"You never even had to go through a break-up you just married the first person that you did it in your what do you know about heartbreaking than watching them on social media like fall in love with someone else and like you know that so. Don't talk to me that like we're all fragile you. You're talking about things that you've never lived through so i'll get defensive in that way. I think our basic instincts like we have certain primal instincts right like if we get hungry all gotta eat tired sleep and then emotionally. Basic instincts is like To to be affected personally like as if everything that happens to you. Negative or good or positive is because of you. Rain and lake. Sure like it's it's hard to describe this because it's it's everything has a duality to right like if you work. Hard at tennis or gymnastics and you're getting gold medals. Well it's kind of like yeah. You put it hard work but at the same time you are also supported by friends and family. Your teammates your coaches whatever. So there's it's almost hard to ever take credit for anything even though you should be proud of your copper as so i don't know what to say really it's like on the flip side of it. It's like it's easy to just be offended especially these yes. Everyone's offended about everything some things offense worthy and something's not and it's kinda like we're in this weird emotional mental puberty phase of the internet. Where we're trying to grasp in like in grapple how do we handle all the shipping toss in our faces daily. Arthur minute after minute and we're we're voluntarily. I guess voluntarily were our instincts are being hijacked to kind of compulsively cheques. Social there. Something that is just so easy and seductive about. It was like why not. Just let me just go through. Let me give myself whatever reasons for just yet. And then we subject ourselves to all this kind of whether it's inflammatory news about things that are truly upsetting But but also misinformation all this. We're just we're growing right now. I think as a collective species were. We're going we're going to the growing pains of learning how to manage these things for sure and that's okay so i guess i don't know i guess my bottom line message is like i don't know just don't take it personal. Don't dante give person Doesn't songs it's hard it's very. It's very hard. It can be pretty simple. I think that's a good note to leave our listeners. With because 'cause i can talk to you for like fifteen hours with usually like do marathon pocahontas. Yeah i was like if we ever did that hours. It could totally happen. Let's do that one day. Actually that'd be really fine if we can get different friends to join into birds two different but yeah i. I say this is where we're at as of this moment were not done. No one's done never done. You can take in a good or bad way. But yeah i think that's wise words Wiser awards have never been said. Just don't take personnel. I'm working on it man. Anybody who's struggling with it bre with you. I'm with gives you plenty of practice opportunities. Better lenghty my friend. I made a new friend This past weekend at a birthday gathering. That i was really kind of like. Oh do i want to go to this but let this be a moment for like going in whenever you're in however you're ready to go inside take a look at the things that are kind of like need a little bit of a look see because she left me a. I had the greatest time getting to know her at a friend's birthday but she was. She sent me a quote that she mentioned in our conversation which is nothing changes until the pain of remaining. The same is greater than the pain of changing changing sucks for pretty much everybody. It's uncomfortable. it's weird but staying the same can also it can suck in at some point staying. The same sucks more than how much it sucks to change so like if we might be in there. I think we're right in that spot like we have to change because what we've been doing is not working so this new normal. Whatever it is is it has to be graduated version of what it was before. Because that's old news. We're graduating out of it. Yeah time to graduate. Don't take it personal. Think about it yourself some slack and move on. That's all right. Steve thank you so much.
