"Time in the company, really since like the mid 90s. Right? Like the 94 95 range. Right. And you have competition. So if you had a 94 and 95, it's a weird time. I'm not going to lie. It's a weird time. I think last summer they were on fire, Cena comes back against rains, SummerSlam Allegiant Stadium. It felt like they were coming out of the pandemic. They had the full crowds and all this stuff. But you know, as you know in combat sports and pro wrestling and boxing and MMA, it's all cyclical, right? So in 8 months from now we could be like, it's a summer when they were done. And now they're on fire because they got The Rock coming back at WrestleMania. It's all cyclical. It always comes back, and I'm sure it will, in this case, but the reason it reminds me of the mid 90s a little bit is the dip and talent combined with a real competitor. And I thought on that cheap hit show, I thought they made a good point about AW is also at a weird point where they have emphasized the wrestling so hard. And the quality of the match is really at the expense of storytelling. And they're basically just trying to, you know, have the best matches, which is great. But at some point, if you want to get bigger than that, you have to figure out how to weave in the better storytelling, except for MDF, MJF. Spectacular. Rowdy Roddy Piper reincarnated, but for the most part, I don't think the storytelling has really been there with them. I don't think they're that interesting. The matches are great though. It's a little too indie and also they sign 9 people every show. Every show, it's like, oh, here's the XWB guy coming out, and then the next segment is another. And then another. So I just feel like they've lost some of that sort of touch that they had. But still, I'm very happy that there's another outlet for these guys and gals to make more money for sure. By the way, that's what killed WCW. They hit the secret sauce. They had it. They had the recipe they had the right mix of guys. I like granted. I feel the same way about a feel like they should've turned at least once but with a roman. Yeah you coulda tournament earlier. But i don't think you enjoy that. Turn as much you enjoying this right now. I think right now. He's he's a fully formed fully actualized character that you can understand if you followed him since his debut with the shield like it all makes perfect even if you have problems as a shield if you know his family if he knows that if you know heyman story with lessner it all makes better sense now than you know him. Just being the guy who breaks the shield up or or anything like that like sometimes sometimes they get it right and sometimes they get it wrong and see punk is who has forgotten more about wrestling that oliver learn. He just had some kids and You know he's I wish the best for a man. Like leo rush the mike and wwe a lot of my my most fun time was with leo and being able to kind of like help mold that clay into that the majority of that. Wwe iran and He's one of my favorite people on earth. Man he's such a genuine dude T he tells you exactly how he feels like the matter. What and The thing with him is. I think he's just so supremely talented. And it sucks that like. He had such an incredible moment at double nothing. And you know it kind of was gone in a flash because of a freak injury. I think he's gonna be alright. I think it's gonna be right because you know he's he's the smart thing and was doing stuff outside of wwe's for outside of wrestling as far as music is concerned and he was on the challenge on mtv and all that type of stuff so the upcoming power rangers movie as well so like. He's been doing some things that has kind of set them up to be in good shape for somebody so young. He's only twenty six years old man. He's a kid still you know. But he's got some grown man. responsibilities So i mean. I wish i wish you know i wanna go publicly and say about the best but i'll tell you this. This is definitely not the last time you seen that guy man. He's gonna be alright. I'm glad you're here to say that. I'm i'm glad you had the inside scoop on that too. I hope i wish nothing but the best rim to i mean we all get make tough decisions sometimes and this is in taking care of your family. Well something it's not actually a tough decision but he's got a brand. New newborn just got married to love of his life. So as a fan of him and as his friend. I'm sad that he's not going to be doing what he's he's wanted to do for most of his life. But i'm glad he's had enough foresight and enough you know You know sense of and of knowledge of self to know what was really important like holding his kids being with his family being able to take care of his family You know that is the most important thing so you know.
