In a very short period of time how to program and many other thinks and i got actually fascinated by how efficient teaching and learning can be And how much of an impact. It could have and i also got to teach a lot and train people in various places them in a program called israel challenge and i also get to lead a security academy checkpoint and to train a lot of people in many places and then i got to see them many times when they succeeded and also when they struggle when they get into new positions and they always shared with me the experience of on boarding at i to their new jobs and being thrown into the deep end of the pool. People telling them okay. You need to get going really fast. Learn a lot really fast and ever since then. I always had that in mind that someone needs to tackle that pain of people trying to get familiar with code bases really fast and really efficiently.

Harry Yeff: Capturing the Uniqueness of Voice Through Voice-Based Sculptures

"Let's get into that a little bit with regards like some of the work that you're doing to actually represent the human voice and its uniqueness. I think this is again. This is a this is an exclusive. Look right now in terms of like how you doing it. But when we i chatted and shared some of this with me i it just. It was stunning quite frankly And it just showed the beauty. I think of the human voice and also the uniqueness. An a bit like a snowflake. There's no two that are like. I think this is really cool. So why don't we pull that up and let's I'll let you tee it up. If you want to take some more before we pull it up here. Yeah i will say one more thing. So when i sites move away from music and just voice in a traditional sense. What i realize is that many people find it all to acknowledge and take time to appreciate the uniqueness of the voice and the function of the houses as a system and its sewing tech world so our relationships a working relationship so loving relationships but also off sense of self so this very interesting phenomenon where you take the times with manager voice and you think about its role. There's this reinforcement of your own identity and that narrative plate into quite a few of tech based projects whether it was creating official twin which i could perform with a second self but then continuations of that voice sculptures so things systems that integrate voice states into full and color. So my previous collaborations have led to a brand new project. Who voice gyms which really glazed on this narrative that there were opportunities for voice centered design and especially with the explosion of the nfc space and myself being in the digital intech off space for a long time. This project is about synthesizing worthies experiences into something very tangible and challenging value and challenging our ideas of what is wasted digital preciousness. How can we have a tech based project that tackles those things but also reminds us of the beauty of avoids

Driving A Successful Launch for Conversational Actions with Google's Mike Bifulco

"Imagine this you're working on a team. That's building a game for actions on google. You're getting to the point in the development process where you can see the light at the end of the tunnel that first releases coming well with any luck. You're a member of a savvy team that has done the work ahead of time to think about marketing plan. You know it's critical to understand your audience and have a plan to reach them long before your app hits the virtual shelves in addition to that. You've worked with your team to define some metrics for success so that you know whether or not you're marketing campaigns are doing a good job of reaching the audience. You're looking for when it comes to putting together a marketing plan. I'm pretty fond of this quote. A design isn't finished until using it. When you're wearing marketers hat your goal is to bring a compelling message to that somebody and to get them to tryout. You're cool new game. We'll break our marketing. Plan down into a few steps first off. Let's talk about the building blocks of strategic marketing. If you're watching is because you're a developer remember. This stuff is good to know no matter what having broad understanding of your team's goals for launch can only help you point towards success when thinking about how to market your game you want to assemble a coalition of team members with a broad range of skills. Generally this cross functional team may include participation from the following groups public relations creative leads copywriting engineering and social media management. There's a few key activities you'll want to think about when developing your strategy you want to get to a shared understanding of your target audience evaluate your marketing channels and to think about measures of success. So that you can track how well your marketing activities are working defining. Your target audience should be based on the objective of your action specifically determine if you're trying to reach existing users or new users often building an action is a way to attract new customers thanks to the buzzer. This generates npr however given the nascent stage voici. In the average consumer's life. It's best to start with actions that target existing users and then tackle use cases that drive new user growth. Once you've learned more about how your existing users prefer to engage with your brand via voice for example. A game designed around managing a fictional sports team might initially target. Gamers are sports fans later. They can expand their audience to encourage new players outside of that core audience to try the game as you create your channel plan. Think about how your promotion pits in with your brands. Ecosystem and customer touch points. Remember that it's important to have a consistent and cross channel strategy look to wherever user traffic is greatest to highlight your actions availability

"Traditional sailing. Races can conjure up stayed images of white cotton sales and shiny polished teak but over the last decade modern racing yachts have turned the cop into an extreme sport. They have these wing like sales that are the size of jumbo jet wings and they tip or heel as it's called in sailing what looks like impossible angles towards the water nowadays. The huge yachts actually lift up out of the water and seemed to fly on things called hydrofoils ripping down with both boats up on the blood. An amazing start to this court. Shrink hydrofoils like underwater wing. I mean just like the wing of an airplane that sticks out to either side mounted on a stick that comes down below the boat and then as the boat goes faster the the wing generates lift in it picks. But i think it is significant a big picture that g seven is an attempt by the west to show that they can deliver full the developing world that they can show leadership and talk about voting. Sometimes there's real concern in some of the western capitals china and russia in particular using vaccine's as a way of extending their influence into the developing world offering jobs with strings attached as anthony blinken. Believe have to expose false. The narrative decrees of dictators can match the speed and scale. The twenty-first challenges. You know. Artists Create E-Waste 'Mount Recyclemore' for G7

"Prepared to meet in Cornwall in southwest England, a huge sculpture of their heads in the style of Mount Rushmore in the U. S has been built close to where they're staying. Named. Mount Recycle more. It hopes to highlight the environmental damage caused by throwing away electronic devices. Our reporter. Steffi Apprentice has more. It's one of America's most iconic monuments. The Mount Rushmore National Memorial features the heads of four U. S presidents carved into the rock face in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Now ahead of the G seven meeting and looming more than two stories high. The faces of Boris Johnson, Emmanuel Macron, Joe Biden and Angela Merkel stare out across the Cornish landscape constructed entirely of bits of metal circuit boards, TV screens and smartphones. "Our conversation with nile abboud who who is the host of axios today a longtime journalist knight wallace fellow and the host of the asian american journalists associations program. Aap j. at this time so we had a fantastic conversation with her. And we're not gonna wait another second to share it with you mayo. We are so grateful that you're joining us today. And so interested in talking with you about the new world that we're all occupying and how to do news under the biden administration so we wanted to kick off just by asking you as someone who does a daily news show. How different do things feel post. Let's not even say january because january was its own situation but like post february. How different do things feel to you than maybe september of last year. Well hi and thank you so much for having me. That's a great question. And i feel like it's almost too soon for me to answer that because i just feel like it's been i mean. I've been a journalist for a long time. So i've been a journalist for twenty years and i feel like the past. Two years to four years have felt like a decade right. So i think that it's really hard to think about it. Not being a crazy news cycle. Because we've gotten so used to it. I will say things definitely seem like they have settled into more stability. But i feel like the news. Is that like. There's always something you know. There's always like a cargo ship getting stuck in the suez canal. Maybe putting us on the brink of another global economic collapse know so. I think there's always something. I just think the volume at which we have been. I think we've just been going at two hundred percent in so many ways for such a long time that it's hard to slow down. I will say for certainly like my colleagues who who run websites have noticed like a difference like they're certainly seeing like a traffic from the trump bump. We're not seeing that on my podcast. We are not seeing our audience. Numbers drop off at all. And i don't know how much of that is. I think just inherent in my mind. I think it's a lot to do with the way people listen to podcasts. I think their habits and also. I think that's sort of like one of the selling points in like one of the things that makes my guess attractive. It's ten minutes and that's a big part of the equation. Is you can have ten minutes with us in still come away. We hope pretty well informed about a few things that are going on. Well i think part of the issue is it's not just the difference between administrations. It's the changes in the media. Environment accelerated by cove. It right. it feels like we're not only in a new administration. We're in a new media environment. I mean i know that you made a career change recently. And i wonder how you see that changing landscape like where do you see that particularly manifesting when it comes to news and political coverage. I think that journalism has also been equally in upheaval for my entire career. So i have never. I i will say like i think i'm in a better place than people who are just starting out and people who are just starting out in the past couple of years because people who started like in two thousand seven which was when i was in newspapers and the bottom fell out. So i think that there's a cyclical nature to the news industry and unfortunately it seems for american news media. I think a lot of that is really difficult from a financial standpoint right now. I do think that there are really important. Bright spots and i think one of the blind spots of the media and putting that in air quotes is this bias towards always talking about the negative. And so like i think if you look at numbers of audiences there are local and hyper local news sites. That are doing very well. My company actually is doing great. We have just launched a lot of local sites. Because we're really hoping that we can make a difference in the local space as someone who's paid a lot of attention to this in the past couple of years. I love local news. That's where i got my start at the miami herald you know. I'm a native miami. And i think it's really important for cities to have really vibrant local news. I think that it where we are now with. The pandemic is an acceleration of a lot of things that we're all seeing and i think that on the one hand of really difficult business climate for some organizations but on the other hand i see opportunity for others for people who are willing to innovate for people who are really creating an audience in an authentic way. I think there's a lot of room for growth. Can you help us orient ourselves as news consumers to what's happened financially because you have so much experience doing local news. Newspapers public radio. And now you're at axios. I would love for you to just give us a high level. How did we get here in terms of where journalism is today. We'll tell you why. I think we got here so i don't know their journalism professors and people who studied this but i will say someone who started as a business reporter. I have paid a lot of attention to it. And frankly that it's been why i have pivoted. That is why. I left newspapers in went into public radio. Because i wanted. I wanted to stay journalists. And i was also sort of starting to fall in love with audio in that media so it worked out really well for me but i've had to pivot my career. I think the reason. I have been a journalist for two decades because i've evolved. I think most american newspapers never really forced their audience to pay what the newspaper cost and they depend on advertising and then the internet came in right and so i think that there's just sort of like all of these waves of technology that have changed things but i think the biggest the biggest thing that we may be non news consumers don't think about is news organizations with the internet and social media. Our whole role has shifted like we've become aggregated sweet become fact checkers but we are no longer rod casting out the news like that doesn't really happen anymore like it's a much more. Cyclical it's a much more integrated. I don't even know if it's like a circle just think it's sort of just like a back and forth between the way. That information is being exchanged so i think just the and i think that leads us to where we are now where we are incredibly divided in terms of the type of media that we're consuming and there are very few news outlets that are listened to by people across the political spectrum. And so i think. And i think that polarization that's happened across. Society has certainly happened at an accelerated pace in news organizations. So i think if your local newspaper like right. That's how i would think about it like the legacy airlines like i think of like a newspaper like delta or american airlines like they had all these really expensive costs and it costs a lot to do what did and if you think about what. They were producing. Just the fact that they're delivering paper to you everyday and it costs. What like twenty five cents or like three dollars. That's the cost of the paper. And when you do that sort of like you think about that equation. Like how do they get their money. Do they get it from advertisers. Do they get it from their consumers and then you shift from the for profit model. Which is that's kind of where that that revenue comes from to nonprofit and public radio stations and then you also see that most public radio stations. First of all. I should say very few public. Radio stations have a majority funding from the government. It's basic leave like most and especially the larger the public and the stations that do get a lot of cpi which is quote unquote the government funding public. Radio they are the smallest most rural public radio stations in the country. The biggest stations. Like where i worked like. Wbz in chicago get. I think it was like two percent of their funding comes from government sources and that kept going down and down as like state sources dried up most of the funding like most public radio stations. Like it'll be something like fifty percent or a little bit more. A little less comes from membership and from people giving money then..

And i grabbed the lead of the toilet seat and lifted up and right there right at the level of the toilet seat. Like maybe an answer to below is a gigantic. Their face looking right back up at me. It was felt like just a single like puncture. Maybe it wasn't even a bite like it might have been swipe with his claw. Potentially i mean. I'm definitely gonna look down in the next time. That's a woman who used an outhouse in the woods and it turns out there was a bear down in the toilet. Only assume that came out out of the woods came from below. It would take a while for your mind to like grab you know it would see it recognized. It's a bear but the way that you know just putting it all together it'd be jarring. You would not expect. That is what i'm saying. Tell you what. I'm not husband. My wife says honey. There's a bear in the toilet. I'm thinking oh man that's gonna take all day saturday. "On the stage to be considered a presidential candidate. I mean look you're right. What happens is media hype develops you know you've got a guy who some chose another great example of that no please. Yeah i mean people people think oh. Here's a guy who's reasonably good looking. He can string together. A sentence in a coherent thought every once in a while Yeah let's make this guy president and by the way you know. Newsom has a tremendous amount of personal wealth. And i think that contributes to the conversation as well anytime you've got someone who gets into politics who's reasonably successful at some level and also has a lot of cash they think. Oh here's someone who could be president and really what it goes to is. We need to do a much better job of evaluating what our leaders are not doing. Absolutely if if if newsom had not been confronted with crisis. He could've skated right through. And who knows he may have been a leading candidate for the president and similarly what what. What crisis does it forces us to. Test our leaders and it forces us to see who can lead and who can't and newsom has failed miserably at that task. And he's not the only one by the way andrew cuomo. We've talked about a few of the other governors have done a horrible job We really are able to see those who succeed. And those who fail in a very real way and it's an awful thing because people have suffered through this crisis but it does allow us to see who can lead. And who can't and. And i think that very very important part of this whole episode. We need to take from it. Well now. i'm going to have to fistfight jack during the commercials for bringing this up. But i'm ready to do it. I've been reading about rhonda santa's in florida the flower. He's done a really good job. Speaking of governors and people are starting to buzz about him and twenty twenty for any early take the knows act is is he. One of those golden boys about turned rusty. Or what do you think. I don't know him. well. I followed what he's done in florida and answer is he's. He's tried to follow what the scientists told him but also his his instincts about what the state needs what the state's kids needs and what the state's businesses need and they've tried to balance between you know. Try being safe. Keeping people safe but also trying to get florida reopened and i think buying large. He's done a pretty good job. You know there have been some hiccups. But you know that's one of those things where i'm sure governor santa's would say look look at my record. Look at my record to determine if i'm ready to lead or not and that's something. I wish more politicians would say. Take a look at my record. Not just the good parts. But but all of it and make a decision based on everything. I've done do you think i'm worthy of leading or not and you know what not. Everything's gonna be good. But i'll bet you if you look at rhonda santa's record and you compare it to what gavin newsom are. Andrew cuomo done. Rhonda comes out pretty favorably. You know so. I'll take all take that bet any day of the week. It's faint praise but that might be the appropriate phrases. We look for future leaders lot. He david diane. Steffi fellow american public policy studies at the hoover institution host of the podcast crossing. Lines with lonnie jen. He thanks a million. Always great to talk with you thanks. I'm glad i brought any of that stuff up. Some really interesting takes on that. Oh yeah he's always. Just terrific. Are we maturing as a society to a point where maybe we can look past the will. They look good on tv. Have a clever line. So maybe they should be the most powerful person in the world based on that the voters. Uh maybe a two-thirds wit not a half with god. He's he's absolutely right. If there hadn't been a crisis everything cruises along economies decent blah blah blah. Normal stories are in the news gavin easily cruises to top tier discussion among democratic candidates. Right just based on beto like adoration from the media. Yeah didn't have to do anything just stood there and looked pretty or creepy depending on who. Yes and now. He's going to get recalled governor and he's polit political career is over. Yeah yeah you know what would be interesting. Well it will be interesting to follow is california is so utterly corrupt ungovernable and mobbed up in one party and the rest of it. I don't know if if god almighty himself could be the Successful governor of california. It may just be too big and messy incorrupt i. I'm i'm still amazed. I know you grow up with corrupt politics. So you're you're not surprised by it but that andrew cuomo could in the modern era where people leak phone calls and texts in all kinds of stuff like that still call people in threaten them just flat out threaten them and get away with it. Yeah i will end your career hundred percent. It's wild yeah. His time is up to good. Thank god in the whole cuomo family would sound like yeah. They don't teach you this kid but government is every bit as much forget about it. It is as it is armed. Bill and i'm only oh bill you know it's both again about it Looks like we're getting back into the iran deal the way. I wanna talk about that on a friday island. Gotta read you this this piece that i i read from a young black man about black history month. And what's wrong with it. We've got a woman that was attacked by a bear while sitting on a toilet. I mean that's a good story. No it was the toilet like in a woods or was it. Inner suburban three bedroom is in alaska. It was an outhouse. Not bears. Rummaging through our sewers than charming obviously. It doesn't matter where you are. If you're sitting on the john you don't want to be beset by bear but i just i was wondering how odd current cigarette. How vulnerable is precisely sean. Yeah well that's what. I'm driving.

"Yes, they should take him and Sam Darnold should celebrate the heavens that they taken them because maybe he'll be ended up somewhere else where he actually have an opportunity to thrive. Do No more than look at Ryan Tannehill Sam Darnold that could be a future and it could be a bright one. I completely agree at first of all is a once in a generation player. So that is a great thing for the jets and two markets head like this would be the best thing that could happen. Sam Darnold. I want to challenge everybody find a situation where there was a quarterback drafted into the top ten. Let's say he's notably a bust in his first four or five years goes to a different team within his first year becomes a top ten player at the position because that's exactly what happened with Ryan Tannehill. I would tell you that somebody has to win this game tonight but I watch five cores of Philadelphia and Cincinnati this past Sunday. So anything is. When deciding how and when to safely return to the workplace you need to be informed. That's why IBM Watson helps. You prioritize employee safety with Watson works a set of a infused capabilities. Let's put smart to work visit IBM dot. com. Slash Watson works to learn more. All right. The time for some quick reads and we start with shefty on the latest with the raiders mask situation for Monday night. We'll feel like the people that are upset about this. The fact that the raiders were spotted in an indoor facility without mask and it was a charitable endeavor for Darren Wall. But the fact that matters teams know the protocols that they have to follow Jon. GRUDEN already find earlier this year one, hundred, thousand dollars and the raiders note their players need to. Be Smarter about this no margin for error here this game between the bills and the Raiders Dan, what do you watch I wanNA. Watch the front seven for the bill starts to play a little bit better. Their secondary statistically doesn't look like it was last year but ed Oliver Jerry Hughes and Trent Murphy Not Milano in Edmonds I wanNA. See you guys. Because to become the championship football team that I think you're trending towards your offense is certainly there I wanna see this front seven dominates a versatile in diverse. The raiders get back to playing some dominant football's a front seven you marcus. Josh Allen Continue to see him where you go and listen there is a little video floating around some mistakes and opportunity. There's other defenses have had to pick the ball off from Josh Allen, but he is balling out of his mind. Make sure you're continuing to clean up the little things continue making plays be interesting to see how he do does against this raiders defense. Yeah. No doubt about that and week four marked the first ever match between. Dak, Prescott and Baker Mayfield to share quite a few similarities believe it or not both a rookie standouts with Mayfield said in the rookie passing touchdown record in two thousand and eighteen impressed got one in rookie year in two, thousand and sixteen. Now, both struggled against playoff teams last season combined three and eleven in those games sixteen touchdown passes and nineteen interception. But Hey, I, gotTa Mayfield off the strong starts east the season, each posing total. Kiara seventy-six. Eighth, and ninth in the League respectively. Yeah I'm looking at the side of the ball Dan and obviously we've been talking about in the mountain about how good the Dallas cowboys offense is but this defense is terrible. Let's just be honest and when you're talking about Baker Mayfield and his ability were kept, it's the fanciest. Offense. They're giving people a lot of problems. They become a balanced offense and kind of covering for Baker Mayfield. But when you look on the side of the ball for the DALLAS, cowboys will scares you, I, mean, all hadn't played football in four years a he's the best defensive players. When is the money gonNA show up the mortgage Moore's I know has some injuries he's one hundred, million dollar defensive. End, when is Jalen Smith born to start a certain himself? A young secondary that's has some troubling coverage. We saw him play against Seattle. Dallas's offense is going to have to be their defense and this is one of those Taylor the tapes I like comparing about other sports when it's applicable, you look at boxing right what's style of game is going to take whole and take shade early in. THIS GAME BECAUSE IF CLEVELAND GETS UP NICK TRUMP AND KAREEM HUNT might run for two fifty. If Dallas gets up then you put Baker Mayfield in the situation where they have to put the ball downfield or ob Jay, and Jarvis Landry and Asta Hooper and get these guys involved I'm interested to see the first quarter I twenty minutes of this game, and it will tell you a lot about. How the day is going to go but IF DALLAS GETS BEHIND TO CLEVELAND and they are able to hand that ball off time and time again, lookout Dallas goes it's going to be one in three. Yeah. Well, a little Birdie told me that Jerry is like one bad to form defensive performance away from calling swag to come back for some reinforces but on the other side of the ball Marcus. Talk about that no. Not Happening. We'd like you hear it ESPN. Funny. So we're going to hear that but. The cowboys on defense have some browns and just mentioned, but offensively been. So banged up along the offensive line Zack Martin finished the game last week playing right tackle. How on Earth are the cowboys going to handle Mr wrecking ball himself myles Garrett. They're not. Quite frankly field look guys like this. They will find ways to make plays right? It's just like Aaron Donald not coming alive against the bills and really creating those game changing type plays till the end of the game you can you can run, you can run some. Some bootlegs away from my house Gary, you could slide the protection towards you could put Zeke over there to chip but you can't do that every every play you can't do that when when gain time situations present themselves, you will have a left tackle out there standing out there trying to block myles Garrett and look I don't care if it is the top left tackle in the NFL or right tackle or whoever the hill you want to put out there Anthony Moon IOS, ain't coming out of retirement. Jonathan. Ogden coming out of retirement nobody over there like that ain't nobody in the league like that. myles Garrett will have his way. We Saw Dallas off into blind a seattle. Give up a sack. At the end of the game in a crucial situation and we also saw him give up a pressure which was able to. Get his hands on the ground which ended up resulting in interception myles. Garrett is going to make plays. You just have to make sure those plays organ or The Game I think a big thing for the Cleveland browns defense awards playing really good football, but they've got to communicate better in their back End Dallas is going to throw a lot of crossing stuff at you and they had free runners in the secondary last year or last week. So communicate better. But to Marcus's point I disagree a little bit with that mark is that if the cowboys jump up the browns are done, I disagree they can still run their offense and operate. Now if the cowboys start to this football game, like they have the first three weeks and they do fall down, it's a rap they will not get the football back not only that that will allow the browns. To dictate what they want to do, you know what defense has given up the most play action pass touchdowns in the NFL this year Dallas Cowboys. So if you fall down, it's defense he goes run run run. You are going to be bombs away in the play action game. Well, if the browns do fall from behind this week, it could be a problem given the fact that Odell Beckham Junior. Was Added to the injury report today with a back issue he was limited in practice now doesn't seem like he's GonNa Miss Sunday but he won't be one hundred percent new one nfl live. We have an update here on the situation monitoring all day and shefty. What were he had fellas tight. We'll feel the short time ago. The Tennessee Titans placed their cornerback Christian Fulton on the reserve covid nineteen list, which means he is the fifth player there to be placed on that list joining linebacker community community corey, as well as defensive. Lineman Daiquan Jones Long snapper Bowl Brinkley and practice squad, Titan Tommy putting those are now the five titans who have been identified clearly as testing positive here and being placed on the reserve cove. In one thousand nine Lizzo again, this afternoon Christian Fulton becomes the latest Tennessee Titan to be added to that list. This is one of those stories that will continue.

"The moment of unity. Yeah. Before the game. Which? You know SOx. Yup but is the least bit surprising to me. Is Not the least bit surprising to me. You know what I meant to say I'm not surprised by. Because think about the person who? Who wants to go to an outdoor event right now they're probably of a certain mindset that like masks or That are that the virus is a hoax in those same mindset tends to pair up with. Don't inject politics into my sports. Ironically. And so Makes it of course to me that's what would happen and I feel like the NFL should have been able to think through that and maybe not put. Players in a certain position. I don't feel strongly that they messed up by doing a moment of unity but it's like you know think about the fans who are going to be there and the experience that that could lead your athletes to have. I don't think anything like popped off after that but it could've like I don't know it's a strange united mean nothing pandered to them, I'm saying. No that you can. I don't know I think you have to know exactly who is coming to your game and just I don't know I'm trying to find reasons to be like, how do you boo a moment of unity? How do you disagree with unity and it's because it's been politicized to think that it means that you're gonNA lose something or something's being taken from you or your doing something wrong. I don't think people here unity and are like I. Don't want everyone to be okay I. Think they're booing like, no, we united already we don't need to do your way. It's like yet but then if you're saying we're united and people are like I don't feel like on part of that. You can't just be like shut up you have to listen were not united. I know you've bought into the fake united that we've been told we are, and so it's scary to think that those things are going to change but we're not actually united in. Wouldn't it be better if we were. I think you're right. I mean I. It was made me really sad when it happened I, mean like. Hopeless. I think is how I would describe the feeling for me because it's just like. Even like what this moment of unity is. So watered down like it's not even it's like corporate approved. It's not radical. It's not insane to think of it's already like barely enough. For the people who want to see something from the NFL it was like cool. Thanks but even that is enough to make a to ruffle feathers on a different side is is wild you? Want to talk about we we discussed hello, the NFL is GonNa put in in the end zone and racism in Italy takes all of us I don't know that I could be written smaller couldn't be. So small but I will say I was thinking what during the Washington game when it said football team in the end zone an end racism above it was like I bet there F-. Thrilled that it doesn't have to say end racism and. Former name of the Washington team because what a medium that would be. Oh Man. I think. So those are all the games. I had heard that they were having trouble teams are having trouble selling the tickets. Because people were like I don't know I don't think I WANNA do it. Good. Yeah. Feelers beat the giants twenty six to sixteen Big Ben is back. Lit for him. Finally, something happens for Ben Rothlisberger. He had a pretty good game. He looked okay. lost a I believe a right guard and right tackle so. What you're what you're right side Ben. That was a game that happened. How you do try to jinx it back to him, I didn't I did not because I'm a good person. Yeah. But the the amount of times you just said, I didn't is like you were gonNA. Offer. Comment that on twitter I liked that tweet. Do. You share did say that like someone who came very close to the edge and went on I'm not gonNA jump off. But I'm not gonNA altered I know that my actions don't actually impact sports shore logically. I know that did I give you my big long Jim induced explanation for why? I think superstition actually makes sense. If I'm sitting in my room playing a video game and I'm doing really really really well then Dan comes in to talk to me and I start doing really really badly. The energy in the room has changed and so i. Am under pressure now and I and I'm like. Oh. God My messing up. The same thing happening if you're watching a game versus not watching a game, maybe there is like a perfect balance of energy that's totally working for whoever's playing. And then you lose one fan and now things are off balance or maybe you lose one fan of things snap back into balance. I think it makes sense watching watching games a little bit more sense. When you're the one playing a video game and so like your energy is directly impacting the outcome right. But I'm saying I know it was Dan's energy who was not playing the video game that was impacting the outcome. Has. Yet, yes but I'm saying I think the players are playing in this like thing where people are watching them if the energy in that thing changes, it affects them. And so you like not watching. We'll just have weird energy explanation. This is my religion. I don't know what it's called, but we believe in energy. Imbalance. Perfect. Okay. Love that in going to the gym. "Because I think we checked in in the in the first half and then we didn't. Think about it again, and all of a sudden it was like Whoa what they lost. For the first hour. So it was really I was so happy I was so glad football was back. I had mixed emotions about it like you said about getting too invested if going away feeling like. Guilty that it was back when like so many other things are going poorly whatever, but it was just so enjoyable for the first. Half. Although. They looked great. It's all come. Back, DOT COM BACK Hearing play softly in the background under your story I was really loving it, and then it's all consuming. I don't know if it's a hundred percent. Steve's fault because I don't know how. Sarcastic superstitious. I believe that I am but we were watching it that they were up seventeen nothing and. was like man I don't want to jinx button and I was like don't the don't please don't please don't say a word. Let's just enjoy watching football I am so happy let's just what You tweeted it word for word and I read it exactly how you Senate. Please don't what if we don't let's just enjoy football. In what happened? Talking and I we got an actual fight over later. Why? Why did you? Why did you do like I? Don't know what I'm sorry he felt so bad. What did he say? So I don't want to jinx it but my interjection. Carson wentz looks really good. Why would you say that? freaking out at him within minutes he threw an interception they they got points off the turnover than another one happened. Then like getting sacked every five seconds, which this is actually kind of a funny story. Austin was watching football with us and he invented a phrase. which was really fun to say at first like. The line, of scrimmage. Down I was like tackled down. That's fine. Even running back, it's tackled for loss. Ono. Football. Team Sect Carson and he goes tackle town. I was like, Oh, well, you know we don't really say against the Eagles and he gets sect again he's like tackle town I'm like. All right. Okay. All right. Kid Listen Up. Here's how go in. An. Awesome. This is last week's a welcome to whatever it song that he just kept playing the beginning of over. What's the big show? Yeah we're. Anyway. So tackle town was real cute and then my real disheartening for me. God especially, after that, the football team's defense looked incredible chasing. So good Carrigan is so good. Mild seniors hurt for like a run game didn't exist Boston's got did nothing Carson Wentz Just, kept missing people and I don't like I love football but I don't know enough about football to like watching the that was that person's fault and I saw a lot of people saying like whoever thinks this is on Carson wentz is clueless. I'm like trying to be open minded but the whole everything, the entire team just was trash garbage after Steve Senate sentence and the football team scored twenty seven points and the eagles lost. And Boston Scott. Sounds like a guy like how you have a guy saved on your phone that you met after like a Red Sox game. With you weren't really like trying to, but you're like many again later. But probably not who text to every six months like, Hey, you good and you're like Yeah Boston Scott on good. How are you? It's prompted ROB's cousin yeah. You met him through Boston Sally. Sucked and I didn't like it. And I? Yeah..

"No I would never take a bathroom break. If, we got sixteen hours of football today. He's just so I love Scott Hanson. Springing football speaking of it. Let's do more speaking. WHERE SHOULD WE START? Okay I would like to start with the buck saints game if that's alright with everyone we near. Emotions it. They're good. They were good. In, this household we are patriots. Forty niners house now since Dan's here in. So his game was at four twenty as was the buccaneers game. So I watched the Patriots game a little bit red zone, and then he put on the forty niners and I realized like Oh, my God I have to I can't not watch Tom Like I have to game does watch it on my phone. Well he was what could have come in here that wasn't that was just me being a Weirdo. I watched it on my phone. And I was it was so weird. It was so eerie. And I'll tell Ya. While I I'll tell you my I texted my mom or my mom was like. Cami she loves Cam Newton especially because his name's Cam. So she wants to get a Jersey says km on it because her Cami. and. So she's like can't have out that. Cam. Newton and she's like Tom. He looks like he's having a little trouble and I said a real shame. If she said he he he he and it was like a nice moment where it was like I know we both want Tom to do well, we both love Tom we appreciate him. But there is this nice little pettiness to just embrace when you're like, oh, did he have they throw picks six? Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that that is that you hate to see it. You know you do. You do hate to see that game cam well, he no, he did really well, but I'm sure I'm sure Tom well too I'm sure. I'm sure. So. That's kind of how I felt about that game. But one thing that I noticed the off season talk or whatever. About one of the big reasons Tom wanted to go to Tampa Bay supposedly was that Bruce Arians is this like laid back coach that isn't as serious in isn't as intense there's no patriot way but also I remember specifically someone saying something along the lines of like Bruce Arians let's guys have days off. Like I I don't know if it's a specific day or whatever. But sometimes like they don't have to practice whereas I guess you know that's not really a thing most other places. He's just a more laid back coach and I was thinking about that and a lot of the mistakes that the bucks were making in the game. Were like bad coaching mistakes. It was like at one point a a receiver like jumped offsides and like it didn't make any sense in that moment there was absolutely no reason should have done that and it costs them and they kept getting these stupid penalties and like Brady was getting mad because they were stupid penalties. And just Kinda. Clicked it. Reminded me that Bruce Arians thing and I was like yeah well, this is what happens when you have a coach that's more laid back like there is not it there's no like you better get it right like there are different ways to lead. But I do think that like leading. giving. You know what I mean. I'm not saying you have to be mean and be serious all the time. You can be a fun coach, but there's like discipline. To certain stuff. And it just it felt like to me I don't know if Tom Brady is GonNa like playing for Bruce Arians but it might be different than how he didn't like. Said like he was sick of the the Patriot where he was sick a Bella chick being. Like, mean to him but not anybody else or whatever it was in like. I. Don't know you could see him. It's like give anybody who's ever grass is greener before and then you go to side and you're like Oh this is also bad but in a different way here and it's missing the good and so ill. Yet life tough realize once you've already played a game. Yeah. And this is a hundred percent an idiot who likes to watch football on TV just guessing, but it just reminded me of that. It just looked like, oh no, they might have some issues and then after the Game Bruce Arians said that Tom Brady needs to show more grit in determination. Look, which is like. You didn't like the bill was hard on you and Brazilian just threw you under the boss. First.

"The next ad read off of the story right above it but I'm realizing right now you can leave this in the that voice that I would do for that read. Is. Kind of like Scott. Hanson. So they're a little bit too similar. There's going to be an hour plus of content in between them. That is did I did laid out in the roadmap. So maybe people forget you know. All right. Here's friend of the show Scott Hanson telling you draftkings. Right. Welcome in to NFL action. It was nice seeing the teams back out on the grid iron over the weekend. Lucky for us. That was just week one. There's no better place to get in on all the action than with draft kings the leader in one day fantasy sports dad to this week's excitement. It's an October box just kidding draft kings has millions of dollars in total. Prizes up for grabs. If you haven't tried draft kings yet wealth head to the APP store. Now because you don't WanNa, Miss this draft your lineup now and feel the sweat. What is that like never court every arm pass and catch means more with draftkings head over now to where it simple just pick your lineup stay under the salary cap and see how your team stacks up. Against the competition guys I think we need to head over to buffalo where nothing adds to the excitement of watching the game quite like having a shot at millions of dollars in prizes. No commercials here on Red Zone draftkings has paid out billions of dollars to winner.

You told me you weren't doing fancy this year known last week I said, turns out that league I thought was out I. Talk on the Pot. Right Travis I said this the League that I thought was done. That wasn't happening was like Stevens Oh no you are. It is happening in your in it. There's a whole group that I wasn't on this. Put me on the group deck said which like cool like that and the drawing was at night and I was like I have no idea my guy, no research I had no printouts I was just like flying by the seat of my pants. On Tuesday was that that was the night. All My. Go Bad why did it go? Yeah Right. Not Great I was like. It was like they descend a recap afterwards of like everyone's grades I. Think I got to see her as e plus. You have the most you've the oldest team in the league. All drafting people that were bad like. No I'm like I that always happens to me when I don't prep because unlike their good and then someone's like they were good two years ago people always say you have the best fantasy team for like two years ago my thank you. Thanks moron. Yeah. So there's So I have a team, but you don't, and so I was wondering chatter. Our suburb at is still like whether or not. You would actually manage the team that is assigned to the PODCAST. It's drafted already. Yeah. I don't know if they auto drafted or not, but there's a team players on it. And it needs a manager I actually think it was like winning this first week match up. Will that won't make a difference once a new coach gets in there. What is the did the rest of the League. Draft and our team was just auto drafted I. Don't I don't know more information about something you're not involved in If you feel because you're looking I wasn't playing not just because I didn't have a league I just didn't want to get my hopes up and then have the season get canceled. I don't WanNa put all of my everything into prep to then be like, oh we. Don't have a season like that would have frustrated me. So. I don't know that this solves that problem. Enough for me to be like okay. Now, I change my mind like I. It's I still don't get attached to something I guess I don't have to draft it's already drafted. It's been drafted the most fun part of the I. Know that's kind of like it's the managing a team that I had nothing to do with creating just feels like it does well I'm not gonNA take credit if it doesn't do well, I'm going to be like shoot I- i- bench that guy. Thought Fun. I disagree I think who you start in who you sit and who you pick up on the way you know I know I know I know but if I'm. I'm saying if I start the right lineup, perfectly, it's still not GonNa feel like Hell Yeah I did it. It's GonNa feel like, yeah you should have done that. It's the highs aren't gonNA feel is high in the lows aren't gonNA feel as low. It's like. Maybe. It's a good thing if the. High the lows aren't loyal not as emotionally invested. You know you're just doing it for kids. It's like it's already sent a big deal. I don't know I'll take a look at the lineup. I'll consider it. Thank you. For asking me here. In front of your friends if your friendship sleepover. taught me gotTa do it. We're putting me in a real tough spot kid. Green eight you. I'm the people's champion in our guest are not good just, but she's got better vision than all of your and she'll let you know. Conway. That's true. Just a scientific fact pal. Right, any other official pod business no, I. think that's our entire pot for today thirty minutes in Oh my God. This is where the time goes, but it's my favorite part I really need it. Dan the podcast football's back during talk about that for way too long, and then we'll do. Read and then it's GonNa give specifics. We're going to do next up. We're going to do an ad read Never GonNa get you a football for. An hour we're gonNA, hit you with another ad read. Then we're going to do am I right? then. "Off your face I don't want to see it. What Else Mental Health Update? We're all fine everything's okay. Everything is so good. What have you have you watched anything good recently watching stuff. No I mean. I. Still Haven't Seen Milan the. Point. No this is Disney you will. Let's talk later. Yeah. I saw some mixed mixed reviews on. It looks like if you take away the music and you take away, Lee Shang, you're like, why am I watching but those are number one and two in reverse order He loved them. Exactly so I don't know we'll see I can do you didn't you didn't start watching the boys. Much. I haven't really watched anything I read a book. which was I mean it was okay. But. Not Not a ton. Of I've only. I've only watched stuff 'cause I eat normally just play video games but Dan was gone for a week and so I that's why my week was unmemorable. There is I didn't interact with anybody and so I think I was just like playing video games all day for like four days in a row, and then at one point I was like we should stop now and then but my brain was. So let's watch something which is I. Don't know how supposedly better because it's still staring at a screen doing nothing but I was like, let's watch something so I watched. A bunch of stuff that's when I watched the boys and then I watched this net flicks. Documentary series. Show called unwell fascinating. is about like all these wellness fads and it doesn't. Say. They're all like this is bad or this is good. It gives you like people who love it and people who think it's a scam interesting. Yeah. It's really really interesting. Video game updates. ooh. Game. Gaming. Update deluding. added. Or like a No I was going to do the Mario. Song. But then I was thinking of. Then, a little that one. What's that one you do daily do there does that was really good. The. Game Update. High. and. So I've given up on a vendors and played it since last time. Shout out to whoever tweeted at me. One Guy tweeted me you absolutely hit the nail on the head about the vendors gaming like, yes, it's so affirming I really needed that. So thank you and I think that was what I needed to let it go. So I have not opened it back up once. I've started to get my brother and the people I play warzone with to play multiplayer with me, which is a different to explain this party. You Ashley your face looks like the same because I, know you don't care and also might not remember I totally care but also I not sure if you. Moore's on the one where you drop in it's like you and one hundred. Fortnight and then multi-player is like games have like matches like people or teams of six two events, two teams, and then you like there's an objective but mostly, it's like kill each other that aren't on your team you don't kill the people. In that one capture, the flag new could play. That's one game. You can play capture the flag nobody does but. Somewhere before maybe Steve. Played. Yeah. And then there's like sometimes you have to all go to the same place and try to hold it. It's whatever but it's like smaller and you respond. So it's not like fortnight were warzone where if you die, you're like don rest of the most. Yeah. This is like you die you respond the comical get that guy. So my brother has start I was normally playing it with just nobody that I knew. Would turn my headphones and microphone off because I'm not an idiot and I know that that's not a probably fun experienced to listen to what they talk about. but then now I play with my brother intimate friend. So it's cool to be like, Oh, we can actually play as a team now. This is so one interesting, but it's not. Like now, I can actually say like, oh, that guys upstairs like go get him instead of just dying and having to. Break a window that was me give that was me I did that. So that's my big life update and. On my way towards getting all my assault rifles, Gold Hauer, what's our puzzles album? I might start one I have I. Think I have one. Did we talk about a when I did there is one missing piece wow. No. How did you not get on the phone? I took a video of it because it was so depressing. God. Twenty twenty in a nutshell. When. Did you figure it out because I bet at one point you were like I don't think I have enough pieces here. No, I knew I knew pretty early because I did that section and it was the only section of a certain colors. So I like looked for the one piece like it was kind of like a purplish and yellow and I it wasn't there I'm like this piece is not here but I talk about the whole. The whole time you're like, no, I don't. It's going to turn up. But the problem is that I didn't know like because I have a crazy dog in a toddler that's like A. Piece of should tear my house apart looking for it or if it didn't come in the box so I I had to just like. This one go man but yeah, that's frustrating. So I may start another one but the problem is like if we're going to have people over, you know like my best friend or something was gonNA come visit. Puzzle out all over the table like you know it's not. Just your best friend's GonNa, sit there and then finish it. You know are you being serious that if people were to come over you wouldn't you'd feel like your house looks messy because you have a half finished puzzle on the table who cares who gives us NERF? If if it's my first time having someone over to my home, I would yeah, I would want to try to. Judge any that I need that genes. That for some, you came to our old house in candidate we. Just. Yes. In the nervous attendant, like you needed something came into your apartment and you looked at me like, oh, my God, this is nothing. You don't understand what a mess of person. I am you don't understand I'll never judged. You have a kid you had two dogs.

"This year's draft class with taking Andrew Thomas the offensive tackle out of Georgia so on today's show. We'RE GOING TO BE BREAKING DOWN. Andrew Thomas for you here. Based on his traits things he does as an offensive lineman. So you have a better understanding of who is going to be for the giants going forward to kick us off here though as an offensive tackle. You're going to have to run back. You're going to have pass block. Obviously Chris what do you think of Andrew Thomas as a run blocker? What are the some of the things that you saw from him on tape that he's going to be bringing to this? New York offensive line. You know I think the first thing that really stands stands out about him is his really just his mentality he is. He's a mall or he's a brawler however you WANNA say he likes to take it to the defenders he likes to create movement pushed is around and he can create motion on the offensive line as a run blocker. Many you gotta look at all the types of assignments and executions that Thomas is able to bring to the table. He can block down aggressively and drive his opponent into the deck with amazing lower leg drive because he has a really really strong lower body and base he can kick out scoop block. Say like a five technique or maybe even someone who's a little bit wide turn his hips and seal that player so someone like one hundred swift at the collegiate level can just run through that. See Gap Kinda have that alley. There's a reason why swift. Who is a talented running back? Had a lotta open holes. Because he had run blockers like Andrew. Thomas and as a Wilson on the other side really really strong players at the point of attack and Thomas met. He'll just drive through your face and that's one of the things I absolutely love about him. He can get his hands inside in. The run game turned seal. Like I was talking about and just bully people back off the ball and he also is athletic enough to get to the second level located linebacker. Cut off his angle. He has long enough arms to also kind use his arms and his length to the advantage in those kind of situations so there's a lot of positive things to glean from Andrew Thomas and his ability to effectively block on the edge blocked down on a three technique as a backside blocker. So she you're looking at him on the backside on the playside. He's very very effective. And it's one of the things I love most about Andrew Thomas Game. Is that Mahler mentality that Chris was alluding to he will want to dominate you and he did it successfully at the collegiate level. Now will that translate to the NFL? It should but obviously you're playing against faster stronger. People in there might be a little bit of an adjustment there but man I I love. The fact giants added somebody with this specific skill set. Yeah and I also really like his power as a run blocker. We don't know for certain but Jason Garrett always kind of gravitate towards a inside zone or man gap run blocking schemes. He likes to really put a hat on a hat. And try to impose his will on the defense and then just run downhill and I think that as a run blocker is really what enter. Thomas is best at where he can use length. You can use that size and just move people a hundred percent. Chris man he he. He does all that again. I think he can do all that. You take any gap. He can get out in Space Trista worse than that area but you can get out and space on power tosses and things like that counters. What have you? And he'll do a good job on duos things like that. He's he's a. He's effective all those levels. He he has it in his a skill set to execute all those at a high level. That's one of the things again like I said I'm really excited about. You may not have tested as the most athletic tackle in this year's draft class at the combine. But you really do see all that functional strength all that stuff you guys talked about bringing muller mentality and it seems like the consensus for a lot of people is that Andrew. Thomas is strongest trade. It can be that run blocking ability bringing it to the left tackle position for the giants now for left tackle though it seems like the the most important obvious thing is going to be. How well do they pass block? How can you protect Daniel? Jones's blindside Chris? What are you really get from the sense of seeing what he can do as a pass blocker in most cases he's going to be a reliable pass blocker? There's I think there's some knows we both have. They're going to crop up in the second half of this but yeah he's good enough against most pass rushers. He's got those long arms so he can make contact i. He generally get good placement with his hands. He's got plenty of strength to hold up against bullrushes. He CAN ADJUST WELL IN DEAL WITH GUYS. Who Bust out counter moves. I think one of my favorite place was him dealing with Kvant Chase in using a spin. Move where he just kept square. Captain kept in front of him in used his hands to really keep chasing from being able to slip the block. Get into the backfield end for big guy. He moves surprisingly well. You know you wouldn't. I don't think you'd expect anyone his size to be able to move his feet quite like he does it. He has really strong foot speed. You can really see his ability to mirror and redirected. It's it's really expected when you look at them on tape before he moves. You wouldn't really expect him to have quality feat that he does for a player as heavy as he is nick. What are some of the things that you really noticed in his pass blocking what he and what he's able to do to protect the blind side of quarterbacks Chris was saying I mean he just that sheer length that Thomas Processes really will help Some of the US he I think he his feet are okay. I think his foot speed is solid. It's good it's functional but sometimes a for instance against Dj want him a couple times where he let dj. WanNa get hip to hip. And then Thomas overextended. And I know we'll get into some of his deficiencies A little bit later on these specific reps and then want him used a chop to chop the outside arm of Andrew. Thomas getting him off balance but Thomas is able to use his length to still kind of recoup himself and push want him up the pass rushing arc. That's something that he can do just the fact that he has that that kind of a thing to rely upon if he does make mistakes in his life if he does get beat by speed which is something that was consistent in his game at college but it did happen a little bit so think just the sheer length that he has issued and my favorite thing in pass protection with Andrew Thomas. His ANCHOR HE CAN. Anger is very hard to believe rush him because he's so strong at the point of attack he can anchor. He could re anchor if someone gets a lower than he does and is able to just bought him back a little bit. He has the ability to kind of re set his hips generate power through the ground again and just re anchor himself was one of my favorite things to see him do A. He's not a liability in that case whatsoever. But I think he's going to be a functional faster. He's GonNa be solid at it. I think there are some things you can clean up on will touch on some of those little bit later. But he's incredibly strong at the point of attack has all the length that you want to see are the is feeder quicker than some of the you know. The feed aren't terrible will go with okay. I don't think they're I don't think they're excellent. I think they're solid to good. Probably I would say But especially like maybe as the game wears on a little bit more deficiency with it. But he's GonNa be he's GonNa be fine as a pass protector protecting Daniel Jones. Something that Dale Jones did not had a lot of last year protection. So he'll get this season and it seems like a lot of times with these tackles coming into the league that are drafted early because of the schemes. That they're dealing with. They might not be as clean. Technically I think like Josh. Jones is a good example that he didn't really have to do some of the things that you see at the professional level in that type of air raid offense. And you're not really getting that full skill. Set from some of these tackles and I guess you bring up a lot of good points that he he's feet are pretty good but in terms of his foot speed is pretty good but what. You're getting in terms of technique is not as clean as you would. You'd hope for but he's got plenty of time to improve and get better and work on that stuff coming into his first year in the league. So we're going to get to the second half of the show where we're GONNA be talking about sealing his floor and also some things he needs to improve on but before we get to that we're gonNA take a very short commercial. Break a magical. I in ancient tree branch and a scoop k zero island by ghosts where all the answers are. Why welcome to the island of explain where we answer questions about? What's going on right now. Be gotree scores and do things that we have to.

"Really well with the chiefs right yet. And he actually met with the chiefs twice. He had the formal combine that do believe they had a virtual interview with him. Like I guess it's unlimited now but I assume it still considered formal with them afterwards so either something go to declare something else out. But he's a little on the smaller side. I think for an annual tackle six foot four in that right on the cusp thirty three inch our league so I do think there's a chance that he would kick inside the guard for the chiefs but that's only a bonus when you have a team chiefs who loves to play their interior offensive. Linemen have tackle experience but even outside Charles The most flexible offensive tackle. You've ever seen in. Detroit has more flexible. This guy has the most bend you can see at any tackle any offensive line that in his hips. He's able to get low block outside at his frame. The problem is sometimes he's willing to block out of its frame and completely forget that yes. Sometimes he forgets to be has hands. There's a lot of technical issues that have to be worked out with him but just the raw movement ability once he gets his hands on somebody that plays over. There is placing its auburn where he MIR's a Russia with his hands latched onto them for five six seconds as Joe Borough does thing. There's clear skills that he has a very good but there's also some questions off the field on the field. That's why I think you're probably looking at him around three four range. I mean the Oh he might wind up being a guard. I if he's GONNA COME TO KANSAS CITY. He might be a guard. And the reason you know the chiefs aren't probably looking to move on from one of their tackles this year so they've kind of got it set maybe twenty twenty one. You look a little bit all right day. Three sleeper tarrant steel out of Texas Tech. He's a guy that me and Craig actually got to take a look at at the at the senior bowl and I mean the man's got really great length. I mean he is a long long athlete. He moves pretty well for his size. I don't think he plays with consistent anchor and I still don't think he completely understands how to uses length yet. I think that's something that you kind of saw a lot. Especially at the senior bowl. He really wasn't able to utilize his length to his advantage yet. Really opened up to the sidelines. Super-quick a lot when we were watching but I think what you see. Is you see a lot of of of raw material to work with? And I think there's a lot of potential for tarrant still still. I think he's a really quality developmental. Tackle that you take on day three and I think you legitimately have a chance to hit on something with a guy like came in day three. Yeah on on..

"Not an easy thing to come back from especially as an offensive tackle where you're trying to you know. Use Your brute strength a little bit more. You haven't engaged your core a little bit more but I maybe that would be. There wasn't a whole lot of big surprises this year. Okay biggest disappointment and I get to lead off with this. I'm going to try to show a little grace tonight. Because the Kansas City chiefs professional both are the world champions and yes there was a time were. There was major disappointment at the tackle position. Cam Irving ruined October the whole month. I think it was October. I think it was October. What happened and you know he he. He stepped on Patrick Mahomes Ankle. He re aggravated. He was part of the worst stretch of the chiefs season. They probably made the right decision to move on. America fish from Cameron. I'm sorry they probably made the right decision to move on from him. I don't WanNa hold too much angst at him because his celebrations were top notch and he ended. He ended his time with the chiefs on a high note. You know dancing with with Damian Williams. Being part of the celebration with Andy Reid. Best of luck to Cameron. Irving you also caused me a lot of pain earlier in two thousand. Nineteen you also ruined.

"But he's a good player he's a good player when he's motivated and the question is whether he's going to be yeah i look i think that they have the defensive tackle marketers tricky and we just talk proton type low fairly is a fine signing i you know when i find so i mean just about the stands in general is going to say this is that the saints were capped out for the last ten years and then they got twenty nine hours in cap room now that is going to spend it right three days yeah that's exactly what's happened basics i'm like seven guys that's great all right before we had some of the lower profile side a said about the last day or so don't talk to guys about podcasts on this month were asking you to tell friend about a podcast bay alone right now the girlfriend your mom and when you care about it what podcast with a really love got it no go to it how the about it in real life for on social media and they don't know about just show them how to use him tell us what you recommend hashtag try prot g are why pm et thanks to spreading the word right let's get to again terms actually related not in center actually very related said the best moment of yesterday's podcast the tackle market has lost its fucking mind and that's in your last week tackle market and the continues with the russell okay making about eleven million dollars a year plus twenty three million guaranteed which is still less they've been that como gotten the panthers let's remember this team just need these players i guess i am left tackles there there's no better thing to be right now than a left tackle hitting free agency we talked yesterday there's no good tackle in the draft i guess he considers garrett bowles kanter's do it or whatever but like there's not an athletic great sure fire option in the first round or even second round and so teams are panicking but i just don't understand and you're the panthers how you think you can't get a better option than mccoy will with twenty from nine hours down to beat to be closer to trade did the browns next year for with a first round pick but but but but yeah yeah that's fair but it's a really bad deal yeah.
