"To overcome their obstacles there. I'm going under i agree. This team stinks great. Great phrasing stephen. I just don't feel. I rushed out there. There see a lot of rushed out there. They have some guys like you said especially in the defensive line the defense they could possibly throw it back and other than that i. Just don't i just don't like where they're at. And i think it's one of the most interesting falls from grace from having the most talented roster and football four years ago to now And you know. I think there's just there's only lessons to be learned there and and i think that's different podcast and what happened to the eagles but it is. There's a lot of work to do Football team eight point. Five steven lewis. I'm going. I'm going over and i'm not like the ryan fitzpatrick believer by any means compared to like the rest of the internet. But i just look at the defense defense blind in particular. And i think the improvements to the secondary and i don't. I don't see how this defense doesn't finish top five and top five in division. I think there's enough if the offense is just okay and compare them to what they were last year with. Dwayne haskins at quarterback starting we one. I think they're going to be okay. Danny yeah i'm i'm going over also like exactly what stephen said. It's the defense gives them an incredible foundation. I think it's going to be one of the best defense is in the. Nfl and their offense. I think could take a pretty significant jump. I mean you're going from really like one of the least dynamic offenses in the nfl last year in terms of like the ability to push the ball downfield. you know terry maclaurin. I think is a very good receive. I think he could be a guy that takes jump this year with with ryan fitzpatrick thrown to mike. Fitzpatrick has always been much more aggressive. Throw the ball. Downfield like is average target. Hold i think that curtis samuel You know maybe not a star. But he's he's definitely gives them something that they didn't have it like the number two spot last year receiver I think we could see a jump from antonio gifts into to get more involved in the passing game. He's explosive player overall. Just i think they're really solid and i think is long as as long as it's patrick doesn't sort of just meltdown and i mean we've seen him throw a lot like we've seen her note that we've seen some pretty bad like picks over his career but i think as long as he doesn't just push like too hard in sort of meltdown or whatever. Just do what. He does Then i think this'll be a pretty good team. So i'm going over. I remember being oppressed conference fears ago. Someone said you know ryan. You've you've thrown five receptions and gave me excuse me no six so at least got a sense of humor about it. I'm i see an listen. Offense is always more consistent than defense. Don't don't tweet at me. But i see the washington defense in the front seven almost in the same way. I see the cowboys offense. Because we know they're going to be good and we know the investments that they've made no there was a floor because so then it comes down to how well the other side of the ball can do. And i'm of the theory that actually there's more evidence to the washington football team. Offense can be good than the cowboys defense. It's gonna be good. And so i. I'm i'm going over here. I think it's going to be really close. Just because of the quarterback situation on infrastructure. I really closer. Wins this division but i didn't football team and dallas are both over All right nfc south. This is a a mess of a division. We're going to be all over the map here because there's just so many changes and so many states that have all. These franchises earns different places. We're so the atlanta falcons seven point. Five steven i'm gonna go over okay. And that's even after the. Julio jones trade. I think the falcons are the team that we expect the cowboys to be in terms of bounce back ability like i feel like the last two years. People have kind of assumed that. It's been the defense holding back in the offense with matt. Ryan and julio jones and ridley has been good at look at the roster but the defense by has been better the last two years they offense. That's how bad their cutter was a calling plays and they've replaced him with maybe one of the best play callers in the league. I it's hard to say after two years. But i think arthur smith could have that type of effect even without julio jones with ridley and pits now and then the defense team piece coming in. He was the architect of that. Titans defense i went on that playoff run and i think he had a big role in that you bring a man. I know the debt chart doesn't look good on that side of the ball. But he's a guy that i think he's xs and os are good enough to make up for that and their defense could be like sixteenth in the league. That's like around what it was last year. So if the offense is fine and the defensive team can win eight games. Who would you rather have if you're if you're gm. Arthur smith is your coach in a vacuum. Would you rather have for one season. The twenty twenty one season would rather have matt ryan tannehill. Oh man I think i would still take matt ryan ryan tannehill perfect to that offense because he is not afraid to take a sack he will stand in the pocket. Hold the ball until the defense is bearing down on them and throw it downfield and i think you need that type of guy in that play action heavy type of offense but i think matt ryan can do that too. I don't think matt ryan afraid pocket and we saw what he was in this type of offense back in two thousand sixteen with kyle shanahan. So i think. I'll take ryan right now but i'm prepared to be wrong for all prepared to be wrong. But he welcome into fell. Show danny same question ryan tannehill. I think i lean. I think eileen ryan but it's close and i think that really that says a lot. That's that's like taking a push you said ryan. Yeah i know. I thought about that going ryan and the first thing i thought of two is what how mass line elite he was in that shanahan offense and You know like. I think it'll be like a similarly style thing here this this season so he could really have a good season. I think obviously i would have felt better about it before they traded. Julio like i before. They traded julio i was like ryan matt ryan has a chance to actually go like scorched earth this this year. It's gonna be really really good. But now i'm just like a little bit worried about. Tannehill does have the advantage. He's a little more mobile. He's a little more athletic more dynamic. He can escape the pressure things. Like that. like matt ryan i think is More dependent on the offensive line and things like that. But i don't know it. It's cost matt riot right. Hills numbers the last few years honestly since he took over as starter in. Tennessee is like top three top four. And you can't say the same about about riot But matt ryan's been doing it longer. So i guess like how do you weigh that. You know what i mean. So i don't know. I still lean matt ryan. I think tan hills now on that discussion and we're probably still not high enough on tannehill makes sense so good fence sitting by me either over under on seven.

"Back we've got a couple more things and good bad pop here. We'll talk about these quickly. Cinnamon toast distrupt on showtime joe. I you got a chance to watch this show. Yeah i watched the first episode of jake cinnamon toast. Yes was stephanie. Yeah all right. Yeah produced by the team of team. Duplex brothers production. So the duplex brothers cinema eight wildly experimental new series from an eclectic group of indie filmmakers who've re edited and re scored footage from public domain films and overdubbed them with performances of contemporary actors. To tell new wholly original stories. The varied voice overcast includes. Fred armisen. Allison brie nicole buyer colman. Domingo khloe fishermen jay johnson. Chris maloney mega mulally. Nick offerman aubrey plaza. Christina ricci dan. Stevens lewis tucson. And more and yeah. I watched the first episode. And i watched part of the second episode and same. I liked it enough. But i'm a big fan of like mystery. Science fifty thousand this is basically just like actors like talking over different characters in old public domain films. And it's kind of funny. It wasn't laugh out loud funny for me. The second episode. I thought was the first episode was much better than the second the second i couldn't even get through. It was so terrible. But i'll give it a i'll give it a low taste it. It was all right. Maybe it gets better as you go along. But i'd rather watch any episode of mystery science theater three thousand over this concept but not my favorite. What did you think jake. The do plus brothers were over to me this week. I hated this as well Kathi subjective This may be someone else's cup of tea but yeah i did not a single time during the first episode and i thought you know. I think it's an anthology series. Let me check out the next episode and see it. Maybe the different boy voice cast different footage doesn't anything for me and i got like seven minutes into that episode and now it's like yeah the the show is not for me Yeah this is the worst thing. I watched this week for sure. I hated this. Think i would. I would agree with that. What did you say stuff at a. Yeah tofte it was rough. I've never seen mystery science theater. But i do. I'm a big fan of louis line. And i most prefer they do the small skit. On whose line. Where they they dub over like like improv over it and that's and that's not even my favorite whose lines get that. That's better than this. And they do it for ten seconds for maybe a couple of minutes. And that's way too long in that format i could not get. I didn't think it was funny. I thought it was. It seemed like a lazy attempt to try and making something honey. Like i dunno. I didn't like it..

"Paying the bill today for direct medical supplies in and treatment you're paying the bill for others. I mean so. Yeah Yeah I I actually think that number might be low the thirty percent. I think there's people today there's been in Libya half of their money in total cost on healthcare. Yeah absolutely so I wanNA give just my tips and then you give your tips for anybody who wants to test or try a transition to Akito Diet and then I want to talk about the the money and the food quality etcetera because I think with your experience helpful I want to talk about with prepping as well as we Wrap up in about a little bit number one My advice it's based upon having dieted in many ways and Done many different versions of diets. My advice to anybody who is interested in trying get is following number one do a little bit of research obviously about the Keita Diet or any diet that you're going to try but at the end of the day it's fairly simple. You're you're going to eat meat vegetables and you're going to try to eat some sources of fat A and this is going to be heavy on fats. You won't understand the ratios as well. My experiences variances band. That Akito Diet is one of the best diets transition to because of your ability to enjoy luxurious food and what I hip bound. Is that if your body is addicted to carbohydrate as you transition out of running on sugar and your entire metabolism going to sugar to running on fat make sure that you feel satiated. What I do is I try to make sure I have lots of good food? Take lots of good fat heavy cream with berries. It's better and I don't try to worry about the way I just try to feel really appreciated really full even if I'm probably overeating then once I make the transition from running on carbohydrate to actually actually being in Ketosis and burning keystones for fuel then I can drop pullback on those things without feeling like I'm missing out one of the great side benefit it's of a low carbohydrate diet is once you're in keep does this. What I have found is your appetite fairly easily moderate and it makes it fairly easy to practice actus? Compressed eating window or perhaps called intermittent fasting where you eat instead of eating three times per day or seven small meals per day you eat One one or two times per day And I find it very easy to just simply go with Get up in the morning. I drink some black coffee and had my first meal around noon. Have my second around the clock and that practice in and of itself also moderate Calorie so I think the most important thing is the transition period. Making sure that you have juries food food. Lots of fat and then once that transition is done then you can move to pulling off on the Calorie and it's a lot easier to do. That's my kind of getting adding started by Jack. What's yours it's going to sound different but it's very similar actually because I'm in a focus a little bit more on calories etc but it's the same thing? It's the same with different Batman. Words of Tommy Chong So for about a week to ten days I say do exactly what you said. which is you You keep your carbs under twenty? Eat as much as you want it until somebody's afraid you eat the sake if that's what you feel. Do you like doing because during this time. You're going to be making your body exactly what you say you're GONNA make it. Shift from Burning Glucose Burning ketone bodies. And that's a big Ch- you're asking a lot. It's like taking somebody on heroin and going where heroin for you there. You can have all all of this like you know oranges. You have to live on oranges instead of heroin. I mean that's that's what you're doing your body so getting through that and this is one of the biggest biggest my biggest gripes with Atkins Dr. Atkins didn't tell anybody about half of the people that do this are going to feel like. They're having a ten Hendaye version of the worst hangover. You can imagine that some people are just going to be like. That's fine other people it's GonNa hit you like a ton of bricks. They call it kito flu so if you got to eat consider that your Methadone ripe for getting off the mess and you eat through. If it's ten days of its fourteen days. Whatever and you're going to lose wait in that time you in for some of you are really over what you're going to lose a lot of weight because your body's going to purge water you most people that are extremely overweight? Wait used because their stomach. You think it's going to be like a bowl full of jelly like Santa Claus but when you got that stomach that's really really hard at big fat heart stomach. There's so much. Fluid had an extra bile into body and Sushi chain this year to start purging it. Now what's GonNa come with. That is number one. You've got to drink like a fish. And then some and you gotta drink water and if you WANNA drink sparkling water some that's fine. But dopey Drinkin- huge amounts of like artificially sweetened crap water and drink drink and you're gonna a p your brains out and then you're not gonna WanNA drink again. I'm sorry you gotTa get through this period of time so drink like Razi during this time and you need to be supplementing magnesium and sodium so salt. Your food is the best way to do. The the the sodium of good quality absorbable magnesium potassium. Doesn't hurt here either as a supplement. Because you're GONNA be purging those three minerals from your body with all of this water loss. I work with a guy named Dr Steven Lewis. And he's had a cycle Green wisdom health. He uses blood testing. He's a chiropractor but he uses blood testing. It's way more than my doctor is ever ordered to who evaluate your nutrient levels and supplement. You and I didn't do that because I was doing this. They just SORTA Kinda came together and I think a lot of the things I avoided was because every time time I would find out what people are asking me like. I'm having this problem. I know it was like well supplement this and I look at my supplements ago. I'm on that so it was like everything I needed was already in there so look to supplements for some of the things that you're gonna be deficient in because now some of them. You already deficient us going to become critically obvious. The other thing you have to watch out for is then you start burning fat and like you said you've been you've been overweight your whole life. I've been overweight for a lot of my life. So that means a fax. What you're burning today might have been there for fifteen years? We store toxins in our fat. What's the old saying it's GonNa get worse before it gets better so you start burning those fat cells else and taxes are the sort of your body for ever all of a sudden are moving through your bloodstream to be eliminated? We have to get through that but it happens to support support. People know this. I started getting Zits. I'm almost fifty. I started getting Zits. Not like like breaking out on my face like ones it like at that spot. You're back you can't can't reach. It was almost like a little boil. And there'd be nothing there and then the next morning there's a big giant ball Zik there or maybe on my bicep or something and it would become one at a time that went on for about three weeks so be expected so you get a rash. I got a really light rash. My wife Lucretia Poison Ivy and this is the body purging all those toxins so I think it's important that we we have people ready for that because people said well I went like he'll keep on. I felt like Shit. You know what when it imagine if you were. We're getting off of heroin and you went to your doctor you were. You were an alcoholic. Can you went to your doctor and you. You said you felt bad and he said would you do. I quit drinking beer. And you say we'll guy says well how much various drink a case of day for the past ten years. He says we'll go have a beer. You'll feel better. You get a new doctor right so we have to be prepared for this this shift in this change once you get through that ten days though when you get over to where the body is working in running on fat ketone bodies I think that is the point. Maybe it's fourteen days as maybe it's twenty one days and somewhere in that reasonable period. You've got a rain in the calories and I think eventually you will self moderate like every living being but so many people say it doesn't work for them and then I say semi a picture of everything you ate today. And they're eating seven thousand calories three hundred pounds reading seven two thousand calories one human fat you know how. Many how many calories or someone human fat Josh. Thirty five hundred thirty five hundred calories. How am I GONNA get my body ready to burn thirty five hundred calories of fat one? I'm shocking with four thousand calories. They have additional fat. You might not you buddy to stop gaining gaining weight at that point. But it's GonNa be very hard to lose weight so pull the calories back. I use a matt. A an APP called the Keto Diet App. I run a caloric deficit. Most of the time of about fifteen to twenty percent. A lot of people say calories. Don't count it's only an estimate. It is only an estimate. But it's an estimate. I I do a lot of things. With estimates I used to make a living as an estimator right so estimates are a valid way like there has to be some level of portion control so get the portions Chins than under control and then kind of work your way through it and don't be afraid to use Google or Youtube University and I would tell you like also be careful with that. There's some really idiots out there that say some things. Don't make any sense Tom to lower Ken Berry and this couple called Kito connect those three channels does to me and I can. I want to be clear I could still tell you specific things each of them said Bromley. You are absolutely verifiably wrong with this claim. But they're right ninety five percent of the time and so ninety five percents a good estimate. If you can estimate ninety five percent you could be a hell of a salesman in the construction industry and you'll do very well so you're ninety five percent of the way there most of the time with those guys so like if you checked up and you're like why do I have this problem album and you search youtube for that and you find one of those three people talking about it. You'll you'll probably do really well. I also have a whole playlist list and you can just look up Jack. Low carb journey on Google. You'll find a playlist and I go through this whole period and I have one particular Rep's owed their that that to make this short shorts we can. It's exactly how I manage my diet. It's about thirty minutes and is exactly what I do so I would tell people to kind of tune into that. Ah I added it to the notes. Let's talk about money. One of the challenges with personal finance is in general one of the standard pieces of advice for those of us who try try to save money on. Our grocery budget is eat less meat. Eat more rice and beans You can buy huge amounts of grain extremely inexpensively whereas finding huge amounts of meat extremely inexpensively is very challenging. So what are your thoughts in terms of managing the cost Austin having an appropriate budget while also eating in a ketogenic manner.

I'm not going to move to New Hampshire. It's not in the cards for me and honestly if we did leave Texas there's other places we'd probably go. Oh I don't see myself living in the frozen north ever again. But I can't why they picked New Hampshire because of the size of the government relative to the population. They've made amazing strives. Love at twenty thousand people who have either moved or pledged to move to New Hampshire to drag New Hampshire kicking screaming into the Free State in the nation and and we do derive a benefit when any state in our republic does something did you prove that it can be done with the world ending. Because that's what everybody. Oh my God what's going to happen. That type missing you give the citizens of other states something to point to. Will they did this here. And I think terrible happened. I get to play devil's advocate today and Jack around with Dr Lewis here and not having no everything. He's GonNa talk about today but I think he'll get through that four. We do though tell people a little bit about yourself. Dr Louis like your background and how you doing what you're doing. What makes your approach to health? Nutrition may be different than other people in his face. Well I hung up on the Jack around with doctor Louis X Y. You can't hurt me Jack what we do. I'm a contractor by by training I've always loved the nutritional part of it. I just see a world. That's pretty unhealthy. And so jen. It's Kinda geared ourselves toward nutritional supplementation which which coincides with what you teach about. GMO's and you know how to build a soul and it's just because we have such bad crops and toward nutrient density so this works very well. bloodwork doesn't tell us everything we need to know. It sure does take out a lot out of the gas work and then we use pharmaceutical grade nutritional supplements to shore up the weaknesses. We live work and I mean just can you maybe say a little bit more before we go on here about the importance of the lab work because to me. I've always found it interesting when you have a practitioner of any kind. I don't care if they're a an MD.. I don't care if they are you know up. In the northwest we have actual entities that are certified an herbalist a certified nutritionist. The chiropractor with somebody starts putting people onto large numbers of supplements Specifically with macro micronutrients and things minerals with no idea what they're deficient and that's always been kind of odd to me and then when I met you you have a way different approach where you actually know what somebody might be deficient initiative kind of talk about that real quick when l.. Yeah we could even do more blood work. That goes more into the minerals but I tell people they believe you just struggling a good multi-mineral or a good multivitamin slash multi-mineral you pretty much have it covered. And then you can tell more by the patterns you know like What are the patterns between your different types of white blood cell? So there's a lot goes into it in I get the more I realized. I don't know some study Indian horror. Learning or learning curve is just incredible. Thrill on the lab. You know people get lab but and unless things are items on that are obviously flag. They're generally not. Dan is a problem and I guess for us. The differences were looking at the parameters is because as America gets sick or battery as a nation those parameters from getting larger a word falls into normal range and we're looking for optimal ranges on the lab so products we use help shore up the weaknesses. We see in the lab work and then make you feel better which is usually a variety of products. I think Dr Lewis said that. It's like when your doctor looks at your apps for your minerals and vitamins and stuff. If they even look normal today sedan is the average. so that's everybody standing in the light at the State Fair waiting on a fried Turkey lake and that's the average of that and that makes a lot of sense that maybe the average isn't enough the other things like it's. I've been researching myself. I've learned things like you're probably never gonNA see anybody with a really low. Magnesium level in a test because if the magnesium ACM level in the blood goes low you like die so the body will literally harvest bag needs the amount of your bones. Or what have you but like you.

"Those those are big demands to combat scurvy because assuming people trying to find goals in desert per se, and so they needed a demand to cope with always been yards was soon replaced with citrus groves. Before every was covered citrus. Groves we kind of tie in some ways kind of moving contracts into the citrus, for example, like the firing blanks who've got Jin Selena blowing such as pineapple lemon juice. Kind of tongue in chapter one chapter two an older drinks have goes to them. And one of my favorites in the menus are junior. This is another term for Yuzu lemon. And I didn't realize toes hanging out of just going to the Marcus and looking at the seasonal produce. She was like this much use those groom in California. Most people have no idea. I didn't know that an also fascinated by that. So then we thought would be great to do uses sake Mesko, orange blossom criminal, and then we can sherbert whiskers on the rim of the gloss. See your next section is called the young Turks. So who were they what happened was the wine citrus era, but then the kind of the demand for citrus kind of wins. And all these massive warehouses per left, desolate and empty I soon after didn't Tonneins are very nice neighborhoods. It was pretty rough. But love budding artists locally on moving to the city. We're trying to find a place could stay mobile suitcases exhibit. There are works. The first twelve the neutered were known as the young Turks. So they're kind of writers artists painters or all types of arts. They're kind of a group of friends the kind of the first lists on paper to to move into the area. So describe it drink from that. That section. Yes. So then wanted to kind of talk about this era when saw becoming known as the districts like I believe just and myself were artists learn forms, gum, cuisine, and drinks myself. So we kind of based on more famous artists, for example, the turtles Barbara Georgia O'Keefe so middle name, but when the Idaho's Bose. Kind of cluber Sonoma minds with Perkin for the Gibson Bush. Basically I wanted to kind of tighten my heritage as well. So it kind of wants to emperor of me being an author. Steven Lewis, no inspired by Perkin because I'm how Skoda's house I've Korean. Gen. Kimchi to create some kind of a mixed race kind of Gibson solic-, sir. We've been made the kimchi and Harrison Piccola afterwards to get the same elements as you would from the pickled onion. So wonderful, really really interesting. And finally, we have sipped our way to the modern era that we're in now tell me about the mama Sita Moulay to current times four we're kind of looking at. Catacombs friends. So I think.
