"From Pigeon thought. Leaders. Here's Lisa Davis Impact investing portfolio manager at P. Jem Real estate. I think we used to believe in the SD circles. That climate change was the great systemic risk to financial markets that we needed to find a way to account for, and the challenge was to connect the individual investments that we were making to addressing climate risk at a systemic level. I think the challenge now that I see is that inequality around the globe is equally important systemic risk, often connected to climate risk that we have to address in financial markets here. "And then James Copeland Italian Loftus says I've got some spare change this season like you Amy, which gives me more flexibility when it comes to price Rises and falls off. I prefer to leave transfers as late as possible and that feels particularly important given a number of midweek fixtures teams have to contend with this season. So there the account's arguing for holding pretty much agree with you there. I mean pretty much and one of them was if he were Partridge, so he's obviously the right answer, isn't it? Well, here's some people that there's no favoritism that although the plot so I mean, I don't even know the guy obviously I just have to focus his I mean because you favoritism him. I don't favoritism him you love him. Everyone loves him anyway, but liquid llama llama Lounge, I make transfers early all the time, especially at the start of the season the casuals with their fucking Burberry scarves and stone Island jacket a fucking them up. I'll be bent over so many times losing our no point one Etc. As I did the right thing or wait till the press conferences now fuck that. If our way I miss out on who I want to end up with some fucking suck at don't want or having to bastardize my team in other ways. So now for me early transfer or be it might be risky. I would rather that than miss out and who I wanted. FBO tips still early team value early on his key to me at Hindu monkey. I've already used my free transfer to switch Verna to Cain and catch the prices at Clara FPL of made early transfers for a hit each week so far. I'm an aggressive player and find it more fun to try and catch price Rises to at Planet FPL. I've gone earlier this week as I bought son a new he had known nationally Rose dummy you like me. I wouldn't have gone early if I've been buying cane so think each case should be treated individually rather than a do or don't by early reality each time of transfer to protect value is important, but there are cases easy Kane where we should wait in my opinion. So it's kind of split there. Don't you think I mean both sides have got a job fair reasoning three the other night, but I mean I get that you don't want the players to increase or your place that you have got decreased because it is really fucken annoying. I mean the amount of people Held and then like Bernard Heather's they all went down in price or have obviously lost money there and in obviously you've got players. I haven't got d c o but players are him that a rising dramatically every week. She can't afford to have that. They mean my squad now, so I am very much for both reasons. Let me read up one last answer before we move on cuz I finished off a little bit. Well at the fantasy King to last season I was mr. Patient and I felt I was a little too patient this year. I've been going fast and hard but it's not fucking working either. Yeah. I mean like us like what you have done what you have done Mister Ponca is probably the right thing like Saint, you know hasn't had any like games in the international break. Obviously. He's probably going to increase due to his last game. So I do feel like he's a really good option to do early at the same time. I log I could get injured in training. You just don't like anything could happen and again he could get kind of it. So I do get why people hold but I also get why they go early. So I feel like they seem very hard answer to answer..

"Crosses 40 miles of rough waves in an hour and a half. Stone Islands rise from the water. Young's Bay Resort is the main stop. This morning. Owner Richard McKeever is sitting in his empty bait shop all morning like this, we would have 68 attractive boats waiting to launch. Sure you couldn't see the end of all. Now you see what we have? The angle's economy is built on a dozen fishing resorts. Not one of them is turning a profit. But Hannam shuttle service is helping most scrape by angle outpost usually has 40 guests. Actually, I'm at an all time high. I got three groups. No, I got to one left yesterday. I got two groups for people. They were dropped off by him at SAGES Angle resort to guests both dropped off by him. Anna Grace Prospero's trading Post. I've probably had 70 cancellations on ly about 20 guests actually came. And well, you know how they got there. For the evening's return trip. Greg Hannam is at the helm. Early in the pandemic, he realized that the angle was going to need some sort of water highway to survive. So what two more power boats each with 600 horsepower outboards. It cost him almost $150,000. He says. It's not about the money. The angle is his blood. He grew up here learning to read in the angles, one room schoolhouse. You know, I'll do whatever I can to make this work does word for everybody. It's been crazy. I'm a little nervous about the winter ice fishing season is a big deal up here. Greg Hannon would either have to plow 40 miles of the lake to make a nice road or outfit expensive track vehicles that operate on top of the snow. Either way, he says he'll make it work..

"Stone island or stone. It does not island but right. That's where we are assets. It's a pretty nice beach and you can just tell that they really enjoying themselves interacting with that and they really for whatever reason to have confidence in our group that we realized they were eyesight so something bad happen they could have helped out but was good to see them to relax jackson and they certainly enjoyed the afternoon now. I'm not sure i mean well. The kids got on the bus. Were filled with sand. I'm sure they had a busy late early evening cleaning them off including the ban but <hes> at least they got <hes> definitely a few hours <hes> that afternoon morning off to relax a little bit to themselves as well so i was gonna ah yes might not continue for them. Yeah that was real when we because we that was the second day we'd gone to the beach. The first day we went that was when that hit me how much how much impacted helping the caregivers were because we also worked with another home right <hes> called <hes> always miss that one on <hes> i remember there is girl so <hes> but <hes> <hes> in a lot of the girls that come from <hes> some rough <hes> family background neglect and abuse and and they and their caregivers didn't go to the beach with us at all they got to sunday afternoon off because we were able to step in take these girls at the beach and all of those girls didn't go to the beach and they were even closer to the meat they interacted with they interacted a little bit more because there was no physical challenges challenges that they that or limitations that they had and i remember that hitting me was like oh no the caregivers around this is this is a you know a bit. What about vacation for all the time we're going. That's that's so good so <hes> we're. We're running close on time so here's a a wanted to know what you guys. <hes> you walk away with us. I mean we could probably sit here for another hour and just relate more stories and talk about this more and we will like <hes> labor day weekend again. We're going to have a presentation. That were the church in that kind of stuff. <hes> just a plug for that case. You're thinking about taking labor day weekend off. Come to church here about more stories zegers of these folks but would you walk away with what we you. We have these experiences. We interacted with these kids. We we noticed some things. Readings will walk away with. I think for me. God was reminding me that that that he has a plan and that <hes> that he's in control in into trust in instep step out in that as as we engage with the orphanage and the many things that we could do and help their i. He revealed a future miracle to some kids. You know the healing. That's going to happen in that resource center and the the unbelievable world class care. That's gonna happen in this. <hes> very poor very disadvantaged part of the world that it's only god god would would dream that big to build a place. That's going to be that nice in that area. It doesn't make any sense in our you know <hes> economic world and in the trade the risks versus award like you only gonna help one kid like you know and but you're gonna invest all these resources and so that was a store antique away that god is doing that and he did it by some how motivating me to go on this trip but he also <hes> since i could see my piece in a larger store but he also showed me that it's good to get out of your comfort zone and to go see different places different people bowl to remind you of where you are and what you're doing you know we we use that phrase sometimes the store we find ourselves in it's helpful sometimes a step out of your story and then you come back into it and and so that was meaningful to me as well to <hes> because the the critique i i wanna come back to is this short term mission perspective and and yes i painted the walls and yes i sweated and i did these tasks that anybody could do. They had us do because we even though the cheap labor force free labor force that was there <hes> but he he showed me that it was okay to to have fun while working for him that it didn't have to be horrible and account win in with this and i talked a little about this on sunday that a win in this like pittance that i'm paying you had agreed timer and i went on vacation with family and and i would sometimes feel you'll get about spending money on my family or my friends or me or whatever but it's okay because i'm going to go do this thing in mexico but in the new mexico i haven't lodging that's that's nice warm shower and and this house in this secure neighborhood and it was nice but i felt god was reminding me that it's okay you don't have to you don't have to suffer it for me. You know like like a part of something amazing. I need you to make the step to go and do that and that and that was very encouraging to me yeah i would have to be impoverished and yet i don't have to that. I <hes> it was motivated. What i go back i was i i do think i would go back and it opened a whole new perspective for me that that there's a couple of friends and family friends that we have and i'm trying to think how do i motivate them to go with me and my family and go do this again that that i could build that rich experience audience with my friends and that we could go and serve together and have amazing <hes> local food and taste the culture in a in unreal way <hes> and do something that is meaningful to god can all at the same time that was that was that was kind of a dream that i that i feel like he kind of landed into my head of a way for me to connect with some other people <hes> and go together back and and do this again some way. It's good thanks man. No takeaways i had is we're back leader that was with our group did a devotional from sharing time with us each evening moving in the morning as well in one of the things she kept sharing was that on a mission trip typically people have mountaintop experiences in that she didn't want this this to be a mountaintop experience for us but as she would say a launching point so i thought that was a very good analogy or thought process in so for me. Personally it is thinking through right it is it it's much easier for me to focus on serving others in my own spiritual development and reading the bible and prayer life when you're taking out of your normal everyday environment align left my laptop and cell phone it at the lodging in place and didn't have any of that with me during the day sorry solely focused on that they didn't have to worry about taking a kid to soccer practice or yard or entering this email or we're getting this item done for work <hes> so it's much easier in that environment in the focus on the moment into focus on what god speaking to you so for me. I think going we through that and enjoying that experience. I need to make sure i'm writing more that margin in my life here making sure i am shutting a lot of that stuff other things out released a period of time during the day and then each week as well to make sure right. I'm looking at task in front of me or or how i can spend time i guess developing my own self saying time in the word and also spent time serving others and not always feel like i need to be distracted or needing to get to something else so that for me and the also i hope that's impactful for everyone on the on the auburn part of our group the kids and the adults as well as on and and it isn't emotional high but saying like if you enjoy it if it's a launching point like what did i like make sure each of us think about. What did we learn this week that may want. It has to do something different in the future. Let it be as she was saying a launching into watching two different ministry or something else that that you enjoy and in other ways yeah thanks yeah. I was gonna say the thing that i i seem to walk away with <hes> was <hes> was the word <hes> they occurs us to kind of do that so that we could try to break it down and <hes> and at first i thought it was just being present but the the more i got into it. It was slow. <hes> i spent some time just kind of digging into that <hes>. It was just a slow down you no because it's easy to live over a busy life. There's never lack of things to do and but sitting there with you in in that moment on the beach <hes> we were there wasn't some great theological treatise that we were doing. There was no <hes> yeah. We weren't building building a great structure. We weren't even painting a wall. It was just being present and being there and slowing down and just breathing you now now and i think some of the training that we did the trauma competent care d._c. As they called it <hes> helped helped me can recognize denies that is one of the things that we talked about was the technique of just breathing. You know different ways to get kids to breath you know to to take a deep breath calm themselves and dan and so that idea for me to just kinda take that deeper breath very physically <unk> metaphorically and say where are we what's going on where my whereas guy and where am i meeting you know that the the idea of the journey then hit hit me like in the midst of that is that you know if i don't slow down. Take a deep breath in look around that. I'm not going to makes it. I mean it'll be able to pay attention to it so very similar to what you said. Ben is you know is is just taking everything one at a time in <hes> every not allowing myself to just be present where i'm at but i've got a slowdown in order to do that and dan. This taught me that and especially working with the special needs kids because you can't run head. You can't do a bunch of you know. Let's push to the next level sorts of things you have to actually just be where they're at and meet them there and watch what god is going to do with you there and that's that was so that was so real for me and i'm looking forward to you know getting beyond the the a fast pace and just taking one thing at a time and slowly working out working my way through whatever it is. It's in front of me. You know in doing it like that cool. Thanks guys for being here. Thanks for taking the time like i said <hes> <hes> <unk> september. I i think it is yet this sunday of labor day. We're going to be <hes> showing pictures and we're. We're going to be talking about this. We'll have the kids <hes> present for that but also this is part one one of a two part series where we're going to talk to the kids because <hes> gaggle of kids with us students with us that <hes> that that did <hes> did all this long side and their perspective is going to be different than ours so the reasons we talked about doing this to ted actually brought up. We too and i love the idea you know. Let's do too so so we can get two different perspectives on what's going on and i look forward to hearing what they're gonna. Do i mean that will be next week. So if you listen to this one <hes> next week week you'll you'll hear the one about how the students <hes> their perspective was about so thanks again for being here guys. If if you like what we're doing or if this is your first time listen <hes> we would love it if you would rate us on itunes or spotify wherever you're at because that actually pushes the podcast cast up <hes> and we can get more people more people will see it and it really helps us out if you do that so if you would take just a quick second rate us. Let us know that you like us. <hes> leave a comment. Let us know you want more of these kinds of stories or if there's something else that that we can help you with more than more than willing to you do that so that's it for us. Thanks again the beating <music>..

"Two two one two three two it is it is March and universal roof and contracting. We are having our thirty one day sale. This is something that we do every March. And you know, it's a it's a way to remind people that this is really the best time of year to have that roof looked at so many people wait until either right before the hurricane season or during the hurricane season when it's actually raining. For them to think about their roof. But we try to get people to take a look at it at this time of year because it really is the best time of year to check it out and have those repairs done, you know, it is pretty amazing actually actually at a house yesterday over on store stone island berry area. People forget about. The leaks that they have. And so I ask your roof leaking. They just wanted inspection because they were going to sell their home and get there and has got storm damage all over it. That's right. I'm looking at the roof. And I said there's no way this house cannot be leaking. There's a whole their whole. It was all over. So anyway, I go. There was only two rooms in this whole house that didn't have a leak and. Anyway, but it's not leaking now because the star rating, and it's so easy to forget about this beautiful weather. There were having you forget that is leaking. But this truly is the best time to to do inspection on your roof and find out what's going on. And that's that's what we did with them. And and come to find out they had this storm damage. Was able to meet the insurance company and get the whole thing taken care of forum besides deductible, of course. But you know, you're not the expert on your roof. And and the we are Jared I've been doing this most of our whole lives, and I started the business in one thousand nine hundred seventy two Seattle Washington thirty years ago, we moved here. And we've got a great great business with amazing employees, one of the other things that I found as with all this experience that we have and how much we care about our employees what we do to make our company different than the other companies out there. When I founded the company always wanted the difference in my company be professionalism that the people who are involved in the company be professional. There's no reason that a roofer can't be a professional. Person. And that when you call a roofer, the you get as a professional if you went to see your doctor, another profession. Completely. And so I built the whole company on that premise that that we are honest and have integrity and make it a place that people want a job, but a career. So we've got a large company, we do lots and lots of business, and we wanna be your contractor. And and I can't tell you how many friends that I've developed over the years. Taken care of their home and treated it like it was my own and and and. And a company and call backs are referrals. We lead the industry in referrals and amount of jobs that we get from friends of friends. Repeat business family members of that. And I'm grateful for that. And I I'm here to tell you today part of what I was thinking about when we were coming to talk about the roofing, and this is the time of the year to do it in this thirty one day sale that we're having so call it. We're gonna come out and do a free estimate of free look at your roof. Tell you what's going on. We'll tell you the truth if you don't need a roof, or if you have a little repair, and that's all it's gonna take to fix it. We're going to tell you that too. Or if you have storm damage, we're going to tell you that too and be there to.

"A quiet and tranquil weather trend continues overnight throughout the day on Sunday. I think we will have mostly clear skies overnight except for areas where we develop some low, lying, clouds and fog, I think that will especially happen. Of course in the fog pro neighborhoods, and along the south sound that clears quickly on Sunday giving way to lots of sunshine into your Sunday. High temperatures making into the low to mid fifties. "Some employer share the cost. It's good on all transit buses link light rail sounder commuter trains and the west Seattle water taxi, in fact, on the water taxi. The orca fair is seventy five cents cheaper than if you pay with cash or by a single ticket or card is much easier. Or go online and load all the money. You think you'll need onto your orca card? Just be warned they could take one to two days for that money to show up in your orca account, money matters aside. Here's a critical reminder that a lot of new writers never consider take the bus drivers. You guys watch your liquids before you get on from home or work. In other words, you also have to plan ahead for your bladder. And once you reach your destination. Stop and check around before you leave to make sure you don't leave your belongings behind. Veteran. Rioters also say if you're a new orca card is or make sure you tap that card reader before you ride leaves or you could end up with a ticket for non-payment.
