"In on them for just two seconds about kind of the evolution of the safety position he was talking about how His coach, said. Watch Steve Atwater, watch some film. If we were to tell the modern safeties to watch Steve Atwater, what would you hope they get out of watching Steve play? Well, I would hope they gaze is sure willingness is a tackler. That's going to be the main thing because most safety these days whether you won high, too. I just don't have as many box safety is much more Adams kind of is that guy, but that's really about it. Most guys just aren't box safeties anymore. And so you've got to be a sure tackler and you've got to have the confidence that you can go up and make that hit And I think that's that's the takeaway to me. Um, you know if you go back and Steve Atwater, if we're being honest, Steve Atwater would be a linebacker in today's NFL 100%. He would be. He would be right next to Alexander Johnson, and he would be aligned the way he's built the way he plays. Yeah, right. But if you you know, if you're looking at the tape back, then the thing you take away from his willingness to hit and his eagerness Go out there, and he wants to put somebody down like that's that's what he wanted to do. He wanted to go tackle. We want to put them on the ground, and we got a lot of guys to shy away from contact these days. Use the shoulder lean to get in their textbook. Tackling has been lost a lot. So that's the thing you're probably looking at, do you? Blank the things that are important to you and safeties just as we're on this top now for me. Yeah, like, what's important, because look, not every is going to be Ed Reed. Right now, there is gonna be a ball hawk, so I I don't know if that's a template. That's the That's the tablet. I mean, to be honest, you know, if you look at Justin Simmons, he's diet and read, You know, that's kind of what he is. He's kind of a, uh you know, you need that rangy ability to cover you know, you kind of wanted to high safety, somebody who is the about the ability to cover half the field. And you can move him over and make him a one high or, you know whatever you need to do, but the two high safety is kind of the template. Brian Dawkins, you know, justice. Those kind of guys go out and read the quarterback size Can hawk the ball complain that deep zone and could can mix and match in terms of what they do with that zone. Justice Simmons brings additional athleticism that in a pinch, you can put him in man. But you know he doesn't like that. And you don't You know you don't want that long term, but you can do it every once in a while. Throw people off. Um, I I think you're looking at it just understands and knows for the football. You looking for the guys? The best safeties Isley, just having those to the ball maker Fitzpatrick. Karen Matthew just just have a nose for the football and that's that's what it's always around the ball, always making a play and always trying to make a play. Don't be afraid to stick your nose in there. So I think those are the things you're looking for. We had a conversation with the anti Lee from Profootballfocus. A couple of weeks ago, you can find that a Broncos country tonight dot com. And in that conversation. I we got with him. We also maybe talked about it with Steve Atwater just a little bit. Just the idea that the safety is now becoming the quarterback of the defense like the modern safety because for so long it was the middle linebacker. It was right. The Brian Urlacher is right. I mean, was those kinds. Yeah, Yeah. I mean, you want those guys getting everybody lined up? They were made sense there, right in the middle of the defense, the right smack in the middle that evens You can see everything happening in front of them. They have a good understanding what's going on behind them, and they can. They can keep the ball in front of them where possible, and they were trust the guys behind and do it. But now we're seeing a bit of a shift here or you're seeing the shift to having if you have an elite safety on the field, you have a little bit of a leg up on other teams like the way that the the defenses are now. Kind of constructed, especially in this era of passing the ball, throwing the ball as much as they are. The elite safety is now one of the positions that every team wants to have. Well, they're going to add an advantage to the safety being the green dot guy. Yeah, you know, because he's got the entire defense in front of them can make sure bodies lined up correctly. You know, And so he can bark things out and do all that. You kinda wanted to Mike because he's closer to the D line. And can, you know, do things, But the safety can see everything, especially when you're in a defense like Vicks. That's you know that show and cover for every play. Uh and you know it could do quarters match man, whatever it's doing, but you know the safety can get everybody lined up in front of them, and it's so vital, you know, especially the things that we don't talk about all the time. There's such a big part of football run fits. You know where guys are lighted up along the line, all that kind of stuff. Those are those are kind of a big deal. Things that it gets glossed over. I think in most sports talk conversation, but And safety Interestingly enough, and it's cool that we get on John Lynch and Steve Atwater in the same weekend because for the longest time, we would say as we're talking about the Hall of Fame of the safety positions, very underrepresented. And it isn't been hasn't been until last 57 years at the safety has become a little bit more in Vogue has become a little bit more appreciated. And I want to say that actually The reason in part for that is because of the way safety has changed in actual play on the field, not so much as looking back on what it was because I think what it was was important. But most of time we're talking about the corners. We're talking about the middle linebackers. We're talking about the pass rushers the safety position If you get to the hierarchy of just household names. It's pretty far down there. But I think that's starting to change because you mentioned guys like Tyron Matthew, There are names out there a players that made plays, even in the Super Bowl. You got Antoine Winfield out there..

Brian Dawkins Justin Simmons Antoine Winfield Alexander Johnson Ed Reed Karen Matthew Tyron Matthew John Lynch Mike Steve Atwater Steve Super Bowl Brian Urlacher Fitzpatrick two seconds Lee Isley Adams 100% today

"On a per rush basis to later on in the season, But once he got going he got going in those last couple games over the season, the last 68 games. He was wildly effective. I think you'll have one fumble in that stretch and Um, he just was was vastly more effective as he got into a rhythm. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do this year. I think you can be even more effective. I like Toronto was. Don't get me wrong. I like him. I would be stunned if he got more than 30% of the carries. Stunned, all right. So we'll see Steve Atwater would because I actually think it will be more of a timeshare than you're projecting. But again, what kind of thing Part of it could depend on the fumbles? If Melvin gory at the Guardian, almost football, That's a difference, Then they're going to turn over. Monty Williams is the inevitable starting running back to this team. He will be a starter next year. Yes, you know, And I think this year is just a ramp up here for him while Mel they Melvin's money comes off the books. All right, let's hear from Lloyd Cushion Berry Before we bring Steve Atwater in studio. This was a great point. That Lloyd Kushner Berry was asked about having OTAs and the benefit of that, and he has the natural comparison because he didn't have any of it last year, so interesting that he acknowledges What The benefit has been for him this year because this is his first, OT aces of professional the entire year last year as the starting center. The only guy stayed in the line of the entire year, and he didn't have a full offseason, so he's getting the benefit of that. And here's what he said about how much that means. Last year. This time I was still at home. Don't work work out some my own. So definitely I appreciate what we're doing now is help help all of us a lot having young offense and this is huge. You know a lot of guys that may not seem like that big a deal for guys. It's been legal while but You know for Rookies that's coming out for last year. Not having any of this is gonna be huge first going into this year. I mean, it's key, especially for us. You know, it's hard to go. Even though you're doing your own days, it's hard to go old all season without getting together with guys in this rate can cause our communicating our communication and just Yes, and before we get to training camp in Israel So what I think is interesting. There is Lloyd Cushion bury you had explained. And we saw early on some of his struggles about playing against Pro level defensive lineman holding his own The functional strength, all that kind of thing. Well, don't you think we would have known a little bit more about where he was at? If you would add a full offseason if he had a full training camp if he would have had any preseason games? What could that imminent? For Lloyd Cushion Berry in his development to hit the ground running last year. He might have had a better start to his season. He got better as the season wore on, but he that that might have been a little bit of an indication, at least from a developmental level if they would have had more of an offseason, more training camp and more preseason game because you actually get to see him against pro level even sieve lineman Maybe I I kind of disagree with that premise, though, because I think like the biggest part of cushions game that I mean, he would have been smarter. You know, he would have more reps and protection calls that part. I'm sure of it. The biggest. The biggest flaw in his game was just was funked sheer functional strength. That was the biggest flaw in his game, and I don't think that more training camp would have made him stronger. I think he needs that. He needed an off season of now, If he had gotten that he got an offseason strength conditioning program. Um, that would have gone and I could package that in and then I would agree with your premise. Okay, But if he could have gotten that, Yeah, then then, then I could agree with you. Perhaps, but just the reps from training camp. No, that's that. I wasn't gonna change anything. This technique is sound advice. Just functional strength is his problem. He's got to get stronger. He's had good to hold up the point attack. He's gotta be Langer, but there's also Chemistry. Consistency would ability had most of it, though. I mean, when when you were waiting now there's communication issues with Alton Risner and Well, Yeah, there were some. There were some calls funky early on, but you know you didn't like that. He didn't like that snaps or anything, but he just had communication issues. And there were times where Risner or Glasgow we're covering for him and that that stuff that you might have been able to develop early on. I'll concede that point. I don't I don't think it would've been as big a leap. Um, I think he I think he either got stronger this offseason. He didn't and we haven't seen it yet, because we haven't had a chance to really see that portion of it. They're out there in shells are not really in pads and all that kind of stuff. So he either got stronger this offseason. He did, and we'll find out real quick. Like when he's lined up across from micro cell. You're gonna be able to see it sells a strong dude, You're going to be able to see it right away. So to me, That's really where it comes down to is that strength conditioning, whether he's got the ability to move a mountain, whether he's got the ability to move the nose off off the point of attack, or whether teams are going to do exactly what they did last year towards the end of the season, where they walked those two linebackers right down there over there, and they showed gap and then one of us coming because they knew he wasn't able to get he wouldn't be able to do it so Um, you know, I I just I think he's he had to get stronger and I hope that he did. He said that it was expected. That the Broncos would bring in competition for him. Yeah, I mean, you know, you know, when your liability, you know it unless your receiver a corner in this league where you know your diva, but you know, when your liability, it's something and good on you to have self awareness to get out there and corrected. Hopefully he did the steps and took the steps you need to correct. It should have been a surprise fun anyway, I'm glad he didn't take offense to it. No, and he shouldn't and and he is acknowledging. I think kind of a responsible way, just saying.

"The broncos said at nine. You don't want to be drafting in the top ten too often if you can avoid it but you have a chance to get a good player to step in right away. Some ask you the same question that i asked big al when he and i spoke Yesterday about where the broncos should go at nine so if they stick it nine because you hear the rumors about them trading up and this and that but if they stick it nine gimmie three players that you'd like to see them target that you think would be able to fit in here and obviously have an impact. Obviously after listening to george pregnancies press conference today. If there's a quarterback there that they like i think bill make a move there. So i'm i'm thinking for me. The quarterbacks that i would take there will be justin fields. John's trae lasts although he does have a ton of potential With the lack of experience that he has only having one solid year of college college ball. I'm just. I need to see more from him but even though he may have a great career. So yeah so for me. It'll be those two guys or if we have to go defense. Mike parsons inside linebacker or jeremiah was who call moore who i actually feel be better suited for the safety position but he such a such a great player i was still get him at nine and although we have karima justin jeremiah will find a way to make sense of the field. Even if he's not planning the stadium he's gonna be unfair somewhere. Big alcala defensive unicorn and that was the guy he said if they traded back that and think the value is at nine a. But when you call them on the unicorn. I think you're you're you're maybe under selling it. I liked the comparison to dion jones among others safety with atlanta hillary's two hundred twenty seven pounds. She's talking about eleven pounds more than where jock is. Al pointed out. That's what they call them in notre dame where he is an i. Personnel guy told me that i talked to the league that he is a heat seeking missile. So you can get over the weight thing. He'll fit into your defense and go make a bunch of place so as somebody who would you play to twenty five to thirty I started off my career at about two thirteen years as my career. I got my seven eight nine ten year around two twenty five or so it can be done. I guess although not yeah you can play safety. I guess in today's football. Could you might have to play linebacker with the way you you play but maybe not gesture game. Yeah definitely have to adjust my game but the thing is with jeremiah. I haven't seen him take on offensive linemen if if a team comes out. And says we're gonna pound the ball on your. What do you do. Because he he doesn't have the strength. And i i don't think he has the experience taken on those guys hit on meeting fullbacks. In the whole you know that are trying to block him. Not running the ball But trying to block him. You know sitting off those blocks making tower. I just haven't seen that from him and i don't. I don't think that would be playing to be had to play a linebacker in that role..

Mike parsons jeremiah John dion jones two guys today three players seven Yesterday thirty twenty five broncos nine karima justin two hundred twenty seven pound about two thirteen years one solid year george pregnancies eight nine ten year moore

"That guitar is unmistakable. Get tired. The monster's sister sweetly as we're playing Boulder artists all night long here on Broncos country tonight, our hearts Go out to the families affected by this horrific tragedy that happened yesterday in our community. And of course, as we mentioned at the open of the show, that is something that is gonna be a part of us a part of us for a while, but there's something that absolutely is within our mindset as we do the show tonight. We are talking some NFL in Broncos with you. What if you need to talk to us? We're here three or 3713, 85 85 or four number 56690 is the time Flying. Let's head out to the hotline and bring on Hall of Famer and Broncos. Ring of Famer Steve Atwater. Steve Good evening, Sir. How are you? Hey, What's that? Ryan? How you doing today? Duma? Right, man, You know, like I said, right there. It's kind of Ah, We're a little bit heavy heart here right now. And definitely, man. I mean, Insane. Yeah. Well, Go ahead, Steve. What woman if you want to, you know, sort of surely thought to be one of things we talked about last night is is even though we have a lot of experience in this here in our city and in our states. You never really get used to it. Yeah. I mean, you never get used to something as horrific as You know, just senseless, crying, senseless murders. You know people out there your shopping and, you know, thinking they're in a safe environment and then You know, a person who just comes out of nowhere and does so, um, it's not acceptable on bits. Of course, this is not the norm, either. You know it's happened. Uh, you know, several times here in Colorado, but again, if you know, it's not like it's an everyday thing. But the few times that has happened that has too many. One time too many on Hopefully You know anybody out there? Who's you know there were thinking about doing something like this man. L They'll see the pain and everybody's faces and on everybody's hearts right now and You know, just be dissuaded to go get some help. You know, normally a person that would do something like that they they have have some issues going on. And, uh, you know, people in that situation, I highly tears them. The She helped Versace hurting other people. That's really well said Steve. We really appreciate that. I'd Steve Atwater joining us here on Broncos country tonight. Wanted to go through some of the things that happened since the last time we talked to you because the last time we talked to you, it was all what would happen if they got Justine Simons Extension done, Boy, Wouldn't it be great to target Kyle Fuller from the Bears? Hey, and we'll be great. Also sign Kareem Jackson back to this roster. My goodness, so much as half Been since the last time we talked to you. Let's let's actually start with Justine Simmons here, though, because four years 61,000,035 million guaranteed He's the highest paid safety and that this is a guy that on the field off field, he's everything you could possibly hope for, in a face of the franchise kind of player, and it seemed very important to get this thing done. Not only for him before. I think the stability of your locker room. I mean, this. This is one of those guys that if you had a hard time getting a contract done with Justine Simons, I think the Reverberations would have been very traumatic for the rest of the locker room if it didn't get done. Yeah. No, I agree. 100% Man. I'm really happy for Justin. His family. You know they should be set for life in terms of the finances. He could focus on football folks, one also doing all the great things he's been doing in the community and I agree with 100%. If Bill wouldn't have gotten done. You know? What do the young players coming up in the organization who are doing well? What goes, you know, in the back of their mind, Listen the back of their minds. When they play well, and, you know, feel like his contract time. Now they're probably feel like hey, I'm probably gonna be going to a different team and who knows they may Decided to kind of not give all that effort to make sure they don't get hurt so they could be available for the for the next year. So I think this is ah, huge deal again. I'm happy for Justin. Happy for George Payton to, you know, come in. And and, uh, you know, I think he's got the respect of the locker room and the coach because the coaches Hey, they know the better players. They have the easy it is to call those defense. Fewer mistakes. You know, the fewer questions you have to make up for you. You said to call in You know, you sit in the room. You said a bad call in the players who are average. You never know what's gonna happen, But you can send a bad play and you got great players. Good things can happen. So you know, I think everybody wins. Well, Justice m assigning along with the rest of them, But that really sent the message to the rest of the team that Hey, man, you go out. You play hard you leave on the field. Do what you're supposed to do off the field. You have an opportunity to be a broken for a long time. And I couldn't be the happier for for the way this turned out. We'll see that I've waited to ask you what is probably the single most important question that I've ever asked you. And that is, what are we gonna nickname this unit? I personally among have gone with Mount Rushmore because opposing teams are going to have to Rushmore. If they want to have success against this this unit, given how good the second areas but there's all kinds of nicknames out there. You don't have to answer that right now. I'm just putting that out there. Let it marinate. Yeah. Today I have to think about that man. And you know where they even come with the name for themselves. Uh, I think it's better when I don't know other people make it up and just start hating and these guys, they're just dogs. We got a team on the field. They got to go out and win some games and and, you know, creating turnovers and do all the things that we're hoping that they're going to do first way can't make the big name just yet. We got we gotta hold off a little bit to make sure that Hey, guys gonna be healthy and they're gonna go out there and produce. I find it ironic that you chose Mount Rushmore since you wanted to leave Steve Atwater off them out Rushmore of Broncos all timers here, but I mean, that's just mostly because that would have anything I wanted to give. I wanted to give Steve his own like the Indian chief that has his own monument over there by himself. I want to give Steve his own monument onto this. I wouldn't limit him by putting him on a face with four other guys dragging it down. I wanted to put him on a pedestal on his own. Over here, put it. Drag you down, right? But what about if I backpedal any harder? I'm gonna I'm gonna moonwalk right out of the studio. Then we see the flies surrounding you, man. E hope you got your waiters on for that when I had nothing. I was trying to bail myself out. Got to shout cap at him. Yeah, that's it. That is cap. All right, Let's get to the next one here. So Justice Simmons deal gets done. Now we move on here to Kyle Fuller. The Chicago Bears released him over the weekend. And the Broncos Raber to able to add him on a one year $9.5 million contract. I mean, this is the dude under Vic Fangio. He led the league in interceptions. PB use. He was an all pro. He's a two time pro bowler. My good does this guy is the definition of consistency and talent. And and the Broncos is a secondary just got a lot better with him. Well, I agree..

I mean, I want to be underrated, but we're getting a little bit of respect every week. Oh, you didn't like about if you were going to star in dead tone. Which character did you play? You didn't like that one. Oh, man, you know, I don't like that one would be. I think I'd probably be the You the guy who was the I don't want to be detective. So I had to kill it. OK, I say even Kyle Turley. OK? Yeah. See, is that they? Are you being this acid, The smiling assassin. Yeah, Too easy. Too easy. Well, see, this is the thing like I thought you would fit really nicely with Ray Crockett. And you guys was it would have solved this thing in like 30 minutes. "Were covered man to man. And no one ran hot rough, You know, Um, you know, they got to notice a man we got these guys. Listen, the quarterback not gonna have much time I got to know somebody got to break it off, You know, running short around, so the quarterback has someone to throw it to Well, that's exactly right. So that the communication there is that on locker. Is that on that Shermer is that on a combination I mean, a some point. Those are questions that I kind of have to be answered. That's the development stuff that I think everybody wants to see. I think they want us to see steps forward and this one felt like a step back. Yeah. I mean, you know they do it is between more than likely. I'm thinking the quarterback in the receiver's just being aware, you know, and When you have a young offense, you know you have guys haven't been in the system that long. They may be more worried about what brought my running. You know what defense are they and what random are running. So then? Hey, I got to look out the CEO of the tablets. A quarterback. Look at watch out for number 26. You know on what? Okay, I got you. You know, whatever the communication like, um, they need me to get it down. Ah, you think it will come with time? But, you know, I know. Probably not the best faces so we needed sooner rather than later. Absolutely. Including this weekend, Steve be well, I appreciate your takes. Even if you didn't want to get us in the end it in the movies tonight. I I do appreciate your football knowledge is is still very welcome on the show. It was used to Jennifer Pollute. All right. And the great Steve Atwater always good to head shot with Steve. He's always a comedian. Very good there. Okay. 33713 85 85 phone number 56 16 0 is the text line? Yeah, I mean, that's that's kind of what kind of balls down to me coming out of the Chiefs game and and some of the reaction I've been watching on Social media. And and what we kind of got into a little bit last night is people wanted to see the constant steps forward and and for Drew, like, at least what he did last year. There were moments of that where he just felt like okay, well, he's not making the same mistakes over and over again. He seems like he's taking steps forward. Even if the numbers don't completely back it up. But then you get to this game and the question even came up last night. Is he regressing and that that's kind of what I think A lot of people felt like they might be seeing out there against the Chiefs that Maybe he is taking some steps back because certainly his footwork was not good enough. And his decision making wasn't either. He knows that too. I mean, I don't need to see here. I do disagree with Steven. One thing, though. He says that we're not saying anything that that the Broncos haven't already thought of. Oh, no, I I think everybody in sports talk radio always thinks what they say. Is the thing that nobody else has thought of. So, yes, you should say I know this for a A bona fide fact. And nobody else has ever thought of this. All right? 323713 85 85 566 things. "Program Steve Atwater always looking for to check in with a whole Famer what about fireworks morbidities the Katy Perry song no no no no it'll be like fireworks on the field goal still because fireworks are outlawed in Denver right now really yeah it's like a whole thousand are finally comes there fireworks going off in my neighborhood every freaking night your neighborhood is like two neighborhoods down from mine so yes everything in a dog dogs for you know we can't sleep with the window open while the dog just goes nuts I don't like to like it and it may be on the weirdo but as of that like when I'm not expecting fireworks and it starts popping off dude I'm a bulldog jump a bolt upright and you know it's just one of those things I I am I will sign out there for a couple years when I first moved in the house you know the kind of the neighborhood just let me know how you know if you can shoot it was cool like I don't wanna be only fringe anyways thing just like let me now but yeah kind of kind of relieved that we're not doing him a little bit this year so I have to worry about it so much so okay well that's good I mean not that I was a big fireworks guy anyways my neighbor next door usually did some in the street or whatever on on July fourth but they're still sell them I mean I saw someone Parker like right out the side to got one big big so that that that stands there they always do some fireworks there they must be doing something yeah I I don't I don't know why it's not I know it Parker and then we're not supposed to mmhm okay so there's like big fines for that so all right we'll get there going off every single freaking night so Donald six three oh three seven one three eighty five eighty five five six six nine zero Sirtex line so for MLB if you missed it earlier the players rejected the original deal yeah D. A. M. L. B. came back afterwards and imposed a sixty game season the players have until five PM tomorrow night to accept it five PM eastern and it's based on the the contingency one that they can be add to whatever spring training is that last I read it was going to be at individual sites what individual home cities because Arizona and Florida are struggling right now that's the last I read so by July first any other contingencies that the players except the policies that are put in place for health and safety it sounds like MLB the players are going to accept it like that's some of the rumor they're coming out they're going to probably set that so we are expecting to have baseball come back okay and it would be a right target right around July twenty fourth twenty six that weekend but July first is when they would kind of get back into a version of spring training so again this is what the the rumor out there is that the players are expected to agree to it and they will have a shortened sixty game season in the top ten team playoff I think that's if if they've got a plan that they can do testing and kind of keep isolated and and all that kind of stuff the good I I I haven't seen that that is me does exist I simply haven't seen it all I've seen is them trying to stampede issue warned some semblance of a season out there and then from there worry about the others and that's been my concern that that's been the reason that I've been harping on this thing about BB push into next year now that again that may just be me not privy to certain information that I'm privy to other information of the lease they issued a hundred thirteen page yeah but health and safety did you go through that I read some of it I said I went through it and it was not the a it's it's a lengthy it's verbose but it's not exactly strong all in detail so much as it is a lot of language filling up a lot of pages and there are some some very glaring omissions in terms of contingency in there that I don't know I I look at them like I Love Lucy I feel like somebody should address this it's not like you did have a pages get rid of pages double a question here the text line before we get to the Jeff like wall piece on the offense and defense being better worse or the same this question from Chris I'm curious if you guys would have paid or traded Zeke considering what they're having to pay dak we'll take pain Zeke they they sort of paint themselves into a bit of a corner they had a Mars contract up they had Zeke's contract up in the back was the very next year so they had like that kind of make some some big decisions all the same time and there are some lessons we we're just talking about for the Broncos are some lessons that hopefully the Broncos are learning this process no John Elway has said multiple times that they are thinking several years out on these things they're planning for the contingency of all of it the understanding like we were I think Chris Texan earlier that next year's traffic probably be a little more defensive heavy considering how much you got to the office that's assuming of course that everything pans out on the office the office I think you could realistically go offense of line early on but you may have to go tackles early in the draft next year in the maybe you can go defense it is smaller positions maybe go outside linebacker defense inside linebacker probably the position if we take a look at the draft but that's what do you think about that would you would you have moved on from Zeke Elliott last year with the cowboys alternately gave and gave this contract I'm not a pay running backs kind of guy yeah I understand McCaffrey understand getting paid you know so most guys but if you're paying them keep in mind you're paying for past performance you're probably not ever going to have to move up to the contract again and by the way you're investing a lot of guaranteed.

"All the broken country tonight rocket Richard all right Steve Atwater my face is the gift that keeps on giving due to your yeah I showed I showed Steve that the picture of you on the airplane yeah hello darkness my old friend her daughter I'm like I have it as if you get a chance right and and again not like you have no time on your hands or anything like that but you get a chance to go live with the pope he he's the one that actually posted a picture yeah I I took the picture posted yeah he's the one that did that in in in the comments afterwards man of the year award okay yeah it looks like that though yeah a minor stuff like I don't mind being the villain for everybody you know that kind of thing I don't he leans into it about your life then I began at these insurance commercial when they run in the cars and yeah the man made him yeah but yeah yeah I'm I like to think of myself as the Philip rivers of you know of if okay just make everybody mad all the time yeah all have a little conversation about your lack I'm a tide you bigger Oppel into this just a little bit but I have a conversation with you about your lock why is it Steve that we have this fascination with the unknown on quarterbacks why do you think that is well many times a lot of our societies like that were we'll take the unknown over the known especially when the known as bad or even just okay more okay yeah we ARE guy we'll move over this even even if it's somebody who man was a sixteenth round draft pick played in college didn't completely fifty percent of his passes once you give the uniform on right as soon as he was that he may be different this level it may give you made made it difficult to produce your cost of writing college no he still does thank you still the same guy he still can't play so they said about me but I mean in that being like like for example if I ask you and I see the same thing life I was gonna ask you would you rather have G. big Rapallo man who was top ten quarterback rating last year let's team to thirteen three on the season yes if I would ask you where they have Ginni grapple which isn't much a known commodity for the most part right now first is true lock I think most everybody pride take a draw lock because there's a little bit of an unknown is maybe a little more upside there get the same time that you make rob Lowe yeah the no commodity he fits well with what you're doing here they're also it was a situation some plus throws that Jimmy did make an I think people see that and say well ma'am maybe can't play that well in the big game where is your lack I know the really the only game we didn't play well is that cancer chief game in Kansas city in the soil yeah yeah yeah so what does one do drugs going to have to do is show he can play well in in bad weather you got to be consistent revise worry plays here on a roll where this knowing where this sunny outside he's got to be able to show that he's now has a level of consistency you know may not be you know a hundred and thirty percent quarter by rate every game but it's got to be consistently above ninety five two hundred I think I would take to lock in a heart beat now I really I really would I I think that you've got a stronger arm an obvious he's on the written mobility yeah and oil of ability and he's a rookie delays you street you know ours you know you're paying crop low top ten money in terms of the cap charge every year at this point so that the dollars to production for me it just makes sense with which our luck Andrew may never panned out to what we think you can be I've I've been drew locks number one fans before well before you dress by the Broncos but you know he may or may not the we'll we'll see this year but I think the promise right now from what we have seen looks good and I think that if it's me and you're you're asking all things being equal taken lock up a little but I'm as one as of that seeing seeing would you like to see the mobility CNN is on seeing him thread the needle on some plays we know that he has the ability to do it right now I think was going to be important is that coaches give him that flexibility to make some mistakes and that because it we shop at your bones he wasn't playing that great up until the fourth quarter there and what do you say we are able to decide on what would cause injuries do literate yeah keep going and we got to have the confidence in our quarterback to say we believe in you man a forget which was to get what you have now could you you've drawn a picket this what he found it was same thing that Arians was telling James Winston you know I mean now to Winston's detriment he did keep firing a rock tell you but you get the idea you want to have a conference with the kids the cheese were down ten plus points and everyone of those playoff games every single room they were down temples points and they had the confidence that no matter what was happening he was gonna keep throwing it and keep shoot it whatever you want to you know whatever the sport is yeah to keep firing until he got it and he did in he is extremely accurate Belgium homes that he's one of those actor quarterbacks I've seen to be stressing throwing the deeper balls AT has the the the receivers who have the speed the they can just but I'll go get it right can be out there if he cannot be broken out those will only add something into this for just a moment because you're you're you guys are huntress running your I mean get if I ask him city by the pie take the upside you're locked with seem time after lock throws for almost four thousand yards twenty seven touchdowns thirteen interceptions US sixty nine percent completion percentage and he does all that in the season and the Broncos are the second highest scoring team in the league we in the end the production is what it is I mean I I don't know if I'm gonna fall to me if he has a four thousand twenty seven and thirteen kind of season yeah but but you know what a lot of times people look at the stats but other times you can look to see how guys playing close situations too I mean that's the one thing we even with with the with the Philadelphia Eagles when the full they're closer to wage and specially in the playoffs in in a Superbowl he came through now I know that was the case during regular season a lot but he was a touch primetime player even caught a bag on touchdown passes so in there but then we get the quarterback was the starting quarterback for the eagles the arson once question let's back it just doesn't seem that you can't seem to get over the hump there and I think because they're wonderful quarterback I think you you know you'll probably get you'll get this team so bold and and you'll get a chance to compete but you know that isn't one of those things that coach look at like man in custody wages you know the the level plays this certainly is high yeah and the others are this is the context to Jimmy stats a lot of those came in they were pad in the fourth quarter they'd run up to big leads and then everybody was biting run when they're milking the clock in the fourth quarter he just dropped easy passes in a pad the completion percentage a touchdown totals if you go back to Blake Bortles during Jacksonville's runs the same thing Boris had massively padded numbers they they run the ball well for net and TJ Yeldon time and in the fourth quarter Blake Bortles to come along and Pat the stat to little bit look great the reality is the city was a so so core back and and that's the thing with rob last year so so quarterback that happens to be good enough with all the pieces they have around him to be able to win so then I come back to another conversation on what do you need to be able to beat the chiefs were right now the best team in the best team in the AFC there's the best team in your division we had this conversation of all part of the last I will continue this conversational lives off season do you need more upside if Jimmy to rob Lowe was the starting quarterback for the Broncos or they team that could contend in the A. F. C. west well it is it's not just the ones that a question though is like all right what you gonna do to score was points within how you gonna stop you got to you got to you got to put together a plan to stop the loss slowing down some first that's what I've been saying this entire tubs Steve that's exactly what I've been saying for whatever reason everybody else's folks on the offices of the ball I keep going back to the defense in my opinion that's the biggest thing the defense is already decent I mean it's already good deter there's no use in a couple players you you're telling starters Chris Harris I mean you're you're there were also you'll lose lose he shall be here AT your prize you lose Todd Davis yep that's mean I like Todd it's I I like hobbies replaced level players be honest wow and I mean you're gonna just be honest I think they call me state sponsored radio right up makes it no but I'm just like yeah the difference is good in visual system is proven that it's going to be it's going to produce the disco produced it's it's both you gotta be able so you're not able to stop him the city so you got a double slowing down down right you get is slowing down and then on the office but it's like I said with the boxer thing you can do you can block and you can work around the ring and not take any shots all game fine at some point you you're put some points on the board you know you're right you're right and if the if if the chiefs are averaging just say thirty five points a game we got a bit old twenty one twenty four point is this but twenty seven thirty thirty five points a game on board has to happen yeah so now I like your answer as far as for dear life goes I take him as well yeah but you make Rapallo but I've also but but I three don't want ask this is because I've often wondered when it withdrew well no I know but I've I've been one of the biggest I don't know naysayers on Jimmy arrival especially once you got the contract like he's not that guy but you know what they do when they do win games them and we we talk about quarterback wins and how it's a little bit of a flood stat that's understandable but but in this case of the public school thirteen and three with your luck even if he has a just around four thousand yards twenty seven touchdowns thirteen interceptions we're gonna be late season actually rolled out for what they've had the last resort we we're gonna be going nuts around here and that's what you metropolis deadline was well what I would like to see from July we get get this situation is once we get into the Thai situated face to you know yes the championship game comes down to some such roles from some clutch runs from the packet to you know use his legs then he does the smart thing I saw Josh Allen.

"Class it does not include include tripod model hi point model has the same kind of rip as Steve Atwater so do you take the big say if you're going for big safety you take Steve that water over John lance or do you go for the small safeties use a tripod Mallu over a guy like right but wasn't that small but I will put him in the same class so you go free and strong well and I I look at you know you look Apollo maillot and I think the popularity of the Pittsburgh Steelers when he played in the amount of exposure they got on a national level he's in the we TV's yes there he's in Reggie Wayne Reggie Wayne is and we don't have these conversations about guys like Reggie Wayne Brady Wayne is in Torry Holt we don't have to have conversations about guys like Torry Holt Isaac Bruce if you ask me between Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt man Isaac bruises and Reggie Wayne is in Tory Holton Isaac Bruce played together yeah I mean what they're part of a great show and right right as Brooks Isaac Bruce is in what we talking about you know but you know there's some guys on the list that you know will probably get in and now just shake my hand saying okay give you think it's more about being popular than anything else right because when you play this game and you play it the right way first of all everybody knows everybody knows when you play the game the right way and if injury happens sorry it's just a game you know some guys just I mean I'm do it I was hurt my last three years in the NFL so I'm sorry that's just the way it goes you know you give a torn Achilles taught to triceps in the process we want to Superbowl but I wasn't myself that's what happens in the league that's why you have to take advantage of your opportunities when you're healthy because you know you know my my my coaches take my my coach George dar you say all the time if you play this game the right way there is no chance it's going to leave it injury free if you play it the right way there is no chance that you gonna leave it injury free and that's we've talked about with the NFL playoffs this year the guys are leaving it all out on the field on the field they're like no penalty for Jeff did did they begin county on that hit that knocked out Carson Wentz there was no penalty there was no penalty nor fine because that's the way you're supposed to play in the Playhouse sorry that's just the way it goes you know if your Philly fan that's the way it's supposed to look that's the way you're going to back is running and he's out the pocket he's open what are we doing you know he's dive in first I get a chance to him he's a runner now yeah I agree you know I guess I I agree with you on that its first I thought it was it just looked like it was egregious check but I mean but that but right now man this is it man you know like I I went when you are a perennial loser and I was a perennial loser when I was with Cincinnati and you get a chance to go Emplate in a place like San Francisco where they had just won the Superbowl and then you come to Denver and you get a chance to play with John Elway and Shannon Sharpe and Steve that water did you know that you are playing with football royalty Indian you have a guy like bill Romanowski said in the temple for the entire defense Neil Smith that don't know how to stop me milk milk he'll play with Neil you know I I I learned so much from all of my teammates and me and they'll talk knows of two three times a week and we call each other doing every game and we would look at it and say did you see it there yeah here comes a comma reverse like we went to a talk about it so happened I look at did you see that got Jason what what what talking about what's about to happen like did you see him taste it come rivers and sure enough bone there it is just like clockwork is is like every offense of coordinator every everybody was watching TV who once played in league sees what's about to happen which kinda is weird to me to see that Tony Romo is going to be an of bidding war at the end of the year because I can almost guarantee you when you are asking a person who play quarterback any quarterback who's ever played in the NFL for we'll call it five or six years Andy Dalton if any Dalton water stop playing football and going to the booth he'll tell you what's about to be run because there's only so many plays that can be run or or the style of play that's about to be run there's only so many things you can do out of formations so to see that Tony Romo is gonna get this mega contract up to fourteen million dollars a year to call which is by way more than he ever got is playing quarterback right it felt right to call NFL game on ESPN all I do is shake my head I'm like wow I thought everybody saw what was about to happen maybe some guy didn't get didn't explain it right but every time I go every times last night I was watching the national championship game unlike where is number one I say if this is a if they if they need to play they're gonna throw it at number one number one has not made a play all night on the football they're gonna throw it at number one you will have to be a brain surgeon understand who the weak link years on a team you brought up by you brought your friend Neil Smith nine oh joins us on the other side it's big gala Joe joined K. away the voice of Colorado check your drive this is live on this "If you missed our conversation was Steve Atwater he was live here with us and we'll be back here on Monday nights with a another Broncos player to be named but hopefully we'll have that news for you earlier this week yeah we can do a better job lock in those things down get your chance to make some plans but if you missed that conversation with Steve Atwater it's coming up here in about forty minutes or your Broncos country tonight dot com the look he had brought to our local Nissan store for great offers the most exciting line up ever shop choose Nissan dot com okay so this was from last year but it was really really funny now this was when Peyton manning we we drew Brees endings of yardage sheltered yard so there's a little bit of a dated feel to this because they're talking to about the yard agent Peyton manning is is making a sandwich or something like that it's really really funny but the Broncos reposted it to Twitter and Facebook tonight so because he did break the touchdown mark tonight drew Brees did we thought it would be fun to play this again so I hear is Peyton manning congratulating drew Brees on the yardage and now of course the touchdowns FYI drew Brees just broke your record well which one all time passing cars passing yards okay so I still have the touchdown record right he's actually on pace to break that to what great drew for a thousand days I've held the record for all time passing yards in the NFL I gotta tell you it's been the greatest a thousand days of my life and thanks to you that's over now and you ruin that for me so thank you very much I have nothing left to look forward to accept slicing my tomatoes making dinner for my family putting together this wedge salad also let the service the graduation for the touchdown record because as you can see I'm very busy I'll have time to keep doing these videos for you congratulating you but in all seriousness drew congradulations on this record you've done it the right way all your hard work and dedication have paid off you and I have come a long way since this picture back in two thousand when you were in college and I was in my third year in the NFL so when you go out of you good luck the rest of the way really really great so we're we're we're tackling back tears were listening to at the entire time the Emmy look that they they all have a certain amount of showmanship even Tom Brady can have some funny moments but they're I can't think of anybody that's ever been like Peyton in his dry delivery may have been the man was on SNL BBC certainly yeah I certainly humorous in his approach and that's I think that's what makes a good because it does because this thing a little bit yeah you're paid man you put together one of the old time careers and you get the chance to bask in that for the.

"The magnitude of the game. I don't really feel like I think, you know, you don't shy away from it. But I haven't really felt like any moments too big for this guy. LA Rams coach Sean McVay talked about QB Jared Goff handling the pressure of playing the patriots in this year's NFL title game, orange and blue seven sixty is of course, down at Lanta taking it all the action. Let's get into it with seven sixty host and Broncos legend Steve atwater on the live line. Good morning. Steve. Good. Thank you, April mardi, Mike rice with you. Has it been a lot of fun already in his this kind of like old home week for you? Well, I'll tell you. What was it was pretty fun? They had immediate party last night. I didn't go to the one last year. And I was kind of you know, I didn't really know what it was gonna be like in news. Ryan major. I wanna see you. Let's go like a are. I guess I'll go and there was over at the the the aquarium. Yes. And man, I tell you what we had the best time. We have so much fun. Got a chance to walk through the aquarium. They had food and drinks there for all the media members got a chance to network with a lot of the other. It'd be have a great time. And I'm glad I went. I bet you did Steve I got wonder, I know you're enjoying it from this perspective, but does your adrenalin pumping a little bit thinking about used to go to that game to actually play in it. Does it kind of a different feeling sense for you to be there? Yeah. You know that was so long ago, and you know, I went to Super Bowl fifty in San Francisco, and you know, all this. You know? So I go as a fan, and you know, and enjoyed the person who's kind of looking at it, hopefully, objectively. In trying to you know. Gleaning some things from the games, I can share with others. But in terms of me like oh, man. I need to make a tackle and backpedal and intercept hot balls. That's that's. How do you break the game down sort of in a nutshell who do you like? What we really haven't made a picture, and I'm kind of on the fence. I think this this game could go either way on the one hand, you know, everyone's saying how can you better give Tom Brady and Bill Belichick which I did couple of weeks ago and lost. So you know, that that's one side over the other side of it is kind of knew who is most likely to have a letdown a team who hasn't been here in the Los Angeles Rams, and the fact that you know, they may have a mindset that hey, we're we're so young. We're so good that you know, they may subconsciously take you for granted. You know, how to get to this position. And you know, maybe they'll have kind of a letdown in and say, yeah, we get back you're next year and same thing with the patriots. They could say the same thing. Hey, man. We've we've been here nine times get back here again next year. So but at the end of the day, I'm pretty sure I'm probably gonna go with the patriots. I think I I don't necessarily want him to win. We're not patriots fans. But I got to pick a team. I think he's gonna end up being the patriots. Just because of all the experience that they have also heard a lot of the Los Angeles Rams players. Can they sound a little bit too cocky right now. And this is not a good sign going up against a great team like the patriots. Yeah. There's there's the two questions who do you want to win and who do you think's going to win? And I think for a lot of folks that's two different questions. All right. Steve we're going to run it that thanks so much for your time is great to chat with you. Thank you guys have a wonderful day. You betcha out there in Atlanta. Oh, I forgot to ask him. How cold it is there? How cold is it? Yeah. Hey, mike. I wanna do this fear Jared Goff where to go to college. He works cow. Yeah. That's exactly right. You're all that matters. That's what they that's good enough. For me. Proud Callum hashtag, go bears sports brought to us by fix it. Twenty four seven plumbing and heating. We won't talk about men's basketball that will kind of gloss over that season for the golden bears. Hey, the Broncos have a new quarterbacks coach guys. It's a really cool story. TC? Mccartney is the new Broncos quarterbacks coach, he's the grandson of former C you head coach Bill. Mccartney son of late CU quarterback, Sal Nessie. And he'll take over that position. Mccartney spent the last couple of years working on the forty Niners staff with now Broncos offensive coordinator, rich scannon guerrilla, really cool to see good for TC by all accounts. He has really worked hard moving his way up in the coaching ranks Super Bowl fifty three. Of course. A day closer today. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell gives his annual state of the league address undoubtedly one would think he addressed the no call in the NFC championship game. Rams and patriots kickoff Sunday at four thirty mountain time nuggets stay on the road taking on the pelicans.

"Interceptions. He played some corner before moving to safety. But absolutely. You know, I I think the greatest safety to ever play the game. And then, you know plan here with Dennis Smith. You know, then extremely physical player who doesn't get credited. He deserved. So we never several players who really had gone down the road that I was going down when I got into the league. That is pro football hall of fame. Finalist. Steve atwater who join me in our number one. And you will hear the interview in its entirety. Coming up at the bottom of the hour. When we run it back for those of you who may not have heard it in our number one. We talked about this at length yesterday. And I went back last night, and I tried to weed through and I feel like I feel good about the hall of fame class that I chose out of the finalists. I had out water in there. And I still believe it because. You're not going. Understand. How you tell the story of the safety position input put in Ed Reed. And John Lynch and not put in Steve atwater. They're all deserving. My prediction is that. He doesn't get in. And Lynch does. And maybe Ed Reed. But at some point this is going to have to be fixed and atwater should be in any look at it. If the other part of this. We're talking so much about well champ Bailey is a in and Pat bowlen's gotta be going in this year. And. And how we like Steve atwater and everything like that. Is entirely possible. We see the Broncos playing in the hall of fame game. This year, which is. Look it's preseason. It's preseason game number one. But that would be kinda cool to see the Broncos playing the first football game. Because people are itching for football games to be back in a lot of people. Do check out the hall of fame game. This could be the Broncos weekend. It should be. Let me phrase it that way, it should be the Broncos weekend because Pat bolan should already be in. But he'll get in champ Bailey's a shoo-in Steve atwater should get in. And then what you know. How can you not have the Broncos playing on hall of fame weekend? So I think he should get in and. My prediction is that he won't. But that just shows that I know more than the voters of the pro football thing, two eight six zero four six, you know, more than they do as well, all you guys have been texting me all day long talking about out water. Even those of you like me who didn't root for the Broncos growing up still think that water should be in the pro football fame, by the way. Again, you will hear that wheels will run back the entire Steve atwater conversation coming up at the bottom of the hour. So if you missed it or you just want to hear Steve atwater again, you can at the bottom of the hour. In the meantime, we're going to be joined it live from Vegas by Dave Toler, what to expect this weekend as air force takes on Saint Lawrence. And then either Yukon or western Michigan in the ice Vegas Invitational. Next on extra sports thirteen hundred. Here's an Xtra sports look at the streets. Southbound Mark Scheffel.

"Efforting Steve atwater at this point is set to join us about now in wheels will give him a holler. Here. Momentarily got a text in from rich not a Bronco fan. But I am a big atwater fan long overdue. I agree. And I said this yesterday some of you heard this some of you did not. But I'll just reiterate it. I don't think if we look at hall of fame. As museums and telling a story of the sport. That that they house. I don't think you can tell the story. Of the evolution of the safety position. Without Steve atwater. Steve out water was really kind of the the the guy that kind of bridge the gap between the the old safety. I just mean the the the older safeties in the NFL two guys like Ed Reed to John Lynch. And couple of guys that he shares the hall of fame ballot with so without further ado, we welcome onto the program in eight time pro bowler three time, all pro. He was a member of the NFL's all decade team for the nineteen ninety s a two time SuperBowl champion and a Broncos ring of Famer, and this is how much I liked this guy. I don't even mind that he would up Christian Koi? My chiefs all those years ago, Bronco's legend Steve atwater joins us. Steve pleasure to have you on. How're you? Thank you. Thank you. I'm wondering, man. What's the chief red doing here in Colorado? It's a down here in Colorado Springs. You know, the Steve transplant city, although although I I grew up she's fam- you could blame Marcus Allen. So when I was coming up, I watch Marcus Allen he was on the chiefs. And and that's that's where I went. I I have ashamed. My father's ashamed of me. I assure you. Great guy. Great player too. So so first of all, congratulations. Well deserved. How did you? How did you find out? So do you get a call on the bat phone or how does that work? No, I was actually at the office with the Broncos. I was up at the stadium and my mouth is right next to our conference room, and we had to learn the conference Roman. They're talking to it read, and it was taking so long to get from player to player and then. I was in the other room when I heard something about at water, and then I came in and they were already it already moved on to the next person. And one of nobody's here in office. John Carlson, he. Hey, man, married. Congratulations. Like what happened and I go you your finalists? What? Yeah. But after we'll manage I across the here at the office. So it was really really cool and man such such an honor. This is the second time you've been a finalist by the first time was two years ago. You were not among the fifteen last year. So I'm curious after that, did you think that maybe your chances were done? Well, you know, I really didn't think anything really I just I know last year I wasn't a finalist and then well before I wasn't in it last year. You know, Brian Dawkins winning truly happy for him. I wasn't a finalist again. So. Yeah. You never know. Oh,.

"It's a lot of familiar names for sure to what it was a year ago here they are Steve atwater. These are the modern era finals, so these aren't the contributors like Pat bolan and Gil Brandt, these are the modern era finalists. You got Steve out. Water champ Bailey. Tony bacilli Isaac. Bruce. Don coryell Allen fan IKA Tom floor. Tony Gonzalez Steve Hutchinson. Edgerrin James tied law. John Lynch, Kevin y Ed Reed Richard Seymour. It's really interesting because we are now at the point where like almost all of those guys are guys I played against or with. So champ Bailey was a teammate. Title I played against but never was teammate played against John. Lynch. Seymour was a teammate played against Ed Reed. Certainly. And then the alignment, obviously, we're in the league at the same time as me as was consolidation Isaac. Bruce twenty percent he was like the year. We only overlap for like one year and then at waters the guy that's before my time out of this group. So we'll see people say that Gonzalez is a virtual lock. I think that's probably the case. You know? I think some people consider him to be the best tight end of all time. I think Tony probably gets in Ed Reed. I think a lot of people think he's the best safety over the last thirty years. I would agree with I I'm Ed Reed guy over Paula Malo. So I think he gets in. And maybe even I dunno next Tuesday. Maybe we'll have a guest or maybe I'll just. Maybe I'll just break down the hall of fame finalists. So I'll have to figure that part of it out. I think champ Ellie twelve pro bowls. I mean, twelve pro bowls. Unbelievable. Still can't believe the Redskins made that trade, by the way, just an insane trait. And I've told you guys before so maybe I'll go by guy by guy, and maybe even tell you who I would pick next week. But the last point I'll make just today is that Richard Seymour. I've told you guys this before and maybe I'll explain next week. Why he is the best defensive lineman. I ever played against and I played several guys that are already in the hall of fame. And now Bruce Smith wasn't as prime or anything when I played against Bruce. But Richard Seymour who was in his prime was just a tremendous tremendous player. I mean, really really good. But I don't think he has the stats that will that will enable him to get in now. Or maybe anytime, I really I just don't know. I don't know if his dad's will let them get. Anytime because in a three four defense in New England, you're really playing the run for the first two seconds. So it makes it really hard to rack up big sack numbers. Just because of the nature of that defense. You're not just penetrating you're really playing into playing off of the offensive lineman in front of you. So that's my little spiel on the fifteen finalists for the class of two thousand nineteen. So yeah, let's keep it rolling. Interesting topic for engine IX week could be or will be the NFL's I ever casino sponsorship. They've signed a deal with Caesar's. Right. But what's interesting about this Bri is this has nothing to do with gambling or sports betting? They made it very clear. These partnerships are for the casino category. Only and do not include sports betting daily fantasy or hotels resorts. So I think it's like for thirty million dollars. Caesar's will provide unique experiences for NFL fans by engaging. It's casino properties. Celebrity chefs premier music artists and a wide range of entertainers the first ever official casino sponsor of the NFL..
