"Make any sense whatsoever. Here is you're in the middle of an outbreak. Wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better, and it might even block a droplet. But it's not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. Yes, say thanks for the call the New Jersey one at 1.5, Keats and Cranberry under Jersey one at 1.5. I, Keith Hey, great, great topic. So a couple of points here number one. Why is it or the What Is this our nobody talking about people who have the antibodies that are very high that we could provide proof that we are Protected. For example, I've just got a test done A very good question. And I was very high with anti bodies and I had covid in March of 2020. Right. So you figure in since you had it you got the antibodies usually have to get a vaccine. You should be fine. Yeah, I'm fine because I have a very, very high level of anti bodies number two. Just an f Y I for people, you can go to Walgreens and get a free covid test any time. You just go on their website set up appointment. I went to Hawaii two weeks ago and the state of Hawaii required all clear 72 hours before and it was softly. There you go. You know that's where we can use Key. Thanks for the call to New Jersey. 1 to 1.5. John's in Manchester on New Jersey one on 1.5. Hey, John. Yeah, I said, Absolutely. If you have an adverse reaction, you were forced to take a shot to keep your job. You should you should be able to. So, um, as far as the FDA approval that was a foregone conclusion. You can't shoot 200 million shots into people's arms and then say, Oh, by the way, it's bad. So now you know you can't take those shots back. Yeah, they had no choice. They had to do this. So it's good. They're going to say it's good. And then you have some people who will give the argument that. Oh, well, You just quit your job and go find another job. If you're going to stay, a police officer like Eric was even on the force for 22 years. So you make 120 $130,000 a year, You know, just ready for your pension. What do you mean, You can just quit your job that that's the dumbest argument I've ever heard, And they're good with that. Well, that's what I was saying earlier. You know, it's not like you walk out of whatever job you're in and walk into another job of the same. You know, people just can't afford to do what nor should they do it. You know, we should be able to make that choice. And you're right, John. Thanks for the call to New Jersey. Want to 1.518? Oh, 22831 at 1.5. I can get you on if you call right now, Now that the FDA has approved the Pfizer vaccine would that make you want to get it? If you haven't yet 304 votes 69.4% Say no 30.6% Say yes, I am as surprised as you are. Now we have 335 votes when it comes to the, uh, the covid question. You know, which is very simply now that, uh, if we Hold on. There just are listed again. Basically, if your company mandates you get the vaccine and you get sick from the vaccine. Should you be able to sue your company Because they made you get the vaccine 1 800 to 831 or 1.5. How do you feel about that? And according to what I've got here 72.8% say Yeah, the company should be responsible. 335 votes 27.2% say no. And again The pharmaceutical companies are not responsible for you getting this vexed, you know for, uh, if you get anything happens to you from these vaccines. Somebody should be held responsible. The governor comes out and says the state workers are going to have to get vaccinated or face multiple covert tests every week, but doesn't say who's paying for the multiple covered tests. So for you to sit home and not get the vaccine to, you know to, uh For whatever reason. If you sincerely believe is not a good idea. It's one thing If you just want to stick it through them. It's another thing. But when it starts costing you $150 a week for tests, even though you're perfectly healthy and feel fine. Something scary or something's wrong. 182831 Oh 1.5 So These are where we are with the polls. And like I said, the other thing about this, too is you're telling me that these vaccines work and you're also telling me in the next breath that they don't work? Because there's a delta variant going around? I still got to wear a mask. But then you told me that the vaccine would protect against adult to vary it. And then you told me that I'm going to need a third shot. Eight months after the second one. So it's like they're making this stuff up as they go along. Well, they really don't know what they had. We should know by now. You know, they should know that, you know, work on treatments. So that if anyone does come down, we covered we could do more than pray. No, not that That's not enough. But still, Jeff is in Union Beach, New Jersey, one at 1.5. Hi, Jeff. How you doing, Steve? Good. Yeah, I would definitely say that. They're definitely they should definitely be liable. And I think that there is, um Companies should have been reliable the whole time. You know what if they're all we've seen go on with these companies. I wouldn't disagree with you at all. But that's not what they're about. You know, they're about just passing the buck, not about liability. 1 800 to 831 on 1.5. And this is, uh, you know the way it's going to be because covid not going anywhere. So, Yeah, everybody the mask on so we got another variant. You know, back to the drawing board. What We try to figure that out. Virus will constantly mutate. Viruses don't go away. About this one. And chances are your Children. My Children all get it. They'll pass it. It won't they may not even know they even had it. We have treatments that we continue to work on. And again. I'm not telling you whether or not to take the vaccine. I'm questioning whether you should be forced to take the vaccine. 1 800 to 8311.5. I'm Steve Trevor Lease. It's 8 30. Now the latest New Jersey news from NJ one on 15 dot com..

"So if I'm Twitter, so you tell me 1 802 831 on 1.5. My thing is this if you wearing the shirts no matter what, What's on the shirt? It should be all about team. It could be divisive. You're going down a slippery slope. I reached out to a school superintendent who this morning who basically said The question is, if the team is paying for it, you don't want individual messages. Point. Barrow has brotherhood because its unifying and paid for by the school. It's a privilege to be part of co curricular sports, Not a right. You're letting you play with that said if the entire team wants BLM than the school can decide to pay for it, because it's a team message, not an individual message. You know, at the high school level, it's about team. When you get to the pros, it becomes all about you. But it's not there. For the Manchester taxpayers to sponsor an individual message could incite a riot could be a very slippery slope, not in just sports, but in all phases of academia. If she bought this shirt herself doesn't matter. You don't have an individual right to share your opinion. Education is a right sports is a privilege. Now, if the superintendent At the meeting would have just listened would have just taken a few minutes to give her the you know to reply to the speech. I think this whole thing could've been resolved. What do you think? 1 802 831 on one point and that And that was the bad part. You know, because he spoke after the meeting. He addressed it during the meeting. Moving on. And that's got to be so frustrating. You know, when you're the player in your heart is in in Europe, they're expressing yourself and you don't even get the courtesy of reply so I can understand. You know, I can understand where destiny comes from, And they also respect the fact. That would always said and done. You know, Tell me what you feel The problem with being I feel it's divisive. I feel that it's a slippery slope that allows anybody to wear any shirt which could become problematic. Not everybody agrees with every cause. And it's something that the taxpayers would have to approve. The school board would have to approve. And that would be something that the team would have to totally be together on. 1 802 831 on 1.5. I'm Steve Trevor Lacy is New Jersey one on 1.5 fast traffic. "You ate 31 on 1.5 Steve Trevor lease. Marijuana is now legal in New Jersey, and they're trying to figure out how to get it to us legally and comfortably. Remember the first time you got high. How much did you know what you were getting into? When you got high, was it your friends that talked you into? It really didn't know what the deuce and does the good in the band about marijuana, Or did you actually take the time to do the research which at that time would have meant going to the library? Because we didn't have the Google Uh, there's a proposal in New Jersey by a Republican assemblyman from Cape May. Who Eric Simonson, who wants to start teaching kids about marijuana as far back as the third grade. I think it's a great idea simply because The more you know. The easier it is for you to decide. So we teach him in third grade before they start getting interested in marijuana. When the time comes the name and let's go get high. I don't know why I say it like Cheech, but, you know There. May say, I don't know, man. We want to do this or they may know you know what? I like the idea. I want to do this because everything I learned about it, but objectively teach them and I say the same thing about alcohol. And tobacco. Let's talk to Steven Howell on New Jersey one on 1.5, Steve. Hey, How's it going? Good. How are you? I'm alright. I'm alright. Were you thinking As far as the third racing. I think that's kind of early. I mean, when I was in third grade, I was playing like, explanation. Legos and like Nerf guns. I wasn't really not No one. I knew it. I knew about that. Maybe, like six grade like middle school. Maybe we teach about video games instead, right? Yeah, well, you know what the thing about third grade is this? Uh, If you're going to start in third grade, there's not gonna be any preconceived notions. You know what I mean? Because if you if you start doing it before, when they're saying, doing in fifth grade, and now they're starting to hear about it. The friends of talking about it. They've already got opinions on it. So we're gonna go in. These guys are gonna try to talk me out of it. These guys going to try to talk me into it as opposed when the third grade then have no knowledge of what it is. And now they learn about it objectively, and you've got to teach it objectively, too. I understand where you're coming from with that that similar like Santa Claus. I'd rather be like As a parent. I'd probably be the person to tell my kids not having find out through like school. I'd rather be there but not about sin. But Santa Claus as in this story, but not about the actual fact who's the parents don't always know the actual fact. You know what I mean? How much research has his parents have done when you're you're 20 years old you You could tell me the first time you got high and I want to hear it. But before that, did you Paris it down and say like, and actually thoroughly research marijuana and explain to you what it was, or did you just decide to get high with your friends? Which most people don't not at all I learned from Joe Rogan, you go. There you go. That's what I'm saying. But at least you had Joe Rogan. I'd rather have somebody in school. Okay? At least you know what you're getting into. A lot of people just got high because they're friends Got high. They were there. All right. Give me a head. What the hell? The first time I was with my friends. I was told like some of the other people earlier that it wouldn't do much, because apparently you need receptors in your brain that can pick up on the THC and sometimes, like you don't have them, So they said, You don't have a brain, so they get by with them. Yeah, pretty much. Okay, So what happened? Hey, I like they told me like, you know, you're going to start staring off at random objects and like you'll say funny things, but It hit me. All right. "It was such a good villain. Y'all and. I like the more desperate. He got throughout the film. The more interested i was in his story line and yeah i just. I really enjoyed his story arc. I thought pedro pascal did a wonderful job Playing this like manic guy who's like pa probably dying and bleeding on the inside but just knows he needs to get just a little bit more and then he can start. You know freakishly seeing him. Say i take your your vitality. I take your line. And you give your heart your rage and your prowess all the whole world and you see him at the end of the gentleman. He's totally healthy again. You're like oh shit. Loved it. So max lord and then wonder woman was great. Her arc is great. That opening seeing the mall was everything. I wanted to be josh Mine is going to be a steve trevor. In wonder one. I just i love chris pine i love just driving sunscreen. I love all the reactions i love. I love i enjoy. There's not a moment you go cut you acting chris. Pine you acting also is like i remember when hearing about how he's gonna come back for the second i was like why and watching like yes and then for me. I'm like the third one mike. I wouldn't be mad if he's showed up again. It's just be seeing him but also why it's the naievety of just like and swiftly shadow water. Oh yeah. I really like that. Where it's like. I mean that was the thing where it's like. Diana comes in trying to teach the world about of in the first film in. Steve has kind of be like that reality pill and now he's just like in this medical know like she's enjoying ice stream and she's like what are what are these dresses for battle. And she's like all these different things like and he teaches. She teaches dance and love and compassion. For everyone in this one. She has to learn something for herself. But it's also kind of like she's now getting the chance to teach him about the. It's like it's a nice poetry that's just a trash just a trash can then the escalator. He's just like hot thousand falls. This is a cool. There's a cool little tidbit. Dana grandfather designed a plane. That is in him in the movie. Yeah guys screen guy will post it on the the socials. But it was very exciting for her and obviously her grandma. He's passed on sends but she was like he's in a movie with wonder woman on sweet. We'll post a big foreground plane when they're walking down the stairs. You see you see gal. Gadot huckabee in.

"But that's just May. Okay. I was cool with the cheap stuff. And I actually thought Kristen wig was pretty good. You like that Jim? Scene when she was lifting stuff is really hard to rate the acting in this movie because I have the writing was terrible. Yeah, I got a lot of the lines were horrible. I don't think the actors and actresses could've changed any of that moving forward, guys when we're you know, making fun of a character. Everything that goes into the character, not just the acting, but how it's written. And then everything else. This movie stars Gail got it as Diana Prince Ak Wonder Woman, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. Kristen wig is Barbara Minerva AK that she too things with that name number one. It sounds like normal from Garfield, which made me laugh and then also she played a character on the flight of the Conchords where they couldn't figure out if her name was Barbara or bra, brah. And it turned out that her name was bra bra bra bra your age. We are language. By the way, also got Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord and a really confusing performance. We'll get to that in a second on Ben. In the beginning, we have essentially cameos from Robin Wright as anti Ope and as I said, G A P on Connie Nielsen is Hippolyta and Young Bashar does played by Hipolito Pichardo Little Picture Young Diana was played by Lily Aspell. That first opening scene, which was 11 minutes long are you here is a perfect tease for what's to come because you're like they're not really doing much here. And this is really long, which is essentially what the movie was. I'm do I ask the people the good folks of Twitter to simply rotten tomatoes this thumbs up or thumbs down. I got like 15 responses, not a single thumbs up, not one. Not one. And so I think this is playing into people had rather high expectations for the movie. But if that's the case, I totally understand the hate for this is my first movie. Didn't have that expectation time where I said to myself, I wasted 2.5 hours. I generally don't say that. I'll be like okay, well, I got something from it. There is nothing in this movie that I want to re watch or even has seen that I want to re watch what you're saying right now is the way I felt about Aquaman, and I think that's 100% permission to come aboard right now. But if that's what it looked like, but if you liked What's his face? Mama Mama, Mama is Aquaman. You might like that movie and to me I love Delgado as wonder Woman and the first so There were parts of this movie that I enjoyed watching her slipping around with lasso gliding on air. We didn't get enough of that. We got actually almost none of it for a good portion of the film and then I also think the special effects and see GI this movie with some of the worst we've seen in a while. It's very off very off, Putting two and Dan seven makes a good point here an hour and a half into the movie and the on Lee Wonder Woman stuff that we had was the scene in the mall. And that wonder woman Seeing them all was Hi the dumb but super campy. So if you're going to go that route, you gotta stick to that route. So also commanded. So she winks at that little girl she went with wrong. I So she looked at her, right. So, like right here, this I is facing you. You wink with this eye, she went with this. I don't even know if she could only wait for the right eye. Maybe she can't wait with her left eye. We don't know if she has that ability. She's a wonder woman. She can wink with either eyes. She just chose the wrong guy. Good going back to the first movie, which was set during World War one. World world. One was so hot then it was easy to do like the fish out of water thing right? Because it's World War one. You've got a ah woman that has never even experienced the rest. Nothing. She's experienced any of the world. But in this movie Steve Trevor, at least has some kind of a background knowledge to what the world is. And now it's just like an updated of him walking around going. Wow. Wow. They should have recast it. Owen Wilson to play him. Well, yeah, I mean, we jump pretty much 70 years here. A lot has changed. There's fish out of water capabilities there, but we don't. We don't need a ton of it, and they were I just didn't enjoy that part of it, and I also didn't think they had great chemistry didn't like when he tried to get him personally. He tried on office. Oh, Fanny packs cool, 1984 cool, And now that we've jumped 70 years, this goes back into a Patty Jenkins said. I remember if it was this year last year whenever, but when talking about the Wonder Woman story arc in the character, she said that the story had been mapped out. Play out over three films with the third and final Wonder Woman film playing out in present day, and so clearly there's gonna be another jump for the next one. But with that in mind, like Everything that happens in this movie wonder Woman ability wise and on the planet. Makes the other movies. She's been in a lot worse, right. It's sort of last get eye level and Aquaman level. Where now that she's displayed something in this movie, Thea other movies don't make sense in the other movies outside of her first movie, You mean like Justice League and Batman for Superman, because Will spoil things later on, But she has something in and I think someone might say Well, that came out now They're kind of doing one officer stand the other thing, which I would say Yeah, you're right until the fact that we're getting a brand new justice Lee, So that's not true anymore. So they're still trying to build this DC universe, But they're all over the place because they have 17 different visions of what each character's supposed to be. So her parents and Batman or Superman is now significantly worse because she could fly. Right? She could fly. That is a spoiler, Mac know how dare you?.

"And morning host from Caleb Day, Williams began by taking a look at the much anticipated wonder Woman, 1984. Welcome to the future. Life is good, but it can be better. Why shouldn't you be all you need to watch? Okay, So I guess this is something of a Campy look at the eighties as well as a wonder woman flick. Right, And that's what's really fun about the movie. The fact that it sends up the 19 eighties as a period of Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, You know, uh, sort of Wall Street returned with with Michael Douglas, that part of the movies, a lot of fun, the production design, the fashions and the like, What isn't so much fun is the story. Uh, this is a typical comic book story about villain who wants to in effect take over the world on he's using as his device. A wishing stone, uh, a magical device that gives him the power to give the dreams of everyone else. To bring them to fruition so long as he takes from them, whatever he wants, And one of the things that happens is that wonder woman wishes for the return of her, Uh, late, uh, lover Steve Trevor, who is actually killed off in the first movie played by Chris Klein, and she gets him back, actually, but she loses some of her power in the process. Toe a mousey girl played by Kristen wig. Who wants to be assertive and decisive. The way Diana Prince is, It's a very convoluted in silly plot. The nice part of the movie is, I say, is the refashioning of the 19 eighties. That's satire. That's actually pretty well done, and Salgado and Chris Pine once again work very well together. The bad part of the movie is the entire villainous plot, which in the last half hour 45 minutes turn something into an absolute mess. I found this to be inferior to the first wonder woman film as a result of that, but nonetheless. We've had a long drought of superhero movies, and people are really anxious for them on, so I expect this will do well. And it's also the first real test of Warner Brothers decision to release big movies to theaters and HBO, Max at the same time, so you can see this film streaming as well as go up to a theater to see it. Whether that system is gonna work for Warner Brothers, we have to wait and see. That's wonder Woman 1984 next up. Pixar's latest animal made it film Seoul. This is interesting for a cartoon because it doesn't sound like it's Ah, you know, kids show, but it's a a guy that person that meets their untimely demise and finds himself In the after life as a mentor to new souls happens..

"Hi everybody I am Peter Travers and welcome to this special edition of Popcorn where creed you all the movies opening between Labor Day and New Year's Eve I know wait what aren't we in a pandemic Will really be moved this fall and theaters to show them in I mean the answer to both those questions is a huge. Yes. Sixty two percent of all US theaters are open now and there's going to be more to come covid permitting, of course, and those movies that can't make it to the multiplex will be available for rental or streaming in sickness and in health people, you can't keep a good movie down. So let's start with the blockbusters that are out there. Number one is tenant. Brain Teasing epoch from Dark Knight Director. Christopher. Nolan. Herself as a man to replace her sick father in the Imperial Army the new moon is not musical and there's no comic relief from eating Murphy as the Voice of a fast talking dragon named Moo Shu. This is not that kind of movie. There's no whitewashing but using Western actors in the drawn from Chinese legend and as Rouland the astounding Lou ye. Leads in Asian cast that includes martial arts icon jet. Li is the emperor up and China's leading actress Gong Li as shape shifting witch who teaches on how to survive and prosper in a man's world. Look move on is not your typical princess. She's a warrior fighting for her place in the world prepare to be well. Next up wonder woman one, thousand, nine, hundred, eighty, four, the sequel to the two thousand seventeen smash that made a star of Gal. Gadot, remember her places the DC comics immortal wonder woman into the cold. War where she does battle with the media tycoon played by Pedro Pascal and the villainous Cheetah played by Kristen Wiig always to me an asset in any movie Chris. Pine also returns Steve Trevor The American. Pilot that one woman loves I know didn't he die the last time during World War? One people you gotta go with this this is Hollywood. So if we can borrow wonder woman's last sube truth for a moment, credibility isn't the issue here. It's the show stopping stunts engineered by returning director Petty Jenkins executed by Godot, and she's a formal Israeli military structure. So you know you're in for a really good time. Next up is black widow look wonder woman has competition already. You know we've been waiting since spring for Marvel to let its first solo black widow epic out of storage and into theaters. Now, the wait is over Scarlett. Johansson is back in action as Natasha Romanoff Aka black widow. She's the Russian assassin with no superpowers road just skills she's like the female Batman this Prequel looks back, Arjun story in it's a doozie forints pugh is there as Natasha, surrogate says sister and Rachel Vice is the leader of this black widow organization. It's not just one black widow you can become a black widow tells witness business. So Watch your back wonder woman next up candyman there's nothing like the Primo horror. Film to get us all back in the dark of a theater where we can scream bloody hearts out behind a mask of course, end with get outs Jordan peele writing the screenplay. This direct sequel to nineteen ninety two's cult fright fest stars Watchmen Emmy nominee Jadu Martine the second as a visual artist drawn back to those housing projects in Chicago's Cabrini-green where he was born now the whole place is gentrified beyond recognition but the green is still haunted by Candyman Tony Todd an urban legend who still kills anyone who summoned him by saying his name five times. Okay. Altogether now with me candyman candyman candyman candyman candyman, we did it. So I'm looking around here to see if some him up. Okay next up no time to die look no red blooded movie Fan is GonNa Think of missing Daniel. Craig's fifth and final outing James Bond you know for my money Craig and Sean Connery are in dead heat for the best bond ever. This one directed by Kerry from Gonzaga who did true detective from Script Co written get this by sleeping bags phoebe Wall Rich Daniel Craig asks for her because he really wants a little feminist touch to this. This is the. Twenty fifth, all seven Cape and you know this is a record and we're GONNA lose Daniel Craig. But in the movie James Bond's been retired for five years and he gets called back in. You know that's what happens to everybody from the Godfather on. You know Bohemian Rhapsody oscar-winner.
