College Football Bets: Week 1

"On. Espn dot com chuck section. I've given them out daily wager. But you know we'll rip through a few here i want to start with. Ecu this numbers come down a little bit. They play thursday night against appalachian state and look. I think he's us live dog. Jay vermont talked about it as well. They have a bunch of veterans including senior quarterback and app. State's been a little shaky as well. And they have a new quarterback and chase. Bryce you might remember him. He played a key. Clemson then transferred to duke ten and a half a lot of points for team that always seems to pull games out of the hat and have crazy place at the end. I like myself getting double digits plus ten right now but still i would out jumping on on ec as long as you get double digits and maybe a little sprinkle on the money line. That could be some fun The came by actually liked the most Kinda scared about it and it's umass and everybody who listen to pod on a somewhat regular basis knows. I'm kind of the betting bully as humans. A frequent guest. Your calls me. I like to bet on bet against bad teams. Just just do it right. Like orioles season win total under. I've certainly bet against umass in the past but thirty eight is just way too many points. And i'll tell you why won't bell and umass went out and got a bunch of transfers. Their quarterback is a six foot five inch from from colorado like the university of and or colorado university of boulder. And they have two running backs that transferred in one from rutgers. So a team that was like. Fcs not too long ago or fcs quality has some real players and you only have to get thirty eight now pits good. But they're at tennessee. The following week nerd uzis not a guy who's going to run up the score. He's old school. Fourth quarter they'll bring in the is a little bit and on top of that. Probably the best handy angle. I have is the offense coordinator for pit is a guy named mark whipple. He's coached umass twice head coach. Also the most recent time was just a few years ago. This is not situation where he wants to embarrass his former program. Umass is a special place in his heart. Whipple's going to call off the dogs as well. So i just think if you can get about two touchdowns even if it's garbage time i think plus thirty eight is the play in. That game is crazy. As it sounds another game. I like is essentially a coin. Flip game and it syracuse minus one. And a half. you might remember. I've talked about it with jay motto. The over three in the win total. They're going to split time at quarterback. Babies made that announcement. I don't love it. I would prefer. Tommy devito to be the entire time but dual threat with michigan state. Sorry mississippi state transfer garrett schrader. They're just better at a lot of positions that ohio but most importantly syracuse addressed. Their offense align issues. There was a pathetic. Offense couldn't even average average about two hundred fifty yards per game. Not passing just total yards per game. The veto would be injured. A lot spent a lot of time on his back. If they're okay on the offensive line this is just a syracuse team. That's just better. No more frank. Solich at ohio. Bob cats will rotate. Quarterbacks curtis rourke. Who's obviously the brother of nathan rourke the former stud bob cats quarterback and then armani rogers transfer from unlv. Ohio's very good. They looked good last year against the too bad teams really bad teams in the mac akron bowling green. But i think use gets there which is better talent especially with vito healthy and maybe we hope and improved offensive line. Fourth play i want to talk about

Painter Bob Ross Is Subject of New Netflix Documentary

"Phone line. We welcome our good friend, Dr. Bob Thompson, professor of pop culture at Syracuse University. A Bob Good Morning. Good morning to you. So let's start an excuse me. I almost started coughing here, so I have not seen this yet. But I must say By this new documentary with Bob Ross, because I feel like this is going to really complicate the legacy of the artists that we all know, painted happy little trees pretty well. It doesn't so much complicate his personal legacy comes off pretty much as the usual Bob Ross with a couple of little revelations, an affair and a number of other things, but it certainly complicates the Legacy of who controls Bob Ross. His name and all the rest of it. I will think twice before ordering a Bob Ross mug after I see this stuff after I saw the documentary So the the back story behind this is you have the and I hope I get this right. The his family, the Kagalovsky family. Is that close to how to pronounce it. Okay. So you've got you've got Bob Ross, Uh and Annette and Walter Kowalski. Who were the ones? Of course. Who, uh, kind of helped him too. Become more popular with the T V show, which, of course, would then lead to the sales of his stuff in his seminars, his painting lessons and all of the rest of it, But then Bob Ross also has a son. So Bob Ross dies. This Bob Ross Inc kind of takes things over Bob Ross, his son loses control of, you know the name Bob Ross and all the rest of it, And mostly this documentary is the revelations of Ross, his son of things that happened after he died. But in the course of all that, there are also a lot of great clips of our Bob Ross's TV show and all the rest of it. And if you have not yet discovered, and there was kind of a renaissance of this show after he died, If you've not yet discovered it, it might make you go and take a look. He made television like

Dana Spiotta Talks About Wayward

"Deana spilled a joins us now. From the catskills. She is the author of many novels including innocence and others lightning field and stone arabia and her latest book is called wayward dana. Thanks for being here. Thanks so much for having me pamela. So this book begins with a house. Why what is this house. And what role does it play in the novel. Well it's a falling down arts and crafts house. That's in the city of syracuse. The main character. Sam has a habit of going to these kind of open houses. With no intention to buy and she finds us wreck of a house and syracuse you can actually buy houses for forty thousand dollars thirty thousand dollars that are completely falling apart and she just impulsively signs a contract for this house senate. Only when she's driving home that she realizes she's going to leave her husband and her entire life. And i think one of the questions that drives the novel in the beginning is why does she do this really reckless thing with her life and and i think she falls in love with the and i am part of me was thinking of writing a midlife person blowing up their life but i didn't want it to be because they fell in love with a younger lover which seems kind of cliche. I thought we're done with that. We're dealing with no this house. And i think the question is what is the house speak to her and i guess it wasn't what i was writing it. I didn't think about it as much. But after i thought okay. The house is hiding in plain sight at you could ignore it or you can look closely and see the beauty there and i think she's she thinks it speaks to her and she's the only one that can still see that it's beautiful and so maybe that has something to do about the state. The cheese in or that. Her life is in to that. She needs to kind of look at her life in a different way so she can see what's still beautiful and what still needs work. Maybe

"syracuse" Discussed on The Lead

"So dana chantal as you mentioned. The story came onto your radar back. In late april when eleven players had transferred out of the syracuse program. The numbers now actually up to twelve. What's the state of the syracuse program. After that mass exodus. And we're have most of those players who transferred out now landed everywhere. Several within the acc who tries think men painted as a complement their own program as a as a compliment. We have your players during the beasts. Schools are going to squeeze conference that means that there was something that really wanted. But like we've said over and over again. He's an excellent recruiter and as these players left he in a very active transfer portal was able to restock has stor with talented players from all over the country. And i think a lot of the reason it's happening here is because you know people's players transferring the explainations given and they assume that that's the truth and they don't really know what it's like on the inside of the program and so are on the inside of the program and i think that's sort of what we're trying to shed light on of what the culture of this program is so that people who choose to go there and they can't certainly can at least go with their eyes wide open and leslie. I guess i'm just wondering what lessons if any the two of you have taken away from this whole situation or maybe what lessons were conclusions. Other schools. other college basketball programs might draw. I mean from the very broad perspective. Look coaches players. Coaches intel. Said push players. We're not saying that you shouldn't be that way. We're not saying that that's unacceptable. Were saying that coaches who do that. Do that number one knowing the line to where to stop and do that understanding the relationship. They have with their players. And look. we're in a new world and what you know. I go to the men's game but whatever body on away with or whomever you want reference. It's not okay. It wasn't okay then but we accepted it. Our athletes are now telling us that is not only not okay. We're not accepting it anymore. And if you don't listen to that message you're not going to be in this business very long because players understand not only the power that they have what they deserve they just. They understand how they deserve to be treated. What stuck with me. The most is that we are in an age right now where it's not a faux pas to talk about mental health. Everyone is talking about it. Athletic departments need to provide resources for their student athletes in syracuse did have therapists for their athletes. However denies spent two months on the story and we spoke with three women who had suicidal thoughts while they were inside the syracuse women's basketball program. If you don't think that is a problem and if you don't think it could have been much worse. You're lying to yourself and i think if you're an athletic department and you're not asking those same questions. Something's wrong santo dana thanks to both the in response to the athletics requests for comment syracuse director of athletics. John wild hack sent the following statement like so many athletic programs across the country. Syracuse women's basketball saw a number of student athletes transferred to other programs following the twenty twenty one season while we experienced departures every year. The effects of covid nineteen were significant. We're also cognizant that every student athlete wants his much playing time as possible. It is the coaching staff responsibility to put the best players on the court at the right time to advance the program learning after the fact through the media that student athlete has had a concerning experience limits our ability to investigate an issue in real time. We urge any student athlete from across all sports past and present to bring to our attention. Any incidences of inappropriate behavior so we may initiate an investigation. We also employ student athletes to be candid in their exit interviews. The only way our leadership can address issues if we know about them syracuse. Athletics remains committed to providing a healthy academically rigorous competitive and rewarding environment to all student athletes. And he behavior from our student athletes coaches and staff that contradicts our commitment to these ideals is investigated thoroughly and if necessary appropriate action is taken to learn more about the mass exodus from the syracuse women's basketball program.

Why Are Vow Renewals So Meaningful?

"Vows by definition are very aspirational when a young couple vows to have and to hold whether rich or poor in sickness or in health you know hook goes to. They really know what they're in for. Of course they don't how could they often. They haven't seen enough of life yet of our renewal though is something else entirely. It's more than just a restatement of those original promises. It saying that after all these years of lived experience. I still love you. I'm still in this with you. And i stand here today. Ready to commit to all that. I love you. In spite of your beauty's in spite of your broken nece. I love you still. And i'm celebrating the fact that you love me still even though you know more about me than you did on our wedding day. That's reverend brian. Cockle he's dean of hendricks chapel at syracuse university. Which proud to say is my alma mater. Hendricks chapel is this sacred interface based on campus. The dates back to nineteen thirty on valentine's day. Brian was in the chapel presiding over a very unique very twenty twenty one kind of ceremony. It was a virtual group vow renewal for one hundred and fifty people at this time. I invite all of our participants to make. Sure your cameras are your microphones. And of course. This is the part where you repeat. After me courage you most of them were syracuse alumni or had some connection to the university. Like an and craig drum heller. They were married at hendricks chapel in nineteen ninety and returned on zoom for the renewal ceremony. Be your companion compan- your partner your partner. We somewhat successfully had everyone synchronize. Her it was we tried. And in addition to that we had musical selections. We had a nice surprise visit from ottawa. The orange our beloved mascot who brought some flowers who support you being with with it was our goal to say. Let's all in our busy lives in our lives filled with crisis in struggle. These days to stop pause. Look our partners in the eyes and say thank you for putting up with me. Let's keep at it.

Jimmy Boeheim Transferring to Join Dad, Brother at Syracuse for Final Season

"Jimmy, behind son of Jim Boeheim and brother of Buddy Boeheim will be joining his dad and brother and Syracuse Orange next season. After not playing this past season at Cornell, due to the Ivy League, not having a season, he thought it was time to return to what he called home. Here is his brother on how it came about. Once you started, the season came and their season was canceled and just based off this season and performance he had last year averaging close to 17 a game. 67 rebounds really improved and This summer. I just realized that you got a lot better and he could. He could help us. I thought even this year, but he was ready to the point of this level. And me and my dad kind of talked about here and they're just saying what he could do for us, and I think middle of this year he kind of had his mind up that he was going to come here and it was just Excitement, and I think he just can't wait to get here and get playing. But when people talked, you know about you around your dad's program. No one said like he was the coach's kid. Everyone said you were just another guy and that you're coaching your dad made you work like everyone else. How do you think that helped you develop under him? And how do you think that's gonna help your brother? I think it helped a lot right from the start. I told him this streaming like everyone else. I'd yell at me when I make a mistake, And obviously he's often coach so I know he's going to do just that. I don't have to tell him anything, and he knows what more Evades me how to motivate me, and he knows I'm gonna work as hard as I can. No matter what. So Jimmy's the same way he works just as hard. He's got that great mindset. He's tough, and he's gonna be ready to work from

Be Less Apologetic With Kimberly Blackwell

"Kim welcome to to professional troublemaker. Oh my god. It's also thrilled to be here. This is a long time coming long time coming too long to low. Always start off by asking my guess. What did you wanna be when you were growing up. fun fact. I actually wanted to be a sports medicine doctor really so i have a passion for sports. Okay and really for me. was very curious about medicine. And actually my undergraduate degree i went to syracuse made and so everything by way of my preparation was to go to medical school so sports medicine. So how old were you when you realize that. That's something that you wanted to be. So here's what i'll tell you. I think i feel like. I thought i wanted to be a doctor. Probably as early as junior high. Not quite as young as elementary. But i think i'd junior high. I kinda develop that curiosity around medicine and then i played sports in high school so i played volleyball and basketball when i got to syracuse. They ask them okay so listen. This had a scholarship for basketball to yale. Oh did not go to your obviously to this day. My father does not let me live that down. Okay i'm gonna bring you way back because this is fascinating okay. So five year old. kim. How was she. Okay let's back that up okay. So kim started school at three years. Old ooh okay. And so for. Kim went to montessori school. I started early. Kim was also advanced a great. So i tell folks. Nothing i do or have done has ever been conventional started school early advanced. The great graduated fairly young. I pledged in my teens. Alpha kappa alpha. Oh yeah it's like so but going back to your question. I think five year old cam actually still has a lot of the characteristics of forty something year old count. I think i always was a people person. Okay i think i was always operating from a position of excellence. I put pressure on myself. And i remember this even as a child i wanted to beat you in everything that we play like kick ball. I want to win. Like and i want to win. Not by you know two kicks but by ten So i was very competitive. i think as I looked to areas sort of where i tried to kind of position myself. As a team player. I think even the end and having played soccer as a toddler to montessori school so i was kinda raised in that environment of like you know we have. We didn't sit desk with chairs we were taught to be. Free are thinking won'- the room with blocks and all that good stuff. We call it our teachers by their first name. Gianna oh no i'm burn. No i will never forget him. John berno and it was. It was really cool. My my parents like you know my mother's educator. So you know grew up. In the fact where my mother started as a schoolteacher and so you know we will come home to kids. We didn't know sitting in a diner on the table because my mother really kind of operated like you know it takes a village and though our who is it you know but i think i develop that sense of community and responsibility to community by saying my mother embodied that early age and so she was an educator teacher there became an administrator retired as the superintendent on my father was in public service I grew up where he had been on the council city council but even before that school board So we would have kids. We were sasha malia without knowing way bag win do on parades my were you oldest oldest of three. I'm the oldest. Three pitchers like my dad was the mayor you know. And so they're big plaques with you know his name and we're sitting on his lap and council chamber. My dad is pretty well traveled. He you know has served as an ambassador. Un ambassador he served as undersecretary hoods all. That's where i got a lot of my service responsibilities.

March Madness recap: NCAA Tournament is off to a historic, upset-riddled start

"We are here to talk through the third full day of the two thousand twenty one. Ncaa tournament is a wild. That'll be remembered for a number one seed losing to an in state opponent and for three double digit seeds advancing to the sweet sixteen. We'll get the top seeded illinois lose loyal chicago in a bit. But i want to start with the double digits. In that one on sunday number eleven syracuse upset number three west virginia. Jim bejon against all odds is in the sweet sixteen number twelve oregon state upset number four oklahoma state wayne tinkle against all. Odds is in the sweet sixteen in number fifteen oral roberts upset number seven florida. Paul mills against all odds is in the sweet sixteen dead-leg makes sense. What in the world is going on in indiana. You want me to make sense of this. No shot and need you to make some sense. I'm not gonna make any sense of this. It's been a gloriously. Chaotic and we are knocking on the door of historic and double a. tournament so with these Upsets in addition to others. First of all eight teams from eight separate leagues are now into the sweet sixteen and with the other obviously on monday The most is that could If that could happen Also we have had so the instable a and shops the david warlock who's obviously the media coordinator of all the stuff. He tweeted this about twenty five minutes before we started podcasting so we define an upset as a team seeded five spots or more lower than their opponent we've already set the record with eleven such occurrences were midway through the second round. We have the so another way of saying that is. We're not done the second round yet. The already been eleven games in which a team separated by. At least five seed lines have seen the team lower seeded when it is history. And it's it's just wild man. I actually think we're also on pace. I haven't had time to research this but are. Cbs sports hq team is researching it. I think we are probably on pace. Because of this to have the highest collective number for all the seeds meaning like we've got fifteen in their plus a twelve and oregon state plus eight with loyal. If you get what. I'm saying like when we get to the sweet sixteen. If you add up all the seeds it's going to be the highest total we've ever had there and i can't make any sense of it. I don't know if because like if we'd had this enormous setting with fans and stuff would it be the same. No i mean every single tournament x exists unto itself. If you played this thing again you're going to have all sorts of different kinds of results but is it because it's happening in the pandemic in one location in the venues it's happening at is that allowing for more chaos. I'm i can't say that. It is and i can't say that that's not the reason so i'm loving this parish. Get enough of all of this. Although i will say Oregon state is maybe the most random and congrats to the beavers man. It's the most of sweet sixteen. Maybe ever this team was nowhere. Near the bubble it has not been relevant in its own conference for most of the past four decades and has come out of nowhere to get into the second week for the first time since one thousand nine hundred to

This is the result of of this year. We're going to be doing this again next year. We're going to be able to compare from year one to year two And we're really going to be talking about it in a way. That new else has talked about it. In a consistent manner as well it's gonna make his database publicly available so practitioners. Researchers policymakers have access. You want me to go first with this one? Yeah. Well actually if Mike Hopkins do you think that either side has any interest in in in getting back together rekindling the relationship with yeah. Yeah, probably. Yeah, I think both both should right I think both shed for sure. I just I wasn't sure it was still on the table Yeah, I think you know wildhack is is the page be there now. He's pretty close to the vest. But I know he's very close with OP very close to Bahama Syracuse Alam. So I I think he'd look at Hop, but again, it's hooked up right now based on what he's done the last year and half at Washington. It's been pretty ugly. So all right. I'm going to give you mine ready. My swing-for-the-fences. Is it really a swimmer? Offenses cuz they could get them. None other I wonder if it's the same guy. I have Rick Pitino. Oh God. No Rick Pitino. She's boys with payout. They're closed. Okay, he's off his much younger. Much younger like seven years. He's only 68. I believe you can get him in a heartbeat and he'll be motivated and dammit. He's the best X's and O's guy came in in college hoops. You're going to replace a three-year-old Jim Boeheim with sixty eight year old Ricky seventy-five. I think I think it's still like I mean, come on. What's younger? It's like off for me to you rob seven years like that. All right. That's my that's my pick. You can mock it all you want but Rick Pitino you both know people in the league would be scared shiftless to see Rick Pitino again. If they saw material they would wonder whether to bring up whoever you're going to bring up for Syracuse. My guy is a better Coach. All right. Anyway, then my other may want the safe one. You could go hop you can go Gerry McNamara. I'm going to go Kevin Willard. I'm going to Kevin Weller Northeast guide done. A great job at Seton Hall again has some ties through Pitino to Bay Haim. Although I don't think they're buddies because he was on my list of all they're not boys anymore because of a phone call would I think right? Yeah. Anyway, I'm not going to go into the phone call. "This is the all into Clemson football podcast the official unofficial podcast of the Clemson Tigers wage. What's up? Everybody Briley here along with Carter. Thank you for joining us for this Clemson vs. Syracuse preview episode. Of course as probably Everyone Knows by now Clemson's last loss in the regular season came at the hands of the orc h o know is there a lead a less intimidating mascot name than the orange? I feel like there's some really goofy ones out there, but prove me wrong. I can't think of any right now. I'll let you know throughout. All right, you can find someone keep thinking about it. Sorry to bring that game for everyone though. That was that was fun. We're a little better now though. So that's okay. There is something that I'm fired up about though and it's because people are not taking the Tigers as seriously as they should be. You know, what I'm about to say here. Do you get that feeling I saw the point spread and it's outrageous. It's currently at 45 points. Why isn't outrageous M45 exactly. It's only 45 points. Are you kidding me right now? 73 to 7. That was the last game. All right. Do better Vegas do better off. That's all I'm saying. We need some respect around here. Maybe they were listening to Tony Elliott this week. Cuz here's what he had to say about the Syracuse defense defensively. They they do a lot of stuff that cause you prob They could easily embarrass you if you're not if you're not focusing jump in and out of structure. They attack you on defense really Tony really that could embarrass us. Feel like we do this with every single day. It's not a freaking week. And I know why they do this. Okay. Listen, they they always pump up these teams because if they lose to them by some miracle, then they can go back and say listen we warned you about how these teams could be good and how they could be at us and I mean to be fair Syracuse did beat Clemson two years ago three years ago about ten years ago was the last time Clemson last I forget I think it was 2017. So I don't know. It's just funny to me every time every dang time. We hear these coaches. They're just like, oh, yeah, they're really good. They can embarrass us. You know, any team could beat us and on any given week. Actually I'm getting ahead here because this sounds like a worthless piece of sound that should be included in the collection that or you mean you think I could get Tony Adan in my Coaches Corner Navy will find out will have to get back for the whole ask the tough questions. All right. Well, we'll have to come back for the recap episode to 5 a.m. Out in this episode that is loaded by the way, it's just chock-full of good stuff for you. I'm excited because Anna hickey from Clemson 24/7 is going to join us and she is going to give us a proper preview of the Syracuse game this weekend. You may not like us you may not like the way that we preview the game, but you're going to like add up because she does a good job of previewing the game. So stick around for that. We got tickets for you real quick. Yes Stanford trees. Wait, is that continue on is that really their their mascots a tree with a smiley face down there the Stanford Cardinal but their mascots a tree I didn't ask about them. Well, I would still take you with an orange. I'm just throwing a stupid while you could have a tree or an orange. I'm still picking the oranges orange tree. Thank you for that. Okay. So after Anna see this is exactly what people Come here for you should stick around for Anna that cuz what we say is stupid after that interview and speaking of stupid our board director Trevor has a new version of what we just talk about the worthless sound collection for the week where we compile all the crap in the sewage and the sludge that coaches and players say they just vomit out of worthless sentences and I don't blame them again. They get in front of they have to talk for ten to twenty or thirty minutes at a time and we don't expect everything to be valuable. But God there's a lot of cliches out there and it makes it funny. So we're going to we compile all that Trevor did that is and he'll play that for us after we talked to Anna hickey and then after the worthless sound collection, we will be visited by God Becky who has will lead us in a new game of Clemson and clumps out to send us out to the weekend on a proper note. Are you looking forward to this car? I sure am. Are you still looking for a job? Or mascots I can tell you're not really into this opening right now Tulane Green Wave again. I'm still taking the orange. All right, keep trying. All right, Carter looks for that. Let's go ahead and listen to the interview with Anna hickey. Super grateful that Anna hickey has taken the time to join us today. Anna is reporter from Clemson 24/7 and does an excellent job covering all things Clemson football and recruiting and I'm very excited not hear her insights today for everyone who's listening to be sure to follow Anna on Twitter at Ana H. 247 and how's it going today? Hey, what's up? I'm good. Thanks for hanging on. Yeah. Thanks for taking the time to join us. We're looking forward to this game on Saturday. And my first question for you is and I've heard that I've heard reporters say this that the fans don't really love them in kickoffs the early kick-offs, but I think the reporters do because you have deadlines and it makes it easier to get stuff in on Saturday, right? Well, I don't you know, obviously everything I do is online and you can publish live I published my own work. So I'm not a dick a newspaper in terms of working under a deadline but absolute faith in regards to liking it should kick. First of all, if your chance to kind of watch the night games and normally they're a little bit more funky than the earlier games like last week with Clemson having an early age or short attack. I was able to wash Alabama and Georgia and that was awesome and then just kind of just throws off your whole clock. You know Clemson 8:00 game. The game's not over much before been long. You have to wait for the coaches to shower come back and talk to the media the same with the players and then you write up your article. I mean, you're not out of the we're not out of the Press Box normally much before 4:30 a.m. To 2 a.m. So and then you just wake up the next morning and I got to start all over again with calluses and updates of the game. So just kind of start to me, but God Yeah, these new games help. Keep you more on schedule. Yeah, well, have you ever suggested to them like last week when the game was over at halftime that they just do the interviews at halftime instead, Georgia Tech. Yeah. Yeah. I mean those games with the nice thing about the globe so that you kind of start writing at half-time and I like to watch the second half see how the some of the backups play. But yeah, you got a nice one on that one on what your writings that you know, once it's once it's over you publish and kind of get things ready for interviews and it does cut down on some of your post work full time in the Press Box. Absolutely. Well something tells me that this week might be kind of a similar game. So let's just start it off with this question. Does Syracuse have any chance at all to upset upset Clemson this weekend? I mean no starting. Yeah, probably even split. So yeah, there is always going to be a chance but you.

"Of pop culture at Syracuse University pretty good buzz on the mad about you reboot hi Bob yeah pretty good not great it's kind of makes the I watch the season with six episodes of twelve of played and it's very much like the old shows matter fact the laugh track seems even be more old school laugh track I don't think it we shot in front of a live audience so I think it's actually a laugh track laughter I leave it to you to pick up the people laughing aren't live that's a letter could be wrong but there it doesn't look like a standard you know live in front of the audience and all of this stuff within the got an occasional and it's a very occasional appearance of the F. word on the languages pretty much something that could have played in a in an ID should come but we forget okay because first of all not a lot of people I think are going to see that because it's on spectrum which means if you don't have spectrum cable you got to subscribe to get a certain number of shows via spectrum online so it's kind of been in kind of an obscure place but the first time around this was absolutely huge she was one of the first he was in the first class that was called must see TV on back at NBC and guy eat of course went seven seasons and was part of that whole Seinfeld and wings and all the rest but that really got that Thursday going in its second generation after The Cosby family ties things better but not mad about you was a big deal and it's not no doubt about it and I think of all the different reboots that they've done in like the last twelve eighteen months this when there's just there's just like a comfort level like if you watched it you can see yourself just sitting down and pick and right back up and there's just something about it that just seems to play yeah they just look older but you you're right why very much like the old the the old the old show do you know what would finally knocked must see TV also been BC after twenty one years they were doing that block of two hours of sitcoms from eighty three to two thousand four and very successful at it after twenty one years guess who killed must see TV I don't remember well he gets blamed for everything else so let's blame for this Donald Trump really in two thousand for the NBC wasn't able to continue to find hit sitcom they were desperate to compete with us CSI which was doing great guns over at CBS on in two thousand four at NBC decides to put the apprentice on instead of sitcoms on Thursday night spectacularly it it was a really good show in the beginning also so what are you blaming him for that or is that like Hey that's just a natural progression no I want to be a success yeah yeah it was Donald trump's apprentice that in fact stop the run of a a two hour sitcom block on on on Thursday and he I don't know if you watch the president's first seasons it was actually quite a compelling show in the beginning yeah most of the more when they first come on it's like a fresh taking if you've got compelling people why would you want yeah that's true it's got old and he appeared surprisingly little on that show he'd come in in the end to do the boardroom and fire people but the the biggest portion of that show was the contestants all doing there competition and then he would pop in now and again and say a few things and he'd be gone yeah well there's probably some people that would like that model to come back right yes you are right about that okay great so Bob have a great weekend we always appreciate the conversation that's our pop culture guru Dr Bob Thompson he teaches popular culture at Syracuse University eight.

"When you went well they just use me as scouting fullback and they said run straight ahead and get your ass kicked? You were fullback scout team so so basically so important than you would probably you probably saw for like six three and became a fullback and then now you're down my spine guys buying it was actually saying I want to get into something real quick here because we had sean on mcvay on the show like three months ago I think and Grit Week and he said that he had some words with you. He said that he wanted to coach for you at Syracuse and that you took his resume put at the bottom of the pile and he said yeah we had this whole discussion at the <hes> at the head coaches <hes> the elite meet so we have this meeting so they're the bunch of us now around the table and you know he's like yeah. You wouldn't even hire me. I'm like well. Let me ask you a question who recommended you so he says well. This coach recommended may say that's absolutely absolutely wide and hire you and everyone at the table agreed with me okay yeah so it was a coach there <hes> who recommended him that <hes> coach that was coach with me at Syracuse and I wound up having to make a move but <hes> he's he's the one who recommended him and I think of any other coach recommend Sean. I think you would have a chance. I said that's why you gotta be careful and anyone out there thinking. Make sure you know you know who's recommending you for. The job and I said I was always brought up to that. If I wanted a job I would never or have anyone else call for me. I would always call myself so I would call myself and say hey listen I'm so and so this is what I wanna do a looking for a job and then if there was interest and I I'd give him references right you know I think so. I was like Sean John. You gotta be more you know he gotta get going when you were younger but now he is so he's great but he's done a great job and on hold again but he he he he bust my chops like those types of coach means. I just assume that it's everybody in a room together. Just busting balls just making fun of each other when I'm around. That's I mean that's how I how I am yeah..

"Maybe isn't the year for them because there's a lot of numbers year for them. But there's a lot of teams in this conference this year that can really put the ball in the bucket from range. And that's how you beat Syracuse. Right. Like, even Virginia Tech, which not historic basketball program. They are horrible matchup for Syracuse this year. They have a big man who can put the ball on the floor, and they can shoot threes. And I think we have a lot of that in the ACC. So maybe Syracuse Syracuse one of those teams though, and this is always with them as the season goes on they become better and better because it's it's a system it's a complicated zone system. Where the more they can the more. They learn the more. They can do the more complicated. They can be for me if you're gonna. Take a shot outside the big three Florida state already in the quarter-finals. So I might buy a little Florida state and Virginia Tech and just like I feel like you can find value after that with twelve and fifteen to one for two one of those teams. One of those teams will most likely be in the semi finals. So that's my two cents. Right. I like Syracuse is the long show. Okay. Yeah. Same here. Syracuse is long shot and no-one on this podcast is talking about UVA. Ryan, I know you hate him. But I don't them. Them not strong enough. I should know that you NBC one the they moved along to another round. And and then when the stunning Stony Brook got upset so you going to get Binghamton and pretty much they're going to go play Vermont in the champion. Would wouldn't wouldn't it be great forget rematch? No, I I mean. Yes, if it happened again, but it won't happen again. And I throw this out to let Shawn finish his point about UVA UVA literally last place in division one college basketball at tempo three hundred and fifty third place. All right. That's too ugly. Give me get you ever. The great though NC but little sprinkle on cues longshot, forty two one. Are you kidding me? And I think the one kind of thing when I was starting to look at the good teams and where their weaknesses are surprisingly Virginia is not a team that's turning teams over. So that would be something. I would call out as you know, come tournament time. They're not they're not forcing. Anna turnovers. Another reason why like North Carolina here, you know, who is. A lot of turnovers defense turnover percentage. Twenty two point four leading the conference by nice margin. Second is North Carolina State number one. Syracuse get the turnovers fifty balls, and let me find something awesome. They do on offense. Okay. Well, whatever either way it's great team funder for and. Yeah, dude, I love just betting on Syracuse in the tournament. Syracuse Michigan state. It's easy money. Yeah. All day. These good coaches can whip these guys in the shape. This is when they show up early rounds in March madness and the conference tournament. That's when you play the March madness. I'm sure we'll mention a million times on short rest you love behind you love. Are you little bit worried? You know, he recently killed a guy. Yeah. But. This is the great thing about being a coaches. Hey, I'm looking forward to the next Hitler homicide. Okay. I'm not I'm not stuck thinking about the guy plaid, Dan. He's back behind the wheel for the Mexico. That was a sad story. That was really sad. He just Jim bay Heim ran over some guy. He's an old guy. Driving a nice gotta get these guys found out. "Syracuse game was really a prototypical reverse line movement with a line opened up at six and with everybody betting the game the general consensus on that game. I think was almost seventy five percent on Virginia twenty five percent on Syracuse. We know we hammered the game. So we we always move the lines. I mean, guys when we put in a bed believe me between myself, Mike, and every client that we have we can move a line three points in no time. So we were hammering that Virginia game as well. Why would the line go from six down to five while wreck? I mean, listen that is a prototypical reverse line movement as you alluded to earlier and with that type of money on the Virginia side. Yes. You would normally see that line go to seven seven and a half, maybe even up to eight and what they're trying to do is they're trying to sway the public conception of that killer trying to trick every day. I mean, that's basically what they did it. They accomplished it one hundred percent because let's face it. If everybody out there knew that that game was going to end the way it did. I mean, how are they gonna make money on the vague? That's where the money comes from for the tour of book. Sure their job is to make sure that more money gets bet on Syracuse. If they're lopsided on Virginia guys they accomplished their goal late. But we still took him for a lot of money. If you would called the company that would have been a diamond club game, Mike, why don't you tell them about your diamond club information? But I I want to get these two games out there guys. "Not big college basketball fans. Listen to this show at least says station, but Saturday night was Duke was back in action without Zion. Williamson we spoke at length about him last week, Bernie, including what I thought about Barack Obama's tweet scient- didn't play and they took on Syracuse. You don't know the story. Syracuse beat Louisville last Wednesday night and after the game Syracuse, legendary hall of fame coach, Jim boeheim was driving home. And there was a pedestrian on the highway his corner, just hit a guardrail. He got out of the car. He walked away from the car. He was on the highway, and he was struck by Syracuse head coach Jim boeheim and the guy died now Jim got out of the car. He tried to help the guy he stayed. There did all he could. But the guy died, which I can't imagine the nightmare as you go through just the sound of hitting a body down a dark night when you least expect it. So Jim did coach Saturday night against Duke? It's horrible and. Fact Syracuse at a five point lead at the half, but do came out in the second half and just killed them and Duke on the game. But behind spoke the crowd was very emotional Duke, head coach, Mike, shefty, very emotional. Gave them a big hug at center court spoke to the game. But what a great guy behind is. He's tough he'll get through this. But behind cried a bunch after the game not about the loss of Duke. But talking about that experience. So it was a very emotional night up in Syracuse New York on Saturday for that took Syracuse basketball. It's really traumatic. Yeah. To kill a guy like that. She's I don't know. That makes high story another note from that game is the largest ever cry. College basketball games. You have a story similar to that. I was driving. On Long Island Friday night. And I didn't realize that the loop Parkway was closed for the weekend. Starting at ten o'clock. Is this a true story true story? All right here, we go. And I see signs on the metal brook Parkway. When I get on it at about nine Forty-five Luke Parkway closed at ten o'clock until five o'clock Monday morning. So it takes you about fifteen minutes. Go down the metal broke to get to the loop. So I start speeding. I start racing down. There is I'm gonna make this damn thing. I'm not gonna go. Otherwise, I'd have to go across Long Island freeport, Baldwin long. The Dow won't be it's a pain in the neck. So I start flying down. And the next thing. You know, I see I see. I see a state trooper sitting there in the middle lane. I'm doing about by seventy five crazy Bernie fifty five eighty dude. So sure enough he comes out pulls me overly did stop. You pulls me on those lights. Go on you. Don't your heart is important to your lap. Damn. I've been arrested a couple of times. But you know, here's the thing. Years ago that different years ago that would have been the case, I even said that to my son, I said, it really is a good feeling when you get pulled over, you know, everything's on the up and up and everything's legal. "I got in. Syracuse is a is a great community. If you wanna follow her, by the way, it's Justin underscore, Brooke B, R O O K E on Twitter. I just followed. You just now I noticed you haven't followed me back, but I'm sure you'll fix that. Okay. Good. The fact that you're there is interesting today because Jim boeheim, of course, the longtime decades and decades head coach for the Syracuse university, orange empties won national championships. There was making news today actually feared for him. Because when when you trend on Twitter idiot died or something really bad happened. And it turns out something really bad did happen. He was in some sort of an accident. What what are you know, from from the campus before we get into the chemistry formed stuff? What do you know about that? Right. So I actually just saw this statement released by the chancellor emailed, everybody telling us all that Jim boeheim ran over a pedestrian. I also lived on our local news station and currently this pedestrian his car. Eater broke down or something happened, which is. Yeah. Something happened with this car and he had to get out. And check something out. He ended up standing in the middle of this highway and Jim behind it. It's been reported that he tried to swerve out of the way we wouldn't hit the fan. Unfortunately, he and you've heard from both the family from the behinds end from the family of the victim everybody, obviously extremely upset about they're calling. It just a tragic accident at this point, right, right? We'll get you. I appreciate you filling us in a and again anytime something happens in Syracuse. It's such a high profile university in with Jim boeheim attaching want to make sure that we get that out front. These local newscasters, they're they're on campus today, collecting information and stuff. Channel nine right now is on our campus. They're interviewing people. Everyone's information. Appreciate you. Updating us on that. It's just the Murray going follow her on Twitter campus, reform dot org. Visit the website that I go to every morning where these great young correspondence on college. Campuses are uncovering the nuttiness that's going on at our universities and colleges. Let's talk about what's happening there at Syracuse, anti Israel, internship, turns out you credit. I'm sorry. Help me out with this one. Right. So there's an organization here called is. Syracuse peace council and its off campus is an organization in the community, and they call themselves an anti-war, social activism organization. And they have a committee called Justice or Palestine aware a bunch of these activists to are part of the council, I tried to promote the boycott movement against Israel. So you weeks ago they had an event called pals and behind the wall, and I don't want undercover. And did some interviews with the people who are part of this piece council someone expressed their support for HAMAs an internationally recognized terrorist organization. And other people said that Zionism hats. They also said that other people committing violence against sinus that is okay in some circumstances. So this group. Syracuse university will offer internships to students who they will offer credit for students who insurance for this group into majors the citizenship and civic engagement major and they're writing and rhetorical studies. Major. Well, just just wondering just in Syracuse university is I know is a publicly funded. Universities did not it's not private is it it is a private university show. There's no public funds coming in at all. So they can have stuff like, let's let's support HAMAs and give credit for that. They have since it's a private university. They have a lot more leeway. Why? Yeah. And a lot of alumni have complained to the university. They do rely off of alumni and funding for parents and donations. So they can still get in trouble or this type of stop. Oh. When this story came out when I read about it or campus or the chancellor, vice chancellor submitted a statement treaties ago, I'm basically, and I actually have it right here. Very nice. Okay. What what are they saying? Are they backing away from this at all or not? So a lot of fluff. In this statement university is aware of meteor students receiving credits or internships with the peace council, and they denounce anti Israel activity. They say we do not support the boycott type thing she's movement yet. They talk about we made clear that we have supported. And we encourage discussion debate an academic freedom. So therefore, they will not make clear or even say whether they will stop permitting, internship credits to go into these students. They don't appear to the night. Either. Look, it's it's definitely happening. They would have said it's not happening. Right. So. Fresh down a little bit. They said, oh, well, we haven't had students injuring forgiveness organization says twenty fourteen and those were only two stance. Well, professor actually told me she knows a student who interned for this organization. Just last fall. It is. I just the Murray going follow her. Justin underscore, Brooke B, R O. Okay. Over on Twitter campus, reform dot org. This is where she's a correspondent. She is right now at Syracuse university while you're never gonna be able to go undercover. And sneak into a group again, you have a very unique. Look, there's no way you're gonna get away with that again. So hopefully, it was good enough bedtime because there's no way. All right. Also at Syracuse, the US constitution. It turns out is exclusionary to some students. Now, I might be an idiot. And you haven't made that decision yet. But you'll find soon enough that I am. But everybody in this country is actually they actually live under the guise of our constitution. That's the foundation. There is nobody was excluded from our constitution. If you go to school at Syracuse university. What is this all about? Anti-american? And that's what it is. It started with we try to create the young Americans for freedom. Check your after using. In our mission statement, we copied the Sharon statement is expressed on the national parent organization, the Young America's foundation, and basically we recognize the US constitution has been in court document, but they said recognizing the constitution is exclusionary to international students and students you not necessarily agree with the constitutional ought to stop. You know, it doesn't matter if they agree with the constitution. If you're going to school here, they they're under just like if I go to Saudi Arabia. I'm going to follow the sharia law whether I like it or not. So I if I don't wanna do that. I don't go there. They really wanted to make the case you're tried to make the case that our constitution. Excludes people became internationally. Do they not realize that they're here? It doesn't matter where they're from their here. When you're in a country America or another country, you you you're laws. But I mean, I guess they just don't see that. Or they want to ignore that. Interestingly a lot of international students come to universities like because of the freedoms and opportunities provided by the constitution. At the end of the day. They actually they're gonna hold that flame and say, no, no, no. This is exclusionary our founding document that actually sets up the supreme laws of this land. They shouldn't apply to international students. I mean are people really that dumb that they believe that? Actually, I think that's a little bit discriminatory. International students by saying, well, we want to assume that you're going to agree. Yeah. I also find it pretty contradictory. Because the new house communications on our campus has the first amendment. In big letters all over the building and communications school brags about how they uphold the values of the first amendment. They uphold the values of free speech. They don't when a chapters like young Americans for freedom on our campus. And I actually think this is a double standard where okay the school is not stopping. Syracuse peace council and a blatantly anti-israel organization. They're not stopping students receiving credit for that organization yet they will go out of their way to shut down any conservative group or conservative speech on campus. An important point. I agree with you, the international students. No, they're coming to the land of the free the home of the brave. They know they're coming to a place that is covered by the constitution. Which means even if you came from a land of sharia law that's incompatible with our constitution. You get freedoms. And liberties here that you wouldn't have at home. Even I think that it does denigrate the students, and it also makes the people who are saying it look like a bunch of idiots Murray. Justin underscore, Brooke over on Twitter campus reformed or she's a great correspondent there last one. I've got about a minute or so conservative students dared say build that wall or build the wall. What happen to them? Right. So actually Tyler to me a conservative student from the university oswego he was part of this young Americans for freedom chapter over there. So when they had a display that said build a wall under sign. Yeah. Jack rats on Twitter and on other social media worms. And. Contacted the school from what they've told me. And from what I've read on campus the school they they helped out a little bit. But you know, they took a while to really get actor them. And the big issue here is that violence is considered. Okay. Now, you have your beliefs that are different from the political norm on college campuses violence is okay. And these administrators they will overlook violent threats towards students who are conservatives yet. This was any other minority or any other group on campus receiving these threats to ever was sending those threats. They would be immediately kicked out of school. They would be prosecuted, and it would be a big deal is not a big deal because they dare have an opinion on the opposing side to most professors and most schools just he'd really appreciate your glad to have you on for the first time follow her at just the in her. "And did you get a centrum coach K last night that this is something he will come back from before the tournament? Well, coach K after the game seven his press conference that it was a shoulder sprain. And then do put out a press release afterwards saying it was an AC separation in your AC joint is what allows you to lift your arm over your head. So it could be a short period of time. It could be as much as twelve weeks. If you go by what the medical books say, I have no idea. I didn't stay in Holiday Inn express last night. I'm not I'm not in that business. But however long he is out RJ Barrett can run the point actually trae Jones didn't play that trip. They add up in Canada trade joins nor camera tish played in that trip. They had and RJ Barrett round the point he can do it and Duke will still be good. Nobody's gonna feel sorry for them. They have three top ten picks on their team. They'll be fine. But they won't be near as good without dry Jones. One more thing. I wanted to get your reaction to after the game Jim boeheim again. Syracuse a huge win last night. And he made a very interesting Farris in about Zion. Williamson. Take a listen to defend him. He's he's he's he's a physical specimen. He's like Charles Barkley was except he shoots better than Charleston. And he's not as fat. So. I hope Charles will combat. He'll have he'll have something for me there. All right. I'm using. And what do you think of the comparison Barclay? Any comparison we make was dying Williams than we are reaching. And we're only getting a partway there. He's unique. We have never seen anyone like him on a basketball floor. Nobody saying he's the best player we've ever seen. But we have never seen anything like this guy any comparison. We're just we're just reaching in the dark. Though, he's a little Barkley, and he's a little LeBron's and he's all of the above and he is the first ever Zion. Williamson. Jay, thanks a million for getting up early and doing this. We will see you again soon. And we'll obviously keep close ear on what's going on there. With the injury at Duke. Meanwhile, an SEC double header highlights our Super Tuesday tonight in Athens, Georgia hosting Callan number twelve Kentucky. "I can't bring this up enough times. Maybe because I'm always consumed by it, and that is the cold. We just went through with the national weather service is projecting an Arctic blast. We're talking about. One of these legendarily cold games cold his game ever in Kansas City. How if at all do you believe that impact Mahomes? Well, you know, obviously played in the cold game this past weekend and seem to to handle it. Well, you know, a lot of guys greenie win. It gets cold. They want to go to a glove. You know, we've seen people do it in the past. In fact, Tom Brady, you know, did it early on in his career would not be surprised to see him. Do it again this week? And the reason guys do that is listen when it gets that cold the leather on a football just gets slipped. It's hard to to handle. Sometimes, you know, the other thing that you know, you got to do. So when you've got to deal with that you then are saying, okay. Well, now, I'm doing something differently that I haven't done all season long. And then you have to ask yourself like is that guys control and command with where he wants to put the football the same if he decides to wear glove. I wouldn't expect Mahomes to do it considering he didn't go to it last week. How it affects guys it affects guys differently. I mean, she Tom Brady basically wears a wet suit, you know, underneath his unit. Perform to deal with the cold temperatures. So everybody does it differently. I I have to say after seeing homes play last week. I don't think it ends up being a big issue to me. Thanks you million for this. You'll jump back with us a little later this morning. We'll do some more football. But back to what we lead with this morning. Our top story of the day. Again, a really significant injury for the number one college basketball team in the country Duke lost at home last night against Syracuse. But that's not the headline. This is that's true Jones, maybe the least known of their four freshmen, but a very important part of what they do. A key integral PC is sort of the reader of that group and down. He goes it's at suffered a sprained shoulder. I he thought it was a broken collarbone. It appears not to be that. So that is a very tough injury for him in DJ Bilas is whether it's called the game last night. And thank you for jumping in with us here. Jay, how would you put into context? Just how significant that injury is to do. Greenies potentially devastating to dukes championship hopes if trae Jones cannot play going forward, he is the most important piece on that team. He's the best defender in the country in my judgment, a little early to say he's the best defender I've seen in a Duke uniform, but he certainly the best freshman defender I've ever seen in a Duke uniform. He does so many things with his pressure on the ball early in the game. Syracuse had to turn their facts, and they were running their office wait further out on the floor out of an operating area. Duke at five steals in the first six minutes with trae Jones in there when he went out. I think they had only one steal the rest of the way in Syracuse could face the basket and attack from their normal operating areas, and they were much different team. They may have won the game. Anyway, who knows I'm not saying that's why they won. But it's a big factor in the game. And how it was played and trae Jones with his leadership with the ball. But more importantly with his defense is pressure on the ball the way he plays off the ball allows his teammates to get into passing lanes. It's a totally different team. Different feel without him in there. Yeah. And again, I'm not a doctor and neither you, but the athletes tend to know things like this. I mean does this feel to you?.

"He's an amazing athlete. You see him? Get back in transition swapped the offensive player tries to maintain under two minutes ago. Syracuse is down one tightest battle has. Other ideas. What am I this kid at not sit down? He was scored thirty to Syracuse the lead eighty five eighty four just over twenty seconds to play do still down one. We're going to get it desire on Zion flick it inside and they call the foul you like the call I like to call. Syracuse planner trae Mark Zoll Zion. Does a terrific job of continuing to force it to the bucket when we get to the line especially late in the basketball game. You got to step up and knock them down. The first misses the second Zion thirty five points, ten rebounds. What we're going to overtime where do is down five. RJ? Barrett knocked down three Baruch twenty three point sixteen boards, nine dupe still alive. Coach K calls a timeout. Ensuing possession, Eric guns. Syracuse the drive. No. But Yuka was there. He's the vendor called the how they call the foul on earlier on the plate was I on he drills that one ensuing. Do possession desperation time Zion. No, they're gonna get an offensive rebound then kicking around Alex O'Connell. And this is sort of the theme of the night Duke would shoot just nine forty three from three. Point range at the top contested shot there. And in the end is Syracuse stunning. The faithful at Cameron indoor ninety five ninety one. The orange win it for their hall of fame. Coach Luke's great team. They don't have two of their key guys. It's just breaks of the game touch. It was just you know, they have those two guys the whole game. Not that we are. But you can you can assume that everything is always going to be great and life happens wife happened to our team tonight. This was a very difficult night for our basketball program and our team, and we'll you know, we'll figure out ways of handling it. I historic loss for Duke entering this game. They were ninety all time as the number one team against unranked opponents, not only have they won those games. They'd won by an average margin of twenty eight points. But it really does feel to me like the story line. Here is Trey Jones, and here's the deal. He's the least heralded of the big four freshman. He's certainly the least talked about. But if you really pay attention, everyone talks about him being the glue of this team. He's the guy who helped put it all together, and that's a bad injury. What does this mean for do? It's a horrible injury do blue devils, but we're not going to act like they don't have arguably the greatest coach of all time. We're not going to act like they have to at a top three or four lottery. Picks in this year's draft. We're not gonna act like they don't have a team full of all Americans right because Syracuse still went on a roll play the trademark zone may do re perimeter oriented without Cam reddish. They took away left. They took away. Don't they forced them out of their office out of your comfort zone? That's a huge loss. However, but trust when when you have. Coach gate, they'll find ways to respond. No question about it. I heard it's entire press conference after the game. He said that when I went down Jones study at broken his collarbone, and they were able to do an x-ray immediately. And it isn't that? So that's good news a broken collarbone. He'd be done for the year. Clearly, it does appear from this. I'm not a doctor and he come back and play some you're gonna come back having AC joint answer. I actually had a shot before a game in an AC joint to play. So I think what's deterrment starts to get a little bit closer and conference play continues to progress if they're going to need him. He probably could go in a pinch. But ultimately lowering the he'll he'll be healthy before the season. Yeah. The madness of marches two months away. We'll see what winds up happening there. So Duke goes down. That's our first basketball note of the night. The second comes from a guy who right now is flat out on stoppable James harden, and the rockets no Clint Capella his team into falling around like flies cappella out four to six weeks with a thumb injury..

Duke is fourteen to six trae Jones, a critical freshmen in his group. Jalen is going to go down and go down hard. That's a big time entry for the Duke blue devils. He's a lockdown defender.
