the Big 12 pulls this off? And they have a successful football season is the big 10 Then sitting there looking like, boy? We we acted too soon.

Facebook instagram. Whatever it may be out there but if you're just joining us we've had an excellent show here today talking about Arizona being the most likely path back to baseball as soon as possible talking about the players League. Mlb The show video games who you need to follow who you need to watch to be entertained. Then I preview the best team of every franchise in the American League East and then if they were all to play in the same season where they'd finished that division. So I know you guys are going to have thoughts on that. Please let me know what you think. We're going to continue to do that. Across all Major League baseball moving forward then. We talked about the simulations. What's going on there? Who are who's performing well for each team Who's GonNa make some money? Who's not and then finally here having some fun in the sixth and final segment. I'm GonNa Talk to you guys about the best tailgating atmospheres across Major League Baseball stadiums to which I have attended. There's your asterix. There's your outline and you're going to have. I can't believe he didn't say the dodgers. There's a lot of fun. Well I'll never bend dodger stadium so I can't talk to you about the tailgating atmosphere. It's pretty much that simple so I'm GonNa be discussing where I've been the top ten where I think ultimately you can have some fun and again let me know if I'm wrong. Let me know if I mess things up so start now a number ten Washington nationals. Yes the ballpark. Right there in downtown. Dc right by the capital. Doing all around. I I'd like the location. I enjoy it but I just. I don't know I didn't get the vibe around the ballpark of having a good time. Come and have a drink then go to the game. It was more kind of business like parking in a parking garage very expensive. It's just as tight. I don't know I didn't love the pre and post game atmosphere in Washington. That's because Kinda like these other places and transition into number nine. It's kind of the reason why I didn't like number nine was it was twofold right so number nine is the New York mets Citi field in Queens. It was good and bad because basically the tailgate you take is in Manhattan you take. I believe it's the seven train from Grand Central Station and it takes you a right to queens right to citi field so there. You didn't have to deal with parking. You didn't have to deal with traffic. You don't have to deal with any of that stuff with my buddies in Manhattan we hop on a train. You're there in five minutes. So that's cool. That's awesome I but it wasn't that Game Day ballpark atmosphere for tailgating. I if that makes sense yes you're at a bar. Yes you're drinking. Yes you're having a good time but it's not all mets fans. It wasn't all phillies fans. You know whatever team was there at the time. So that's where I'm like all right cool. This was fun but I wasn't involved with everything I wanted to be involved with. You couldn't be yelling at people in the parking lot or you know. Throw in baseball or football or can jam. You're at a bar in Manhattan and all of a sudden fifteen minutes later. You're at the stadium so pros and cons there but but I like to kind of be submerged within the entire culture number eight is Houston. I was at Houston before I was of age drink so I didn't have the full experience. But I like the ballpark. The stadiums a lot of fun right in downtown didn't have problems getting to and from the stadium so really can't complain about what's going on there. Plus I've heard from friends now that we are of age that it is a good time. It is a lot of fun so. I didn't want to jump to conclusions there but I like to tailgating atmosphere right at the stadium next up Pittsburgh pirates. Pnc Park my most beautiful ballpark. Some of the most excellent food but the tailgating leaves Leave something to be desired. There's a few bars locally right. They're not a ton of them. The tailgating situation is an okay. You know there's some rules and regulations there that frustrate the locals you can't have any tents or awnings or overhangs because they could blow away quote unquote and yet down in the SEC football. That's all there ever is. So it's just it's one of those things where it's like come on really. What are we talking about so Pittsburgh Beautiful Stadium? Beautiful location beautiful everything so so tailgating atmosphere and maybe again because the pirates aren't the top team in baseball and they aren't very competitive. Since I've been there I wasn't there when they made the playoffs in a few years back but just not the best game day energy in the greater. Pnc area number six is Philadelphia and these are the ones that I think we start to get to the top of the top but the phillies. They have great tailgating. It's one of those words the total opposite of kind of the top of the list because it is zero bars or I guess there's one bar complex but it's not bar hopping you're not in the city. You're kind of secluded to yourself. You know south of downtown but huge tailgating huge parking lot. So if you're into the outdoor games like bags cornhole Kan jam just throwing ball around whatever it may be you can do it here in the Phillies tailgate. But it's B. Y. O. B. Loud music blasting running around having a good time and join the sun not in a bar in a different style of town that some of these other ones have so. I like being submerged in town a little bit more if I have the opportunity but Philadelphia. Does it right with the large parking? Lots large overhangs giving some shade having yourself a good time the top five transitioning here number five Minnesota. The twins right in downtown Minneapolis. Beautiful Ballpark you up to. We walked out of. The Stadium. Went to a few bars right around it. There's a downtown. Strip within walking distance. That's excellent. They got rooftop bars in Minnesota which surprised the heck out of me. It's cold in Minnesota Philadelphia didn't even have any rooftop bars. So why the heck is Minnesota but I love it our Minneapolis. I guess to be specific but I loved it. I love the rooftop atmosphere. I love walking out of the stadium and then walking and having your choice of multiple bars to go into to have a post game to have a nightcap to whatever you WANNA do. Minneapolis AND THE TWINS. They did it right with that location number. Four Baltimore Older Stadium but done right around it. Yeah in the immediate. You know a couple of blocks. There's there's a few restaurants but if you walk ten fifteen minutes you get to the areas of town where you can have some fun where there's a bunch of strips with different bars different atmospheres a lot of good times to be had. I've been to Baltimore for opening day. That was a ton of fun. Personally I I really enjoyed that. I was surprised by the energy. The atmosphere there so the orioles doing it right when they're good and not lose one hundred games. You can have some fun down around. Camden yards number. Three was the New York Yankees the new Yankee Stadium. I was at the first time last year. They have bars all surrounding the stadium. Whether your parking parking garages or decks. Whatever it may be but Taking public transportation to and from Manhattan. That's the only thing it's Kinda difficult to get to but surrounding stadium in the Bronx. A ton of good options to to have a beer or two before the game Family friendly establishments non family friendly establishments both option to you. So I like the Bronx. I like New York number two Boston. The Red Sox up there. If you've ever been to fenway it's surrounded by bars. They got strips all around the stadium. You can eat drink before the game after the game. You don't need a ticket to get into this area. They cut off the one walkway once. The game starts but other than that. You have a ton of fun drinks food atmosphere again. Everybody's pumped for the game. Red Sox are typically good. It's usually a big game. I've been there for the last two American League Championship series. It's been a ton of fun to experience and you know. I love the atmosphere up in Boston. Number one Chicago Cubs Wrigley. Ville can't beat it. Just walking out of the stadium there whether you're in the bleachers out in the outfield or you're behind the dish going down to Wrigley Ville multiple bars. Baseball related bar. Sport related bars. Having yourself some fun play some games. Do what you gotta do but everybody heads to the streets. After the Games everybody goes to the bar for a drink you can. You can have yourself a great time in Wrigley Ville Post game so top. Five Minnesota Twins Baltimore Orioles number three New York Yankees number two Boston Red Sox and number one Chicago cubs who I have as the best tailgating atmosphere and experiences. All of those have one thing in common. They are bars when it comes to strictly tailgate. Parking lot scenarios. Philadelphia's up there Pittsburgh's up there. Those are more those style. Houston as well but let me know if I missed you guys. If you're listening from a city or Ballpark. I didn't mention guys again. I haven't been there and it's a ton of fun. Let me know. I love to check out the atmosphere. Get to as many ballparks as I can so let me know where I need to be moving forward but that'll wrap it up for this edition of the GMC baseball podcast brought to you by the GMC podcast network. "By the G. S. M. C. podcast network. Oh man what a segment that was last segment talking about. ranking the best teams ever in the American League East. I know I upset somebody out there. I want some feedback on. Why the seventy orioles would beat the ninety eight. Yankees or the. Oh four red sox come on guys give me something you can do that by heading to social media head. The facebook shoot me. A message had to twitter. Direct message me there. You can leave a review wherever you're listening to this. If it's apple podcast modify write in your review. Why you think something's on our off. I'll read them here on the Shell. We'll get some good interaction going on That's for sure but Sticking with a make believe best of the best division. We're going to transfer over here into a make believe simulation of twenty twenty segment five simulation segments. I think you could call it. We'll talk about the differences between Strat O Matic baseball reference. Continue to keep you guys updated. See if they stabilize themselves or if some individuals or teams are excellent in one. And you know not very good in the other keeping you guys posted on the computers and where they think things will ultimately end up. Maybe we'll compare and contrast eventually when we get some real baseball see see how spot on these supercomputers are at this point but again American League East we start top to bottom strat o Matic Tampa New York Boston Baltimore Toronto so basically Baltimore Toronto. They're filtering down to the bottom. They Tampa Bay strong New York right behind in Boston. Right around five hundred in baseball reference the Yankees at the top Toronto Tampa Baltimore Boston Boston. But ultimately New York the top one in baseball reference which I agree with Tampa around. Five hundred straddle. Maddox a little bit higher on. Tampa Bay They think Tampa could have a much better year. Personally I don't know about that. I'm Kinda hit or miss on Tampa. I think there are real solid team. I talked about twenty. Nineteen was one of their best. You know best ever. So we'll see if they can come back out with twenty twenty and run it back. They're going over to the AL central. Kansas City I straddle Matt come on. What are we doing? Let's get Kansas City out of here. They're not that good. So Cleveland at fourteen and nine there. We GO MINNESOTA twelve and ten Minnesota coming back figuring things out. We talked about how they weren't very good early on ten and twelve with baseball reference for Minnesota and the white sox still seventeen and five baseball reference. Seven and fifteen and strat o matic so baseball reference high on the White Sox and Indians only strat o Matic on the Indians not baseball reference. Let's see here continuing to bounce around American league west who they have. They got Oakland at the top right behind. Houston Texas L. A. and Seattle beneath that. I could see that Sir Oakland's pretty good out of the gate same over here. We Got Oakland they got Houston at twelve and nine and we got a surprise from the mariners with baseball reference. I told you guys last episode. No way that lasts. They're one of the worst teams hence the seven in sixteen strat o matic simulation so baseball reference given Seattle some love. If you're mariners fan follow along baseball reference not so much strat o matic. You'll be a little bit more disappointed when it comes to what's going on. Let's see going into the National League. They have strat. O Matic has Washington followed by Atlanta and Philadelphia Philadelphia. Eleven and twelve. Okay we're hanging around five hundred now where we want to be Atlanta Twelve and twelve baseball reference not so much a fan of the flight and fills they of Atlanta at the top at sixteen and eight. Atalanta's really good that sounds about right nationals. Marlins mets and they got the Phillies at seven sixteen. Who COME ON BOYS PICK IT UP? When are we got going here but Atlanta winning the east certainly sounds like it's about right but head into the NFL central Strat O matic. They got the cubs followed by the cardinals and reds in that order the cubbies and early surprise. They're going to the essential in baseball reference. They got the cubbies at the bottom. Still so still the city Chicago. The computers disagree on Baseball. Reference has the reds in the in the cardinals at the top so the cardinals very much in it not outstanding not great the reds my surprise team in the NFL White Sox Mice Bryce team in the AL baseball reference. We're on the same Beijing. They got both at the top of the division here. Currently as of April nineteenth time over courting here round out the West San Diego getting some love and Strat o matic right above the dodgers Arizona. Having a strong early season The diamondbacks their their stronger in baseball reference tied with the dodgers but they are not high on the. Padres padres not getting the love from baseball reference. So strat O matic. Let's see they currently have Tampa Kansas City. Oakland win in the American League. Let's See New York Chicago and Oakland for baseball reference and then the National League Washington the cubs and San Diego Atlanta Cincinnati and Arizona so totally different leaders of their divisions as. We're getting here in the middle of April but let's move over to some individual results here. Let's start with the hitters. I like to see what's going on here. Jimenez for the White SOx straddle maddox still hitting four twenty four Lopez for the royals hitting four hundred Gardner for the Yankees three ninety five black men an Colorado three ninety four let's see Andrews at Texas hitting three ninety but only two guys over four hundred still in strat o matic like I said I want to see how long it takes before everybody gets under their April twentieth when bad and regards hitting four hundred almost a month in here. If if that were really the Truth Trevor Story Eleven Dinger's for Straddle Matic Jimenez right behind them Lindores so layer torres all with nine or eight rb Jimenez leads the way with twenty three Mon Dec- twenty-three Cruise Twenty three story twenty-three Lindores so layer and Harper with twenty one. Everybody right around there strike outs Joey. Gallo leading the way with thirty nine from the offensive side so standard cast of characters. We haven't seen Carlos Santana Manny Machado Alina League in doubles. But let's jump over to baseball reference if we get any similarities in regards to names here batting average still doll from Colorado. Wow David Doll still hitting four twenty seven and it's the only guy they have over four hundred here with Baseball Reference Ozzy. Albie sitting three ninety. Jose Peraza hitting three eighty two Carlos. Santana three seventy six. Ross in Miami. Three seventy six just a great early. Start for the guys here. Ob P we got Dolly the way followed by Moose Dacas Alvarez all over a thousand all leading the way here let's see as we continue home runs ray S for eleven marcus. Simeon with ten out. Oakland Stanton Dog Gallo Torres Let's see going over to rb. Is Your Alvarez who thirty the the high was twenty three for Strat o matic? We got thirty over here with baseball reference with Alvarez race with twenty four at sounds a little bit better here see if we get strikeouts is joy. Gallo is he there. Oh He's tied for third. Got Hoskins up top with thirty four hundred renfro thirty five but actually Harrison baiter leading the way with thirty seven not a good way to start two twenty twenty season by thirty KS. So jumping out over to the mound here wrapping up the Simulation Talk Blake Snell. Our Boy Blake classically famous. That's twitch handle for those of you who skipped the second segment. He's got a point..

"You love them if you know any health care. Workers Nurses doctors whatever. It may be anybody out there who still in these central worker. You know risking their lives to help kind of keep America running here in in crazy times. That's happening Do me a favor. Cinematheque shoot them a call. Tell me let them tell them. You're thankful I know I'm trying to do the same across my context here as much as possible. But if you're just joining us here we've had an excellent show so far talking about the corona virus playing out in Arizona or quarantine we then discussed the players league. Mlb The show video game happenings. That are going on. Who to check out power rankings. And then we've been having some fun here just recently. I talked to you guys about the best. The best when it comes to the American League East in which team I think is the best edition of every one of them and now we're going to rank them now we're going to. I'm going to tell you guys. Hey Twenty twenty s happening. It's the ninety. Three Blue Jays versus the seventy orioles. Who's going to win the division where they're going to finish kind of preseason prediction style of segment? I WanNa hear from you guys out there. I WANNA hear why I'm way off on what's going on and I'm not giving enough respect to this team or given too much respected is team because you know there's some stuff I don't know the nineteen seventy orioles. I wasn't able to see him in person. You know I'm going off a stats. I'm going off of Thoughts articles research that. I'm doing here online. So this is what it comes down to. Basically I'm going to rank them one through five. We'll go five to one. Give you my thoughts. I'm going to keep an update on everything that's going on. We're GONNA EVENTUALLY COME BACK. Do Playoffs do and I'm GonNa tell you who the best team of all time was over the course of the next month. Who who's not excited to find that out so I think it's going to be a lot of fun. Sorry there my pen. Hit My microphone if you heard that in the background but let's rank these teams that we just did here. We're going to start out with the OH eight Tampa Bay race okay. The rays have never won the world series. That's basically qualifier number one for having them in the basement here each one of these other teams won the world series and their respective year. But the OH eight raise. They were loaded men Carlos pain. Ah Thirty years old at the time and Evan Longoria he was a young buck. Only twenty two. He had a solid year form. Carl Crawford Upton Junior Cliff Floyd D. H. Inform Eric Kinski off the bench. Willie eibar Ben Zobrist Johnny Combs Rocco Ball Deli now. The manager the twins manager of the year last year. There's some guys here who turn this team into a very solid team when it comes down to it you look at the lineup hidden to ninety five to seventy four to eighty six to seventy two to seventy three to seventy three to seventy two. It was just a very balanced ofensive lineup. Tampa Bay giving people trouble and then looking at the rotation James Shields was fantastic form at the top. They had Matt Garza Edwin Jackson. Scott Kasmir Age Twenty six twenty five twenty four twenty four very very young and fun to watch but ultimately fell short. David price for fourteen innings. That year I remember him in the playoffs. Making some moves for them. So yeah that's just hits a shame. An excellent ball club has all of these arts the best Tampa Bay team we've ever seen but I would have finished fifth in this division here next up. I'm GonNa go with the ninety three Blue Jays to finish fourth. That was tough. I've talked to people who've had higher honestly in my life I've seen more than than the seventy orioles who I have is in third place but you know again. I just I can't do it. They beat the phillies in the world. Series I'm going to be a little bit bitter here. I'M GONNA hold a little bit of a grudge. I'M GONNA put them in fourth place. John Olin route twenty four year old first Baseman hit three sixty three twenty four. Dinger's one hundred and some RBI's man real impressive from John Roberto Alamar at second base. He was only twenty five at the time. He hit three twenty six in the middle of that lineup. Joe Carter. He had eighth in right field but he led the team with thirty three home runs in one hundred and twenty rb is and then they had Paul Molitor it looks like Hidden Ninth Designated Hitter Twenty Dinger's hundred and eleven. Rbi's yeah. He was thirty six at that point but he was hitting three thirty two. Are you kidding me? They had Ricky Henderson in left field at thirty four years old he was only in fifteen. Let's Ricky Henderson. I Roberto Alamar Henderson. Molitor they're just loaded looking at the rotation one guzman. Todd Stoudamire Dave Stewart Jack Morris. Just you know Pat Hence Jen. Nineteen and nine that year. He was one of the strongest guys. I don't know I'm putting them at fourth. Just because they ended up beating the phillies and honestly I think some of these statistics are a little bit more impressive as we wander around here so finishing third and that means wildcard fringe is the one thousand nine hundred. Seventy Baltimore Orioles. Let's start with the pitching staff. I teased it earlier. Three twenty game winners in nineteen seventy. We had Jim Palmer at twenty and ten at three hundred five innings. What what three hundred and five? Oh my God look at this Palmer. Three hundred and five at twenty and ten Mike Culinary. I I'M GONNA I'M GONNA say wrong. I don't even know the names people. It's one thousand nine hundred seventy. Tell me how you pronounce this cell. Ular Cooler. I don't know man I feel bad. Twenty four and eight and two hundred ninety seven innings. What was it just routine to throw three hundred innings in one thousand nine hundred seventy? That's unbelievable and then Dave McNally I can say that one. He was only twenty seven at the time. He was twenty four and nine in two hundred ninety six innings man three twenty game winners three hundred and five to ninety seven to ninety six who you don't even need a bullpen at that point. And then if you do you got Pete Reicher Richard. He's closing one. Nine eighty are a that year. Oh man how you guys GonNa hit off of that. Let's see if they're getting any run support here from the lineup. The top hitter in the lineup. They had Frank Robinson hidden eighth out in right field at age. Thirty Four. He hit three. Oh six bog Powell hidden to ninety seven. He had thirty five daggers. One Hundred Fourteen rbis twenty eight year old first basement hitting second seems to be the guy leading the way they're most games play David Johnson and Mark Bellinger Brooks Robinson at age. Thirty three hidden to seventy six. Just that offense. I don't think lives up to the offenses of the top two teams but this pitching staff. Oh my God one of the best ever. Obviously the following year they added an additional twenty game winner but fell a game short of winning the world series or that would have been the best team in their history probably was on paper but again didn't win it so nine thousand nine hundred seventy orioles finishing third here in the imaginary American League East number two. I have the two thousand four Boston. Red Sox again may not be the best team ever for the Red Sox with twenty eight team but we'll wait and see how that one ultimately goes down here with this offensive line up just loaded again. Let's talk about David Ortiz D. H. And he hit three. Oh One forty one homers one hundred and thirty nine. Rb Is Manny Ramirez Forty. Three home runs. One hundred. Thirty RB is hitting three Oh eight. Wow Manny and David big PAPI. Just let's see combined eighty four to sixty nine. Wow ooh the top two guys this past year. And what did they run? I don't think it was that good I- teammates. I don't think we're that good. I know we had individual guys. Maybe we'll get it with stanton and judge this year but oh baby Johnny Damon Gabe. Kappler was a twenty eight year old at that point. Hitting two seventy two had a solid year is now managing. Kevin Millar Jason Varitek Kevin Youkilis Nomar Garciaparra Trot Nixon. Dave Roberts again very very good team offensively looking at the starting rotation curt schilling thirty seven years old when in over twenty games twenty one and six and two hundred and twenty six innings very impressive Pedro Martinez. Thirty two years old. He was sixteen and nine over two hundred innings. Tim Wakefield Derek Lowe Bronson Arroyo who bounced around and hung around but Mike. Tomlin are excused. Mike Tim Lynch who man very impressive from Boston and they'll finish just short of the team win in this division this imaginary division here this year the Nineteen Ninety eight New York Yankees. Start now with their lineup. Just loaded whore. Hey Posada Tino Martinez Chuck knob lock. Derek jeter Scott. Brosius Chad Curtis. He's probably the only guy who you know who the Hell Chad Curtis in left field but Bernie Williams and Senator Paul. O'neil and right Darrell Strawberry. Just a loaded team twenty four hours twenty four hours twenty-sixth nineteen nineteen seventeen. Twenty eight seventeen six added nine at over seventeen home runs and again Chad. Curtis is the lowest ten next lowest was seventeen. Just what is going on there and then you have Tim Raines designated hitter. Joe Girardi Catching Luis. Sojo down there you go to the mount amount is even more impressive than the hitters. In this scenario Andy. Pettitte top of the rotation David Wells David Cone..

"Whether it's a, a door they just pulled out of the church remodeling an an and I'm up in tailgating. And my wife is, is complaining too close to the back of the pickup truck is trying to figure out how the heck are they gonna put that thing in their cabin? So I think Kevin's have have some freedom of personal expression attached to them, that makes them special places so you're inclined in a cabin to say, cut the non. Watches of the height of your children as they're growing. You're in a score that in the in the door frame, and you wouldn't do that in your house, you know, that would be that would be defacing, your house in a way wouldn't accept that cabin. You're willing to do that. Kevin's our casual. They are the taking off your pants as soon as you walk in the door vibe of the architecture world. They allow us to dream of a life with fewer restrictions. Perhaps this is because there were fewer judgy neighbors in the middle of the woods. Maybe I don't know Jared dream about Gavin's. No, I don't. I don't drink very much about and snow. It's not none of race of dream. Yeah. It was just wondering. I wonder I am this dream. Okay. Tell me if you've ever had that where you're in your house, or your in some house, that you live in, or whatever. And then you realize that there's a door or a cabinet that you've never noticed before. And then there's another room or another area that you can never realize that you've had have you ever had that dream? No, we should talk about three brew. That's going to tell a lot about you. There's this place you're trying to escape to, but you're just trying to escape to one of my cabins. Okay. I looked this up for firstly every decoding dream website, seems to just plagiarize directly off each other verbatim. But apparently, this is really really common dream. It means that we're discovering new abilities and strengths within ourselves. Okay. So let's say this is not flimflam and has some kind of psychological merit. I just decided to stare out the window for minute. And think okay, what part of me? Am I neglecting truly like let's get honest with myself and the main thing that came to mind, was just general, grooming? But I think I also had these dreams more when I was working from home it just living in a studio apartment, which isn't quite like great Dane, spouse and baby level cramped, but a little tight any who's will dreams windows to your gross. "I actually we went with two in a row for you so now we'll go to in a row from me i think that it'd be very appropriate to tailgate but also very enjoyable at the hague during a war crime trial oh yeah feel because those things can drag there's not very much good to eat outside of the hague at all now so you can do all different times and i think because you're in europe you gotta go sausages to go kill bosses sausage you can do brought worst beer battered brought words and you can make a real spicy can be as hot as you are going to be in hell my friend you know what i mean if you get to the hey that's fucked up yeah you fuck that if you're the hague oh nazis were here we did bad things but yeah no i feel like sausages at the hague would be extremely inappropriate yeah my next one would be at a daycare okay i feel like if you go into the daycare you just light it up in the toddler room there's a lot of little hands a little hands yet especially put it on the floor or in once crib while they're like hanging out in their cribs super appropriate for grill unless we have a really advanced baby who knows what they're doing but if you sit them down explain to them when they're like seven months old look you will burn yourself to shit yes you touch this grill that's in your crib please do not be responsible you'd have to let them know but what's the best way to learn yeah i mean it's baby burns themselves i feel like you just get that out of the way like really quick.

"Comfort food what are you going to grill though that's important i don't think you can just do dogs they're no no no now if grandma's passing you do a steak you do a nice steak crisp the outsides just do you don't have to keep it too long in case you have to run as something nice and easy you can do real quick and it also shows respect it's the finest of meats very good i would if i was going to grow when my grandma's in the hospital i would probably do a fancier like a chicken cordon bleu whole yeah that's or favorite favorite i feel like knows really inappropriate time to say i'm so sorry to hear about your much actu grandma her favor wasn't my other one who still it's more of appropriate because although it would be a good shot to my nanna who did pass i don't feel like spaghetti as appropriate now now that's not a good thing you make the meatballs on there for sure but you're talking about smoking and that's that's too much you need to have the travel size barbecue grill that you bring something simple yeah what your next one my next one is i feel like because you're sitting there you're probably watching your kids take lessons something indoor pool you can do the outdoor tailgate why can't we do why can't we bring the fun outdoor stuff inside in the winter you're stuck watching your kids how long are those swimming matches that kids do in high school forever all day long wouldn't it be nice to just put the girl out in the bleacher in it'll be starving and when kid headed out of the pool people underestimate how angry they are they're angry yet first of all so if they had a nice little dog i feel very for dogs dogs kids love hotdogs.

"Sometimes it would become employs like if i saw somebody tailgating outside of their carter and traffic jam like ha ha that makes sense but you just happen to have it i would like to see more inappropriate tailgating spots yeah and i think there's a couple of spots that we could go to that would be really good to do an inappropriate tailgate which people don't expect you because i like to catch people off guard that's my humor's catch people off guard so if i'm tailgating in places that i probably shouldn't be i feel that's really good you do as well so we're going to go through our top five for me and kate of our places that we wish that we could tailgate kate kick us off number one for me gynecologist yeah it's very uncomfortable you wish you had something else going on so you didn't have to pay attention to the stirrups somebody is all up in your grill and i wanna be all up in my grill so i think they sell these tiny little suitcase sized grills that you could just bring anywhere so doctors down there i'm up here making hot dogs you know i feel like that would be a nice a nice thing to do to kill the time because i think i've heard a lot of women complain gynecologist like to stir up some that that big vice grip of or they put inside you kinda cold so i feel like if you have the grill going maybe we'll get some residual heat heat that metal up before they like stick it all away into your ribcage or wherever they put it stick this thing on the grill for a second you wanna hit it up.

"Around often really bad storms so it's hard to see after one real classic that is one thing that i do when i live in texas you forget about how every single after noon there's like a ridiculous thunderstorm that would make kansas shit it's pants every plucking debt to o'clock at disneyworld time to start raining so it's just a mess but it's not the only spot in the world that has bad traffic do you remember seeing there was a video of i think it was china it was outside of hong kong and their traffic was like legitimately forty wayne's wide at a complete standstill that is my nightmare oh it was like now maybe i'm spitballing a little hair but i swear with something like like for fourteen days people here at this giant like chokepoint pretty much yes absolutely insane was some major holiday where pretty much the entire country goes home and it just everybody missed the holiday because they were sitting in traffic and one of the top people i hate is whenever there's insane traffic i hate honcker guy oh yeah nobody can move anywhere honcker guy just shut the fuck up there was they're put on a podcast listen to your podcast and just shut up high hatred is right there it's right there right there right it right there and everywhere else that it lifts yeah a comedian who has since passed but mitch hedberg who used to love said that he wished that cars only came with like three honks per month like all like after that it was worn out and you couldn't your honks will get refreshed the following month but you don't get three i feel like that's a really good rule because at barstool we have new only canoes to must watch videos a year did you know that i've been putting everything i do must watch better problem will you can write you can put it as the tab like whenever you do it on wordpress but if you actually put it up on the blog you get to a year but the way that a lot of us is getting around that posting a blog without the most watch title.

"John hills kitchen working with gordon ramsey which was a great experience for me as well uh and a lot of fun um and you know but it was always still about um you know the craft of cooking and what it really took to be a chef uh and not necessarily the play one on tv you know i never lost that that passion that i have nord that that image that i uh had always wanted to portray as a professional chefs talks about maybe some some recipes this time of year like tailgating or even some holiday recipes that that you have in mind well a lot of a recipe stuff that we do at queen's verity is um you know we're we're sort of uh sending a new path for ourselves as well where you know recipes recipes a piece of paper and you follow that and you know what we're um encouraging all of our customers to do is yeah well provide useful recipes and some some things that you can follow but what we also want people to understand is that uh you know also you know do what you want to do here i know everybody's a little reluctant to experiment with you know a good quality piece of meat and and something that's expensive do you know seafood um but what we really try to do is get people understand um you know ingredients and methods of cooking so this way they can feel like they're creating themselves without actually following a recipe uh you know this time of year for thanksgiving we put out a a great one pot chicken soup recipe because we believe that there has to be a convenience um in cooking at home to win.

"Uh and you know that that those are my credentials as far as tailgating but the main thing i would say is that tailgating comes down to one thing and that is in my opinion and that's fried chicken house i i don't know how you feel about wow fried chicken fried ratio you write in on possibly they're the most crucial element loius you a couple of questions before we get to some of you know the most important elements of the successful tailgate now you mentioned a whole slew of acc schools when i was very glad to hear you confirm 'cause i was kinda guessing at it that there are a bunch of sec schools are on your resume as well yes so in the very first place is there a difference did you experience the difference between the way that the sec fares approach their tail tailgates and the way the acc that the acc historically not a great football conference right they had to assimilate miami to try and create a little bit of florida missy relieve egg same thing with florida state right they at whooped up both those schools just to establish little football legitimacy that happened in my lifetime mother let tell me did you is there a difference between acc tailgating an s e c tailgate so let's do a case analysis by the cell let's do clemson south carolina right so we get to places we have clemson south carolina we have columbia south carolina which is the fifteenth colombia that has university that's in the sec they see the big whatever it is but so colombia is south carolina it's williams brice stadium uh it's very similar to very akin to east carolina regular don't know which is in greenville north carolina which is.
