"A Guy who has been out is very wise to come in to a co main or less. Than, have to be out there twenty five minutes. Right condition is the number. One thing is going to be lacking in your game when you take those kind of breaks. Houses fight GONNA go. If you get stuck on your feet with Robert Whitaker historically speaking unless your name Israel out of Sonya Yuli face down and embarrassed so you really are left with a question. Do you believe that. Canon near. Who's a good striker but not world class? Do you believe cannon ear can get whittaker off his feet? Because Yoel Romero, could it. You'll Romero had ten rounds, which equals fifty minutes. Got Whitaker down a combined three times, but did not keep them therefore, it can bind one minute. So if you're going to bet on candidate by the way, feel free to I'm giving you my British. If you're going to bet on cannon near to win, you then have to support that with a thesis of how how does he win And if you're just saying he's going to go out strike Robert Whitaker just because based on no historical that. Okay. Great. I will tip my hat to you, and if you've got the balls to walk that to a pay window somewhere in Vegas and put some action down I'll respect you even more. But. My guess is if you make that statements because you don't know what you're talking about even if you turn out to be right. So. If you do not believe that Canon near can take whitaker down something that Yoel Romero couldn't do in fifty minutes you're talking about a standup fight. About a standup fight against a guy who stood with your riot hall would they guy who stood with Darrin till? With the guy who stood unsuccessfully with Israel out of Sonya. Ask you a different question. If you can see back to me that this fight is going to be contested on their feet and the ground part is not going to be part of if you can see that back to let me ask you this in a different way. If Robert Whitaker is GONNA, go kick box jerry cannon near who wins the fight. Robert Whitaker. So a fan went after conor on social media. Connor favourite platform twitter..

"And Cormie said, and I quote Oughta Sonya would be big problems for anybody at heavyweight except and Ghana and quote now, the reason that's interesting. When you have a guy like Daniel Cormack? Who's been there done that but he's been there done that also in two different way classes, he understands the important size also understands a size discrepancy. I need to back up to the night that Oughta son you're beat whittaker. There was talk as soon as that night now the fight between. And Paula Kosta was made that night 'cause Audubon. Is Too damn smart to leave rang without lining up what's next but there was still talk that night. About assigning versus Jones and Daniel Cormack who called the fight said look. I see what? The world seeing this Oughta Sonya is special I, believe he would have size problems with Jones. That's also a quote unquote. So to hear the same guy, Dana Korean now talk about of Sonya, now glossing over two or five all sudden there's no science problems and all of a sense that he could give everybody problems at heavyweight. Except for God just found to be very interesting because on the back of that. Came Out And Oughta Sonya said I think what they want to do next for me is that light heavyweight now? He did not offer a thought on top of that but I'm looking at that come. We'll wait a second nobody wants you to just move to light heavyweight unless they're moving you win against Yawn Mehovic. Going to bump you up to light heavyweight to go and have some fun with one of the boys. GonNa Throw Oughta sign you raised by example Audubon against glover. By example, they're gonNA take sitting champion and move them to light heavyweight. It's going to be for the strap. But OUGHTA sign. You didn't say that. OUGHTA sign you just said I think they might be looking at me light-heavyweight. Now I don't know what we're make to make believe with that because when you do look at us on you at one eighty five, there's a lot of great matches to still do. I mean, a rematch with Marvin is out there somewhere. Wiedeman is speaking up oughta Sonya himself has complimented Darren till and called out cannon near. and. Nobody can dismiss whitaker. You don't have to agree on what that is. My point to make to you is he's not cleaned out the division. He is clearly the best of the division. He is not cleaned outta that he's not in a bad spot. So the talks with moving him to two or five. Find very interesting but if we moved them to five, we're now talking about him versus Yawn, you have to do that one first and then him versus. Do you see the music stops. DNC We're moving him to two. Oh, five doesn't necessarily satisfy any problem, but could create a few. In less he's going to be Amanda Nunez Keeble Belt and defend them both and by the way with what he weighs, he's going to give way to a five. That might be what he does. I'm just not seeing a need for that not to mention oughta Sonya versus yawn is not some kind of big piece of business right now. OUGHTA Sonya versus. The vacuum in my closet is just as. Audubon just works. Versus is a is an afterthought of this. I don't think he's cleaned out one eighty five. I think I'm very light on the idea of him moving up to five I think it was an offended comment when he said it, I think if it was a realistic comment was being discussed he would have had a name which would only beyond Blah. Hobich. Tell me where I'm wrong. So I've I've been hearing this rumor. What do you do at your mouth I? Mean that's what you do at your my and how quickly can we get this done? I mean the entire my of Gimmick I'm not talking about the fighter I'm not talking about the straight up. In I'm talking about the Gimmick. The Gimmick this guy fights often he fights in two different weight classes and he has to fights book that all time I don't want this to go away I think it's great. And I think of all the guys that talked we've only see one of the guy backup before and that's Donald Surani. And Donald wasn't even put in the position to have to fights at the same time over two different weight classes he'd had done it. But. He wasn't given the opportunity so. In this position, he backed what he said. I only offer that you because I want to give it away. I like the whole thing I want him booked in two fights at all times in different weight classes at all times. It's cool. It's unique. It's never been done before and it's also what separated him. There has been nobody with a meteoric rise light Shemaya in two thousand and twenty nobody. Nobody even if you go back to sugars Sean who had a meteoric rise, but he dates back to two thousand and nineteen up talking about specifically two, thousand and twenty, it's. But we gotta get in fights lined up. So. Neil Magny God. Bless him steps up and says man I'll do this fight and not only magni say he would do the fight Magni went even further to talk about how stupid the rankings are which to me perse I loved it because they are stupid. They are. You're either the champion or you're not. And to be the number, one contender doesn't mean you're the number one guy. You could be ranked one through five and be identified as the number one contender. In fact, that's not even a rule that's just one that happens all the time. A little bit silly. They're just talking they're jumping off space. That's it. They're met for an article. I appreciated that Magni was aware enough to know that and magny is a top ranked guy. He's been in the top ten for I. don't even know how long I don't know what he's saying. I know he's a top rank. That's all we know because to neal's point the rankings don't matter but I'll tell you something does matter is a bad ass who steps up to the plate? What does matter is a bad assets about to find himself in a main event. I will tell you a bad ass name Neil. Magny who just tied the record with George Saint Pierre for the most wins in the history of the welterweight division. Neil Magny Matters Neil Magny has struggled to find himself interesting. Make these come out at press conferences and said I don't care about any of that I just want to fight. I got no problem with that. That's his life in his career. It's frustrating to me because when I see Neil Magny, I see something special I see something different and I see guy who should care But either way we're in this position and even if it's an accident Neil Magny, all of a sudden interesting. So I didn't have a way to get a hold of Neil Magny..

"Zero and infinity. . They're both kind of just like the. . Ultimate mind boggling what happens if I pit their cruel nece against each other, , which was more important more expensive. . The mind blow up factor best and kind of only people that I would really talk about it would be none other than mathematician. . Hi Do I have both of you you have me. . Hi. . Okay so on the phone right now, , I was able to call up James Grind and Eugenie Chin. . There are both super awesome math people who do a lot of thinking about the importance of these numbers I give lots of talks around the world and people might see me on Youtube Channel could number file. . Now Eugenia is the scientist in residence. . At the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, , which is pretty cool and I've written several books and the second one was cooled beyond infinity. . I have that book actually. . Oh, , I'm so glad to hear this is the crazy super debate about coolness of zero versus infinity. . James. . Can explain to me what zero even is as a mathematical concept. . Okay so on one hand zero is a number. . As, , like the other numbers one, , two, , three, , four, , five, , two, , nine. . Zero Times one is zero. . Zero. . Times two is zero but also that means that it just come. . You come sit out Zeros. . I'm have one goes to well no, , we can't. . So we do have to treat zero slightly differently from the other numbers. . It's a number that represents nothing. . Both of them of an abstract ideas in ways, , but that's what matters about. . Mathis about going to the abstract to solve problems. . Because like even if we just have the drawing of the number one that doesn't mean, , it's one that's our interpretation are symbol to represent the concept you could point out one sheep, , one, cow, , , one coin but one of those things have in common is this idea of oneness that they have in common, which , is not something you can point at, , but is something they all share? ? When you try and teach small child how to count You keep showing them objects in going one, two, , , three, , one, , two three but they have to make a leap inside their head from the objects in front of them to this concept of as James says one nurse. . And you can't do it for them. . You can't point that's it. . You can't see you can't touch it. . You can't feel it. . You can't eat it and so you just have to do it in your head. . It's weird because it's it's there. . But at the same time, , it's not there. . That's how I think of maths. . It's kind of it's definitely there in my head, , but it's also not fair because it's just in my head the shame applies to zero you can't really point at. . Zero is the harder idea. . It's harder than one, , two, , three, , one sheep and one cow have something in common but zero sheep zero cows almost have more in common somehow at least to me, , it's much easier to get zero sheep and zero cows. . I've got them right in front of me. . Now what about infinity? ? You can't go up to your kid like look this is one cow this is no cows. . This is everything. . Infinite. . Yeah. . Unfortunately, , we don't even have infinite cows on the entire planet so we couldn't even try to assemble infinite cows and it's so it's really something that happens inside your brain but something that you can show to any child and they've probably understood it themselves is that if you eat half of your chocolate cake, , then you have Hof left and then if you eat half of what's left, , then still some left and if you eat half of what's left there, , still some left. . If you keep eating Hof of your remaining chocolate cake, , you can take an infinite number of bites of chocolate cake and there will still be some left. . I have the best producers in the world and they actually brought me a cake God this. . Oh, , awesome on the traffic cut infinitely and see if it goes to zero. . Okay. . Here we go. . So I'm cutting the cake. . Eaten at times? Dom. ? . Yep. . We'll just keep eating whenever you. . Half again, , make the third. . Sky The sixteenth. . Through I could keep calling it forever and ever and ever ever. . Ever ever. . Anyway. . Back to the question at hand. . Is a lot less flashier than infinity is something. . That, , you would use in everyday life actually came from merchants and traders and accountant rather then they sort of intellectuals studying Matt's but then again, , infinity turns out to be practical as well, , and it also turns out to be everywhere through the field of calculus, , which is a piece of mathematics that really governs everything that changes continuously I'm that means practically. . Everything in the modern world including things like well `electricity and that's how infinity can be thought of as very practical as well as having mind-bending and weird properties way you can play around and create strange pistes and strange universes in which peculiar and amazing things happen. . Yeah. . Infinity is the one that's the strangest I mean <hes> strange paradoxes the I can't understand. . One. . Example of those paradoxes that cake conundrum which explained in the cake break and another one is Hilbert's hotel. . That was proposed by the mathematician Hilbert's where he said let's imagine we have a hotel with an infinite number of rooms. . Now Hubert's hotels confusing for bear with me. . matchy of a really big hotel. . Now, , this hotel infinite roofs. . and. . Let's say that one man walks in one night and says, , Hey, , on the book room, , you know you can't send him. . To the infant floor that doesn't really seem fair. . You know because you still have to walk all that way. . So. . You sent him to room one and send the person on route one term deal. . Then send the person on route to to room three and keep going. . So instead of this one guy after travel. . So incredibly infinitely far everyone just travels wants. . which works out such a small number, , but it eventually converges into infinity. . And that's quite odd because in a normal finite hotel. . If it's full, , you can't just fit in other guests dune without asking them to share room which they probably wouldn't want to do. . Yes my head hurts. . We're all getting clever. . Now, , James, , what do you think of what you genius saying and why do you think Zeros Cooler Think, , we're going to find that these two ideas are going to be very connected because they are related ideas. . One being nothing won't being everything, , but without zero, , you wouldn't have any of modern mathematics today the reason zero. . So important is because without it you wouldn't have a place value system. . So in the old times when you wanted to count thirteen sheep or something like that, , you would have to make a mark for each sheep. . So you have make thirteen marks you can count them what the Egyptians and the Babylonians did is they started using news to represent lodging numbers. . So now if you want to count thirteen, , you can just use. . A one and a three. . So now you need zero in here because what is the difference between thirty two and three hundred to? ? Well, , you need that space in the middle in the old times that would be actually a space. . It was any later that zero recognized as a number. . But with place value system, , you can do the whole of mathematics today. . Oh Man. . If it wasn't for the concept of the numbers zero, , we would still have to use the talents just be no the one where it's like one, , two, , three, , four, , and then five is the horizontal line. . That won't be pretty bad. . It's like that boat will cost thirteen, , thousand dollars one, , two, , three, , four, , I agree with James Zero is really important and possibly even more important than infinity because more maths depends on zero. . Really. . But just because something's important I personally don't necessarily think it's cool. . There are plenty of things in life that are really important without being cool to me at all like, , for example, , sleep which I find pretty boring but I recognize that it's very, , very important.

"Staying on. The theme of reopening restaurants coffee shops are trying to figure out how to stay in business when so many of us are eating at home for some takeout was already at least part of their business model but for others. It's totally new. Kate Ashwell runs vintage clothing store and cafe in Bristol England. Her husband will bakes cakes. They serve we quite a quirky business. We sell vintage clothing and we also host afternoon teas and afternoon tea parties. And we've changed from doing everything in house to doing everything outside. So basically sending often teased to people's doors and we've had all sorts from people who of course are having special birthdays to people who are were meant getting married so we are actually turning over more than we did before lockdown. I think we will continue to do the deliveries as long as possible. Basically until the government says yet. It's fine you don't have to say she distance anymore. This is the problem the whole hospitality industries going to have to start your now after lockdown is actually the most unstable point for four. Our industry isn't it? There's a lot of wait and see. Isn't there at the moment thing. That's the realization that everyone sort of starting to accept that this is going to be much much longer term thing. It seems to be very unknown if we are in a situation where we are sort of neither open nor shot and we can only let a small amount of people into the space at a time. We can't make a living of having six to eight people having afternoon tea on a Saturday. We'll have see how it goes and just keep aware of what's going on and do the right thing. That was kate and will Ashwell at heartfelt vintage in Bristol England. Courtesy of our friends at the BBC. You can tell us about your personal economy at marketplace.

"It's not just small businesses grappling with how to reopen a lot of graduating high school. Seniors are wondering what college going to look like come fall and whether like so much else these days their first classes will happen online that uncertainty in the state of the economy. Some recent grads rethinking their college plans. Marketplace's Samantha fields reports like a lot of eighteen year olds on a par Jordan. Can't wait to move out of her parents. House go to college move into a dorm. Make new friends have my space and be independent. But now she's not planning to do any of that not this fall anyway. I'M NOT GONNA pay all that money to maybe end up doing courses online and you know not being the class setting. She had been planning to go to the University of Pittsburgh which like most colleges is saying. It hopes to reopen the fall. But she's just not willing to take the risk of possibly starting college from her bedroom at her parents house like absolutely everything is if I can prevent adding I'm going to so. She's taking a gap year and hoping to get a job or an internship. Maybe even travel when things start to open up one in six students who had planned to go to college. Full time in the fall have decided not to. According to a recent study from Education Consultants Art and Science Group. Others are thinking differently about where they wanna go mostly for financial reasons. It's less about am. I going to call. But it's comparing colleges and saying what's the return. Jeff Fuller is director of college counseling at straight Jesuit College Preparatory Boys High School in Houston and he's seeing a lot of students decide to stay closer to home this year or go to state schools instead of private ones for families looking at it from the lens of should I pay forty thousand dollars or more for this education when there's a school that's offering me a just as good education but fraction of the cost. That is exactly what say just a girl was trying to figure out whether it was worth it to go to his first choice school. Loyola MARYMOUNT IN L. A. Or whether he should go to the University of California Riverside for about fifteen thousand dollars less a year. Kind of freaking out of this whole thing because of the money. His grandmother WHO's raising him is a hairdresser and she hasn't been able to work since March. This is making a little bit harder for us to figure out how we'RE GONNA pay for tuition and things like that going to UC Riverside would be a lot cheaper but my girlfriend i. We're having this talk about. I lost like the most important months of senior year and she did not want him to lose out going to his first choice college to she wants it for me just as bad as I do so after agonizing until the last possible minute he finally decided to just go for it go to Loyola. Marymount find a way to make it work. He's asking the school for more money. Since his grandmother's income has changed and he figures it would almost be like a little bit of a blessing in disguise if they were to just lower the cost and it's online through all semester. Two-thirds of students say they expect to pay less. Classes are entirely online. According to that aren't science group steady but even that wouldn't be enough to make on a par Jordan. WanNa Start College remotely. I would really rather not have my freshman year end up like my senior year did. It's just been hard. She says to miss out on so many things she'd been looking forward to like. Prom and graduation and starting college but that at least she will get to do eventually. I know I will go to college. I will go at some point. And She's confident that some point will be next year. I'm Samantha fields for marketplace.

"Makes money for more than just haircuts and coloring Samantha. Banks is the owner. Have a glass door and a big picture window and you can see my beautiful display of products and bank says. She thought she could possibly do curbside pickups for those products even though she can't give haircuts put banks never tried to find out. She thinks it's too early and she doesn't want it to look like she's cutting hair and not the rules. Elizabeth Melido at the National Federation of Independent. Business says business owners have been flooding her phone with questions about the rules. As different states and sometimes different counties within those states operate in different stages kind of all over the place so the reopening orders inevitably result in relief excitement confusion and then for some business owners disappointment Kylie North says she experienced all those feelings recently she and her wife. Water Berbar a cocktail. Lounge IN BOISE IDAHO STAGE. Two of reopening includes in restaurant dining. She thought we have food grilled cheese baked oysters potato skins. Maybe we count. We quickly reminded not down. The business is licensed as a bar and in Idaho. Forty percent of sales must come from food to be considered a restaurant. Water bear clocks in at twenty five percent. I know it's hard to watch. Other businesses on her street reopened their doors. She says she gets it. Bars are not restaurants. She says she wants to be a place where people can. Mingle so much of going to a bar is being more fluid like we could meet the right one like they could be just sitting right next to me or eventually maybe more like six feet away. I'm Kristen Traub for marketplace even before this crisis roughly half a million Americans were homeless a number likely to get worse as millions of people who've lost their jobs and income struggle to pay for Housing and initiative in California called Project Room key aims to convert fifteen thousand vacant hotel rooms into temporary housing for the homeless Cara. Carnahan is the director of programs for abode services. The nonprofit agency has moved nearly four hundred people into two hotels in the bay area. I spoke with Keira back in early April when they were just getting started. So we thought we'd check back in today. Cara good to talk to you again. Good to talk to you amy. So when we last spoke project room key was just getting off the ground. You're in the middle of moving folks. In things are a little hectic. Have you settled in now? We have settled in. Were almost fully staffed We've been able to touch everybody in the program. Assess them figure out what their needs are and we're starting to work on plans for them Yeah and we've even had a few people transition out to other places because they've gotten housing already so that's been exciting as well. Just set the scene for me. What what kind of space you in. What does it look like? How is it different from a typical homeless shelter? So we are right. Now I am at the Radisson Hotel in Oakland near the Oakland airport. The mob a lot of our action happens. It's where people get meals. It's where they meet with their case. Managers it's where we have shelter monitors that can provide them with clothing hygiene supplies dog food. We have. We have about fifty pets here. Yeah we do cats and dogs. And then we have different groups that come through as well to provide Throughout the week to provide different resources to our residents and then we go into the grand ballroom. And that's where I spend a lot of my time because that's really where we're sort of figuring out what folks need helping them to develop goals for themselves and then really working to connect them to the various resources that they need to achieve those goals in this program. Statewide it's been reported. That only about half the fifteen thousand rooms Have been filled. What do you think are the big challenges of actually getting people housed in these vacant hotels? We are not having a challenge at all So we targeted our shelters with an Alameda. County that Were the most crowded and less able to social distance residents within their their sleeping facilities. And so we took a hundred and seventy five households out of those shelters. Some came out of encampments as well so we really are at full capacity and have about fifteen people that are waiting for those couple of empty rooms that we have well. I don't want to ask you to speak for for other communities. But do you think that you've got What advantages do you have in Oakland or Alameda County? That may be some other cities. Don't in trying to get people housed yeah. It's really surprising that you would think that offering somebody a hotel room that they would jump at the chance and you know get right over here the first day that you offer it to them. Sometimes we have to offer it times. I think what a new resource comes out to us. The homeless community has had sort of bad experiences with the system per se. That know until word gets out that this is a safe place for them to be that. Sometimes it's it's not a resource that's heavily utilized And I think that enough people have come through here or they know other people that are living here that I think it's gotten a reputation that people want to be here. People don't want to people don't want to leave. How is this crisis? Been for you? Personally I imagine you're working pretty long hours. I am working really long hours I'm a single mom so You know I have a great provider. That's that takes care of my son. Thank goodness I wouldn't be able to do this without her. And my son has noticed that I work really long hours. So we've had to have some conversations about why I'm doing this and why it's so important for me to do this. Sort of to invite him in as like you know. We're doing this together to really support people. That really need us right now. That might otherwise not do well on the streets if we weren't here to do this carrot. Carnahan Director of programs for a abode services. Thank you so much. Thank you on Wall Street. Markets were closed for the holiday. We'll have an update on the global markets when we do the numbers.

"Statistics. Thirty thirty eight Devon Booker. Twenty four seven four but he at thirty eight and whatnot and they lost so appreciate. I had a close to a double double. He ended up with a double double twenty twenty. It's just as important case came out would be more song for the science back-off both going to have a double double and then Kelly oubre came out and did things so extra heroes. He was actually he was he got fouled he did push ups on a dunk. That he's like me more rally. He doing most salad. Big problem is they can't get everybody clicking at once. Usually just one guy My collie eight Point Zero Rebounds. Twenty two minutes of play every he might have. I think he's got maybe like a couple of twenty point games and he's like oh he might begin to going but the eighth game. He might literally have single. You're absolutely right though. Might this team. That just can't click at. Once we see nights for Jordan Clarkson and says having a night and then not even mention that shit we see nice with Joe Ingles and then Bouillon not productively nights where Bouillon Bogdonovich. Who is you know assigned to be an extremely good role player for them. Some Nice thank seen him. Take game winning shots for them and deliver. Which is very confusing. Because you know you notice. They want in their braiding. Donovan Mitchell to be their guy but sometimes they don't deliver that might turn on. And then you know Mike Conley Mike Conley in in this month. Seventeen on forty six percent shooting forty two percents three so his statistical numbers look good but like off this month this month and it's only like seven games played this month the other months eight points. Eleven points and those. He has tons of games where he's missing anything that takes away from my county. Is Ball's in Donovan? Mitchell timely game down the stretch and that's where my kind of show himself. The most last year is when they needed him shots. They gave him the ball. He was so good last year he thought he was twenty one to realize higher they had US talking about. They could be one of those winks in right now. They just haven't they haven't been there at all. They haven't been that at all. Next team is Oh Casey is okay. See The scariest lower seed in the league right now. Yeah definitely tell me why because they have the three guards they got. Gallo they got Steven Adams. Stay play hard defensively and I feel like they really have a legit closer Chris Paul so if you have a close game with them you got to keep him honest so they they. They beat the PELICANS. They beat the nuggets. And they beat the Spurs all through teams plus or have a playoff spot with nuggets and convincingly beaten them too they are have I mean as good as they have been you know jeff the them you know respecting their their credit because they having good. I don't think they're the scariest I think when you have the Utah Jazz or whether they have in the you know we've seen them at their best. They are legit they because they do have Donovan Mitchell. They do have a defensive player of the year. They do have micon who hasn't been shipped to season. But you never know sometimes guys have the and then it gets to the playoffs and they get in show you experience is is still important. They have By damage and even besides them I look at it Dallas Mavericks. They've cooled down a little bit but they still have a seven three guy. They still have Luca. Danni Those guys don't have the play-off experience which is holding them back. But I something about them that I would lean on more than a thunder. You know 'cause donder. You're really leaning on Chris Paul to really pull you through Finish shooter is is there in Shay have his moments same Nari but something about them. I about how I would say that thunder team is probably the most curious team. I think they're right there next to that. Utah Jazz scene. But I'm having that three guards is definitely going to pay off. They played the UTAH. Jazz in the playoff series. Utah handle is doing so. Yeah I will be tough. Especially if they come out they have the nice weather coming out. Struggling shooting the ball you have. The thunder could add saints which is widely was sixty two DORT. He's a two way player. He put him and he's going to have to get a contract. Because you only play certain amount of games on a two way and so far. He's basically been there started for like a month so and last night or a couple nights ago he just had a big game. A two way player standards in ended up with fifteen tune with WHO and that was against the Spurs and the game before that against the nuggets. He ended up with eleven. Like those are pretty good novel guy. That was a DVD player. A month ago so set out to him for his comments at a rotation like they're missing like hollow may not be good anyway and then he just took the spot from Terence. I start early in the season and his his defense is really good. That's the reason he started. He plays defense next team. We have is the mavericks now. A few nights ago they played against the Atlanta Hawks and they ended up losing their game. Because ask Mark Cuban the refs so y'all don't know what happened is a two point game. Right is a two point game. They're losing about two TRAE. Young has the Baugh like ten seconds. Left they don't need to because there's time on a sock class play defense. You get the rebel. We got time to score and and they'll go out. It's not your win. It's Roy gets to the basket puts up layup. It's blocked rest. Call Goten but since they did call saying they can go back and review it. It's not like the bear shit like they did and make a call so they couldn't review it so they reviewed it and it was obviously not go in but when it was called Goten Giancarlo got the rebound and went back up after the whistle. So they said no golden but Count John collinses put back this terrible and the Mavericks and Blues in Mark. Cuban comes out on twitter. He you know he's he's talking. Slamming the rafts. He gets fined not yet officially but he will get fine. It's all just having a meeting about this for real but this is like I just wanted to tell a story for people that didn't know. Is there anything about the talk about? Knock kind of mean to but I brought them over the thunder and Dessus. I don't know what you mean by them. Having Luke imposing do make them dangerous especially depending on who they match up with right now it will be nuggets and I think that's a great series this series man. That's very interesting Mikey Gilchrist has played a few games for this team. And they got him for like his his wing his defense But golly Ese hard to watch offers side of the literally nothing. That's why I was surprised that a team like this was so good. Offensively was signed him but he he's a big black. Yeah you're not going to guard him at all so he's like when you can look it. Now they have a defendant could happen when they ask he Say as it's always there for say thirty minutes team he scored two points sneeze and he he's fouled seven times so this is the crazy thing though. He was the second second overall pick over Bradley beal. Bradley beal's right behind his ass and then right after Bradley Beal to Journal this is two thousand twelve two thousand twelve Bradley. Ad Gilchrist Bradley. Beal name. It ain't nothing surprising. What team was it the Cavaliers Tristan Thompson? No Fuck yes okay. I knew it was one of those dues. Maybe not the best draft notes. Also head on Damian Lillard had Austin rivers ahead far green. I believe it was in there. I'm thinking like yeah. Maybe draymond green thinking about somebody late. Jimmy Bother was. Chris Middleton medicine just US thinking about. Okay no no. This is not the two thousand eleven Jimmy Butler Klay Thompson and other guys Actually not a terrible class is a lot of role players in his lot. West could be like this year which the listen the significance of a role player. You know how they say like the Center. Position is like expanding. And it's getting crazy and it's evolving the role player is evolving. Bro Role. Players are some of the most significant players in the League in today's game. I've never seen role players. Have this much value. Which is why nobody wants to give him up for nothing. They're asking for first round pigs. These these guys are getting Nice contracts because these guys are so important which why? It's mind blowing to me when they consider certain draft classes week because there isn't any stars there when the game is fi Mo- majority of Lee is role players. There's only a few stars. There's only a few like every doesn't have one I'll I'll watch my Nixon. We don't have a star so majority of the Lee is role player. So when you have a draft. That's full of them. I think you should take that draft a little bit more serious than the ones that quote unquote half stars because the ones that quote unquote stars are all going to be started because we see data all the. We don't have that many so they're telling you they're going to be stars but then you have to take the risk that some of these guys aren't going to be stars not going to have always get that and then yeah they tell us four or five of them and then really. It's one and he was drafted seventeenth overall in. Wasn't the first map. It you know what I mean like Lonzo in that draft class Marquel Lonzo. Josh Jackson. Those are the first three picks at a four four pigs Jason. Tatum was a big role. Players make up league the all know who the last week in his draft as one of your boys might Laker Laker Legend Center. When y'all were terrible and can be rapidly Rava soccer zag fighters another name in here? That the honorable Quincy Miller. Yes yes mailer whether nugget. What was the biggest thing I remember? Quincy Mellow and Andre Andre Iguodala. Fuck dude he crossed. Quincy another quincy. Miller was the top three player coming out of high school. Top three recruit in the nation ended up with all thirty eighth overall. Paul those guys at bay. They don't want to be disrespectful but they were saying the was in this next. Katy Perry Jones out. I don't watch the WHO mix tapes it no more. He was a doll. I thought he was GONNA BE THE NEXT. Katie he was. He was taking fadeaway soon for our period period. Jones definitely overseas. I think I've seen them about officer. Perry Jones Quincy Miller Quincy. Ac Low. Pierre Jackson they had Bello. I remember peer. Jacks there eighty five south Jackson. He still staying ahead. Isaiah Austin who drafted by the entire MBA. Because he had the. I think your mix tape jess drop again. He's still he's still hoping he'd get clear the hoop now because he is hard always. Yeah was he had a vision thing to goggles. But yeah that Perry Jones five star recruit five star Recruit Bro. Ninety seven score on. Espn that is crazy. And then now. He's playing overseas and he's going to four points a game overseas. That's tough crowd Seltzer. Instead of four points a game points per game and look look ball is life gotta mix tape says Perry Jones at third the biggest deal of the two thousand twelve NBA draft super athletic and versatile..

"Mean I just look over and like season so I was like he always Jesus Mike last mile like I love it. Yeah three and seven last team with all the depot our team that you don't WanNa play in the first round. You know what I mean. I don't think the Celtics are GonNa WanNa play the Pacers. Because at a potential that they do have in. At any moment. It can click But Jeremy Jerry lamb is going to be. You know a tough loss. I think this team is kind of probably going to be frustrated. 'cause they never going to have their team at full strength but I think they still have some versatility. Tj WARN MOUSE TURN US a bonus Mount Malcolm Brogdon t t j McConnell Victor Oladipo say things to work with their holiday brothers. So you know they need to get together. They definitely got to figure it out man. I didn't play last game but still lost offensively they. They're just not as consistent and making shots and then when you're not as good defensively at the same time it's going to hurt you brogden cooled off a little bit From where he started off at the beginning season yeah. He was like four longtime. He's fifty forty nine and I think he's not even shooting like thirty five percent from three anymore he was in discussions of being an all-star boy came and took it away. Who's been leading then? I mean for thirty percent from three season. That's got US awful for guy that shot forty three percent last year so bonuses. Just he's doing his thing. Fourteen eleven twenty four and thirteen fifteen and nine. Oh then losing with another guy for them could hurt them or it could provide another opportunity for other people or other players. Get more shots up and getting on. Yeah I'm only God these last couple of games with Three have been terrible. I don't even think they had like a Pacer reached double digits until near the end of the third quarter. Some crazy like that. That's disgusting so us over three against the nets won for five against the bucks over five against the Knicks and four against the raptors. I mean they're good. Looks is the guy to suffer. Forty Percent Saint Right now it's really not falling so the next two teams in the eastern office race are the nets and the magic. I cannot for the life of me think a story lasts for them to team. So is there anything about them? Yeah I WANNA talk about. They just face them each other. Last night it was a good game. Came down to the wire puts came down through wire. Nah but I can't. I mean these are things that are going to get. Bears handed to them when we get to the playoffs. I don't even want to even talk about him too much. I mean Jonathan. Isaac could become relatively soon. That's something good for the magic supposed to solve it is. When was that two weeks ago and team president? Jeff Wilson says a sad sad too because even if one of these teams fall out. You're GONNA have the wizards of the booth going. That's not happening. We're five games out. I don't see the magic follow like that either way it goes is going to be tougher. Whoever's back up for that semi completely agree is is it even workday. 'cause you know you again swept or you rather had a lottery pick talk to me because a lottery pick opposite. Move up to their first overall pick. What do you want to just stick out of the playoffs playoffs? Gal Take the flare thrown them for the magic for sure because they can't. They made the playoffs. We're going to get the fifteen pig if we don't get the thirteenth closer to take the NBA stars that thirteenth thick and especially ads. But they would be drafting with okay so before we move on to the Western Conference. I want to talk about any of the non playoff teams in the eastern conference. We briefly talked about the wizards already. But is there any other the cavs the cavs or what are they to in one sense? Dombi line stuff and then a big win against the heat. It's fun to see Kevin Porter's evolution throughout the season. Start off struggling. I think this Montes averaging like fifteen point game and he had thirty last night. But is there any other seen white? I just wish I don't know the cavaliers a I wish there was there on. They were a team that I thought I wanted the best draft classes that I said on here and Kev importers help in that case but I feel like dental. Whether could it could help the hawks shots you Knicks Knicks Pistons to sell. It gives toy shape but for the rest of the funding because the Hornets came out. Hooping is hoping we was like damn it was on my ass because I was like. There's no reason to do that. Devante villa so there was this one guy like devante. Graham hit a game winning. This is months ago when they were rocking and I was like man devante. Graham came out of nowhere because he literally came out of the Second Round Pick. Last year he was playing like ten minutes a game and then one do we have. You watched the The Hornets last is you would have known that he was going to be like this. I'm Brian cut it the button to cut it out to be had Kimba. Utopia does exactly why you couldn't seen it. It's just like Bro and then there was another tape library. I literally watch our eighty two and he's never looked like this war like because I remember at the beginning of the season on it Beat writer pages and all the everything that they were talking about me mark would he have. They were hoping he would devante year. So that come on at Monte grams also came back to Earth though fit into their store. Not Too what cat. He's been twenty nine percent from three this Monte. That's this bad. Compared to the first month of the season saw fifty percent of debris I mean still having a very good season. Don't get me wrong. This light say putting up type numbers he was in the first verse board. Continue to be difficult to watch out to watch. That's saving US joy to game. Yeah yeah the game. I mean from a basketball fan. Perspective is good from a Buddhist perspective. Now you know what? I'm saying that we had a sixteen point. Cobra gun as long as I was like damn I gotta get him off. The that's what I was thinking. When he was there he wants them killed a nickname. He just killing you and then on our show. He said his favorite moment of the seasons. When he killed the Knicks is like now is probably going to be when he no. He actually lost the game. So it's probably not going to be that but yeah man. He say he's making us watchable. Zach Levine obviously are going to watch but right now we got eight man team because we have another eight players in what they do. 'cause it's definitely some stuff going on as we see the clippers. Zach Levine San. Yes that was like that is like a same thing. When I was watching the Damn Game Shit I was going. I was going to sit because that was my first time watching the game. Nba Game So. I was going to let her watch the whole thing but they call it. Sounds like you now. We can just go next. I looked at on auto. Port is backing warming up so he should be back relatively lower years too. I just don't deal with injuries. Injuries injuries. Which is what I was saying. We were here. It s the one thing that is that does get interested and I didn't give a fuck about the bed so in part because I can ever win. It'd be like we get two games. We did lose six to get two games in a row. Because I don't know but fans always the eight a man but debt could be interesting. Because that's the knicks play. We can play as tough as Eve's pay. Hornets played in the seventy SIXES ALLEY. Played with the Bulls game. They play again at the end of March that can determine a lot of ships between all of that man teams. We gotTA play. We just played the rockets yesterday paces before that they were gonNA play the Hornets amount and we go knicks bulls. I mean Knicks. We go seventy sixers bulls rockets jazz under pisses wizard hawks. Then we go heat. Hornets Celtics Clippers Raptors. Pelican tough out Jali and much easier though we have. Okay see Knicks mavs Timber Wolves Pacers net. Actually it is easier. I will take them. Hopefully at least boys have someone that can least keep them those. Yes yes yes. That's Kobe. Kobe white vans outbound of bounds. She pushed on the ground by harden. Yeah he got away with that one but translates to the western conference after this break problems. It's human nature to hate problems. But why is that after all problems inspire us to mend things? Ben Things make things better. That's why.

"Dog something here in Bay here in being of say who pays for Thais. Oh I thought he was going to get like tonight. Talk Guys Boston Celtics. Can the bosses Celtics become a contender? So we saw them play the Lakers Har- battles as Taylor put up a career night tattoo numbers and then it came down to basically the last possession but they've continuously shown in the regular season. At least they can beat some of the best teams in the League. So can they hold themselves and seven game series against a team like the raptors the bucks so eventually get suits happy ship your on talk about it or not. I WanNa talk about it. I think it's GonNa be tough but I do think they're one of the teams that can do it. Like I said they have three guys that can go get twenty night. Plus they're surrounded by pieces that can also get. There's when they get hot. The thing that surprises me. Is that like when you look at. The end of their rotation is not anybody that jumps off the page like Grant Williams Romeo length. I get in big minutes at this point. You like you want to see to be a little bit deeper. But their top is so nice when it comes playoff tonight because Romeo link for probably not getting playoff minutes. You know a couple of minutes guard. Lebron in this game now ultimately don't matter too much but when they face a good team in the playoffs. I don't think we're GONNA see a lot of Romeo Lankford and also what I like about the same as it. Seems like even Jason Taylor Jalen Brown? They're young it seems like they're ready for the big moments whenever they're playing against like the choas. Lebron's the Janas as they come out and they show out and they're ready for it so I think when it comes to playoff time even when we saw them without Korean series they already not think they're ready for the big moments and I think they really WanNa come out and prove that they can do this in February Jason. Tatum is averaged. Thirty points per game. Seven rebounds three assists on forty eight percent feel forty seven percent from three like that's crazy They got a lot of different looks. I think this type of team for Brad Stevens to coach and really you know. Get the most out of him. I like that they do. Have the guys like Michael just arguing against the raptors for guys who can lead lead team in scoring each different night but I like that? Down the stretch. They have a lot of those guys too so you can have tatum in Kemba. You know what I mean. Jalen Brown have his moments. I love a marcus. Smart Bring Team That fight energy to be able to have Gordon Hayward as option is is very very good They've done a good job without a legitimate center. You know what I mean for us to have to disrespect their centers and say that they all they need all tie up yes You know cancer is going do we. Can't to dozen playoffs. He's GonNa have some big enormous rebounding games. Hopefully Robert Williams can. Can you know have some moments as well All of these e seems guys that they can just plug in for some of these teams like Dante even Shinzo. It just has moments in the bug with the bucks. Terrence Davis and Chris Boucher has has these moments with you know the rafters that he got the young guys. Kendrick Tyler hero and the Celtics got like you know dice ties and then Brad wanamaker be having moments. Dan Brad wanamaker becoming in getting his so I think they could be in a mixed man their team. You know they're good away. They wanted a few teams. That are five hundred in the Eastern Conference Sixteen twelve. They're good at home at twenty three and five Their versatile So they can get you with Brown to tatum three Hayward four type dean their ability to switch on defense is Great. 'cause especially with like two to three Two to four I mean when they had their order wings. Outta my favorite thing about the game against the Lakers. Like Anthony Davis had to Jason Tatum assignment and eventually they had two Swiss that shit up a- I hope that they hit a peak man. I think I want to even if they don't make anything. I wanted to see good basketball. And I think the way that these teams are were shaping up to potentially have that in eastern conference when you think about the bucks wrapped the Celtics. And then we're GONNA get into the next seas obviously but if we can get some good as long as the cars come on right. I hope nothing crazy happens. Nobody beat the hell out of one of the teens. Yeah well we can be in store for you. Know a some good playoff basketball one through eight. I don't receive any drastic sweeps well. Maybe tune seven. Yes yes and then those especially being there those could end up sweeps but the rest of the series appetite. I'll probably GONNA be down six seven. Which is what we're looking for us. Fans we said about the magic of Asher. They start after the sure. Did they sure did an Miami coming down to Earth? They are foreign six in their last ten including losses to the cavs. The Hawks the Blazers and the kings all on the road. Talk about it or keeping moving out there. But you're GONNA have to talk about okay besides like that. Because that's what I was hoping for but this is okay so I'll briefly. Say They like. The heat are absolutely terrible on the road at the end of the day. If you don't have if you not the one. Cu being terrible in a row gonNA come back and bite you in the ASS and the playoffs. So I know in the last game they were missing Jimmy Butler. You know. Because he's one of those. Oh really was a personal reasons. And I don't see anything probably be home to basically person who's based home with they just they're losing games because bad teams on the road like they are teams. That are not good on the row but at least they're beating the bad teams on the road. You know what I'm saying. This team has also losing to the bad teams. This is the point to where every team now isn't going to be bad on the road The Pacers are five hundred fourteen or fourteen. But every time we talk about now is not GonNa be good on the road I think that will be crucial especially for a team. Like the heat. Who Lose at four spots at a team like PHILLY BILLY BUT It may be good for them. It may go for them you know. Sometimes it's good to get smacked in a face when you can bounce back from it because the playoffs too late you get smacked in the face. You gotta go home so you know. Maybe it'd be good for them to get get a humbling experience to look at themselves in a mirror. Figure out anything that they need to iron out and we know what type of basketball they can play which is all that matters when it comes to play off time on the road they still have Jimmy and I think he has ability like flip that switch and get them in shape and the trees. And if they're not GONNA go out shooting he'll make sure. I don't know I think you're giving. Jimmy bothers real good but he'd been this season usually does about community. Yeah he kinda puts a millionaire and you can't make them go but as far as on a roll see from him has been amazing. She's like his leadership. That's him denied. Insane he ain't give me the ball the ball quarter and we got we all know that he can. I don't know that he can. He did it in the playoffs last year. Four or five. Yeah he had a good ass team they give they get you there in. That's all he had to do with. This team is young and he wanted to do more than just show up. He wanted to come through the whole course of the game. It's GONNA BE Times. He might have to defend one of the other teams best players. You know what I mean. It's GonNa be a lot then just because Phil you had you still had Joe will be in to buy those guys so it's GonNa be more than just now here in the last five minutes of game do what you gotta do. He GonNa have to do it all the way through sets. Ben Simmons back That now he's back not talking about So he tweaked something. They said that they did some tests. And it came back negative. But they're still not he's out indefinite. Yes he's out definitely because they believe something bigger a bigger issue than something can help held him out day to day so some scary stuff. For for Ben Simmons in seventy sixers and then also a task that his first game now has a career night against the Atlanta Hawks. Sourcing they just take interns weight being the face franchise in beat also struggled against the bucks. He did you know it is the bucks. The Dad was the hawks that he put the forty nine forty so game. But you've got to be consistent at centerpoint against playoff team. No I mean. There's definitely tough because Ben Simmons obviously the fact that it isn't a day to day thing and they said Ben Simmons was emotional about it. Which Kinda tells you something? He knows? Something's going on but yeah this is a moment for joy and be too not not solidified. Himself as the face of the franchise. Because you know hopefully they can get it done together. It seems like they they they WANNA play together. At least that's what they're telling us so definitely would have been if you have to but we definitely WanNa see both of them succeed and as good for Joel Embiid to start getting some confidence rolling into the playoffs and they right there. They can get home court advantage so they have something to play for. I can look at the next game. The Cavaliers Knicks and then Clippers Lakers kings warriors. So they can get in. So yeah. There's definitely room for. Some greatness of them Lakers kings though. That might be tough. Yeah that California trip for the eastern like Far East teams are always super. Hannah toxins you. Might you might game. Kawhi apologize both. Don't play on next thing. We have the Pacers. Three and seven since Ola depot has been back and I've seen some pace offensive. Mad about nate McMillan. It's a lot going on in the organization. They just lost by fifty zero lamb toe his up like everything about his news. The free throw thousands of so anything that is brought to you about the Pacers WanNa about house laughing at you laughing because he was laughing at me mentally author lack. Nah I mean I just look over and like season so I was like he always Jesus Mike last mile like I love it..

"He's just not going to do it that way. That's not who he is not how he's wired he wants to be to Tony's point a man of the people and he's going to do things that represent it so he's going to have a workout. That looks like that so that didn't surprise. I'll tell you what bothered me. You know nothing else bothered me. What bothered me was he gets up after the workout and he talks about transparency and then he won't take any what are you doing? I think that PSOMAS you've got to take that was someone is GonNa ask you if you get signed. You're going to kneel. You GotTa have an answer for that now you can make it answered. It doesn't say anything right. You can't establish Abbas yourself David as a man of the people and not talk to agree to agree one hundred percent with you on that and to your point Tori somebody and his camp says. Hey Hey we're going to have to say something when this is over or when this begins think about what you want to say but what stopping a now from putting video of himself every single well day nothing. Yeah well he does from time to time but yeah but he does not but I its him lifting. It's completely fair. It seems to me completely fair if you have an interest in signing him that you sit down with him and you ask him all of the questions that wouldn't you you know so. I don't know why he withheld. I don't know why he stonewalled. Yeah that was west then and everything else he did he did and you could almost explain it. That one and I guess is my guess is seventy five to eighty percent of the reporters that were there would have been extremely sympathetic to also reporters tremendously sympathizer. It's not like you're have it's not like it would have been in a hostile audience. You know what I mean so you had to guess today does he play for an NFL team in the next year. No my guess is no Michael. No night Play for a team. No Oh you mean does he. Does he get signed I don't think he would take some either way. There does come a point. It's different with everybody. But you see these guys who were out two years and three years and they get called in and everybody puts her hand up and they go. Oh he can't be better than Colin Kaepernick. He stinks these people who come after two to three years. They can't play anymore there. You cannot replicate the speed beat. You discuss it. But then the flip side in the mom and me. I'm saying he does play Someday I. He hasn't his by has been getting beaten all the last three years. Five to six more years. Thirty six really thirty thirty. Two footballers thirty. Yeah what was his younger again. I think I think there's three to five teams. You could play for. I just it but man of Sony the NFL is not is not full of owners. Who are courageous we? They're not and I also got hurt by the timing of myles Garrett and he did hurt by that I think owners looked at Myles Garrett right and what is this and then so when I saw this guy on top of that I think that just coincidentally happened her. So we'll I wanNA talk at length about the Redskins circumstance but we'll wait for old guy and we'll do it in old guy And we will be back Jason Lockenfora right of CBS sports. When we return we'll obviously ask him about Colin Kaepernick as well? I'm Tony Tony Kornheiser. You'll listening to the Tony Kornheiser. Show tweet this is the -sition ad that we did the other day for the first time I like it did.
