Why It's Worth Exploring 'The Big Bang'
"It's kind of funny, Steve. And I think we've talked about this privately, but in my book as atheism dead roughly have the same three things. And this was before I knew that you were putting it in this way. And the third one I put it differently, I kind of, you know, it's more about James tour and abiogenesis, but it's the same concept. And it's funny, though, that we're both logical or try to be. And these are three just astonishing arguments for God. There's just no way around it. And it's funny, I mean, I guess I'm glad to hear that you use these three because they struck me viscerally as the three arguments that I wanted to talk about. The Big Bang in some ways is a curious choice because I think a lot of people think, well, that's old hat. I don't think it is, at least, that's why I revisit it and I talk about it a little bit in that chapter. But why do you say the big why is it worth dealing with the Big Bang, something that presumably we've known about for a long time? Well, science and philosophy do intersect. And scientific discoveries can raise larger philosophical or worldview questions. In every world you have to answer the question, what is the thing or the entity or the process from which everything else came? And the default way of thinking about that from the late 19th century was that the universe is eternal and self existent that matter and energy play the role in a materialistic worldview that God plays in the theistic worldview. In other words, it's the thing from which everything else comes. And it's always been here, and therefore doesn't need an explanation. But one Princeton physicist Robert Dickey put it an infinitely old universe would relieve us of the need of explaining the origin of matter at any finite time in the past. But if the universe is finite, which is what all the evidence now points to. Then that raises a big question that materialism can't answer, which is where did the matter and the energy come from in the first place? At that beginning point. And this troubled Einstein, this troubled Arthur eddington, this troubled Fred hoyle, the great astrophysicist and physicist at the early part of the 20th century who were confronted with this evidence, all recognized that it posed a huge challenge to scientific materialism or scientific atheism or scientific naturalism, whatever you want to call it, the idea that matter and energy or the primary reality, not

Steve Deace Explains Why So Many Conservatives Are Pedaling the Vaccine
"So many conservatives peddling the vaccine like people that i used to trust and listen to cassini names. You know who i'm talking about. These people say they all care about facts and yet it just is really bizarre to me. Is it wishful. Thinking is now looking at data. Are they afraid of being called names if it's a combination of factors one is there there. There is an element of people in our business whose monetization model derives largely from a platform. Like a face button. And so what you'll find if you go and look at their commentary on things that you don't get pinged on facebook for it. I mean they go. They go to the wall the mattress on those sites on the things that you would get pinged on facebook for like say election integrity or this conversation. They have nothing to say. I think that's part of it. I think also. There is an element within our movement. And i say this as someone that probably was counted himself amongst this group until a few years ago when i could no longer deny the ferocity of just the pagans zealotry that we're up against but there is still a an element of our movement that is concerned about what our base will do if they don't kind of rein them in That that will all be cons- you know. Certified nuts crazy banned everywhere that will be disinvited from polite society so somebody some some really smart people have got to kind of run. The overton window on the right. I think that's part of it I think it's also they think we're still doing conventional science here and that there are you know. There were some very prevalent people in our industry. That were promoting scott gottlieb last year and a legitimate spokesperson. Okay and i think it comes down to you. Know what we can still all work together and live together here. We have you know people that are object there. These people don't exist any longer. No one is objective any longer. You're you're in a culture that's in a cold civil war and i'm sorry it sucks. I'm not you know a father of three kids. I'm not really happy about what that means for the future. But i ha- i can't lie to myself about that any longer

It's called faustian. Ian booster and it just came out Yesterday in fact and the goal is to help equip people to push back on vaccine mandates. We go into a lot of data. We look at this strictly from a medical ethics in a scientific ethical perspective. Because we don't frankly think that the people making these decisions will be moved by constitutionality at all. They do the constitution. Something to a race run over undo so we try to appeal to something more hippocratic more directly judeo christian. We appealed to the nuremberg code. Which came out after world. War two in response to Using humans as test subjects to try to reset. What he you know. Medical and scientific experimental ethics look like and a lot of the data that we use charlie. I thought it was funny. I had some Spirit of the age lefties combat me on twitter this morning wondering if i had quoted a bunch of people that had just been baying on youtube now that that means anything anymore but a lot of these names. I'd never even heard of no. I didn't quote any of them. I actually use almost exclusively. Cdc in who data in this chapter so it's available right now for digital download. It's only a couple of bucks. I'm gonna make like forty cents a copy. This is really just about getting this information to people as many as we can to push back on these vaccine
We Should Only Re-Elect Trump If He's Going to Clean Out the Deep State
"Only reason to bother putting trump back in office is if he's going to clean out the deep state which he didn't do for forty years he would the moment. He dodged the bullet of russia collusion. He got right back on the horse and that was a terrible mistake. I think i hope and pray. Trump learned his lesson. I'm encouraged that. Our friend. Steve bannon is organizing former republican appointees to try to prepare bench a liable maga people trump trump could appoint instead of just picking old bush family cronies picking people from the deep state who play the same golf courses and eat at the same cafes and have basically the same ideas as the

I have a pretty good idea whom i starting quarterback is going to be. Unfortunately he didn't tell anybody. But it's going to be very interesting. Who he ends up going with. Trae lance or jimmy garoppolo. Either one of them though. I wanna go on record as saying whoever he chooses is going to get a big boost because they get to open against the lions and so whoever it is is gonna look great. I'm going to go out on a limb here. And i'm going to say whoever starts week one for san francisco is definitely going to start week. Two for san francisco because he's gonna look really good and everyone's going to say well he's off to a great start. Then we'll see how good a quarterback but the lions absolutely major in one category that i have observed them for decades. They make opposing quarterbacks particularly young ones one to highlight of his career that maybe sam darnold thailand of career was when he played against the lions. Right oh my god. He looked like joe nemeth at night. After he threw a pick six the game he throws a here he throws a pick six right away and that he played off the charts after that. So i guess. I have this times to ask them mike. This is when we popped the question. Mitch what's the over under on ws for the tweet lions this year five okay. Good year they should have. They should have remote cameras at every. Well they're mystery. They got a new coach. This guy is dan campbell. He's like a quota minute. he's constantly you know making noise and and Talking about you know we're just gonna break their knee caps and rah-rah bubba and we'll see how that plays if they go in three to start the season but hope springs eternal in the motor city. That's the way it works niche by the way. I think we talked about this. At the time. I was fascinated. By the fact that most coaches on the way in they get five year contracts. But no no no. Not dan campbell. The lions gave him six. The lines gave him six years. And i just what i what he did you think in the interview that got him that extra year tree. I don't know maybe they had to offer that in order to get him to come here. You know anyhow okay so With that it is time for our parting shots. U. V. no hot hatch back nothing like that what you need is a Prius or a corolla or something that blends in non descript is exactly what you want to do some research and Joe lawyer the bank robbers said that his first wave of data like really understanding how to rob banks was from the department of justice compendium of statistics that was in his parole officers waiting room and he would sit in there and read it would he make his parole visits and what did he learned he learned this that a bank brought both bank robber start robbing banks about forty five minutes from their house on the first robbery but they get closer to home with every successful robbery so they create concentric circles closer and closer to where they actually live and that's the way FBI tracks them so he when he would drive hours away and do a cluster of robberies in one area and then never hit that area again again obviously you know he was ultimately cut so I'm don't assume the guard is going to stop you the guards are there two of the guards are told to avoid gun play if possible and to simply watch and gather as much intelligence as they can the FBI wants to handle the investigation in the law enforcement or the local police so don't assume that the guard is actually gonna do anything to get in your way and the bank employees certainly want second or threat of number four don't run out and hop in your getaway car walk away calmly he would park about two buildings away walked to his walk to where his car was someone's driver's car back in the parking lot and sit in front like two rows away in the back parking lot well people are freaking out and running around and he would watch them and let everything died down and then he calmly drive wait so wait I wanna make sure I understand that point so he had robbed the bank you rob a bank he would walk calmly away about two blocks away to building on the other side said say you pick banks and in shop in shopping plazas he would go baby a building away get in this car come back around sit in his car and then just watch everything all the chaos on folders people were running around because they would look for cars driving away quickly inevitably in a neighborhood they're always this one wow banks near a freeway interchange this way they don't in this one you all know from the movies did that with the really don't know which way you get when you do finally get into a car so it interchange you mean the four or five crosses the I. yeah when where there's a lot of on ramps offramp that whole business that leaves all kinds of confusion of where you Mike on plus it's a real high concentration of a lot of what other non descript Kerr said look a little bit like yours should someone have senior Kerr which obviously not parking in front the bank yeah Black Sea right this isn't actually the movies the last thing is and this is the couple one but he said he grew up in a horrible conditions and actually had a lot of rage inside he said you have to have to have to scare the teller and he said if you're serious you have to scare the teller enough to do something they don't want to do which is give you money he said make them fear for the life even though you have no intention of hurting anyone ever even sometimes even carrying a gun you have to make them worried they do exactly what you want as quickly as you want before you can gather he said for him he would tap into he got us to be like cigarette burns from a step that he was one of those kids grow up an awful conditions and he said he would tap into that rate and get in get looked crazy enough that people do exactly what he needed them to do very very quickly before he would walk out of the bank calmly he said it's hard to like regulate your emotions he would be driving to banks he said he would be shaking he so tightly wound keys that everything in my body is telling me don't do this don't do this today's a day are going to get shot don't do this don't do this to do this and he said but this was how you earn his living in it so we said also if you're wondering about how much money you make he said he's made as little as a thousand Bucks and as much as about seven thousand dollars in a bank robber you don't make a whole lot of money wow in a bank robber does your really just getting the money right there and you've got to get out relatively quickly you can't hang around and it's not he said it's not like one of those things where someone knows where the keys are and you get us involved opened up with stacks of cash you put a duffel bags of that's just not the way to believe he's at heights that big those are like chronic so if you want to hear more about this it's the how to podcast with Charles do Hague and it is dynamite in there's also there's all kinds of great how to stay here it's not just on how to Robert so we'll put that up on the Katy my can touch a Facebook page you can get at that and then you can listen to it and promote the great podcast podcast you said what was your fave or would you favor heist movies you lead that peace with audience I mean any it's everyone's and in fact we lead off the washing posted a story on this a few years ago they interviewed who's now a law professor and a former bank robber like which movies do you think actually depict a robbery the way it might play out and he said heat yes I was one of those films that he said like was actually because obviously awful things happen in the background right now so mine is one that's the least realistic but I love I love how they did it was inside job job is fan in that's always when they get out of the top of everybody's dressed up in the same thing if it ever in the paint here no one knows who has a victim who write at length film yeah and the and the the ultimate robber hit inside the.

"Just something I ran across that I think is kind of interesting, not majorly interesting. But kind of interesting. And it's in the NFL. When you think about some of these guys and. Who they had throwing to them? So out of these guys, the percentage of seasons which each wide receivers spent working with a Pro Bowl quarterback during their careers and I'm gonna mention about six or eight guys. And then I'm gonna give you that percentage. And then you can think about what it means to those potential guises to how well they perform throughout their career. Marvin Harrison sixty nine percent of the time he played with the Pro Bowl quarter. Pretty amazing. When you think about it. Jerry Rice sixty seven percent of the time he played with a Pro Bowl quarterback. Terrel Owens sixty percent of the time played with a Pro Bowl quarterback. Randy moss forty four percent of the time. Chris Ali does touch touchdowns. Thirty eight percent of the time. Art Monk thirty one percent. Tim brown. Twenty nine percent Steve, large at twenty one percent. Matron. Eight percent. What could have been for that guy? Had he played with a better quarterback m is next. One is. Why a lot of Arizona cardinal fans think that Larry FitzGerald. Would be the greatest of all time had he played with a better quarterback. And that's thirteen percent. So just kind of interesting. Little piece of information for you about certain wide receivers played this game. And then who they went on to play with the percentage of their career as to how long or how little, they had a Pro Bowl like quarterback. So it's just kinda interesting. Speaking of football. I'm excited for NFL football. I really am. And to me, you can talk about football, all year round, especially being a guy from the great state of Wisconsin, where we talk Green Bay Packers football. It's wall-to-wall basketball, it's WALDO while football. But I'm gonna kinda just go through a few things, maybe go through some of the divisions in give you my, my, my outlook, at least right now. And again, this, it's June so lack can happen. You know, I always liked to have the tourney seal pool, like who do you think is the first running back that's gonna tear their ACO, and I it's kind of a fun little thing. But, but you know what it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen. Or like who's the first quarterback that's gonna get knockout? Just some fun things that I like to do with listeners, and, and then people throw out their idea. Then you know what if the right we usually have something for them? There's the NFL is the king man. It's great. I so. Let me get to it a little bit. In the AFC east. I guess the biggest question here. Well, there's, there's a few. Like how do the jets perform with, with all the changes that they have? Levian Val come into them. How big of an impact is that going to have? Will Sam darnold the? Veteran is second go round. Will anybody be able to push the New England Patriots? Probably not. Probably not. Miami dolphins. Will they be better off alot? What's up with them? Are they gonna find a quarterback? Do they trust the guy they have 'cause that's been the problem for them man? Will New England miss. Cronk hausky. Probably, but Tom Brady is just so damn good that he'll find other guys, we know that they'll get other guys form..

"So the NFL has released as cool poster on their Twitter account, Instagram, one hundred days out. We got one iconic player, quote unquote from each team. There's some interesting, some interesting choices on here if you take take a first glance here, so let's Steelers. One is juju Smith. Schuster dealers Judah Smith? So they have mixed some new players in just to throw it the one on the top left the first one, you see, if you're going left to right. Like we all read here in the United States of America, and most countries across the globe. That's Jim Brown, who's the Brown. Okay. Yeah. So you got Jim Brown's the Brown. Bo Jackson is the raider MAURICE Jones drew is the Jaguar Jaguar. I mean, but you're Smith Schuster's and interesting choice for the Steelers marriage the same Jillian hall of famers. Yeah. I mean Barry Sanders is the lion. Randy moss is the Viking Lawrence Taylor is the giant Randall Cunningham is the eagle the and then you wanna talk about one would say, bounceback, Michael Vick is on an NFL one hundred poster for the as the falcon. I wonder what Seahawk fans think of the BAAs being the choice of Seattle Seahawks. Had Steve large a hall of Famer Russell Wilson quarterbacks. We, we literally could choose fifty others before we get to the boss. You could choose one hundred others before you get to the ball, a little curious Dion as the cowboy you could've, had a on the falcon can not have not have any Michael Vick controversy, which will come and have either Emmett Smith. Roger Staubach Marshall, Faulk would point out that Dion should have various uniforms, higher acid, which always Marshall's around fun thing to just. Wasn't the forty Niner? But it but him is a falcon out of probably been an interesting choice. More Sammy Baugh, was the Redskins choice going all the way back to the but I'm, I'm telling you, some of the stuff that the NFL's putting together for the NFL one hundred campaign is intended to be thought and debate provoking. That you will see it's working as you will see it's working what else over there, a couple of things kind of bummer for me, Dustin Pedroia, as really having a tough time coming back from rehab on his injured knee and had a very emotional press conference yesterday talking about his playing future. I'm not sure you know, I you know, I think that's, that's the part of, you know, the time right now is, is figuring that out, you know, I've been lucky to, to be with this organization and to deal with the people in our training room and our doctors and some fortunate, you know, the type of injury that I that I had, and I have no I'm just trying to listen to everybody and try to do the right thing. And then they care about me. And you can't say that about about everybody, you know, every team or things like that. But these everybody, you're truly cares about me and, and, you know, I love him for. So great Red Sox player. Let me ask you. This is at the end ask you this. First of all, do Red Sox fans blame Manny Machado for this for that, for that slide and spike in them, which it looked like it was in on his upper half definitely kind of started. Okay. Yeah. So let me let me ask you about this here. If this knee injury does not allow to take another at-bat. Is he Cooperstown weather? I know he's Red Sox hall of fame were give the air and the major part of two world championships. Obviously didn't play. I ask you, sir. Probably not only eighteen hundred career hits. One of the best defensive players of his era. Four time gold Glover definitely think he gets his number retired by Boston. I think so too, but not Cooperstown, I don't think so trying to be objective here as much of the great baseball player though him when he was a minor leager in Portland. Did you really have did you interview them like one on one not one on one, but I saw him play went to a few games when he was playing Brockman NPD show. PD PD and Brockman, I'll give him top billing PD shorter than I am. But great guy great player. Great face of the Boston. Unofficial team captain. Right..

If it's at sarahspain at Jason one Gough, let us know what you think about Russell's video in which quarterback, you would least or most like to see make one of those not for the reason that you want them signed, but the video itself Louis Riddick ESPN NFL front office inside can absolutely do this voice. And I think he just doesn't naturally he was on get up this morning and talked about the Seahawks deal. Think about how you want to win football games. You don't mess around with a guy. Like Russell Wilson who even Becton thirteen and fourteen was a big part of your success. So if you wanna go ahead and take the airgun route as I like to call it and say, hey, look, you know, what we can always dress another quarterback and then execute philosophy. You know, we'll have a young quarterback on a rookie contract. And then pay everybody else, and we'll be great because that's the model that works right now. Go ahead. But I think they realized that look we don't wanna mess around with. What is obviously the most important is this makes you sports. We heard maybe a rumor that the giants might be look into bring in Russell, and he might wanna play their Seahawks put that to bed real quick. And as far as any other team as much as C essentially gave them a deadline and threatened to leave Adam Schefter said basically, no one else was in a position to get him. Not that there's no other team that could use him. He's great. But to have to give up what you'd need to for a trade. And then pay him the way that the Seahawks just did wasn't realistic. He's one of the very few guys in the NFL. That's the cure all like, he can cure so many ails on your football team. I've said statistically since he came in the NFL. They have the worst performing offensive line in the NFL yet. They've won ten games every year he's been there. But one, and that's when they went nine games. So he's got more completions two guys that have been undrafted. Then drafted he's done more with less than any quarterback in the NFL since he's come to league. Now, that's Danner Lobski. He was on this morning with Golic and wingo and said the things about Ross that make him great are also the things that can make him hard to protect. So some of the numbers that you see number of sacks. He's taken etc. Are exacerbated at times by his mobility in the fact that it's hard to know when he's gotten rid of the ball, and when he's freelancing back there. But Paul hembo, tweeted out since twenty twelve in his career Russell Wilson pressured the highest in the NFL hit on pass plays the most in the NFL worst line pass protection rate. And yet he's still started. All. One hundred twenty five games including the playoffs and leads all NFC quarterbacks with Eighty-three wins. This is a guy who gets it done and. He is Seattle football. He's made a worldwide brand Steve large Cortez. Kennedy guys like that legends before him Seattle is an actual NFL brand because of Russell Wilson. And of course, the legion of boom, you gotta sign your quarterback when we get into this later gospel talk about the way that this might affect other quarterback deals, and maybe we'll play that sound coming up Red Sox Yankees square off for the first time this season. "CBS thirteen which is a television channel in Sacramento. The capital of California Sacramento. And you know, it's not the case Steve large Steve large from CBS thirteen Sacramento is on the case. This is funny. So before I played some of the audio. What is the right button? Well, apparently over the last couple of weeks in a state building in downtown Sacramento. A button was installed. That says riot. R I o t right. When you think a right you'd think of a melee, you think of just the throng of people. They're smashing windows. They're flipping automobiles. Their lighting him on fire. The police down there with their riot gear on and rubber bullets and tear gas water cannons. This is crazy. So you look at the video or the images of the panel. Of the elevators you get into the elevator car. And of course on the side of the elevator. Yet, you have the panel with all the floors, you know, first floor lobby I third fourth fifth. This happens. Have I think twenty four floors, and you have all the different buttons next to twenty three and push the button. It's twenty three bucks. You've got the the open and closed door. You've got the the whole you've got the the the fire alarm button all this. And then at the very top of the panel. There was a button installed. And again, it's the same shape as like pushing floor twenty or twenty one it's the exact same button. And above just says riot r I o t. And folks were like freaking out. What is this? Why is why it on a button inside the elevator? And it's inside I guess a bunch of the elevators at the California Department of tax and feed ministration building. This is on fifth and n streets in Sacramento, according to channel thirteen CBS in Sacramento. The employees in the building they say that just showed up, and they had no idea. And no one said why a riot. But was in store. What are you push it? And it initiates a riot. A state worker by the name of Tanya Ballard. She says, it's bizarre. No one knew why they're there. They didn't say anything about him. Just that. Hey, don't touch them. I'll tell you right now that if there's ever a button that says don't touch I'll touch if there's ever a button in an elevator. That says riot I'll tell you right now pushing the damn thing pushing that button, no doubt about it. So here's the story. The building is managed by the State Department of general services, and they they put out a statement that said quote the buttons were installed as part of our overall safety and emergency plan covering variety of scenarios, including the need to have the elevator. Not reach the first floor. The wording is in the process of being changed because well, the riot button doesn't quote effectively reflect what the purpose is. And we apologize for anyone who is distressed by. The wording. What what are the buttons? Could we have installed in the elevator like cable snap? Gas in the elevator term IB kind of stuff you put on a button riot. So what you can surmise. Here is the riot button would aluminum eight. If in fact, there's a riot at street level. So that the elevator doesn't go all the way down to the riot. What about the stairs? So if you happen to be the elevator you're coming down for the seventeenth floor. And suddenly a riot breaks out. The elevator riot button illuminates and the elevator will not dump out into the lobby on the first floor right in the middle of the riot. This could be the dumbest thing was are. They expecting riots is this some type of California state Intel that riots are right around the corner. I was further south, of course, back in the late sixties. But, you know, the watts riots the great Sacramento riots of twenty thousand nineteen this play some of the audio, and we'll have the story in the link to every it'll be on the Schnitt lists today. I mean, put Theriault player he he propelled that team to another level TD really did when I think of gale sayers guy that could play in the air right now. And be that player that he was back in the sixties. That's what that's what you look at players. Can you can you take gale sayers? Played in the sixties and put him in the in the two thousands. Would it be that same guy? And yes, the way we look the running back position because he's shifty. He's fast. He's he can do it. All let me get to what the hall of fame says is our mission honor the heroes of the game preserve its history. Promote invaluable, celebrate excellence everywhere. That's what the hall of fame says their mission is heroes. And again, I'm not gonna mention Julian element by name here. But if I were to mention him by name, I'd say MVP was super. I actually believe in some numbers matter more than others postseason. That's it without the postseason, Terrell Davis. Lynn Swann wouldn't be in the hall of fame. But when you produce what it matters, the most I just think and again, I'm not saying Julian Adam and right now as a hall of Famer, I'm if he's does some more work before he gets out of here. It's not a ridiculous conversation. I just think we've turned it into a fantasy football thing. And everybody wants to go to pro football reference and punch in the numbers on it. Right now. Oddest guys got to know the first thing thing is is when when they plan these Super Bowls and all of a sudden, they're in the hall of fame. Now, I'm not saying Jimmy, Julian element. But but all of a sudden plan is Super Bowls and all all of a sudden, they should be in the hall of fame. That's that's BS. It really is. Because I'll say it players the hall of fame players. I'm gonna talk about the guys that I know we talk about guys that got in the hall, and you like. Get in here. I mean, just be honest. Just like I did you play we play against him say Dijana double team worried about him. I mean, so it's don't get me wrong. This here is is somebody is whitewashed. It is not Tim some of it's not the to reality. The reality of a football. We noticed like you notice like notice like between those between those lines when you're out there playing hard..

"I mean, there's a certain group of guys and you still like the all time NFL great. So he's like Walter pain. You say the whatever quarterbacks now it's Brady it's Montana. You want to you know, Lawrence Taylor. But who are some of the guys that are not maybe in the first couple of names like that offer echelon who you look at their full career, like Lara FitzGerald. You like I love that. Because it's underrate what you're asking. Basically is underrated hall of fame. Shirley, a sneaky good career whose name you don't really hear about a lot. That's yeah. Right. Right. Like Andy Dalton over retire. And people say, oh, maybe we didn't appreciate him because his numbers are there. But you know, that's a good example. Yeah, you're saying. People universally might say, maybe a little underrated. But I'm talking about these high end performers that don't get their due. When people start doing as I do, I go Randy moss, and Jerry Rice, and I think Antonio Brown rightly now places in the top three of Super Bowl era wide receivers. And then what about Michael Irvin? What about Steve large people spaghetti's, right people? Don't throw Larry fame into that makes enough. I think the best category to put Larry in is the is what players is they're the greatest disconnect from fan appreciation to football player appreciation. If you've ever talked football players. They you say, Larry FitzGerald, and they immediately go greatest hands ever play the game greatest set of hands on a receiver to have ever played the game. Like, they don't hesitate. They don't flinch. They don't stutter they immediately come with it. And they're like well. Yeah. He's absolutely one of the all time greatest receivers. And it's not even close. And that's the one thing they point to is. There will never be never worry better set of hands on a guy who had. To catch a ball. I don't like fans really think about that. You know is how important that is to a position where you're asked to catch a ball. And the guy drops nothing that. Yeah. And it seems like I'm trying to think of other examples of who that guy is I guess an quantum Bolton Orlando paces in that conversation like because it was it was the greatest show on earth. And they don't realize that man was mammoth. He was the best left tackle he and Jonathan Ogden at the same time dominated the NFL because they wrecked. One half of a defensive line. You could not get around him Kurt Warner's blindside was protected because of him. What's what what was the guy's name who followed him? Who follow Kurt Warner and they had a run to the Super Bowl. Mark bolger. Mark Bolger was throwing for five thousand yards because Orlando pace was out on that left tackle just racking dudes, and they couldn't ever get to them. I think that that to me is the one guy that pops up handsome. I a guy that who when he went out and went into the hall of fame was like, he's great. And then it's forgotten since historic when as a quarterback of that team like Emmitt Smith was obviously one of the best running backs of all time. And I think people say, oh, well, it was easy for Troy went to do what he did because he had Smith in the backfield. And he had Michael of and, but I don't think that diminishes his achievements as a quarterback. And I I don't think he's given. You know, what I think I have not not that anybody cares enough about my opinion. But I feel like I have kind of fed into or perpetuated this Emmett Smith thing, and I think at some point now he sort of slid into anyway. Sadly underrated or under appreciated. I mean, yes, they did have that the triplets aiding pass attack had the great offensive line. But man that guy bang away and just broke your spirit and second half over and over and over again. I mean that was the story those Cowboys I mean, I'll I'll always tout for and I talked with him at the Coliseum a couple of months ago about this every time I see Eric Dickerson. I bring the subject up that he's underrated because he made it look too, easy to gliding style. He never seemed to have to dive to make an extra yard..

"Of the sharp guys will jump on that one and then come back. And if it does it that magic number three, I mean have a nice little middle there. But I kind of wait a little bit. And and check it out. This is one that I'm probably not going to get involved in on the side. You know, I respect New England. And I understand that they've got the experience, but you know, personally, sometimes all four forego the. The side or even stressing and a game that is close to call. And again, I give the edge to New England. But it's probably a game. I'll sit back and and get involved in some of the props, but probably sit back and root for the Rams and just kind of enjoy the game every now and then when I think there's an edge. I'll go for it. And again, if I were going to play it, I would think the edge would have to be with New England just from their overall experience in the way that this team is finds ways to win. And again, they take advantage of what's given to them if they don't earn it themselves, and, you know, quite frankly, Kansas City if they don't line up in a neutral zone. They win that football game. They had four opportunities in overtime where they had a New England third and nine and ten on three times. And every time it was gronkowski. Or it was somehow these guys that should be doubled were not doubled. And Ataman seemed like I mean, and you gotta give this credit. I'm here. Coming out of the MAC the mid American conference right there in your neck of the woods and a guy coming out as a quarterback, and is turned himself into one of the most valuable players in this game. He finds the soft place in his own or against this guy is just that good. And he doesn't drop anything near him. He's got those Steve large enhance, but he's got that speed. He's a little mighty mite. He's tougher than nails and really on the interception by Sorensen talking about targeting. I mean, he got tattooed big time on that play after the interception to where he just got blasted right there in the helmet. So yeah, I like the way that targeting is looked at college football. But I really wish that they would look at it with intent if there's no intent I would take away targeting because sometimes it's a game of football. There's going to be where defenders or or.

"It is nine eight nine seven three coming up in about fifteen minutes or so. Finally for the first time. I heard that flopping isn't that great for you? Blew my mind to not just the dance. Oh, good. Ditto. Then that's not good for you identify lossing. And neither is the dance floor is is not good for you as well. So we'll be talking about that about fifteen minutes right now a little bit of Seok news. According to field Yates, this news came in earlier today. Former Los Angeles Rams kicker. Sam thicken was signed to a reserve future deal by this yellow Seahawks. Let me ask you a question occasionally, I'll hear that word signed to a futures contract. Do you know what does that mean? I just think that it's just not a really guarantee, you know, what I mean they did did some signings. They did about eight or nine the other day. And it's just an opportunity for them to try out. Come the training camp. Get on a team. See what happens and we'll see get opportune. I'm sure they're going to bring in some other kickers in. There were kinda sign them as well and get it opportunity. And Dan if they make the roster the fifty three man roster. Then they're good. So it's a way of saying we're interested in. Yeah. We would like for you to be around. Just so you can see whether you're fit for our team. It's kind of like being on Tinder to see Alex swept right on Sam. Let's look to be honest. I'm sad, dude. I'm sad that I'm not watching Seahawks playoff football this weekend. Are you really I am? I mean, I know that the Seahawks were not supposed to do as well as they did this year. But I felt like it started to especially as the restoring to kind of get rolling late in the season the stern to kind of take on that feeling Kelly when with this this thing could actually maybe go a little bit. It felt like there was starting to pick up a little bit ahead of steam. And then it just I don't know. I'm I'm actually the opposite. And I'm going to say something, and I hope you kinda makes sense to some of you out there that are Seahawks fans. And even if you're not that's fine too. I think outside of the Seahawks to Super Bowl runs right one when they want to both forty eight and then he went back to Super Bowl forty nine outside of those two seasons. I think this season right here was the most exciting Seahawks season. And here's why because they gave us way more than we thought that we would get they overachieved this season. There is no way in the world that I thought that the Seahawks would Win Tin. Games and only lose six in the regular season. Even when it came down to the playoff game. Did they lost to the Dallas Cowboys? They could have gone either way. But it was just exciting to see with was so view, go by the experts if you will, and it doesn't even take an expert. It doesn't take really rocket science to say, hey this Seahawks. Defense is going to be missing some key members of that defense, and you're going to start off with the legion of boom you're talking about Earl Thomas Richard Sherman. Tila, Kam chancellor, and then when you're on the defensive line, you're saying Michael Bennett and in cliff April kind of just walking around the stadium. You like how many of these poachers after take down? Right. Oh and also cagey right only played five games this season because he was hurt the entire part of the season. So for them to overachieved that way. And I believe they overachieved. I'm sure the Seahawks don't believe that way. But the reason why I'm not as sad about the hawks not being playing this weekend. I mean, it would be nice. I feel okay. And I thought. What they did. Well, and I thought the most important part is is they had they have momentum's now going into this next season. With a lot of those rookies and young guys being out there. We kind of get through to get established see who they are else's solid rookie class to top to bottom. Yes. There are a lot of a lot of dudes, especially when it seemed like some of the off season conversation was about people like Michael Bennett, and Richard Sherman who kind of progress past a certain point where they were kind of the I felt like when they first starting out. Everybody was kind of on equal footing for a while where it was kind of like everybody kind of buying all the wants. And they kind of all come up together. And then you had some people to start to separate themselves in being truly skilled, and I'm glad that they've gone on to other things. But it's I feel like this is also a testament to the fact that Pete Carroll's years spent in the college system, he's constantly used to getting new people coming in. And the fact that you can't really fall in love with anybody. Because maybe. The best you have them for what three years, right? So you have to kind of always be thinking about with the idea that like that doors are very revolving door. I think the secret as someone who has been fortunate enough to be around the Seahawks organization for fifteen now sixteen years, and I think the secret and that makes pekair association, and I think as some of the reasons that Mike Holmgren was success was well when he was head coach is I believe that with coaches, teachers coaches teach teachers coach, however, you wanna do it when it comes to that. I always use the saying people don't care how much you know, until they find out how much you care right in the case of the Seattle Seahawks. Would we have been currently seeing with Pete Carroll being the head coach of this team? That's what's happened. He has taken a bunch of players over the years. And they have become superstars Allah almost dang near hall of famers because Bobby Wagner. He's going to walk into the hall of fame. Russell Wilson will probably walk into the hall of fame, and we can keep going with others. But those players become hall of flame players because. Yes, coaches can know a lot right? Like, you can't become a coach in the National Football League, drew and not know a lot about the game of football. But how you get your players to respond. They respond based on if they figure out that you care. And I think over the years that is what we have seen with this team had a question for you though random if you can only pick an have one jersey for the rest of your life. I'm going to ask you, and I'm going to ask the Online Trading Academy text line nine eight nine seven three one Seahawk jersey for the rest of your life. This isn't about who is the best. This is about your favorite Seahawk of all time pick twelve. You cannot pick twelve I'm really tempted to see Bobby Wagner because I feel like from the very beginning. He I love attitude. I love his I love his mentality. I love his work ethic. There are so many things about him that I think are a fantastic role model for just other athletes for other for young people. I feel like he's somebody that I can point to me like that dude. What he does for the NFL, you could take that work ethic, and you could prescribe it to anything if you if you approach things the way that he approaches the game you'll have success. So you just said Bobby Wagner again Trading Academy. Sex lies ninety nine seven three. I'm curious about who your favorite Seahawk if you could only pick one of all time. And here's what they think. That's crazy. An interesting is you said Bobby Wagner, and by the way, Steve largest is coming in like crazy right now. But you said Bobby Wagner and some will say Russell Wilson. But just think outside. Side of Steve Largent who by the way. It's it's hard for you to go against Steve large. And I this in two thousand eighteen I was able to interview Steve Largent six times. And people say, gee, are you bragging? Yeah. I am. Yes. It's probably one of the greatest things ever happened in my life five. Yes. Steve large is an amazing, man. So have you picked the large? No problem at all. But the fact that you would pick Bobby Wagner, and some would pick some of the players of this era debt, just let you know, just how special it has been during this era so special that in years to come ten fifteen twenty thirty years we are going to be talking about. Now, you can talk about Steve large at all you want to because he is a great football player. And he was a great player. He's a great human being. But we're you gonna talk about when you tell stories about some of the greatest football you ever saw you're gonna tell current day Seahawks. Oh, absolutely. You know, what I mean, you got to tell those stories right there. So there's there's still things that this team has done. There are the individual achievements that I still scratch my head over just even just this year, Bobby Wagner leaping over the leading over the line to try and block that field. I mean, that's incredible. There are pe- Carol has always loved special human beings when it comes to athleticism, and I feel like that has been something that I don't know if we're fully aware of what a tremendous showcase of human nature we've seen throughout these years. I choose twenty four marshawn Lynch I wear that for I would wear that for the rest of my life. He is the number one reason why I got into radio. Now, it's time to throw to Cairo real radio tied traffic.
