"It's a pretty not bad. It's not bad. I think I looked back at the beginning. I listened to those things at the beginning and broadcast at the beginning. Dave Phillips says, I'll think about it when I'm in a room where there you go, buddy. Enjoy that desert that Rock Island. The room is nice. I don't know, Dave. I wasn't quite impressed with it. I guess if you stay at a resort, the weather's nice and all, but the island itself, it's fucking lava with coral that grew on top of lava. A lot of cactus. Fucking lot of cactus in Aruba. Well, cactus in the state of Arizona may be per CAPiTA. It's a lot of cactus in Aruba. But anyways, I digress. That's it. Thanks for listening. Thanks for watching. If you like it, share it. If you don't, thanks for listening this long. I'll be back next Tuesday. Like I said, maybe with Jack, maybe with Mark and Lou and episode 99, and yeah, yeah, yeah. And as I always say, doing the show for you to quote my favorite artist, Morrissey, the pleasure, the privilege is mine. I'm going to go upload this, I'm going to go hang out with my wife, doctor Vera. And you guys have a good weekend. "It's basically what kiss is. Kiss circus, right? So I don't know, he has these very high things highly of himself. Like let me read that again, despite their ongoing feud freely reiterate it during his latest drunk. Nation call that he could still be convinced to join his ex bandmates on stage at kiss his final shows at New York's Madison Square Garden. In other words, I want to be on stage with you guys. That's what he's saying. What he's saying. But it's not going to be easy. You better show me respect. Okay, Fredo. Okay, radio. All right, finish this says, he could still be convinced to join his ex bandmates on stage and kiss his final shows at New York's Madison Square Garden December. For a price, quote, money motivates me. Just like in motivates them, he said, look, if I got a quarter of a $1 million a night for the final two shows and I can make a half $1 million for playing three or four songs, 5 songs, I'd take the money. This guy has to be fucking drinking. He has to be. Like Dave Phillips king of the 45s is commented in. Talk about irrelevant with two laugh emojis. Right? This dude's saying, okay, give me a half, half million. How's this? How's this? December is only what? 6, 8 months away, right? Something? I'll fucking learn to play three songs by kissing. I'll do it for give me a $1000. Paint my face. What the fuck? Half a $1 million. I would take the money. Yeah, well. That ain't gonna happen. That ain't gonna happen. I don't see it happening. Anything can happen. Anything can happen. It could be, you know, who knows how contracts are written and maybe there's a something in there, but you know what, they would probably make a lot of money. If they got the original, well, back together for the final, even if it's the final song. They would probably a lot of people pay a lot of money to see that. They do have a following. They have a falling. Not like mind following, though. I like my little cult following. I do. I'm not in it for the money. I'm not ace freely. It cost me money. But that's okay. I don't mind. Perry dead of it says they should all go on stage two spacemen to cat people on drums. You know what? They could probably Perry, they could probably they could pull something like that off. You know? And the last ones to come on and big surprise, oh, his ace and Peter. You know, although they rerecord Beth in that kind of the piss out of Peter Chris, they rerecorded it. And those dudes, you see, you see this shit going on in bands and on this podcast I've talked numerous times with the other guys about the whole journey. Drama. That's big drama. There's some drama going on with. Mötley Crüe too. It's like these guys get older and they just kind of say fuck it. You know, they got their money, although he doesn't seem to have much money, but it just turns into a business. Turns into a business. That's why I kind of admire you get these bands like Pearl Jam. And they're great band. You can't take that away from them. You might not like them, but they're a great band. But they don't hang out with each other. When they're not like you too, they all do their own thing. They're not always around each other. So they have outlets. They have outlets. I don't know if rock bands used to do that. Maybe in the 70s, they didn't have a chance to do that because they were being promoted and pushed and put out there so much. They really didn't have an option to have a second group of friends. And you kind of, The Beatles were doing it in the end. But they just didn't like each other. That's why. So it's a business, right? It's a business. ZZ-Top when they asked Billy Gibbons. How did you last 50 years? He says, separate tour buses. That was his answer, right? Separate tour buses. Yeah. And these guys were in the mix for, you know, almost a decade heavy mix. Yes. So, shit happens. And that's that. Dave Phillips, Mick and the boys weren't Friends. It all for a while they weren't. For a while they weren't, it was a business, but that fucking machine was just that was too big. You couldn't stop that machine. Nobody wanted to stop that machine. That was they were fucking printing money. The Rolling Stones. Again, go to the bathroom, they make a $100,000. So all right, well, listen, that's all I wanted to do. Just kind of, oh, this is what my newest podcast. Probably in the next couple of weeks, I'll have it out. I think I'm going to release probably 5 episodes. And I'll do them. I'll still do them live streaming. I just now I'm so used to doing it this way. Again, you record them and then I'm tempted to go back and reduce something. I don't want to do that. Maybe I'm a lazy podcaster. I don't know. I think I'd put a little time into this, but for the most part, I don't like editing, I think, again, like Joe Rogan. Now, I'm not comparing myself to Joe Rogan. No. I would love to get a $100 million contract from somebody. It's never going to happen. Never going to happen. Music podcasts just are not mainstream. They're just not. Big mainstream podcast themes are true crime. Horror and shit like that. Scary stories. And then I forget what the third one is like business or something. I don't know. But music is kind of very niche. Anyways, yeah, so that's what I'm doing. That's the way it is. That's the way it was. That's the way it's going to be. I just made that. I'm going to think I'll use that as my new outro from my new podcast. The way it is the way it was, the way it's going to be. Like that. Like that. Don't steal it anybody. It's mine. I own that. And that's it. So milk creates a turntables. This one will all be doing that Tuesday night live. Hopefully I have baby Jack. The episode 99 and Lewin Mark, hopefully I get all three of them for episode 100, but I'll do it alone if I have to. A hundred episodes is a pretty good,

"A check, said it's ours. They said, okay. So I don't know. Might want to double check that. If you correct me if I'm wrong, they're in the show. I don't know if you do that, but let me see. So he says he maintained a multi decade solo career has been soba for nearly 20 years, God bless that, and has released more new music in that time than his old band. He then issued an ultimatum to Stanley. I'm going to make a statement to Paul Stanley right now. I'm telling you that I want a formal apology for what you said and the retraction in an apology within 7 days. Freely declared, and if I don't get that within 7 days, I'm coming back to Ed trunk show. If you'll have me Ed, and I'm going to tell some dirt that nobody knows about Paul and Jean that I've always kept to myself because I'm the kind of guy who doesn't talk about this. I like to talk about positive stuff. Huh. Freely added that he's written a 120 page manuscript, detailing, Stanley and Simmons alleged indiscretions. That's what's in the safety deposit box. That's right it is, quote, my attorney has it in a safety deposit box. Then he goes on to say, God forbid, anything happens to me. See, when people say that, I think you're making yourself a little more important than maybe you are. Like, does he really think that Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons is going to hire a hit man to take him out? We need you to go take all these freely. He's going to talk shit about us. What? Well, he's really into the, this is really a drama queen right there, I think. God forbid anything happens to me. My attorney is instructed to release it to The New York Times. Rolling Stone API everybody so they can't intimidate me with trying to hurt me or saying you better not say anything about me live on the radio because then totally screwed. Really ace, are you sure you're in AA? Are you sure you're not drinking right now? That's a little heavy, dude. That's a little heavy. Because they told the truth, their careers would be ruined. Now, that's kind of tie this back with the last article I read. There's only one thing, okay, okay, one of two things that could be that incriminating. And it would be either sex with a minor, multiple times, which or sexual assault. Because if you think about it. What else would a rockstar have hanging over the head that they wouldn't just say, I don't give a fuck? Fucking rockstar. Yeah, I smoke crack and I shoot heroin up my ass. So what? I don't even know if that's a thing, but just something kind of crazy, but you know, what else, what else could a rockstar say? Yeah, I have sex with children so what? I can't say that, right? So this, I can only think that what he has on them. And the accusation itself sometimes, whether even if it's false, it just sticks. That accusation never goes away. The R word. The R with an ape at the end of. It never goes like, you get stuck with that, whether you did it or not. And such for the people that didn't, that get stuck with that. If someone's always going to look at them and go, yeah, he aped her. You know? So, he said that careers will be ruined. Those guys aren't squeaky clean. You know how many lawsuits you know how many lawsuits, girls have had against gene? Oh. Well, he just said it then, didn't he? He just said it. Right there. He doesn't have to say anymore. He basically just confirmed what I was saying. And this is the first time I'm really reading this article. I scanned through them. I don't really, I want to have a. Organic response to these things when I'm reading them. So again, he says, do you know how many lawsuits girls have had against gene? So. What are the lawsuits are there? I mean, so what? I mean, this paternity suits, right? But it's not going to ruin somebody's somebody's career. Right? No. Not a rockstar. It's not a movie star. But if you did something nasty, that'll ruin your career. Look at Steven Tyler. See, he ran his mouth. He got comfortable. He got comfortable. Steven Tyler, he should have just kept that shit to himself. But when he said that in his memoir, that girl, that pissed that girl off, like she said. She was trying to put out there then. What the fuck? Even though he didn't say her name, she knew talking about it. Says, despite their ongoing feud, freely reiterated during his latest trunk nation call that he could still be convinced to join his ex bandmates on stage at kiss his final shows of that ain't happening. Convinced, they're going to come running back to him and say, hey, ace, we want you to come on stage with us. When he wouldn't even go on stage really with him at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, so again, he's fucking delusional this guy. Average guitar player in The Rock in The Rock category at best I never really singular singled himself out as a spectacular guitar player. He was part of a fucking carnival act. If you ask me,

"Miss Lee's attorneys issued a scathing criticism to Tyler's claims last week calling the responses, gaslighting. It is, actually, which is pretty fucking commonplace today. And people fall for it. Never have we encountered a legal defense as obnoxious and potentially dangerous. As the one that Tyler and his lawyers launched this week, attorney Jeff Anderson said statement. While Tyler said in his response that miss Lee's claims were passed the statute of limitations, she was allowed to file the suit as part of California's child victims act, which passed in 2019 and gave alleged survivors a three year look back window to file civil suits, regardless of the statute of limitations. Atkinson herself, lauded the legislation and said she hopes more states follow suit with similar rulings of their own. I think it's doing an extraordinary job at discouraging bad behavior. Well, that's a whole nother subject that's not related to music. So I won't go down that road. That's a dark road, but it's going on in this country right now. She says quote, I think a lot of folks got away with or thought they had gotten away with bad behavior. What was seeing now, it's the kind of thing that I didn't expect to see in my lifetime. I grew up with all these folks. I thought I thought of it for years as, quote, this is what you get when you're a rockstar. This is what you do when you get when you were rockstar. You do this stuff. This is one of the perks. You get young girls following you around. It's extraordinary how far we've come. Yeah. Certainly is this, that's a little bit, you know, something tells me though that this dude is going to drop 5 million on her. And just say, just go away. You know, before it gets to before it goes to court. He's going to drop 5 million on her. No doubt. Dave Phillips says, did he frequent Epstein's island? I don't know. Look on the manifest. Look on the manifest. I don't know. Let me do. Me do another article. You pull this one up. This one is. About kiss. Original members. It's from April 5th, 2023, so it's recently recent article. Ace freely says he got a fuck you, but no apology from Paul Stanley. So let's see. Ace freely said he heard from Paul Stanley shortly after demanding an apology from his former kiss bandmate last week. For all he received was a fuck you during a 5 second phone call. Okay, I don't know if this has the reason why he apologized in the article let's keep going. As promised last week, freely returned to Eddie trunk's trunk nation today to offer an update on his ongoing war of words with Stanley, the post alien Gene Simmons. The spaceman previously threatened to ask some dirt on his ex colleagues if Stanley did not apologize within a week for the disparaging remarks he made during a recent Howard Stern interview. When asked if Stanley contacted him, freely said, yes, he did. Not long after the show was over, I was blindsided by the phone call, but instead of an apology, I got a 5 second phone call which said fuck you ace, I'm not going to apologize and hung up. He wasn't even man enough to let me give him a rebuttal and explain why I'm so upset or anything like that. Freely said he has been in touch with kiss manager Doc McGee, at least three or four times since the phone call. I told Doc McGee this whole story and you know what he came back with, he said, Paul said, he never called you. The guitarist also said the screenshot of his phone call to log to phone call log to trunk to confirm the conversation took place, which trunk verified. Despite not receiving his apology, freely opted not to air any dirt on his former bandmates after all. I spoke to several good friends of mine who are God fairing people. And I go to AA and they said, alcoholics anonymous meetings that I go with, and they said, don't ever sink it, don't ever sink to their level. That's what they do. That's what they've been doing for years, why are you going to sink to their level? Freely said, so then I came to the realization that I don't even have to bring up anything that I have hidden anyway. Hidden away in my attorney's safety deposit box, Jesus. So doesn't have his own safety deposit box. Gives it to his attorney. He puts it in his safety deposit box. What the fuck could that be? That's got to be videos? Video? Audio? I can just talk about things that they've said about me in black and white. They can't connect to me after that because they said it. It's black and white. Free these current feud with his ex bandmates erupted last month when kiss appeared on the Howard Stern show. When the radio veteran asked why Stanley and Simmons refused to play alongside fellow founding members freely and Peter Chris at the band's 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, Stanley replied, because if you saw people on stage who looked like kiss, but sounded like that, maybe we should call, we should be called piss. Okay. Really responded to these comments during last week's trunk nation and parents and reiterated. Many of his points during today's follow-up call. Those guys who've been bad mouthing me since I quit the very first time in 1981, 1982. He said quote, calling me a drug addict, calling me an alcoholic. He is an AA, right? He just admitted that. Saying, I'm unemployable and undependable. The fucking rockstar, but kiss runs this shit like a corporation. That's why they got. So rich. They kept their eye on the prize. The guitarist additionally noted that he's maintained a multi decade solo career. Well, he's made some albums. I don't know, you know, I tried to career he had that one disco hit. Back in the, and I think he was still with kids. Perry dead of it just said ace gets royalty money for his spaceman get up created. He won't mess with that. Now, I don't know. Now, Perry is. A very is definitely a music guy, but I have to say, I think I don't know, I have to disagree with you because I believe that

"Because he was the guardian of this girl, he could basically have sex with her. That's it. Just on her guardian. I'm a guy, and I can have sex with her. What? What? And let's go back to the headline of the article. Steven Tyler's Tina salt defense is fucking insane. Legal experts say, yeah, you think? Do you fucking think? What the fuck? Those latter claims, the article continues. Those latter claims are drawing scrutiny and have perplexed several attorneys, I'm not an attorney, and I'm fucking perplexed. Who reviewed Tyler's answer to the suit and spoke with Rolling Stone? So one of them writes quote, I got to the immunity response, and I thought, this is fucking insane, says Susan chrome leer, who frequently litigates sexual misconduct claims as the founding attorney of cremeux PC. Crew Miller, PC. Quote, there is no such thing as immunity to a caregiver. I got here for sex abuse. Really? She's right. I mean, I agree. I don't have words to describe how crazy this is, she said. The article goes on whether or not Tyler and his team intend for the immunity claim to specifically insinuate that his position as a defendant protects him from sexual misconduct isn't clear. An attorney fatality did not respond to requests for comment. Dave ring, a Los Angeles, a Los Angeles attorney who often represents children in adults and sexual misconduct cases noted that the immunity claim itself is baffling. But he notes that a defendant giving wide ranging defensive responses is common at the beginning of a civil suit. Particularly when they are establishing the case. In other words, throw it against the wall and see what sticks. Well, this one, I would have left that fucking off the list. I definitely would have left that one off the list. Crew Miller similarly similarly acknowledges this, but she describes Tyler's response as, quote, particularly egregious. Given the way the answers could be interpreted, right? Quote, it's very sloppy and lazy to just set out this laundry list of boilerplate defenses, so many of which very clearly do not apply. Yeah. Un fucking believable. Let's see. She says, quote, I think if the plaintiff wanted to file a motion to dismiss these defenses, they would win. Yeah, definitely. Quote, the original complaint includes three claims, sexual battery, assault, and emotional distress crew Miller continues. You don't have to tie which facts correspond to which claims very cleanly. You can argue immunity could apply to intentional emotional distress, but even with that claim, there's no immunity. There's no legal basis, un baffled. Catherine Atkinson and attorney who specializes in discrimination in sexual misconduct, also says she was quote mystified by Tyler's response. She cited California's civil code, which specifically states that consent can not be a defense in a civil action if the person who committed the alleged sexual battery is an adult who is in a position of authority over the minor. Think that's probably across the board except for maybe, I don't know, Alabama. Just kidding, just kidding. Anyone in Alabama, I'm just kidding. Well, am I? Anyways. The code lists caretaker is among those with authority over miners. I would describe the response as irregular, particularly in California where the law explicitly provides the opposite claim. Why would you ever say that being a guardian is a defense when you have this unique law that says you're a you're in a position of authority, which blocks consent? Which blocks consent? No, if anything, I'd be arguing the opposite. That even though she was a minor, he was in no position of authority, so she could consent. I don't know why they're arguing this. The immunity claim understandably draws the most attention, but in some ways, it detracts from the more core issue Tyler argues about Tyler argues about regarding consent. That claim is a bit murkier with room for interpretation, but it's still unstable ring says. States have different ages for what constitutes the age of consent, but Oregon, where miss Lee lived when she met Tyler in California, where she filed the suit, both established the age of consent as 18. And as ring notes, taking miss Lee across state lines turns this into a federal question, and the federal age of consent is also 18. Even if they engaged in sexual acts in a state where that was legal, that complicates any claim he'd have to say it was consensual, he says. If he truly admitted in the book that he knew she was 16 and intentionally took her to a state where the law was 16, he still in deep trouble ring says. That's basically trafficking a minor across state lines to have sex with her. There's a little gray area, but bottom line is going to have a difficult time arguing this consensual, if that thing that this is consensual, if anything in a place where the age of consent is 18, in a place where the age of consent is 18. Jesus.

"A mess. It's a mess right now. So, you know, I can talk about this Motley crew, but this is. Not a this sits kind of disturbing now. You need colors. And Suzanne and I have a conversation. Colors in the studio. I have the lights. I have nice lighting that I set up and I learned I started live streaming a little over, maybe just about three years ago. And I learned a lot in those three years, and one of them is you background has to catch people's attention. Definitely has to catch people's attention. And because if they're going to sit and watch you, it can't just like, you get people to just have a wall behind them. That would be a pretty interesting cat to keep people's attention like that. You better have some serious shit to talk about. Me, I don't like that. I'd rather just give you something to look at. But coming up this summer, big change coming to this place, big change, big change, big change. Well, okay, not a big addition. So over my right shoulder here, I have some, I got a life size 2D from gorillas, I have canine from Martin the Martian, I got a Batman bus, I got a 1982 cocktail table version, PacMan. That's going to be gone. What's coming in its place is a life size, Iron Man, Mach 85, and a life size Spider-Man. Yeah. You're going to be right behind me right over here. And these things are beautiful. Now those of you that know they've seen it on my Facebook page a million times. I have a life size hulk, 8 and a half feet tall. It's beautiful. It's a work of art. So I'm just adding to it. A very eclectic taste when I collect so anyways, moving on. This Steven Tyler shit. I don't know if you are familiar with this. I'll end up reading this article again in my new podcast and I'm going to be doing music news, which is just going to be music. One news article, and then I'm done with it. Kind of on this what I'm doing right now. So this thing, Steven Tyler's had a great career, you know, an icon and music and couldn't do anything wrong, even though he was a drug addict drunk. The whole thing was just always Steven Tyler. Rockstar, right? Well, in the twilight of his career in the twilight of his life, actually, dudes in his 70s now? Dave Phillips king of the 45s, what's up, buddy? He's kind of going out on the wrong note. To use a music analogy, he went out in the wrong note, so the title of the article is from Rolling Stone, and this is a recent 1 April 10th, 2023. The title of the article is, Steven Tyler's Tina salt defense is fucking insane legal experts say. This shit's fucking creepy. Like, I don't look at the guy the same anymore, really. Which is kind of too bad. But so the article kicks off with three months, three months after being sued for sexual assault of a minor, the Aerosmith lead singer's responses included that the girl suing him, consented, and he had immunity as her guardian. Think of that. Like the fuck. So here we go. This is three months after first being accused of sexual assault of a minor in a lawsuit last December. Steven Tyler finally responded to the claims last week, denying all allegations and requesting for the faith for the plate, the case to be dismissed. As Rolling Stone first reported in December, Julia, alleged in her suit, the Tyler sexually assaulted and batted her in the 1970s, starting when she was 16 years old. She claimed Tyler convinced her mother to grant him guardianship over her and that they were together for about three years. She referenced Tyler's own 2011 memoir. In which he wrote that he quote almost took a teen bride and that the girl's parents signed a paper over for me to have custody, so I wouldn't get arrested if I took her out of state. Tyler also wrote that quote, she was 16, she knew how to nasty and there wasn't a hair on it. Let that sink in for a second. Think about that. Fucking creepy. Yeah, that's it. He wrote that, actually. In his memoir the suit further alleges that Tyler convinced Missy to get an abortion when she was only 17. After she was hospitalized, following an apartment fire. Writing about the experience, decades later, opened her up to quote involuntary infamy, miss Lee alleged. The Arab Smith singer responded last week with two dozen affirmative defenses. From denying that plaintiff, Julia misery suffered any damages to alleging that miss Lee quote failed to mitigate any alleged damages herself prior to filing suit. He didn't deny that he'd had sex with miss Lee. And most notably, Tyler alleged in his response that miss Lee, who was 16 while he was 25 at the time of the allegations. Consented to the sexual relationship

"He says we were really pretty political as a band, rather than close in wigs and stuff. I'd rather talk about politics and I know the others do too because it's more important. What's going on in the world, right? It does seem like we've gone back to how things were in the sun. Nothing but static. And I have to agree with and this was back in 2018, so. Here you go. That's a couple of backstories on B-52 songs. What other articles I have in? Only 20 minutes in. Let's see. I have my handy dandy list in my notes. So there's been a couple of things going on. It's Mötley Crüe thing. Smartly crew thing. So this is like four articles that are all related. See. So this is the first article. Beautiful studio. This, so Suzanne just messaged in beautiful studio. Yeah. This studio, believe it or not, is a mess. You don't see what's going on over here. It's not a small studio. But all down here. And all up there. I had this thing, so. The podcast, the regular podcast listen, and the people that watch the live stream will know that from time to time over the last couple of months, I have a tendency to cut out. I would get dropped from my own live stream. And mock and Lou would like to start talking about opera, right? And it was driving me crazy. My network was just shitting the bed. It was just sitting in the bed. And I couldn't figure out why, called AT&T, and I'm like, what's going on? They're like, well, you speeds are good. Everything's good. That I'll touch on that in a little more into the story. So recently, I have these Google nests, right? Google nests are actually the routers, right? It's a router and then there's I had like three others throughout the house. And they mesh with each other and they give you a strong Wi-Fi signal. And Suzanne said, was it me? No, no. That was this time it wasn't your fault she's in. Suzanne has been, she's a live stream killer, but I think I have your kryptonite now, Suzanne, and I'll get to that in a minute. I think I have the kryptonite. So. I have AT&T come over the other day. And the guy's like, well, yeah, you're at your max capacity with an Ethernet, because I went, I went hard and I'd linked right to the computer with Ethernet. But we can only show so much. So when I stop and talk to Vera bought this house, we're in an association, right? Which can have your opinions on it. I happen to be in a pretty good one, I think. Every house has, when you pay your association fees, you get cable. And this is little company called hot wire. I had DirecTV at the time. We had AT&T Internet. We have AT&T phones. So we were kind of that bundled family, right? It was always adequate. But recently, it's just hit the fan with my live streams. And it's driving me crazy because I'm kind of a perfectionist in that sense. It really bugs me when shit doesn't go right. And I've had Suzanne cause total havoc on one of my other live streams. She sends this energy through the airwaves and it's fucking hilarious. And it's absolutely, it doesn't matter. I could have the perfect night going. And all of a sudden, Suzanne would call it, but she's blessed with great energy. That's the thing, right? This isn't bad energy. This is like too much energy. And my shit, you know, my phone would get fucked up or by connection would start to come in and out. It's like, what are you doing to me, girl? But I got her kryptonite. I got the kryptonite. So anyways, the AT&T guy. So I had this, I had this box built up as I look up. It's a podcast. The live streamers can see, I'm looking up at my ceiling, about 45° to my left. I have shelves. And I have this box built where I could put all these plugs and watch because I hate fucking, I hate clutter. I hate it. So there were these white boxes in there and they're like for the cable for the house. Free cable. But again, I had DirecTV. We never really needed it. Because of the NFL ticket. But anyways, so the guy looks in, I had taken a picture to see what was in there. It's been a long time since. I don't know how many years. 5 years, 6 years? So the guy says, hey, you know that box there. He's not a bot anymore. No, no, he's AI. Eric has moved into the AI world. What's up, my friend? There he's low energy. So he says, I said, that comes with the house. He goes, who is it? I said it's a hot wire, a fission. It's a subsidiary of hot wire. And he goes, yo, man. That's fiber optic shit right there. I said, what? He says, yeah, this is fiber optic shit. AT&T only gives you copper, which is the cable. I said, are you fucking kidding me? Is no, man. This is like two days ago. He goes, no, man. If you want to. You want to eat the neck and shit? That's what you want to do with. Your speed's going to double it. You got some power there. You're limited with us. Now he says, I tell you to leave AT&T now. It's not what I'm saying. But I'm just saying. So that said everything. So he hooked me up. I plugged in. I called the hot wire. They came out yesterday. They hooked that shit up. I got the blazing now. Fast. My shit will not drop anymore. No, no, no. So I am hardwired into some serious side, fiber optic cable, and then I went out today and got my update because my network was fucking up on me too. So I went out today and got the updated Google nests. I got two of them because I my House is spread out. I got two of them that covers 4400 ft². Of Wi-Fi power. My house ain't 4400 ft². I wish it was. I think it's like 20 600, maybe. So that's plenty. That's plenty. Yeah? So I'm back in, I'm back in action, my shit ain't gonna no one's gonna make fun of me anymore. Anyways, so it's getting back to what Suzanne said, I got, I wish I could put the camera up there. I got fucking, why is this okay, I'll show you all the. This was part of the box. I ripped that shit off the wall. As I hold up a broken piece of wood, I ripped that shit down, and all this

"It was me. So let me start again. Welcome to the podcast. I'm not going to edit this, by the way. As you probably already know, if you're a regular listener, welcome to the podcast. Or I should say thank you, Amanda for that wonderful introduction. Welcome to the podcast. I'm on a lot of coffee right now. A lot of bustelo instant espresso. You know, the name of it, so I'm not going to say it. Streaming live right now over Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, D live, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And again, it's a rare Friday night episode, a pop up. I'm alone and flying solo tonight. Yeah, which is okay, which is okay. I don't mind, and I still go live. I don't think I could do this podcast. Just regular recording. I think it loses loses an edge. Somehow, I like doing it live, it keeps you, keeps you busy. And keep you on your toes, actually. You do these podcasts pre recorded and yeah. I don't know. I just don't dig it. I like the live thing. In the moment, unedited, and Robert Kirkman just messaged, then damn, you finally doing a show. Yeah, yeah. It's been a little bit, but we'll be doing it on Tuesday night or I'll be doing it on Tuesday night. I don't know who's going to be with me. This upcoming Tuesday night, usually it's Wednesday night because I'm heading out to the motherland, Boston. Nice place to visit. I love it. But I will never live there again. Anyways, so yeah, here we go. What I'm going to do, I'm going to kind of take this time to maybe introduce my newest podcast. I'm going to do another music podcast. I'm going to do, I hate that. You know, you hear yourself talk and I've been doing this for three years and I've made a conscious effort to correct my grammar, instead of saying Ghana. I try to say going to, but every once in a while, it sleeps. See? Sneaks in. When I try to talk properly, it's all mangled. But I'm trying. I'm trying to do the right thing. So going to do another podcast is going to be a short form podcast. From time to time on this podcast, I've broken into some music news. Some of my episodes are all music, and just, you know, it's kind of a whole thing in itself. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to do I'm starting a podcast called music news. That's the name of it. Music news. And what I'll do is like the same thing I do on this podcast. Seth I'll pick an article, read it, comment, comment on it, like I do on this. And then that'll be it. So these episodes are going to probably be 15 minutes long, maybe. You know, quick hits, short form. As opposed to these that I do with Jack or blue and Mark, a Lewin mock weed through three hours now, two to three hours. Jackson hour and some change. So this second podcast music news is not going to be. Two hours. It's not even going to be one hour. I don't even want it to be a half hour. But a half hour might be the max that I do, depending on the article. That I choose. So with that said tonight, I don't know how long this one's going to be. This is a milk crates and turn tails podcast. So it can be as long as I want it to be. So I thought I'd do tonight. I just kind of kick it off since I'm flying solo. I'll just start Tapping into, I have a whole library of articles that I dug up that they come across my screen, and I find them interesting. And when I do, I kind of save them this, now some of them might be a little old, but it doesn't really matter. I try to make sure that they're not relevant to the current time. This one I have. This article right here. The B-52s, the stories behind the hit songs. This article was written in 2018, but it's really kind of a timeless article, right? Oddly enough, it came up on came across my screen recently. So an article like this, like you said, it's timeless, it doesn't matter when it was written. Just a little interesting blurbs. So let's see what they have to say. So the article, again, called the B-52s story, the stories behind the hit songs. It's been more than 40 years since a group of see, this is where you know this is a new writer. It's a new they're not journalists. I don't call them journalists today. It's just writers. Journalism is dead. My opinion, but I'm pretty sure I'm right. And I could tell it was written by a writer today a current writer. Just by how it's worded. So it says it's been more than 40 years since a group of sexually fluid, new wave kooks and nonconformists found each other in a Chinese restaurant in Athens, Georgia, and formed a band. See? Nobody wrote like that back in the day. Nobody cared that they were sexually fluid. Nobody even knew. Really? That anyone in the B-52s was gay. All right, some people knew, probably. But the mainstream, it was never talked about. It didn't matter. But they have to make an issue out of it. Anyways, so it says through love, loss, guitarist Ricky Wilson died of aids related complications back in 1985, he's the brother of Cindy Wilson in the band, she's the other half of the female duo, Kate Pearson, Cindy Wilson with French Schneider on vocals. And just kind of a side note stuff. Keith Strickland was the guitarist. I mean, he was the drummer. And after Ricky Wilson died, it was a pretty interesting transition because Keith Strickland moved from drums to the league guitar, but Ricky Wilson was a really good guitar player. He just didn't stick around long enough to get really the accolades that he probably deserved. He was very unique. He had his very he had his own sound. That's for sure. And you can hear the difference in the early B-52s music. Then you do with their later music. Although Keith Strickland does an adequate job. He's a good guitar player. I don't know if they're songs or that complicated. But it works. They didn't bring anything new into the band. They kind of got it, kept it tight. And they actually got a little tighter.

That's W I x DOT COM and stay tuned after the show to here are you can take advantage of wick special offer for talking tech listeners. So what if there was an APP that would let you hear music the way you really should be hearing it at a live concert arena sports. He's well is called Matteo. I've got mark rucks Jason Pierre. He's just about to launch this APP into the Staples Center in Los Angeles and it's in a few other places will mark tell everybody what you've got. I walk can the door at staples center rock band A. B. or C. is playing. I opened up the APP and then what it'll say join mixed halo so we use the Wi fi I chip in your phone so that you can log onto a network but the network that you log onto is not connected to the Internet. It's a local network that we build in the venue so we hang effectively a bunch of wireless antennas around the venue. we plug a server into the soundboard and then you can choose and it depends on the band in how sophisticated indicated they wanna be you can choose the mix that you wanna hear so from Italica you could listen lars or james or kirk or anyone else in the band and you'd get this bias mix. If if you're in Vegas you can listen to the Steven Tyler mix or the band mix or you know some bands will reproduce the board mix which effectively is what you hear out of the PA a system but as a clean untouched mixed directly terriers are obviously you're putting your your Budzyn. You're putting your ear buds in and so once you log onto the Wifi network we effectively turn Wi fi in radio okay so the obvious question is you're sitting at the concerts about to start you want this mix. What am I paying for sort? it's free to consumers so we are we are working. on a couple different models one is we sell the hardware to the venue and they will do one of two things either while there's there's basically four problems that an operator wants to solve one is great fan experience so if you know the only tickets available available to a show and you know whatever your local venue is is a is kind of a crappy. you know nosebleed seats. You might not go because you're like the sound stinks. I have a bad sight line so a lot of people just want to sell those incremental seats the lawns at outdoor amphitheaters suffer from that problem. You're up in a lawn. You probably don't have good sound you might go for other reasons to have a picnic and just to be outside so number one is fan experience and lots of operators literally just want to create a high fan experience variance so they can sell more tickets that would be the KPI if they want to actually break even on the investment or start to monetize it in a way that offsets it It's pretty easy to imagine imagine a sponsor that comes in and sponsors the you know the live the clean livestream in any venue if you're in somebody's ears for two and a half hours alive event you can make the media mouth work you could also do things like seldom merchandise seldom tickets to the next show you can do all sorts of kind in-app ecommerce concessions Sion's etc so that's that's Kinda the second phase you want to actually make money or break even then you you look at sponsorship as a way to do it and you look at ecommerce in the APP I think with music what we're trying to do is create kind of an HD experience for your ears and if you download the APP and do the simple demo that's in the APP you'll see what you're listening into as an audience member to show actually sounds a lot worse than it does if you could listen to a mix halo mix and it's a little bit like Hd. We used to watch sports on TV fifteen years ago when it was fine. TV's got bigger and flatter and a look better and then all of a sudden hd came out in Jefferson buys at eighty one and watch the game in hd or not. You look look at me like that's not really a question. It's the same thing for music so for music it really is clarity. HD you know we're solving a problem that people don't know that that they have yet but once you go through this you'll realize that it's real all you have to do is listen to wish you were here by incubus and it's right there in the it sounds great yeah thanks banks and it's super breezy and you know a lot of people say we need a better demo and I think people that do really complicated demos or kind of hiding the problem a little bit that's very simple demo and it comes across pretty pretty clear I think with sports different paradigms altogether so fifty percent of people's experience watching sports at home is audio so if you're watching in a football game or a baseball game there somewhere between six and ten minutes of action that takes three hours to unwind so a lot of what gets you through one of those games is the caller commentary sports like boxing and others have a whole bunch of back story about the people that you lose when you go to the match each mark Robson Halo thanks so much feeling in. "There's some controversy that continues to drama around the. Miss America. Organization miss Denver's Kayla Klein is actually giving up her crown to show her support. For Bisa merica Karen who says she's getting bullied by the. Miss America organization Kayla says that she can't embrace a title for an organization whose national leadership is in blatant violation of her own personal. Code, of ethics now. Miss America claims she's been told that she's quote dot important enough to. Do big interviews she's being silenced because the majority of the press time has obviously been reserved, for Gretchen Carlson Who came over from Fox News she's the new Miss America champ person and the board of directors miss Denver's already submitted. Her, letter of resignation. So she hopes stepping down may trigger change at the top but a. Lot of the former miss America's have signed separate letters saying that Gretchen Carlson needs to go Why. Would they director think that she the champ Ersan thinks that she is what the people would like to hear from rather than this America herself and it's always been one of the things that Miss America the title. Gets you is all this. Press time for different causes that you, believe in Andorra finding for and yet the. Miss Denver has not gone any of them nothing which is. Why he probably didn't even know her name because Gretchen Carlson has been doing all the different press conferences I mean it's just amazing how people get into things and what do you think Gretchen Carlson, might have thought before. She took this job that. She was going to do this to me from everything I've heard, from the ex-miss America's, which go back quite. A number of years nobody agrees. With the fact that she's taking over. All the press conferences and, not letting Miss America do any of them so that's. Why she I don't think I've ever heard of a Miss America turning into resignation and or a lot of former miss America's writing a letter to. The board of directors and saying this is not right this is what's going on you'll remember the Gretchen cost of is one stepped in and said no more bathing. Suits no more talent contests I forgot what else she pokes he's totally changing the Miss America pageant I think personally that women Justice busters man enjoyed the evening gowns and the baby Shoots I, mean it used to, be years ago they. Come out in one piece bathing. Suits but now the two piece bathing. Suits but nothing that's been disrespectful to any of the gross nothing that you know On the not walking out in thong bathing suits. Or anything like that I don't know that there's probably a rule against that no matter what but I mean this is just gone too far or? Is it a time that we just say goodbye to the Miss America pageant because some are saying which is what Gretchen Carlson has said. It belittles
