"That's how many sacks he had last year. That's how many times he hit the ground just sacked. Now you add in quarterback hits and hurries. There's a lot more to that. So not having a fully healthy year as a rookie also could be a problem. So he's gonna have to stay healthy number one. I know statistically 6 two, but he's probably more like 6 one, you know, they probably just stretched them out a little bit for the stats, but he's the biggest guy. Yeah, they fudged it a little bit. I mean, they had me at 6 three, but I was really 6 too, okay? So anyway, going back to the offensive line, they're going to have to be huge. Number one, protecting the quarterback. So if you can protect the quarterback and you don't have 44 sacks and you don't have your quarterback missing games because of the fact that he was dealing with some type of injury, then you can take advantage of the people that you have on your roster, take advantage of this draft class. He's going to have to play a full 17 games. If they want to revamp this jets team. Yeah, Nick, and I think the other thing she has to be more consistent. I mean, we saw 11 interceptions last year. There were times where he looked really good. There were times where he looked really bad. I think you want a lot more of those really good this year because as Ryan has pointed out here, he has the best supporting cast around him of any of the second year quarterbacks. So now is the time for him to take that step, cut down on the turnovers, cut down on the sacks, use some of that mobility and take that next step with all the weapons. He has around him with a good offensive line in front of him in a very good coordinator and Mike Lafleur. And a good final 6 games for Zach Wilson last year, a good off season so far for the jets. Can't wait for September already. Time now though, for one more thing, before we go. And for that, we check in with cowboys cornerback Trayvon Diggs who tweeted a simple yet at least to some inflammatory tweet. He said quote sacks are easier to get than interceptions. RC, I'm gonna let you do you agree disagree with this one. Your perspective is an ink real quick. Listen, hey, I totally agree. We never seen somebody get 22 sacks, have we? Listen, it's hard. I mean, 22 and a second. Yeah, there you go. It's hard to get interceptions. We have to make plays back there. They got guys just getting sacks all Willy nilly. I mean, you might even break the record with a Hall of Fame quarterback rolling out to you and laying on the ground in front of you. Bingo. RC, come on. I'm never gonna win this battle with a DB in the D line, but guess what? I think we probably saw some low lights of Baker Mayfield overthrowing people or under throwing people or overthrowing an outrage. Right into the DB's hands, come on. All right, DBs. Defensive lineman getting sacks. We'll settle this debate next week. NFL live back on that crazy. It is our favorite time of year as we're back traveling the road of college football and Goodyear knows the passion and the excitement it takes to drive forward. Whether your team is home or away, the game's traditions are still the same. Through every first down, touchdown or fourth quarter comeback by moving anything is possible. Goodyear is here to drive you forward on the road that moves us all. Goodyear. More driven. So Ryan, we are back in Orchard park, we're back outside the bills game, and your porta potty guy at Ben cans, Dale, and his whole crew. They were in the middle of this half suck ritual, doing it to hundreds of porta potties. And you understandably, we're gagging at the smell. Were you able to rally and complete the rounds with them? By the end of the day, I was like, I'm an honorary porta potty cleaning guy, because I kind of started to get used to it. And so what happened when I got used to it is I then greatly enjoyed watching other people get horrified by it. There was one guy when he fired that thing up and it blasted the air out and it's a large cloud that comes out in the general vicinity. Is it a visible cloud? No, not that I could tell, although the kind of like crying from the smell. It was a little blurry. But there was a guy who was standing there and when Ben turned the hose on, I saw the guy crinkle up his nose and then he just started.

"States doing to deal with that? So here in Alabama, there was a bill introduced last year. It was actually voted down just to ban all forms of THC. Wow. Yeah, and there was a ban in most recently in Texas. That was lifted, whereas other states, I think New York is the most recent one to be successful in putting restrictions on both producing and selling delta 8. And I think it's up to over a dozen states have either restricted purchasing or banned it completely. But to me, we got to this point with Delta 8 because CBD was legalized. And there's so much of it. And so people are just going to find another compound. I think in this plant, there's so many different chemicals in this plant that if THC and delta 8 is band, they'll find the next one. And so it's hard for state and federal laws to keep up with all these backyard chemists, so to speak. And it sounds like there is a lack of real research about all the different cannabinoids out there that could be created. There's like a dearth of research about this plant in general. Why is that? So ever since we put marijuana cannabis sativa on the controlled substances list, there's been very, very little approvals for research. And as we know, with plant breeding, I mean, we've even though it's been a legal in many places, we've been breeding cannabis for certain traits for decades and decades. And so there's so much variety out there in the plant genetics, even within this one species, cannabis sativa. And people haven't had access to do the research on that. And I think we did ourselves a big disservice by adding it to the controlled substances act and making it a schedule one drug. It's been stigmatized. There's a really long history and I feel like we could talk for hours about just the history of the plan and the laws surrounding it. And as each state now allows recreational or medicinal cannabis use, we don't have the information to do that as safely as we could if we started this years and years ago. How is it affected you that scientific research into cannabis that is being heavily used all over the country has been blocked by law? It's incredibly frustrating. I have to jump through hoops to do hemp research and I understand there should be some sort of regulations, but I've had to go get background checks and be fingerprinted. And I have very strict protocols for where the plants can and can not be on campus. And as for the foreseeable future, I won't be able to do any research on marijuana or cannabis plants. And so at the end of the day, it's really frustrating because I do see the benefits of this plant both on the agricultural side as to help diversify our agriculture in the United States, especially in the southern U.S. where we can grow a lot of crops in the long growing season, but also on the human side, we know that it helps people that have ailments. And so why can't we treat this as any other medicine or plant compound that has benefits and if taken incorrectly, it has bad effects. So yeah, bottom line has just been frustrating. So if science nor federal regulation is really able to keep up with the industry in the United States, what's your biggest fear about what's what could happen and what would prevent that from happening? So my fear is that tainted or dangerous products are marketed and sold on a mass scale. What we need is a from the top down, we need regulations and uniform sampling and testing approvals and regulations to make sure that safe products are going out there because as long as there is this gray area, a lot of people aren't going to understand it, and they'll be people trying to make money off of it. And so we need a much more formalized uniform procedure. If this is going to be sold on a big scale. Well, thank you so much, Caitlin for talking to me. Absolutely. Thanks for having me. "How omicron shakes out. Let's make sure that we're actually decoupling from this hospitalization spike. Let's make sure that we're not going to overwhelm our health systems. And let's make sure that we're just going to end up with what we would probably call a seasonally endemic virus, meaning like cold or flu. So there's a more or less expected level every year it varies over the course of the year, right? It goes up in the winter. It goes down in the summer, just like all respiratory viruses. Well, but we kind of know what to expect mostly year to year. Sometimes with the flu, we still get what epidemiologists will call an epidemic flu. That just means higher than we would normally expect. That's all epidemic needs. Right, technically speaking, is a higher level of disease than we would expect. We can deal with that, but let's make sure that we understand what we're signing up for. And I don't think we're quite there with omicron. That's why we need to focus on effective, but not massively disruptive steps. Humanity has accomplished a whole lot so far. We created penicillin the automobile and the Internet, not to mention drones duct tape and the hot dog, people did that. But none of it happens without the power of human connection. The other thought I had was just reducing capacity, of course, and is that still a reasonable mitigation measure. And again, I know there's logistical as well as economic concerns there if they were to do it. But should the MBA be restricting just sheer numbers in their buildings right now? Would that help? Yes. Fewer people in the same volume of space means fewer people who have the virus and less virus in the air. And less ability for it to translate. It's not rocket science. So they should absolutely be considering that. I would say, just for a month, in a month, we're going to have a much better idea of in this country and in the specific markets where NBA teams operate. How are hospitalizations going to follow case spikes? And is our healthcare system prepared for that? If our healthcare system is prepared for that, I do think the argument swings a little more back towards personal responsibility. Where you get vaccinated and boosted, you can hopefully access rapid tests more cheaply with the administration announcement this week. You've got the ability to protect yourself. We should institute as many mandates as possible, but at some point we do have to move on and live with it. But omara has generated enough concern for me that I just want to take a minimal pause, some common sense, not majorly disruptive steps just until we're sure that this isn't going to bring our health system crashing down on everyone's ads. Yeah. Right. I know people who need surgeries. I'm hearing about surgery, starting to get delayed. That really scares me, okay? We don't want to put ourselves in a situation like that stupidly. We're not going back to March 2020. People who say, you know, no lockdowns, we never had a real lockdown in this country, but we definitely haven't had anything approximating that. In a year and a half, we're not going back to that. So please stop using that as an argument. And let's talk about specific interventions that you like or don't like. And I think we'll find that there's a lot more common ground than people on social media where people yelling on cable news would have us believe. There are a lot of steps that everybody across the political spectrum and the social spectrum is going to agree on. Amen. A couple more before that you go Zach. I want to just touch on Kyrie Irving briefly here because the nets had made a decision early on that because the New York law was that he could not play. He could not be inside Barclay center for being sided medicines regarded, so he couldn't play home games, they decided, well, it's too disruptive to have him play just road games. Now they get, you know, the roster gets ravaged. And so they have made a concession to bring Kyrie Irving back. The first thing that happened was Kyrie everyone went into protocols, which seems to indicate that he's positive for the virus. So it raises an interesting question here though, which is, if Kyrie Irving comes out of this, having gotten a COVID-19, and now is developed antibodies. The NBA, it's not an NBA rule that he couldn't play at Barclays center. That was a New York City rule. I don't know, I don't think New York City has an exemption for it. Maybe the new mayor will make one for somebody who has survived COVID and now has antibodies and that's I don't want to get into whether that's as good as being vaccinated or not. But it does put them in a different place. What do you make? I guess just in general of the idea that maybe Kyrie Irving could play the rest of the season even home games because if he has contracted COVID and now his antibodies, if that's his more or less as good as being vaccinated, is there a case to be made, whether it's this is to the case to the New York City government or whoever that Kyrie Irving should be fully eligible. Well, I'll have to leave that to virologists and physicians and health authorities to really answer with any detail. I want to be clear though. It's not really clear how vaccine induced immunity and infection induced immunity stack up against each other, especially when it comes to omicron. What we do know is that it seems like a combination actually generates the best and most durable immune response. That is not to say people should go out and get infected. That is not what I'm saying. But I would feel great about kairi if he got vaccinated a little bit after this. I don't think he will, but that would make me feel really good about him. I, you know, natural immunity, certainly you're going to have some antibodies like we can't say it does, nothing. It definitely does something, but there is some data to suggest that vaccine induced immunity is a little bit better, a little bit stronger, that a combination really leaves you the most protected. So I would be encouraging everyone to get vaccinated and then boosted as soon as you're eligible. And hopefully that will leave you with durable immunity. But, you know, we'll have to see what the case is with Kyrie. Maybe you can measure his antibody titers and try to make an individual case or something like that,.

"Supercuts, the smarter, easier way to get a haircut. It's not just any haircut. It's super cuts. In ultramarathons, it's crazy. I don't go into it with anything in my mind of like, this is what's going to get me through. But these mantras just find you. They just do. And this one, in this case, was find it. That's a hand, telling me what it's like to run 135 miles across the desert. And how she found a way to keep going. It was the first section where I really felt groggy. So it was overnight. It was kind of early in the race. I was like 22 miles in and you know, 5 hours in. I should have still been feeling fresh, but it just hit me like a wave, right? I was just so tired all of a sudden. And the words just came to me. Find it. And I didn't know exactly what it meant. I mean, yeah. I don't know what happened. Like one 55. 20 29 miles. And for a while, I was crazy like doing so gross. And something just happened and I feel great again. But I knew that it was just whatever. Whatever you need, whatever you need to find in this moment. And this is such a good reminder. Early in this race, that when I'm feeling this, a Second Life on the other side of that. That just happens. Like you're really, really? Just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other. You just have to keep pushing because there's something there. If you do that and there's not a lot of sports that have this level of exertion where you can just be. Hank on every. And I just kept coming to that throughout the race, find it. And there's something really cathartic in those words. It's just two words. It's 6 letters. It's so simple, but it was also about a purpose, right? Why am I doing this? Why was I bothering to go through something so grueling? Why was I putting myself through this? What was it that I was looking for the whole time?.
