And my fucking house is falling apart around me somebody's like, did you put an orange Julius on the dog's head? Yeah, I don't care about life. I'm trying to sort my fallout apartment anyways, continue. I just wanted to interject it with a little bit of what the people really want, which Y, is why. you know, no matter how much you do yourself. You know, you still got a little bit me in there. Yeah, keep going. Keep going. Okay. So. The fuck fucking computer system goes three minutes left, and you're like, oh, thought q. three minutes, and we're screaming, fuck you. Wrong song. This was awful and we get out and we got rock song. Oh. All right. Did you just press like any share song at random? It doesn't work that way you can get out. Did he say where you locked inside? That sounds, but we commit to. Okay. Deserved it deserved it. Say that he would make it up to, you know, he didn't promise to. I mean, after all that you've been through. Yeah. I don't even remember that sign. I don't know. That's all you're allowed Peterson Tarum. Play it a plate for you later, and but anyway, do this whole thing. I'm still stoned. Eight mother fucker. That's right next door and we drove over. They get ordered all this. I just kept eating eating eating just so you're such a cliche of shaggy. What are you doing then? Went home and then I had to take the dog. I don't remember half the day. But and so I take take the dog over there and. And I was like. Closest we're Steve AG lives. So I go to Steve AGA said, hey, can I hang out while my dog's getting her ass washed. He was trying to record a podcast and was like, hey, mytalk stunt. Talk to you later. I don't think he said anything just left and under, and then I was over by your house just. Talk over your television show. Eight ice-cream. Yeah. Yeah, you did all of the people. I'm glad you're not then moving on to try to convince people you're not having the best life in the world. That's I'm paying testing. They like to spend the day doing that? It was. It was. It was quite good. I, I almost went to do like. Star Wars VR you hear about this void. Yeah. Oh. Hello, everybody. I'm Vince gully on this day in Harmon, town history, a young Spencer Crittenden emerged from the crowd and rolled his. I die that happened. I'm kidding, Jeff Davis and Spencer Kriton here we're talking about. So the more important than history. We're talking about the future of your underpants and you're just genital comfort. Think of the horrible medieval Elizabethan days of wearing just the wrong underwear. And if I can quote Andrew dice clay from the movie, Ford Fairlane Jez my bowls in the bunch. But now with me, not any more my balls I've just floating free like like electrons to the stratosphere. Do you think that's the superior design elements or the micro Modell fabric? I don't know what a dispenser. It's a combination of factors. It's a perfect storm of comfy. It's the softest, God, them thing. The earliest pairs of Miami undies. Would you rather have tomatoes or peppers in your omelet? I M rob sister here with Josh. Wait with Josh. How are you? Is this a debate? I mean it's peppers, right? Like I feel like peppers is the winner here by a pretty wide margin. Is it red peppers or green? Well, once you're getting into that, like I don't know because I don't. I don't love cooked red pepper. I love it. I really ring hook up. I only leg red peppers, and I like them because they're so similar to tomato. So it's a real for me. So you wanted to make red pepper on what is what you're looking for us. That's good. Close the sauce at that point. Now that sounds like a good sauce, but I don't know if I want it in my omelette. I think that like I would go with a green pepper. That is only lightly cooked, mostly raw. I really liked the raw pepper. It's really underrated I think as a as a crew today. Okay. All right. Well, enough of that we will talk about now the Walking Dead, no, more pep, very icy introduction to this podcast this week. Yes, yes. Episode eleven of season a dead or alive or har-, whatever. Or this is a bad title for an episode really. I think it should have been or dot dot dot at the very least it just, I don't know. It looks weird on paper. I mean, I guess it's dead or alive or what does he say, whatever the hell is in between. So it's, you know, setting up the punchline, but I guess it's a good line from Neagh in, but is it so good that you have to make the title of your episode? Knock knock jokes. All right. So Josh, a lot to discuss from this week's episode after next Sunday, or if this Sunday, we will be halfway through the back half seventy five percent of the way through season eight of the Walking Dead. That's wild. Yeah, we're still in the thick of the all out war still pick it apart the wreckage of what happened to poor. Carl. And there's so much business still to attend to with this conflict that is brewing between savior in Alexandria N yes. Okay, Josh. So on Sunday night, Jessica Leeson I recap the episode and this is the first that you and I are getting to talk about it, and I did get to watch the talking dead. Yes. Again, just to reiterate my favorite part of the week, outside of the Wanda is getting the talking dead update what happened? What happened on the talking dead? Yes. So the talking dead was a little fun this week. They had on a like an uptick from from where it's been for you in the past? Yeah, a little bit. Well, I think the heart of the thing that helped was there was a comedian, Steve AGA don't really know him from anything, but he seemed to be friendly with Chris Hardwick, and I always felt that that's what you need to sort of lighten the mood on the talking dead because you had the co executive producer, Denise who she's on quite a bit and Dr. Conway, everybody was dying to hear from, oh, what does Dr. Conway? Think about this episode doctor Dr.. Carson, whatever. Yeah, Carson. Just gonna leave. Yes. Fine. You know, I had a, I had a friend when I was a kid. Last name, Conway, doctor, Dr.. Carson kind of looks like a grownup version of what I imagine. Mr. Conway may have grown up to be, so I'm on board, but the name change on there's no one to dispute the record anyway. Right? And so he was gone and you know, but he was such a nothing character. I don't. I don't know why they have these guys on the talking like it's like, oh my God, I gotta hear from that guy. And then the guy who was the comedian Steve, he was he was pretty funny, and he had like, I think you'd like you like somebody that is sort of like get the production people on the ropes a little bit like, hey, how come this is like this and don't just like toe the company line, right? That's probably the talking dead episode that AMC likes the least in terms of its effectiveness for the viewer for entertainment value. That is something that you desire, right, right. I mean, I just watched a serious show for an hour. Well, let's see this sort of lighten the mood a little. Do we want to call this a serious shown? Well, they treat it very serious. They take it various humor on the Walking Dead, not not a lot. Not enough. Certainly not in a while once in a while once in a while. Okay. All right. So Josh. So a lot of things going on the centerpiece was this story line between Gabriel and Dr. Carson and so father. Gabriel looked like he had everything going his way only to have the rug pulled out from under him. What was your take on this whole story line? Well, before we got on here, you and I were talking about how it feels like we watched this episode of the Walking Dead, like five thousand years ago. It feels it feels so far away I did. This was one of the most boring episodes of the Walking Dead I've ever watched. Yes. You're a story is father Gabriel and doc. Dr.. Carson, you know, you're in trouble like you. You know that this show being sixteen episodes this season is just it's an outrageous ask. It's too much to ask to tall and order that being said, like, there's something of the man of science versus man of faith quality that I that I like to it. Although the man of science that moment he decides to become a man of faith just gets blasted. So what's the moral of the story there don't have too much faith in the world of the dead. I suppose I was sort of sad for for Dr., Conway as we like to call him now around these parts that don't say the wrong name that's only going to use them. Okay. Okay. Dr.. Carson Dr.. Carson on that. Mr. Carson. I just love to talk about like what happened to Gabriel because you and I talked about at the time, like is he bit? And it turned out that he's he's not bit, but he's gotten some sort of an infection from the Kombi guts, but it's not an infection that is turning him into his ambi- like he's just somehow gotten sick, which I didn't know that this was like a third thing that happens to you. I thought it'd be there. You put the guts on you get your safe or u-turns were Walker where I didn't know there's like an intermediary phase where you can kill these ambi- infection with antibiotics. I don't feel like that's what's happening, right? Like I got to imagine that Gabriel is still on borrowed time that like he's still dying from the infection. It's just maybe slower than if you were scratched or bid or something like that. Like if he survives this, I'm going to be shot. I don't think he's going to survive that. I think he will die, but not from this. He may not like, I don't know what's going like. He seems like he wants to die, but I think that this is from what I understand and they talked about this on the talking dead with the co, executive producer, Denise Hughes. She talked about how the zombie guts, like it's real people talk about like, why don't they just do this all the time? Well, that stuff is really dirty and nasty, and Chris Hardwick joked about how it's like fecal matter. That's a funny joke, Chris Arctic, and they use like cracking up about that. And so that there's like it's just alluding to the fact that this stuff is really dirty and then you can get sick from it. I think that Neagh in even alluded to it in terms of when they were putting it on, and so sort of putting that out there. But nobody else in the history of the show has ever come down with this type of condition. Yeah. We've never seen this before. We've only seen like Walker gore and Walker contact leading to outright death. So for for this to be kind of like you're saying like this intermediary stage, like if you're not going to die from this, if this is not a lethal terminal conditioner, even a terminus condition, that feels that feels really far away from the the core premises that we, that we know of the ways in which zombie Lor works. Right. So I'll be, I'll be a little frustrated to be honest. If father Gabriel doesn't like outright die from this infection. What I could see is that this way of ingesting the infection of like a coming down with the sickness takes longer than if you were to be bitten out, right? And it's just like a slower, burn a slower, build that being said in real time, has it been a long period of time since father? Gabriel got sick in the first place has been much longer than like two days. At maximum who knows who could tell say is really hard to say. I just a couple of questions and comments on this from you guys. This really killed me. Jeff Davis sent an email and he sent me a screen shot of father Gabriel with his blurry vision from this episode and he wrote, is it just me or just father? Gabriel's POV looked like it was shot in Spink her view.
