"They're going to do the best to come through or make the effort to come through of it when they extend something. That's what they're gonna do that literally. They will only commit to something that they know they can come through with but if something comes up where they aren't able to fulfill what they had said they are going to do Then they would take ownership and responsibility and accountability and and You know call the person our own up to head to my best. I'm not for whatever reason not able to do this. So i'm sorry you know but but even on that aspect a lot of people that i've come across have a very hard time even taking ownership a when they are not able to comes to with the commitments that they had committed to so An and that also falls into conscience of the person that which comes into a company which company culture. So what do you to say for For that concept of integrity because a lot of people still are working on being of i enjoy the loop model. Well what happens is with the with the pr business campaign. You can't promise anybody anything you say this going to happen. That's going to happen that's going to happen. That's gonna add. Let's not you can't do. That is almost like advertising while if we advertise here. We advertised there. I can guarantee you're going to have that when he now you can yes over relations the only thing you can really guaranteed is honesty effort clarity understanding each other and then you ask the company to go on your track record. What are you guys done for other clients so we talked to your other clients. See who you are to see. Where were you guys. What type of. What type of accountability do you have. The Host: The Story of Late Night TV

"Night feed island. When i was really young. I began by listening to late night. Shows from bedroom down the hole in my house in brooklyn. My dad would be up late watching and laughing. I can still hear that laughter. Dad was a big fan of steve allen. Who started the whole thing on. Nbc's tonight show in the nineteen fifties. Steve allen has had a huge influence on all the late night hosts who followed especially with the wild stunts used to try like diving into a tub jello. Continued doing stuff like that david. Letterman once famously jumped against a wall wearing a velcro suit. Dad got a lot of laughs. Out of things like alan covering himself in teabags and jumping into a pool then he got a different kind of laugh from the next tonight host. Jack parr who conversation and wit in hollywood one day. You're putting your footprints in cement. The next day nixing it and then came the king. When i was very very young might first memories are watching johnny carson. That's the voice of one of tv's latest and freshest late night hosts amber ruffin and him. So so then you know, I kind of started my band and my what's interesting is my 12th grade year of high school. I just decided to rehearse for a one act play. And that was my only year that I truly Truly got involved with drama. But I'm actually glad that happened because it did kind of it took me off the path of not being that actually likes it started making me focus on music. "To you hi it's so ten await this is WGN radio the Dow's office thousand points you know we shouldn't have been talking about it we should have been saying that is the jobs are bad as your economy is the markets seem to be impervious to it now it's off a grant earlier this week I was like look the Dow's only off four percent the nasdaq's up ten but why would I do that well when I look at my four one K. John I hadn't until yesterday and I thought okay maybe some day will retire not today not tomorrow but okay the markets recovered and that's where people's retirement funds tend to be as in the markets in your mutual funds started singing very metal looks like we made it by the way it looks like we didn't I got to think of the other very mellow song that's the opposite of that Hey John Williams when you start your music programs Sunday nights at nine play a jazz cut by Steve Allen hadn't thought about that all look for that may be cue it up I don't know if you heard Sunday standards the last half hour of this radio show would remind you that listen we're all dealing with and processing a lot and it's just so agonizing intense out there Sunday nights we're going to take two hours and just play songs from the great American Stanton the songbook American standards so maybe Barry Manilow covering something Linda Ronstadt's lush life will pull a cut off of that but we'll go back and get felonious Munk maybe or Steve Allen for that matter Jack Jones I was listening to Peggy Lee a little the other day and I haven't done that a long time in a wooden bad but certainly Sinatra Matthiessen Streisand and mac king Cole well lord I was listening to some Nat King Cole last night I love the idea of the songs coming out your radio speaker as you end your weekend and get ready for another week of battle will do that Sunday nights at nine so thanks for the recommendation maybe little Steve Allen down the road John Williams you said Lori Lightfoot has a dirty little little you said so lord little Laurie has a dirty mouth not exactly sure that's exactly how I put it but I said something like that really John women aren't supposed to swear when angered that sounded misogynistic and I know you're not I'm disappointed I regretted it just as quickly as I said it that way because of the point I was making too was that if Rahm Emanuel had been on that call that's the way he would have said hello so I'm not concerned about the coarse language on the tape and a lot of your writing to say that's a violation of the open meetings act a judge will decide that that came up yesterday and I had the tenth ward alderman on and I asked her about that and she said it wasn't put dinner reasoning didn't didn't I didn't quite understand whatever why it wasn't well I've read a little bit about the rules regulations what defines an open meeting and what are the laws that govern how older men can get together do you have a quorum with would be a vote was it previously scheduled was business conductor was just informational and Lori Lightfoot in the city argue one way her detractors argue the other the ACLU chimed in and they are not on the city side they think it was a violation of the open meetings act well okay I mean I I I I want to pay attention to that frankly if you're getting interested in the ethics of this conversation I'm more interested in the leaking of it to politically damage the mayor I think that is a much graver concern to all of us is the city's burning they're having this heated conversation in which very important decisions are being made or communications are being exchanged I don't think you need to use that to punish somebody if the next time they have to meet in emergency session legally or otherwise and they're afraid what they're saying is now going to be on channel eleven tomorrow night maybe they then couch their thoughts and that doesn't do anybody any good the most trouble theme something to me here is not is it a violation not the bad language use I don't care if they're calling each other swear words but I don't think you should be leaking that to the press Hey it's been interesting and it is kind of cool to see behind the curtain how they do it I mean I I to be honest with you it be nice if it was like that more often that is free flowing I believe in one of our mincing rascals podcast one of the gang said when the president early in his administration would engage in open meetings with the Democrats and Nancy Pelosi would say this and he would say that and some people thought that the decorum was disappointing another thought not what it should the Senate should be like this all the time they should have free flowing exchanges and it doesn't have to be pretty a speech she died I'm discreet you little bit I don't like the language or the tone really the city was in a crisis moment yeah and it's but I don't but I've only heard the two or three minutes of the Lopez like food exchange I haven't heard the others like with tenth ward alderman what she was talking about some of them were in tears yeah and how much if you heard the whole thing I've listened to some of it not all of it why do you ask well because the with him he's like going F..

"We got a hold of Isis aquarian via phone. She's in Hawaii. We had seen her at the source family reunion dinner but but we didn't talk to her there but she heard our show and she agreed to come on and talk to us and then she did it and it sounded like this high isis. How're you ewing doing Okay well thank you so much for doing this with us. Sure so isis want you tell us about how you got involved in the source family family to begin with I was living in. La Actually engaged to a famous rock and roll photographer. Rondo Shelly loved La. Look everything we were you were you originally from La. I grew up in the air force. My Dad was a military man so we lived in California before. But you know I basically basically lived Oregon California Hawaii okay. A real coastal girl. Oh actually we were living in Florida. My devastation it takes canaveral on. When was this that you are working with your photographer? Slash boyfriend in L. A. Mid Sixties. Okay actually hit meant what Jim Baker when he had three famous restaurants on sunset boulevard breath aware in the world and then the source and he was actually known as Food Goo. Jim Baker was an iconic Hollywood legend. Before he was even bother you owed. Oh Oh okay. That's news to me. In what way his restaurants were all very famous okay. Everybody went to his restaurants. They were shot as a curve. Her and he was you know he was La Player. He was very good looking and he was very inland with no one. BEADY and Steve Allen and it was the in crowd and and he was very well-known. Interesting Steve Allen of our ears so those those two people seem like unlikely. Unlikely friends because Steve Allen was sort of not very into the spiritual side of things. Do you know anything about that friendship while Jim Baker wasn't he didn't it really started his spiritual trip until he sold you old world kind of went on his journey and devise on each other before then. The way I described him Baker's he was the ultimate animal man. He's a man's man that he was lazy. And then now the women loved Kim Piazza Array of friends from Jack Lang to Paul Breaks. So well connected. When did you make the connection with him? Well when I hit lose UCLA. Before I met lawn I had gone to the old world. I was actually introduced to him and his wife. At the time I actually became very good friends with his wife. The store was kind of a whole put on us. Never really kindness connected we did we. Didn't you thought maybe a relationship or something might arise sooner than it did. It was a playboy and then I just Kinda moved onto another crowd and Net ron and then you know we were doing our studio. I haven't seen Jim in in a year or two. I heard that he opened. This restaurant called the source. It was the beginning beginning of this. That you chain restaurant that he opened up and we were looking for models for Jesus Christ superstar Mhm Booster we were doing and I love that I need some Jesus type looking people and I said well. I've heard that my old friend. Jim has him at this restaurant. There's a collection of Jesus wearing roads. I stepped onto the source doors patio. He came out looking like Moses. You know so close he wanted. Jesus and Moses. Yeah so you know is is women following him and beautiful young people at the stores and it was just like something happened I just I clicked. uh-huh never looked back. Did you have to go home and think about it and then return the next day just immediately a member it was immediately. I was Aw something happened. I would if it was if I knew this is what I was there for. I instantly blue that we had made agreements before incriminating and he confirmed that just like my destiny was that was it it was assets. What was the confirmation to just kind of agree with you or did he have some kind of evidence of that now? He looked at me and he said I. I've been waiting for you. It was like a cosmic snick download. And then he's voiced it. Okay yeah so I went back home and I told you on that. I was playing to join the first family way and I thought he would actually come with. Yeah I remember in the documentary. He was saying that that wasn't for him. Come with me. And he thought I was stark raving me now and he let me go thinking that you know in a couple of weeks I would be back but I didn't. That was that that next day you were having having Frist Bruce as a family and the sunflower and Solomon. Yeah that was the proof of Solomon and that to the studio and I got some cameras and I just started documenting. Because that's what I was used to doing. That started my path of being a family. Historian all starring in our guys keep her which is so cool and I think what really makes the source standout from so many other groups that you have so much documentation. How much of that is yours? And how did you kind of make sure that you yourself were included in the in the documentation. Well it was all mine. Basically I started it and then I was just with him all the time following him around and I became like one of the family administrators and Kinda hands the camera off to a Swiss. This brother only and by that time. He likes the whole thing being you know recording and he said this will end up saving the legacy and who has all that now. Does it take a good chunk of your house. How many photos yard? I you know she'll onto the art guys through forty some years of being here Hawaii. They started getting started deteriorating because the climate and just one day I well well you know I gotta figure this out. I gotTa do something and that was about fifteen years ago when I decided I was going to write the book. I never never intended to be the one that wrote the book but I couldn't get anybody else to do it. Some people were families didn't even know they were in the source family. They didn't Walker kids to know about the story. Okay so so how. Many of the former members G. think are still open about how they were in the source family versus what percentage would you say. Just kind of. Don't talk about it. It's buried deep in the past for them. Well since the documentaries a book and all the publicity the city and and we've had a couple of family reunions. I think everybody's pretty open to you. Know some people that that are negative negative to it and realization that we all came to and it was quite a shock to me when I think it was. We didn't all have the same. Mainly -ality is added censure thought through the Lens of our own being our own karmic experience that we had. y'All were on a different different paths with it so if we different people will get different stories everybody else. I'll have the same experience That's a really nuanced onced. Lovely view that you know we all have these different experiences and we might see them you know totally subjectively. I feel like that's A A little contrasting with some of the the ways that was presented in documentary where it felt more like father yoed is the embodiment of God and everyone in the source kind of saw him that way and he really was. What was the word? It was like your your earthly master. Something like that. So how do we do. Yes we you went through those phases through all phases from the beginning of the family we went to so many incarnations experience. The American Indian Chips the Hebrews. He took assuming everything he was on his path. Also listen incredible me but you know yes it got messy at times you know we were all all trying to figure it out including him he had to figure it out too. There was bends in the road. Yes you know. I think we all got a passing grade. We were a mystery school. We were just hippie. We were into the spiritual pursuit and it was new territory for him for all of us. Who is God? He was God to us. It's not uncommon to talk that way not uncommon to talk about being in our God goddess. Okay so what's he got in the same way that I'm God. Yeah Yeah so you know forty years ago that was just like new territory. We we saw each other gods. We saw each other spiritual beings

"He just did a lot of custom fabrication sixties like the manor from Steve Allen's tonight show, the black beauty from the green hornet the monkey mobile the moon. Buggy from diamonds are forever JAMES BOND, the trolley from who framed Roger rabbit, and then he was asked to initially did the design and initial fabrication for the ban mobile. But the studio wanted the car sooner. So he turned it over to George barris. So they're shops were. Literally. A mile a third away from each other like barris shop in north Hollywood just over the literally just co go up the coin at turn on bar ham and up in to like intern laughed, and you're like that. So it's like right in the neighborhood. I thought that barris did the monkey mobile, but maybe there's some collaboration. Can when right. Maybe the munsters. Maybe I'm thinking, so he did the same thing. Same stuff on a slightly, obviously, they knew each other and probably referred some work and swap less. Hey, you got a black and white TV borrow car with shag carpet covered around. Was dean Jeffries. So he did the monkey mobile, which is pretty cool. The Munster coaches, George Basheer. Yeah. The very the very reminiscent of one another. He's also a very decorated stuntman as well. He's in the blues. Brothers the rookie the fugitive die hard with a vengeance. Doing stunts? He's an interesting cat. And I think he was kind of secretive because he had this GT forty. They made five prototypes. Sorry, five roadsters, the roadsters were more like targets guitar if you're trying to pin a spider, and they made five of these roadsters one of them race Lamont. I think in sixty five he ended up with that car. He ended up putting four Cam for indie motor in it. Probably like a V8. offi kind of looking thing. I'm guessing. He put it in there. And he just always had it, and he wasn't. I don't think he was interested in selling it. I'm sure along the way people sort of made offers, and he just never sold it. And I'm I'm guessing he just passed away a few years ago and became a for sale or somebody bought it. But anyway, it was always you mentioned that indie motor, and I think of that a few years back Steve stroke brought a Mustang over, and I think he had the the like one of the V eight Indy Ford engines in it sounds very familiar like very spread out like intake, you know, with with with the stacks on. Yeah. Yeah. Great. I mean, the great cool engine built the whole theme around like a MARTINI livery white like sixty five or sixty six Mustang. Yeah. That that's very familiar to be in in. Yes. The powerplant looked the whole thing is. I get it V8.'s work with push rods. But somehow the stamped steel valve covers and the and the non overhead cans and the four barrel in the middle of nowhere near as cool as the big aluminum valve covers our fan with the four camps and the whole intake trumpets and everything. It's just great. And if you can get to an aluminum block, then it's really great anyway. So that car was it Kissimmee. Kisa may second class at the two thousand sixteen concourse delegates. It ran thank you. It ran at Loma and sixty five I think had gear problems and did not finish. I don't know how many lamps it completed. As we drill down on Lama, everything out a Luma is getting super expensive and everything that one Lama or one it's class is getting super expensive. Now, just entering Lamar puts a whole bunch of euros behind your car, and certainly winning completing top ten whatever I think this thing had very unsuccessful Lama campaign and sixty five I don't know how many hours it ran. I don't know when it was out. But anyway. Maybe mex- paddle find that out. So it didn't produce expected results. I two cars of the GT prototype program or destroyed in crashes. So and this one didn't finish the race..

"But this was different he specifically threaten the actual people doing the investigation that he would investigate whoever investigated him. That's the message. Yeah. I think he's got a lot of problems there with comments like that. If he ever wanted to be a vice presidential candidate, first of all Biden would have to vet him, and is not going to be the nominee. I'm going to go with an eighty year old bumbling guy. So anyway. Leave them. This twenty nine candidates right now, there's twenty nine candidates in the field. They got the beta Aurora and Kamala Harrison, they've got a million people. Pelosi. I give Schumer credit for one thing. He knows. He has absolutely no appeal to anybody outside donors in New York City. Have you ever heard of even hint at running? No, he no, no, no. He doesn't even look like a waiter in a deli. If you didn't know who he was. Yeah. Kinda if you didn't know who he was you could see him coming over to your table. What else what else? Anyway. Lots to get to come check out the webpage.
