Let's talk about the snails What can you tell us about the rosy wolf snail and what it did to the other snail populations into eighty or the rosie will snail is from the southern part of the united states in the nineteen seventies nineteen eighty s. It was used as a biological control agent to control for other snails that have become invasive in the pacific islands and so that's why was introduced and so what has happened. Is that unfortunately it got out and started evening everything else. Not just the the snails. It was brought in to control for but it was eating. Its way through everything even Native land snails. And so this is a Ah predator that can grow up to fit right in the palm of your hand it basically lives up to. Its name is kind of like a wolf..

But if you listen to Chris Bennett say, um what he said that you know, there's only x amount that they would take. You know, it'll be five figures. That you can win, you know, So let's say, I mean, I don't think you could bet more than $1000 that he would come to Denver. That's just my opinion. Um, but what's interesting is Aaron Rodgers Makes 35 million this year. What's he gonna bet that's going to change now? He might tell his next door neighbor Ham going to Denver? Yeah, and the next door neighbor could put 500 bucks on it. But I'm sure Aaron Rodgers, next door neighbor probably has as much money as he does, or, you know, Yeah. "This little thing that makes your air cooled curfew fast as fuck one. Fifty air cooled would be dude. Change the game. Yeah imagine a plus one fifty on an air cooled Turbo Magic. Fill on that air. Unlike a on a fucking nine thirty that'd be the J. Nia would kind of I wanNA use the word fix. It might get in a little bit. Maybe a little bit. What would also change the driving experience? But I don't think it would. I don't think it would ruin it. You know I want. I definitely want to try one if someone if they build one spy build and sell enough of them. Obviously the price goes down supply and demand and then they can start bolting. It's other stuff or they chose Porsche because they like Porsche. And because people modify their cars and because people are used to spending a lotta money on Nina's a yard as there's not as many as there are nine eleven right That's cool so but they said they hoped that this is a a universally adaptable system. That they could put in in all kinds of stuff and they said that they are working on the next round of these to expand out of Porsche because like I said this covers all oh nine and up. Porsche. Sports Cars. Wow boxster nine. Eleven all variants so That's a lot of cars. Actually the value. Isn't you know putting into base boxster obviously is not where the value is. But you know there's there's maybe value somewhere else but if they could expand You know we we had some off the record discussions about possible other platforms. Some of which sounded incredibly interesting and appealing. So I think it's really cool that they're just companies doing this kind of stuff with this new technology you know. We're on this possible new frontier of electric vacation and all that and I have driven those tests Swab cars and you've driven stuff like this and it's just cool that people are instead of everyone just going. Oh I don't like it going this direction. I wish it wasn't going. Well what can we do that? Yeah and they can find some really cool shit to do and I really. I think the most impressive thing about this kit. It seamlessly integrated. I mean. You don't other than us. You know you see that thing. That looks like a stereo amp. That's the motor controller. You see that on the back deck. It's it's it's they're intentionally but you could hide that if you didn't want to show it at all it would be very easy to put something over it and hide it but other than that thing being there. There's nothing on the car that she can see inside or out the it come. There's an APP on your phone. That has the little gauge the gauges in the mode controller But you're not you're not touching anything else and I think there's also if you bought this system and put it in your career s right now and you sold your career as a GT three you could uninstall this and put it from one car to the other and you haven't touched either car and the car doesn't remember it was there because he never knew it. Was there in the first place so clever if you wanted more horsepower. But she won't. That's it. Imagine that fucking thing Bro. Nine hundred horsepower in that with the hybrid system in there. That's cool as hell. Whoa how that is fast Kelly mosques. They don't really fuck around him guys. What is interesting is it's got a lot of ground clearance. Like street tired. No Tarmac Rally Star. Go down a picture of it next to the safari eighties car while it's so big ferry. So huge is your back in a cold up for the safari rally. You think we. It's in June. Yeah I think it'd be fun. Yeah yeah gotTA gotTa get one of these racks for this for spare tire. Yeah we do but Yes Safari southwest rally. We're going to be driving my nine eleven from Phoenix to Las Vegas off road with eleven other Safari nine eleven's. How amazing are is that? It's like I don't know four hundred miles. Maybe five hundred miles did ask him if you read We scouted it. I didn't look at the what's APP thread because it was long as fuck because I wasn't looking at my phone from out of town like food. Yeah but I'm very excited for me if we're on the highways three hundred miles so bogged. We're not going straight line at. Yeah that's going to be awesome. Oh my God back. Mine's very tight. After the trip I I was I did so well on the trip in terms of I didn't wear shoes for a week and my knees and feet and all that stuff for fighting back was fine until the very end when I heard my suitcase onto the dock and like an so. I've had to massages and two rounds of PT. Since I've been back and I'd just fucking first workout since. Oh Shit. Yeah I fucked myself on the various stay fuck myself on the first day we were. We got to the airport. I've been feeling good lately and I grabbed my suitcase and Sarah's out of the back just to to know nine that others gonNA carry him from there to the curb and just picked them up and it just felt a little something start to go down the left side of my my kind of like upper waste and I was like did I just displaced my disc on the at the airport and heading to vacation like a dumb fuck. It had not put. Oh my God Bromley wax is is when you're otherwise healthy. Really have to put your pride aside and say I shouldn't be carrying that. Yes socks hardest part Manhattan and I each had big suitcases because we brought like snorkeling gear. And all you know all his here on a boat for week a lot of Shit and My suitcase was like fifty two pounds or something like that. Fifty three pounds and that's I literally under doctor's orders specifically to not pick up anything over fifty not specifically maybe not to hurl giant suitcase. The hammer throw asshole like Peter Griffin just lift with your back and jerking motion. Yeah basically I've seen on the roof and I was like yeah I shouldn't do any flips until like the last day of the trip and then I was going to jump off when I saw like someone you had. A camera is like well. I guess we'll do a flip now so dumb though burnout cars and coffee. Isn't that an iphone hundred percent? Is that someone's some scream yellow..

"It's just me and Zach on the entire podcast. It's the smoking higher. Podcast it's Wednesday. It's not our first show back from vacation but Zach and I are here. We went on a focus. Yoenis We went to Tahiti. It's the fucking Shit. It's the best place to shed strongly recommend I really only WANNA answer super chat questions tonight about sailing into he'd be so tonight's probably not the night to ask if what you can buy for twenty thousand dollars but can you turn up my headphones little And I got back. You know we got back on Sunday. a little more and Perfect and fuck me. My Monday was difficult. You know we did this show with Syria and thank God for Serio. Thank God this person who I never met before was as funny as Spike says he was and he put on a fucking great show and I texted him later. I had a I had just had a I had so I I had a shit storm at the construction site that I come back to. We'll we'll talk about later. I now know what the term taking it in the front and the back literally we can talk about it later but I had. I had a shit storm. That second site had to record a podcast ten. Am Monday morning after getting back from vacation and then immediately drive to bills to drive the von In aftermarket hybrid nine eleven so I had to like and no one should feel bad for me but I just want to explain and Serio. I apologize to him via text later that like I was not at my best while producing the show but I really enjoyed his company and I want him to come back and do it again and it was fucking amazing show and he said it's no worries. You know it's some sometimes. It's everyone's turned Dr struggle bus and he's like I've been there I get it and so But and that that they bled over a little bit. The video we made with avant in The aftermarket hybrid thing the tech. Walk around video. I they were sweet and the car was amazing. It really interesting. Driving video is fine but I just was like off. It was. It was the first day back from a long. I had some like camera. Fuck ups I had to do a couple things twice like I definitely like forgot how to use my equipment. I know you said you'll edit the walk around. It was shit I mean it was like I. It does the job of explaining what the car is. But like I just I just didn't do a good job for what I'm capable of doing right in in a in a in a sound producing sense or in like hosting sense but as Syria said it was my turn to drive the struggle bus And if that's the balance one day drive in the struggle bus versus seven days. Captaining a forty five foot fucking catamaran around Tahiti. Well that's that's just life. Isn't it hundred percent worth it and worth it? Welcome back to work Can I just recommend briefly that everybody go to Tahiti but not at once police space it out? Where do we even start with this trip? I don't know it's it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been like lives up to all of the postcards. Promo photos in like any marketing. You see like it. Doesn't you get there and you're like has this place been retouched filter It's it's like. How is there no filter? What is the filter? You look at the colors of things and you go. I don't understand how the same water like we have water. We HAVE OCEAN WATER HERE. Like why is why do colors exist there? That don't exist anywhere else. And it's just the most extraordinary Palette of rich color. The entire ocean is eighty plus degrees there the whole ocean. Some of it's like ninety dude. Some of it is hot. Tub Tot like there were parts of the ocean up that beach right there. There's parts of the ocean right like near the beach waters the water's at ninety five. Maybe more than more than that degree. Super Hot This pictures actress pulled up. Just show some layers. No no like three different distinct colors of ocean none of which I thought existed thousand feet within about a quarter mile east starting to approaching this. Put your sunglasses on taking them off looking through the like. This doesn't make any sense right. So this okay so back to back it up a little bit this trip. We went to Thailand a couple of years ago. And you can actually go back. I reviewed the boat. We started that started the the one week series of votes. I reviewed which is a great scam made no money but I got out on a lot of fun boats so we chartered a boat. I went to sailing camp And I am a captain I don't know if I could be a commercial captain but I can certainly am captain enough to take out Charter boats and we've been doing it for some time. And we had such a good time in Tahiti skiing Thailand a couple years ago that it was always like well. Where's the next place and my wife was always talking about? Tahiti and then the The Bulgarians the borrowed the Lexus. Adventure Hollick son Instagram. They put fifteen thousand miles on the million mile. Alexis in six months drove all over the US. They're like travel bloggers. All they do is travel there. Instagram is ill adventure adventure. Hollick's with an x love him and Anton great couple. I asked them like what's the best thing you guys have ever done. And they said sailing yacht into Hiti is the best trip they've ever taken so which confirmed it. So we chartered the boat from a place called the moorings which I've chartered a from a few times now super pro outfit. We paid a little extra to have a brand new boat rather than one that was like three or four years old which would have been cheaper worth it by the way. A hundred percent worth it. 'cause incrementally it was not that much different and You know I'm able to bear boat so I can. I can captain and I have. I have other peoples. Zach is is great on anchoring and helping with sailing and stop and low ropes and walk around the building up Paul off basically. Yeah but like there's I've just been thinking about how much value there is in the skill of being able to captain about because it's really not expensive. I mean it's not that expensive at all the time we spent there and I mean sound dumb the proximity to water. Like when I go to you know I've Gotten Hawaii a couple of times or something like all you're thinking about is okay. I want to go to the beach. How long ago for you for three hours? You get hot you come back to the apartment or your hotel whatever now you might want to go back but you don't WanNa get in the car and you don't WanNa like drive all the way down there and you WanNa get seen car again like you have to kind of figure out how much time you WANNA spend. But when I go to the tropical places like I want to spend all the time in the water as possible looking at fish swimming around just playing having fun in this you get that we wake up in the morning and literally make coffee and then jump in the ocean during the year. You're on up for two after sundown. The best of the best snorkeling the trip was. This is so cool. There's an area like okay. I think we need to talk about the geography of of board. Can you go to the back to Instagram Zach? And pull up the picture I posted. It was just like Google maps of the aisle or better yet. Just pull up fucking Google maps of riot and so the way that Tahiti works. If you've never seen it and go to satellite so we can see the lagoons is. The islands are surrounded by these coral reef barriers. That come right to the surface And if they're like anywhere from like one hundred yards to like a couple hundred yards maybe half a mile offshore and so they they break the swells right. They're very shallow and they break the water. So you've got outside the lagoon and then inside the lagoon and so we're pulling up a picture here so you could actually see physically a white barrier around the This island of rioting which is where we started sailing from the northern end of writer and you can sail a complete lap around this island ends fully inside the lagoon and if you're inside the lagoon. The water is like glass smooth ridiculously clear and compared to sailing on like a a Caribbean island. Where every night you go into a cove up next to the island to anchor. You know away from the open ocean swells when you go to or to Bora Bora Zach. Does it show? It doesn't actually show the mouse you don't anchor next to the island you anchor out on the edge of where the dark water. The deep water becomes Shallow Sandy Shelf and reef and by dropping anchor there. A couple of things happened one right where deep become shallow is always wear. Great Snorkeling is and to. It's super clear. Clear calm water and three rather than being right up against these beautiful islands. You get a far back perspective in view of the islands from your boat. It's the it does he instead of sitting on a hotel where you're looking out the ocean which is gorgeous but you don't get to see like this place. All of these islands. Have huge mountains like former volcanoes? Some of these thousand foot cliffs in the cloud wrap around them in the morning and the vegetation is super lush and green. Like you. Just you don't see all that if if you're just waking up in an AIRBNB even if you stay at one of those like we always went to three islands right riot Which the Polynesian says the cradle of civilization. Like I say that with the voice but really that's what they say basically think that they believe that all Polynesian civilization originated from this island riot riot shares. A lagoon with another island called. Taha where they make vanilla and they make rum really good. Rollocking Dank wrong We bought some room and Really Good Vanilla and so you can. We made a figure eight beginning The North End of retail lapping around clockwise. And then going counterclockwise around to Now there's natural exits in the lagoon to go to the open ocean so you then exit and we went to Bora Bora is the most. Probably the most famous of the Tahitian islands also fucking totally lives up to its reputation. The guys on Taha are all like no. No this is the shit to Ha- because there's too many Torres on Bora Bora too. Many is very relative very true. It wasn't a busy season. I bet if you go there in peak season it probably nuts. Yeah but Bora Bora specifically. It's illegal to drop anchor in Bora Bora. You have to pick up an existing mooring ball and that's to protect the reef and the shelf and all that I think it's a good idea actually thoroughly and there's a bit of a bit of a pay the Piper scam involved to all of it but it's fine. It's not that expensive thirty bucks a day. You've got a meter maid. You GotTa pay the Guy got to pay. The guy just shows up. It's like just shows up and you just got to pay but I mean hey if you sell there on your own boat yeah dollars. Totally thirty dollars so But this in Bora Bora compared to the other islands. The shelf is much more pronounced. It's much bigger and the water as crazy. Clear like in you can even see in the google maps the different shades of blue where the blue goes into the Into the sand If you actually. So here's where all those three D. Yeah Buddy I mean. There's a point where we're seeing three different kinds of like brilliant covered blues at never seen before it was really in like one of them looked like oil painting and it was behind dark blue and then to our left was the light blue because the water was clear to the right you had oil painting to the left are and then in the mid autumn. Exactly it was like it's you can't believe that's an and naturally occurring color. Yeah and even if you have you stay at one of those over water bungalows which did look incredibly dope. You're only getting one view. There we got. We had an over water bungalow that we brought with US thirty dollars on their view thirty not including the cost of course. Ding into the four seasons. Oh Yeah Tim was.

"Thompson has been in examining oral histories the records of Captain Cook and the accomplishments of the Polynesian voyaging society. All to investigate what it can tell us about how we view the world. Today she pieces together the navigation puzzle of sailors and settlers in her book. See People Christina. Welcome thanks for having me. So when when we think of Polynesia talk about how big it is and what it has in common culturally so Polynesia is the area that is inside of this triangle we'll formed by Hawaii in the North New Zealand in the southwest and Easter Island in the southeast. It's an area of about ten million square miles and it smack in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and it happens that all the people who live on the islands in this area which is the island's that people have heard of like Tahiti or saw more or maybe the mark cases they all share a common cultural heritage. They all speak related languages and they have a similar genetic. Ming up no Christina. You say ten million square miles and originally they were not populated by human beings at all so somehow people had to get there and there was no communication. People didn't right. They didn't have metal tools. They didn't have navigational devices that I can imagine. Can you just kind of paint a picture to the best that we can. We're were there caravans of canoes just going out into the unknown C or how did these islands become populated originally well. I think one thing we don't know is how many canoes necessarily sailed together but basically the idea is that you know some thousands of years ago over in what sometimes people call the island nursery Sirri of Southeast Asia in the islands around the Philippines and Indonesia and stuff people developed an outrigger. which is this thing that sticks out from the side of the canoe to keep it balanced to keep it from from tipping over and with the development of the outrigger people started to be able to make some longer distance? Voyages and the canoes the Polynesian sailed in were like Catamaran's they had to halls else and they were stable and they could carry a load of people and animals and so they started making longer and longer voyages. There's some again some thousands of years ago from this western side of the Pacific out further and further and further into the mid Pacific. But it must have been hit or miss because they didn't have maps. They didn't have radar. They didn't know where the islands were if they were islands. Do you think they were just kind of going toward the sunset and hoping to hit land now the sunrise is actually but they obviously looking for islands and the islands are what they call inter visible. You can see one from. I'm the other in the Western Pacific. A lot of them are. There's a big leap when they get past that point and they start to sail out to islands that you can't see so they're probably exploring hiring and looking for them they really were amazing navigators. They weren't sailing blinds. They understood how to go to one place and sail back from that place after. Remember where that place was and things like that. They must have been exploring but we don't really know how they found islands like the end of Hawaii. Which is the islands of Hawaii are very isolated in the North Pacific? How did they find them who knows because we have no written history people? Just build a raft. That was kind of like one of those early outriggers Imagining how they might have done it and just without knowing if they did it prove that they could have done it like those. Expeditions seemed to be part of science right right so the the earliest one was was to Harles kon-tiki raft which he he allowed to drift basically from the coast of South America and ended up in the middle of the Pacific on the tomatoes. And that was an kind of an early experiment in this vain but then in the nineteen seventies in Hawaii some people got together and decided to try and build a true replica vessel so a copy of what they imagined. An ancient Polynesian voyaging canoe would been like and they decided to try and sale it from Hawaii to Tahiti and back again and that was the beginning of what what is really kind of an experimental voyaging movement in Hawaii. And what was that expedition called. The ship was called Hokule'a it Okla has made an around the world voyage now but that was in two thousand sixteen I guess but between Nineteen Seventy in two thousand sixteen they have made voyages absolutely everywhere. They sailed to to Easter to New Zealand. All around the Pacific to the point is to prove that it could be done yet to show the voyaging capacity of the Polynesians basically to show that non instrumental. Navigation vacation is really a thing and that people can go very long distances using it. You know that it's a real technique. You said they sailed it. Is it drifting with the wind and the tides is it with a sale or is it paddling they have a sale. They have a steering paddle but they sail. What were the very first contact with European society like in the Polynesian World? Some of them were violent. Some of them were not. We don't have any idea what the markes ins thought of men Donya when he arrived Zeppelin we know record of it and what I mean. There's the record of the Spanish but we don't really know for sure what archaisms thought There was a little bit of that I think. In some cases there it was all in some cases there was fear in some cases. There was something that you might call. Greed greed Westerners. No on the part of the I mean I. I think that a lot of islanders actually looked at these ships once they realized kind of what was going on and who these people were they actually wanted the ships. There are definitely stories of ambushes. Did they have some kind of A religious context again in the case of the conquistadors from Spain I mean in their religion I understand. It was on this certain year. A man on a horse you know was going to come and on that certain year the man on the horse with the beard came just like their scripture said and they disfigured this must be divided and they laid down their weapons and was there any kind of dimension of that local cultural religion with the arrival of the first Europeans pins or was it the opposite The story of Cook's arrival in Hawaii is kind of like that story that he arrived during a festival in he seemed to be the embodiment of the deity. Who was being celebrated in the Festival because switches to happen that he arrived at that time? I think that that added to the confusion of cooks experience. AGREEANCE cook was killed in Hawaii. That was where he died. And it was not long after this encounter during this festival period and I think it added to sort of chaos and confusion that he had Iraq during that a period. This is travel with. Rick Steves talking with Christina Thompson. Her book is see people the Puzzle of Polynesia and we're talking about early explorers of the Pacific both before the Europeans arrived and after so captain cook arrived and they thought. Oh It's a festival in here comes God and then things went sour and they killed killed them. Tell us a little more about that. So what happened. Is that Cook. He went up north to Alaska and then or the Northwest Pacific and then he came down and when he came down he was looking for a place to rest his crew and he sort of hit the island of Maui and then he went east so he sailed all the way around the big island before he found a place to come to rest his crew and that meant that he was sailing in his ship all the way slowly because against the wind all the way around the big island for quite a while and so when he arrived the legend of Lono the God that he sort of seemed to be representing was that Leno passed around the island in the same. I'm way he was represented as carrying a staff with White Tapa cloth on it which is sort of like the the ship to mass in their sales so just a lot of things lined up kind of strangely initially and then what happened was he. They went through all this festival these festivals and celebrations and then Cook sailed away and that should have been the end of it he should have just sailed away that would be fine but his mast broke just offshore and he had to return and when he returned he wasn't supposed to return according to the legends. He wasn't supposed to come back until the next year. So people were confused by that and then there was an altercation. He died in the clash not long after he returned.
Get A Glimpse: Total Solar Eclipse Set To Pass Over South Pacific, South America
"Will next Tuesday, there will be a total solar eclipse, but it won't be visible in the US, only South America and some regions in the Pacific. Paul Maili will be at sea to watch. He's an astronomer who hosts guided eclipse, tours with the ring of fire expeditions. I spoke with him just before he departed from Tahiti yesterday. I have a group of one hundred and forty six people were boarding, the Windstar win spirit. And we're headed for an area of about two hundred and fifty kilometers, southeast of a small atoll, call off awry, which is about five days journey from Tahiti by ship, and you're going to be in the path of totality. Right. For the eclipse, that's our plan. Okay. And I assume in that part of the world at this time of year, you're not going to have to deal with any possible cloud, cover oil, you never. This is a tropical area. So, yeah, we'll probably have to deal with CS and cloud cover to some extent. And because there are no reporting stations in that area were having to take our chances using whether models and satellite real time data, and who, who are these people that are willing to travel all the way across the globe to see an eclipse, many of them are experienced clip tracers, but predominantly the majority right now or excited enough after the big eclipse, and the United States in August the twenty seventeen so this will be their second eclipse.

So I'm saved by the bell can't really get to too in depth, but high level it looks like it's they're saying it's a biological occurrence where the output of the system amplifies the system or in other words, two wrongs make a wrongdoer or the pull the rice caps melting and carbon dioxide leaking to the atmosphere will then in turn result in more of the surface being a dark color because the ocean stark and the polar ice caps are late and that dark color absorbs more of the solar energy from the sun heating up the earth's temperature which in turn it's more of the melts. More the caps which in turn leads to more surface area being dark, which in turn leads the temperature the earth rising. I see what you're saying. He back loop. Just call it consequences. Yeah. "Columbus ranking number forty seven on the New York Times list of travel destinations. Here's who came in behind us. Okay. For some reason the times decided to list fifty to Columbus came in at forty seven number forty eight is I think I'm saying this Plumpton Bulgaria forty nine was vase, Switzerland. If I'm pronouncing these right fifty was Qadis Spain or cat is Spain. Fifty one. L que- valley in Chile. And fifty two was Tahiti. So they're saying that Columbus is a better test an edge ranks higher than Tahiti. And again, I'm not knocking on our city. I just I'm a little bit perplexed. I'm scratching my head. Did fifty two because it was supposed to be like a new destination each week of the year. Oh, okay. Perf makes perfect sense. And then they're saying that, you know, Columbus is the American city of the future as a revitalized riverfront booming downtown we have that. But I don't know. Would you really risk? I mean, would you really rather go experience that then to Hedy or go into Chile or Spain or Switzerland or Bulgaria all which came in behind us, Brian? Thanks for calling six ten WTVN. What would be your selling point for Columbus, Ohio, and you can't use Buckeye football? Well, other than the usual suspects being the blue jackets off crew. But you the pop into my mind are b. Because we have a diverse population. I'm telling you right now. All right page. Appreciate it. Let's see if we can get Tony on here. Real quick to Tony. What would be your selling point for Columbus, Ohio? Well, I did not recommended us until I actually went there a guy was working with he was from California Mexican guy, and he got opportunity to go to mock military museum. I'm like it's kind of small plays. And I went to a free open house man, if you're in the military stuff or just history. It has talk show, of course, zoo man, the Arzew it's like one of the only tax levies I've ever voted for. And you know, we have a gym there. Tony excellent suggestions, especially with Mott's military museum. I don't live that far from there. And I have yet to get their shame on me. Because I always I I usually spend more time going to. Over in Fairfield. The was the air force museum, or or you know, that thing is so fabulous over there. But yeah. Matz, completely completely slipped my mind. King Salman has proposal to restructure kingdom's intelligence services after Khashoggi killing

President Trump says business dealings with Tahiti Arabia will need to be. Considered as the US plans. A response to kashogi of the things we can do, but I would certainly make that recommendation to congress, but I will very much listen to what congress has to say this week. The president said if he learned that the Saudis were responsible for kashogi is death. The US would respond severely. The Justice Department's charged a Russian national with attempting to interfere the upcoming midterm elections. The president commenting on a large group of migrants from Central America who are trying to reach the US being stopped as of this moment by Mexico. So we appreciate very much what Mexico's done. But as of this moment, you see what's happening. It's being he says he'll send in the US military to close down the southern border. "That's what I thought that in the Caribbean, they go from the Caribbean Tahiti, which is like French Polynesia every four borough cool. The bright. Yeah, that's pretty anyways. Our fifth and final story is just about Bethany. Dennis g tweeted last night for the first time it's hard to breathe, and I appreciate you giving me the space and support to try to do so. It's excruciating sudden death is no closure and constant questions and memories. Our relationship is current, so it's painfully raw trying to stay healthy and move through it with tears and closed with tears and close friends. XM love her. My heart breaks for her. This is the saddest thing and watching the reunion now it's like she already was in such odd and it's like things got so much like you think. That was bad things so much worse. So I didn't listen. But someone did a whole recap of an AJ Benza podcast. I saw an AG Benza said that Bethany is really close in custody of her kid. And if that's true, I will not be okay, but like it could not be sure because I don't know had, but he's close. I feel like all in place like just say that I agree. Let's see him having police friends. I'm like really distraught over Bethany and the washing the reunion has been like really hard for me because I can't even put into words white, so upsetting. And like, I think the most in-depth we've ever gone, which is our episode recap of before the boat, which still rings true everything we said I stand by, but like just going in on it like I can't to render his first of all the hair. Oh my God. I applaud yet. Giovanni, Giovanni, honestly, this is some of the most incredible press for job on ABC's people that are all over New Yorker to screaming. Giovanni, literally saw woman in shimmery dress when I was. I was like, Giovanni, right? It's just this too much going on in the winds. Absence is really felt and like sonya's not enough for bet like so most working overtime to defend Bethany, but they needed one more like heavy hitter to have Bethany badly when Ramona just goes you and your fake tits. What's the fuck is not like. And he's getting a lot of shit for being very pro Bethany, but here's what he said. And I'm sorry for repeating myself. There were two instances where Andy intervened. And people are saying that he's now crossing the line until like taking sides. But when they were saying terrible things about Bethany, being an opportunist filming at bobby's arms fan, we jumped in. No, he said another. I'm glad we saw. He said Jill reached out to us and asked us to fill the funeral, and we happily did so that he would never show up to a funeral with cameras, so that's can put everyone in their place. And that's not taking Bethany side. That's just stating facts. That helped prove that these point, right. But it's true. But then he was a little bias when Ramona was like, well, then you're talking to her outside with cameras on, and he was like, good, I'm glad you did. I wanted to see that, but that was you had to interview out with subjective. That's true. Good point. But I always said she Biji every couple years something. So terrible is said or is done at a reunion. And Andy have to intervene with Faye draw, basically accusing. Candy, handy of date rape like that was so atrocious, like Andy did tickets at some point. Like when things and like what's going on with Bethany is so unfair so unjust and so emotional that like I don't blame Andy for taking a little bit of aside for a moment. You know what I mean? No, I totally agree. And then the second time he intervened when he was like, look. And that's true. And as you bet that he has to do with the fact that literally she couldn't fucking talk. She didn't say like more than a minute of sentence in in In the region. the union last night Tinsley visiting Sony didn't say anything. It was just Carol Ramona and Arinda screaming, screaming, screaming, they think if they say a million things thrown up shit at the wall and don't Bethany speak. People are gonna think that they're good people, but they're not Bethany, looked amazing going up do and the dress like, I'm not a big fan, but only she looked amid I, this is the best she's ever looked. Sony looks incredible to on my God..
