I've never liked them. I don't want to own one. I find that they gum up your pipes, they cause damage to the sewage treatment plant and they smell bad. Now there's a couple of different things you can do. First, you can go to your local hardware store, go to the plumbing department, and they have these little spheres. They smell like orange, you drop them into your garbage disposal and boom, it's sanitizing clean. I don't want to spend any money. I'll take a big bowl of vinegar, pop it in my microwave, let it run for about 6 minutes that cleans the microwave, then pour that scalding vinegar down through the garbage puzzle. That will do the job. Or I can take my ice tray, fill it full lemon juice, freeze them, run the garbage disposal. And again, I've cleaned it and it smells better.
