Team Secret Cleans Up At Esports Awards
"Team secret for the e sports awards that i did not watch at all They one team of the year. They won player of the year which was nisha and coach of the year. Which is hain. is that all correct syndrome. Correct what do you think of that. So teamster again no. Ti this year and other other games have had the kind of their big tournaments some of them at least league for example but secret essentially winning the last. If you wanna take out the last few weeks has been seven plus money. I wanna say eight events in a row. Yeah seven months. They want everything just winning. Literally everything would you. I mean obviously our daughter bubble. So we're gonna agree right. The doda words everything. i would agree with. I don't know if i would put nietzsche's player of the year. I think it's hard to pick one. Yeah but he would definitely be one other candidates right. So i mean as it always is with these multi game award shows right. It's easy for us to say that these are great choices because we don't follow the other games that are part of it nearly as much to be honest with you. I don't even know which games are eligible to win in the sports category. If it's dodo leagues he has go rainbows. Six call of duty. Like i don't know what games are included in this is. It's hard to imagine another team in any game being as dominant the secret where this year. I think that's fair to say like you need to basically when everything right and not only that but the competition needs to be tougher which is unlikely once again because of corona because you know arguably secret even had a really tough region to play and while this was happening wasn't like it was just free easy wins because the region was week or something still tons of teams so it's super impressive I'm happy coaches got a bit more recognition so gretz to heen as well. I think he's really elevated this team to the next level they just started owning after he joined. I feel like it made a pretty big difference at least down the stretch Ceo good stuff. The thing about these awards shows though is. I don't know how much stock to put in the general. It's always cool for the teams to get recognition like this But i wish maybe it was a little bit more transparent a little more defiant. How we're going to segue into this next kind of mini topic of what do you think of award shows for e. sports in general because from my perspective i'm used to watching the oscars. I don't really watch a lot of other award shows at all but the oscars. I watch every single year. It's an event you know it's fun to watch. Even if i hate all of the movies which is sometimes the case that they just pick like the criteria just doesn't make sense to me sometimes like these artsy fartsy like movies will sometimes win for no reason. According to me but again like what criteria are they using. I don't know maybe you just don't have any taste. No that's definitely. I love in bruges. It's a great movie. Don't try to get out obligation. But what do you think from east perspective because when you look at the movies just as you know. Let's just do a one to one here. It's pretty clear. Even without knowing the exact criteria it's movies of this category but for east. There's just it feels like it's not as black and white. There's just so many different games. What is even considered an e sport. Technically speaking like. I don't even know the answer that question. That's the thing i mean. I guess the analogy of the comparison is really good though because in movies. There's also like it's super subjective. Right like what do you consider. A good movie is very different. From one person to the next head would be considered true. I suppose what it's defined as an eastport is a game that yeah but how many how big of a following doesn't need to have how significant to the price does need to be if i host a tournament in prague for one hundred bucks on eastport best escort because then then a lot of things could have won but now i i don't know what the criteria is and i think that's what we're probably agreeing on right now is that Maybe maybe are transparent about it. I just haven't seen it. I'm not saying that's not the case But yeah. I don't even know what sport is because like you said if it's just money than short that's anything could be in eastport if it needs to be x. amount of player base and have tournaments consistently running like whatever the case may be but either way. I like the idea of it. The fact that this is. I believe the fifth year in a row that their continued to do it is cool people show up to the event. There were ranked tuxes. They're trying to make it. That's where i don't like it. Actually they're trying to make it to. I don't know if mainstream is the right word but they're just trying too hard to copy everybody else like just let people show up in fucking sweatpants like were gamers man. Nobody wants to wear a goddamn suit. Unless you're a fucking psychopath syndrome okay. Being honest a lot of people do like dressing up on occasion. I think they don't like having to wear a uniform. It's like that all the time but for special occasions i think people like to do something extra like but honestly now that you it. I think it would be super cool if our award shows had people show up and team jerseys of their favorite team instead of in tuxes right. I think it'd be cool
Volunteers still needed to test variety of COVID-19 vaccines
"While coronavirus cases are skyrocketing and communities are imposing new restrictions the nation's top infectious disease expert has his eyes on new vaccines that will likely be distributed next year Dr Anthony Fauci the head of the government's National Institute of allergy and infectious diseases says vaccines will be the way for life to get back to normal but he understands why people are nervous about being inoculated with drugs that were rushed to approval but the speed is a reflection of the extraordinary advances in scientific technology he says independent experts are reviewing vaccine data people with no skin in the game financially or otherwise a doctor from TI's comfortable only safe products will receive FDA approval I would without hesitation take the vaccine scientists are urging more volunteers to help test additional vaccine candidates Jackie Quinn Washington
Latest On A Military Conflict In Ethiopia
"Prime minister, Maybe Achmed won the Nobel Peace Prize. And yet less than a week ago, he launched military operations in the country's northern region. Now that conflict is threatening to turn into an all out civil war. NPR's later Peralta walks us through what's happening and later to begin. Give us a sense of why the prime minister had won the Nobel Prize. He changed everything in Ethiopia. I mean at home, he ushered in a raft of democratic reforms, and then he also made peace with Ethiopia's mortal enemy, Eritrea. During his Nobel lecture, he talked about how he fought in that war, and he called it the epitome of hell. Let's listen to a bit of that speech of Sin Brothers slaughtering brothers on the battlefield. I have seen all their men, woman and Children trembling in terror under the really short ofthe bullets and alterations. You are makes for betterment, heartless and savage mint, he says. War makes for Bitterman heartless and savage men and when I became to power, people on the streets of Ethiopia told me that he was sent by God and now He has started this new conflict in the same part of the country where this war between Ethiopia and Eritrea happened and his air forces now bombing targets in his own country. What's the cause of the conflict? And at this point, how bad is the fighting? So it's complicated because, but it's essentially a power struggle. Document came to power in 2018 after huge popular uprising, and one of the things that he did was dismantled Ethiopia's ruling party, which had run the country with violence and brutality for almost 30 years, the guys who ran the show, where the TP left the Ti Guy People's Liberation Front. And they were sidelined. Since then, Abby has accused them of destabilizing the country by stoking ethnic tensions. Abby's allies have accused them of assassinations, including one attempt against Abby himself in last week. The government says that the TPLF sent forces to attack a federal military base, and that's when Abby ordered his army into the ticket region. Now how bad the fighting is, has been hard to report because the government has shut down phone lines and the Internet is often the region. I'm still waiting for a visa. Reuters, which does have reporters on the ground eyes reporting, hundreds are dead on each side. Sudan State media has also said that many refugees have started fleeing to their country. So it's serious. What are the TV I fighter saying at this point, it's It's a lot of bravado. They're calling the government dictatorial and treasonous. And those are the same words that the government is using against them. And they say that they're open to talk. But at the same time, you know, they also say that if they're hit hard, they plan on hitting back Justus hard. Either. We talked about the threat of civil war. How higher the stakes here they're huge. Some analysts say that this could be like Yugoslavia where Ethiopia breaks up in Ethiopia, by the way, is The second largest country in Africa by population, and the conflict also has the potential to draw in Eritrea and even Sudan, and if it's protracted, it can really destabilize the region that is already super vulnerable. And we can't really think of thiss as just a regional government against a powerful federal government. I mean, this is really one well armed, well trained military against another well armed, well trained military in a really fragile A place in Africa. That's NPR's ater. Peralta speaking to us from Nairobi. Thank you. Thank you. A
"ti" Discussed on The Breaks
"You're when teddy riley was getting really getting out like yeah. They was like when teddy riley was really getting his foot in there making his name like baby face was right there. They getting his foot in his name as a writer producer. Ti was petty. Not the the battle bus. Which apparently he's he said it now. He's saying he's down to do it. I guess he taught busted. Let's do it but You know what it is. The average happy the bus was on its own after know what he went on now when he was on he was on Alpha omega Our oh put them in a dirt. Put them in the dirt on. I play that that'd be first off with a minute. Great but form apetit. I had been busted for the guns. Yeah i know. After they came average. I will not bad too but boy that that will matter of fact that that make state was hard but after our name of but it's on my external hard drama drama. It was it was against the rules. It was it was a hard mixed eight but after that news broke it was like but now go with busted. I agree because it wouldn't make sense from. If i was an artist. I would wanna battle somebody who i was. 'cause okay. Konya once said that his biggest competition when he was at his graduation lay registration with justin timberlake. He's just timberlake is like very high level so as an artist. I would want to go against who i failed. During my reign was operating at high level. How do you want better. I understood why. Ti wanted to go against fifty cent because ti was looking at it like well. We both came in two thousand three and two thousand through trap. Music came out in two thousand three. Your debut album came out. The our rains as top tier artists at the time was at the same time. So yeah i wanna i wanna go against you. The he made it a more north against the south type with the new york versus the south. But i understood that like no. We both were really into our own and our peak at the same time. So yeah yes to my competition type of matchup to underline thing. We'll be his history like who's music catalog matches a better years. After the fact that the time everybody everybody was was at the time was the big artist. But let's see how you use exams. Now which is what people sitting about fifty cents versus in his music back then. Sounds better than fifty cents music most albums on betting drying but outside of that is fair game. Granny massacre wasn't that bad. Neither was curtis or before destruct. But they were not. You're trying that is that is the one but So i get. Why like bro. Tell the bus like you were leaving new school. I was like in high school. Like isn't that fair for trying to wrap it not yet not fair for me to go against you if that you making. I wasn't even in the game at that point with that being said so out of left field which should have happened long ago. In my opinion jeff jenkins aka young. Jisi a came band snowman a challenge to ti. Saying hey like i said you talking you ask a lot of people for challenges her to say granted. Ti damage saying. I see a lot of. You're asking for me and jisi and if the snowman is down for it out with it. But he hasn't said anything so if he has to say that i'm not gonna say anything until he says anything so. I think that's what prompted jesus to say. Oh well. I'm ready for which i'm looking forward to because i got in it but i. I don't think it will be a walk in the park for ti as you repeated painted. Don't talk show which god never would have done. I hope it's not what genie is it. What you know. What is this a daytime talk show. When i first heard you can take me back to tuesday. I don't wanna see. I don't want to say i don't wanna say without known the next. You don't wanna see all white audience. I don't wanna see. God is that he got certain things for seventeen point. Five the bricks were seventy five bra on daytime cbs. I'm just just. Don't have the station. But i don't wanna see him go. Nbc doing j. I don't wanna know what this 'cau- the do grabbing alongside a guy named blood wrong. I don't wanna see him. Daytime up shobra blood road but No we yes so now. The next kids getting suspended from school for t shirts specs. I don't wanna see him. Daytime campaign the snowman Because they've got somebody that got. What if you got banned got suspended from school. 'cause shirt yeah man so yeah coming up on november nineteenth tee adverse. Jesus vs. I got ti. But i don't think it's going to be a walk in and you and our friend of the show tried to convince me that just wash u. Man he washroom go watch them play in front of mixing. I bet you. Jesus plays something from Die and can't ban the snowman either one of those mixed because those two most notable make anything. I don't think he's going to play but he's playing. The song trample die. That was on the mix tape trabert that he has to play that. I don't think. I don't think there's rules against doing that either. Had i think that will be mix tape songs to get a dallas king was all that was hard mixed eight. It was and most of us.
Seattle City Council could consider new car-tab fees after I-976 thrown out in court
"With $30 car to have struck down last week by the state Supreme Court. The city of Seattle is talking about asking voters to again approve higher vehicle fees to help Phil looming budget shortfalls. Almost Carleen Johnson. CNN drivers pay an extra $60 card tab fee for bus service, but that measure expires at the end of this year. During a Tuesday budget committee meeting, City Councilman Andrew Lewis said. It's time to consider asking voters to renew that fee with the looming obstacle of initiative 9 76 now out of the way awful to mime and initiative, rightfully determined to be blatantly unconstitutional by the court. 9 76 was approved by voters for a third time across much of the state last year, but Not in Seattle, so there may be a willingness to pay that higher fee. No comment from there. Jenny Jerkins office. But the council did talk about her proposal to cut 60 million from the Seattle Dio ti could spell trouble for the move. Seattle plan to fix sidewalks and would next 10 million from the city for a contribution towards a new light rail station. A gram
Valve Passed on the Chance to Hold The International in Shanghai
"It presented by E Sports Network earlier this week. We covered the ti price full crossing a record forty million dollars as of right now. It's set to keep climbing until next July that did not have to be the case according to the co-founder of Chinese tournament platform MBA TV valve had the opportunity to hold TI and shanghaied. This fall right now world is happening in Shanghai in a bubble like an environment and so far it's gone off without a hitch according to this comment perfect world vowels partner in China was trying in Spring to move the international Shanghai so it could be held this year the plan had full support of the local Shanghai government as well. It seemed to be almost identical situation to what's happening for worlds right now. After that comment other important voices in Chinese Esports seconded, the claim valve has been taking a cautious approach to holding e sports events and that's fine and vacuum, but the issue is the competition's have not been replaced with online events. Like they've had for every other major Eastport everything Dota 2 has just been on indefinite hold since the pandemic started. That's led to many DOTA teens releasing their rosters. Welcome to come in competitions aren't up and running soon valves handling of the pandemic from a tournament organizer perspective has been critiqued by most of the DOTA community at this point. This is a game that has been primarily supported through one major event for years as League of Legends keeps growing and expanding DOTA has remained fairly stagnant with the poor handling of the situation. It could put the scene in a dangerous spot overall still if the boss a price quote continues its
Saudi Arabia to Host $500,000 Dota 2 League Tournament
"Next thing is also tournament related. This one came out of nowhere. I don't even know what to think so. The Saudi Federation for Electronic, an intellectual sports will be running a five hundred thousand dollar tournament I believe it was at two million ri-als which is equivalent to five hundred, thousand dollars. Between the months of October ninth and December thirty first. This is out of. So. I've obviously had some history Saudi Arabia you know having grown up there and whatnot. So I always have like this. I don't know if affinity is the right word but I root on people that are of Middle Eastern descent when they're playing because it's such a small minority, right? So like Is, basically, collect a collective of a bunch of Middle Eastern people. I don't know anybody like anybody that plays from Saudi Arabia I duNno Saudi Arabia even recognize owed to. Strange. So. So this tournament just to be clear is for Saudi. Arabian players only. Yeah. It's not for the Middle East in general and just called the Saudi Arabian leak. Like it doesn't. Article that we've read what the limitations are for entry. Does five, hundred thousand dollars professional teams of Saudi Arabia region region. Was the Saudi Arabia region as an Saudi Arabia or The middle region maybe it's a sad writing I don't know it. So it could mean a multiple think if it's Middle Eastern, they would have said Middle Eastern. But if it's Saudi Arabian, it could it could mean like some of the countries like around like you know like, Yemen or like Dubai, for example, is probably the most popular eastport area in that region. but I believe five hundred thousand dollars is split between Doda and two other games that they haven't announced yet. But either way that's a shit ton of money Fika? I think is one of them actually. But really out of nowhere. And very interesting. I'M GONNA keep my eye on this one for sure. So it says eight best professional teams of Saudi Arabia region will be competing in the first tournament of the event. So I'm guessing that's And Those eight teams of Saudi Arabia, who are they? What are the best teams in Saudi Arabia? Doda. If United Radio in players, there's not. Yeah I mean it's definitely not a top tier tournament by any means, but is it even to your three? No there's. Player quality I know. I'm trying to think about their some players that might be Saudi Arabia that actually immortal but I'm not sure if they are. I don't think so. It really doesn't sound familiar. So. You'd know better than me. But I've never heard of even one team being Saudi Arabian before so. Question is if these professional teams of Saudi Arabia are allowed to take place from the other regions? That's what I'm looking at here because I know quite a few players from the Middle East that are very high Mr. so if it wasn't Saudi only, you could see some familiar faces in this tournament like for example, offer Moosh or manage or of course. Some of the players from `Nigma if they got into this Yeah. But considering `Nigma haven't announced anything about it. We're going to they're not playing it either because they didn't choose to or because they weren't allowed to I want to say the country that's produced the most players that I've consistently heard of his Jordan would you agree with that from the middle of? The most players you've heard about yeah, which does China, but I don't know if the Middle East Oh. Yeah. For sure I Jordan is the hot spot forever, and that's not that far from Saudi. Arabia? So Yeah. So who who have you heard from Jordan? Miracle. Is One. WHO's the other guy? Might just two people honestly I yep. Sore and maybe there's words we're actually. But even three would be more than any other middle. Eastern. Region because what is G. H. is Lebanon. Lebanese and then. We is. Between Syrian Romanian I consider him Syrian but I know he doesn't because I actually didn't know I thought he was just Flat out the first time I talked with him. I knew he was Middle Eastern right away. Is based on his accent. But, yeah. But yeah, it's really cool to have players in that region and We'll see what the future holds. This is out of nowhere. So I don't know how to react honestly. No, it's been so little promoted. The fact that this article came out after the tournament began it's Kinda. Interesting I, don't know that's true. I forgot it was even October now Jesus. Yeah. The. Going in some capacity, but we just don't know the stretcher.
Esports Round-Up: Huya, DouYu and Halo
"Let's start with though you and Julia we talked about this when tens at announced intentions to potentially combine the two massive streaming sites but today the deals intentions were made official. Both sides had relatively equal viewership share in the Chinese market, and now they combined to be the big streaming site in the world. Of course, tencent controls the majority voting power with the company is well, it's ten cents world we just live in it over in Doda to land valve is going to pump the TI prize pool. Until it bursts this past weekend, the price will which grows thanks to a small percentage of sales of cosmetic items in Doda crossed the. Forty million dollar mark. That's absurd. Last year, the price will was thirty, four million, and this year would have been around the same had ti habitant August like it has every year for the last decade or so though Ti being postponed until apparently August twenty, twenty, one according to the last vowed statement that price pool is set to just keep growing if trends hold true price will be over sixty million by next August and if that is the case I'm not. Sure. Any eastwards event will ever top it. I'm grey haired Geezer reminiscing about the Game Q. and finally speaking of Reminiscing Hilo sports has had the most positive momentum. The eastward seen has had in years this morning envy announced a halo. Roster. They joined cloud nine and central's as major eastwards organizations who recently announced rosters. There is something happening behind the scenes here ahead of the release of Halo Infinite which has been delayed indefinitely and doesn't have an exact release date. Today one hundred, even released their CS go roster. Now that doesn't mean much by itself. I don't really want to speculate on it, but it could be opening up the or to a new game and halo seems like a likely possibility that's offers up upset of the sports minute I'll be back tomorrow or possibly Wednesday depending on how much news comes out tomorrow with a recap of Group and League of legends world ahead of the bracket stage would start later this week.
Edit Your Weddings on the iPad!
"Welcome back to another episode of this week. In photo I'm your host Frederik van Johnson Today on Hodzi is Rep Marley like I said in the intro there he's a wedding photographer destination wedding photographer he knows his way around the camera way around his way around the wedding business. In fact, he's in the not hall of fame. So he knows his way around this industry, but he does a lot of his post processing on an IPAD. So that's what intrigued me about this array. Right. Welcome to the Joanne. How's it going man? I really appreciate the opportunity this is great. I'm excited to talk to you and I connected on twitch. Lurking in one of your streams, watching you edit photos on an IPAD and you know what I said when I saw that blasphemy. Early. Actually get that. A lot of people don't like what are you? What are you doing on the IPAD? This is it's definitely not something you would typically see when you watch photographer edit for sure. Yeah. Yeah. So yeah, I wanNA talk about that. Well, let's talk before we get started with let's talk about your pedigree you know with with photography how'd you get started and how did you get inducted into the not hall of fame? So I got into the wedding industry actually from I've been doing this. Technically, my business started in two thousand and ten. So going on ten years about eleven years here in the next few months but I started my business technically while I was in, college? And it's definitely one of those things to where there's just listening to have done so bad. Interview before. So. You really yes. Yes. Cool. Your you're perfect. Your Voice is perfect your audio serve big your lighting and background or perfect. Just thinking this is a conversation is chatting. All right. You start. You may answer the question again and ask again I'll before okay let me let me pause that from not pausing banana. Leaves some blank space for my edit here. So here we go. Okay Aereo. Case a here we go. was I on a two-shot wasn't a two yard shot Aereo. Okay. So before we dive into your workflow and you know the IPAD and how you're able to use that in in in a professional setting, give us a little bit a little bit of background. First of all first question would be you the what what's your origin story I always ask people what the radio spider you know story is how did you come Zuber Chiro? How'd you get into this this crazy world of taking pictures? Okay. So it actually started for me out started out on the yearbook staff of my high school those the first time that camera had been putting my hands. The teacher was like, Hey, we need someone to take pictures in that moment I was like sure all do it, but I really had no clue what I was doing. But as I began to take pictures in high school, I found passion for it fell in love with it. and. That's really where it all began and then when I went to college actually applied to be a part of the magazine staff that would go around and take pictures for the magazine for the university I went to and from there really just kind of became a snowball effect. I. Guess You could say it in college was probably one of the few students who had his own DSL our cameras it was a canon x Ti. So it was another fancy, but you gotta start somewhere and so you know I was really proud to have my own cameron year in college and so as. My friends began to get engaged. They came to me Be Willing to take our engagement photos sure and I would just take photos and that right there is what I guess. The snowball effect is and what started everything and so. As I began to take more and more of my friends engagements eventually led into weddings and was really just doing it for fun. And before I knew it though by the time I had graduated from College I had enough photos to put a portfolio together for a website, and so you know graduated no SEC. Okay Let's see if we can make something work and so I put a website together and then the fun began of trying to figure out how to. Grow it into a business probably a whole different rabbit trail, but it did at eventually grew and grew and grew to where it is today
Team Secret Makes it Eight-Straight at OGA Dota Pit S3
"And Onto Tournament News Cinder man does not yet just finished. Congratulations to them. It feels like it was a super fast tournament like not compared to Mega Mega was a month in this one. Felt like Mega Lull Omega. League are making league. Sorry. Reading too much chat lately. Yeah it was. It was definitely shorter I don't remember how many days whole tournament lasted, but it wasn't. It wasn't very long just a few days really at least the. I think it was just a few days. The whole thing was there. Anyway. It was. It was quick. In an absolute shocker. Secret. Won, the tournament in a three zero finals putting them on I believe eight. Consecutive Three, Oh finals. Did lose a game in the playoffs the first round. They beat VP prodigy two-to-one. Who they then faced again in the finals and they went three. Oh Five and one against them. That was their only loss. Impressive absolutely. Unbelievable. I mean I'm saying kind of sarcastically right because we're just getting used by, but it's kind of insane but they keep doing it. and. Other teams aren't catching up. It's it's amazing. They are. The true kings right now and people are saying they don't have the international competition and that's why there's no Chinese teams. There's no a well one American team they played against in one it recently, they play against G I think but is not the only team. That's a bit disrespectful to. That other NATO. Yeah This is what a toxicity comes from people like me making. Now so I don't know if there's honestly if those international competition I think they would lose more games but I, don't know if they would have lost series still I don't know how good the Chinese scene is right now. Compared to secret they're just that good. But we've talked about this before it is a, it's a huge shame. There's no ti like for secrets. Sake that is like go on like Ti's next year let's say nothing changes and they don't end up winning. It's GonNa feel so bad for them knowing that they will like if it was about now they would be in extreme advantage I feel like they would easily be the number one seed or whatever you WanNa call it going in the free runner for sure. worth noting from this time as well just to. To finish off on this VP prodigy got second. They're playing really well, and they gave secret a true challenge in I believe the first game was pretty close in the finals and the kind of got run over. The duration of the Games, wasn't that long but game one was relatively close and they also beat them in a game. They were the only team to beat them in a game. In the first series they had the quarterfinals actually one game one, and then they lost two games after obviously alliance got third and then the new Nov either we talked about last week fourth. So pretty good start for them is one of the best results Navias had lately I. Think. With this the new roster they took flight moon I believe they were called before, right? Yeah. So. Good stuff secret keeps owning. as far as. Just, following up on the Doda pit stuff. This was the first tournament to introduce the like stricter re streaming rules that valve has allowed them to. don't think any major streamer watch the Games right I can't I can't think major streamers yet. No, I don't. I wish I had more information on who streamed it at all. Because we really interested to know if anybody did it because we talked about this last week how it was. The asks from Doda pit as expected were extreme. And would have to be followed to the t obviously, and it would just

I'm Having Boundary Issues With My Parents
"Scott is with us. In Atlanta Georgia, Hi Scott what's up man? Hello Dave a doctor Doni Personal Dave. Congratulations Faculty is such a great addition to the lineup. We'll thank you we agree. Brother Scott and your check in the mail rather. All right waiting for that since I'm on. Right, now, so anyway, to my question my wife and I like I said, we're on baby step two. We've got a ways to go currently cash flowing kids through college my parents who are eighty years old never saved for retirement They've I called in last. Ti- last year You help me guys guide through bailing my parents out of a financial prices and then you send them through FPU and set them up with a financial coach they fully completed both and you also sent me boundaries which I read. last month, they called me to tell me not ask me that they needed need to co-sign a loan for them because my mom wants cosmetic surgery, they can't afford. At eighty though. Yeah. I don't even WANNA ask Ya. Yeah I I could make it exciting but it's It has to do with dental work. So I told them I was not going to dismiss the principles I live by to enable their behavior especially after they have sensibly learn the same thing. I did anyway my birthday was August thirtieth it came and went without a caller card. My father now spends time posting passive aggressive stuff on facebook about how children are supposed to treat their parents. Now I know I'm right by co-signing. And I'm not sure from a relationship standpoint what I'm supposed to do here I wouldn't let them starve or be thrown out on the streets but this is a want not a need. we're all angry obviously one of us who's right. But we're at astounding. Hurt, so bad I'm sorry. Ask got hate that for your brother. So. Here's the deal when it comes to what's the right thing to do financially of course, you know that you're right men when it comes to the right thing to do relationship of course, you know you don't need validation but you're right you drew a boundary that was best for you and for your family and you held them to it and I'm proud of you for that and you're getting to see what the other side of a boundary looks like when Someone Ping's off your the walls or the fences or the boundaries you drew and they choose to react immaturely and the hard part. Is You love your parents. You Love Your Mom you love your dad individually and together, and they're choosing to make their own path as adults are able to do, and that hurts in that stinks and you're going to have to grieve that But the reality is there eighty they're allowed to do whatever they want to do and I would suggest you turn off facebook and don't listen to the nonsense and you continue to be mature and you continue to be adult and yes, you send them cards on their birthday because children honor their parents and you make sure they are included when it's appropriate but. You'RE GONNA have to grieve this part of man because I just stinks. I'm sorry. Hey, for the only the only recompense you've got this, there's only one kind of a relationship that requires money to be transferred. It's called prostitution. And so if your relationship is money dependent. You're in that class. You don't have a relationship in other words. Because that's not a relationship that's a transaction agreed. I agree and so. I'm just saying it's the only way you're. You have to get your brain around Oslo. It's chapter two. I believe maybe one even in boundaries. That says you're not crazy. Remember that chapter. You're not crazy you because when you get this paying off the boundary, John described it. What you start to feel is is that you're crazy like you did something wrong I, a- bad son and my being a legalist being too hard core and so forth, and it's like No. Sky You're just asking how to deal with this. Well. Yeah. I, mean nobody wants to pick up the phone at this point. In so here's the deal call men and check in how's everybody doing. You can be the mature grown-up when there and if they choose to respond in immature ways, then then you can begin to develop new boundaries against that. The challenge with boundaries is we feel so good and we finally draw and we forget that boundaries do have consequences and boundaries do have emotional and feeling you know responses and sometimes people don't respond well to our boundaries and it hurts boundaries when someone feels like they're boundaries, me someone feels like they're entitled to something of yours that they're not entitled to. And you tell them that. Almost, always, there's a response of anger but I think we get so excited that we're drawn boundary that we feel good and we do it and it's like. We forget that tim be up against it and say, well, then you're not my son I, don't love you or if I really do cocaine and the living room. Dad Than I just won't let you be my dad if you're going to throw me out for doing that. I'm sorry we don't do cocaine. We're living room or it's going to be your fault that my. Kids are GONNA fill in the right. So people get to respond to that going to respond grandchildren are going to be hungry because of you because of you giving this thirty six year old without job for two and a half years any money you know this kind of thing and so your it's your fault. Somehow it's not your fault man I'm it does hurt when. It does breaks your heart, and so but I agree with John I mean just call them and have a conversation but here's the thing. Don't try to call them and fix it now doesn't fix they can't they're not there's no fixing this they're just going to get over it or not. Yeah I. Always want to encourage people to be mature party respectful party the relational party, but also protect yourself. Don't keep putting yourself in harm's way. For Scott.
SCCC is taking a break
"Didn't realize that until now but anyhow. Moving onto the next topic SCC. See is taking a break center I'm just GonNa read a quick quote from an article. SEC His former team astor announced last month that the player decided not to renew his contract with the organization and with many of the top contenders from the Chinese seen also undergoing roster changes. The fans were expecting to see him in a New Jersey this month however in a stream session from last night, he announced that he will actually take a competitive break as his negotiations. With a new team reached a deadlock. He didn't disclose the names of those who negotiated with, but he said that parts involved could not reach a compromise. Obviously, we don't really have that much information can't say I'm too surprised considering there's no DP plan in place as of yet. So there's no real reason to be employing players for teams if they're not under contract already, right That's the way I look at it at least. Yeah. I mean the word in could mean multiple different things right? It could mean. That he was trying to negotiate a higher salary than they were willing to pay him. So here's from an ORG perspective. It could be that he was in talks with teams, but they found another player that fit better with their ideology. If it just says negotiations like that. Especially, if it's translated from Chinese, right, we can speculate what this actually means. But one thing's for sure when SEC sees on, he's really fucking good and I'm pretty sure we'll see him later on next year probably and it's not the worst time to take a break. I think something that it's the article two is that he's going to move to another city that's cheaper. He hasn't spent his money from Ti. More was at ti seven that new got second. has bought a house or anything, and he's just been living in Shanghai which has been expensive. So He wants to save up some more cash, which is a wise move nothing wrong with that. Yes. That's what people should do. But often do not but you know. It's kind of the reason I'm a little bit uncertain about the wording is that we don't really hear many stories out of China like that where a player was not signed by a team and therefore takes a break because the contract could not be reached. Like terms that both sides agreed to. It's so unprecedented that it just makes me wonder if that's the case, maybe it happens a lot and we just don't hear about it and it's because SEC who had really high demands and then it's a special case because of that. But considering we have tons of stars and China that have
Chromebooks Gain Share of Education Market Despite Shortages
"Four our first story pandemic has been huge for laptops and Google secret profit is winning it all chromebooks because we got, we got a whip out the history books here. We've come a long way with the old laptop computer my first computer ahead to live with my legs because it was a gateway, it was like to metric ton the only computer with a cow theme I think that's what they were going for their and then compaq laptops. Schools are snatching these up at such a rapid rate in preparation for distant learning that crumbs global market share for computers has climbed to ten percent from eight percent last year, which brought Jack and I do a key question. We found fascinating what Tech Company is. Dominating for laptops right now, this same tech company that was dominating for laptops three years ago Nick Microsoft. If there's a Microsoft makes its own laptops, but it's windows software still powers get this eighty three percent of laptops globally we're not just talking about those surface tablets. We're all seeing commercials for now Dell HP Lenovo, most of them are running on windows just like they were thirty years ago and you like look around a college philosophy class and see a lot of silver rectangle or apple macbooks not the winner smack books have just a tiny market according to the. Quick shoutout to all the teachers out there the new frontline workers of this country
Breaking Down Valve's Response to DPC
"So I wasn't sure how to approach US exactly but this may seem a little weird. We're going to read off the entire post that vowed made. We're going to split it up so that people don't get sick on my voice, of course. It's essentially read it in your normal voice or you're going to read it in your dramatic voice because if you read it a new dramatic voice, people get sick of it after one minute I what I was not planning on doing anything in my normal voice. But now that you brought it up, it would annoy people it makes me want to do it more now but regardless how you are. Valve has responded Holy Shit in valve has finally responded. To the community regarding the season that is to come. We've kind of split up between that and the Doda TV slash streaming. News. So let let's talk about the first thing which is the DPC's. So again, it's going to be a bit of a along read. We've heard a lot of the complaints re recently about the state of the DP and we agree that there's more that we should do. We want it to use this blog to walk you through what happened before what our thoughts were and what we will do going forward. Spring Twenty twenty. Once the extent of the covid nineteen pandemic became clear. We posted our plans to delay the international started pre-booking arenas for various alternative dates and countries around the world. We then began researching how to execute the international based on how different, how the different pandemic scenarios could play with the hope that we'd be able to host it as soon as possible since the spring DPC events could no longer operate anymore we started reaching out to the organizers to see what they wanted to do going forward. Some of these organizers shared their desires to run third party events to cover the period march through the end of summer. Summer Twenty twenty twenty one split this up between you and You keep going. I'll do the summer twenty, twenty, do the rest. Sorry Twenty twenty as we approached the middle of the summer, the volatility of the pandemic had grown significantly. We became very concerned about the impact it would have on future deep-sea events and the International. The global situation meant that cross regional play would be unlikely for a period of time and we have since seen scenarios globally and other competitions where teams from certain countries had to be excluded after qualifying do abrupt travel restrictions and complications. Americans can't go anywhere syndrome unless it's Ukraine Hanley while we had that was not part of the quote just to let you guys. Inter and you're. Not The competent then I would love under sprinkle in a little couple things like that just to spice it up you know but anyway. While we had already assumed that having a cry for the events was not in the cars we wanted to at least have confidence able to bring all teams together across region competition. We felt that was a very important component of how we allocate DC points for the International. We were also unsure of when the international itself would happen and given the significant lead time needed. The increase spread and the virus made harder to model out a timeframe with confidence. The potential of the season as narrative feeling to detach from the path towards the international was negative for us doing that would also necessitate a DP point decay system, which in and of itself isn't a bad thing but having to abruptly introduced decay midseason if the landscape changes has some additional downsides. Furthermore, we had also received some feedback from a couple of or that were either worried about the quality of the broadcast being lower or reluctant to want to operate GPC events in the fall altogether while neither the Cross region competition nor the relative distance to the international or absolute requirements. We felt the DPC as both the function of the international, and also as a coherent product for fans would be better served by holding off on them for. Now given that our plan was that we'd make the upcoming months open and clear for other leagues and Events to operate. Our approach historically has been to want third party tournus be able to exist outside of the international though the degree of that has been fluid over the years demands from fans and players for more structured circuits to lead to increased. Our hope was that we could both achieve a better and more coherent relationship between DC and TI. By approaching it this way as well as still along for third party events to have an impact with the overall Anders Zolt for fans still being that, there would be entertaining content to watch. In the fall. I'll give you this parrot this last section center in the you're not paying attention or you want me to read everything still you don't want them finish talking about this one I mean, do you want to break it up that way? That's fine as well as I guess, we should read the next. Okay. Moving forward. Soon. After we announced that there were not immediately proceeding that we were not immediately proceeding with GPS planned we received a lot of negative feedback from fans. We think that a lot of the points that were raised were reasonable criticisms toward us especially because we did not communicate what our intentions were and what they could expect in the future. that it doesn't say there guys. For this upcoming competitive season, there are going to be at least four third party events and leaks in the EU CIS, three in China and a few others that are still in the preliminary planning stages and are not able to commit at this time. However, there is still going to be a lot of teams, Casas organizers and fans around the world that are not going to be meaningfully served based on the current trajectory, and that is our fault for not pushing on those and supporting them enough. With that in mind, we started reaching out to many more tournament organizers to offer help and financial support in order to be able to create increased coverage globally for the remainder of the year we expect that these eventually gradually announced over the remaining season as they as soon as they are ready to communicate to fans and teams. And other feedback we got from players as well as fans was wanting more clarity in what we were thinking where the likely dates for deep-sea and tied to resume. Our look right now is that we're anticipating the start of the in the first month or two of twenty twenty one. Our hope is that by the end by the time, the first deep-sea leak concludes travel limitations will be more predictable. Spontaneous restrictions will be less likely this allowing for majors with Cross region competition happen where also operating under the assumption that the most likely outcome is for the International to happen in Stockholm in August twenty, twenty one. while. We have other countries backups. We recognize that fans would be upset if we moved to another location if the time savings
How did Andy Murray win that?
"Right Okay Day to the US Open. How on Earth did Andy Murray do that Catherine? He's just one from four, six, four, six, one, three down. How has he done that somebody explained to me Name Messing with the lewd tonight is the plum street in the deepened. Question isn't it? I mean what's going on? Well, they said to two women who we had to know primarily a CEO Tim. If you had to attribute that combat come back to one thing and one thing I think we're on a time limit. What would it be and he said halt. I think I mean obviously, that is that that is a word that covers a broad spectrum of things all of them are. Totally embodied by Andy Murray persistence to nasty doggedness stopping this. But obselete hot is what got him through a very bizarre tennis match today I mean I'm sure in the annals of time we remember the witness of if the match that will suitable fade away and we'll remember the school line in the emotion whatever ends up coming in the aftermath, but it was a It was a rookie right of a tennis match for for a long time. someone on twitter said that there was once a racehorse who died and when they cut the race open they realized he had a heart that was bigger than any other race horse in history and that feels like the kind of thing that might happen with Andy. Murray one day. That's a morbid take on them on a very joyous occasion for Andy. Murray. But it is one of those things isn't it? Because we think of Mary is so relatable and yet. On occasion like this, we I genuinely have no idea how he does something like that. It's it's thrilling to watch but I, come explain it. He operates on a different level of guts and defend defiance and resilient to what I'm capable of even imagining. In the you say that was a bit move it but didn't the encore interview immediately off the match the first question was Andy. We buried at the Australian Open last year and yet he He was just an alternate set of on the sports accidental turn of phrase unfortunately most well, we'll maybe fortunately a lot of these faces obscured by a mask, but I would quite like to have seen his full facial reaction to the declaration that he'd been buried the tennis community. Hopefully hopefully, we're looking at about fifty years down the road a sixty or something like that for. To have this. This forensic analysis. David Lewis let's get out of this. Yeah. Let's do that. Tell you what I think. We have just a bit of history in order so that we know exactly where we are with the Sandy Murry story. This is a man that was supposed to retire twenty months ago and. He didn't he went and had a hip surgery he went and had a new metal, hip. He then made a comeback and the combat went really well, and he won't doubles clean said he played mixed doubles with Serena Williams, at Wimbledon and then he went on won the singles title in Antwerp and it was just amazing and then he looked like he was hitting the buffet Z. looked like he was in real trouble when he had the complications and what was it called it the impingement of the joint with which which was think caused by sort of spare type thing on the hip and is causing all sorts of trouble didn't play the Australian Open this year I personally thought he was probably finished really at that point for. Twenty time. And slow behold he comes back place last week in Cincinnati Stroke New York has those two great wins over Varun Ti and then. Lost didn't look great against Manashe rich but comes into this match and a half to say I felt pretty sheep pretty. Confident on his behalf I thought he would. He would have struggle against a very good player world number forty, eight Yoshito Nishioka from Japan. He's twenty four years of age Manu beat Dan Evans. The Australian Open, this year, and who just has one of those really solid sprightly games left handed can hurt you but can also stay in rallies and for an hour and a half. He made Andy Murray. Look terrible Andy Maryland made himself look terrible and At that point I said on the radio and I know I said it on the radio because the BBC sport website copied and pasted my words into their text portal and I, got seventy four negative votes as a result of the words that I added which were Four six, four, six, one, three, headlined. He may not be able to do this anymore and I said this is one of the worst performances I've ever seen from Andy Murray to Grand Slam. He's got a metal hip, and he may not be able to do this anymore but looking at this having covered. So many of his matches I've never seen anything quite like it before past is not feeling very well, I, expected to see a fight tooth and nail his opponent is good and I thought he could cause problems but I expected it to be hyper competitive and Murray would win but it's not even close. And I stand by every single word that.
The Story of N0tail
"Heard of og you know how a rag tag group of discards Cinderella their way to not one but two of the biggest wins in the history of sports, how a pub star a quitter. A coach and a comedian. Defied every conceivable expectation and made history. Friendship. then. There's the long-suffering sweetheart who made it all happen the heart and soul of Oji the God in whose image it was created. The Flower, the rainbow, the river, the big daddy himself. Johann Soon Stein. The Feisty adorable little. Viking. You know is no tail was born and raised in the East sports powerhouse. That is Denmark like a lot of Doda grates he got his start in heroes of new worth where at the age of fifteen he met his future best friend and brother in arms fly it feels it feels great winning winning for a fourth time. Be. Easy Really great man? Say together fly in no tail took Hawn by storm. Once that scene began to die down, they transitioned to Doda to. Set their sights on a new challenge. The biggest event is sports had ever seen the international twenty thirteen. Let's say, no, till was confidence I'll agree I like. Best they get maybe a little too confidence double guilty by Dr. Five. Days destroy the triple, all trump annual tighten the top wrecks and g G. Come down fanatic. At being limited by the Malaysians Orange bullivant, themselves would unfortunately fly in no tail never managed to cement themselves as the kings of this new game like they wanted. Unable to find a group of truly like minded players once valued loyalty and synergy over raw individualistic talent. They spent years hovering just below the top tier Gareth snow. This tournament it didn't go the way you guys wanted it to go what what do you think? The reasons were. All in all. I. Think there's been a bunch of things coming to this disappointing result and. There's not so much could have done about it i. think we did try our best of somehow they'd always find themselves at the butt end of a disappointment a- disbanding. Kick team secret. We did feel like a super team, but then there all this letter tournament. Throat they got secret by the jugular and they take ended up losing. That hills really hard. After I kind of saw it coming just months to the next ti fly. No tells found themselves kicked from the very team. They had just joined. The crazy thing is that more than perhaps any other player? The community loved no tail. He was funny out of all the things you could have decided to call yourself. Why Big Daddy. You fiery. Give me. Bottle war. And above all friendly at the end of the day no matter where you were from or who you cheered for. It was hard not to love this little motherfucker. My biggest inspiration is cease from the dog whisperer a lot of people laugh when I say it goes it is kind of a funny nickname that he has but then again, people are the one of my nicknames. So we got that in common. Out of yours big daddy everyone wanted nothing but the best for no tail to see him win the Big One. Unfortunately, it just didn't seem to be in the cards when I picked him up last year after the first thing he told me that I make my decision next year I will be. Very rough because it is there's so much built towards his no matter no matter how much I tried to look from that every year the biggest tournament in you spores is made out to be such a big thing falling short of what you you're aiming for in terms of placement. Has Been Very harsh lesson, but it's always been one that I've been very great for Ford. Dan shows hits always sucks. It felt as if he and fly were being systematically screwed over by the e sport they adored. As if no roster could ever be what they really wanted a team that wasn't just a business but a group of friends a family, it can bring out the worst in people and forces you to be a good teammate because team game you only succeed together and you lose together if you're not a good teammate, but you're a great player. Probably. Not Going to get where he far vice versa. So they said fuck it and founded their own organization Oh. Gee thing idea behind the O. J. is a mindset of friendship but also wants to win. Somebody. WHO's very empathic and you gotta you gotta learn which is a great thing learning empathy is. Very. Good for people at, but Doda kind of forces you to do it if you don't do it. You're most likely going to run into some trouble in team and his maybe GONNA lose your this game. That's GONNA lose your disqualified. You're not going to get where you want. Then you're going to sit there like why didn't work by prioritizing confidence and come robbery over results fly in no tail built a juggernaut from the ground up. One? That Iran solidified itself as the most consistently accomplished roster Doda has ever
Charity vs. Peters
"Welcome listeners. This is sound. Only I'm Justin charity and I Mike Peters where your sound only co hosts here to record our deepest darkest thoughts about the twenty first century. In the millennial lifestyle, we're talking about rap music video games, anime youtube social media, and the wider Internet. This week were talking about versus the popular. Instagram live turned apple music web video series, which pits to musicians against one another to musical acts. I should say against one another in a competitive DJ set with the to musical acts in virtual attendance. Mike, LESCO let's talk about it. Let's let's let's talk about versus let's talk about versus the first one. Was In March we should say that it is Timberlands. Baby a first. Right. Timberlands, wispy stimulus whispers, baby They basically would have rumored placards like this is the this is the title card for next week it might be ti versus somebody, and then an ends up being somebody else. Well, tears is to that's the Ti yes, racist. Stand up just like sh- ti and tip need to just go ahead and settle their differences and realize the police also out here you understand. Right. So the verses series is really Thing that came out of like mutual adoration. I. Would Say Lake it was because I mean, the thing is when you hear verses, you see like it style is with the Z. and inflames and Times New Roman and superimposed over stuff you think that it's like a battle but it's not really no well first of all I think club, Promo? Fliers. Cobra. PROVO Yeah. Ladies. Get Him free before eleven the yeah. But I mean it's actually Nothing like that. I mean it's religious people playing music that they like at a room together. Right. But in a weirdly competitive context yes we should give a rundown of some of them like the match up so far for versus. You know it's been almost a couple dozen of them including Nellie verses, ludicrous. Teddy Riley versus baby face DJ premier versus Rizza Erica by dovers Joe Scott t pain versus Lil Jon. Yes. Yes. So last week the most recent versus matchup Rick Ross against two chains, which is a match up that you and I had. Or have a lot of opinions about. Yeah, you'd like we we do have a lot of opinions about this I. I genuinely believe that there was a period of time around two, thousand sixteen, where like two chains was. You now top five top three wrappers in the world and he wasn't like three you know but I mean like been again a lot of people find that view heretical I. Mean why heretical I dunno that add on moment that's the thing he had though that he had a moment on top of a moment you know what I mean he had a sort of I guess in rap you would think of it as a sort of emeritus moment where was that? We recognize the two chains had been long enough in he and we also all realized that he's deceptively old and so everyone was just like yeah to changes elder statesman now. Yeah I mean yeah. Basically. Care One. We he somehow graduated to that stat. Like yeah. He also like he has graduated to having Justice League VIZSLA and his record, he has like old like Rafferty go to the league that the rule the world record was that Justice League I can't remember was that cool and dry. How am I it? Sounds more characteristic where we yeah. But anyway, it doesn't matter like I do. Like the the point is that I'd I'd love to change deeply however this was a lopsided match-up. However however. Because fat boy got songs. We Cross got songs come on a few days before this versus battle happen when it was announced immediately went to ringer slack and I said the people who organized this are masochists right. To changes great but to chains is not to change is a lanky. Okay. Pal. Riding. You like I understand at like as a person as a person who had the Rick Ross grunt as his text message tone for. Two years. I'm saying that you need to chill out what I'm saying no, but I'm I'm asking I'm asking, did you study the concept of inertia in high school because that's that's crosses physical advantage against two chains is. Right right but all that aside. You know and it's making me not WanNa take your point because you 'cause you be in like this about it but. To as best moments are on other people's songs like or they are like obscure mix tape because. I mean like I am immediately thinking of his versus fighting and the club by in this a song from I twenty like you don't even remember who that is like. The. The fact that there are few songs that Tuesday's really carries on his own and also like if I can. Keep it a stack fifty with you. The big radio hits are not really my favorite to that way to put it to, and especially because the big radio hits chains are kind of all over the place and so they're hard to build a coherent like theory of the case of two genes.

"Now the other thing I would imagine again. I don't know whoa grandma and GRANDPA doing or your mom was doing but we grew up pretty you know especially at the beginning mom left. My Dad broke fucking broken. Welfare building I coveted coveted money. It never plays sports. I never really. I don't know how to Pop Willie's I could ride without out. You Know I. I didn't really participate in all of those extra curricular like those those leisurely activities as a child. When I came home from school put my boots down went outside and it was about some money? Yup The example I had was my father when I went to my father every summer. And I I lived in Alaska luxury. We have cable with all the channels the first time I saw. CD player clear. DVD Player was my dad. How's an unlimited supplies like so you? Who's from Florida silly? You know say what used to sanity the Go-to this big warehouse. Where all of the like? Because he had a candy store so we go to this big warehouse where all of the convenience stores and everybody by their supplies and get like wholesale Wholesale cases of you? WHO's welches strawberries? Grapes in Coca Cola's what he liked. Pepsi's you know what I mean and versus. It is good thing he wasn't in Atlanta went into my mom house. We go have groceries from you. Know the first of the fifteenth you know because that's what foods Gustav Co and then we will make any work grilled cheese and noodles food government cheese though is delicious I never had. Oh my God i WanNa find out where to buy it came in the brick like Velveeta. It was American different level of poor. I'd never I'd say we steps ahead. We went to the store. We Got Vida. Okay yeah good good well it is really good other stuff is terrible but the cheese is really unique about it. In a lot of people that can relate they want that government wounded neither from the government in my company wealth. I shovel driveways. You always always just trying to make money as what it was always about and you did candy yep up from fourth grade to seven And then you fenced some merchandise. We'll call it. Yeah well you know I called it was a concierge by conceal is like a consignment of sorts. A redistribution of wealth. As well Tamie. We're all poor feel from porgy for those kids parents probably. Oh no not they will off. Let's just say the better off than me because they had the coach didn't seem took someone's code. I myself didn't that. Oh got it. Okay so why. Why is the story so basically I? I was known as the Guy In school I saw candy and so I I handle money. I have people in different halls selling candy for me by the time. I got to sixth grade so so candy of seventh grade or eighth grade hall ahead lockers in different halls and I had people I will give them twenty five dollars worth of candy If they sold out twenty five I give them five dollars so that kind of morphed itself into a reapplication of skills you know when you dress out for pe. Yes so a lot of kids when they have a pe of course they leave their sneakers and they're they're careless talk. It's on Kgo in the locker room is still coats and bring them back to me and I will give them. I think it was twenty dollars. Four Star to Jackie in like twenty five for some joins twenty five thirty dollars and I would take these items of goods that are back song absolutely my inventory and power go and sell them on the other side of town. When my grandmother Stayed Ed in these kids went to different schools there was no trail right right? Wow what a business. For forty right made remain a little profit for thirty s for fifty six so he quickly recognized margin so the candy like twenty five percent margin the fence goods woods had maybe a fifty percent more handy. I mean my candy margins got up to it depends I I saw candy. Bars made closer so to a one hundred percent because of course if it's two ninety nine and they give you twelve candy bars for two ninety nine you could sell those for for fifty Cents Easy Flip Yeah but candy. Bars are hard to keep informed throughout a school days especially yeah nobody wants the best so much candy bar food price so it was a so I learned and then the fencing market was like a thirty five percent thirty to forty percent. I only get as much as the quality. Take my inventory so this is a more worn pair of Jordan's Ya then. I'm not going to be able to get as much for and if this is a jacket with a stain or a whole along it and they're going to get as much for it But when I ran into crack yeah here we go. That's that's when I turned into to adroit deal. This is young. This is like four hundred eighty six grade twelve years old thirteen teenage so thirteen. And and now you realize Oh this is a hundred this three hundred percent markup I was at my first. My first play was about at three hundred percent. Turn fifty fifty two hundred and fifty or forty. You know what I mean. Give or take and now here's where we're on different sides of the supply chain of bottle out of crack okay. In my in my youth if fucked with my worldview I dunno fucked with your worldview. How so because I'm sure it did? I just WanNa see if it's the same way that fucked up Jewish. Yes so what you see immediately in a again. It's it's much worse on my side of that equation than yours. Which is oh? I'm looking around and well. This is me I mean I'm looking at who else is buying it. I can't pretend I'm something other than what all these other people are doing. So we're all desperate as faulk orrin primal mode. We've probably been out for two days. Do you know the worst layer of being an animal on planet Earth for me. I'm speaking for me and what I was around. I'm trying I'm thinking what humans are capable of what what what level of desperation and what they'll do to feed that right. He's being aware of like. Oh man we as a animal we can get pretty fucking dark wing it pretty darn get pretty low and so for me. It was like okay good to know a lot. The people on this planet are desperate in doing fucked up shit and it's there's a gnarly sector in it infected what I thought of the world like I met Kristin and I didn't think someone like Kristin really existed. These people live at your house. You let them live there for free. They're all fucking using you. You're like my view. So so twisted from grownup kind of broke and then get into drugs and she's slowly over twelve years infected me with the good guys and the good stuff that the world isn't just all the people that I was with Agate and so I'm just wondering being being twelve and then up to our however many years before you sound like a teenage job for me and by by the time I was twenty one I was at a record deal. Yeah so it was like a teenager dealing with adults being younger recognizing the frailty of adults that had to have permeated some party incredibly cynical right. That's what I'm saying incredibly cynical and it also jaded aided my assessment of danger rights. You know what I mean like like let's just say you ever been somewhere with someone and and you walk into a room and it's incredibly cold like you'll find me you know like this. Can you know we're.

And and it's up to us to be monitoring in what side of the line. Were sure I've been on the wrong side of it. A bunch of I'll have to us. We will being chivalrous like tell I wife hey listen you ain't got to worry about working okay. Don't do that. I do that for the both of us. Like some women see that show versus other women. See that is controlling Chauvinistic Jarno Oh it adult understand. Where is the line here? Well it depends what your lady wants exactly. Are you interested though. In examining why why you do these things like. Why is it you you and I have this code or this thought or what our roles should be is? Does it interest you. Like where get this in. And should I perpetuate it and now I got kids I have kids to. Is this something I wanna pass on. Does that interest you. I'm always interested in learning and growing evolving offing. I'm always interested in that. Yeah I will say that my ways got me this far. I mean. I'd be hard pressed to say that another way would have gotten me farther coming from where where I come from. Yeah I think a lot of it is environment and circumstance You know I think at least for me. Speaking the way that I am or wools rose was indicative to the environment I had to endure of of course and I think that head you place me in a different environment. My Ski eales talents and abilities have morphed or presented themselves in different actions. Yeah one hundred percent agree. Because I've had that same thought. aww I've often thought Oh gets you into the party. Might not be the thing that keeps you at the party. Yes or the thing that elevates the party right. Yeah I I dig. That like adjustments must be made yes. I'm a self diagnosed narcissists though by the way I understand yeah. That's my addiction. But I was raised by a bunch of undiagnosed narcissus life. For instance. You know just think about a stern parent and for me. My grandma was a complete narcissus. Live in my house bat by my rules my way at highway like auditors narcissism in my father was the same way. Let's say the quintessential example of Louisiana White Man's household. Would it means to be a stern father like the seventies show the POPs in seventy show Yup. Yup that's a narcissist because these totalitarian okay this is raise narcissist this is I'm a product of narcissism but the thing is I think for you and I will make us stronger and more able to adapt is that we recognize our unnecessary and we apply where we need to and we pull it back. Where we we can? Reading here was the breakthrough I had the other day. I was driving to work and I was like who am I kidding. I'm a fucking narcissist. I think about myself all day long every second of the day. If you have a problem I run it through how it's going to affect me then I can maybe find my way to benevolence once in generosity. But it's GonNa go through what price I gotTa Pay I. Would I heard you say use. I'm willing to help you into hurts me a self preservation type of a thing that's not necessarily narcissism to me Nancy Matt my narcissism. I feel is more so deeply rooted in the fact that I I have better ideas ideas guy so if you come to me with idea that makes me feel like it's better than my. I'm I'm not so stuck in my narcissism that I won't go with your better idea right wherever you have the success in convincing me of this I'm going to force my idea into the execution because I believe in my idea more than I believe in yours and that also makes me a narcissist had confirmation that your ideas are good. Thank you have evidence that so that's not really dangerous though it could be another successful person though. Yeah you still go goes on my dear. If I 'cause I'm I'm willing to fall off fly on my performance. Yeah yes okay. So my big hangup up is an icy this Monaco. All the time it's inconvenient for most people around me. I will not participate in a bad plan. I just won't do it. Everyone can be mad at me. But it's like if you see the fog but I see the destination and you're not willing to follow me. Yeah I'm not following you through the Falk Doc. Because I see where we're going so I should be the one leading and I can't lead then I'm out of it. I concur buddy. I have that though. Because is my mom got married a few times okay. A new dude showed up okay with a whole new game plan for the family. I've never experienced experienced it. It was me and my mom from the whole the whole ride is okay her okay so I was. I was the victim of a lot of bad plans. United I I said to myself soon as I was eighteen. I'm like I'm done with fighting bad. Never following another fucking. I've read fall in. At least I decided to do it. That's how I feel you. Yes I'm going to have to deal with the outcome like whatever the consequences are from this bad decision. I'm going to have to deal with the outcome and I I'm going to discipline myself self and be able to endure whatever. "Welcome welcome welcome to armchair expert. I'm DAX Shepard. I'm joined by Padma. Monica Pat's here so listen gang. Here's the story we have an interview with. Ti known ti or tip or as birth name was Clifford. Joseph Harris and since we recorded this interview he was on another podcasts and said some stuff about taking his daughter to the doctor there was a lot of blowback from that. I want to state for the record. I have a different different opinion than the one he stated in that interview. We don't agree on that but at the same time I find him incredibly fascinating. His story is very very interesting. It's also worth noting. I think before he listened that I've talked to him since this and he told me for whatever this is worth that he was was exaggerated and also trying to be funny on that podcast so I don't know how much of that he would stand by but really here to say we're not here to say in fact act if you would like kind of a trial of that statement where it gets examined in-depth you should check out red table. Talk with Jada Pinkett. She had ed tip and his wife tiny on and they discuss this at length but again this interview happened before that. So if you're interested in the world of love. Ti and his life story. How he got word how he got where he is? Today by. All measures are really wonderful. Interview there much match so yeah so we chose to release it and you know again. I don't agree with what. Ti said about that specific thing. But I also like tip quite a bit conjoined talking to him so yes anything else you WANNA say no. I think that's great just to be open and honest here. There was a conversation we had privately about. Maybe not releasing this interview during this Hoopla and I am very very happy that we are releasing it I think has story is incredibly unique and we have not had anyone on our show thus far that has a lifelike his so it's important for I think for people to be exposed to all different kinds of stories so I'm glad that we're doing it me too please enjoy Ti..

"In the Titan trapped under the South Atlanta's apostle rap world team wizard words. It is a pleasure to have with us today tip. Ti Harris was going own. Thank you ma'am up Liz oppressor for having me of course Do you have this impressive resume like so. You've got this new podcast expeditiously. If what made you decide to do your soul God damn busy man I mean for me. It's it's it's a more elevated platform to actually convey like perspective respective and messaging because of course we all use social media to present our initiatives and things that we care about but I feel like you know social. Social media is such a unhealthy back and forth of it. All it gets lost in translation. People are more concerned with arguing than they are with absorbing the point southfield you know for for for for my actual issues to be conveyed properly. I needed a elevated platform. this was appropriate yeah and you say that on show. It's a judgment free zone conversation. Absolutely we gotta have we gotta have a safe space where we could just get in and talk with somebody somebody feeling like they have said something wrong because usually if someone filters their their question or their their discussion. I don't ever really get to the root of what their true concern problem issue or conflict was so it go it just left lift unaddressed to fester growth happen. Absolutely we have to understand. We all aren't going to agree we all aren't you know going due to be from the same walk of life. I have the same beliefs all the time but there's more that brings us together as one than it is. The separations separates us so we kind of like focus on the things that bring us together and respect the things that separate us. We'll be fine you. How a lot of opinions that's no secret but like so your career with music? You've been able to communicate your thoughts in songs that three it to four or five minutes long show. I really enjoy an hour long conversation like your first episode. y'All had freeway Rick Ross has incredible story and Y'all have an hour where you're able to dive into topics and kind of break apart off each other which I thought was really really i. I think that's like that's important. You know because we all have a special set of skills that derives from a certain unique experiences insist that they allow us a different perspective than everyone else so we have to we have to sit back and listen to the experiences of Savory Ross. He is far more experienced in you know the life denied. Do you know saying so for me to not listen into his perspective the things that he's learned things that he's taken away from his experiences. There will be doing myself a disservice because still show up and steal yeah yeah so like on that episode y'All Talk About Street Code. You talk about Abusive Authority at the hands of police talk about Second Hands Niche and talking about farm felonies mandatory minimums in like all kinds of politics like y'all y'all got into who the crack epidemic during the Reagan era shoe and you were talking about how kids growing up today in those neighborhoods may not understand the one generation away from like the long lasting effects of that community and they they don't they don't even know it you know like is that have you always been in politically minor. Is that something you've found later in life is especially like being a father definitely enhanced when my sons were getting getting old enough in my daughter's actually enough to drive and actually have to go out into the world you know away from the safe space of a nest that I've created and now they actually have to deal with the ramifications of living within this world of ours that made me he wants to do more to to to make adjustments just known. I know that my efforts the results of my efforts will be. We live for her for them to for their lives to be affected and that's like the work you're doing with the hair community work. Oh by the way I'm from Houston use and appreciate everything that you did for us after the storm man. It's my pleasure yeah. My Dad's house got booking destroyed that storm day yeah so I mean isn't it. Isn't any crazy like every year. Just a different place on the map gets destroyed and it seems like more and more like every every year. You know what I mean. I mean it's been pretty consistent every year. You know what I mean you have a different place on the map south Caribbean somewhere and it's completely wiped raped out there and if we keep it up to you can't keep rebuilding if everything's struggling but I think all the other billionaires that they're just going to blast off to the moon one day and I was like they're trying to call an is a planet like we should take care of the toys we got. This is true as the planet that we currently have. I mean it would definitely behoove us to do so yeah you just logical I wouldn't I wouldn't mind an intergalactic commute back and forth one day it'll get their. Yobe and one of the first one party going on Jupiter. Exact ZAC missed the eight o'clock show got get down to LAX SPACEX six showman blasting off in about on our you know plus three yoga room on the space shuttle three light years away. We'll be back by two thousand instead of. I don't think yeah but I mean the thing about space travel. The CANTU intrigues league's me but also deters me you know last time we got on a ship going somewhere. I'm not in a hurry. I'm GONNA need to see some some some face terms and you know kind of service. They know you never want the first model you want to. You know you take the first trip. I I need to do it. So I got a theory that like once we do that. Once we're planning jumping that we'll be like a new form of racism that will be like those are moon people and because there's no gravity their weaker earthlings are fucking strong off. Fuck Moon Parson up on the Moon Netto move back to the Harris community works some of the stuff you guys are working on right now for people who want to get involved well right now we we have a several initiatives with one of them is the bye-bye the buyback the block initiatives will we want to create systems to put in place that allowed the natives of our now ginger fat communities to still be able to afford to live there. That's the one thing about gentrification. I feel like that is you know it's the dark side to the silver lining of upgrades and in progression but if this elderly couple has been living in this house since the sixties and they paid it off in the SIP in eighty nine again pushed out and now they living on fixed income. I'm not working anymore so we live off social security. Whatever retirement plans for themselves which most of us in our communities we don't really have that now that others have deemed billionaires have deemed it appropriate to come in this community and in Bill starbucks Walmarts in whole foods ah the taxes on this House that were applied to the fixed income that this elderly couple can afford okay okay the taxes on sixty thousand dollar house they pale in comparison to the taxes on the half a million dollars so although we think that it's great great the you know the values been raised. You still have people that are displaced magazine if you do they happen to sell that house but where do you go. Yes Everything is Liz as the word thing. Old People hate doing is changing moving. You Know Lights Light said I'm young. I hate changed nowhere to get worse. I think that you know I remember when me me and my orchestra We tried to buy my grandma and my Granddad a new house and they looked at we had three heads. We've been fifty years. You will be going forward and get up in age like that. You know what I'm saying just thought of its brighter on the other side of the hill. Just it escapes aches you at that point much damn work fifty as a life. Listen that s another thing and all those memories and so on and so forth so. I think that it's real important important. We created with the put in place. I have a affordable housing initiative. I'm I'm currently developing which is sorely needed in Los Angeles of all places yeah absolutely it is bad in Atlanta as it is here in. La I mean that's pretty bad everywhere. It's a large city problem for sure sure I think it's pretty it's pretty it resembles it like the same thing Harlem and Brooklyn and same thing with la in Atlanta and like everybody everybody gets it. It's kind of like the G okay. We realize that an integration when you guys moved in we cut could offer knows in spite of our face decided to move out and live. You live the most valuable land on the map. Okay we want to fix that now. The people came in and made valuable land like here in. La Building the ten freeway right between the most affluent black community had in the city and driving down property values and now all of a sudden people wanna move there and the cost of going back up and up but I also must say country to the argument that we're having having I would also say that there is something to be said for our inability to remain prison and and develop strategies and make adjustments within the community because usually when you come from where we come from an answer is more times than not get me enough money to move out of hand. I never looking back right. They said that seems like the goal absolutely yeah okay but once you've done that an enough of us have done that and then that community we've abandoned the community and if someone else in a better position with Roy Moore out can recognize value. Oh you in what you've left is cancer heart to come back and complain after the fact but it's a lot to ask people. Is You know news now. This is you all that work for themselves and then go back and lift everybody up to not everybody's this talented. I think everybody can do what they can do. The key is to just don't get stuck doing nothing. I mean you might not be able to do as much or you might not be able to do it. As Faz says but as long as you're doing what you can do the absolutely whatever that is. I think that's that's important. I like in getting in back to expeditiously how y'all sorry you're breaking down the difference between snitching yeah yeah so so trying to tie it into food. You'd think podcast okay. We got one point Jake. Who Do you think the views a social snitching. I mean gene do personally. I feel like you snitch to the police. As only you can't really do know for was being told. I don't think that's snitching from the police and your mother will yeah. That's the first form of police she going to hotel. Everybody wants to be your budget as the first that's the first police person we had to deal with an iron fist digging saying well. Thank you so much. Thank you yeah. We're huge fans. We be talking to you all day but we've spent time man one more. Okay cool man shoot like you're on the road obviously all right. What is there a food that he liked you while you're on the road like as a snack you take home on the road with you or just like a comfort food that you like what it depends on where I am would I'm doing but it's hard to like find food.

Let me tell you the opposite bad well you know I think it's all about what's in your net with someone who knows nowadays Egli guys getting can you not they're very confident too confident. I mean well especially if you got like you know big energy sure ooh yeah so this is where it can it exudes you can't you could trace all kinds of beach activity from guys down around to Dick says you know what I'm saying gasping. That's what that's when it's been missing live Dick Energy like if that wasn't energy drink. I don't think I could but I think you could endorse big Dick Energy drink. I will remain out. I'm a man would addict this this. You know well okay. I have speaking for my honest honest porn question that ran through my head yesterday it was Brian. You can weigh in on this as well in the rest of the peanut gallery where she is in a porn. A Guy's Dick Dick size is not neither here nor there to me. I like a large Dick a porn k. do other guys feel that way and then the follow up question is is when you watch porn. Are you watching porn or you in the porn half the guys. I know that's me like doc in porn like I'm using me in the porn versus me who's just watching the porn but I saw was a was what's the Dixie doesn't matter but then I was like I remember seeing porn with like average to smaller wieners and it's like Oh that's bumpy off pudding yeah. It's like Stevens between Major League Baseball and watching girls play I never really I don't think of a really you never know but maybe now it's time now. I'm thinking about the girls you're thinking about the girl the girl all right so and you watch porn I don't say are you in the porn you just I'm just listening Tapio Visa Cadillac Pov from your perspective or are you picturing yourself in the porn or you just watching porn. Usually what I'm watching it. I have home she going on so you know what I'm saying with a girl like in competition with the porn. You know what I'm saying. All your heating with the porn is is where you see my thing when I watch porn. I'm like everybody out of the House. Clear out. You know what I mean. I don't invite people in to watch porn. What no no no that only a chosen few? I see a select group. Yes elite group. It's a steady group point. You can't help yourself do I'm not saying the Pov just born. I had one IDA conversation. My roommate wants where he was aghast that I I I would fast forward all the way through the porn to see if there's anything I liked in it. He would always just put the poor in and watch the first scene. I thought he was insane for doing knowing that he thought I was insane for fast forwarding to see anything in their yummy. I gotta get to the point yeah. I don't mean to the point you're young. I don't know they even do that with porn anymore. Anyway your podcast. What took you so long to get into podcasting? I mean to be honest with you. The idea was presented to me by by podcast one. They said you should do a podcast a and they probably knew talking a lot of super famous people. I don't know Oh man I think they just found me generally in interesting were you doing someone else's like a guest on someone else's podcast and then went. Hey No no I believe it's kind of like you know I'm very outspoken and opinionated about in about TOPIX that are directly relevant to the culture and the generation and I feel like they may have saw you know some of my activity on social media and you know saying just figured a larger platform was in order eleven studio albums the Grammy Awards three packets of Splendor Grammy Nominations Eleven Billboard Billboard Awards Jesus Christ so you grew up in Atlanta right dwis and what was the thoughts like when you you were young like there was their hopes and dreams what was the was the plan the plan was always this is always what I you know I aspired to do you know I've been doing amusing since third grade and this was all I knew this was the ultimate destination just figured I'd have to set a little crack can maintain. How did that work? Did it work. Well you know I'm black and I'm from their urban. Areas of society SOS pretty much like right outside. With how old were you when you first well as started off selling candy in school I started off as I was always an entrepreneur but I was I used to say a candy in school and I think around six grade you know all the way to school and you know it was introduced to it and and Assad the margins. Were you know a lot better than the profit margins that I was receiving in my candy industry so I had to make an executive decision to kind of switch direction for my career path where you reach out to or somebody to approach to apply for the podcast I was approved at this particular time I was on my way to the bus stop or saw a guy who didn't my boss because he didn't go to school he was he was up coming out to and I was wondering what has you out you know the time of day and that's when he kinda you know Canon introduced me to the life I wonder I I feel like there's some there's some freakonomics stuff on drugs and drug dealers and the guys on the street and Blah Blah Blah probably heard before but I guess one of the ones you're being right now. Take the little guys but you know I grew up. There was no entrepreneurial spirit now. They wouldn't have wanted me to sell drugs but it still it's a form of entrepreneurial pitchy Unian on the bills you know and I'm saying for the folks that make it out now. Look most people get shot. Get killed or go to prison through but if you make AAC it through and there's many examples I think you have some savvy business savvy. If it doesn't kill your or working thrown in jail for the rest of your life absolutely I believe for a lot of people within our generation that was our first opportunity to kind of undestand business profit loss manufacturing distribution. You know what I'm saying. I mean it's Jay Z. Sold drugs right. We don't know we'll never jay Z and what human flesh see well Jesse's like the ultimate businessman right. Maybe he was a fourteen year old elaine businessman Delmon up right absolutely. I think that there's a acumen acumen that comes with you know the environment that we I mean we have. We have to really navigate a path through our lives in our communities just to stay alive. You know what I'm saying so and then if you're able to assume a certain level of success for yourself and and and make it to you know more formidable audible means that's even more acute on top of that now I've made find singer here collaborating with Lady Gaga gone and Kanye West ask and beyond saying drake what does Dj Calico do these other people do. I still don't know what. Dj Cal does man honestly Dj. He's a producer as well as well. I M M C A massive ceremonies. You Kazan like the true meaning of the acronym in MC is massive ceremony someone who comes out to the shows and Canada and next Stein next you know what I'm saying like he's like a millenium version of an emcee is lady I the thing that's nice about lady. Gaga turns out. She's super talented when she was like selling herself as some sort of side show at the beginning now you go oh yeah she's got got. Shops always been that way beyond say God we interviewed beyond say on Love Line when she was like how the hold was my were you there when she must have been fourteen or fifteen yeah. They Sung same name in like acapella right in front drew. I don't even know if we can crooked. She's like eight thousand nine hundred and find that what is she now. She thinks thirty thirty yea she said her birthday and this must have been twenty years ago thousand two thousand eighteen yeah we ran into him at the in a teen choice award or something had to go well. Here's how long ago was beyond say ran up to me and wanted me to do something for her. That's how long ago it was a list. All we need to know that's that's the last time she say my name about. Five hundred seventy five running to me that was a long time ago yeah they all wanted to be all wanted to be on the show so who do you have coming up this head ice cube and ll cool J. on the pod who else DC young flyer is young a young up and coming comedian actor and social media influencers and he's he's going to sit down with we happen to be from the same the actually actually the same neighborhood in Atlanta. I think we're going to kind of pick his brain on how his generation versus Magin rations upbringing. How's your house Atlanta doing? I've been Atlanta few times. I usually just go to road Lanta but I stayed in Atlanta then a few shows Atlanta but I haven't been there really release since all the studios Tyler Perry Marvel Marvel and everything has any of that like if you go down the street from where we're sitting right now now you'll see the Disney campus spreading out and buying a bunch of old buildings right you know put up state of the art Bob Blah is that helping is that is it's at near where you were technically you gotta get land pretty cheap and so you got to move out a little bit from from the city but I don't know there are graphically okay so Atlanta's having one of the most longevity booms that a CD as is seen in quite some time he was the number one draft pick I on lockdown corn different so like people have got to work on the new order on gemstone people have been moving to Atlanta at alarming rates like you know for over a decade now and I think that there was a steady showed a two hundred seventy some people day morality without him now now of course that means that you know those people who had more people need to find somewhere to stay in everybody don't want to travel to the outskirts so they have to kind of expand downtown around in the way to do that. He has gone to the place closest to downtown which is usually the ghetto and especially in this case so when you have things like the Mercedes Benz Dome to come A- and gets built two billion dollars right up the street from hair when trump you know what I mean and heroin trap is a place here when we write this uh-huh so young ladies and gentlemen..

"You know what i'm saying about all these things. They must not properly motivated. I'm okay good or a good orgasm incentivize people to do all kinds of things they probably shouldn't do now. Isn't that the truth real trick about that last question russian. She says i met my boyfriend through mutual friends at this is anonymous. I met my boyfriend through mutual friends a couple months ago prior to meeting in he had recently gone through a divorce. We're about five years apart and i just graduated college. So this relationship slash circumstance is new to me before we made it official. He slipped up and called me. His ex's name me being understanding to a situation. I let it go well six to seven months later. He did it again accident. Both of our mouths dropped and i didn't. I didn't know what to say. He said it wasn't because he was thinking about her and that it honestly slipped out <hes> i took a long walk and let it go once i got back of course he felt awful but this this is this something i should worry about any of you relate. Well hope okay so if you have someone. They just got out of a long standing. I guess you could say a very serious relationship then because this is actually happened to me before oh yeah i lost a girl from you. Were you. Were the one that was saying that everyone you know i pink and did you do it on purpose or was it because this is the thing so the new girlfriend that i had she had never like argued like we always had a very chill space and a coup bat however my my previous relationship this show was with my son's mother my older son's mom and all we did was argued so the first time me and my new girlfriend argue argue. I see my baby mamas name and she didn't like it. Then the next time we argued it happened again justin yeah and she left me four that she left me. That's insane. That's not suit our current husband. My first husband's name sometimes like we're like my accident like like six. No no no okay no. That's that's the deal breaker anything else. I think's okay you're you're out of malice. Your brain is the sinuses. Are you know they're clicking along. The frontier. Coretec cortex is not right. Predict predictable is trash genius i._q. Opera between the frontal cortex the amid dealer. I think you know and whether it happens. You got the wires cross before we i go. I know that one one less thing to ask you this this year. I know they are always working on these passion projects. That's really demanding with some late evening hours and not only that light but we have a house payment car payment school loans and love to travel. We've talked about having kids this year but i'm not sure what to do if we have a baby i know i'll be happy if we don't have one also be fine. I have a lot of time. How do i not feel the societal pressure of having kids and personally decide what is best for me. I think that if you have to put that much thought into new york you really wanna kid. You know what i'm saying you. <hes> i mean life happens you dig what i'm saying and usually we roll with the punches and and you know based on we want more out of life so if you want a child you wanna start a family and that's what you want to procreate and that's one of the things that you want out of life then. That's what you're gonna do and if not then hey. Maybe it's not for you. How many kids do you have seven seven <hes>. How do you come up but that many names one of the time usually sometimes you have seven kids and he's still have the johnsons sex. Doesn't he started when he had her first kid. Oh we'll see now. My first kid is not necessarily cecily by why how old were in her first. Kid isn't necessarily by me. Okay my three kids not necessarily bummer wife see. I ahead three kids in two years. Yeah i got to eighteen year. Olds project twins project twin. Yeah you know you know usually man you raised in the projects and you get you know what i'm saying one child that was born this year and then right around the corner in a different building. You got another was born this year. You know three months apart three months. <hes> um so that's what they call project twins. I'm going to do that but you should have those well. She's so young and really there. There's two choices as a woman. You can either have the child that you can be shamed for being a cold dead hearted bitch the rest of your life by not having a child so choose from yeah. That's not personal at all the every single day when you're gonna have a kid. When are you going to have a kid. I've got tweed pants. I'm kind of a baby. I'm doing business my blouse house. You don't want to spit on that mall. <hes> you know who knows trash damn well. Why do you have to say this. Girl doesn't have to wait to even try to freeze her eggs for another like eight years. Guy go run into some good dick and it yeah. You know what i'm saying about all these things. They must not properly motivated. I'm okay good or a good.

I mean i think the learning to say no probably the most lucrative thing you can do in life starting to say now thinking of saying no sa- fifty descent threw a party in new york city and he made windy williams wait outside the party and there's like paparazzi video of it and he said you can't just show up to my party already. If you've been talking about me bache wait outside. Oh my god i love. What was she saying about him. She always talks about fifty cents. Everyone i would be honored. Does she talk about you. Of course you're on sundays. I mean i try not to pay much attention okay but the laws of reciprocity are in order there. You go <hes> okay lamar odom. She said he's officially given up watching porn. It's been three months. I don't believe in what way he wrote him up. He wrote a new towel and he's saying that he was addicted to porn and now it's been three died in the bunny ranch them saying but also lamar you can have porn wallets probably the addict where he's watching it like ten hours. A day spun sablan responsibly. I'm sure there's something you can have on your computer. Shut off after you've hours three hours. I don't know he's i like my john. Jack job searches at least three hours of curb your enthusiasm every day so three hundred four yeah. That's a lot report. I'm talking about edry today. I think that would also be like biohazard tux highly highly illegal okay so we're going to play or an acquired taste of who you know. There's a hallmark learned got sean on top into it on expeditiously you should and we have some great names of other celebrities that have asked us or our friends to pee the on them or into the people shall be peed on. It is a thing honestly delicacy someplace in the ocean the other day and i couldn't i get shy contaminate. The drinking water already the micro-plastics in the ocean who'd be worse than the dopes straight now. They'd be lucky drink. My pee <music> are based on because you have a brand new podcast coming to podcast one and we are some o._g. Podcast this is like four years of podcasting now. We need to make sure that you're up-to-date on your pop culture so we're going to be playing a game called called blurred lines or headlines so i want you to tell me what you think about. It's not really a game but just what you think about this pop culture pop culture topics because they're all real okay here. We go jay z. Reportedly is going to be in charge of the super bowl. <hes> we think <hes> i think that it diversity and inclusion <hes> i really. I don't really see a lot of fault there. <hes> and lots of people can jump to conclusions and up in arms about it but i think they're point was mostly on behalf of capture nick and <hes> just seeing be it as it may <hes> he he took settlement from the n._f._l. So to me is like all matters for cabinet have been resolved. Listen to me if he was still going back and forth with the n._f._l. You know <hes> but nobody who sues the company or corporation. You can expect to come get a job. You know what i'm saying. Although i tell him this all the time when i speak to him i say man for real. I think you've more powerful and stronger as a voice without the n._f._l. Being unencumbered because you have to deal with terms and conditions if you sign their contract and you know playing league so to be able to speak on matters you wanna speak on and you know do things things the way that you wanna do it without encumbrance <hes> to remain independent and and you know. I think that's just my opinion. I think he did great. Hey that's a great topic for the pod. Absolutely it's fabulous. I think there's something a little easier for okay okay that was that was a hard one. I start listen. It's topical people when you know okay. Kim kardashian finally admitted that she owes her create a paris hilton because she was her assistant doesn't she owe it to ray. J eighty we even got shady is from well not to him but it was a fifty fifty deal while she worked she worked harder was involved. The fifties involved in a somebody who's him some money. "You're in your thirties like ten years ago. Talk above the twenty four. It's out of his own perceived. I wanna i subscribe to the policy. Exceptions are made for exceptional circumstances sign unexceptional if he he didn't he. Didn't you know what okay okay well. I would like to tell a story about when i realized i was in love with you. It's when you were combing your hair but you weren't coming anything. In the blurred lines video you remember that you were like conquered conquered and you were just combing the you had no hair and i was like can cool made it when you can comb your invisible hair. I mean it was like james dean but anyway. Did you have any idea that that girl emily would like. She became the most famous of everyone and that was usually. She ended up in an transformers. She was gone girl on girl and then just massive model money. We we know what man absolutely absolutely no hand in deciding which girls would be there. That's unfortunate so i can't really take any in credit no director. That video was a woman. The women were a woman who did your other videos did. Did you get to pick the women have women only if i get there i see is not you know that there's some it's like a a her like a second casting calls while video. I just think that authenticity is big and what we do. You know what i mean so <hes> a lot of terms creatives or i guess you could say storytellers. They may put something that looks best. I for the scene but if you actually observe the scene that wouldn't it wouldn't be that way you know not that the girls aren't pretty enough or this that and other but it's just like sometimes it's pretty sometimes it's you know. It doesn't look real so to maintain the authenticity. Sometimes we have to make executive decisions. Who makes it's the executive decisions in your relationship. You guys have been married nine years together eighteen years do you do you consider yourself. The relationship boss yeah. I think i actually i believe in person with the best ideas should lead the way you know what i'm saying. I mean it's case by case. How do you balance that. How do you decide. There's a little good instinct. Oh god yeah but i don't think that you can actually kinda. Come up with a predetermined person. You know what i mean. <hes> i mean there have been times. I wanted to do things one way and then you know she made a suggestion that actually worked at to be the best suggestion and vice versa admitting faults or letting her take the reins don't understand what do you mean. You never been talking to say. Sport is john no question. Is that the key to the longevity of relationship. I think the key to longevity is leaving. Oh wow deep. I i mean no. It's true like i hated my husband most of last year in our great. I mean hey babe. I didn't hate you hate you. I wasn't in a fan. You always talk shit about me on the podcast. I was like i also great great so like yeah you gotta roll with it. Bad your goodyear. There's we're okay okay. We wanna know based on what you've learned about us in the last five minutes who you think would last the longest with out getting murdered in jail for who would make in jail yeah who would make it in jail what level of security level no then we okay okay. What do you think <hes> i'll. I'll i'll. I'll say her because she's been the quietest. Oh oh ooh usually the ones that don't speak as much. I have <hes> have a longer in no longer run by the bunch of dumb shit on this podcast so okay. I think becca would make the best weapons..

H could change ladies. Don't get a spray tan. If you have psoriasis okay. They did a great job okay but like doc. I'm a it's my skin literally. The condition that i have is that my skin in certain places exfoliating. It's too quickly so it's spots that are basically two days later our white stark white and then the rest of me is a dark dark mahogany leaves. No i mean at this point. I scrubbed myself to death so i go to a wedding and i'm like got him such an idiot like what is wrong with me. I'm thirty three. It's time to like know your snow. "What happened when they arrested TI? So the arrested him without incident and take him into custody and take him to their offices in order to interrogate him. He doesn't really say anything. He's not making statements. He asks for a lawyer TI's inexperienced criminal defendant. This wasn't the first three even the second time that he'd been arrested. So he didn't say anything to the agents when they arrested him. And that's when they called me, and I got involved, so we're typing up the paperwork of the US attorney's office where alerting the. Judge the magistrate judge federal magistrate judges on duty that weekend that they're going to need to sign some paperwork and the agents tell me that they also need a search warrant for TI's residence for further evidence to see his the bodyguard has told them that TI possesses many many more guns in his residence here in Atlanta. So do they get the search warrant? Yes. I tied up the search warrant I typed up the complaint, I put all the probable cause allegations. And we got a federal magistrate judges sign it and the ATF agents executed a search warrant at his home. And they found it was either seven or nine more guns in his house in a safe in his bedroom. Closet. This because I'm always curious about why people and especially felons have to accumulate weapons. Did he have any weapons at all? Like the ones he was trying to buy. Now, he had no other machine guns are silencer seeing at all other handguns. So he was upgrading right? He was upgrading. So that he was strapped in ready if there's some kind of wild gun battle at the BT awards or so he could start one right? I mean, that's certainly a possibility. Well, that's right. And to us to me he was particularly dangerous. He was a convicted felon. He was loaded with guns everywhere in his house in his car. Now, he's fine machine guns. That has everybody knows can kill many many people very very quickly and they're silenced. That's with scared. That's right. Well, that's someone who's thinking about. Okay, I might need to kill many people very quickly and get away with it. So no one knows where I'm shooting from. I mean, it seemed to me to be very talcum, dating and frightening. I mean, I thought he was very dangerous person. Well, it sounds like from his behavior. Definitely. So he's under arrest. He's not really making any statements. We searched his house. There are other guns found there in his closet in a safe that only he had the combination to made it even been a fingerprint. I think I can't quite remember. So we have a lot of evidence. There are other things inside the safe that are very personal to TI that include city owes and photographs of him that proved us that the safe was his and everything inside it was his so we have in debt derives. There's no question about his guilt. And so we have to wait 'til Monday morning for his first appearance before a magistrate judge. And that is really when things got crazy. So this was Saturday, but the started when did they actually searched the home? They searched the home the same day that that evening Saturday evening. They executed that search warrant and Serbs his house and. You were working very hard for very long time on Saturday. Oh, yes. It was very late. I remember very distinctly because the federal building had these rules where on the weekends. You didn't have overhead lights unless you requested them from the General Services Administration from GSA you had to request them by Friday at five in order to have lights on the weekend. Nobody it's weird. Because normally there'd be somebody preparing for trials that weekend in so there'd be light. But for some mysterious reason not was preparing for trial over that weekend. So we didn't have lights. I was very fortunate to have a desk lamp and a standing lamp in my office that I bought myself because if Errol government done by those things that I bought myself in brought in the office 'cause are very distinctly. Remember, looking at my computer screen, which was very dim the US attorney standing over my shoulder, and he's trying to see as I'm typing, and really it's mostly the light of the computer that is is keeping us able to see anything the wonderful perks of working for the US government..
