"Into Gaza to be used by the UN and communications agencies. A Colorado judge is rejecting an effort to keep former President Trump off of the Republican ballot in that state. Traffic and weather on the state's Mary DePompa is in the WTOP Traffic Center. All righty thanks Dan we're starting out on the Beltway one incident and it's on the Maryland side not too bad if you're riding the outer loop though you will hit the brakes between Georgia and Connecticut Avenue. Crash is closer to Connecticut Avenue surpassing the temple slowing down working toward Connecticut Avenue where you are staying to the left to get by the crash response can't see it but they are blocking on the right side. Beyond this bigger roads we're doing okay it's south on the Baltimore Washington Parkway inside of the Beltway the crash is just before 202 and here watch for responders they were heading to scene I can tell you probably find this one almost at speed. 50 eastbound near 197 you were staying alert along the right side for that accident. We're flipping the coin into Virginia they were running southbound interstate 95 in Fairfax County between the Springfield and the Fairfax County Parkway looking for the crash. So far have not come back but watch in your main and your local lanes which are running southbound for responders and finding the possible accident. The big story is farther south on interstate 95 where you're going to hit the brakes out of Botsylvania County working toward the Thornburg exit 118 single file right still getting by the truck crash. "315, I'm Shawn Anderson. And I'm Nick Ionelli. Thanks for being with us. Thanks Well, the Washington commanders dropped another game in a big fashion. This time it was against the Miami Dolphins, 45 to 15, that blowout at FedEx Field yesterday, and they came on the heels of the 45 -10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. That's a lot of lives you just mentioned there. With us to talk about it is WTOP sports director and commanders beat reporter George Wallace. So George, this was the first game without Jack Del Rio as defensive coordinator. So what happened here? Oh, yeah, you remember they were going to simplify some things. That was part of the problem. That was the idea, right? Yeah. Well, here's the simple thing. When Tyree running kills down the field, you should guard him. That's simple, right? That would be number one. That's right. More explosive plays yesterday, guys, and Tyree killed two long touchdowns in the first half. Just inexcusable, really, and unable to get off field the as always, and just it seemed, you know, Tua could do whatever he wanted out there. 280 yards, had the two touchdowns. Tyree killed yards, 157 two touchdowns through the year, so just another bad performance from the defense after, and you know, I did think that there would be a little bit of a spark on defense when you fire a coach, but it didn't happen yesterday. Now Sam Howell looked great in the middle of the season, and then the last couple of weeks, two, three weeks, he seems to have taken a step back. What's going on here? Yeah, three straight, three games with a pick six too. You know, that's not want something you to be on the record books for. You don't usually win with a pick six. No, you don't. No, and they haven't been doing that. So yeah, Sam Howell, another exception yesterday. He was sacked three times. The offensive line is a problem, Sean. Yes, does but it seem like he has had his issues the last few weeks. Completed 12 of 23 yesterday, and I think it's just a matter, I think it's just a culmination of everything. I mean, they gave up 45 points last week in Dallas and yesterday, so it is hard to get in a rhythm. They do want to run the football, but they have not been able to do that at all, and everything is on Sam Howell's shoulder. But you know, you look at some of the numbers, but then you look at Terry McLaurin, only three targets yesterday, and no receptions. That absolutely cannot happen. I don't care what stage of the quarterback, or what season, or what stage of the development you're in, you have to get the ball to your playmakers, and doing they're not it. All right, WTOP sports director and commanders beat reporter George Wallace. Thanks so much. Top stories we're working on for you right now on WTOP. The White House is warning it's out of money, nearly out of time, to provide more aid to Ukraine. The controversial Purdue Pharma opioid settlement was front and center at Court the Supreme today. Keep it here for full details on these stories in the minutes ahead. February Traffic and why they're on the eights back to Dave Dildine in the WTOP Traffic Center. Not bad on the Capitol Beltway, just a little sluggish here here and there. Interloop near River Road in Wisconsin Avenue and Connecticut Avenue, but nothing blocked on the Beltway. In Greenbelt, though, southbound on the Baltimore -Washington Parkway near the Beltway ramps, there's a crash along the right side. Southbound Parkway traffic gets by to the left. Ramps should be open, though. Coming into town off the parkway in Kenilworth Avenue, delays easing. DC -295 at Eastern Avenue works zone clear. Left lane open both ways, that one but backed up northbound traffic on DC -295 quite a bit, so it'll take a while to recover from that. And let's check New York Avenue at Florida Avenue. It was only one lane open outbound. Yeah, it still is. Outbound New York Avenue, heavy slow from the Third Street Tunnel past the work cruise at Florida Avenue, just one left lane getting by the intersection project. In Virginia on 395 southbound, a little better. Coming out of Arlington near Sherlington Circle, the work zone is clear. Delays are easing. 95 just gradually building at the Occoquan. Centerville, 28 southbound, very slowly getting over 66, 29 under and through a work zone with just one lane getting by toward New Braddock Road on 28 south. 28 north, your lanes are open. Metro plans to add the first of the repaired 7 ,000 series rail cars today. The system has been mostly relying on its oldest rail cars since the derailment. Only about a third of Metro's new 7 ,000 series cars have running. been Metro says replacing the wheels will bring the entire 7 ,000 series fleet up to new improved and standards. EV owners may get a nasty surprise should they find themselves involved in a crash. We're learning more now about just how expensive electric vehicles are to repair. According to one insurance claim processor, CCC Intelligence Solutions, repairing an EV after a crash cost an average $6 ,500 last year compared with $4 ,200 for all vehicles. The Wall Street Journal reports EV repairs after a collision are much more expensive than for gas powered vehicles. Because they're more complicated, the fixes tend to require more replacement parts and fewer people do such repairs. That also drags out the time it takes to finish the needed collision repairs. All those reasons are among that the ensuring an EV is more expensive than ensuring a gas vehicle. Sandy Cozell, TLP News. Gas prices inching up again in our region. The latest survey from GasBuddy shows prices are up 4 cents in the last week, averaging now about $3 .53 a gallon in the district. In the DC region, I should say, prices about a penny higher than a month ago. The national average is down 4 cents in the past week, averaging about $3 .21 a gallon. A highlight from Episode 379 - Cybersecurity information sharing OT-ISAC Summit 2023 highlights

"This is Jane Lo, and I'm at OT ISAC Summit 2023 here in Singapore, and with me today I'm very pleased and very privileged to have two guests. They are John Lee, who is the Managing Director with GRF, and also Lim Tien Chin, who is the Senior Director with GovTech. And they will be sharing with us the highlights of the OT ISAC Summit, which stands for Operational Technology Information Sharing and Analysis Centre, as well as some highlights from the Operational Technology Conference that was organised by the Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore two weeks ago. So basically highlights about operational technology over the last two weeks are held in Singapore. So thank you so much for your time today. Thank you for inviting me. Thank you. So John, I'm just going to ask you very quickly to give our audience a brief introduction about ISAC, because I think information sharing in the context of ISAC, because I have heard of that before. Yeah. ISAC started in the late 1990s in the US from the Presidential Directive 63, and also the Homeland Security Presidential Directive 71 that actually mandated information sharing for critical infrastructure sectors. And that started with the financial services, because that is one of the key areas where a lot of transactions in our economy is being dependent on this very key and critical area. So the ISAC provides a safe harbour for information sharing for the members within that sector. And FSISAC has grown tremendously, and throughout the years since it was born in 1998, we have had numerous requests from different sectors to each share information, and sector services formed within FSISAC, and it grew to be such that in 2017, it was spun off as a Global Resilience Federation. And over the course, concurrently, with the growth of FSISAC, there were other ISACs outside of GRF and FSISAC that was set up, like Space ISAC, Water ISAC, Sports ISAC, numerous ISACs. And why is this so? Because it focuses on sector -specific information sharing. But a common threat among all these ISACs is that they follow a common protocol, called a Traffic Light Protocol, where they are colour -coded. TLP rate means sharing between two parties cannot get out of the two parties. And TLP amber plus strict means sharing between two parties can be shared with the party's organisation. TLP amber means sharing between two parties can be shared with the party's members, as well as the service providers that provide services to the organisations. TLP green, sharing within the ISAC, and TLP clear is public information. So this is TLP clear, right? Definitely, we are going public. It's definitely TLP clear. I'd just like to add on why we are here. OTISAC was actually part of the Singapore OT cybersecurity master plan in 2019. Key Trusts were sharing of information among the critical information infrastructures in Singapore. Right, yes. And I'm just going to come to you now, Tianjin. You were there at the Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore during the early days when OTISAC was set up. And obviously that was done, set up in 2019, right? And that was where I guess there was still some very prominent cyber threat incidents, right? Like the Ukraine just happened two years prior and then there's a tritone nowhere as well. So there was a lot of threats back then, but there was even more after that, especially during COVID. Indeed. So in your observations, as you know, when you were in CSA, which is Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore, how has information sharing in OTISAC evolved? We will, you know, if you understand the why behind why we need to create ISACs, right? If you look at cybersecurity as the nature of cybersecurity has a very adversarial kind of law. The fact is that there are groups, there are people out there, threat actors out there who are trying all their means to exploit you. And they are not just doing that by themselves. They are sharing information among them. They are sharing all the techniques as long as you make it work. Even opposition, even different parties who have never worked before come together to share. The question here is why shouldn't the defenders, the so -called the targeted victims, why aren't we sharing information? Because our adversary on the other part is sharing. And then why aren't we? So that's the first question. And then the next question, and this alludes to, you know, ISAC becomes that safe harbor, that platform for the organizations or the different parties with vested interests or different business line come together to share because their common goal is how do we then exchange information to reduce the risk that caused by this threat? So I think info sharing platform overwhelmingly has been useful. It was a long journey since, it feels like a long journey since from the conceptualization implementation. And then all thanks to John and his merriment. We kind of, they really worked hard to put this together. All right. And really create that trusted platform to bring people to come and share information in a safe and confident and trusted environment. That's right. Yeah. Trust is very important. Trust is the cross I think. So I think then driven by all these external threats, I think more and more, we should think about how do we share information beyond structural platforms such as ISAC. I think there are plenty of opportunities for conferences for community to come together. And then the more diverse the kind of practitioners, whether are you from the vendor side, you are the buy side of the organization, or even from the regulators coming to have a conversation around table. I think then we can better even our odds against the track. That's right. Yeah. I was going to ask you about, you know, the partnerships between not just the public and the private sector that you just mentioned, but also between law enforcement as well as an ISAC. And obviously the ISAC has in GRF, you have more than close to 20, but not quite 20 ISAC members, right? 17. And there's also sharing between, I guess, different ISAC and industry vertical. So there's a lot of sharing. And I think a lot of people want to ask, so what are you guys sharing? It's not just indicators of compromise, or it is also best practices, standards, I guess, incident response playbook, maybe TLP, Amber and Red sort of categories of sharing where you actually go and discuss about the potential threats that you see are quite imminent. So these are all the different types of sharing. So it's not just pure technical sort of, binary files, is it? I think the basic sharing of information looks at the strategic track landscape, cyber incidents and vulnerabilities, threats and vulnerabilities, and also technical indicators of compromise. But most valuable than indicators of compromise is the tactics, techniques, and procedures of the track actors. Because if you stop those tactics, techniques, and procedures, you would actually prevent that track adversary. And they have to reinvent the wheel and come up with different tactics, techniques, and procedures, which is their modus operandi. So we share those as well, contextualize to the different environments, 11 critical information infrastructure. And as you mentioned best practices, we just had the OT ISAC Summit Conference, and there was a lot of sharing of best practices, which the attendees can actually take back and adopt within the organizations to have a more safer and more cyber -resilient infrastructure. I would also add, I think one thing I really like about OT ISAC is also getting the vendors, you know, the OT manufacturers to join in as part of the partners of the community.

Collar plans to issue Canal Avenue inbound, having to divert at Arizona Avenue. Looks like we got a work zone that's still blocking lanes. You got about 30 minutes to get that one out of the way, but for right now, all inbound traffic, Canal Road, is going to divert at Arizona Avenue. Ian Crawford, WTOP traffic. Temperatures are running some 10 to 15 degrees below average. It really does feel more like late September, early October out there. Early morning hours, Friday, as the sun gets ready to

"Flavors. Thanks for sharing the middle of your week this early midnight. Our Wednesday morning, August is here at WTOP. You're with WTOP and Dean Lane. Your time now is 12 28. Traffic and weather are the eights and when it breaks. Good morning to Rich Hunter in the WTOP TLP traffic center. All right, no change on the Beltway in Maryland. Everything's still stopped. At a loop, approaching 355 Rockville Pike. No traffic getting by. Currently everyone stopped. Then multiple vehicles involved here. Heavy response on scene. Again, last chance to exit the Beltway before you're caught in the stopped traffic is at Connecticut Avenue. If you go beyond there, it's unclear how long you're going to be stopped there, so just keep that in mind. Do not let yourself get caught up in that stopped traffic. Now, if you're traveling elsewhere on the Beltway, not a bad ride the rest of the Beltway. In Virginia, they are working on the interloop. The exit ramps to both westbound and eastbound 66 are closed by the overnight construction. You're diverted further north on the Beltway to Route 7 to work your way back. Not a difficult work around. In the district, Connecticut Avenue is northwest between Porter and Macomb streets. Single right gets lane you by both directions past the work zone. Also working north on the Potomac freeway downtown between Ohio Drive and the E Street Expressway. All lanes are blocked as a result of a paving project. So if you're on Ohio Drive, you have to continue north toward Rock Creek Parkway. If you're coming outbound, the ramp from the Whitehurst freeway to go outbound on the freeway, that ramp is open. Now if you're traveling in Maryland northbound on the Baltimore -Washington Parkway, as you're approaching past 175, single right lane gets you by Virginia, 95 northbound as you approach and pass US 17 Falmouth, single file right pass that work zone. As of late, delays of east somewhat getting into and through it. 395 north working between Duke Street and Seminary Road, single left lane gets you by down to a single left lane again as you head north of Washington Boulevard, Rich Hunter WTF traffic. Wow, this is the kind of weather you just want to bottle it up, so nice out there. Temperatures on the cooler side for early August, upper 50s to mid 60s and yes,

"1st. Welcome into the TLP. Thanks for starting your day with us at 4 18 in the morning, driving in weather on the eights and when it breaks first over to Rich Hunter and the double TLP traffic center. All right, still no change on the George Washington Park. We get no access from the Beltway. It is closed between the Beltway and the Roosevelt Bridge as a result of storm cleanup. debris And this is all ongoing since Saturday storms. First chance you can access the downtown lanes of the GW Parkways from Arlington Boulevard. Not before. Northbound side remains closed between Run Spout Parkway and 123. Again, all traffic taken off at Spout Run Parkway. No access from Spout Run Parkway to go south on the GW Parkway. That is also closed off as a result. Now if you're traveling on the Beltway Maryland through and Virginia right now, no major issues in your way. If you're traveling in Maryland to Southbound. 70 Good start out of Frederick down in the Montgomery County, but still had the work done in place at last from check listeners. Beginning just before Montrose Road and extending down toward the lane divide. Eventually losing two left lanes, but you get by by staying to the right pretty much without delay. If you're traveling on I -95 and the Baltimore Washington Parkway, for now no major issues in your way. In the district both I -295 North, D .C. 295 South without early issue, Suitland Parkway and South Capitol Street off to a good start. New York Avenue Leaving the Anacostia to toward the 3rd Street tunnel looking good as well. At last check they were still working on 50 Eastbound as you approach and pass Columbia Park Road. The paving project you get by that work zone single file should be to the left at this point. Rich Hunter, WTIB traffic. Early early here on this Tuesday We've got just a few scattered clouds were mainly clear temperatures starting out in the 60s even 50s far West later today.

"Got a cloud managed network, this is going to work great. And leaders, you can automate distributed operations. You can build more sustainable workspaces. You can proactively protect your network too. I know that's a big concern. And IDG market pulse research report conducted former rocky highlights, top tier opportunities in supporting hybrid work. Hybrid work, this is actually a relief because we see all these headlines saying no, you've got to come to work 78% of C suite executives. No, hybrid work is the future and they're supporting it. Leaders want to derive collaboration forward while staying on top of boosting productivity and, of course, security. There are challenges in hybrid work and IDG report. Raises the red flag about security noting that 48% of leaders report cybersecurity threats as the primary obstacle to improving workforce experiences. Always on security monitoring is a big part of what makes this cloud managed network so awesome. So you know, security is a priority. IT can use apps from Iraqis vast ecosystem of partners. Turnkey solutions built to work seamlessly with the Meraki cloud platform for asset tracking, location analytics, and more, gather insights on how people are using the workspaces in a smart space environmental sensors to track activity and occupancy levels. You can stay on top of cleanliness, and you can become more efficient. Save money. Reserve workspaces based on vacancy and employee profiles. They call it hot desking, right? It allows employees to scout out a spot, settle in. It's easy for them to find a place and it's easy for you to make sure you're maximizing your efficiency. Locations in restricted environments have security too. They can be booked in advance. They can include time based door access. You can't get in unless it's your turn. Mobile device management, of course. Integrating devices and systems will allow your IT department to manage update and troubleshoot company owned devices, even when the device and employee are not there. They're in a remote location. They're on that beach, right? Turn any space into a place of productivity, and empower your organization with the same exceptional experience. No matter where they work with Meraki, and the Cisco suite of technology, learn how your organization can make hybrid work, work, visit Meraki, and the R AKI, Cisco dot com slash Cisco Meraki for their support. I've asked the tech guys. Remember that address Meraki dot Cisco dot com slash Twitch just before I left. I got something in the mail. We talked about this. And I'm very excited. This is from Pam aroni. This is a 7 color. He inked display that's the image they left on there. So that's an actual image from the ink display. On the back here, the connectors, this is the inky impression 7.3. It's a 7.3 inch 8 color, E ink display. 800 by four 80 pixels, that's pretty exciting. I've got a Raspberry Pi here. There is an API. I'm going to have to do a little python coding to get this working. But when I was thinking, we've got this clock here. But the resolution on the it's kind of cool. That's the tidbit that you use at home. And recommended. And I think that's great. We know you want to stab a clock on set. This has got the date and the time. But I was thinking this is about the same size. We could do something with this. And maybe we could have more than just the date and time in there. Maybe we could have club members. In real time, there's an API to that. A PHP API so I'm going to have to do this little python PHP. I'll probably going to get myself in trouble. But I'll give you an update. We'll do this and we'll show you as I progress. We're going to try to get this 7 color E ink display, which would be a nice, stable display. On set, not so cool. What's the refresh rate on that? As fast as you want it to be. I don't know. Once a second's plenty, right? Yeah, exactly. It's a clock. But I like the idea of getting the club twit members in there. We need a light. Yeah, you'd have to point a light at it because it's reflective. Well, we'll figure it out. You can see it now, right? There's enough light in here. Well, I'll do black letters on a white background. I'm not going to make it too hard to read. But we'll see. Yeah, well, yeah, we got to try it. You can get these now color E ink displays. That's so cool. Yeah. It's not the greatest color, but it's color. Anyway, we'll play, I'll be playing with that. That'll be a project we'll be working on. That's fine. Ask the tech guys. So stay tuned. As the company. I was going to say, I picked this up in a Florence as I was a traveling, but no. I mail ordered it. But it came in, unfortunately, just before I left. So I didn't get a chance to work on it, but I'm looking forward to that. Leo, there is a great question. Yes. It came to us via email. Let's do it. Specific to you. Uh oh. No, it's okay. It's about Linux. So Robert sent in via email and said, welcome back, Leo. Thank you. I have a Lenovo E 15 ThinkPad on which I have installed Linux, and I'm having a problem with battery life. I charge the battery to 90% and I turn it off. A week later, when I turn it on, the battery is down to around 30% or less. This battery drain was not as fast when I had windows installed. I have also installed other distros of Linux and still seem to have the same issue. And then as a comparison Robert mentions, I have a 2010 MacBook Air that I've also installed Linux on pop OS and the battery drain is slow when turned off compared to the ThinkPad. Any idea on how to solve this issue? Yes. So this is very common complaint. Most laptops, including that Lenovo, you have are designed for Windows. Windows has a lot of stuff running in the background to increase battery life. Just like your smartphone and put stuff to sleep, put stuff in the background, stop stuff. Linux is not tuned specifically for that laptop. But you can tune it better. So there are a number of tools that I use probably if you're using pop OS might be why you're getting a better result in pop OS. It's getting installed automatically. I use TLP, which is battery management and optimization utility. Most Linux distros, I believe, now install TLP automatically. But if you don't, you should install it and you should read up on it because TLP is basically a manual way to do what Windows does automatically. So when Lenovo makes a laptop, they make their own drivers software. They integrate with windows. They do a lot of things to improve battery life. And it's a very common complaint when people are running Linux, they're not getting the same battery life they got on Windows. It's also the case that some of these laptops have terrible battery life, no matter what. And it's an older laptop, so maybe the battery is less effective as it used to be. Nevertheless, try TLP. But I will also put this link in to this article, which is a really good article, make tech easier. It mentions a number of other programs, which I haven't used. Like CPU freak slim book battery and so forth. In my opinion, TLP is all you need. And you probably have installed, but you're going to want to use you're going to want to configure it because it doesn't necessarily give you the best performance out of the box. There's a lot of things you could do, like put the PCI bus to sleep when it's not being used, things like that. So if you don't have installed install TLP, read the instructions, use TLP to figure out what's going on, what's using up your juice. This particular problem is, while it's asleep, right?

"Really, well. So Lisa took some beautiful shots, which she loves to do post. Post processing. Keeps being posted and you're thinking, what are you talking about? She loves to do post processing. So life of Lisa dot com is her blog, there's stuff there. We used polar steps, which I do recommend. I was very happy. This is an app on your iPhone. You can use it on Android two that uses the GPS on the iPhone if you give a permission and tracks your whole journey. In fact, I'll show you it actually puts a track of the journey on your on a map. And then it will add the pictures or you can manually add the pictures and text if you want, of that trip. And so now you have this wonderful and I shared this publicly. This is available. Yeah, where do people go to follow along? Well, it's a couple steps dot com slash Laporte's, I think, is what you would do. And I think you can then see it without signing up. You may have to sign up. You can. Okay. So you can see the trip. This was Lisbon to Rome, the most recent trip. And you can see the pictures, and almost all of these are heavily, but almost all of them are with the iPhone. And they're snapshots. I agree, they're not doing art. I wanted some snapshots. So I feel very happy about there's food pictures. Oh, this is so fun. You're quite literally seeing your journey. And if you mentioned too that one of the benefits of polar steps is how easily you could then make this into a photo book. And this is free. And that's their monetization strategy is that you will want to make a book out of this. So I'm going to and we'll show that when it comes. I'm going to use this, but I also duplicated this into a very nice Apple journaling program called day one. Highly recommend. By the way, the rumor came out after that. Halfway through a trip. Gurman says, oh yeah, and apple is going to do its own journaling program. And Sherlock day one. I hope they don't, because day one is everyone's great. Amazing. So I used day one for my personal journal with a similar pictures, and they also make books. So the problem with polar steps is you can't really caption each photo. You have a text block and then all the photos. I don't think maybe you can when you start making the book. But I'm going to play with it both of them and make books from both of them. And you can be the judge of great. So bottom line I like having polar steps, I think that's a great way to share your trip. You don't have to go to somebody's house and bore them with a 5 hour slide show. You can just do it online. And this, by the way, the most richest church in Lisbon and Portugal, we were talking about how much wealth the church had, it's amazing. Anyway, Polish steps is great. iPhone was great. I didn't really need the insta I'm glad I brought it. I don't think I'll ever have to bring her fancy camera around again. Unless I wanted to say, okay, this is a journey I'm going to do street photography or something like that. So aunt Pruitt's looking at me right now and he's not happy. Sorry. That does make me wonder, though. You also brought or you said you were going to bring, and that was a pretty hefty box that had your recording equipment in it. Yeah, because there was some thought that I might have to as an emergency record some ads. And you also talked about maybe doing a little bit of audio recording. And then at least I thought we might want to kind of practice doing kind of a travelogue like we might want to do that in our dotage. I didn't use any of that. In fact, when I did have to make a commercial last minute, I just use the oh, because it microphone's really good on it. Oh, wow. And that commercial aired on the twit that davinder hosted a couple of weeks ago. And it was just a quick little thing. But I think the audio was decent. I did bring a lot of stuff I did not need to bring. As always. And so I will probably not do that again. But that was more, that was more a business thing than I thought I might have to do some ads. Lisa and I both when we recorded video narrated it. She's been doing that. And so her Instagram Lisa de Laporte, I think, is the Instagram. You'll see she'll go. And now we're standing in front of the pieta. And she'll do a whole thing. So she did it. And I did a little bit of that too. And I think those came out quite well too. I don't know if there's a market for it. I don't think so. Not necessarily to be this can be just for enjoying the experience. I realize it's all, it's really more for us. Yeah, and family. My mom is too old now to go to Italy but loves Italy. She loved it. Oh, sorry about that. Think about the opportunity later on down the line for Michael to be able to look back on that here. Mom's voice see the journeys that I guess you have to take a posterity. I don't think my kids have any I have 57,000 photos in my Apple photos. I don't think they're going to be going through the old family photos. Maybe they will. I don't know. I certainly wish that there were more of your grandparents, imagine if you could see your great grandparents or your great groups. No, I'm not going to talk about it because I'm going to get weepy. So never mind. I do wish that there were some things because there were opportunities for me to capture things, and I hadn't thought about it at the time. And when ant was on, he mentioned a really great thing is if you have the opportunity to sit down with a loved one and just record audio of a conversation to be able to play back. The problem is, and this becomes the big issue is, well, okay, now I've got it. I'm going to put it somewhere. How do I know it will be around generations? Yeah. And I think the cloud is a good solution better than say, I'm putting stuff on zip disks, right? The cloud at least they're going to keep their as long as they don't go out of business. They're going to keep renewing it. So you'll always be able to play it back over the Internet. But will Google photos or Apple photos be around in 200 years? Probably not. This is the other thing you get going to ancient places like Rome and Lisbon. You really get a sense of a lot of stuff doesn't survive. Yeah. A lot of stuff doesn't survive. Mostly if you wanted your photo album to be around for your great, great, great grandchildren, you should make a giant palace and put the photos up, paint them, get a nice gold frame. And then maybe invent a religion and then a religion, and then they'll survive. Anyway, I had a wonderful time. I miss y'all. It's great to be back. It's good to have you. Let's do a tech guy show. What do you say? Oh, hi yo. I guess I should ask you, okay, what are we doing today, John Ashton, so he told me dick Dee bartolo's coming up? Yes. The mad magazine's mad as writer and our gizmos, he'll have his gadget of the week. We will talk next week with rod pyle, I hope you watched this week in space this week, because they talked about, what is it called the rapid what do you call it? Unplanned? Disassembly. Rapid, unplanned disassembly of starship. And I think very interesting because, of course, the immediate spin from SpaceX is, well, this is all good. We learned a lot. It's good news. And of course, you're going to launch this rocket hundreds of times before humans get into it, and no one was hurt. Although a few cameras were destroyed, I understand. I think some debris hit somebody. No major injuries. But it was over the ocean and so it was kind of if it's going to go wrong, this is how it should go wrong. But I got to say, that's a little bit of spin. I know John and everybody say, oh, this is still good. You don't build how much did it cost to build that rocket? That specific one. You don't spend millions to blow it
