The Trump-Biden Clash: The Worst Debate in Modern American History?

"Election debate has seen Donald Trump clash with Joe Biden over Corona virus, the U. S economic recovery, race, crime and climate Change. Millions of Americans watching on primetime television, so a policy discussions repeatedly to generate John Staple was watching. This will surely go down as the most bad tempered noisiest, most fractures presidential TV debate in American history, although not that unexpected as his campaign team had planned, Donald Trump was on the attack from the off, interrupting Joe Biden repeatedly and squabbling with the moderator. This deliberate aggression was designed to destabilize the Democratic candidate who's ahead in the polls. The president was looking to land a knockout blow, but it mainly resulted in the two men talking over each other in a way that surely few Americans will have found edifying. The most striking moment was when Donald Trump was asked to condemn the behavior of white supremacists and militias. Recent protests, but he refused to do so. The broad theme of this was that Donald Trump came looking for a brawl while Joe Biden wanted to walk by on the other side of the street. Fighting appears to

Trump, Biden Clash in Contentious First Debate

"I'm Anthony Davis. Law By angry interruptions and bitter. NHS The first debates between President Donald, trump, and Joe. Biden erupted in contentious exchanges last night over the coronavirus pandemic job losses and how the Supreme Court will shape the future of the nation's healthcare. Fitting for an ugly campaign, the two men frequently talked over each other with trump interrupting nearly shouting. So often that bind an eventually snapped at him, will you shut up man? The fact is that everything he said so far is simply ally Biden said I'm not here to call out his lies everybody knows he's Eliah trump and Biden arrived in Cleveland hoping the debates would energize basis of support even as they competed for the slim slice of undecided voters who could decide the election the vitriol exploded into the open when binding attacked trump's handling of the pandemic saying the president waited and waited to act when the virus reached American shores and still doesn't have a plan. Cheap TVs for under $300

"For under three hundred dollars. Now I'm Jefferson Graham Ula Santa talking. Tech. If you were to walk into a target best buy or some other big box retailer and you really can't miss them the rows of those large forty, three inch and fifty insets selling for two and a quarter to three hundred dollars. Four K. with built in Roku? SMART TD. Two hundred and twenty five dollars you gotta be kidding me. Well, the sets are usually made by TCL, which has three of the top five on Amazon's TV. Bestseller list or insignia, which is best buys house brand. It has the other two spots on the Amazon Chart, and again, both of them have four K. resolution built in smart TV streaming, and they can showcase programming and HDR which stands for high dynamic range producing brighter richer colors. The best buy sets answer to Alexa while the TCL sets will answer to Alexa or the Google Assistant. So what's the catch? It's minor and it's obvious. The picture quality is not as good as the mid range and more expensive TV's. But I would argue that most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Now if you're sitting right in front of the TV, it's going to look amazing if you're on the left or the right for the far. Away. To look good unless you spend a grand most people don't WanNa, spend a grand they want to spend three hundred dollars that built in streaming player is quite the deal it sounds small, but it's huge. 2020 presidential debates: Timing and topics for Trump and Biden

"Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will debate for the first time tonight. This is the first of three presidential debates. This one comes right after the New York Times came out with its big investigation of Trump's taxes. He reportedly paid very little federal personal income tax for years as he claimed massive business losses We should say NPR has not independently examined the tax records that the Times has. But these revelations do set the stage for tonight's debate in Cleveland, and that is where we find NPR political correspondent asthma. Holland asked. Good morning. Good morning, David. So how do we think these these taxes in The New York Times reporting a factor Internet Well, David, I should point out that we have not yet heard anything from Joe Biden in regards to this story. So tonight is really our first chance to hear his response. And I anticipate he will find a way to bring it up. If the moderator doesn't bring it up first. And I say that because you know his campaign has been trying to capitalize on this. They you know, instantly within hours had You know, we're selling merchandise T shirts buttons in regards to this. It also fits into a broader narrative that the biting campaign has been trying to talk about, which is Scranton versus Park Avenue. This idea that Joe Biden's for the Common man and Donald Trump is for the ultra rich, But I will say, you know, no matter how this story comes up tonight, we can also anticipate President Trump. Defending himself, either by saying the story is fake news or that he is smart and entitled to tax credits. Like other people, I mean, just think about this year and within our country and what the world has been through there is so much to bring up in the moment an evening like this, Surely the pandemic is something that will be discussed at lane. From what what else do we expect? It will definitely the pandemic. Other topics include the economy, election, integrity, race and violence trumps in Biden's records and, of course, the Supreme Court. Over the weekend, President Trump announced his nominee to the Supreme Court Judge Amy Cockney Barrett, and it appears he has the Republican votes to confirm her. So what I'll be interested to see is how Biden confronts this issue. You know, he has been trying to tie this to health care since Judge Barrett has criticized past rulings upholding the affordable Care act. And also I mean, such interesting timing here on estimated million voters have already cast votes this election season. I mean, does that changed the meaning of tonight of the steaks in some way? I've had such an interesting question, David, right? I mean, polls have shown President Trump trailing. So I will say that even though many people have voted, there are still many, many more people who will likely vote. And so we will expect to see President Trump kind of seek out opportunities, toe altered at the trajectory of the race. He has shown in 2016 that he is an unpredictable and forceful debater. And Joe Biden has said that you know really tonight to be successful. He just needs to tell the truth. But President Trump is a TV entertainer who has kind of a loose definition of the truth. And I am curious how that might change the parameters of the debate. I will say we have an extremely polarized electorate. There are not that many undecided voters. So how people respond to this debate, and I will also say how, if at all? They respond to The New York Times Reporting on President Trump's tax returns are too big. New wild cards in this race

A Look at the Amazon Event 2020

A Look at the Amazon Event 2020

"To this big amazon event. There was so much stuff so much stuff that was announced. Although it wasn't all related to Lexi specifically, but I'm just going to run through a couple of things in general just logically about the things that they announced and then I'm going to focus on some of the things that are a little more relevant to us Canadians. I will say first of all the thing that I noticed the most with this with this event, I was very fortunate to be invited to a watch online and the the big theme to me seemed the ambient home Amazon is really really stressing this idea of ambient Computing where the wage Devices where the computers were the the technology is just around us and that is why Lexie is such an important part of this but it's not the only part and so they did announce a number of products and I will come back to these in a bit but they announced the new Echo all of these are now spherical which is very interesting and I'll talk more about that. Like I say in a few moments they announce a new Echo. They announce a new Echo dot with clock being else a new Echo. For kids. This looks like it's only going to be the United States for now. They announced a new Echo Show ten, which is really interesting. It actually moves to follow you thought more about that in a few moments. They also announced a Fire TV stick a new version of Fire TV stick light 06 a wireless mesh system for home Euro-Pro 6, they announce a whole bunch of ring alarms for the car. So a ring Car Alarm a ring car cam and a ring always home cam which is very interesting. Is a device that is in your home and it's actually a little drone crazy stuff. This is like sci-fi stuff will come back to that one as well. And then they also launched something called Luna game controller and it looks like Amazon's new game streaming service is built using this control and it's built in the cloud, which is very interesting as opposed to other gaming sources. So that is the quick rundown on what they announced some of the things that I expected to see that I didn't see were any updates on any type of wearable devices because I always think I still think that when you compare let's say Google or Samsung to Amazon you think Amazon's doing such amazing things, but what is their weakness is that they don't have their own phone. And so I bought one of their strategies to get Lexie into the ears. Everybody is to get Lexie everywhere as I say have have Lexie everywhere and one of the ways I think they could be doing that is through wearables like last year. We saw the March 8th. The glasses and the echo Loop the ring but this year we didn't see anything like that. And I don't know I have questions about that is that because they have some more products that are in the works, but they weren't quite yet ready to be released. Is it because they've changed their strategy? I'm not sure but I I did find that out quite interesting. Now. I do want to talk specifically about the the devices the new device has rejected to Lexi of course and Tyler. Each one and some pre release dates and pricing and all that kind of fun stuff. Okay. So let's talk about the new Echo. So as you know, the echo previously was the cylindrical device. It's the basic device that thought they are released and there's been a number of iterations number of generations. And now we are out. We're up to the echo fourth-generation. Let me tell you a little about this first of all it took Spherical I think it looks pretty cool. I think it's very modern. And now the ring light is actually kind of along the bottom so around the base of the sphere. So it's a sphere with sort of a flat base and the ring lights along that flat base at the bottom. And so when it's when the ring light is on depending on the lighting of the room, it actually kind of creates a little bit of a a bluish glow down onto the surface which it looks pretty cool. It's actually got its got better technology. Obviously when they're releasing a new version on the top. It does have a microphone on and off button is still some buttons along the top of the sphere but they appear at least from the picture to be more flush with the sphere. This one comes in charcoal. It comes in glacier white and it came in Twilight blue. Okay, and here's something very interesting about this is it looks like Amazon has gotten rid of the Echo Plus and if you remember the Echo Plus had the smart home hub in it now the echo. The Hub built into it so great. I mean if you're looking for the ability to set up zigbee devices or for example ring smart lighting Products and all that kind of stuff locked sensors, it's now made simple with the standard Echo. It is part of that the other thing that it has built into it now that I should mention is it has a temperature sensor so you can also know the temperature off the bat and you know, you would expect that then based on temperature settings. This will be able to control Smart Home actions. The dimensions wage of this device are approximately 14 and half centimeters wide by about thirteen centimeters tall. So it's probably around the size of a softball maybe a little bit bigger than a softball but that gives you an idea of the size of this device. It has a three inch woofer in it and it's got two front firing a tweeters 4 a.m. Frequencies with Dolby audio technology, so that's great. And what's the price? Well, let me tell you. It's 1 29 99 and you can order this right now off on amazon.ca. The pre-orders are being taken right now. It will be released on October 22nd. So if you want to get this when it comes out, then go ahead and order them as

The Glass I Love and the Glass I Use

"This is digital story podcast number seven, Fifty, eight September Twenty Ninth Two Thousand Twenty today's a theme is the glass I love and the glass I use. I'm Derek Story. No doubt one of the best investments any artists can make. is in quality photography lenses and I do have some beauties. But what's fascinating to me is that I have lenses that I absolutely love and would be very reluctant to let go up and then I have those optics that are used on a daily basis. and. The funny thing is the two aren't always the same. I'll explain why on today's TVs photography podcast. So. Before I get into that glass itself, it's funny when I was writing this podcast made me think of a scene from moonstruck really terrific movie with share and Olivia Caucus Nicholas Cage. Just an outstanding story in great cast the whole deal. So share comes home one night and I think her mom was up in her bedroom. And share went into say good night tour after she had seen Nicholas Cage, she had started seeing him. And her mom you. Ask her what she's been doing and share told her. And her mom Olivia Dukakis Goes D love them and share goes Ma I think I do. And Olympia Dukakis goes I'm so sorry. I'm not exactly sure why I'm thinking of that story while I'm thinking about these lenses that I love and the ones that I like. Other than I think what Olympia Dukakis was saying is that when you love them, you end up having this attachment. That you stick with through thick and thin whereas if you just like them maybe a right thing start to go south and you're okay with partying ways and you know these lenses. I'm going to talk about a kind of fall into these two categories and it was fascinating to me because. I think going through my inventory because I'm not shooting as much right now because for obvious reasons, all my jobs are higher are no more right now I do find myself going back. Into, my inventory and just making sure the cameras are working. You know just checking things just keeping everything ready so that when life comes back I'm ready to go. and. I've discovered Dan I have lenses that I'm using right now. I use them all the time and then I'll come across a lens in the Lens Safe and I go oh, I love this land so much but maybe haven't shot with it for a month two months three months but yet I wouldn't let go of that Lens basically no matter what and maybe the lenses I'm using everyday right now Okay. Go. That's Kinda weird. Isn't it? It's kind of very interesting. You know what I'm GonNa do today is I'm going to talk about five lenses and I'm not gonNa tell you. which category they go into rather the like or left category I'm just gonNA describe the lenses can have you guess along the way and then at the end I'll tell you the answers. Okay. So we're going to have a little fun today to illustrate that point I. WanNa to tell you about one lens from my past that I definitely loved, and that was the Canon e F eighty, five, millimeter f one eight and I bought this lens decades ago I mean back when I was shooting weddings with a else Alon thirty five millimeter film camera, I bought that lands. About three hundred, fifty dollars then which is a fair of change you know when you're just getting started with your career but at the same time, it was more affordable than other lenses this class. And I mean, I just love the short shortely because it was fast F. One point eight it was light. had very quiet focus the ultrasonic motor was just terrific on it was a good looking land. And most importantly, it took great pictures I mean really great pictures. In fact, one of the metal prints that I have hanging in the studio downstairs was captured with that lens on a cannon five D in Washington DC. and. Hanging on the wall downstairs. Then you know you are in rarefied Erica's that's the stuff I have to look at every day. In a better be good. Alright. That'd be good. that. Lands is responsible for that shop. Here's the funny thing as much as I loved that Lens I didn't shoot with it that often. I mean normally I would have zoom on the camera body I in the film days. But then even later on when I got the five d and the five d mark to I'd have something on there like the e F twenty, four to one. Oh, five, a four and. That's what I shot with most of the time. And then every now, and then for some reason, sometimes, I didn't even really know why I would pull out the eighty five f one eight and I go sheet with that or I'm going to put it in my bag today or whatever candidates cradle it carefully and said it in there. And then when I shot with it, it was always just sort of this wonderful experience and I go. Wow that's a kind of an interesting phenomenon how this went with this lens

"Julie Thank you for that story and your reporting as a former prosecutor and having cases like Florida versus drake. How does video evidence get treated in court? That may surprise the public. It's so great to be with you Julia. Thank you for having me. We've heard that saying a picture is worth a thousand words right well in a court of law video is worth even more. It is a critical piece of evidence, and the issue really becomes just authentication, if one side or another can authenticate it, showing that it is what it purports to be than it comes in, and then the jury can consider that evidence and we're not reliant on just statements from individuals who might have been there. We have a clear picture of what occurred in. That picture can't be altered in any way so really video evidence at the end of the day. It helps with equal protection right fourteenth amendment has. Has All citizens in our country, enjoying equal protection under the laws and having that evidence in furtherance in technology helps with that the laws must be applied equally to everyone Ju- heap, saying it. That is the keyword. Thank you so much. We're GONNA turn now to our special guests who are standing by Attorney David? Tunga is still with us and joining us now is L. Song Richardson Dean and Chancellor of the University of California, Irvine Law School. Thank you so much for being here. No, you've done extensive search on how people make judgments in different contexts and implicit bias. Can you explain and expound how that relates to what we're seeing? Absolutely, so I, to stand unconscious bias, need to understand a little bit about how our brains work our minds in order to conserve energy, they make quick, automatic and unconscious associations in response to a stimulus, so our brains are efficient information processors, so if you're sitting in a chair, you probably don't even think twice about the strange object that you're sitting on. Our brains the same thing. With? Regard to the people. So in our society where racism existed for centuries, our brains have learned to associate certain categories which certain attitudes and stereotypes and in our country. We have learned our brains have learned to associate blackness with criminality endanger and Whiteness with innocence. And the importance of understanding these unconscious associations is that we are impacted by them. Our perceptions are behaviors. Are Judgments are impacted by these unconscious biases, these unconscious associations that our brains make that may conflict with our consciously and deeply held egalitarian beliefs, so that's what makes these unconscious biases so very precious and using the word unconscious. They're awesome conscious, sometimes that mean people can't overcome it and they can't help it. So you can't so I'll answer that in two ways. It is. Unsurprising because we've grown up in this racist society that our brains have learned these associations, but Because we practice them so much by reading the news watching TV, they become unconscious, and we are not aware of them. So what we need to do is to create safeguards for us so that we don't act on them right? That is the important piece. Put structures in place. Your workplaces within your lives so that even though these unconscious biases exists, you can hopefully safeguard yourself and safeguard victims. Of Your unconscious spicy is from having to suffer the consequences of your actions. They know there are ways. Thank you so much for joining us. "One hundred like you don't have to go from like like. Hearing about this to. My livelihood is being threatened, even not a camera person on survivor. You doesn't you don't have to go there? This sort of like reactive defensive stance like you can just listen and go. You know what there's a point there like. Maybe I should should listen and think about this and talk about this morning. This should be a topic conversation. It's should be something that changes. In the people who it goes in Avenue Cameras, saying that the people who are usually on the crop end in sick with that are people of color the game I mean we've. On Australia just as you mentioned with the cool kids, all the people that they've targeted have thing in common. that. They're cool. I guess uncle. In. Are I just want to conclude by by just saying that like everything that we've talked about it? Compounds with all of the things that we haven't talked about like sizes them, and like able is a and all of these things that like we can't even get into specifically classism something I brought up a couple of times, but even just like yeah and gender identity, having one openly trans person on survivor ever is like completely not what life looks like. And just how those Intersex like you can say okay. We've had black black women and we've had lesbians, but like how many black lesbians have you had like? It matters to actually get like the intersection of those in our sexuality is a term that gets thrown around incorrectly. So I try to avoid saying it, but just like where where those things crossover can matter as much as just checking like every individual box. In its. Why like it matters so much that we look at not just like? How do black men do and survivor and how to white women's? Then you can say like Ok. We'll black men do find. There's no racism. White women do find so there's no sexism like where those inner latte intersect is actually like wear. A lot of the work needs to be done, so there's a million and one things that we have in covered in this, but they all compound to just create more and more hoops to jump through, and that's from casting to producing to actually the final product that ends up on the show, which influences like kids who watch. Watch this. We're looking for role models like this is an amazing place to put people that don't show up in like Hollywood. Movies or TV a lot like my role model was Stephanie Grosso when I was a kid like I had a survivor heroes, and so when you are in a position to be on prime time network. TV At eight o'clock, there are going to be people of all ages who are watching you who are looking at this show as like their viewpoint into a lot of different walks of life. The reason I'm the survivor superfan is because of serene meals on excellent, and it was the first time I saw a woman color. Time I saw someone who was seen as bright bubbly person did not take seriously dominate that game, and it meant the world's makes told me as a little.

"Shield of being in a game with people who are like. You know it's a whole different story. If we're playing big brother, and it's eighteen trans people in eighteen Arab people and one white person like naturally, person's going to be at a disadvantage. But. That's never gonNA happen. Within reality, TV structures never focus on those voices, and so we're continuously seeing you know these people of Color. Other marginalized people leave early simply for the fact that they're not able to integrate within a larger birth. Yeah, it's something that. It's. something. That's obvious when you look at what happens every single time because. I like it is very easy to ignore into. Explain away when you look at like individual cases when you look at like well this one particular season or this one particular player. But the trend becomes very obvious when you look at what happened season after season time after time. And it's something that we talked about on Big Brother Twenty one for sure and. One of the things that I. That I mentioned at that time was that. I think it's becoming even more obvious big brother in modern seasons. Because of the way, the twists are formatted where they're giving an advantage to the majority, the majority group and they're incentivising majority groups to come together quickly. Whereas before and big brother there were. Didn't it wasn't as much of an advantage to be a majority group very early on now it is and so you're seeing this more pronounced than it had been not that it didn't exist before, but the results are even more obvious now because they're being advantaged in the came now. And, so then we're seeing twenty. You see Cam Comeback Australian. Big Brother where the twists are different that the game is formatted in such a way that. Majority groups can come together and I think again even more obvious on survivor. Because on survivor, it's literally just a majority vote. And so, this is where you can see these things play out in a more obvious fashion. Even to completely support that point I mean look at what happened to Dominique on her season big brother. Very to happen with Kimmy at that list did not receive the same amount of Lissi, or is on that because it was more apparent with the camp comeback, in the fact that every single person who is there with either Brown or black or personal. I completely agree with that. You kimmy. Long enough radio..

"Really kind of stressful time to be a big organizer. Not just an emmy on and there's a lot of things that are uncertain but as we deal with this there's going to be alive changes and things like that and I know it's easier said than times but the big thing that's going to help everyone out his be patient. It seems like every invention is either putting out their cancellation notice. Postponement notice or a week away and see. We're still planning it. Update things like that. And it's a lot of uncertainty part of the reason why a lot of you'll see a lot of conventions kind of way to what feels almost like last minute to cancel or postpone on comes down to invite insurance. That takes a lot of money to to put on a convention. It's very expensive especially the bigger more money. Insta- put up put on but a lot of times conventions have to wait until the venue says that they have to Hansel or like a government mandate for example. May Boston for kind of Massachusetts to make some more decisions and things like that and a lot of the comes down to a vet insurance. If you are a camaraderie should have insurance on many conventions Centers actually require it now because of things like that so and most of these organizations a lot of them. It seems like they're making money only really making enough money to put on the Van. And that's why they need the insurance that in case happen so they have to wait until they can actually activate that insurance which is a tough one takes a lot of organization making sure. Everything's right because if ben heck of an has to cancel doesn't have insurance that might be. The end of the game convention in Calms have been around for decades. Now we've all be really heard. We'd rather see them. Take a year off than cease to A. B. Altogether so there's a related to that be patient with conventions that you're interacting with the takes time to figure all this out and going to the right answer and related to be supportive of the staff. I will speak for my own personal experience. I'm just one part personal enemy Boston staff. These opinions are my own but when the news prevent and May Boston had to cancel for this year. I would have kind of facebook post announcing it and everything and I'll be honest I I was reading all the kind words from attendees APP or saying things like we know. It's hard decision because making the right one. We're GONNA come back in two thousand twenty one. We Wanna see that in that as someone who knows how much work goes into putting on the convention and seeing that in knowing how hard it wait on the US on that for me personally. It really did a lot and I know. The only staffer for Emi Boston feels that way. So if you can just giving or encouragement to the convention staff wherever you can really does mean a lot and it does go a long way. Speaking of being supportive. There's other ways you can do it. You can follow it. There's a vendor is specifically lake. You know You know they always exhibit and they have a facebook page or they're planning on having a special release now there's releasing that The over there somewhere you made to your ordering it and things like that because some of these vendors how is their only chance to do it now followed him as you know that they were contact them. See if you can find out the way that it's a very tough thing so that's one thing you can do. Another air group of Artists artists are big at conventions. And some of these more some of these people that don't have you know primary gigs. Like they just do this as a side thing.

"Week I'm reporting on East Bay Comic Con. It's it's a comic convention that is held in the East Bay But they I mean the eastern border of the San Francisco go bay so it's East northeast of San Francisco. It's north of Oakland and south of Sacramento. It's held in Concord California and last month in-cabin. I went to California one. It's a doctor who convention held over President's Day weekend in Los Angeles at the Elliott Mariot. So if you're flying in. Lax Ticket Hotel shuttle. Are there. It's supposed to be confine in our podcast for awhile may remember call about two years ago. I didn't report on the Commission. Store celebration that was held in Orlando Florida. Well there was another star. We're celebrating this year. I was twenty nine thousand nine hundred and it was April eleventh through fifteenth and held in Chicago. It's interesting choice venue. Normally it's in Anaheim California a learn to Florida and in Europe as well in this was a very different location and it is Easter weekend which means only one thing. Well yeah an enemy about reporting the end of summer here in the Northern Hemisphere. So you know what that means. It's time for me to once again. Do An odor con con report and then here to talk about SAC anime summer. Twenty nine thousand. Nine X was once again June this year in two thousand nineteen was held once again at the convention center in Atlantic City. New Jersey. Okay can you believe it. We're actually at our less convention convention report of Two Thousand Nineteen. We've gone through the year and we've gone to a lot of conventions tunnel audit stuff seen a lot of things and we're now at the last report art for me it was NYC this year. It was November fifteenth through the Seventeenth at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City and so on and talk about the advantages of small conventions. First the costs are lower You can get a smaller convention. They're taking up space or less hotel space and so so it costs them less to rent this venue which means their costs are lower which they can pass that savings on to you. If this smaller commission is close to Your House. It's cheaper travel. You don't have to get on a plane to fly across the country to go stand in line and waiting and H or something. Just drive an hour our so and you're at this convention Another big advantage of small conventions is there more intimate The crowds are much less because obviously they're smaller conventions rather than something with one hundred thousand or fifty thousand or even ten thousand people. You're looking at a few hundred people and so that means that for the guests that are there you get more face time. Because they're there for three day weekend probably and that means that if they're at a large convention you pay for your VIP pass you'll get maybe picturing autograph and that's all you see them. Maybe be there panel but at smoke emission. You may pass them in the hallway. They'd be hanging out just wandering around. You can talk to them and interact. And so it's definitely if you if there's a guest going to a small convention check that out and you'll get more interaction. It's also easier easier to meet up with friends because the convention is cheaper you can probably convinced more of your friends in the area to go and hang out for the weekend. It's also easier to meet New People because small convention. You'RE GONNA see a lot of the same faces over and over. I may be going to the same panels. You may be in line for some event. The lines aren't going to be as long. And just you know hanging out and enjoying the convention you see a lot the same faces and so it's a lot easier to talk to people say. Oh Yeah I like your cost him. You like that show too and you know you can get more interaction whereas a large convention. You'll see see the person wants say. Oh great picture my talk a bit then you never see the also small conventions are better start conventions so if you haven't been to any conventions or many check out a small one you know telling the water see how it is before you jump in to some large ten thousand plus event. You're smart you're supporting a small business in a local business and that's always a good thing thing. A lot of larger conventions especially those that are held in multiple cities are run by a corporation. That's located somewhere else. But if you're going to a small con it's probably run by people in or near the place where that conventions located and so it's helping your local businesses in helping to small business and small cons. Need your support.

"Heartbreaking experience of tv ad longtime halt catch fires is beautiful ed review i thought that it would be a possible i had no idea what they would do at the way they did it really was nice so i was really happy that what are the nice parts about there being 30000 tv shows everywhere is that there's room for that to happen we can give these nice shows a way to go out their own terms at all three of i thought knocked out of the park officials right bear i it daca yard pfefferle like one of the great things about peak tv and the rewriting of tv economics is that you can have something like called get fire which is literally the lowest rated show am she has ever aired run for foresees switch even a couple of years before would not have been a thing but here it was possible and it was cool it was great we talked about that a whole lot yeah i it is by theory that the halt catch fire is not watched by anyone who has not paid to watch tv for live which is a shade through the good though really unusual watch it all right so my number three is the fact that brian cranston came back to tv to play of villanova on another actors show i mean tactically he cocreated and was a producer on sneaky pete but it's still very special guest star brian cranston for the whole first season of that show and the fact that they that he was willing to do it to sort of save that show ever cbs dumped it was exemplified a lot of what i liked about sneaky pete which is really familiar in a lot of ways very like cable anti one on one even though it's on streaming and yet every after they cast is like two or three notches better than that show needed and especially cranston what you could have gotten a million different people to play the the evil poker guy which at rank rates in one of the great tv villains of all time would agree tv actors of all time doing it and that elevated everything right there and all really stuck under the radar a little bit because.

"All right so first things first were each going to go back and forth picking five things we liked it at tv in 2017 it can be what ever you want it can be performances it can be episodes anything at all and you know we're going to try not to maybe pick from things that were in our top10 otherwise my five items would all be carry kuhn related most likely right yeah late one through four at least for me would be like routines at two goats seed ceteris at ms at a perfect strangers it's at red cetera it off in some kinda she did all right i'll what would you why don't you go first bryant why don't idle well all right so let me preface nece with last week i put out a list of like the berries dan i called the very specific with tv awards secondyear of done of and they are just a lot of superlatives like i said very specific so instead of giving out it'll best performance i gave it a sad waterson the award for best mustache or i gave an award for outstanding achievement in the field of customs to peter mcnicoll from veep for is the see where ogle jeff came to join his office is torn apart so i'm going to try not to double up on a lot of those but these are some of the other things that are along those lines that i would choose is my favorite things the so the first thing i'm gonna go with is net flicks really targeting in in zeroing in on.
