A highlight from Could This Cause Ethereum To 20X? (XRP Settlement Coming?)
"You know who's the star of 2021? Some say it was Ethereum. Ethereum, you know, blew up, had huge, huge gains, outsized relative to Bitcoin, but then when it fell, also fell outsized relative to Bitcoin. Well, it looks like ETH is trying to get another ETF on the board here. You know, got a lot of companies that started with Bitcoin, and now we have VanEck officially starting the clock for a spot Ethereum ETF. Bloomberg expects more ETFs to be filed in the coming days. The race for the spot ETF has officially begun after the Chicago board options exchange will ultimately start the clock for an SEC decision. Let's see, they filed these to be listed on CBOE's BZX exchange as the Chicago board options exchange and a pair of tweets. Looks like as opposed to the previously submitted filings, this filing means that the countdown is now in motion. The race is on saying, guys, this is a long, long deadline for now. We're not talking about next month. We're not talking about next week. We're talking about March of next year, three, two, three, three, two, three, two, four. No, no, five, two, three, two, four there. Keep scrolling, keep scrolling. ARK Invest and 21 shares teamed up to file the S1 of the SEC on the 2021. They were trying to do this years and years ago, but now maybe the SEC might take it seriously. On the 17th, SEC reportedly singled its intention to approve Ethereum futures products, while several firms including Grayscale and BlackRock are currently fighting to get the spot Bitcoin. So we have ETH futures, spot Bitcoin, and now we have spot ETF in the process right now. All right, so what is going to happen, though? Some people are saying approval is inevitable. You know what's also inevitable? The fact that you're going to hit the like button Hurry, hurry, I'm starting to count down three. You only have two seconds to move the mouse. You feel that? Oh my God, it's just a huge wave of relief and awesomeness just crashed over your body. All right, let's talk about this approval, though. Approval is inevitable. SEC Insider primes crypto market for a $15 trillion Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP price ETF game changer. These major cryptocurrencies could be headed into one of their biggest ever months. The one crypto watcher has said it's going to be crazy. He said it's going to be like a movie, man. Last night was a movie. Now, former SEC chair Jay Clayton has said eventual approval of a spot ETF is inevitable following the SEC punting a decision on the ETF filings from the managers who looked after a combined $15 trillion until October. Looks like he's maybe looking at the fact that they punted the ball. They didn't go forward on fourth down. That's for you, football fan. Maybe because they didn't say no, and they said, I'm going to kick the can down the road instead of saying no, he's saying a yes is inevitable. That's the signaling of the kicking of the can down the road. But it's not all roses. It's not all balloons and clown faces for Ethereum. There was a hack in this summer reporting. This is the largest fishing hack in history for Ethereum, at least. Looks like this crypto whale lost $24 million and staked Ethereum to a phishing attack. Looks like they were transferred into the fully automatic exchange fixed float. Never heard of it. Here we have Joaquin, Joaquin dancing down the stairs. Cryptocurrency whale has fallen victim to a massive phishing attack, losing millions in staked ether on the liquid staking provider Rocket Pool. According to Peck Shield, Fisher subsequently swapped the stolen assets for just regular ether and then a little bit of tokens here. So we cashed out 1 .6 million of it. According to scam sniffer, the victim enabled token approvals to the scammer by signing increase allowance transactions. Allowance permissions are a feature of ERC, which enables a third party to have the right to spend some tokens that belong to a different owner using smart contracts. Observers have warned against risk associated with approving allowances, noting that developers could deploy malicious smart contracts to scam you. The news comes after at least five liquid staking providers imposed or started working to impose a self -limit rule in which they promised not to own more than 22 % of the Ethereum staking market. They reportedly include Rocket Pool, Stakewise, Stater Labs, and Diva staking. So they're going to try to self -regulate themselves and become a little bit more decentralized, but just be careful out there. We're going to talk about a hit network employee that fell victim to recent loss of crypto. And that'll be at the end of the show, though. You're going to want to stick around for that. AB, you don't have to put me on blast like that, Deezy. Too late, AB. I just did it. Did it again. 787, 150 thumbs ups. Where are we right now? Are we at 169? We're at 159. We're about to cross 900 on concurrent. But yeah, 160. Definitely can get up over 200 very, very quickly. All right, Jason Foley. Deezy will be the man and one of my favorites. Hey, even though I'm folically challenged, I appreciate that there. All right, that was a bad one. That was a stretch. That was a stretch. All right, let's talk about Ripple. And then we're going to have that Ripple prediction. We're going to have a lot of fun with this, seeing the CTO. What is the secret roadmap for Ripple? We're going to try to guess. All right, but first, the chair lab slams Biden and Gensler off the top rope and to the announcer's table. Wait, no, no, no. Just slammed him verbally for having screwed up on crypto. The legal system is set to bring the crypto industry back into the game after the Biden administration screwed up its crypto policy. According to the founder, Chris Larson, one of the richest people in crypto. We're covering that in ATB. I think it comes in as number four or something like that. Four billion in Ripple assets, I believe he has. Larson also commented on the latest court judgment in favor of Grayscale over its application to convert its Bitcoin trust into a spot Bitcoin ETF, noting it really admonished the SEC in a way you don't really see very often. Basically saying the SEC, they use language you don't ever really see in this legal proceedings. It's going to be boring, verbose, legalese, real pellets and this and that. And it's legal, this mumbo jumbo. Now we came out with like a strong dissenting opinion, basically, you know, in slandering their name almost. It's like they drug them out on the front page TMZ, but this is like the legal version of it. I sincerely hope we're seeing the beginning of the end of the SEC's policy of regulation by enforcement. The courts are rejecting it. Now it's time for Congress to take the lead on crypto policy.

"Still faces upwards of 18 months in prison, but he no longer faces upwards of 5 years. CNN. I feel like I'm watching CNN. Teleprompter there and you're just going to get a but now that gives me concept like I didn't recognize what you meant by like the warrior boys. You have to talk slow. I talk fast. I've always been that way. Always been really excited, but I love breaking news, and that's why I know that I'm in the right industry. Back to your question. I will say because that was a good question. Is that like, the reason I know I'm in the right industry, money aside, all of that is that at 10 o'clock at night when I'm in my pajamas and all I want to do is watch Netflix, right? Or go watch the last of us. If I see a huge story break, I want to do it. That's all you want. I want to do it. And I can't help myself, but email everybody. When we had had a house fire and it was the pandemic and we were moving into our rental House in 2020. And the day that happened, Kobe Bryant died, I don't cover sports. And I saw that the daily mail in TMZ had the story from sources and CNN didn't have it, and I think it was a weekend and I called down to the desk and I was like, this Kobe thing. I don't know if it's real or not, but I know some people who knew Kobe and know him. Do you want me to work on it? They're like, sure, I'm the one that confirmed it for the network. Okay. I grew up in Dallas, Texas. I can't tell you my sources, but I grew up in Dallas, Texas down the street from someone who played in the NBA with Kobe. I reached out to his daughter. And then she got me to the dad. So differentiate yourself in this space is having that network is knowing those sources a massive way to differentiate. And also just having that drive, like a lot of people just don't want to work. A lot of people just like they see a story at 10 o'clock at night and they don't they pretend to not see it. I want to own it, right? So that's the problem, though, in my job, it's great that I can't turn it off and I want to do it and I want to be a part of it. I have fomo, but then I don't know how to turn it off, so then self care, wellness, I have some immuno problems, right? Okay. So there's a whole part of me that's like not being focused on. Interesting, all in. Chloe is an all in person. I love that. One thing. Let me ask you this though. If someone back home is listening and they're wildly intrigued by all the things you're saying about the industry. And they too think like, you know what, when I see a breaking story, I just instantly stop everything I'm doing and I want to read about it and know more and they have an interest in getting into this industry. Even someone like myself who has a podcast who's doing like media deals yesterday I was filming for a TV show. But you'd be a great journalist. You kind of are a journalist with what you're doing.

"You know, maybe there's more nuance. Yeah, you're right. There is more nuance to people can be bad people. I think that's what the Internet has yet to figure out because as soon as the verdict comes out, everyone's like, no, Amber Heard is innocent. It's like, well, she's not. There's evidence of her saying she hit Johnny too. Right. They can both be bad. Both be bad. So that's our quasi reality TV recap of what's going on in pop culture. There were a lot of twists and turns in this case that make it made it feel like reality TV. It totally did. I was sitting here live streaming while I was at work and I'd be like when a psychologist came out and was able to prove that amber lied on her PTSD test. That was crazy. And when the TMZ reporter said she actually submitted a video she denied submitting when she admitted to writing an op-ed when her original defense was that she didn't even write it. That's kind of crazy. I didn't watch any of it live. I was keeping up with some of the headlines and stuff and articles and tiktoks and tweets and all that. But I wasn't watching it as closely. So I didn't know all that. Yeah, I think a lot of people don't like, I think a lot of people make really intense statements about one way or the other without knowing, like I just saw an article this morning defending Amber Heard. And they basically just reiterate her testimony, but the reason she was found to have defamed Johnny was because that testimony was debunked in a much a bunch of different ways. And so it's like, yeah, if this is true, the sucks, but there's a lot of evidence that this isn't wholly true, you know? So it's like, I feel like everyone needs to take a break from work. Everyone needs to take a week off work. You can catch up on it and then come back with an opinion. That's the whole thing. Yeah, you can't be published in articles and stuff if you're not neck deep in the evidence. Honestly, that's kind of true. Should we move on to the most innocent people in America? Yeah, quite this spark difference, but yes, we should. I bet the plots of no idea what's going on with this case. No, clue. They are going in this season a little bit more into the stuff that.

When Will Hayden Panettiere Learn?
"When is Hayden Panettiere going to learn? This girl is going to kill herself, she's a mess in more ways than one. The other night, coroner boyfriend were involved in this big, big old fight at a sunset Marquis in West Hollywood, a very popular spot where a lot of movie stars and the cool crowd goes. And there was a big fist fight inside the club and outside the club when they were getting drinks, things began to get ugly. She would miss this boyfriend Brian hickerson, which is another story in itself. These two were together, then he was very violent, violent toward her. Abusive, physically abusive. They separated. They got a restraining order. They weren't supposed to be near each other, and now they're not only near each other, they're in fist fights together. So people who were there are saying that the whole fight began at the bar because apparently somebody said Hitler spin on them. And the manager got word of it and he told Henderson and panettiere, they've got to leave. She was apologizing and profusely and apparently she kept warning Brian. She kept saying jail Brian jail, knowing that he's on probation and this will obviously put him away. This video's over 5 TMZ's got videos. There's photos of it. But it got worse as it went outside. Now she's 33 years old with a 7 year old daughter with Vladimir Klitschko. Doesn't have custody of this kid. And now she's seeing the guy she had a restraining order against. It doesn't make any sense.

The White Trash Fight for Britney's Money Continues
"A lot. It's the white trash courtroom drama between Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears. Bad day in court yesterday. My source tells me they never got to the TriStar discovery and deposition issues that have been postponed, but most of the day in court was taken up by lawyers demanding their fees be paid by Britney's estate, sanding Vivian thorin were there, demanding payment. Jodie Montgomery got a request for fees approved. Lin spears attorney was there. He won $700,000 in fees. Why she has a right to claim fees, I have no idea. Daddy's spears has a new attorney by the name wine garden. He was fighting with Britney's lawyer rosengaard over having reserve funds for his fees, judge penny rejected that the reserve will go back to Brittany, Rosen garb said daddy spears is frivolous and has spent to date are you ready to hear this? $30 million of Britney's money on attorney fees alone. He also spent an additional 6.4 million on media manners and black box security, media manners I have you know in case you forgot is how Jamie spears would play stories with TMZ. He would spend money, pay them money for them to have stories on their shell and on their websites that were anti Brittany. That's where a lot of that money went as well.

Harvey Levin Seems to Be in Bed With Jussie Smollett
"I've been keeping my eye on the juicy spoiler. The Jussie Smollett trial and it's sad to say that Harvey Levin and TMZ may be partial to seeing the empire after get away with this bullshit. I'm telling you, I gotta say, what is wrong with Harvey? I've been saying it for a while. We saw how in the bag he was against Britney Spears. Then he rallys at like he was behind her. He wasn't after he was allegedly accepting money from Britney's dad to put disparaging content about Britney on the TMZ website and show. I've got three seats. But he's going too far here with the Smollett trial. He really is. The situation is yes. Harvey Levin is trying to paint a picture that the jury in this trial may not be buying the testimony from one of the Nigerian brothers don't ask me his goddamn names all Ebola, whatever the fuck. May not be buying the testimony from one of the Nigerian brothers against Jesse because he dealt drugs to Jesse. What's worse, Harvey, dealing the drugs or being the person who takes the drugs. Come on, why would people on a jury have an issue with the person who procures the drugs and not what the celebrity who asked the person to get them? I don't think the jury thinks that much worse of a guy who's not selling drugs per se, but getting them for Jesse. It makes no sense to me. I think he's reaching into bad reach.

is female lead You have a portfolio of companies that's about 65% women and people of color Tell us how you go about finding these non obvious startups That's a good question TMZ celebrates its 5 year anniversary this year So the way we go about finding companies now is a bit different than the way we begin 5 years ago Now it's systematic We collectively as a partnership There are many of us take over 50 calls a month with tier one venture capital firms that have known us for a while like the work that we do believe in our value add because the partnership comprised of former operators And so we really roll up our sleeves to help And when you invested with these firms enough time they will write to you and say I found a company that's a little too early for us for XYZ reason but it resonates and I think it might be for you So we found some of our best deals that day But other times we found our deal flow through building our own communities And so when I first started as a an emerging manager of VC firm and roughly 30% of LP capital goes to EMs each year But that's sort of an outsized percentage because when you think about the refix all the addition capital taking 1.3 billion of that pie then you recognize the definition of emerging manager might need to change a bit So when I was starting as an EM I recognized that the landscape wasn't necessarily leveled If you weren't what's called the spin out Somebody that has spent a few years at a traditional established blue chip firm then it's harder to develop and cultivate relationships with institutional LPs who will give you a shock Even though the data absolutely points to there being a real opportunity at capturing lightning in a bottle if you find the right EM with the right idea in the right market conditions which is certainly what we're in right now And so I decided to start a network specifically tailored around helping women fund managers connect to one another And it began with that group and a weekly Google Meet that has now blown into something that requires a lot of dedicated times We're hiring an executive director for this group but the whole transact global 250 women next fund managers globally from Hong Kong the Luxembourg to Venezuela and Canada Nigeria you name it There are women fund managers in our group and we have one of the most active deal flow channels in the world And so two of our TMD deals over the last year of FinTech company combating student debt and helping young Americans stay for retirement at the same time as an example came from this website deal flow channel So I think creating the community being the change so to speak has been incredibly effective for us as a proprietary deal for mechanism And then last but not least I think that having some sort of media presence really has helped And so you know I posted a podcast and I worked on building up what I think to be a fairly organic Twitter following over the years and we surprise ourselves by getting some really exceptional founders called pitching us on LinkedIn and on Twitter because we make ourselves available as next gen EMs Are you the companies you're investing in Is it seed stage Is it the a round the B round how far into their growth process do you put money in So it is a predominantly seed fund We call our investments core investments So these are checks that average between one and 1.5 million So for about 1.25 million on average we're capturing ten to 15% of the cap table And in this era that's called a seed round It would probably be called a series of 18 years ago And then we follow on through the series a and it maximum take our at the B so our goal by a series B is to have on average 10% of the cap And then we give ourselves a little bit of wiggle room with our modeling We take Mars and moonshot investments with smaller checks So we call these initial interest checks And initial interest means I'm interested but your ideas So audacious it won't prove itself out for three or four years or to be very honest We weren't the first to get into this cap or you're picking a Sequoia over as we understand but let's see if we can just promise you a bit of value add to edge our way into your business And oftentimes when you speak as a former founder yourself with a high level of compassion and you promise with integrity that you're going to work very hard for that company.

"Old So you know how do we make money We charge standard fees to one 20 is the rebirth of it We operate by And then lesser fees for sidecars or direct investments So that's kind of how we stay in business When you think about an emerging manager starting their first fund management fees are certainly not so we can live a lavish rock and roll life on the $10 million fund with a 2% management fee You're talking about 200 K for the entire business to operate So Marina and I not only anchored our first one with their own capital But we didn't pay ourselves for four years It's not glamorous I mean there's some friends of mine that think the venture capital life is glam And it is if you're on sand hill road But if you're an EM it's a lot more like a startup where you're burning the midnight oil you are bartering favors with your Friends and you are begging the smartest people you know to take a chance on you and to invite you onto their cap table But it's somehow works out because we do put in that extra effort I think the metrics certainly for fund one have shown us that we're in this for the long haul now Quite interesting And so you have fun one and fund two other plans of launching fund three Yes I think that you know given the proof points between fund one and fund two and the conversation that my partner and I recently had 5 years out are we in this Do we love this We do Okay this is our life work So you can see larger and more demonstrable sized funds But not in an outsized way not just because we can raise more capital now but because we want to build out a partnership and the kind of culture that we always dreamed of working for back when we were employees so we have a very diverse set of colleagues with whom we couldn't operate And we'll be adding to the partnership in the next two or three years which is really exciting to say So yes the TMZ will be around for a while Thank you Sarah for being so generous with your time We have been speaking with soraya Dora abi who is the cofounder.

The Truth About Britney Spears' Missing Dog Situation
"Let's get back to Britney Spears who I think has a pair of big balls because she's going through hell and she's winning. She also has some lawyers with big bulls. She also has people around who were sources of mine who give me the best information that no one else has. So look, my analysis of this whole thing is simple. Britney has no control over the conduct of the staff in her home. Her dogs were taken out of the home, taken to the vet without her knowledge or even her approval. Why is that? Well, because Britney is still under conservatorship and her father is still the conservator. That asshole, Jamie spears is still the guy. And all the people employed by Britney's estate were hired by her dad and are paid by him. He cuts the checks, not Brittany. My question is, somebody must have given the housekeeper or the dogs that are permission to remove the dogs from Britney's home and take them to the vet. The only people who have this authority are Jodie Montgomery, who's the conservator and Jamie spears, who's the conservator of the estate. Jody is the conservative of Brittany and Jamie is the conservator of the estate. And just so you understand. I've seen the house. Britney's mansion is like Fort Knox. Nothing comes in or out of that house without Jamie's knowledge. So when TMZ says, Jamie's in the dark, they're full of shit. In fact, I've given my patrons solid proof of how much money Jamie spears has paid TMZ to run stories that are negative about his daughter. I'm talking money to the tune of $325,000. Under his media matters banner and Brittany's lack of authority over her staff is seen again when Brittany returns from her vacation in Maui. When she gets home, she sees that her dogs are missing. When she questions the staff about the dogs, they couldn't really sufficiently explain to her what happened. And as a result, Brittany called the police and reported a

They act like they fucking know everything. And everybody up speak and I just can't stand watching them. And the young lawyers will attitude, fuck you. Reading TMZ today, they jump the shock. He had cops paid off. Precincts paid off hospital workers had money. He had every paparazzi coming to an exclusively. He had it all wired. And I'm not knocking him. But it's easy to get stories fast and furiously when you have the ability to throw around a network's money for people to talk. Try doing all that work just solely on know how and gut and intuition. Let me ask you a question. You guys read, hold on. You guys read these sites. I'm reading this site today, and they write about how Tiger Woods was happy and in a good mood the day before he had his big car crash. They said he was paying playing golf with Jada Pinkett Smith and then he was seemingly having a good time. Tiger even joked about his body breaking down and ten operations on his bath ha ha ha and Jada made a birdie and they did a high 5, clearly jaded pink and Smith gave this story to TMZ. Clearly, she wanted the publicity. Trust me, this is not a story. Just saying Tiger was in a good mood that day before his accident. Who cares?

Uh, obviously knows her way their way around a script and I thought she's a good one. She would be a really, you know, but is she too obvious? You know, Vanessa has been a go to for a lot of shows whenever they need help Desperate Housewives She's popped up on other writers. Yeah, I mean, Vanessa is the go to woman, So maybe it's a little too obvious, but I don't know, but but listen to Sarah. They don't need they're not looking for 1/4. They're not going to replace her. In any way, meaning they're not going to have another actress portray Samantha and they're not looking to get 1/4 friend just to make it for women just to feel like you're fit that formula. Yeah, because it worked then. But you know, new combinations always work. So why not try something different? Yeah. Especially sold. You killed Samantha, Or would you just have her? I keep going back and forth. I keep going back and forth. When Kendall brought up the idea of Samantha just moving to Europe or something. I thought that's relatable and and that's realistic. That's not His in? Don. I'm sure someone that's written screenplay. You don't want to go with the obvious thing. You don't want to insult the audience, and I don't think And betray the character. I don't think moving Samantha to explain a mover to Europe to explain her absence is betraying the character. I don't think it's insulting to the audience. I think it's a reasonable Device to use Tol Splain her absence and I think if you do anything else is just gonna bring too much attention to that. It's e mean she's she is a part of the show. But It's not like I mean, they all are important. You know what I mean? It's like to put so much attention on one that's like you don't know. Until we do the show without her. It's just 1/4 of the show where you don, have you watched any more dawn? By the way, everyone is watching sex and the city basically for the first time, or have you watched any more? Yeah, I'm on Episode eight On the first. He's sure you're blasting through McLane. This is what McClane does The girl she watched all of Real Housewives of Atlanta in an afternoon. I mean, she did in game of Thrones. Remember? I started from the beginning. You hear that? Yeah. Oh, my goodness. So, yeah, it's I'm excited to see Oh, my God. Jason! Lex, your flex Flex yer Your smoke detectors chirping. Lex just jumped O Hey, was that you, Jason? Or is that Lexus things? Jason, Jason, just random. They're so sweet. She's gone ahead. Right now.
