Boris Epshteyn Reacts to Eric Swalwell's Latest Comments
"Republican rhetoric has put a target on the backs of all law enforcement. And I say that with concern with two brothers who serve as police officers and walk the beat every day because if you're hearing defund the FBI and that the FBI was responsible for a false flag operation, you don't distinguish between an FBI special agent and police officer in your community. You just consider it as law enforcement and the quote unquote deep stated. And so that's why we saw the attack that we did at the FBI field office. And we're going to continue to see attacks on law enforcement. So a couple of comments and I will unleash the baron. Number one, he thinks the average American doesn't know the difference between a police officer and a federal agent. Number two, this is the man who had sex with a Chinese intelligence officer. And number three, he wants us to believe that it's the Republicans who want to defund the police. Your reaction baron. This is the alternate world that Democrats will, of course, is the president a little bit. Defund the police is what Democrats have been pushing is a radical Democrat souls back to you have done. They've ruined destroyed cities like Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Detroit. Washington D.C.. This has been a disaster under Democrat rule. Democrats have ruined safety. They've ruined American American cities and they've unleashed a crime wave. Any we've seen before. Swollen knows it. He's just lying about it because that's what he does. He's a liar.

Dan Bongino on the Infiltration by China Into the U.S.
"I don't want to alarm you. I don't want to put you into a state of despair, I still have faith in the American military. I have faith in the country, but Democrats know what an epic failure this was. There's no way they're going to defend this. They can't spin this. What they're worried about debris, hitting a cow in Montana? They're worried about pieces of the balloon falling into an isolated area that with limited population, are you kidding me? And of course, I don't know why we're surprised. We can't stop illegals from coming across our southern border. Why would we be able to stop a Chinese spy balloon from coming through our northern border? This is America. We're weak right now under Biden's leadership. And everybody knows it. Listen to Dan bongino over the weekend on Fox News. China has been playing us for chumps for decades, folks. As I opened up the segment with, they've been flipping us the double barreled middle finger for a long time now. They've been in our universities with these Confucius Institutes. They've been infiltrating our businesses, they've been stealing our IP or intellectual property overseas. They've been using government procurement methods to lock out foreigners from their own markets. They've had spy operations. They've even, I don't know if you saw the story a few weeks back. They even set up their version of their own local police force right here in the United States. They've been filtered Eric swalwell bedroom. Who even knows what happened in there? They had a spy allegedly and dianne Feinstein, U.S. senator's office. Can you find fault with anything he just said?

Rep. Zach Nunn on Recent Removals of Dems on Committees
"Appropriate for these Democrats in the House to complain about some of their members being kept off committees in particular Schiff and swalwell from the Intel committee and Omar from the foreign affairs committee. There certainly was a lot of loud speech making in the chamber that you saw this week on that latter issue. Yeah, you know, so I am perplexed why any American regardless of party wants to have someone on the very sensitive intelligence committee who has had a relationship with a Chinese spy as swalwell did for a long period of time. There's a lot of different committees and the speakers have been very clear on this. If the people from California want to keep or swallow well in office, fine. He can serve on other committees. He does not need to have access to the nation's most sensitive secrets. Look, I'm a squadron commander for an intelligence squadron. And one of the things that we have removed people's security clearances for are just the appearance that they may have been breached or approached or are compromised. So for a lot less than what Adam Schiff represents swalwell or representative Omar have done, we have removed clearances. You know, one of the things that surprised me, most Jeff was coming into Congress as somebody who's had access to above top secret classified information, I go through a battery of reviews every year, including counterintelligence, polygraphs to make sure that I am a sound source and this information can be shared with. When you get to Congress, there's none of that. You basically are handing it a classified document and said, hey, this is restricted. Most of these folks have never even seen classify, let alone know how to handle it, how to manage it, how to protect it. Maybe some of the reasons we're seeing classified ending up in presidents and former presidents, personal dwellings.

Ilhan Omar Getting Booted From the Foreign Affairs Committee
"It looks like today Ilhan Omar is going to be kicked off the House foreign affairs committee and this also means that Ilhan Omar will no longer be the top Democrat on the subcommittee on Africa. This is something that she has taken great pride in. And so this is a kind of a blow to Ilhan Omar and she's been fighting hard against it now for a several days it looked like this might not happen. In other words, it looked like Kevin McCarthy had the votes to boot swalwell to boot Adam Schiff, but not to boot Ilhan Omar for a couple of reasons. One is that there is one Republican who thought that Elon Omar was doing a pretty good job on the committee. There was another Ken buck who's been on this podcast and Ken buck, I think, was taking the principled view that, hey, listen, just because the Democrats threw Republicans off their committees doesn't mean that we, the Republicans should throw the Democrats off their committees, Ken buck, I think, was joining the, let's call it we're better than they are school of politics. We should sort of show them by example that this is the right way to do things. And then Nancy mace, she's the one I think who was opposed to removing Ilhan Omar. But Kevin McCarthy basically did what good leaders do, which is he started pulling these people into a back room and having a little bit of a talk with them. And out of the three, he convinced two to swap their vote. So Ken buck now and a Victoria spartz have agreed to vote to remove Ilhan Omar, they insisted upon a provision that she gets a chance to quote appeal her removal, which is kind of a worthless thing to do because that appeal is not going to very likely succeed. And so Ilhan Omar is going to be out of there.

Adam Schiff Complains About Kevin McCarthy, Asks for Money on TikTok

I'm going back to TikTok. He has or I'm launching on TikTok. Now, TikTok, that's ironic because they're trying to ban TikTok. The United States wants to ban TikTok because the Chinese are spying on us through TikTok. Colleges, government offices are banning TikTok, but Adam Schiff says, no, no, no, no, no. I'm gonna go to TikTok because that's where I'll complain about Kevin McCarthy. Hello, I'm congressman Adam Schiff with some troubling news. Today, Kevin McCarthy removed me from the House intelligence committee, all for doing my job for holding Trump accountable and standing up to the extreme maga Republicans. Will Hild: Why Are Companies Practicing 'Woke Capitalism?'
"Are you encountering a sort of the path of least resistance by a lot of these decision makers in these big Fortune 500 companies? That's exactly right because the problem is that even though these asset managers are managing other people's money in other words, it's pension holders. It's a university endowment. When they go and meet with corporate leaders, boards of directors, CEOs, COOs, they represent large portions of these companies shares. So they have to worry that their largest shareholder is upset about something, whether they like it or not, whether it's good for business or not, they have to play ball. And this, by the way, I know your viewers care a lot about this trend of quote unquote woke capitalism. Why is suddenly every corporation, you know, getting involved with BLM or pushing diversity equity and inclusion nonsense, or even in 2021, getting involved in fights over election legislation in states. ESG is the reason for that because they have to answer to people like Larry Fink at BlackRock and just take Exxon as a concrete example two years ago, he helped elect three radical environmentalists to the board of that company to push them out of the oil and gas industry and into unreliable unaffordable quote unquote green technologies. So if you take an example like that, all of these corporate leaders see that. And they see Larry pushing, you know, raises onto the boards of directors of these companies and they know that could be them next if they don't play ball. And Larry's been vocal about this. He spoke in an interview publicly in 2017 with The New York Times that he that he believes behaviors have to be forced to change. And BlackRock, they are forcing behaviors. And he was talking in terms of corporate governance. And literally race and sex quotas on boards of directors. So this is not this explains a lot of why we've seen these corporations going, well,

Will Hild: E.S.G. Is a Scam by Far-Left Progressives
"This. They've read about ESG. They've kind of heard about it. It's kind of in the background. What does let's get right to what ESG stands for and how and why ESG came into being? Certainly. Well, ESG stands for environmental social governance. And it's billed by its proponents as just another type of investing strategy. So something like value investing that Warren Buffett is famous for or momentum investing or technicals looking at technicals. But what it really is is a stocking horse for far left progressives to shoehorn their politics into the corporate boardroom. And so what they do is they take public dollars that are being managed by companies like BlackRock and state street and Vanguard, but BlackRock being the worst and the largest. And they use that money to force things like net zero carbon emissions targets on the companies like Exxon, for example. And this raises the costs of everything from the grocery store to the gas pump or American consumers. It is a huge burden on American consumers and it is going to reduce the shareholder returns for these pension funds. So the whole thing is a scamp, and what we really need to do is to be is to be pushing back on it because this sort of World Economic Forum type agenda that we've seen where we're all going to meet is going to be a treat and we're barely going to get to drive our cars. This is being driven by this ESG strategy.

Is Trump Being Set up by Going Back to Facebook, Twitter & Instagram?
"So what does he do? What does he do? Where does he go? Here's a text message on the MyPillow text line from Michigan, I hope Trump does join any of them. They only want him on there so they can bash him for telling the truth. Because he puts out mean tweets, so he needs to stay off of them and laugh at everybody else and stick to truth social. The argument against that, though, is that he reaches many, many, many more millions of people through Twitter and Facebook and Instagram. So where are you with this? I mean, a lot of people are pushing back against the idea of Trump going back. A text from Alaska, returning to those platforms will send the message that those platforms can abuse their discretion and get away with it. I mean, let's just look at this big picture for a minute. What changed now? After two years of being banned, what has Trump done that would warrant his return to those platforms has he apologized for anything? And you know me, I'm the Trump supporter. I'm not saying he should. I'm saying from their standpoint, what has changed? He hasn't backed off of anything he said. He doesn't back down off of his belief that the election was stolen from him. He hasn't backed down over his insistence that he did nothing wrong on January 6th. What changed? Why would Facebook, why would Instagram why would Twitter suddenly want him to return to those platforms? I smell a rat. And I can guarantee you, they're setting him up. Again,

Adam Schiff: 'Tragic Decision' by Meta to Allow Trump Back
"Check out shifty Schiff, Adam Schiff, who's whining and crying about losing his committee chairmanship, he was on with joy Reid last night on MSNBC whining about Trump coming back to Facebook. Please. Facebook's decision to reinstate Donald Trump is inexplicable. It represents, in my view, a total caving in and copping out the only mode of I can see is a profit motive here. If you look at what Donald Trump has been posting on his own social media platform, all of that violates Facebook's policies. He's continued to give aid and comfort to those who committed accident insurrection. He's continuing to spread the big lie. And the idea that somehow he would not do that on Facebook when he's doing it in his own platform to me is a tragic decision by a company that's putting its profit above the public interest.

Meta Allows Donald Trump Back on Facebook and Instagram
"Scary news, he's back, guess who's been invited back to Facebook and Instagram and Twitter. Yep, Donald Trump has been given the green light. And I'm sitting here wondering, why now? Why is meta and Twitter and all these big social media giants? Why are they all saying, oh, come on back now. Mister Trump, the water's fine. Come on back in, sir. This is, I've got friends who say this is a win. I'm not so sure. I'm not so certain. I mean, it's great for Trump. I guess he's going to have a headache with truth social because I don't know how he navigates that. This is a very interesting dilemma. President Trump, spearheaded truth social. And true social is a great place. It's a great site, lots of like minded conservatives, they have an ability on truth social to kind of, I think, squeeze out the trolls and the goofballs and the bottom feeders who wind up on there. It's not like, it's not like Twitter, where everything goes, everybody's on a lot of viciousness, a lot of contentiousness. There's something nice about truth social that it makes it a more comfortable place, at least for like minded conservatives to hang out. And president Trump has a business interest, a substantial business interest in truth social. He's not supposed to go on Twitter. That's why he hasn't tweeted yet apparently.

Kevin McCarthy Makes It Official: Schiff and Swalwell Are Out
"Idea that the likes of Adam Schiff remember the shift show, or Eric swalwell, remember fang fang, or Ilhan Omar, some bad things happened. I mean, the idea that any of these people have such incredibly important sensitive positions or hat, I should say in the past tense within our government is pretty alarming. Now, okay, I get it, they're elected officials. Nonetheless, even as elected officials one has to, and this is where the Speaker of the House comes in and why he or she, in some cases, Nancy Pelosi is so important. One has to exercise some judgment over who is given certain committee positions. You think about the house Intel committee and the kind of information that you are exposed to. Adam Schiff is such a political animal. Do not forget that. That he was right out there manipulating the public into thinking certain things were true. Russia Russia, Russia, that absolutely were not. And I think that's pretty unforgivable and speaks volumes about who he is as a person and as a politician. When you are on the house Intel committee, you need to kind of be above all that, right? Okay, we get it. You're out there in your district, pushing a certain narrative. But when it turns in such the way that the shift show did and become so overtly political, that's when it becomes, I'll use this word dangerous. And so Adam Schiff does not deserve a position on the intelligence committee because of that. The other person that doesn't deserve a position on the intelligence committee and this one should be pretty obvious. I mean, when our own intelligence is investigating a relationship, a lawmaker had with someone that was believed to be a Chinese spy, I'm talking fang fang, I mean that is, to me, total disqualifier. I mean, I'd get the guy right out of the house. And he ought to have been voted right out of his position, but it's pretty darn obvious that he can not be on the intelligence committee, because he doesn't have, shall we say enough intelligence himself to beware of the threats all around him, like

Kevin McCarthy Kicks Schiff and Swalwell Off Their Committees

I never slept with a Chinese intelligence officer. He can't say that. It's so strange he's been kicked off to you heard. What Kevin said about Devin Nunes, the former chairman, while he's with us right now, in studio, what a fabulous fabulous guest to have. Chairman Nunes Devin explained to us how egregious, can you put meat on the bone of what Kevin just said about shifts chairmanship? Well, look, if you go back, I mean, all this time that he's been there starting in 17, he knew I was out there publicly saying that, look, there's no evidence of Trump and Russia. There's none. And he would say things continually like, oh, they're just covering for Trump. You haven't seen what I've seen. I've seen the evidence. I can't talk about it. But I've seen that more than circumstantial evidence, he said at one time. He had so many variations of all of this evidence that he had supposedly seen, and then we would go out and say, no, that's a lie. And you know, at that time, you know, we had everybody against us. I mean, even a lot of the so called conservative outlets were even kind of attacking us, right? At that time, and the reality was, is that I always said this, and it's still baffles me. Charlie Assesses Kevin McCarthy's Latest Actions as Speaker
"This constant controversy about whether or not Eric swalwell, who almost assuredly slept with a Chinese spy and Adam Schiff, who was just a pathological liar, should be on the house Intel committee. Now Kevin McCarthy, who many of you in this audience, you were rather brutal and dare I say it cruel towards Kevin McCarthy, made a promise when he wanted to become Speaker of the House that he was not going to put swalwell or shift on the committees. And he's making good on that promise, and the Democrats are losing their mind. The Speaker of the House has the ability to block certain members of Congress from going on committees. Kevin McCarthy is using that power and he is basically sending a memo and a message to the Democrats. You guys keep on screening us the way you did with the January 6th committee. You try to block some of our members from committees. We're not going to play ball with that. We're not going to allow Elon Omar and swalwell and Schiff to be able to sit on these Intel committees that require not just access to you have access to confidential information, but they leak it regularly. They abuse it, and by the way, Omar was foreign affairs just to be clear. Who's to say that Eric swalwell, who slept with the Chinese spy, would not continue to misuse or abuse classified or confidential information. Isn't that the whole saga right now is around the mishandling of classified information? Let's go to cut 57, McCarthy speaks about his decision to keep Adam Schiff from sitting on the intelligence committee, play cut 57. Kevin McCarthy Tussles With Reporter Over Intel Committee Removals
"What did Adam Schiff do at the chairman of the Intel committee? What Adam Schiff did, use his power as a chairman and lie to the American public, even the inspector general said it. When Devin Nunes put out a memo, he said it was false. When we had a laptop, he used it before an election to be politics and say that it was false and said it was the Russians. When he knew different, when he knew the Intel, if you talked to John Radcliffe, DNI, he came out ahead of time and says there's no Intel to prove that. And he used his position as chairman, knowing he has information, the rest of America does not, and lied to the American public. When a whistleblower came forward, he said he did not know the individual, even though his staff had met with him and set it up. So no, he does not have a right to sit on that. But I will not be like Democrats and play politics with these, where they removed Republicans from committees and all committees. So yes, he can serve on a committee, but he will not serve on Intel, because it goes to the national security of America. And I will always put them first, all right? And if you want to talk about swalwell, let's talk about swalwell, because you have not had the briefing that I had. I had the briefing of Nancy Pelosi had the briefing from the FBI. The FBI never came before this Congress to tell the leadership of this Congress that Eric swalwell had a problem with the Chinese spy until he served on Intel. So it wasn't just us who were concerned about. The FBI was concerned about putting a member of Congress on the Intel committee that has the rights to see things that others don't, because of his knowledge and relationship with the Chinese spy. America Just Had Its Worst Aviation Disruption Since 9/11
"We have a lot of news to get to, but let's dive right into it. I want to play cut 52, the FAA, the federal aviation administration, is having a tough day for millions of people that are trying to travel across the country. They have been grounded. Flights have been suspended. Now, there are some flights being resumed thankfully, but there are still over 10,000 flight delays across the country. Let's play cut 52. The FAA tweeting, it is quote experiencing an outage with its notice to air missions system which provides critical flight safety operation information. We are closely monitoring the situation, which impacts all airlines and working with the FAA, to minimize disruption to our operation and customers. We encourage customers to check AA dot com for the latest flight information. Now, the question that many people have is what is causing this? Is it some sort of a cyberattack? Is it a hack? It could be the government is saying it's not, but it could be the Chinese Communist Party retaliating against the House Republicans that have just set up a subcommittee that is expressly anti CCP. And by the way, I don't know if the House Republicans are going to be able to keep up this pace, but they are posting win after win after win. Could be that they're just getting all the conservative stuff out of the way first, or it could be that a new boss is in Washington, D.C. in the House of Representatives, because the amount of wins that we have seen in the last 24 hours makes anything that Paul Ryan and John Boehner did seem like almost nothing from committees to kicking people off committees. Elon the ingrate Eric swalwell, the fang fang lover and many others. We're going to get into that. But it could be the Chinese Communist Party is retaliating via a cyberattack against the FAA notams system because of that committee. That is probably unlikely though.

The Art of Retaliation
"I want to talk about an important principle in politics and it is the art of retaliation, the art of retaliation. Now, this principle came to my mind when Kevin McCarthy said recently, I, Kevin McCarthy, I'm going to remove Eric swalwell, Adam Schiff, and Ilhan Omar from their House committees. Now, we should note that this is a kind of an unprecedented, well, actually, no, it is a precedented step. But it is an unusual step because the general modus operandi, the way of doing business in the Congress is this. The majority party controls the committees. They appoint the chairman of the committees and the committees, by the way, are the mechanism through which legislation passes. Committee is a very important a judiciary committee, the ways and means committee and so on. And the majority party has the majority of members on the committee, but the minority party, in this case, the Democrats in the House would have the right to appoint their own members. But the Democrats decided last time around, to violate this kind of code of etiquette, if you will, and throw a prominent Republicans, notably Marjorie Taylor Greene, offer committee. Oh, she's an extremist. So extremist or not, the point is she's not being named by your side. She was being named by the Republican side. And the fact that the Democrats said, well, we have the power to do it, so we're gonna do it. It was very important and it is very important for Republicans to be like, well, you know what? Two can play at this game.

Listen, can we tell you that calling you an alpha liberal is the highest compliment because on TV on Twitter, you show Democrats how to fight. How to take it to these Republicans. You tweeted that. You said worse the land of misfit treasonous toys could get more populated of some of these mega Republican candidates win. Right, and you just went through the whole bunch of them that have threatened violence in their campaign ads, right? And I just sat through a hearing with the assistant attorney general where the Republicans are protesting that the Department of Justice is looking at people that threaten violence at school board meetings. And they can not draw the distinction between someone who would show up peacefully and passionately to talk about their kids curriculum. And the over 220 cases that Reuters has recently identified of incidents where school board members are being threatened and look, this is a lot who now is more comfortable with violence than voting. They'd rather see chaos than community. And we can't call them out enough because look only one vision for America is going to come out of this midterm. Either it's a vision of community or it's a vision of chaos. And we know they have chosen chaos and we have got to be loud. We've got to organize and mobilize and we can win. It's a narrow path. And we let them define us as a defund the police open border Socialist Party and one that is not who we are at all. That doesn't reflect Joe Biden's belief. It doesn't reflect the majority that Nancy Pelosi leads in the house. And it doesn't reflect truck streamers thin majority in the Senate. But we are often on our heels. And so I think we have to play on their side of the field and put them on their heels because they have proven not just by fringe people in their party that they're outside the mainstream, but by the votes that they've taken that the majority of them voted against same sex marriage. The overwhelming majority of them voted for force pregnancies for women. Majority of them voted against contraception. So that's who they are. And so we have them on the record. This isn't, you know, Marjorie Taylor Greene said something and we're projecting it on all of them. These are votes that they've cast that put them outside the mainstream of the freedom that we all want for ourselves, our family and our community. And yeah, let's keep them on their side of the field at ours. Yep.

So it turns out that the guy who held everybody hostage at the synagogue in Texas, he's a member of a terrorist group. I know you're shocked to hear this. So anybody want to explain how a guy who's a member of a terrorist group, a convicted criminal was able to get into the United States of America. Flight attend Texas get himself a gun and hold hostages at the synagogue. I'm waiting for congressman swalwell's apology because he said, how dare I criticize our border policies? Anybody want to explain? Anybody want to share with us how the Muslim, who is a member of a terrorist group, was allowed into America. To target Jews. She's a low America woman right back. Oh, my word. Life from the Liberty University studio in Memphis, Tennessee. It's America's favorite gun toten Bible clinging to Florida American. That's right I love this American right God starring. That was kind of like, that was like the big deal. Gotcha. But anyway, I was, I've been to Perkins too, but I go down there and it really is the only early bird special. "Big show good to have you with us today. A lot going on. And by the way, those of you who follow me on Twitter, even though we've been suspended because of Eric swalwell, we want to invite you to check us out on getter at Todd starring there. We're also still on the Facebook and all the other platforms, but not YouTube. YouTube LinkedIn and our Twitter suspending us because of our political beliefs. So, look, there is a very concerning story coming out of Washington, D.C., and it will require your action, and it will make sure to have the telephone numbers to Capitol Hill in the live show blog. You'll be able to have easy access to those, but you need to be calling your elected representatives and senators and we're going to explain why it involves a rather mundane bill concerning NASA. But tucked inside of this NASA property Bill is the our elements of the freedom to vote John R Lewis act. And the act includes provisions like turning election day into a federal holiday. It's basically nationalizing our elections. And all of this is stuffed into the NASA property Bill. I want to go to the patriot mobile newsmaker line. Our good friend, the chairman of the House freedom caucus, congressman Scott Perry on the line with us. Congressman, good to have you with us today. Todd, great to be with you today. And thanks for alerting your audience to this bill. I would love to see you characterize it as the freedom to cheat act because that's exactly what it is. It's allowing, look, if Puerto Rico, if the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the island territory, United States island territory of Puerto Rico can demand that their citizens show up with a laminated photo identification to vote. I get the feeling that the rest of the United States of America can do that too. And I just got to tell you the list of grievances or egregious actions in this bill is longer than you can it's longer than your arm. And we got to make sure that everybody's aware that this is not a bill that has anything to do with NASA. This bill, the NASA portion of it got slipped through some time ago and they've revived it just to send a vehicle to the Senate with every intention of gutting every bit of the NASA language out of it. And putting it in putting in elections stealing election information in it. So if you believe that one person should have one vote, then you need to make sure that you're representative rejects this bill. This is absolutely insane and it ought to be criminal what they're doing. But again, this was supposed to be about NASA and leases and property, but what they've done is they've secretly inserted all of this all of this language about elections and voting. Yeah, that's absolutely right. So people won't realize when they say, oh, by represented voted for policy for NASA. That makes sense. We want to be making sure that we're countering the Chinese and space and keeping up and so on and so forth. Unwittingly, they're representative has allowed for massive legalized cheating in their electoral process. And we absolutely have to reject this the house can not sit on a sand here and be held harmless. And the people that voted for it need to be taken the task. They are furthering the allowance.

"Now, a lot of people would say, okay, what's the big deal? You got Eric swalwell out there, you got the Salt Lake City tribune, big deal. No, no, no, no, no. Folks you need to understand what's going on here. The Democrats are marching us down the path to full blown totalitarianism. Now, I'm working on this chapter in the book and there are some warning signs that we should be paying attention to. And these are all part of a totalitarian society. The state control of society. The censorship of unpopular opinions, mainstream media outlets spreading propaganda. And literal state control of individuals. These are just three or four of the 7 warning signs that your country is heading towards totalitarianism. These things are happening right now in America ladies and gentlemen. And it sounds to me like the Salt Lake City tribune's editorial board was actually writing their op-ed using the guiding principles of totalitarianism. And I have no doubt that Joseph Stalin would have been bursting with pride over what the folks on Salt Lake City are doing. All right, we've got to take a break here, 8 four four 747 88 68 toll free telephone number, 8 four four 747 88 68 will be right back. It's radio free America. Todd starnes. "All right, welcome back to the times stars radio show. You know, here's what we're gonna do. Again, I'm a nice guy. Eric swalwell would have you think I'm running around burning crosses and wearing white bedsheets. But that's not my style. That's not what we do here. So here's the deal, Eric swalwell, a Democrat from California, I want to personally invite you to come on to the radio program and explain yourself. Let's have a debate. Let's have a conversation. Grace baker is standing by and congressman swalwell as she will be more than happy to take your call and if we're in the middle of something, we'll interrupt it and we will put you right on the program. We know we know he's listening. We know that. Of course he is. So we're going to bring him on the program. First thing I'll put him at the top of the line. Now we're not going to invite we're not going to invite the, what do you call her? What? Well, it's fang fang, but is she a paramour? Is she the sidewalk sound? His lady friend. Lady friend will be polite. So the lady friend can't come on the program. We don't allow Chinese spies on our show. We love America. America first. But we'll invite him on, not in studio. We have to, do we have some wet wipes? I mean, I can find some. You don't know where he's been. I've got pet wipes for Merlot. That'll work. That'll work. So come on, congressman. It's one thing. It's one thing to throw a little Twitter bombs. It's another thing to come on like a man and have a conversation. Idiot. 8 four four 747 88 68. That's our telephone number. 8 four four 747 88 68. So look, we're gonna get to president Trump's address over the weekend. Massive crowd, and I just want to say great job newsmax, they covered that thing wall to wall and did a terrific job. My good friend, former Fox colleague Heather shoulders anchoring the coverage and she is just a superstar, but I thought they did a terrific job, get this. CNN, MSD and C Fox News, they boycotted Trump's Trump's remarks, the whole speech. They boycotted the Trump speech. So again, I mean, if you're looking for, you know, to get uncensored news, you're going to have to check out newsmax. So it was great. And I'll get to the gist of the president's remarks a little bit later, but I have a question for you to contemplate here. I was I was reading a piece by Molly Hemingway. Over the over the weekend. And it's her assertion that most Republican voters are not over the 2020 presidential election yet. So most an overwhelming majority of Republican voters still want the issue of voter fraud to be addressed. You've got the you've got folks at Fox News that say it's time to move on, you've got Republican leadership and they say it's time to move on. But the overwhelming majority of Republicans say it is not time to move on, we've got to address this. And I'm curious to know your thoughts on that. Do you believe that we still need to address this or is it time to move on and face forward face the future? 8 four four 747 88 68. That's our number. That's 8 four four 747 88 68. But when I say you need to sign up for our newsletter because it's the only way to make sure you get access to our content honest to goodness folks I mean that. And you know what we could charge? We could charge that. A lot of conservative talk show host are charging for their products. We get that. You want to sign up for their premium service? Okay, you've got to pay, you know, 20, 30, 40, $50 a year. But we don't believe in that. And I don't mean anything. Look, it's capitalism. And if they want to charge that, that's great. But that's not who we are. We've got sponsors that cover those bills. That's we want you to go and sign up so you will not face the censorship. It's only going to get worse as we get closer to the midterm elections. I mean, that's just the reality of it. They're going to be trying to shut all of us, and they'll be very successful for many other conservatives who have literally built their entire platform on social media. I feel bad for those folks because they built their house on sinking sand. But not us, we have spent years working on our website. "We got lucky on Saturday, folks. We got very lucky. And thank goodness that those four individuals, including the rabbi of the congregation at their were able to be released without being harmed. But we got lucky. And if that moron can come into the country, if that muscle moron can come into our country, even though he's got a criminal record, even though he had no business, by the way, how did he get his gun? That is a valid question. He'd only been there for two weeks. I don't know. Those questions need to be addressed. But big tech wants to censor all of us. And you know that we were censored last week. We were pulled off of YouTube. We have been permanently banned from LinkedIn. And if you read our stuff, let folks. There is outright pornography on Twitter right now. That is permissible. But being being opposed to the mandate, being opposed to Islamic terrorism will get you banned. Some of the stuff you will see on Twitter it's unbelievable. But that is permissible. Outright pornography is permissible on Twitter, but they will not allow conservatives to offer up an opinion on some of the biggest issues of the day. Does that make any sense to you? So look, here's where we're going with all of this. And it has, it has been a long process and I know that president, you know, we've got getter out there, which is great. You've got parler and gab, you've got telegram, you've got whatever president Trump is doing. Can I just say folks? I love our president. I love all these new platforms, but I don't know about you. I've almost to the point where I've been oversaturated with social media. Grace, I'm curious. I mean, this is your generation. You've got then you've got the TikTok and Instagram and SnapChat. I mean, at what point do you say, oh my God, enough is enough. It's so annoying. If I wasn't in the field of journalism, I would I would probably just have Instagram and that's it, nothing else. So here's where I'm going with all of this grace is that we need and by the way, did you see anything that was that qualified as a hate crime in my tweet? No, especially considering just the stuff I see on Twitter every day. Exactly. It's just ludicrous. But I think it's hilarious, but swalwell, you know, he goes after he goes after the people that are hitting the key points. Yeah, he he's one to talk. That's all I gotta say. So here's where we're going with all of this grace. We have got to move everything to our website. Todd starnes dot com. I mean, that is our landing page. That's where we operate. That's where all of our videos are. That's where all of our content exists and I appreciate all these other platforms letting us share those stories. But we really just want to start encouraging people to migrate to our website, which is a, I guess, a safe space for free speech. If there's such a thing. I mean, we let everybody no matter what have they say. But we're also in the process of putting together and creating a message board that will allow people to go on and just talk about the issues of the day without being having all this censorship. One.

"In a minute. So I wrote something on Twitter, explaining in a very, very simple phrase, and it was it was not it was not attacking anybody. It was just stating an obvious fact. Because we didn't know how this guy got into the country. And as I wrote on Twitter, that I said it is important for us to remember that nobody got vetted coming over from Afghanistan. Hashtag synagogue, hashtag cauliflower. Well, congressman Eric swalwell, the man who is the man who was accused of banging fang fang. The Chinese spy. The man who sits on the intelligence committee, the Democrat from California took great umbrage at what I said. Great umbrage. And he attacked me, and he called on Twitter to immediately have me removed from their platform. And this is how the sleazy Democrats behave. You know, the guy's not man enough to address whatever issue he had with me personally. Now he's got to go on, he's got to go public on Twitter. And look, that's fine. That's his right whatever. The guy's a sleaze ball. Cheating on his wife allegedly, with the Chinese spy slash whore. That's just really sickening. But enough about Eric swalwell for right now. So swalwell says he accused me of hate speech. He says he says what I said on a Twitter and grace it's on my getter page and I don't have my computer in front of me, but maybe we can read exactly what we can read the exact comment of what he said. But swalwell is said that I needed to be removed because I was guilty of hate speech. And he took it a step further. Here we go. He took it a step further. And he said that I was targeting people from Afghanistan. I here we go, I found it. Pardon me, ladies and gentlemen. How can Twitter allow this hate speech? This verified guy is falsely blaming Afghans for the Khalil synagogue standoff. The suspect was not Afghan. This false tweet will put targets on my Afghan constituents backs. And here's what I wrote. Remember when Biden failed to vet any of the Afghan refugees hashtags and a guy hashtag cauliflower. And again, the point being that we're letting all sorts of people into this country without vetting them. And that is a big problem. Nobody wants to admit that, but it's a big problem. And now we find out that there's no way this guy should have been allowed into our country in the first place. And now he's dead. And I say justice was served. Well done, Texas law enforcement. So anyway, a few minutes after Eric swalwell, the Democrat who likes to cavort with Chinese spies, just a few minutes after that, I get a message from from Twitter saying that I've been suspended for breaking their rules regarding hate speech. And there you go. And so we are still suspended. As of this very moment. So there you go. Now, look, I'm not surprised by this, and I could really honestly care less about this, but this, this, there is a free speech issue going on here, and we do need to have that conversation. There's no way no way that what I wrote can be construed as hate speech against Muslims. By the way, he talks about having a target on his constituents back. You notice what he doesn't say. And I went back through and checked out his Twitter account. Swalwell, not once does he come to the defense of his Jewish constituents and there is a great big target on airbags. A great big target. And speaking of on their backs, maybe it's a good opportunity for us to go back and revisit the allegations surrounding Eric swalwell and the Chinese spy. If you want to talk about behavior on your back. Congressman. And no, I'm not making that. Look, Business Insider. Eric swalwell refused to say if he had sex with a suspected Chinese spy who slept with two mayors for an intelligence campaign. As a matter of fact, Fox News host Tucker Carlson says that U.S. intelligence officials believe swalwell and fang fang had a sexual relationship and that swalwell's office declined to comment on the matter. So no, we're not making this up. This is the actual reporting out there about Eric swalwell. But swalwell is too concerned to focus on trying to silence conservatives. Silence people who are raising valid issues. About the security of our nation. Conservatives who are out there raising issues about the sovereignty of the United States of America..

"Guess michael. I know that's part of my frustration. Coming out no one. I said that. But i know what i did and did not do and i know that i did not leak and i looked at the fact that adam schiff and i were the only two members involved in this that a minor child of a staffer was involved in this. And you have to attorney. General's saying that they did not know about it far and sessions and so to me if you are surveilling members of congress who are critics of the president and the attorney. General is is not being briefed on it at one. That should be fireable a to. I don't really buy that. They weren't briefed on it. And so it makes me wonder. Why didn't anybody say look. This is this is wrong. This is not what we do and again i. I'm saying this from the perspective of somebody. Who knows i was innocent. I didn't do anything wrong. I i can't see any probable cause to go into my records and so if you are going into my records i think you're doing it unlawfully. And when you're doing that against the vocal critic of the president. I think there should be consequences. Congressman two quick follow ups on this one. You said that attorney general merrick garland called you about this said he. He didn't know about it. What else did he say did he. Express dismay was e surprised concerned. What did he tell you. It was very kind. He he called it actually apologize that he had not called me. You know a day or two earlier. He'd just been so overwhelmed. Landing on the job but he told me he did not know about this case until it broke in the news and that he was seeking to learn more about it and again i. I was very clear with them. I did not want to direct him in any way as to what to do or what i thought he should do. Because that would be just as wrong. I just wanted to make sure that he understood the concerns that someone who has criticized the president would have if their records are being when again. They know that there was no reason for that to happen. You told them that you hope that there would be a inspector general investigation as it turns out the inspector general. The justice department's independent watchdog. Michael horowitz announced that he is reviewing this episode. They reached out to you. Have you been questioned in this probe at all yet. Do you know anything about what they're specifically what they're looking at We'll tell us about the. I g investigation. No they have not again. I just want to make it clear that. I don't know why my records or mr shifts records were probed as somebody who knows that they did not leak. It's highly suspicious. But i'm willing to at least wait to see what. The investigation concludes But to me it. It is worthy of investigating considering. How boko mr schiff and i were of the prior administration and the prior attorneys-general but just to be clear. Is it your position that there are no circumstances under which of the justice department should subpoena the email and phone records of members of congress. Just the opposite i. I don't think i'm above the law more than anyone else is above the lot. My position is knowing that. I did not leak. I'm very curious as to how they would justify going in to my records. So that's what concerns me and again. I think you have to be extra careful when you're going into the records of lawmakers who've been critical of the president that doesn't make you immune but that certainly i think means that the attorney general you know should consider the damage you can do to institutions critics. Feel like the punishment for speaking out is that you're gonna have your records gone because i would want. I assume you would want the the car justice department to subpoena if they have grounds the records of republican members of congress who might have had interactions with some of the organizers participates in participants in january six if they have probable cost yes but not just because their opponents of the press and again. I'm saying this from the perspective of someone who knows. I did not leak so it makes it very much concerns me that my records were looked at When there's not a more likely than not scenario where i would have leaked. So i wanna take us back if i can't the first impeachment now so one of the criticisms especially that was raised by the republicans during that first impeachment was that it was baked in advance. Basically that the democrats had intended to impeach donald trump. From the minute. He was sworn into office that you were laying in wait for any sort of minor error that he might commit. That could justify impeachment thinking about that criticism. I'm wondering if the republicans take congress back in two thousand twenty two. Do you anticipate that. They will impeach joe biden. No we impeach. I can't predict what they will do. But i know that speaker pelosi laid this out in. The book was very careful to make sure that we had consensus. Among the congress. There was a call for impeachment. The second donald trump was elected from some of my colleagues in speaker. Pelosi was very careful to make sure that we only would do so if we had evidence reason to do so. Do you think that the current leadership of the republican party has that same sense of restraint that nancy pelosi did as you say in two thousand seventeen and no. I don't think kevin mccarthy has any core set of principles or integrity. That would restrain him. But i was in. I put it on the book. I was one of the i was a presidential candidate. As much of this conduct was coming out. And i was one of the last presidential candidates to call or donald trump's impeachment because again as a former prosecutor i wanted to apply the rigors of evidentiary law to this case to make sure that we actually did have the goods. If we're gonna move forward and the impeachment of donald trump won foreshadowed. What was going to come. Which was in impeachment. One he was trying to rig the election before it happened by putting dirt on his opponent and impeachment to he wasn't willing to accept the outcome of the election and was used willing to use violence instead of you know bribery to determine the outcome it and so I don't regret at all that. We impeach him if anything. I regret that we didn't do more oversight of donald trump and others. I regret that. We didn't teach bill bar and i was calling for that if you recall throughout the bar days that We should we should impeach bar before we impeach trump for what he had done with the muller report and the lies that he told the congress around the report. But don't you think given the the fervor of the republican base arguing for you know Focusing for example on on one hundred biden's business dealings and whether or not joe biden knew about them the fact that the many republicans have already filed articles of impeachment against joe biden. And what you say is kind of a lack of restraint on the part of kevin mccarthy. Don't you believe that. There's a significant chance in twenty twenty three if the republicans take over control of the house that they will begin legitimately impeachment proceedings against joe biden. Oh yes there's there's serious chance based on the dialogue and statements..

Mark and there was silence on the other end. So i don't know if it was a missile or trying to see who i was But then we got word from his lawyer. After i had reached out a number of times that he would not honor a subpoena. He would fight us in the courts and it just felt like that was going to define any witness. Oh no reason to expect. He's going to do anything differ committee comes from. But let me ask you something else as you know. The merrick garland justice department. Recently filed in court saying it was going to represent donald trump in a defamation lawsuit brought by jean carole a woman who says donald trump raped her many years ago and then defamed her when she went public with that. There's been a lot of speculation that the same logic will hold to your lawsuit that the garland justice department will basically intervene to block your lawsuit against the former president saying he was acting as a chief executive of the united states and is therefore immune from civil suit. How concerned are you that the garland justice department is going to be your nemesis in this lawsuit. And what do you make of them representing trump in the defamation case brought by jean cow. I think it's wrong. In the carroll case and if they were to represent donald trump or mo brooks or anyone else in my case i think they might as well just say that we would represent any president in any case that they're soon whether it's a homicide case or whether it's the argument would be that. The president was acting as part of his official duties as pressure. And the i understand the argument. Michael guy i submit that when you hold a rally or your presidential campaign and you say you have to fight like hell and you don't have a country anymore and you tell the mob that you're going to go with them. The bob goes. You are so far outside the boundaries of your official duties. As i said this was done completely on the campaign. He was sending. You know the emails that invited the mob on the campaign side. So i think this is well outside the bounds of being president in eugene carroll case again just because he was at an official press conference he was being asked about his personal private pre-presidential presidential conduct. He can just decline to answer the question. And say i'll talk to you about that. It's not appropriate here but instead he smeared a sexual assault victim. I think once he does that you know key. His personal private conduct of predominates any privileges that he should have as president so i. I hope the department doesn't do that. There has to be boundaries. For what's an official and what's not protected. Type ask you something else. About the justice department you were as amply reported Recently informed that the justice department under bill barr had gotten your phone phone records and e mail records as part of a leak investigation. You're quite outraged about that. But there's very little we know at this point about what was going on inside the justice department. What these leak investigations were who approve them. Where they targeting you or were they targeting others and then you're communications got swept up in the targeting of others. I know you've asked for information from the garland justice department about this. What do you now understand the answers to those questions. What were the leak investigations. Who approve them. And who was being targeted michael. You remember this era because you were a dog reporter trying to get to the bottom of what was going on with russia. I wanted affirmatively. Say i did not have not incense will not leak classified information as so. I never did that. i understand. It's reporter's job to get to the bottom of the. But i did not do that In what concerns me. Is that the two people whose communications were sought and received or myself. And mr schiff. I think were the most vocal critics of the president at the time. Which is why it's important. That attorney general garland has an inspector general investigation and that the judiciary committee also conduct no supplemental investigation. The attorney general assured me. He called me a told me it was the first i had heard of it in the he was going to get to the bottom of it himself so i don't have many answers right now but it's hard for me to accept any other reporting that i've seen out there that we would just collaterally a part of a leak investigation. That involved a staffer win again. The two people whose records were obtained as far as we know where the most vocal critics that just to me. But you don't know what they were invest. No i don't write you called on just one question in this after this came out. You said anybody involved in this at the justice department should be fired now. You know how these things work there were career prosecutors who filed these subpoenas went into court to defend them argued that they should be kept under a gag order. They may have been operating under strict instructions from bill bar and do really want to do it but they were forced to do it or they may have thought they were legitimately doing an investigation under justice department guidelines to pursue a leak. Was it really appropriate to say absent. You having answers to any of these questions. That career people civil servants at the justice department should be fired. When you don't even really know who is involved in. What exactly they.

"But how do we make sure it does not happen again in. Also it was frustrating. Michael during the impeachment trial we had the pressure coming down on us of a senate that understandably had to confirm joe biden's cabinet and his appointees and so there were constraints on us in that regard. There was the recognition that if donald trump in others refuse to testify at the senate trial we would spend years in court. Litigating those subpoenas in. I'm liberated from that in my lawsuit. I don't have those time constraints and time pressure and really in my pursuit of accountability. I'm not limited by that to get the truth by the way. What is the judgment that you're asking for here. I mean are you asking for like a sort of a one dollar judgement. Just symbolically make the point that this is about accountability. Or are you asking for some other kind of remedy. But we're not that state yet. Certainly we alleged the different torts of intentional infliction of emotional distress as well as impeding me from doing my duty and certainly that is one of the prayers for relief as they call them. There could be an injunction. There could be a financial penalty. It's certainly for me is mostly about accountability. And i'll let our loyal our legal team and the judges sort out where that ends up but right now it's really primarily about accountability and if you're tracking where are we right now. Each side is responding to the other side's filings around the motion to dismiss and that seems to be one of the biggest hurdles that we have to clear is to survive. They're motion to dismiss. And then you would go into the discovery process which is essentially you know us seeking evidence in the case seeking depositions from the parties to understand their complete ole. Let me just follow up. Because he's you said something interesting and it's also mentioned in your in your book. Which is the the incredible difficulty that congress has an institution has in getting discovery and in getting information. And your book. You mentioned an incident where a news organization filing a foia request got better access to data than congress. Did you just mentioned in your lawsuit. You're doing it because as as an individual congressperson just as an individual suing you have a better chance of discovery than congress does. I mean it really points out that congress's almost you know enfeebled as an independent investigative organization or entity nowadays is there. Is that a first of all. Do you concur with that kind of assessment of congress's role and is congress doing anything to change. That state reforms are needed. An atom shifts protect our democracy. Act that would essentially create a fast track. Four congressional subpoenas so you cannot don mcgann congress where you know in the spring of two thousand nineteen. The miller report comes out. Judiciary committee seized on mcgann as the central figure. Call him in to testify and it was just about a month ago that we actually were able to get him when all the way up to the supreme court before we were able to negotiate with the department of justice around his testimony. And and that's just wrong that you know when you have abuses of power that are alleged and people are able to just run out the clock. That congress isn't able to conduct its oversight authority that so yes that reform i think is needed also. No i did not file my lawsuit. Because i couldn't get we couldn't get information in the senate under saying because i'm seeking accountability. A benefit collateral benefit of. That is that i believe we will have better than congress did. In seeking discovery. Victoria was asking the kind of process question. About how you get the information but tell us about the information the evidence that you are seeking both in your own lawsuit and having been deeply involved in the impeachment investigation and then having been one of the managers in the senate trial. What is the key evidence. The key information that you're seeking that the american people still need to know about january sixth so sparingly there are a lot of gaps around what was donald trump doing the day of the attack it was. We saw the footage of the insurrection. Tailgate where they're all in the tent watching the footage of the mob moving from the ellipse up to the capital. But you know what was. Donald trump being told by national security and law enforcement officials. What decision points was he. Making regarding sending a what was he told in of course in the days before you know as these questions about should the national guard be dispatched foot limitation. Should they have had and then of course in the weeks before because we know for many many weeks. The trump campaign spent fifty million dollars on. Stop the steel. you know email and digital ads. How much direction was given by donald trump. Because he sent that to am tweets in mid december saying january. Six will be wild. And then there was just this barrage of tweets afterward. So what foreknowledge. Did he have about. Who was going to be there in. Why did he believe it was going to be so wild so we might think that you know that the january six committee that was just created would be a key player in figuring these sort of things out. But at as you've just noted congress's pretty toothless in terms of its ability to pursue subpoenas to be mcgann and if the shift and so. How much can we really expect. This january six committee to be able to uncover given how how handcuffed congresses. At getting information. I will say that they will be a little less tam cuff because now they will be subpoenaing. People who are no longer in office and so some of the protections they had don't exist any further but that doesn't mean they won't let a gate them and it will still take time. Because no i don't think anyone expects donald trump is just gonna walk in on his own accord. I don't think anyone expects that. I pointed out mark short in the book. You know we had a good lead. That marked short wanted to talk. He was mike pence at the capitol that day in sources. Were telling me and others that if you can get short end once you can call witnesses. He would be a good witness to give penn state of mind. Donald.

"Wanna get that once again go to hellofresh dot com slash oei twelve and use the code. Oh eight twelve for twelve. Free meals including free shipping hellofresh. America's number one meal kit so let's assume to take take all of them. We're gonna talk about like math in a minute but this person could still wind up a long-term loser and it would not take that long for that to happen right Monthly insurance share fees five hundred thirty dollars. That is six thousand dollars a year again. Run a calculator to see at which point six thousand dollars. A year would produce one hundred thousand dollars in wealth that doesn't take agai- takes a decade. But if you stick around and pay another decades worth the premiums and never dry any more benefits than you still. You may still wind up behind. I would say this might be your weakest argument andrew because the whole business of health insurance by definition would have to be this way otherwise it wouldn't be a business on average anyone contributing on average has to be contributing more than they're getting paid out otherwise it wouldn't be a bazillion dollar business. It just has to be so. I think it's more a matter of degree than merely the simple fact that like all right end up losing out in the long term so i agree with that and there's a similar objection that catherine actually made that i that i want to get to dinner. I want to compare it to investing the premiums. Only that you understand the the dollar value of the contributions coming in and going out because the spirit that animated this response and a half dozen like this that we got was you say it's a scam but quote. I'm ahead financially right yet. And so how do we figure out if you're ahead financial right and like the fact that they're massive problems with our healthcare industry at like you know you're a listener. You already know where we are on that right like that. What i'm trying to respond to is the argument of. Hey i did. This and i came out ahead. And the two responses are one individuals coming out ahead are like individuals beating the dealer and number two. Let's carefully calibrate what you're thinking of in terms of coming out ahead. So for example. We add another relatively unambiguous winner. Was that one. Random canon lawyer guy on the facebook group. That's how he wanted to be identified. Who was in for two years. His wife had two pregnancies. They paid five hundred dollars a month in fake premiums and they cashed out with twenty thousand dollars and benefit. Okay look if you can you get in for. Get some children. Then yeah you you might show up as a winner in this. But i contrast that with another face bookstore where the person was absolutely certain they had come out ahead and again. Remember it like look. This is a bad thing. The cost of an the average cost of an uncovered pregnancy is between five and ten thousand dollars right the medical expenses associated with an uncovered pregnancy. And that is an un discounted number remember. We talked about an episode for ninety seven. It is a condition of the healthcare sharing ministry. That you have to beg down your bill or they will begged down for you if they're in network right so i want describes him again. Don't take legal advice for a podcast. I'm not saying this. Good that the underlying social conditions of this way if you're uninsured and you get a seven thousand dollar pregnancy bill without an h. Csm you can probably beg that down. Get them to write off a portion of and get on a payment plan with the hospital. I will tell you. My wife did that at a time. Prior to when we were not buried and she was uninsured and she had a big hospital. Bill went to the emergency room and paid off in twenty five dollars a month installments while i was in law school until we got to the point where the hospital wrote off the balance of the bill So this is a thing that people do end. it is key. It is a cornerstone part of the h. Csm business right negotiate down the bill again. I i don't really see the problem there. But what i'm saying is if you are comparing the benefit to say seven thousand dollar pregnancy. I had a five hundred dollar deductible. So i got sixty five hundred dollars worth of benefits you did you probably got more like twenty five hundred dollars worth of benefits because you would have had to have done the same begging to bring the bill down without the hcf okay and that reduces the overall sort of value so you know we. We had a person right in and say yeah this is. I'm i'm doing great You know my premiums are a month. So that's that's ten thousand dollars a year and his wife had two pregnancies. There's a different person from dot. Louis came random canon lawyer got a third person and he defined his wife as having taken thirteen thousand dollars in benefits to seven thousand dollar pregnancies for five hundred dollars each. Well you take him at his word. If he's been a member of the ministry for more than sixteen months he's lost out the but again right. If you bring that to net present value is probably still not right. Probably the first one probably within that first year is still not sufficient. Because i will say to you this way again. Don't take legal medical bill paying advice from podcast if seven thousand dollars an unpaid pregnancy and you can afford to pay the hospital. Five hundred dollars a month. They will absolutely discount though and you will pay it off again. Not saying you have to i. I really don't see the strength of this because it sounds like you're arguing against any insurance when that same thing applied to any insurance company. Well no for multiple reasons. The biggest reasons are that the insurance companies have to provide all of the benefits that are specifically excluded. Here right so we're just talking about what people back. Which is what. I'm trying to say like. It's not.

"Off line. Yeah great definitely. You're getting the episode for. Yeah let's get to today's episode. Which sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun down down so andrew. Did eric swollen sending elite seal team six into You know. I don't know what i guess. Commit trespassing on mo brooks and assassinate somebody. I don't know what the the allegations are. Sound silly to me but did that happen. So why don't i quote look like we all know congressman mo brooks of alabama's garbage here is how here here is a direct quotation from the fundraising literature that he is sending out to his garbage constituents and anybody else on any like you know list if you've ever bought a related product. I'm sure you've got this pitch via email quote. Click below to watch eric. Swallows horrible agent speed. That's capital down our driveway run. That's in capitals out of the car and storm into our house. Radical left camp. Take me down so now. They're coming after my wife. Click here to make a donation to my senate campaign is why so. I assume there's also footage of them running out with his wife. Then ed help us fight back against eric. Swale well and the unhinged democrats that was also in capital letters. But i was bob dunne scouting this point for today. Yeah hint if you click on the video you will not see a car speed down the driveway. You will just run. I don't know it'd be running for me. But you know i say trot person wanted to get to their destination ed you would see them cross through an open garage. Door is what you will say. You will not see him. Enter the house which the agent denies doing You will certainly not see speeding kidnapping the wife storming the running away with a bloody knife or something and then was stabbed. Not as far as we can tell so look. This is a question about service of process. Okay and i thought it was time to do a little mini deep dive on that and to answer. Because we've gotten some really really good questions. Including like i think the best question which is folks who go out and like read the rules for themselves and then say well this in plain english seems to to to to allow ex right and so one of the thinks is this is service. A process governed by rule five of the federal rules of procedure. And it says rule. Five beat who subsection c says That you can serve By mailing to the person's last known address in which event service is complete upon mainly and so the question that gets into why gca through this whole you know storming the castle. Although i did she just mail it to the guy and i. I have answers to all that. So what is service of process service process. It covers two functions. The first is you can file a lawsuit but not serve it on a person right and that is to say you've gone through the trouble of actually putting it in the court You've paid your filing fee. But maybe what you want to say to somebody is hey man. I just filed a lawsuit against you can go online. You can look it up if you want to end this before. I serve you with papers and start the clock running for your time to answer. Which means you're going to have to go a lawyer the then i'm open and i'm listening but the clock is ticking and the clock is ticking because you have to do that second component. When you file a lawsuit you have to prove to the court that you have actually given it to the person or persons that you're suing and that is called service of process and as i described it's governed by will five of the federal civil procedure in practice. This is carried out by Depending on the jurisdiction almost always hitmen. You know almost always carried out by professional process servers and they have a little cottage industry of what they do is you give them the papers. you tell them who they need to serve And then a blood hound is run off sometimes their former or current private investigators. Sometimes they're just people with a with some experience on that the the more tricky you think it is to serve somebody the more likely you are to call somebody that has a background sort of knows all the nuances and and i look. I've had to do. I've had to serve papers on folks who were evading process before and you know i've had process servers get creative right now. None of the get creative match up to sort of what you've seen maybe sometimes on tv. I've had them like hiding a potted plant. This was This is a key a competing business and my processor server showed up rang. The doorbell and said oh. Hey can i see you know mistakes. I have an appointment consulting appointment at three o'clock and then the receptionist buzzed him. In and in the process server went in and and wild the guy was like. I don't seem to see you on my calendar was like oh he was like. Oh maybe this will help. The papercity ended it too and then after that happens. Are you legally required to say you've been served You were not required but you are required to do that right so five. Be to says a paper served under this rule by a is handing it to the person. So that's what so that thing that you see on. Tv is in fact that the primary way in which people get served with process that is somebody will handed to them and like. Can they mislead you. Could they do exactly what i just described. That actually happened in real life on behalf of mea that they can do that. Okay and then what happens. Is the process. Server fills out a return affidavit. I'm no link the one in the swale well case Here i should call it. The swallowed by the processor here was a gentleman named christian. Celeski sec lucky. Sorry and. Mr cyclopes affidavit is Publicly available you can go. Click on it and read it and it just describes the process right. It says hey. I went out to x. address i saw by fatigue. I it just not mention that part right But it describes the circumstances under which you delivered the paper to that person and so for example this one says i initially tried making contact with the occupants at their address. Seventy six ten foxfire drive southeast in huntsville alabama. That's a matter of public record. So we can say that. I tried making contact with the occupants by going to the front door knocking ringing the intercom bringing the front door security device similar to a ring system however there was no answer after waiting nearby eventually saw a toyota highlander and then There's a note of the license plate that says two more brooks and martha brooks Which again leads me to believe that. There was some additional. Pi work behind the scenes. Done hearing pull into the driveway of the residents. I followed and also drove down the driveway. When i stopped my car at the bottom of the hill. The toyota highlander was parked in a parking garage and the garage door was opened. Which is true. You can see that on the video. I got out of my car. I walked driver's side door. The twitter highlander as i was approximately two or three feet away. The driver's side door opened. And i recognize the female in the driver's seat to martha brooks. I extended the papers toward the woman for her to accept. Instead mrs brooks i am serving you with legal paperwork. This is for your husband mowbray's so you know you got served as martha. Brookes exited the car. I asked her if she wanted me to hand her the papers she did not answer but yelled at me to leave and told me she is calling. The police then said okay. I'm putting them on the floor right here. I then dropped the papers near her feet and reminded her the papers have been served. I immediately walked back to my car to leave the property. However i was unable to immediately leave because martha brookes walked around to the rear my car extensively to note my license plate and reversing backup. The driver was the only way to leave after approximately five or six seconds..

"Stone. Now charge the january six insurrection. So what's your stood up to coming up right earlier this week. There is this moment in a hearing congressional hearing. That hardly got any attention. These happen all the time. The most hearing moments get no attention. Right secretary state. Twenty blinken was appearing. Virtually foreign affairs committee and he was asked this question by democratic congresswoman. Ilhan omar minnesota. I know you oppose the court's investigation in both palestinian and in afghanistan. I haven't seen any evidence in either pieces that domestic warts can both can and will prosecute alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity. And i would emphasize that in israel and palestine. This includes crimes committed by both israeli security forces them amass in afghanistan and includes crimes committed by the afghan national government and the taliban so in both of these cases if domestic points can't or won't pursue justice and oppose the cc. Where do we think the victims of this. Suppose that crimes can go for. Justice are just to be clear here right. Congressman was asking secretary. Blinken where he thinks. Victims of alleged war crimes crimes against humanity can go for justice if local court say is really court or afghantistan. Courts will not look into these cases and if the us opposes the international criminal quarter. I see from investigating these alleged crimes. When it comes to afghanistan and the israeli palestinian conflict. She was referencing. The fact that there are active international criminal court investigations of all the entities. She named back in marci is he opened an investigation into alleged israeli war crimes in palestinian territories. The increase expected to investigate alleged crimes committed by israelis and palestinians. It will look at whether rocket fire by hamas and other groups from gaza amount to war crimes last year. The ict ruled chief. Prosecutor can open investigation to war crimes in afghanistan since two thousand three by all sides in the conflict including the taliban and us led forces though that's all factual that this is factual recitation of the things happening the international criminal court. The implication of course of the question is how do we move to a system in which there is actually a global sense equal justice under the law that is not just ruled by the powerful who will of course not investigate their own governments crimes. But some kind of investor katori body that investigates crimes with no fear or favor of powerful and less powerful countries alike. That's the point. She's making based on the facts before the then the congresswoman tweeted out her exchange sectors lincoln adding this quote. We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the us. israel afghanistan the taliban. That's when things blew up yesterday. Dozen democratic colleagues in the house issued a statement calling on the congresswoman to quote clarify her words place in the us and israel and the same categories hamas and the taliban to representative. Omar responded quote to be clear. I was no equating terrorist. Organizations with democratic countries well established judicial system's afterward house leadership including speaker. Nancy pelosi issued a statement welcoming the clarification by congressman are while also warning the quote drawing false equivalency between democracies like israel and groups that engage in terrorism. Come off in the taliban foments prejudice and undermines progress towards the future of peace and security for all. Sometimes when you tell the truth he reveals something. Your audience not ready to here. So if you have a problem with the grouping of these entities together and i understand why you would you should turn your ir towards whatever it is the. Us has done to put us in that category and not on congresswoman ilhan omar for pointing it out roger.

"Story. About the trump justice department's investigations into democratic representatives. Staffers already triggered blowback from both inside and outside the department less than twenty four hours after the story was first reported. The office of the inspector general announced it will review the matter while senate majority leader chuck schumer and judiciary committee chairman. Dick german retina subpoena former attorneys. General william bar. Jeff sessions to testify before congress about the investigations thing is according to your times at least four. Doj officials who were involved in briefings about the hunt for leakers. Still justice department. That is not lost on one of the targets of this. Whole thing. Congressman. adam schiff. I think that the the attorney general has not vacation to clean house to essentially understand. Exactly what the department was doing the last four years. Make sure that there's accountability for those. That were engaged in political and partisan investigations within the department an opinion piece for the washington post former federal prosecutor. Paul butler argues the best way for twenty general merrick. garland protect. Justice department is to stop defending his predecessor professor of law at georgetown university law center and he joins me now. Take three argument. Paul so chris here there two major issues. The first sessions in bar justice department when after trump's political enemies was there a legal predicate for them to seek this very personal data about congress. People their staff. There are families and enough famous exchange. When then senator harris asked attorney general bar. Trump had ever directed to investigate somebody forest. Answer the answer. Any prosecutor with integrity should have been hell. No because i would quit and stabbed bar held in hard all. What do you mean by this word. And and that were that was revealing. it raised the distinct possibility that bar was believed to weaponize the department of justice to go after trump's political enemies at. That's where we are now so chris. The other major issue is what the biden justice department is going to do about this. so far. we've seen this pattern of protecting the trump justice department. That's starting to look more and more of the same as protecting corruption. So that's a. This is the sort of 'institutionalised paradox. That i think garland finds himself in right which is the some of the norms are rotated department of justice. I think two of them were the independence department. Right of taking orders from the white house directly a and b you abandoning continuity and how the department did its business continuity the positions it took and the cases it took so you come and you think well we want to restore those norms. So we're going to be independent and not let the white house tell us what to do. And we're going to go back to more continuity so we're gonna take the same position to the trump justice department on the e jean carroll lawsuit etc but that is the problem it seems to me. That's exactly right chris. I'm a proud alumnus of the department of justice and i respect the journals institutional commitments. But when buying was running he said that the trump administration was deep. Most corrupt in modern history and biden's justice department has not responded by fighting for transparency and accountability. And i understand muir garland's with to look forward not backward now to substitute trump's lock corrup- with biden's lock him up but looking backwards looking backwards. That's a dangerous approach. People are allowed to subvert the constitution with no consequences. Yeah that's very well Well sat and this is going to think it's gonna come to a head. I mean there's going to be some choices that have to be made as we go forward here and there's gonna be a lot riding on those choices that are made by the attorney general paul butler as always great. Thank you you all right. There's still.

Okay david duke. Likes donald trump. I don't like david. i like donald trump. i don't like david duke. Okay the fact that crazy people join our caused doesn't mean we have to defend the crazy people right. It doesn't help us. We don't gain any traction or any credibility by trying to act like the somehow all of the bad people were democrats. All of the bad people were all of the bad people were antifa. It's juice not true. We have to be responsible polices of our own house and making sure that when we hear those things from people that we know and i hear them i should. Maybe i should do show. I could do just all the messages. I received from people because i received some really really crazy dangerous stuff. That is absolutely not okay. And if we don't police it we should expect to be lumped in with it because by turning a blind eye to it and acting like well and it's okay it's not okay okay and when you know people who are advocating for that stuff and pushing for armed insurrection and no no no no no at some point.
