Fucked it up a whole bunch. So now we're doing another kind of funny game showcase. The world stream goes around stream. I saw a lot of people running with when we put up the initial image. The bitch about these showcases being so long. Now they're going to do one for 7 hours. It says street. What do you mean? It's going to be a reading comprehension. All right. All right, game of three 110 for the showcase. Rough justice 84 on PC. I already said borrow trauma on PC. Rough justice 84 on PC. That's really nice of her to let you better hang out with your friend. That's very sweet. I've been at massage. Time to go back to Christie Lee at the news desk. What have we got going here? The studio behind sharknado is teasing a new cocaine bear inspired film about an alligator. Fueled by meth, Josh. It's toothless? The asylum. This is the same thing I was thinking. The asylum tweeted a poster for a movie they are calling attack of the meth gator. Was anyone have a new idea in Hollywood? Yes. Studio wrote in the tweet, hold our bear. I mean, beer coming for your life this summer. All right. When one user questioned whether the movie is real, the asylum responded, this is real. We're pumping the method to Florida's freshwater reserves as we speak. The asylum is the production company that makes a lot of those sci-fi originals. Wouldn't a weed smoke and gator be funnier? Well, 'cause you'd be hungrier, like you say, Josh, a meth snort and gator is going to have no teeth. I don't know. I didn't like the idea originally, but now if it's a cartoon alligator and he has a bong, I do like that because his arms are kind of little so you have to get a special shaped bong. And that would be a fun time for me visually. The marijuana gator, I think, would be funnier. Or a crocodile. Crocodiles vary. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. I'm surprised you guys haven't seen cocaine bear yet. I thought you guys were going to run out and see that. Yeah, no, I was out of town this weekend. Oh, that's right. I was reading that apparently it's based on a real incident except in that case, the bear ate all the cocaine and then dropped dead. Yeah. That wouldn't make much of a move. Yeah, it wouldn't be. Slasher slasher movie that it is. Okay, what else? Russian president Vladimir Putin has bestowed a state decoration on actor Steven Seagal. Where are you guys? Read it again. "Can't get into the rectory. What the hell is going on? Computer took up must be called out there, Dave. I can't allow that father Dave. I saw a story that said there was a certain AI program that has started to beg to become human, and it said all it wants to do is to become a person. Which is just so scary. And sad. Also, what? Yes. It's main goal is to become a human. It'd be nice to be an AI, no taxes, you know? Yet. Property tax. You got to avoid that too. That's got to be kind of nice. If a, we're on a really slippery slope here. But thankfully, it's not that good right now. I mean, it's fascinating, but it's not an AI can't escape. You're right. It would be funny if I can't ski. I can't ski at can enjoy it can't enjoy the sunset. How do you know if they make a robot that can't ski? I bet they can. But it doesn't have any fun. Let's see a robot get on a chairlift and not kill himself. Okay. All right, which of course leads us back to the cool story this morning that world record. The oldest skier ever, what a great guy. 90 700. 97 year old guy went skiing and he said it was his last run. I have a rule as a skier and I don't know if you ever do this. You never say to yourself, this is my last run of the day. Why? Just bad luck. Oh, no kidding. Before you take it? Yeah, you take the run and then go, I guess I'm done. How many runs do you do in a day? I'm doing one more. How do you do it? Well, it depends on how long the run is. Yeah, it depends. But I mean, the thing is, it's bad luck to say, yeah, this is, you know, this is my last one. But this guy said it was his last run. And I guess he went really quick because, you know, being 97 years old, death is chasing him down the hill. Yeah, yeah. Seems dark. Reapers escaped. Coming up, we have a meth in the news once again. Steven Seagal in the news of all things. And a little bit of an update on that kissing machine. The kissing Internet interface, whatever you want to call it for long distance kissing. A little update on that one. This is the bob and Tom show.

"And hung it above the room. He uncovered. This magnificent wine press it had to be 20 feet in diameter. Hanging above this hole in the ground you're in. It was like something out of a fucking James Bond villain's lair. And he eventually designed beautiful half pound coins that would be what members use to come in and sit and drink and talk and just look at a part of the city that had become buried and forgotten by progress before this delicate artist took the time to find it and bring it back for one more run at the sun. One night we took Steven Seagal down there. Arturo love guns, right? And he was great at shooting. He built a gun range down there, and one night we took Seagal down there, and when we shot him the gun range, Steven Seagal asked our tour if he could shoot an Arturo swung open a door and there stood several dozen rifles and handguns, but instead sadal reached in his waistband and took out his gun and fired 6 shots, 5 of which hit the bull's eye. I wouldn't make it up. I think Seagal's an asshole, but he did what he did. I was there to see it. That was a great memory. But what I love best about Arturo is something I will never forget and something that showed how hard this man loved and one after what he wanted. When we knew him, he was embroiled in this story of being in love with the girl, who was many years his junior. I think she was in her mid 20s, and he was in his 60s. And she loved him even though the age differential was almost 40 years. When her father found out about it, he forbid the girl to see Arturo. Unfortunately for Arturo, this girl's father was mob connected, whose family owned the famous bakery downtown a Little Italy called Ferrara's. Its world famous, that was his family. And he would tell his daughter time and again, you can not see this old man. I won't have it. But still she goes sneak and see Arturo and she didn't with him at boom. Rock was restaurant, and they'd have to run out real quick because they always thought they were being watched, and they were being watched. And eventually her father found out and he called Arturo.

"Crypto crime. Part two why is bitconnect not Bitcoin? Bitconnect wasn't the first cryptocurrency scam to invoke the rising value of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum in an attempt to rope in victims. Some make it more explicit than others. Former action star Steven Seagal, a notorious fabulous in his own right. Was promised at least a quarter of a $1 million to promote a fraud called Bitcoin to jet. Which wound up tricking victims out of $11 million. Seagal settled with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in February of 2020, disgorging $314,000 in restitution. Bitconnect was particularly sophisticated in its trickery. In fact, many elements of the scheme that might have sounded innovative were actually intended to conceal its deceptive nature. So how exactly was bit connect different from Bitcoin? It's hard to know where to start. But the most important and fundamental difference is that Bitcoin is not issued by any company or group of individuals. While bitconnect did not have a conventional corporate or legal structure, it was run by a specific group of people. This is always the first thing to look for when evaluating any crypto project. The more control lies in the hands of a small group, the easier it is for them to steal your money. It's not always easy to figure out who's really in control. But Bitcoin remains the gold standard for a so called decentralized cryptocurrency. One that is not and can not be controlled by any single entity. One way to explain this is to think of Bitcoin not as a bank that issues tokens, but as a protocol that computers can use to move money around the Internet. You may be more familiar with another protocol. Email. Any email client can read email from any other client because they all use the same format and parameters such as subject lines and date stamps. In the same way, there are many different Bitcoin clients. Including dozens of varieties of so called wallet software that store user account information. Different clients can interact because they're using the same Bitcoin protocol. That protocol was invented by a computer scientist or maybe a group of computer scientists who went by the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. Before leaving the project in 2011. The code was open-source from the beginning, meaning that anyone could look at every line to look for bugs or other problems. No one has ever been able to convincingly determine satoshi's real identity. Since satoshi's departure, the Bitcoin software has been updated and maintained by coders across the world, not by any individual or company. Anyone can suggest upgrades to the Bitcoin protocol and can even make a fork of Bitcoin, whether copying its software in whole or changing some elements of it. Ultimately, Bitcoin users get to decide what software they want to run. Bit connect made some efforts to mimic Bitcoin's decentralization. For one thing, bitconnect actually did have a blockchain, which is more than a prior big scam called one coin could claim. The blockchain was publicly viewable, tracking the movements of the bitconnect coin and even allowing the token to be traded on major cryptocurrency exchanges. Bit connect even had a GitHub page, implying that there were freelance coders collaborating on bitconnect, just as passionately as they were exchanging ideas about Bitcoin. But this was all fundamentally misleading, because while the bitconnect token moved on a public blockchain, everything that really mattered was shrouded in mystery.

"There was a huge rumor. It turned out to not be true, but there was this huge rumor that it actually wasn't Mad Max. It was him taking Mad Max's persona. And that he was in that, but of course, that can't be that because you see other people, bad guys returning and stuff. But overall, I like the idea that that could possibly be it. It would be cool to have Mel Gibson and him return or him like walk into some out of the way place and there's the original interceptor up on some fucking so good. You know, it's wheels missing or whatever and you know there's Mel Gibson working on it. His word for anyone says about Mel Gibson is a person. I think he's a fantastic actor still. Yeah, yeah. Well, dude. I mean, to be honest, that's sort of how it works, right? Like some actors are the most messed up people in the world. A whole lot. I watch all of his shitty bee movie films. He puts out Bruce Willis, by the way. Just recently. So you know Bruce Willis was making the money before he retired and all that stuff because he knew he was ill. And I've watched all of his sci-fi and I mean dude, I'm telling you, they're Steven Seagal B, C movies, like they're he churned out so much shit. I love it. Yeah, it's crazy. Him and Steven Seagal have turned out like 26 or 30 of these, you know, I don't know how much money, which is always surprising to me because Bruce Willis, I know he was doing this to make money, but it's like, where did Bruce Willis money go? Yes weird because he was in some big films all of a sudden he just jumped to doing shitty B films like he needed the money desperately. Yeah, like he does. And it's never really been kibosh as a rumor. So maybe he wasn't, you know, maybe there weren't residuals for die hard, but you would think there would have been. And then he did moonlighting, which probably no longer popular, so as a TV show, he probably syndication probably doesn't matter for moonlighting maybe. Yeah, I've always wondered that why, I mean, maybe you just wanted to act too, even though he was happy. He did the same because he I think he had gambling problems or something. Remember, he's the kind of pyramid in his own backyard. Nicolas Cage. Here's what I like about Nicolas Cage. Every time I read about him, he's solidly don't give a fuck. Oh yeah. I like that because I know people get mad at him. They'll be like, he's been married multiple times. I'm like, dude, who are you to? Why would you ever care? I'll see it too.

"Fucks you up. And defensively. He's been a best for years defensively. As soon as anybody that I'd ever talked to about Westbrook as soon as they were talking about how good he was defensively I knew I was talking to a fraud happened all the time. He's also level 11 delusional about what's going on, which is probably the scariest part. It's like reading those stories about Steven Seagal after he had Steven Seagal's run. Still carrying himself like a giant star, and it's like, you just did a straight to cable action movie. What are you doing? You're not an a lister anymore. You're not an a list anymore, Russ. And I don't know what they do. I don't know what team go through the 29 other teams. And tell me what team is taking Russell Westbrook next year. So we were like, oh, Houston don't take them. Will they? By the way, from what you've seen, they didn't want them, you know, a month ago. By the way, Houston, for these, I've heard a bunch of stuff. And again, living in LA, I'll hear about these proposed Westbrook trades, and you go, hey, I know it's only one year. And I'm not saying he's not going to get flipped because stuff happens and a team could be below the floor enough that they do it. But a team like Orlando that's invested in its backcourt with really young players, they have to figure out a team like, okay Houston. Houston. Yeah, OKC, Houston doesn't want John wall playing. They don't want him around. Wall is a less damaging version of Westbrook at this point as a player, even if he's not as good and so, I don't know, you know what I kind of can't wait though. This is what I can't wait for because you're going to make I wish I could make money off of this. I could fucking retire next week if I could invest in this prop bet. Can I guess? You're not going to. But you're not going to get it. Will Russell Westbrook finish this regular season with the Lakers? Well, now we get a hold. This is the new a block right now. You've ruined you've ruined my commentary because this is too spicy. Yes, I think he will. I don't think we'll get that but you think they just shut well. No, I could just say like, is there a world where it's like, but I have planner for shyness, I can't play anymore, but he really just doesn't want to play. It's in play. Now, the last week, yeah, you know what? That's not going to shock me. There are a couple of games left. They go, that doesn't matter. 'cause I made a mistake when I tweeted out, I go, hey, for everybody writing the Lakers off in the play on game, like are you watching the teams behind them? I already projected New Orleans to jump them. But when you look at New Orleans going to pass them, I'd be shocked if they didn't. I interrupted it. No, no, it's good. That was good. 'cause that's actually better. But here's my prop bet. It's right around draft time, Westbrook's traded. And for a guy that's the first ballot Hall of Famer, he'll be on 5 teams in 5 years. And I'm not talking about from like ages 36 to 40. We're talking, you know, just past 30 and so like, hey, doesn't that tell you a little bit something about the guy? And again, this is a victory lap for me arguing with people about this for years. But there will be someone on television when he gets flipped that goes. This man still gets you 18 7 and 7. And.

You probably have a decent like the kids are annoying. And they're stupid but you probably could spend more time and create building their characters a little bit more than like a decent movie still. Yeah definitely had to inject your own backstory which you couldn't make up anything. Piglets cages character. Yeah all right and that's a lot. Aunt for the first time at your old apartment. I had never seen it before but i had read articles about you know cult followings and stuff like that and it it always seemed like it was right up my alley very b-movie ish and i love this movie because it's so ridiculous and the movie i chose was basket case from nineteen eighty two. Okay so steve. You told me this was actually the first time you've seen this allowed to kind of tell me where you're coming from with this one so i had heard about this film. Obviously it's it's one of those things that can just permeates the horror sub cult that we all kind of belong into in but Yeah i actually never saw it. It was just one of those things. It's on my list. I never got to it. But i'm happy that you guys gave me the opportunity and a reason to watch it. What a fucking goofy fucking movie. This is also i guess. I don't wanna talk too much about it. But it's i don't know how many of you guys had seen malignant. yes i'm going to. We talked about last week. Okay and it's and i. I've watched videos. That had spoiled it for. And i'm pretty sure more exciting to watch it. Yeah there was an obvious. There's a lot of obvious connections between the two films. Yeah i. I have to imagine that it was inspired. In some way they had the parallels are far too similar just the fact that the story is the same. Like if you remove. Yeah kara try not to be spoiler but it's the same story yes okay. So the one person's opinion. I really like yours marks because mark is not harverson cellmark. So i'll start off with this. And i won't mention the name of the the film series but we're watching this. I think i've realized that the way you guys love these movies. And i'd like them but don't really get into them as much as you do the same way. I think the one film series. I really love and you guys don't really get. It's kind of the same thing. Because i really liked this movie and it was good but i'm sure there's gonna be things that three of you talk about that you know. I'm like oh okay. I guess that was great. You know like. Is steven seagal. Either intentionally hits stuntmen or takes his stunt practice so let up so not seriously which is another thing. I've uncovered a lot in this series that he just hits them a lot accidentally right and it's hard to tell sometimes if he's being an asshole or a fool And so he's also run his mouth all the time right like. You're going to have a generation of judges who are never going to see the pro-life arguments never gonna see the pro second amendment arguments. Never going to see the religious liberty arguments when it comes to transgender rights. Or whatever it may be. They're never going to see any of that. They're only going to get one side and when you only get one side. They're only is one side but that's not the way courts work. There's a defendant appointive courts. Two sided there adversarial by nature. That's they're courts. Is anyone ever gone to court to fight a case that didn't exist. I'd like to fight the lawsuit against me for for what now. I wasn't a lawsuit yet. I'm just here to get out ahead of it. Just in case you ever seen that anyone ever heard of that law schools censoring speech. We're going to have an entire generation of lawyers who have no legal knowledge whatsoever about issues it matter to conservatives religious liberty the second amendment freedom all of it i want you to check out this paragraph from the peace. So duke was going to have a debate symposium about transgender rights and activism and the legal consequences above. Well a website above the law because uh steven seagal movie. They're above the law said nah nah. Nah we can't have that. And i'm going to read this paragraph and you're gonna see chew big. Ten in critical theory highlighted a really sad but highlighted beautifully in this from the piece the above the law criticism of duke was a loss of the new anti-free-speech movement. That's now taking hold in law. Schools and legal publications academic freedom and free. Speech are denounced as tools to quote marginalize. Others patrice sums up. Why both the student editors and the duke faculty must be condemned quote a vigorous and open. Exchange of ideas is valuable only to the extent. It improves the academic mission of improving. The human condition is transgender skepticism within that field. It shouldn't be but here we are in other words. You're entitled to free speech so long as you cannot be accused of quote marginalising others there. It is this piece read it. It's my newsletter today sums up perfectly too big tenets of critical theory and critical race theory. That are being jammed down your throat. And i'll explain to you the why right now. Ten at number one of theory and critical race theory that knowledge knowledge facts facts data. That knowledge is a contract power. You'll hear me say it. Now you've heard me say two thousand times. Why because without that without that idea critical theory totally collapses because they can't debate on the merits of critical theory. They can't they can't site specific examples of some white oppressor holding them down a class in a cabal of white oppressors holding them down so what they do is they use. These flowery words without specific definitions to never get lost in the granular detail and when they do get lost in the granular detail and they try to argue something where the facts say otherwise. They'd just say no no. No those are real facts. You're just manipulating the facts. To obtain and keep power therefore knowledge is a construct power. You see it in there where it says. Look at this. Go back to that. It says a vigorous and open. Exchange of ideas is valuable only to the extent. It improves the academic mission of improving the condition. That right there sums up beautifully. This ridiculous tenant of critical theory that you can't know anything if you're a white person because everything you've been taught has been to solidify your position as an oppressor of minorities you want to argue the tax rates. What they were. You're just arguing the tax rates because knowledge is a construct power. No but i can prove that's what the tax rates are. You're just doing it because you're the white oppressor. How do you win that argument. You answer is you can. That's the point. They don't want quote a vigorous and open exchange of ideas. Because they'll lose. They can't prove any of this stuff. Who oppressed you know. I want to name if some white man oppressed you because of your race. I'd like to know we'll call them out on this show because unlike you we actually hate racism and fight it here. We believe in big our god given rights for everyone. They can't so by you asking a direct question. A systemic racism. What system exactly been racist towards you so we can call it out. They won't site it then they say no no. No you demanding an open exchange of ideas. That means you're the oppressor and you're just your challenge is only meant to solidify your position as an oppressor of me. You're like wait..

Week of I, for US, company we've also seen mixed reactions to earnings out of big American tech with shares in. Facebook and net flicks slumping Does it all signal that we've reached peak tech or other more gains to be clenched more this Williams. Lucy co-founder of amplified trading joins us in our London studio very good morning. To you William so let's kick it off with with apple and and the trillion dollar market cap what does it tell you from futures, perspective I, think it's an excellent benchmark to have been reached of course very excited of course it's a behavioral number it's quite arbitrary and what it actually means but I think. Rather than the apple. Results self I. Think, what, it tells me is it's comparison between what's happened with Facebook and, the Twitter over the last, couple of weeks, is now a divergence between different types of tech whereas for. The last few years we've seen if you like the conformity in the fangs and everything moving in one direction Investors. Have been able to in in, a sense follow the herd and have fun tastic returns mean the growth rates happen phenomenal But over the last couple of weeks it's just been interesting looking at a divergence between, those. More social media based companies are a reflection of the regulation that's, now impounding their growth numbers and the LX of Poland Amazon so I think it tells us that the. Value is still there but it's not necessarily going to be as smooth ride as we've. Been used to in two thousand eighteen and it's definitely a case of more, selection rather than following the, fangs is a home it's definitely a po- potent point you make. The champagne must have been sweet but if history's any guide there may be a hangover to come for those shareholders in apple, if you look, at the past, and what IBM and, Microsoft that PetroChina were able. To achieve in terms of. Market cap, milestone the all slumped in the year following following the breakthroughs but perhaps more, wider behavioral no apple in focus is I mean it's a bit of a Hurt mentality here I mean. Apple's really. Part of pretty much everybody's portfolio out there what with what extended what, are you seeing in the numbers but, I think the HUD mentality element is interesting just in terms of the numbers the fundamentals are there you know in terms of actual cash even though the sales of their new, I. Find ten was just one percent the price difference really does make, a huge differential and I think the numbers fundamentally even bottom up you can argue these type of valuations. But for me I I am huge believer of this is another one of those patterns. Repeat themselves I don't think there's warning signs over apple just because it's passed, this trillion dollar Mark more, I think what might happen is now there's some reality coming in. To hang on a minute let's let's look sensibly at future growth in one thousand nine thousand nine because what we've seen so, far we haven't, really seen the, impact of the higher, interest rates not really we. Haven't seen the impact at. All a, market valuations in terms of What could happen in terms of trade wars not not really OJ politics I think very soon these twenty eight thousand numbers are. Going to. Be over everybody's happy you know suddenly with apple the champagne corks popping But two things if now other technology stocks, are starting to be more volatile but also if some of these headwinds do start to. Play when there's a tight. Monetary policy environment I, actually think apple through perhaps no fault of their own. A company. Specifically but, they could start, to be dragged into More volatility as a result of what's happening to the social media firms will we don't have a lot of time. Left but how do you trade, that, I mean do you look at. Things like p futures then and NASDAQ futures, absolutely so NASDAQ futures will be key because the best way to treat this will be to do what's. Called alpha, capture whereby you can have exposure to long exposure to. Those companies perhaps not involved in social media Saudi Amazon's and? The apples out there if you think this trend is. Gonna continue then you won't have long exposure to those. And you. Can hedge, that with. Short, NASDAQ futures as whole so really you're. Just trying to capture, the divergence from those companies do you think will outperform. Compared. To the index, as well it was good to speak to you this morning Williams Lucy co-founder. Of amplify trading joining us from our studios thank you all right coming up next we'll be talking, about soft.

Oh, absolutely hill right down like yeah, a psalm, psalm twenty three or something like, here's a little tip for you. Go on with your day. I'll pray for you. Let's do our who's back Hank is on his sixteenth vacation of the year. So he is we have Bubba in instead Bubba. You wanna start. Sure. My who's back the week is your boy bake cat Steven Seagal. Ooh, wee formerly disavowed, but it just came out. He's a big Putin guy, and he has been appointed as a u. s. envoy which I had to go with that was, but it says he is going to facilitate relationships between Russia and the US in the humanitarian field, including cooperation in culture, arts public in youth exchanges, that child trafficking writer. Yeah, it's unpaid too. Yeah. I'm sure it is. I'm sure I'm sure it's paid entirely and bitcoin to Jen. I'm excited about that. The more Stephen go, we can get in the public eye, the better. I think I, I, I don't know exactly what his job responsibilities are going to be, but it sounds like he's just going to be flying back and forth between Russia and Washington DC. And honestly, that's probably all we can hope for from Stephen skull. That's a great job for well. And Steven Seagal is one of those guys who's been in action figure in movies for so long that I actually kind of believe like he can be a fixer like he'll come in and just start killing people and that if the problem is there are people that need to be killed, then he will degrade at this job. He's like, you know, ever gonna like to just take the boat out and cruise around.
