Microsoft Xbox Series X News

"Confirms. It's twenty twenty plans and teases the xbox series XS boot up sound Microsoft shared a blog post this morning setting the table for the upcoming year. While reminding everyone that there will be a stream on Thursday showcasing xbox series X. Games. There are a few specific big beats from the blog. Post though event on Thursday is apparently the first of many planned monthly events quoting from the blog post starting with the May seventh episode of inside. Xbox we will be showcasing what happens next in the world of xbox every month which is why we're calling it. Xbox twenty twenty. These monthly moments will take place throughout the rest of the year and will be away for us to engage connect and celebrate with you about what's in store for the next generation of gaming including what's next for xbox series xbox Game Studios xbox Game Pass and Project X Cloud. Every month will bring something different. Stay tuned to xbox wire for more details the post also touches on Halo Infinite with Microsoft writing our goal remains to launch xbox series x and Halo Infinite. This holiday which says two things to me one is. They have no plans to delay anything yet. Despite various Kovic nineteen issues and to Microsoft is putting the two side by side as a package which I think is smart. The best way to launch a new system is to couple it with a great gain like a breath of the wild or halo combat evolved which is what the original xbox launched with the xbox series acts and halo infinite seemed to go hand in hand to the point where. I wonder if one was to get delayed. Maybe it would mean that both got delayed. Microsoft also writes in the block post in July. We will dedicate time to focus on the incredible games coming from xbox game studios a number of our studio teams are looking forward to sharing. I looks at New gameplay insights from development teams being optimized for xbox series X and brand new game announcements. We cannot wait to share this. Initial look at what some of those teams are working on this to me says we can expect another big reveal of various games in July which is passed the somewhat arbitrary former e. three June zone but still ahead of the launch of the new console. It also says to me that this is where the big reveals will happen and we might not see any major game reveals or announcements on Thursday. But I am eager to be wrong. I hope Thursday is a showcase for a lot of really exciting stuff. One of the most interesting parts of the block post though is a sixteen second video that plays what may be the xbox series XS boot up sound. Microsoft doesn't explicitly say this is the xbox series XS boot up sound but the videos description on youtube reads boot up a new episode of inside xbox. This Thursday may seventh at eight. Pm Pacific Time for a first look at gameplay from our partners for the xbox series x and then if you turn on the closed captions on the Youtube video of the sound reads new xbox sound in brackets. Here's what it sounds like. A if it is in fact the XBOX series XS boot up sound which I think it is then. I think this is a fun way to reveal it. It's one of those small things that you're curious about when it comes to a new console and ahead of any major revelations related to the system. I like learning what the thing will sowed like when I turn it

"Write everything down and then write the report later or did you do it all from memory. I pretty much for memory I knew Matt so I knew his information. So I believe I wrote Down Jessica and her date of birth I think we normally get a person's name date of birth phone number and address believe ass math. All all the Information Jessica Okay and then mm-hmm case number on apple the coast for him to be able to type a report and then I just type a report later that night after after everything. Okay trying to think about anything else on this so I don't WanNa have to bother anymore with this stuff. Man When Coleman asked Trammell what he knows about Matthew's Marriage Jessica he brings up yet another report. Another call to police the night before Jessica is found with apparent gunshot wounds. I never officers went out there the previous night I think actually I think I believe they were dispatched breath. Okay that was about. I'm not I didn't go out for that one so I'm not sure exactly mm-hmm the same day. That officer Trammell is interviewed by Agent Coleman August Thirtieth Jessica's neighbors Josh Whitney who didn't answer the door. The night of the shooting shooting. Also get a visit from the GBI is Jared Coleman and Chris. dimarco shared home. Tom Chris Forego it turns out they also heard gunshots that night. Not when Matthew Boynton reported hearing shots but earlier before midnight when Jessica's neighbor Megan and her fiance also heard shots. I can't remember because we've heard gunshot or we heard. After Josh tells the investigators he heard the couple arguing going going up and down the stairs outside their door and then at some point heard gunfire the gun shop at about eleven. Third it Wa- certainly Hanky there the second pair of neighbors that heard gunshots before Matthew reported reported hearing that as he ran toward the apartment not minutes before but over an hour before he called into dispatch but Griffin Police Chief Mike Gates's this is untroubled by the conflicting reports. I think in in generalities when it comes to traumatic events and complicated investigations is a witness testimony Especially people that are interviewed some time after this incident. It's not uncommon for misconceptions of time People want to Create they want to make sense out of dramatic things that happen. They will embellish and had and leave things out. I think that's common in an investigation. But only person that can answer those questions for you or the people that were interviewed or the Gbi agents conducting the investigations in the end after reviewing all. The evidence concludes that Jessica points injury. That left her in a coma was a suicide attempt. Matthew Boynton already verbally cleared and back on the job is finally cleared of all wrongdoing. Megan Browning thinks it was was a foregone conclusion. It's a suicide. Were training this as a suicide. It's over the only two people that really know the truth. Truth is Matthew in Jessica and so far Jessica hasn't been able to recall what happened. Chicken recall up to a certain Poland. But she can't she can't remember an honestly if she were to do to day tomorrow. Say I remember. It'd be a problem with that because they say well. You've just been hearing things if I if I really had to come up with with something I think. She had a blunt force trauma I think they both have said they will argue in. He says the arguing. She said that she remembers him arguing. And I think she got hit with something. Even the doctor said it looked more like a blunt force force trauma than being shot and if she had if she had done it herself issues. You say planning to shoot yourself and you lay down on the pillow and there's no blood anywhere else except on that pill. It's so many so many unanswered questions and I don't. I don't know that we'll ever ever get them because I don't. I don't believe that Matthew will ever tell the truth and I wrote letters to to the governor. I sent them to director. I sent him to the city manager's and I'm to the DA's office he's listed. Emma let are listed all the all the questions. You know the answers to some of the questions you oh quiet then all you hear back from everybody a GPO did a great investigation very thorough investigation. Jessica Boynton is left with the results of the investigation that she tried to kill herself but despite her lack of memory about those critical last minutes in the closet before bullets were fired from her husband service weapon. She's adamant she did not try to kill herself. Something else happened. I believe that whoever did it hit me over the head with something Anthony and wherever that something was it was only like two to three inches long. Because that's was the length of my initial wound before four. They had to do everything to it. So you know it lines up to about you know the the length of the end of the of gun one. So he could've used his gun to hit me over the head with it and then his gun The the model that it was had issues with going off when it was dropped. Or you know whatever. If you just throw it down it was going go off. So is very possible that he hit me over the head with it or his finger could have been on the trigger and he accidentally pulled it. And that's what made the the bullet hole in the ceiling. Well then after that you know I'm laying on the ground. Then he decided well craft craft. Maybe that doesn't look quite right. Maybe I need to do another one down low. Just I don't know why I don't know what the the thinking that would be. That's what I think happened is that I was hit over the head with something and Megan Browning is more direct. She envisions a scenario. Where Jessica wasn't alone in that closet? Well when you're trying to stage a suicide as a police officer who's your an officer of the law. No one would ever think of you being the assailant when your beloved wife who can't even get the gun out of your holster who's never handled a weapon in her life and you're going to put her in a closet place the gun under her pillow. Place your head on a pillow and then you're gonna swap the door handles and make it look like she locked. Dr Self as Jessica goes about pulling her life together and recovering from a life threatening injury. Matthew Boynton continues patrolling the streets of Griffin in Georgia. Absolved of any blame in the incident with this story is over and Matthew. Boynton isn't out of the woods woods yet. Next time on the officer's wife that's can't be contrived that's are by nature factual that was actually a self inflicted gunshot wound. That happened to her. Nothing else leads us to believe that anything else happened her her pulling the trigger. You don't I'll have to ruin somebody else's life just because you don't like that they're saying the truth. "But it sounds pretty interesting. Speaking of coop. Remember left for dead. Do I rock studios? Damn right. Yeah. Gators over dead. They made was Volve. Yes. They've announced their new game called back. Four blood. What did they back for guess Dombi blood kind of game? This is it's a it's a number four. Maybe that helps. Numeral for blood? Oh, jeez. I feel like this press release might as well just have said like vows not going to make it. So. Yeah. That's basically how this reads Warner's gonna public. Yeah. We're brothers is publishing. It. This looks and sounds just like left-footed game. I'm guessing. Oh, yeah. They flat out say that. Did they put out any assets or just the press release? No, not like nothing. It's kind of a name and not much else. But like it seems like they're trying to infer like we worked on left for dead before in it. The president of Warner interactive said this we're thrilled the partner with proven turtle rock studios team on back for blood to advance the co op zombie genre forward. Great. Thank god. Nobody for so many year. What he what he is pretending this anything other than exactly when his arteries didn't get it done. So honestly, that's fine with me because I would totally play a new one of those awesome. When we're talking about it. I think it's like we were all into the same idea of hell, yes. Give us another left for dead, but just adds some sort of progression be some sort of reward for replaying. It, you know, because those original games there was really nothing. You would just went in the same apps the same characters over and over again, which was fun. Like, it's. Yeah. I spent I had a solid year and a half where I played left for dead one every night on XBox sixty with the same people like those games can last like that. But the way that games a service and modern games work..

"Says are even older i mentioned to you know we did that interview with you duke university with a cui led off with visuals source save okay ha which the audience thought was hilarious and you answered so elegantly you're you're my reference point for wet what's great about a tech fellow okc just explained it hey we did a lot with source control it was the first duly like it was transformative so you should have been online line without all along i find astonished that the team system and team services has evolved brive remembered as a product that went beside rational rose like you go this way or that way with the same thing you don't look anything like that anymore that's right yeah i think you the ecosystem is changed a lot man when we first got into this this business of of application lifecycle management solutions you have the the industry was dominated by ibm with their rational sweet raise was was one of many components along with clear cason and quality center and non starting our calls and that was hp she whatever their bug tracking system was call which i'll forget and so that you know there's ibm and there was hp with their mercury agrees tools and then there was odd and then there was you know serve borland kind of off a little bit on the saw a few other smaller players but it was dominated by the three main players offering sort of you know soup to nuts integrate is as we and yeah that changed a lot like the ecosystem is now full of lots of small startups and people trying to weave together band of breed solutions that was sort of the normal practice for a number of years they're resorted went out on the internet and grabbed the pieces yulia keno via liked fahd bugs out of there is all these different choices and he kind of assembled the kit you want it.

"And making get a great version control system or organisations encode bases of all sizes so so this this week are the today we announced a partnership with get hub to drive forward the gps work that we started as we move to to move microsoft onto onto get in a microsoft has some very large code vases and windows are arguably the biggest in the world that windows it's three hundred gigabytes gathered there get repos three hundred gigabytes of five point five million files answers very large and in in what i call vanilla get it just would never work i mean some commands would never finish others you know like even just a basic get status which is supposed to be instantaneous would take like eighteen minutes you know it's just kind of silly didn't you have teams that actually contributed to the get core libraries to to deal with hosting hundreds and hundreds of commits yes lower now very active committer is to get we work closely with the community reporter with get hub of right i think it a hole in plastic light if these things taking a long time not just a matter of making the may sank right though he has you've still waiting that's right yeah yeah i know this really is about fundamentally changing the performance and scale characteristics of get some of it has been just really good old performance tuning of get because no one had tried it on really big code basis but some of it was really fundamentally changing what get was doing we had to add an obstruction layer under get that works through a virtual file system and basically only manifests the part of the repo that you access and nobody access is all three hundred gigabytes of the repo you own rise the little particles that you work on.
