"I didn't know what we were going to end with Happy news, but it looks as if things are going to work out, right? Yeah, we'll see you mean Mercedes last night during the Sox game. Had posted Instagram that he was stepping away from baseball socks, Skipper Tony the roots after the Sox game talked about, you know he'd reach out to Mercedes and that he thinks he still has a big league career ahead. That he had been sent down to the minors was doing really well early in the season. He was named the American League Rookie of the month in April. When he was hitting over 400. He was on an absolute tear Huge left to that line up after that, he really slumped. And it was time for him to be sent down earlier this month, and that was the case. And he decided you know what he had. Had enough and he was walking away and a change of attitude. A change of mindset over the last 24 hours. Mercedes back with his Charlotte Knights teammates down in Tripoli is not in the lineup tonight. Okay, and so a couple of things he was we talked about him earlier this year in that he was one of those players that investors What part of bought futures on right? I believe so. Steve? Yes, right Southern, So people prepaid for him in exchange for a share of his income. In subsequent years. They gave the money up front. I would imagine that would be a little difficult to swallow. If you were someone who had invested in a guy. And have him just walk away. Yeah, I'm not exactly sure how that would work with guarantees or anything like that. But if you're expecting a return on your investment, you'd hope he'd continue to play. The other thing I thought about was Tommy La Stella. Isn't this kind of what? Tommy La Stella did? Yeah, That's what I thought of last night too. When I got the news, it was 2016, the Cubs utility man. Obviously not completely similar situations. Last L. A is a versatile player can play a lot of positions had been in the league already for quite some time, was sent down during the season to Triple A and he said, I'm not going to triple A. He just kind of went AWOL. He just went home. And, um, after a little bit of convincing and talking to him, eventually did head out to the Triple a affiliate for the Cubs, and then did rejoin them. I think it was like in the middle of August for the final stretch of the season. And it was on the playoff roster as well. Remember, the rosters do expand in August? Not by just by a couple roster spots in Major League baseball. So you know, that was exactly it's funny Brother because that's exactly what I thought of when I saw the situation unfolding last night and the loss tell a story. I don't know if it's over now, but he then goes to Is it the angels somewhere out west and became had a had a couple of great seasons. Yeah, yeah, I mean, he's you know, he's had a salad career. He's a great hitter. Um so we'll see. I you know. Right. After that, you're means stuff happened. I just kind of was like he's going to be back. You know, You fought your way that you turned into a 28 year old rookie finally getting a taste of the majors. He has a huge break out month to his debut in the majors. You know, He's one of the great stories in baseball. And then all of a sudden you can't figure it out at the plate. Pitchers figured out opposing teams figured him out and he gets sent down and like that, like you can we can all In some ways, we understanding right? Like the guy got a taste of the show of Major League baseball. And then just like that, he sent back down to the minors. That's got to be a lot mentally. I would think so. And so you're right. I'm just so glad that And you know, he was called out early hit that home run in that lopsided game, So not only was he getting a lot of attention for doing well, he was a subject that sort of media firestorm for a few days. So good. I'm glad that someone got to him and it looks like he's going to stick around. Yeah. Blackhawks released their schedule. Today. We've got scheduled Steve Wednesday, October 13th as the season opener at Colorado first three games on the road at Colorado, followed by New Jersey in Pittsburgh. Two nights later, they play Vancouver Sunday, October 24th early in the season, Steve, We get a Blackhawks Detroit White Wings matchup so And then Wednesday, October 27th wraps up that home stand the season runs to Friday, April 29th, which will be a road game at Buffalo, and I asked you why They only played three games in February. Because my calendar my clock is off. Next year is an Olympic Year. Winter Olympics. Correct yet the league committing to that break, which will be let me pull the schedule back up here? Yeah, they're going to play February 2nd. Then they're not back at until February. 25th. It is You know, we're going straight from the summer Olympics to the Winter Olympics. Steve, that's well, You know what? That's the way it should be. That's way when I was a kid. It was my friend. Yeah, Yeah, you're an Olympic year. They both were in the same year every four years. Did you not know that? I did not know that? Oh, yeah. Until Maybe 80 or I'm not sure when that's that's slipped, but 70 to 76. It was winter summer, all in the same year. I will say that the commissioner Gary Bateman, said that the, uh The schedule will include a break what we're talking about, but he says he doesn't doesn't believe there will be an update on the Olympics. By the time we released, the schedule will do what we need to do under these circumstances to release the schedule. If things change will do what we need what needs to be done? What he's talking about. There is if players will actually be heading to Beijing right for the winter and one other Hawks note. Our friend Jo Brand was named pre and post Yes. Jo Brand's been with the station since 2013 working his way up doing some updates on the weekends producing over the years hosting duties. But he will be our Blackhawks pregame and postgame host here on WGN for the entire season, will also host Blackhawks Live, which is our weekly Blackhawks show during the seasons. I was I was on a zoom piano recital, and I'm sitting there and I said I'd better put his tie on or something. I just didn't get. Sure enough. I don't like when they can see you in the zoom, you know, don't so Hey, there are a few guys caught on the zoom Not doing very well. Yeah, So I'm looking and watching. I said, Oh, my gosh, But I love it. I live it. And But being a father and in the entertainment business, working as much as you do, it's gotta be tough. But did you did you always take Jenny Rose with you? Yeah, you know, So if anything, you should say that Let me tell you a joke. I remember doing this movie with Adam Sandler. That's my boy in between takes God bless this man. He has two little girls were very small. Then this is like 10 years ago, and he would go Right to the ocean. Right there. You play almost three. 100 days a year, maybe more sometimes, And everybody wants you being the spectacular live performer that you are, but, yeah, well, you know the zoom thing, if it one more time. Could you just zoom it? You just assuming no. Get me there live. So finally, we're opening up a little bit. Thank God, but I used to take Joey. I take my big boy. Take my other kids. I put Michael who plays the guitar now at 18. Take them all with me is the best way to do it, You know, anyway, and and it does. And it doesn't. I don't think affect them hopefully doesn't affect them. Matter of fact, they could introduce them to a whole, You know, occupation for themselves. Tony, can I tell you something? Shall I really believe my daughter Jenny now is 30 my son John? Yes. Is 51 I have to call fly say that. But you know as adults and I can see what being on the road how it has affected their lives in a positive way, because they understand the social contact context with people. Yeah, they are able to be open. They understand what travel is They've been to different countries have been a different states have been a different backgrounds. And this my kids grew up. I think for the better because they were with me all the time. Yeah, I agree. I agree. Especially with all that's out there all that they're taught. Uh, I used the word taught loosely like for my kids are young and you say Wait, wait. Whoa, whoa, whoa. And everything so political now stave left familiar. Multi important in Italian is the most important thing, you know, And that's what you and Franny have done. Hey, Tony. I just wanted to check in, say, happy Father's day, but I got to tell you as an aside we're talking Earlier and we feature Frank Sinatra at the Golden Nugget downtown in Vegas. You were around when he was doing though, Steve Wynn commercials. I was with him. Uh, this is Grant was with him. I was right behind the camera. Oh, my I'm not kidding you. Steve could tell you if you stuck. You stop and talk. Steve. Wednesday's Who was behind the camera going. Holy macro. I'm watching. I'm watching Sinatra do a towel come around towels, towels and You know what was great about Frank Sinatra. And you know this because he loved you. And by the way, a big wink for him every Sunday to you every Sunday. I guarantee you, he's smiling up. Hope so many, Joe. Thank you. Because you know you keep that legacy alive in a way. That's very, very vibrant and alive. Jokers you knew him and loved him. Yeah. That whole, But wait, continue. Are you going to say is that you're gonna stay on looking behind the camera looking at behind together and I'm realizing That Sinatra was doing a major move in Vegas, Joe because downtown was dying. Yes, downtown was not doing well. The strip was killing it. Now, Steve Wynn goes and and with Michael Gone, I think it is with Michael Gone, who now owns the South Point They went and they bought the Golden Nugget. What do they do? I think they made it. Kind of like a deal where he participated in percentage on that hotel. So he was doing a great deal for himself. Wow. But when he got down there, Yeah, everyone realized Wait a minute. Frank Sinatra is downtown. Huge. Yeah, Yeah, that was huge. And I think that if it wasn't for that move that Steve made And if it was that move that Frank. Said Yes to Yeah. I don't know if downtown would have survived to become what it is today. Yeah, agree because it was off the big Cesar's contract when he was there, and to make that move. Downtown was legendary. Oh, but you know what? When we go out, and I wanted to say media is We? We create the Sundays with Sinatra because it's like people forget people want to show up. People want to even young folks want to listen. They want to come to the shows. They want to upscale little bit when you're on stage and I watch you. You're so positive. The positive energy people need that now. Tony Orlando, They need it and they love it, man. And that's what we try to do. Every Sunday night I played. I played some of the monologues that the old man did on stage. Why? Because people don't hear that nowadays. They don't hear it. It's either a tracker from one thing to the other thing, and the old man would go. He would talk about anything from the stage. You know. You know, Joe, I just found it. I'll send it to you. Is it not a very good recording of it? But it was a night that I went to see. Frank and Lake Tahoe. Oh, and I went with Tommy was sorter. Billy Martin. Oh, man you got you want to know what a big Mac feels like? I was a big Mac that night and I'm sitting. I'm sitting at their at Harry's here and Frank. I had never met him in a big way like I was down there with them. And at the nugget, but never hung with him. He was like I knew. Hey, Mr Sinatra. Thank call me, friend stopping kid. You know, he was And so now I'm going to be backstage with two guys He loved because he loved basement. So he loved disorder, Loveless order, and he loved Billy Martin and respected Billy too. So there I am, and all of a sudden he goes I want to take a toast to Akai out there in the audience who dresses much like me, not its long haired, hippie stuff. But this guy goes out on stage this young kid and he wears a tuxedo. I just want to tell him something. If you're gonna wear the tuxedo, Tony Orlando, you wear one with a red hanky, not a white one, and I looked up. I looked up at him, he said. If we just stand up and take about this is the truth. Don't sweat While I stood up, he says, my my young friend Tony Orlando, and I stood up and after the applause was over, I never sat down. I was in such shock would still standing and Billy Martin and endless sort of both grabbed my protest. Sit out, will you? That is great, Tony. I love you. Bed will be less love you Saturday. They said God blessed for being the great dad. Happy Father's Day, Tony. Happy father and send my love to Mama will to Franny, too. I love you, man. Your family. Good bye. I love you too, Joe continued success. Thank you. Amazing job. Thank you. Tony. Love you, Tony Orlando, Red Shit. Ramsey, Mazda Sundays with Sinatra with your biscuit Ball and 77 W. ABC. This.

"Nothing wrong with that especially if you're betting against me. All right so we talked about, but the point I was making about craps. If you just say so compare the you know. Take ten acts on the free. So, don't pass for yards Gimme another simple advice. You can give to some that would have a better. You know lower hold against them. They're just craps. Know anything back. That's like I believe one point two percent as well, but we're Steve I'm saying with the free odds I can't come up with another example, and I'm not saying you should yeah. Torque requests right that that is the best odds in the casino, but here's the flipside. So what we're saying is. If you wanted to have the lowest hold against you, but not positive that now you can go progressive. Jackpot on poker game at a certain point. Grass's become positive. That's all we're time walking you WANNA play. But unless I'm mistaken, there's no. Way To be craps. Meaning to have a positive, there's guy. Is that claim that they can do? Christ the dice control. There's Let's say I got a bridge right 'cause I mean. How many casino people you see worried about dice control. That's what you get ashes over. The police worried about it, and they're not probably the. It's not happening well I. DO believe there was a time when the felt was not as spongy as it was that this was certainly viable. Listen If. You knew swear gin at Deadwood, and you wanted to play heads up against wild bill hitchcock. I think there was an edge there to talking about three years ago today. CAN YOU BE CRABS? I don't think you can. And Dice Control, which is saying you. Can actually you know they built whole freaking town overthrowing dice, somehow I. Don't think you're just going to spend him. They're like it's a dream I get China. Do is keep them on access, so you can roll seven all right so the question is. Other than that, no one's telling you can be dice. So on one hand is the best game. And on the other hand the worst game. Yes, you've never heard that before. And I never thought of it till it's really good. Because blackjack has worse rules, but you can beat it. Yes and Roulette. You might be Dat. I'm going to say any name. I won't say Billy Walters for example, but there's people like that. The rumors are and there's a book that big about third of it was discussing it. Do you know the story? I do not there was. Something about how? Allegedly, the manufacturer of the wheel being in on it, and there was specific wheels that were crooked. And you know they could only get it where it was going to be in a quarter of. Like this quadrant was gonNA. Get a disproportionate number. And the trick is. They're gonNA. Catch that after a while, but there's GonNa be. That's interesting because I don't do. They do statistical because at a certain point, a series of results rule. That would be so improbable. You would think they do that, but I don't think I know they do that twenty years ago. Whatever the rumor was there? The teams went in. And just at the right time just be like crazy, and they were into the night, and the rumor is ten million. Wow, and they display like the fourteen numbers. I. Don't know because I have read that I. Have The book I haven't read it. I Skim through it. But. There's a lot of dispute. Apparently, there was almost a lawsuit. I mean so you know billy or people like belly allegedly? Do they podcast in prison. I. Do not know I doubt it. I would think so I think so I. Think they have Netflix I mean I'm not saying it's a good life in prison, but. Why I gave you a copy of the the beyond counting book, yeah, talked about things. Oh Jeez. He gave me a thousand dollar book, and yes, the mentioned it every couple of days. For now I- rumored thousand dollars. We mean ruin. Jeff thousand ivory thousand. What's 'cause? I just said a room or you're just going to say. Things are rumors now thousand I read. Move saying like billy like someone who was a angle shooter, but did it legally. Unrelated Billy Walters. Get Out of prison according to Casino Dot Org he at seventy three. Vulnerable to covid nineteen, which has surged in prisons across the US is originally state release date February fourteenth. That was sweet, Valentine's Day twenty twenty two. The feds have a sense of humor. And now. He will serve his sentence. In his mansion no yacht. I'm not sure actually. And Carlsbad California Fez. Where's at related to where you vacation in California Monterey at Com. Yeah Carmel Car Mao. Monitoring I think we're Carlsbad. Know Carlsbad is do me a favor. Give me the per capita. Income in Carlsbad, and what was that fruity sounding name? Carmel Carmel? I think I got Carmel. I'll take our minus three fifty. Do you do you? Do. You feel like the other. Like when you're walking, they let's say you're walking into. What's the best restaurant you? In the way of Goto like? Let's say least every six months. S Not Michelle W steakhouse. Okay. That's where that's at the win. As Tabas Steve WYNN steakhouse. Okay! Oh, MR now. The stakes. Good enough who cares about me to write? Was it the Steve Wednesday steakhouse, and it became the W. Stay House. Well, that's why it's s W. I understand that, but did it. Oh, it was always s w. that would have been hilarious. Steve Wednesday. And then we got a report here and the next day you see the sign being raised up s w steak. All right. When you walk in, but that's really not that fancy. Is it or is it? Oh, it is. So. Would you say? Oh Carlsbad, California, hundred thousand dollars per household income, and that counts the maids. Carmel a hundred and ten thousand. So for you vacation for weeks at a time. It's almost like a second home. Billy Walters Mansion is in that the ban it. You'd be like I'm not sure I want to drive down there. Come on ten percent. Were you happy when it came up that way or did you want at the other? I Wa since I said my three fifty willing to bet I would've been embarrassed. Carlsbad come in higher than you're saying well. Billy Walters lives. If it had a higher standard of living of the place that you vacation, you would have been embarrassed. Yes, you couldn't show your face at S W steakhouse. have to go to the circus stakeouts. Looking at all the people that go the circus you just crapped on. Circus has a great stakeout. It's not even it's the joke it's the is at the Carlsbad. became professional comedian. I think so. I think so I, mean I I you know. I wouldn't be hanging out with. The store withrow and all the time, but. I. I would have been better writing I'm pretty quick. I wrote an episode of the Simpsons with a buddy of mine in college. It was freaking fun. It was one episode we all the jokes we had the apply got in. You got the setup payoff tax structure. No, but there was some funny little moments in that. We were twenty years old. Come on. When you're walking through. Steve WYNN steak house. Hasn't he been canceled by the AZIMA cancel. Do, you feel like you belong. Because here's the thing. Since you met me. You're more famous than almost anyone in me again there could be a real slab in there, and they're going to be more, but even the guy who's the. Like who is the president of Exxon Mobil no idea? You know he probably makes seventy million, but you're more famous than him, maybe not Han. Close But. No, you probably a higher actually, but okay, but let's go down. One level right would I come in even like who owns. They do you know who owns the Denver Nuggets? Now. So at least in your mind. You're more fan of so the point I'm saying a one hand you construct through and say you know..

"And he wrote a full memo on this and in the memo was critical of the obstruction aspects of Muller's charge a couple of other things. So now, they're trying to say that that bar has no business being attorney Joe because he's prejudge Muller, and it is not fair. And so the effort is on to get out in front of this and be truthful and analytical about the memo that he wrote which is it's actually very it's brilliant in terms of its analysis of Muller's investigation. What parts of it are questionable and so forth. And again, it was it was not written on behalf of Trump or anybody else. It was just this is an intellectual he is a very active legal aficionado, and he wrote it just write it might have been some purpose behind it that I can't remember. But they're trying to get him disqualified now because they don't want anybody in there who might not be fully on board with Muller in the investigation. So, but the point is Matt Whitaker has been cleared. So he can be the AG, and he's been he's been critical of certain aspects of Muller's investigation to he's been cleared to remain acting AG until the nomination of Bill bar is dealt with one other thing before I get back to the phones Daniel Henninger at the Wall Street Journal, how many of you just because of the news just because of your consumption of news during the course of the past year or two how many of you believe? Or how many of you have heard how many red and therefore think that it's pretty conventional wisdom that women. Just don't like Trump. Just hate Trump suburban women democrat women you've been hate Trump. Right. The spice him, he's gross. He's an ogre. Yuck. Isn't that the impression has been created? Well, it turns out that Donald Trump's approval rating. Among Republican women is ninety three percent. Republican women have a higher approval number then Republican men of Donald Trump. But if I've seen one story, I I don't know. How many I've read that women hate Trump? And every one of those stories leave out that there's a lot of women who do who really liked the guy then we hear from them every day on this program. Now, this the polling that produced this happened before the current slate of news on the wall and funding for border security and all that. I don't think it would have affected the results a pull quote from the story. Still some of us on principle don't feel at home with the conventional wisdom, even as we admit that it's undeniable reality so this week, we're going to spend some time with what may be America's most determined political outliers. The women who love Trump Trump's overall approval rating in the FOX Paul is forty six percent his approval rating. Among Republican women is ninety three percent. That's eight points higher than his approval rating among Republican men. Republican women out run men in their support for Trump on virtually every issue that FOX polled. These women are not doubt free Trump supporters. They've got some things they don't like. Thirty six percent of the ninety three percent. Thirty six percent somewhat approve of him. And I just give you the data there because it's something that nobody would believe simply based on news reporting. The bottom line is that Trump is much more popular and appreciated. Then of course, the drive bys are gonna report it. Here's a story. We knew this. But it's it's great to have it confirmed. John McCain was the source of the dossier that news fee. A news news buzz got and published if you remember the history of the dossier, the Trump dossier, the golden showers story where Trump found out he was in the same hotel room that Michelle my bell and Barack Obama had used. And so the story goes at Trump called and hired some prostitutes to come over and urinate on the bed was called the golden showers story. It's totally bogus. It's ridiculous that stories in the Trump dossier, and it's one of the highlights. Well, that's the dossier was running around Washington all during the summer of two thousand. The fall of two thousand fifteen into two thousand sixteen all the drive bys had it, but nobody ran it because it had not been verified. And then all of a sudden one day BuzzFeed did BuzzFeed Ramat in TOTO, they publish the dossier and total and they admitted none of it had been corroborated. None of it could be none of it had been verified. None of it could be but newsfeed news. But what does it BuzzFeed BuzzFeed thought that it was so important that you have to know that it was out there. So they ran it in its entirety. Well, what's been confirmed? Is that John McCain sent some we knew it since somebody UK when he heard about the dossier is he hated Trump. He sends somebody to get it and McCain is who furnished the dossier to BuzzFeed for it to be published while it was one of his aides but McCain sought. It that that this happened longtime associate of John McCain provided a copy of the Steele dossier to BuzzFeed news, according to an explosive court filing released Wednesday, David Kramer, former State Department official who was an executive at the McCain institute. "Hey, what's up everybody? It's me Steve Wednesday. December fifth. Holy shit. Want an ordeal? I recorded about ten minutes of this already this podcast. It had to stop because recording in my apartment. I think I mentioned this before I'm not sure I have the laundry room in my parliament complex is directly. Under my apartment. Still sick talking about this. And someone within the past month has started using. New dryer sheets or those dryer balls whatever to soften their fabrics. But I swear to God, whatever. They're using the perfume is so strong that it fills. And I don't know how this is possible. But it fills my apartment with that perfume smell. No joke to the point where I have to leave. I have to leave my apartment when they do laundry because even with my doors and windows shut my apartment just literally smells like someone came in here. It smells like somebody came in here in no joke dumped a bottle of. Perfume on the floor like empty, the whole bottle of perfume like my whole apartment, smell so bad. There's been times when it's activated. My asthma. And also, I'm sick right now, I have like a very stuffy nose and can barely smell most things. I can still smell this perfume right now. They're last week. I mentioned it to the landlord and he sent out an Email to everybody in the building saying, hey, please stop using scented dryer sheets. Doesn't sit. Well, with some of the people in the building he should have just used me by name. But he said out an Email, saying, stop it and. Sure enough there back using it again. This is a person who desolate I don't know what this person's deal is they have the same red laundry bag. So I know it's the same person, but they do laundry like three times a week like it's happening all the time. And I have to just leave. I can't leave now because I'm sick. I'm I'm legitimately sick. That was going to be the focus of this podcast. Is I have a cold. And so I started off recording. And then this person downstairs started doing laundry with that horrible scented dryer sheet, or I think that those dryer balls, and they're filled with perfume or something, it's horrible. I don't know why someone would want their clothes to smell like this. It's insane. But my sinuses are like just. Shut. I've Nettie potted. I've I. This is Wednesday over the weekend. I went to a wedding out in Palm Springs. The hills above pumps brings. Beautiful wedding. And. But it was outdoors and it was at night. It was super windy and also like forty eight degrees like it was really cold. There was a wedding. So everyone's wearing dresses and suits. No one's wearing parkas and stuff, and I just knew hanging out as well. There's no way I don't get sick this week as I it'll be a miracle. If I don't get sick this week. And sure enough yesterday, Tuesday I woke up feeling great. This is always this has happened. Last couple times I've been sick. Usually I feel. Coming on when I'm getting a cold or something, and I'm like, a tickle in my throat or oh, sinuses. I'm starting to feel pressure. I think I might be getting sick. Like, I feel it coming on. And then I'll just wake up one morning, and I am sick. Fuck the past couple of times its bid I wake up in the morning feeling great. I woke up yesterday feeling awesome. I was like, oh, wow. This is going to be a good day. I'm gonna go to run run some errands, and I went out to start running errands and. Was it the drug store in sneezed once and then it became a sneezing fit. And I couldn't stop sneezy the rest of the day. My nose would not stop running. I don't understand colds. Really, I understand how cancer works. I understand how most diseases work. I don't understand Kohl's. It is the most simple illness. And the least destructive usually, you know. Psycho. I've got the sniffles in the sneezes and the plugged up sinuses for three or four days. Nothing major. You didn't even like still sometimes go out and get stuff done. If you have to. It's not a horrible thing usually a cold. But why can't we stop colds? Why can't we re Radic eight colds? It's seems. Honestly, it seems like it would be super easy. I'm sorry..

"Essonne quarterbacks from the inside and that affects your passing game. I mean DVD's you don't have to cover as long as you know, someone's going to be getting their linebackers you'd have to worry about those backs out the backfield because you got someone inside they got a they got a they had a pass pro against us or the backs are trying to get max protection. The backs aren't coming out the backfield. So I mean, that's what the forty Niners need. They need some key players in certain positions defensive line cornerback safety playmakers. That's what they need playmaker. You gotta. I mean, the whole thing. Three team score thirty three or more. Nobody scored over thirty last year. That's a lot of points to win games outscore people. Hey, how about midseason award coach of the year? Mcvay mcvay. Andy reid. Oh, wow. What are they? I I will go with Andy Reid because I just I whatever he saw in this way back to Texas Tech three years ago. Whatever it was. I mean, it's here. And and whatever he saw scouting department's. All I it's here. You know? I think McVeigh kind of inherited some good things and went out and got some I agree because every everybody loves Sean as the golden boy, and he's in LA and everybody thinks he invented all this stuff. But the reality of the situation is Andy Reed's and even Kyle Shanahan and Jon Gruden and all these different guys did and he he he walked into a great situation. But when you have the balls to say, look, Alex Smith is a really good quarterback. Who wins a lot of games? But you say, you know, what we're going with the guy who's completely unproven that puts a coach on the hot seat right away. You made this choice, and he's been they've been better for it. So I think that that's you know, I like, Sean McVay, but they got a ton of talent there. So does Kansas City, but he changed quarterbacks and this guy, Alex Smith. He's pretty good. Want a bunch of games? But no, he's not good enough in this guy that move loan. That's pretty awesome. I mean, you you can't go wrong. I'll go with McVeigh just because see so material defensive player of the year. Khalil Mack Callaque Aaron Don Aaron Donald I mean, I mean Khalil Mack. I mean, we went to Chicago those first three three radical those are pretty incredible things when you really heard much about them each week consistently Aaron Donald making place when you watch him. I mean, I I went back and watched just on the all twenty two the Rams and forty Niners every single play. He made plays. And it didn't matter if he was doubled or even on plays where he gets doubled. Then what happens is a CJ, for example, CJ methods fumble wasn't directly caused by him. But there was two guys. Plus a guy who chipped him. That means endemic and sue who got the first pressure on battered was one on one he beat rich Berg next to him was Michael brokers one on one and guess what Dante Fowler is going to come in from Jacksonville. And he's going to be one on one. And like you said he makes a ton of plays. But he affects the entire defense because then ever. It's one on one. And then if you're planning on the line with him, I play with a line with Dana Stubblefield and b wa and when they get plays you want plays too. You just don't want, you know, everyone cheering for those. I want some of that cheer into. So you play harder. You know, the Niners aren't on a lot of these lists. Neither of the raiders. But the one nine or that is on breakout player of the year. They've got Mahomes Matt Brita Eric Hebron and then the Cowboys corner. Byron Jones breeder really has been one of the breakout players in the league this year. I it is time for the Steve Young show, and Johnny he stops by with you guys every week on can't be are. And it's it's always fantastic radio for people who are just. Stumbling on this for the first time. What time hear Steve Wednesdays at five o'clock, Steve Young's, very good. And we keep him, and we just go through a bunch of different stuff whether it be Niners, and otherwise, but this week we talked to Steve. And actually he was talking about taking a page out of Steve Kerr's playbook. The.

Don't people to see this thing about antiwar Dane's girlfriend. What about it? I've heard about this. This is beautiful. She's one of the earlier cues of Rb Weinstein, but it just got released that she's getting sued. She, she settled. She settled for raping a seventeen year old kill set when what her she did. Yeah. And I told my wife I go, we've people really understand across the country. Is that Hollywood? Let's start from scratch. Wow, this, what's that expression? They say about women. There's no wrath, angry woman hell have no hurry score members woman mckay's. There's lot of men in Hollywood, the bitter, but the how many women there fucking better. You know, there's a bunch of women that suck dick and got success, but this loudness suck. Dick just plain light. You know, I just bought into a comic from twenty years ago about two months ago, and it was great to see the whole thing. But she sucked away. I lose town. Yeah, you know, like you ever see your friends. You never had nothing to do with her, but you see, you're now you're like, you suck your way out of this town. You know, I went to prison. I did something wrong. Steve Wednesdays, I got locked up, paid my society and I judged, you know how to get judged and all this shit. But at the same time I don't. I daughter have a wife and I have friends. I have daughters, I understand the whole metoo project, but you really have to think of the whole thing at this smoking is fire. You know. Before you fucking through rock, you better make sure you don't live in a glass fucking house. I mean, okay, that's number one. The most painful interview I've seen so far as Matt Lauer when he's interviewing Bill O'Reilly, just literally like you don't. You're the head of the network. You're the face of the network. You don't think these accusers have and then for him to be a month later. Like, how do you do that interview? It's how do you do that interview, knowing that you know it, it's gotta come down the other way we live. How weird? Fucking ten. We live weird. This is serious woman. Did a made a payout r. j. Reynolds, Joe or this one hundred thousand to the kid? Yeah, as she's one of the early accusers was it was a. Like he was like, was he like drugged or something like that? Or is he just like I was just seventeen. It was on the set. He was seventeen two thousand thirteen. Now he's told me should smack the fuck out of him. Yeah, who's got to be something someone got kit because you know what's he doing? Does suck this dick off like you could tell she got the, she's staying in the age of consent in California's eighteen. So maybe that's what that's what harm really. But yet he, yeah, right after she the movie together, something he after. But he went after her right after she started talking about Harvey Weinstein while k, yeah, you're gonna make sure your house is clean before you start pointing fingers. I twenty check your fucking closet time. Rattle those bones. I always doing just look and listen, man. That's why by I don't get down when people, you know, they talk shit about the fucked up shit you do or I'd Donna whatever. It's like fucking. I don't give a fuck and like you. You have to know your house is all fucking cleaned up. You've done all your homework. Your perfect. You know, the thing that gets me the most about this town. I was a criminal. I fucking used a gun if you're gonna do some these guys don't use guns. Don't like fuck in little worming fucking dudes. You know, and point before was being this. I've done a lot of fucked up shit.
