"I didn't know say actually an eight year old would know how to say those things you know. Excited botched I was so excited. But the very first thing I said that onset I think bought me a lot of credit with everybody because again it was my first time doing anything like this. I told like Our director Photography Eric Edwards who work with Gus Van Sant, and abbots how like all these esteemed people? Like there's a lot of those people on the like St candidates won an Oscar I think he was sound designer sound engineer and I go look. I don't know everything about directing I. Don't know everything about lighting or production design or. Has the things you guys do but I do know everything about the story. So when it comes the story, please just trust me on that and I'm going to trust on you. To do whatever it is. You think is best for this film and that bought me a lot of credit I think as opposed to like I. got this Shit. I didn't have shit I was in my head on days, but we always made our day which I'm really proud about because if you go for budget. So when you say you fought for that Guy Alex. Like, who were the? who were the entities working with you to make this film like how many how I'm curious about like notes and stuff like who had knows? Was it just pretty much vincent and and Am Billingsley? For, the script itself Yes when it came to casting obviously have your investors that want to see a return they wanNA global return and you get all the schematics and analytics of names, what they mean and all this other. Bullshit N N Vince to his credit was. Like. This is a love letter to stand up comedy. So let's make it a love letter stand up comedy and it wasn't necessarily about the biggest name or the or shoehorning actors. There was there was a conversation about putting more actors in all those peripheral roles and. I think it was such a great move to like like I. Mean this is gonNA sound silly. But we ended up talking about Neal Brennan this morning over Fried. Chicken. For like an hour just because we saw in the movie last night and more like a, and then I stopped like dude to see this movie and they'll be talking about like they'll be like exploring all the different comics. It's like part of the Easter egg hunt. The movie? Yeah. Well, it's. It's funny. 'cause like throughout the course of the film, it's like a muppet movie. Almost there's all these cameos if you're if you're comedy San Right and then I remember talking to you because one of the Times I talked to you, you didn't believe me once again and I was like I gotta make it up to Burke because it really it really did hurt my feelings that I really wanted to make something happen. So I go to. Go to this new way Improv. Okay. And I go. To the older Improv I shout. The old brain. Ginny, goes on the road at the end to you know to this new club We had a an exterior shot and I wanted a really beautiful marquee and A. headliner Jimmy's name underneath it. Okay. So I set it all up I go to the Improv I get them the graphics between eight and eight Oh five on like a Tuesday they headed up their to film this thing from different angles. So go there I shoot it. It's great. It was you was Bert Kreischer with the hat no-shirt on Bert Kreischer Jimmy or will chew.

So so good in that scene was sodium unto film. Again that had happened to me in North Carolina, and I was telling Tom and Courtney about it and they're like, no way. Mike Year. So. So so when I was doing it, I was actually kind of like really nervous because it took me back to that like sense memory thing. But it was so fun to see Tom is like there's an actual cop car they're like, yeah. Second play with the lights and go this. So that Speaker Shit that was all him just improving and and we took the best lines from it. But that was that was a crazy scene of film and the craziest part was his wife Christina was do was due within twenty four hours series like I might have to leave at any moment because I'm going to have a kid where like let's go. "Well. As we always do, we always think the fans the sending those things was that recorded under a pillow. Doesn't. It sound like it's coming from like next door. It sounds yeah. It's like so well done and yet it's something happened in the final mix that. Went South. All right. Here we go. I'M GONNA, go to the Here we go. Oliver Pardo the answer here's the email the answer is. Seven up. Massive Lithium, which is the main special ingredient of seven up. Wow Our editorial is is how I should handle this He's got a suggestion you might have to be loose with WHO wins because I will be amazed of someone got this exact if it has something to do with lithium. Lithium. On the periodic table or something but I'll let you be the judge. I agree. If somebody had said lithium at all, they would have won Edad store that would have been ridiculous if anyone had got bow. Okay. Well, there's your there's your question and your answer today Once again I, go what? What's what is the? What was the other question I? After one o'clock. Let me text them and bring them in. Okay I So. Because because I'm that guy now that now that the question has been answered and I can look it up I looked it up. So. I'm reading the name and I'm I'M GONNA assume that this way is this handwritten by by Albert Griffin Part of this is not handwritten Serrano. His because when I read the wikipedia entry, it says that the original product was named the BIB label. Lithium. Lemon Lime Soda. You know what he may have gotten hurt here with Auto Corrado correct autocorrect changed it to litigated. You're right Oh man Elliott totally would've gotten this right if it had been lithium. That name more makes more sense litigated made no sense with the aid makes more sense and it contained lithium citrate a mood stabilizing drug until nineteen, forty eight. That's what trump on now. Right. We'll listen I still think I disagree with him I think that's a great question. Even if autocorrect screwed him over, it's tough. Good question the very, very difficult but very good also. Elliott as a child, get the fuck out of. Your Bullshit. Today. I wasn't sure. I wasn't sure if perhaps you miss read it or something, but I see autocorrect is that's always on the. There's a lot of precedent for that APP. Yes hang on. Let me let me get my son. You guys promote Steve's movie that fifteenth. What. All this, this is a totally pointless question but just to kill time, what do you like better sprite or seven up Steve No? Seven up only because I grew up with seven up. It's what my mom always had. She liked seven foot sprite. I can't tell the difference between sprite or seven up as much as I can tell the difference between zero missed and seven up. I would say definitely seven up his better than Sierra mist. Horrible it is I. Don't like it at all. remissed you do. Yeah. It goes sprite seven up Sierra. Mist Yeah. Boy Oh boy argue composure as so everybody can see you Sheila. That's Steve. Byrne what's up buddy? You remember him from not watching Sullivan and son. What? so Little problem autocorrect hurt you a little bit here so everybody can. Return here I'll show you. So nobody. Got It. Right. By the way a Steve was the closest by reading I just repeating your question. So here's what happened here is you wrote Here's the question changed Biblical Lithium Lithium changes to litigated. So autocorrect. But that doesn't matter when none of us were going to get it the. We're GONNA get the recent rate question. Yeah we love the question the the reason we brought you in because since we all got it wrong. We were curious what the other question was that you oh. Yes. I did not to use. Yeah. So the topic was the same right taken up. The same topic The question was really boring in two thousand thirteen. Lot drink became the most popular drink in America. All right in two thousand, thirteen points awarded for this. But let's quickly go round and every take a guess Garin. Fanta. Fanta. All Right Elliot. Oh. CRAP I. Twenty thirteen this begin to popular drink in the in the world. In America, states of America something must have happened that made something popular but I'm just going to say it's not going to be this RC Cola. Oh No it's not gonna be that in fact, I believe they went to the company and kicked somebody right in the face nobody cared for it. Anymore introduction thirteen I. Just I know it's going to be something connected to like an event of some sort. For Royal Crown by the way. Yeah. Go Ahead Matt I'M GONNA Guess. Red Bull Game I. Steve, what's yours before I gave mine. This is going to be a horrible answer, but I can say bottled water. Oh, Jeez I. Disagree. I think that's a great I'm GONNA I'm gonNA say Monster Drink. Red Bull, kind of busy. Version of that Elliott. Please listen to where Oliver. Give you the answer. looked. Right at him and said Elliott. That's not even starts. It's just there's I'm worried I'm like Donald Trump junior I'm worried about you know yeah we we should. We should get father in a home. There's no question about that. Oliver please tell everybody with the answer to that is it is bottled water. Well done it. Since. One Thousand, nine, Hundred Ninety two until twenty, twelve, it was coke, and then for some reason, it became water. Nice I, think that has a lot to do with Hollywood because Hollywood loves that bottled water boy like to know. That you walk into a set. You get you get that you walk into an office. I don't like when they give you a glass of water. Yeah. Great spending. A bottle to come there comes glass. John used to glass of room temp water. Here you go. Yeah. No. Thank. You. Give me a bottle I. Know it's bad for the environment but I don't need to I. Don't need to share a glass with that guy. Certainly, not with Cova going I'm not taking any meetings by the way. Which curious All right. So That was also true that was also true before covered right? Yep. Now, covert is giving me excuse I'm very well for me. show business did me a favor with covert and shut it down and? So now, I don't have to feel guilty every day for nobody calling me for a meeting. Steve weren't with twenty-five Garin where'd you go with? Fifteen fifteen? Leader in the clubhouse right now Elliott twenty-five twenty-five ties with Steve Byrne garin still leading the clubhouse. Matt Twenty Four, twenty, four Garrard's got fifteen. But the host Jimmy Carter went with seventeen. Wins. The five dollars this week Jaren way the Jeremy. Herbal Trivia Tin Money for the Oliver Group Puerto, question boy that's got a lot of sponsors. I've three times with my bet. Oh congratulations, have you gotten? Any right? Now Edible Garin is cleaning up by playing smart while Elliott, Ni- are obsessively pursuing the season long goal of highest score total at the end of the CF I won't lie. Unless the category something that I legitimately have no chance of ever knowing yeah we didn't have any chance of knowing this. Well, I know about drinks guy loves. About seven, you said Royal Crowns seconds ago. Yeah that's her. You don't get it. All right. Listen we're done Steve Burns been here. I'm going to say a win Steve I'M GONNA put this down in the wind column. Thank you well, I look I. I just want to say this was I had a great time last time in the studio with guys. "Thank you Steve. You're very kind man, but on your sister Christians in up your Cochran. So. So anyway, my my mind was going along with the like the fact that soda was weirdly marketed as being something healthy. In the early days of the early part of the twentieth century. So my answer is that it seven up refers to the seven vitamins and minerals contained. Oh that's I don't think that's a bad answer to I. Think it's a good one. Yes. I kind of do. Nobody saw that twist coming at the end there maybe even including me. was like you got a weird moment where you could. You couldn't do the job you had to be honest I actually I don't I don't think that's a bad guess, but we'll find out together. I check in with the director Steve Burns area to also to stand up comedy. He's got the movie the. Opening act coming out with that Jimmy O. Yang Fund young actor also stand up comedy. and then he's got the Thursday night lineup at the comedy store is the rest of the cast their and guessing that maybe some real actors do some extra Rocca I work. On this thing, we'll find out when we watch. Burn Here, Steve, do you have a guest. So obviously have a guess what is your guests for the seven up question I put down and twenty five bucks at has seven ingredients and that I was listening to the description and I thought it was it was in reference to truncating. The title of what it was originally called then. The fifth time I heard that there's only six. Yes. things associated bad and I thought Oh Jeez so I'll just stick with seven ingredients. The description tells you probably won't be. I'm Yup Yup. I, mean somebody had to do it right? Well, you know what that Steve Burns everybody's going to do and it's Bernie I mean there's no question about it. That's burnings birdie burning. You. At all smoke a to give me therapies doing. St St Bernard was a baseball player that would be his nickname Bernie, and they all think it's interesting. Bernie was doing good two three innings and then Bernie lost it. Yeah good for you. You put a why at the end of it rick was pitching a fucking no, no, and then Bernie talk to. See that's proof that Steve's to play baseball he knows the terms. By the way, condolences to my fellow White Sox fans for the white sox not getting out of the first round of the playoffs was heartbreaking. They had a lot of opportunities. do I think the manager should be fired? I'm not one of these guys but my answer is, yes, I, do I don't I do not think this manager can get us the next level and I'll tell newest face through a third party. My guest by the way is the. I didn't know how to word this, but there is there's the proper wording on this when something has a number like cove in nineteen was discovered in in two, thousand, nine, hundred, I'm GonNa say that this formula is the seventh formula. Like thirty like W. Ford again like something like that. This is the seven fifty seven. Yes. They've landed on the seventh one was we got it yeah. Put it up good ended up Chris and clean and have some Jamaican sell it for us. Let's go. So that's what I'm going with the seventh version. All right. Let me read it to you. Steve Burns here guarantees here. His underpants are here Elliott I'm just proud of us for coming up with five different answers to this question. It's we came up with different Steve Jobs. "So twenty seven Steve Burns here's get the new movie coming out is already available on demand from what I'm told the reorder skull, the opening act you can get over there at all. Any of your services is If you, as Steve, set of your Red State you could go to the motion picture house and see it. There where are your mask dumb asses and or yet I I'm told that it may show up at a driving and So that's a good way to say it to safety of your own car bring your own food have a little picnic right there in the car and enjoy yourself I'm enjoying the as I've thought about many times during the various pop drive ins that we've been to over the last few months. Most. Recently, we saw that Armageddon, we saw that last week as we talked about, the Bruce Willis Comedy. Let's check him in maps keeping things lockdown over there. Never not funny headquarters in. Sherman Oaks California. Steve Burma's just distracted by a plane going overhead Steve What was going on. There was something above the Sorry about that. Well, yeah it was a plane. Disappointing move on with your little show. Now Steve Are you outside because your family is inside, you don't want to disturb them or. Is it just as just the best. Internet. The Internet's good it just I just like being outside. I just it's a nice day hours. Figured I myself with the boys, right? Yeah. Right with the boys. You don't get how the kids Stevie say I think you said this night. A, daughter. A son is five eight and five, and are there obviously home doing the the zoom? Zoom School. Yeah. All of it So it's you know it's crazy just before everything went to Shit. My daughters at the age where before she was kind of blase about everything because I do the road maybe forty plus weeks a year and she got emotional. She said I I'm so tired of you leaving I'd love for you to stay home. Can you stop doing this and then like literally the next week I come home hits, dates or canceled. What fucking Fountain did you throw? Up. The whole universe, right. So I've been home she got her wish that's for sure and it is to that point by the way Steve I remember when Oliver got to that right around that same age where it was like when the real really little they don't really know any different and then it that little switch flick flick the switch, and it's like, hey, why aren't you here? You know as much as other fathers seemed to be and. I said you mind Your Business you're lucky. You have a roof over your head. To go out and talk about my penis for a living you mind your. But that is that is the great part about. It, not that there's a great part of covert, but the one of the upsides is yes, being kind of being forced to. Interstate home and be more present and be here every day and so on and so forth. So. but God it could end not because I want to be away from my family in some but I WANNA get back out there man get back out in the world and I want to go to a movie movie theater popcorn. That's what I wanted to. Go, is anybody who's any movie theater opened right just go buy that popcorn and be doing that. That's something happening That's a good question like the late haven't popcorn day. Going, get some popcorn. I'll even overpay for it. I'm happy overpay for even over the overpass already overpaying yeah. You're definitely going over pay for it, but I don't know if they would bother to just to make the popcorn for you. You know actually I think one of the theaters that my family goes to back home. Was Open for concessions. drive-thru through drive up in up you popcorn for your movie night or whatever. So some are are doing, I don't know if anybody who aren't here is I. Don't I would imagine. Let's look into that year. Look into that email me later that information. and. Can you also send me a picture of you wearing those underpants? Those, things to me via email I'd appreciate it. Dutchman mattdoyle magazine mentioned he's over there Hq Matt had a nice family weekend as well. It went by the BELKNAP house editor dropped something off and you guys had a movie night Saturday night writer Saturday night right well, just just my daughter and her best friend from preschool got together and watched something the projector outside and they watch twilight and. I can guarantee no one else was interested in that although I mean maybe at least would have watched it with them but I certainly didn't want to Charlie has no interest. So yeah, that was a girl. That is A. Did, you use the screen, the provided screen It looked pretty cool. Yeah. I like that I like that's green at that's a cool idea. We actually attached it to the we have one of those pop up Whatever those ten by ten umbrella things what are those things called easy up I don't know what the call. Like a canopy yeah. Like it's got the four legs you know you see him at the swap meet or whatever So we just attached it to that and it was great perfect I actually stretch. It was like it was designed for that size thing. So is it fit perfectly and was great? got that I can rent to the side of the garage out here. And it's nice in that projector edit the kids they watched on Friday night. Oliver. And his friends watched minority report. And then at one point I popped out there and they weren't watching it and they all realized that a little too creepy. The kids did not care for it Out of doors. Yeah, that one's a little more adult that I feel like the themes and ideas are maybe a little pre-act that was what the consensus was when they stopped watching you know. Because then they were able to hang out and have fun. Yeah. That's what's funny about kids getting meals. They're not allowed to the they can't see each other at school and and hang out really a normal ways. But so to get together and watch a movie, it's almost like don't you just want to talk like. Of Your made that point. He's like we got because the other time they did they watched. I'M GONNA get this wrong and. Moore's at the golf one you happy goal. And he's like something like that where we could talk over it and it's not GonNa ruin the movie minority report, we couldn't do that. So, I think next time they're going to be watching this opening act I think is what? For next time except for that. Opening. Acting Schindler's list like. Any any any thirteen year old we want to see those sure. Yeah, and there's nothing really happening where you can. You can certainly talk over either those movies. Steve Byrne will get to ever GONNA get Steve's answer just a bit Let's check back in with. Matt. GimMe your answer to this crazy seven question. Yeah Well, you know I immediately thought of I. My first thought was I wish this was a question about Dr Pepper because remember they used to have that thing it was like ten two and four, and that was rough in reference to like to stay regular, you're supposed to drink it three times a day at ten am two PM and four PM. So that's I. Don't remember that. Yeah that that was the original because originally Dr Pepper was made with Plums or something whatever rooms. prunes yeah. I always thought tend to enforce supposed to drive right to and your cock at Fort Trade. Put that underwear..

"Please let this go well but. Was Great and I'll tell you the film was a blessing because Jimmy Leong was the lead and he showed up, he was prepared. He never had to go over his lines I it just like that makes such a huge difference especially for somebody like me who's never done it before and you're trying to make your day to keep the budget. So I really, oh, Jimmy, Yang this garden ferry. At cost at cost? Yes. Course it costs. You can't afford to give giving those things away. That's right. He's good and everything by the way Jimmy o Yang so that I look forward to seeing that and then turning it off were those other names pop up but I? Splash. To certain scenes yeah. I feel like I was I was applying for a job which says last name first name how you put my first name my last name. Okay. I didn't get this job. Steve. To follow up on that because I just had for lots of medical paperwork where I did it, and then you don't you just feel like the dumbest man alive it's like, yeah he couldn't figure that out you. Dumb, ass. and point every every now is last name I first name Lake. So why do we still insist on going Jimmy Pardo? Dumb agree with you. It's then you gotTa Cross it out. So your paper look sloppy. The worst. When's the last time you applied for job by the way? Steve. Oh. God I the last job I had was a waiter in New York City at the. At the Greek restaurant seventy-second in Columbus and I remember my last day work because I was I was starting to colleges and I was able to quit that job. So it it felt great. But that was the last time. I actually applied for anything and Go against Kobe keeps going I'm going to Home Depot be. You'RE GONNA have it your way. That K.. K. Lounge so you want to be very careful in that area. Steve, are you going on the road at all or are you a guy that's doing the drive in movie theater gigs or you're doing any of the UH? Hunkering Down with the family, you the movie coming out why risk getting sick I've done all the hot spots. I've done Miami Phoenix San Antonio, and Vegas art get out there. Let's roll the dice I got two kids and a wife, and I'll go down in flames. Did those and it was I'll tell you the B. be the scariest. The status was because nobody's flying hotels Bacon Kinda it was Kinda Nice perfect for flying traveling. But when George Floyd when everything hit like within forty eight hours I'm in Miami and I'm doing crowd work to warm up the crowd I hadn't been on stage for awhile. So Lot of crowd work and I'm talking to a black couple in time and getting to know them or whatever, and you know there was it was nice and then literally the next guy talked to his white guy and the complete opposite end and I go, sir, what are you doing? He's like I'm a cop and you could just feel the air leave the room and the back of my head and Michael, you can't cut the blue wire just yet. We got we got a finesse away into this and as soon as it happened, I was like. them to a shot together. And I made some jokes, Ping Pong back and forth they did shot together and it was one of those things where I was like I'll never forget this moment as a comic because it was just one of those nice redemptive sweet moments you you have when you do crowd work because ninety percent of the time, it's not the number so. That was that was a little touch and go for GIN hair breezes. Yeah. Pretty wild but it was it felt good. To. Be Honest I thought you were kidding when you said you hit those hot spots you literally went to Vegas you to.

"Weird kid my son He. Doesn't like successful things. I. said I got the Guy from solvent its on Sun and then he said that one too many sons. That's not what's called Steve. Martin? Is Areas take time away from foliage and. He's got this hot new movie coming out Vod that that means voice on demand you yell at Your TV and it gives it to you. He's also like you said, it'll be in the motion picture houses. Maybe we'll be at the drive INS here locally Steve it'll be at the drive ins waiting here for going to do a premiere at a driving. So we'll see about that but just yeah, just really excited about getting it out there and I think anybody who's involved in comedy whereas Ben on the road much like yourself I you'll. I pitch them a tagline you've been to a comedy club, but you've never been on the road and that's the old films about it's about a kids very first time ever got the safe job at a college moonlights as a comedian is passionate comedy and he gets offered his very first road Gig ever on the road opening four coincidentally is favourite headliner while time who happens to be a wash up ninety sitcom actor. That had a really relevant, our special that. You know didn't lost relevance over the years and the whole film is over over the course of four days. And the first half of the film is All, the Romanticism lined up to ms man partying of hanging out with the feature act and the back half of the film is the sobriety isolation in solitude and warming up to this weary road veteran mom and so I. Think you get all three echelons of comedy. You get all the inside baseball to what the light means getting Intros, right fish out of water for the MC and closing the the manager and hoping get booked. Again. So it's all those things and the old adage of nothing good happens after midnight. So you know trying to apply all of that into this film and I think we I think we pulled it off and you wrote and directed this corrector wrote and directed it. Yeah. So it's It was it was an arduous process. You know when when it got green lit, for example, Vince Vaughan said, what do you WanNa do you want to be I said well, I'm too. I'm too old to be the MCA feature and I'm too young to be a headliner like visually what you think of aesthetically to film as I said, I'm just happy to be done said, well, why don't you direct it? So I've never direct anything, he said you never wrote anything before either we're making this. So why don't you go ahead and directed I said Okay Yeah and took all the master classes and Read all the books from. Kazan to direct for dummies. And I felt as prepared as I could and the first day on set the very first day it's Jimmy Yang. Alex MOFFITT and they're doing a diner scene that takes place after morning radio So I'm sitting there, my chair, my assistant director Arby's next to meet Peter. Billingsley that produces there and I'm fucking I'm like I'm over the moon and Michael we should I can't believe this is happening and I'm sitting there and I'm just I'm looking at the Monitor I, get my headset on and already goes you go yeah I'm good and ready. I'm like, yeah, I'm ready and Arty looks at me Guinea, nine I go yeah and he goes you gotta say action. Action. Like a fucking idiot and I'm watching the scene play out and then Jimmy and Alex are improving and they're improving after the scene and hardy already leans in getting you good ago. Yeah he goes they're gonNA. Keep talking. Yeah. Yeah. They're improbably he goes they're going to keep talking until you say cut Jesus Christ. So like the two things in eight-year-old. But other than that. It was it was it was who that was a fun per se but but it was crazy I it's it's the most taxing of any occupation of overhead and I have so much respect for anybody that works on a film especially a director that. You mentioned a couple of the stars that are in this thing who are they? The two is Jimmy o Yang is he the young kid? So Jimmy Yang everything that happens in the film happened to me. So once Jimmy hits the road at semi-autobiographical, it's all the experiences have happened to me. So Jimmy Yang plays like a younger version of May Alex moffitt plays the Feature Act and then cedric the entertainer place. The headliner minutes wouldn't you Cummings Alive Slesinger Kathleen. Madigan Angela Johnson Bill Burr Ken Junk Tom Cigar sleepiest Bars Neal Brennan Roy. Wood. Jr. Orlando Boat, and Chris Border. Quite, a few I know missing some too so. But that's the cast. Yeah sounds really. Did they give you the respect that you deserve as director I mean I hope that comes off right like did these guys all go ahead let's just do go do burn or did they derive on set and go? Hey, there he's our director and we're GONNA we're? GonNa Listen to support your there wasn't anybody that that gave Manny flack and I think most comics you know just came in and did the everybody knew what would happen in a radio scenario? You know so Russell Peters Elisa singer books, whalen they've been on this morning show much like you have in so they didn't need any directing. It was like look you've had a shit time on radio visit. Everybody kind of knew their thing and. I will say that I think most people think because there's so many comedians in the film that it must have been an Improv fest. It really the only Improv that was done was maybe Jimmy stand up at the beginning his his last set I wrote. And then Alex's set and cedric said and everything else everybody pretty much stayed on book it was it was pretty Nice Dynasty was nothing. That's That's That's right. That's Right everybody was a joy to work with I can't say there was any ego or any of that stuff you you didn't have anybody funding it in most of the comics came in and just did one day. So it was who's a pretty easy. All right. Because based on some of the names you listen, I can't believe you I. Believe me. I thought the same one before the day. I was like Oh God. Please let this go well but. Was Great and I'll tell you the film was a blessing because Jimmy Leong was the lead and he showed up, he was prepared. He never had to.

"Five years There's a cast of Saturday night live How about we don't need to bring in these stunt casts I don't I don't get it. Chevy Chase didn't look like Gerald Ford. Accurate didn't look like Jimmy Carter. Guess it doesn't look like Joe Biden. Japan. You'll find one of your cast members Beck Bennett although begged a pretty good Greg Chris Wallace but. Find One of your cast members who can do a Get the cadence down or something and I'd rather it be that you hired this cast. Let them do their job now. As a new season so was there any new cast? There's a couple of new features. Players were very, very not all that featured. Yup I can't even think of. One of them popped up once in a sketch like as a like a one line thing or something, I can't really they all showed up doing one line at some point throughout the show but Melissa VCR nowhere to be found. It's a good point. Yeah. Eighty Bryant was in a couple of things and. Boeing young showed up into this thing at the news. Yeah. I. Think. I think that they've decided that's the way they stay. Relevant is to get the biggest celebrity they can to play the most marquee. Politician or whatever in a sketch and I guess it works because people talk about it. You know people talked about Deniro Being Muller, and they talk about that's all true I. I mean, honestly, I thought Woody Harrelson was a better biden. I thought Jason Sue Davis was the best of all the bio. Right actually that's a good point. He was better. Yeah he was funny. They're all I mean like Jim Carey's funny but. It didn't really. It wasn't for a guy who was famous for imp- impressions early in his career it's not a good impression. It doesn't really ring true at all but it was it was nice seeing a guy not reading cue cards and being present. Yes. And then you when you see others show up in blatantly reading and again I do a podcast or I talk off the top of my head and even though sentences don't come. Through Woodley smoothly. You know what? I've tried to say that fucking sentence proper remember remember Malibu. Marvel. My point is this I know better and we're all winners. I will say this talking about the we were talking about boxing moments ago. We watched the first rocky over the weekend. As part of the quarantine movie festival here at the part of household and I. Hope he doesn't hear me it was the greatest because it was over you know and you know you know your e it doesn't matter how many times you see that movie man you you you you leave on a high it is so great and he is so great net everybody's so great and then you got that the axing scene which so. It's over and all that was really great, and then it was time for bed because it was late into the evening and. He went to brush his teeth and then put his pajamas on and walking down the hall. He's doing the shadow box. I happen to catch him and it was like, yes, that's what you're supposed you after you see rocky to be. So Holy Fuck I just saw that movie and you're supposed to to the. In your head, don't turn it around and. Even the next as like data movie was so great and. Got It. So it holds up it holds up. Awesome. It's up there. I think for me for Jimmy Pardo I think it's up there with the the godfather and breaking away in the top movies that I've that I've ever seen. Then of course shampoos for. So. There's a lot of movies you only one kind of movie it sounds like Jimmy. What's that? I said you to kind of movie it sounds like. One Word Nope. No No. That was a joke. I was being sarcastic. Well was that you typing Elliott. What's that man is typing out his resume to send. If I could suggest ziprecruiter. Dot Com I. Don't know if you put your resume on there. I don't know how that works. ADS for four years. I did have a question. Matt Matt made a point of saying that the Saturday night live is the sketch comedy show of record isn't it? Now for television? Anyway, the sketch comedy show. Yeah there's that too. Yeah. They're they're they're fighting a battle that everyone else is as quick. As basically said fine you can have it Do you there first and you'll be their last because no one gives a shit. Show is. What Garin the sketch comedy show I don't know what that is. Wait am I am I I guarantee Garin I'm sorry. That joke in the very beginning, they called you zero I didn't realize that was going to completely take you out of the game. I meant nothing by literally right now feel like somebody clocked me upside the head with that. I just want to understand what you're asking. I? Don't know the way Elliott just said that it's as if there are two popular sketch shows on the air right now Saturday night live in this mysterious. No. Apologize my ability to communicate is is I. You understand exact opposite of what I think we all. got that we're still going back. Here's what you're. I'm putting quotes joke about. You're lucky that Garin waited with this la to. Stop that nightmare thank you for reminding everybody Jimmy Well It's my pleasure. That's what I do here as the wrangler nickname. But if I did, it would be the wrangler regular You know what? kind of like it maybe I'll start wearing wrangler jeans those seem to be comfortable to nobody but the cowboy, you could drive a jeep wrangler. Just, like King. Regina, maybe we could drag. Your I'm just curious by the way for this video of viewer. Recording in front of a stop light. Legally. Blind you and then goes away I. Don't know what that is. That's weird. Just, my ring light is. Okay that's what it does. It just goes it goes Blah Blah. Anyway, Garin what he was saying there's only one sketch show on. TV So for them to say. To Act, like they're the the or for me to say that there. ASSHOLE. Yeah. But the my my point is they that's the way they produce. The show is to be like. Well, we have to do a debate sketch because everyone else expected the The New York Times of sketch shows to do it and like. No one cares I mean I I guess, yes, ever expected I I would argue in comedy. That's what you shouldn't do it because you should try surprise people you gotTa do I think it needs to be thirty minutes long I don't. And I also don't over these cold open. I think you could come out and do a sketch. One of your six minute sketches after the monologue be that exact because it's also predictable otherwise that's the other thing. I do think honestly that they have to do it because they are known for that. Also. It doesn't have to be the the opening thing and it doesn't need to bore me to tears like I'm. Boring. Yeah, that's why I wish..

High Winds Threaten To Ground Giant Balloons In Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
"Seeing the Macy's thanksgiving day parade in person it's always been on more read Clark's bucket list it is magical and it's just amazing when you think of what all goes into it to create the whole parade she and her husband flew in from Arkansas but unfortunately for her the wind may make this parade the first one since nineteen seventy one with a famous balloons don't fly I'll be disappointed but I also recognize it's a safety thing she says she's glad to at least be here for the inflation watching PK two Snoopy Ronald McDonald all come to life though still tethered to the ground I'm keeping my fingers crossed their diplomacy says he's hopeful asking people to keep the city in their thoughts and prayers our colleague from the NYPD and office emergency management make the big decision early in the morning the balloons can't fly with sustained winds above twenty three miles an hour gusts above thirty four miles an hour the city put those regulations in place after the nineteen ninety seven parade when the cat in the hat balloon crashed into a light post and four people were injured on the Upper West Side Steve Byrnes WCBS newsradio

"The flower the thing is crazy about life you strangle anything it will fight to survive that's that's true of the flower cuts her arm yeah yeah yeah yeah that's true or in the world words of Jeff Goldblum life finds a way that wasn't a jeff global impression on this podcast and I can't touch his impression so you're going to say the Tom Cruise Line when he was on the today show and he goes do you know the history of psychiatric go go psychiatric help man have sex but and I don't know what he's talking about imagine watching that interview now going Oh cruises the good one yeah that's upraising the tables turn would did you ever find reasons to because that's a big to put together a documentary film like this and you just know no the work that is involved with it or maybe you didn't know maybe that was the reason why you jumped in so fully but did you find at any point reasons to talk yourself out of doing it no no because it was always passionate about the story and I was always passionate about telling the story and I knew how to do it the only time I ever really kind of bumped on it was was when you realize the business aspect of it all when the business bleeds into it yeah then you get involved with film festivals and like other people's money is it worth my time yet kind of you're hearing stuff for managers and agents like all this is going to be the and and it just it turns into something you didn't intend to get into it for the first place so we took it to youtube because I was like look what does everybody have everybody has youtube and I want this to be accessible to everybody everybody and Bill Byrne magical at all things comments like do you think we could partner up there like a done deal and just put it up there and I mean you guys know youtube who can be a dumpster fire in the comments section but I mean this thing has been like ninety nine percent positive it's is never seen something where it's redundantly like nice or his fans are coming out of the woodwork and it's really nice to see you told the story so well and you again encompass so much of the human side of this and the footage that you had it's such a solid amount of that too because like even for my folks were watching that we're like starting to remember as they were watching make Oh yeah I remember I remember this guy at some point or they they were so enamored hammered by all the footage and getting to see the you know the here now of it all and to see like the doctor visits that really made it just a lot more human for you to connect to somebody that being like God I like whatever it is in your life like we just touched on like imagine having to lose that you know what I would react for or hey watching it and be having me on saying kind things it's unbelievable the one thing I would I would suggest to anybody that's like in our industry as Nizar and obviously your your creative and your podcast is creative outlet right I never in a fucking million years would have ever thought I would have had a TV show. If I didn't just sit down and write it I never would have thought it would've made a documentary if I just didn't think well this story speaks to me fuck I'll just do it and then I never would have I thought I'd be writing and directing a film about what it means to to leave a safe corporate job and pursue stand up if I didn't just right and I wish somebody had told me that when I was younger because I have done earlier I would've started earlier well I just never would because I thought thought I was always of the mindset like you're GonNa go to Comedy Club you can do your act someone's going to see you and say that's a that's our kid here in star and the vice president to do anything myself except for just show up and do that yeah yeah I just not I'm going to get seen in a club that's what's going to happen and I was at clubs all the time and it never happened that's how that's how was for a beat right for I think in the eighties claw your true you know prominent example example of that dude I mean and let's talk about the movie Feature Opening Opening Act during actor it's a prelude to Jennifer Lopez's second a- At least him yeah if you watch I watch J.lo's the second act your life before that fever opening opening find that out oh times are changing transition how does okay so so which amazing Jovan dot came before see I did yeah I did that before and I was basically on the road I did Sullivan Son and it got cancelled and I was so uh-huh proud of the run we had and what we'd done and it was like this why you move to La you got to do it and I thought second Asian American ever ever Sitcom you know I'll get a phone call at some point I was the first Marco Mortgage Show Yeah Yeah we came on and then then fresh off the boat came on then Dr Ken yeah so it was like it was pretty cool to get it to be a part of that lineage and so do you ever go to Dr Ken and go you're welcome I'll well he was on my show twice and he goes he goes I want to do this and he was asking me a ton of questions so I think I never got a fucking phone call from him show him the fucking let him know that when I was based on the road and it was depressing because it was like nothing's happening and it was like once again let's just put pen to paper so I wrote the opening act as an exercise is to see if I could write a feature length screenplay and while you're on the road on the road just I was tired of like going out and drinking every night I was gonna say like here's another great example of of taking because we can all attest again like the time on the road like you've got I think some days you're like I'm just going to stay in the hotel room and stop and fuck around and then go to shows and and be well residents aren't you wanna go see the city if they got cool stuff to offer and then other times it's like I have worked new maybe actually use this time where I'm even distractions aren't out of your Romo the possibility because you got your phone and computer but for me when I'm away from here just being away makes me feel more like oh I can truly get stuff done you can get down and I think I think we're all at the point now in our careers where you've been to the city's enough that I did the Museum of the things I've done it also I was just Kinda like ward and I told myself I write a page today if I just do one page a day in three months of a screenplay that was my my mindset and then gray mindset but the thing is if you write one page you gotta finish the scene right yeah see row five in a month and a half I am I finished it wow like because you've got so you got momentum going right you start to see what it was and you're like Oh shit I wanNA write that next scene yeah and I thought that the weekend eight weekend would be a great format four a film because it could be contained within four days as because you have your introduction to it and if it's a kid it's an emcee look the whole film is about a kid that's got the job and he moonlights as a comic and then he gets a phone I'm call from his body of fellow comic says do I can't see this weekend in the Pennsylvania Improv can you do what he's like I don't know and then he fucking of course takes the leap right goes goes and now you get to see standup via the eyes of the emcee yeah we're getting to understand what the light is what an introduction is you know going out at night and parting with the feature and having a great yet getting closer to the feature then the headliner assuming and then warming up to the to the headliner who the weekend by Aww Yeah what a great way to display that dynamic because especially through the weekend is that's how I met your auto was hosting format Irvine and by the end of it did he was like no semi coming down we all got like buddied up with Jesse Joyce which was is yeah feature and Jesse and I hit it off and then and then we're all gonna hang out like the next time and and didn't happen but like that was such a a great but I try to keep my distance and you probably a lot of your own experiences from dealing with MC's and did you ever MC or oh for sure yeah I emceed a bit featured and then yeah I wouldn't say 'cause I was more of a New York Comic Yep and then I kinda liked dabbled with a emceeing and featuring but then I once I moved to La I was I had a half hour and then I was I was headlining so we didn't have to do that much because I was already doing like all the sets in the city yeah but everything you're saying is exactly right I mean that is that is the story arc of the film that's awesome and and getting to see the audience getting to be fish out of water via you know Jimmy Yang in this film and the first half of the film is All the Romanticism and optimism partying of with the feature in the back half is all the reality isolation elation sobriety that comes with him finally meeting his childhood hero who's played by cedric the entertainer this road weary veteran amazing so it's all encapsulated in four days and miss the ups and downs and discerning whether or not this is the life you want to leave yeah I I love that you did that because I feel like there's there's there's movies that have been made about stand up and shows her been made about stand up but it usually only focuses on the headliner because that's what the things that people want to see and the headliners liners life this is this is such a great film in that people that are thinking about getting into stand up can go like well what am I going to have to be dealing with when I'm not the headliner during my path up there this your Delia this weekend cedric basically gives them the blueprint for what it takes to be a stand up and it's it's exactly what people told me when I was starting New York I always I always ask all the headlines was it would have to do it right and get up on stage is like it's it and it's great seeing that develops clips from just those two things in cedric denoting at all and it's so funny you say that I got a message on instagram this morning of some guy just being like dude I wanna be a comic what's the one thing that every comic has to be consistent assistant for mice base and hope that Sierra mist is still yeah no is there a is there a part of it that cause again and I love breads like focusing on not you guys are in it I don't know if you know I when in in the hallway when Jimmy is talking to a chip Fontaine the manager of the club great do grind by Neal Oh Brennan who is the gatekeeper of his dreams which is Kinda like based off it's not it's not based off of Dave Strip the guy it's based off the dynamic Dave Stroll Oh being like this gatekeeper for those guys don't know who he is Dave's group is the booker at the at the Columbus funny bone who essentially books every funny bone all over the Midwest based in the south and like if there's a funny bone Dave stroup owns it so so many comics are their goal their their first goal easy go to Columbus Ohio you you great set at the Columbus Funny Dave Stroup sees you and goes wow that person can work.

"And it's this perfect storm and some itself conflicted and he's told he has a year to live and basically when he made the announcement I'm going I I've outlived the doctor's expectations by three years I'm tired of waiting to see if I can return a stage when he made that announcement as a fan as a friend I was like somebody should make this doc I- somebody's gotTa do this is great prompted at I I called them and said can I do this doc and the only reason I really wanted to do it is because I knew about him and Joel I knew about that relationship he had in that story I had had no idea but Dole is born when Jonathan you forget this is before Social Media Jonathan is an international act he's Russell Peters he's killing it everywhere he's an Australian every year he goes to Australia you know this is twelve year old kid backstage can I sign this goes back the next year thirteen year old kid can you sign this and he just gets gets to know this kid and takes him under his wing and Joel is such a fan his father's in advertising he got Jonathan this commercial that paid really well so every year Jonathan would give them a few more responsibilities and eventually at eighteen years old he says will you be my road manager and Joel taking one of the sweetest kindest it nicest human beings I've ever met my life just well-balanced guy and you're taking him at eighteen and throwing them into Las Vegas to be in charge of a drug addict and and there are so many other stories we couldn't put in because we didn't want it to be rick and morty right but to me this relationship between two men that on paper should never been each other's lives they should be friends now they shouldn't know each other by their actions by Jonah's actions but for some reason other it worked and and to me there was this heart warming fraternal bond between these two that I said that's Jonathan's the face Joel Jonathan is the heart and that's what you you have in the dock that is so redeeming where it's not just all doom and gloom where you see this glorious relationship and like it's weird in Johnson makes jokes about it where he goes yeah yeah where I was just hanging out with his thirteen year old kid and bring this thirteen year old boy with me everywhere he's like now they look back on it kind of trippy but when when you when you look at what they were early in Jonathan was goals hero like imagine you growing up in Pittsburgh all of a sudden you get a call from Mary Lemieux going like Hey I want you to be my new Banou Manager Okay Yeah you do yeah and then the fact that Joel's parents let him fly a world away way to be with this guy at eighteen yeah and Vegas and like Joel never indulged he never got wrapped up in the scene he could have gone crazy and he never did meditates hates and stuff and I don't know to me was just that dynamic was so interesting it was as interesting as Jonathan's story arc itself and I thought this would be a great compliment so is that something that you discovered while you were making the film or before like or did you plan that before I did it I I I was working on the opening act this feature young told you guys about future feature film I knew story beats our new store and I was plotting plotting it out my head it was like this could be this 'cause I knew all their stories I knew all their ups and downs in new all their fights because Joel and I are super tight and Jonathan IRA friends so I've been privy to their relationship elation ship all the story beats I knew everything and I was like it could be this huge amid point here's your call to action etc and just thought all flushed out and I call Jonathan I said this is is it this is how I do it he says great I call Joel he said great I call my buddy I went to college with I said get a camera let's let's let's do this. He said great and we edited edited the whole thing in my garage so I go I go on the road Thursday through Saturday and then Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday edited with my Buddy Jason my garage and they were shipped doff a working cut to Brian gets who who's a professional editor and Kareem lined it and waxed wash the car for us and he's done amazing he he just did Steve Bannon documentary and so you guys did all the footage the interview stuff on your that's what you need to get all the videos and pictures and to go with it which I think is what any great dog needs right you need all that stuff to assist the interview so yeah you don't tell the story yet well the good thing is I knew again I knew the story I didn't I was waiting for the film to happen happen with the film of so when I did that interview with Jonathan It was six hours I knew every question I wanted to ask him I was like I got the film and then I went to Joel and I had him Ping Pong the same story beats what is your take so as fun to hear the different dynamic the bets the the crazy bets the bed that's insane that that this kid hid is working for Jonathan making good money but then making a secondary income of just doing essentially stupid dares whereas you shit for John Jonathan tells them to doing goes wow you use you crawled inside that homeless guys sleeping bag here's two hundred bucks yeah that's crazy yet but I think that's the fun of Jonathan is that there is the spontaneity and creativity that that has never turned off and when you hang with guy he's fun when you go to his house houses all rigged with magic tricks there's shit every we saw one dock where he has the spider up on the wall and the guy goes like wow you found on that spider in my house as the guys looking at this giant spider that's behind glass and dead of fake spider falls from the ceiling right in front of his base and you're just like Holy Shit because that would live again how it is a gag house holes as we know actually yeah chucky doll in its place it's like the original original trucking walking like Holy Shit that's fucking chucky doll and he's talking about the Chucky doll you say look at the shoes those shoes are as talking to he's walking behind it there's a lever and you're like now look at this do you know that those are actual any fucking poses lever and chucky springs forward and his eyes enlarge get in and you see that side of Jonathan because like you see him going to the doctor and still doing jokes and tricks went with them to do that stuff yeah before he went on tour it to get the doctor to just see the gravity of what he's actually going through you all these story beats in there and Jonathan through it all still maintains a sense of levity and we're about but look he you know that that was the the selfishly for me the other revealing part of like doing this talk with somebody that knows that he's GonNa die and there was a moment in it where where he's talking about how how scared he was going back on stage but how how much it meant to him it was identified through performing right and then somebody takes that away and as a comedian you know you're going through this and you're watching those interviews and you're in the edit Bain you're watching over and over again and you're seeing the camera in on on on him and you oh you know you're just seeing raw emotion from and it just made me especially in that moment really want to not take for granted what we get to do every night I I guess performance comedians because at any moment like imagined Stanford being taken away from it's like fuck I don't know what I'd do if you woke up tomorrow and you couldn't talk like Oh so what what would we do I guess you could have right but it's ness aim is not on that stage and taking that Mike and I it and you kind of really see that and now it's weird watching because I just heard Jeremy Lin give speech where he was crying on a stage in front of an audience because he's like I'm done like I'm no I I was the biggest thing in the world and now no NBA team is signing me and he's crying and it's easy as is it God it's Kinda Pussy sure but then you watch your dock and you realize oh he's entire identity is being taken away from them everything since he was probably ten yeah everything every day of his life was probably basketball to in some way shape or Robin Williams to being a Vegas headliner all of it and and not only that but succeeding to the highest levels of of maintain relevancy Lincoln making fifty thousand dollars a week in the late eighties nineties Vegas Yeah just off a merch by the way like his merch checks for like thirty grand a week or so I'm like crazy what was it like like being there with him when he got back out on stage well it was very scary because we honestly did not know if he was going to die I mean you guys know his act he is just just a wrecking ball he he's a high energy yeah he's nonstop I mean he seems coked up on stage and he's coped up on stage and what was what was he saying about like if he stood for too long or if he you did too there are some sort of a guideline bag if he does this too much he might causes body to really get distressed or what what was your with cardiomyopathy it's a degradation of your heart and so the blood doesn't pump as well as you know yeah hearts at forty percent capacity and you couple that with diabetes he has no circulation so doctors have been telling them for years you got cut your foot off we gotta take any won't do it you know he's he's writing it out and one of the things we didn't put in this in the documentary that I look back on on like maybe I should have but I'm glad I didn't because I don't WanNa get anybody in trouble that the reason Jonathan is still here with us today is that he is taking taking stem cells off the black market from Mexico have them shipped up to Vegas and via doctor they're being injected with stem cells so I thought well that's that's fucking crazy and I wanted to put in the film but I know that if I put this in the film then somebody from the FBI could see potentially go well we're going to track down doc I'm really glad you're not announcing on a positive a- At least yeah yeah in but at the same time you understand the same way or when Andy Kaufman would sick he started going to crystal healers and stuff sure you eat it it's it's real easy to make fun of people that do certain things but then when you're faced that situation I'll rub CBD oil all of our body I'll take light baths I'll rub crystals I'll I'll put it Chris I don't care if you're fighting that anyway I think there's a lot of other like ways Chris about Tuesday other ways to do that they that especially especially for healing that people just don't I don't know about or don't take the time to like research that there yeah joys here I think when you're in this situations right you're going to hear about that miracle case and that's what's going to give you hope and then you're going to go down the rabbit hole and find all those alternative medicine or alternative ways as to potentially cure and why wouldn't you because I I remember that great line in the minority report that movie where Tom Cruise walked in that op green greenhouse with that woman strangles the.

"Us on the cruise Shit I think that's it yeah right Brad's leaving soon bomber so get into these last few eps you know but there are big changes coming football comedy show with Mark Sanchez for showtime that I will be doing and the alien podcast is going to make some some pretty sweet big changes that I will be announcing towards the end of the year but before that before that each Halloween candy because we have the tour dates twitter handles at Merchantville out of the way so that you can enjoy a brand new episode of the Abou- Last night podcast with the one and only Steve Byrne turn down and do so why don't you said down bad I do you like the sound of Your Voice thank you I don't mind it but I don't like listening to sets in hearing myself yeah like I guess no yeah even like when I think it'd be something wrong with you if if you're like I religiously record my sets every night and then when I listened to him God damn is an amazing Oh yes therefore I can't even get hard hard unless I hear myself talk to a woman yeah there's certain invoices I wish I had I just saw the once upon a time in Hollywood and and I was like man Brad Pitt has a cool set of pipes yeah you know what I'm saying he just has a cool set of anything I would say you sure you're married I mean he does Brad Pitt is is it cheating you have to is it cheating if you both have the same name Brad Williams Brad Pitt I don't think it's cheating that sounds like it's going to be the opening line to him if you ever meet him in your life well he's friends with Jim Jeffries and I'm friends with Jim Jefferies so I think I may be able to at some point it's right is there a celebrity that you found that was a fan of your comedy that really got you got you excited. Vince is great good but he wasn't like he was like a fan I and my comedy he was never like Oh my God I've never just never seen an Asian guy before so he was fired over that it's like doc this is new I know it's normal back in the I remember when I saw my first taste of burn was on my space during the Sierra mist give it up for the give it up for this contest what was it the upper sit down yeah there it is missing her face yeah contest that's good never sit down drugs Michael was more pulled up a little more face oh sorry are we going we're going we're just fucking around until we're on yeah sorry ABC official broadcaster real good I see him every nobody that was crazy because people forget first of all about my space race little on the fact that it was a juggernaut for exposure for comedy like they had the featured Comedians when this contest art I think it was its first attempt at like a rating bring up yeah how did that happen I don't know all I know is that they did this and I I can't even remember if you could post like videos I don't know I don't remember that much about my space I remember my top eight sure and and and then having to have those conversations with friends like yeah it's more of a business top eight yeah I used of a joke where I go when my space expanded to top forty go you truly know if you're dead someone or not forty but like I would have friends that were just like dude it's you understand that Obama like if I run into him and tell him he's not on my top forty you know it was at the point where you could put like anybody yeah because even people that Obama didn't run his my space page obviously but but he had one and so and you were like well we got a because there's also showing people like this is what I is top forty look like yeah it's it's like so yeah and then you get an idea of who the person was okay they've got Tila Tequila forbiddens and three other porn stars and she was huge that was like I mean no that's that's pretty much going to end for I mean seen a career like her career happened because of what was everybody's friend I mean we we say it's done but now it's sort of happening happening again with all the instagram quote unquote influencers and models do anything except like well here's my tits in the morning Taco Tuesday Day Taco Tuesday ten day yeah although like I dunno all like we're like we're all agonizing over posts like is this funny I know I don't know how I feel about that it's weird 'cause like ah I go through ebbs and flows you're great at it there's somebody like like Joe List is really funny I follow list he's great he's talking about twitter you on twitter yeah like Roy Wood's great at it Oh yeah Roy would roy would just posted a video on instagram where he his son brought it like a Bir you know kids but a small child brought him a toy that was broken it was a car and he fixed it and then gave him a bill all for the parts and labor like an actual bill was like all right now me twelve hundred dollars because our the fake light on your ambulance it's so funny he he just does stuff like that where you're like I don't WanNa to my brain to being that Kinda funny yeah it's it's really it's really cool find it no I hate posting because there's weeks where I'll be like I'll be on file screen cap stuff right jokes and then I'll just for a month straight I just won't post anything other than like clips of stand up you have have to remind yourself to stay engaged in social media yeah I don't like it yeah I just don't like it I prefer not to do it have you ever you guy I mean do you like doing no not at all I have through align myself to post clips and videos and try to do you know but every time I'm doing it I just I I just don't like because we're ended enough you know it's like phone phone is enough of scheduling and and you know that's where I record all my sets and remind myself things and bids because after a loss like a joke notebook I I have to do everything on the phone because if I lose the phone I can still find all those yeah so yeah but I mean I have to yeah it's a it's a chore feels like there's something like to me I don't like this is turning the camera around and doing this to me to this day I find it just this is just me I see other people they do great at it talk anybody that does it but to turn a camera and like star I just feel I I feel icky doing it feels weird when you're out in areas in right now we're on we're on it just do it it's great when I just I don't like doing it when I I know I know that you see someone like Sebastian you so you just like ask person in the world I ever thought would be aid doing no yeah be putting his family in the last guy at the ad and then I see see him doing I'm like maybe I should just I guess he's still has found a way to do his voice through it you know but yeah but again I hear it's like it's it's letting people in on another part of your life and like somebody like Whitney who just I I think she truly it's second nature now for her like doing it and also when you have that many followers followers and maybe this would we'd all be thinking differently if we had millions of followers short like and you're feeling like you need to feed your audience with that type of content but like when you'll be going went through a closet sometimes and I'm watching I'm just like why am I watching this but then you know I know I've talked to girls that are just like yeah it's like they think it's hilarious and celebrities insight yeah yeah yeah because celebrities have closets like us with what a heartache read that's why you come to me take Jake Williams favorite hotdog Steve Byrne you have kids do they breathe just yeah yeah have you ever like missed a moment like your kids are doing something you're like hold on I gotta finish this tweet no but there are like the the one thing I will say the only time I was ever tempted to post something on my kids and I never would and I never have I just I just want my kids to be mine yeah it's just like that's that you have everything but this is me this special to me one time we were we had gone and seen the Force Awakens uh-huh daughter and I and she's maybe five at the time were eating lunch at the cheesecake factory and she closed her eyes and put your hands out like this and she's just doing it for like she keeps open our eyes closed open and close it and I was taking pictures of her and I go what are you doing she goes I'm using the force to move my plate and she thought she he was dressed as rate too so it was like perfect look like she was trying to like and it was just to me it was like so cool to see like a five year old and I felt like it was five year old me like I remember being five like thinking I could fly in like running as fast couldn't jumping up thinking I'm going to fly this time and I kept doing it kept doing an innocent some blind I'm GonNa fucking do it and that was the only time I ever thought of posting some of them kids but I here's a very important parent question yeah what did you show your kids the star wars movies in because now we've had prequels sequels we got the original trilogy you got the side projects which Finn the timeline like where'd you win you show them rogue one I went oh go regional three okay then then I got them in a force wake and stuff and the prequels yeah you'll see it when you see it and to this day when my kids actually do want to watch and they they love stores they always WanNa see return of the Jedi that's the one because of the it's the walks now what about things are lovable you everyone loves them now what about take take Williams tiny things are moving on you guys what about the ernest movies in what order goes to jail
