How to Reverse Engineer Success with Social Psychologist Ron Friedman

"Let's talk about that. Reverse engineering because you are a psychologist you study top performance in you. Discover something that you really weren't expecting through that process. I'd love to hear more. Yeah what i discovered. Is that most of the people have gone to the top of their profession. They're not relying on talent. They're not relying on practice. In fact there's a problem with the formula that practice will get you to the top and that problem is that you can't practice an idea you've never considered and so the best ideas don't come through hours and hours of practice. They come by looking at what the best in the field or doing and then working backward to figure out how they did it and that turns out to be a remarkably common approach among top performers. So how would you. Ron define reverse engineering. I mean i think a lot of our listeners. Understand it as a general term but like what is your definition. My definition is finding the best in a field and then working backward to figure out how they did it now. In silicon valley the idea of reverse engineering is very well known. It's how he the personal computer and laptops and even the iphone but what most people realize is that reverse engineering is also how stephen king and malcolm glide well learned to write and how painters like claude monet and pablo picasso learned to paint and even how judd appetite learn to write comedy reverse engineering turns out to be far more common than anyone realized.

'Jaws' Expert Valerie Taylor Tells What It's Like to Get Bitten by a Shark

"A debate brewing over sharks Should shark bites be called attacks or just encounters as beachgoers. Witness survivors getting rushed to the hospital viral video posted just this weekend showing a hammerhead shark in Panama City Beach getting a little too close to swimmers. Some wildlife experts are pushing to rebrand interactions with the ocean's apex predator, calling them bites, negative encounters or incidents instead of attacks. I would say any time we're painting any wildlife as interested in harming humans. We're reducing people's positive feelings about them. People's desire to see them conserved and protected and increasing the likelihood that people see them as Villains or antagonists. For years. They've been the bad guys in movies like Jaws. We're gonna need a bigger coach and the Meg about a massive megalodon shark. But experts say in reality shark bites are rare and that using language like attack gives a false impression of intent. Page winter who was bitten by a shark in 2019, losing part of her leg. Told all Robin Roberts she didn't see her encounter as the Sharks fault. This situation has urged me to learn more about sharks. I didn't do something directly to the shark, but I was in his water. You know, That's his house. But Dave Pearson, who survived a shark attack in Australia and now runs a support group called Bite Club says avoiding the word attack downplays the very real danger. We can't keep sanitizing things to the point where we It feels like when you're the person involved. It feels like someone's dismissing your experience and dismissing your troller is something that's insignificant. You need to be aware that there is an element of danger out there and we call them Apex predators for a reason. And predators bite things. Even Stephen Colbert weighing in on the debate. I'm sorry, ma'am, a shark interacted with your husband's torso. He's experiencing a not being alive. Incident. Whatever they're called. Officials are taking these encounters seriously in Cape Cod, where at least 50 confirmed great white shark sightings have been reported this past month on the APP, shark tive, itty. Researchers deployed acoustic receivers to track great whites to keep people safe. It's a really valuable way to find out more about the movement of great white sharks. That's important information for the public to know when they are going to the beach. You know where they might be more likely to encounter a white shark. When you're at the beach. Look for signs of sharks. If there are seals in the water. There might be sharks nearby, because they eat seals. If there are birds flying in the air, that means they're looking for fish that sharks are also probably looking for. So if you do go swimming, try to go in pairs in groups Just be smart. Generally and also remember that unprovoked shark bites are exceedingly rare. There were fewer than 100 globally just last year at CBC's will review coming

The Mysterious Case of The Boys on the Tracks

"Stephen hit the emergency brake. While simultaneously sounding the whistle. The train was traveling at the federal speed limit of fifty five miles per hour which caused the cars to shudder and buck when the emergency brake was applied. Stephen never let off the whistle. But the three men didn't see the pair on the tracks move flinch at all the sound made when the train ran over the two bodies. No doubt haunted these three men for the rest of their lives according to lever. It's book the boys on the tracks. The boys were dragged under the train for a bit. Stephen managed to get his shocked reaction under control and was successful in bringing the train to stop the crew. Radio dispatch to alert them to the incident and then local law enforcement was notified when the men walked along the tracks. They begin finding body parts. They noticed something was odd. There wasn't much blood. Jerry was a native arkansan who had hunted his entire life and knew how animals bled when they were killed. He said later that there was very little blood and of the blood that was present. It was a dark purplish color at four a. n. just thirteen minutes. After the train crew made the first report members of the selene county sheriff's department arrived on scene. One of the first officers began diagramming. The scene then additional emergency personnel began arriving including arkansas state trooper. Railroad officials an paramedics in what was going to be the first of many mistakes oversights and downright cover-ups the officer diagramming. The scene used the train as is reference point. Once the train left the scene the point of reference was gone forever. Moreover officers let another train pass through short time after the impact further disrupting evidence. The two deputies treated the scene as a cut and dried suicide however the trooper who arrived on scene had received a call of shots fired in the same area several hours before he did not respond earlier in the night but responded to the scene when he heard the call about a train accident he was leader shocked and disturbed by the deputies immediate dismissal of this as a suicide he told him he did not believe it was an accident but had to back off since it was the sheriff's department's jurisdiction

How Do You Feel About Freedom Day? With Shelley Treacher

"Shelly. Thanks for joining us today. we wanted to talk to you about freedom day as it's been cooled while the restrictions lift everything's going back to normal and i guess the big question is you know. There's a lot of excitement around freedom day but a low of also feeling not excited and more kind of anxious and worried uncomfortable. Why is that. What's worrying about freedom honestly. I think it's really normal response to a very abnormal situation with still in an abnormal situation. I mean coming out of long. Isolation caused by terrifying deadly threats on other systems is still going to be triggered. One reason we might feel like this is because we've got used to being on god and it might take a while to come out with the body's threats like response to calm down and to get back to normal because we've been vigilant for so long and on top of that it's also possible that some of us have developed social anxiety after being isolated from others for so long so we might have a natural inclination to just wanna stay indoors and you know some of us might have here of being seen having relied on food to cope with the pandemic and coping with the pandemic might also have caused us to block off our feelings. I think. Also one thing that i'm definitely experiencing i don't know if it's the same view both but i feel novus as kind of lifting lockdown and you know mosques no longer being required and i feel very much like is the outside world actually safe. Do you feel like. That's a coleman fear and how do we deal with. Yeah i see this all the time. I mean people go from one extreme to the other. Some people have really kind of in. Denial probably blase about the risks. But a lot of my clients are saying or. I'm not really sure this is happening. All of a sudden and is a bit of a shock. So i think probably the best thing to do is to take it slowly and to check things of change. Things are different now and it's going to take a physiological systems time to catch up with that but we need to check the news tech health things have changed and check what the actual risks are now. Because they've changed. It's been a massive journey from beginning to end this million so far and we kinda need to examine exactly what we're terrified of now because it might be stuck in a year and a half ago the also it's worth mentioning light. You can still do the safety things that he made. You feel secure like i'm going to continue wearing mosques et cetera at least for the foreseeable yes hundred percent to be on his stephen dislike having this conversation an hearing all the things you talking about. Shelly i was just getting bit. Novice abou- circus. I think the way that i've dealt with Freedom day and everything is just total. Denial you know thinking that. I'm just gonna stand. A fat is fine. I'm not going to go out. Because i can work from home. I'm not going to go out to a workplace. I'm not gonna go out an go together ings yet. I'm just gonna keep wearing my mosque. Yeah it's It's a bit of a scary time. Isn't it and yes. So i will still be wearing mosque I think for me phase around the social stuff is interesting. You mentioned around this ocean anxieties because of things do this. Whole pandemic in sums of different friends approaching the whole thing very differently so i've been incredibly cautious. My whole family's been incredibly cool shit like going way beyond the government guidelines and then seeing like one of my best friends being Not cautious and not not breaking the rules but certainly being relaxed around everything.

"Women are disproportionately more affected by kito than men and the older. You are the more disproportionately affected you are so meaning if you have a twenty year old health coach and we were all twenty one twenty year old health coaches right like i was a personal trainer in through college in my early twenties. And you can get away with almost anything and also your blood markers and everything also look fantastic but what happens is you're not dealing with carrying on life in your body so when you are when you're responsible for that you put your body in that type of a hermetic stressor that type of stressor you're gonna start to see thyroid levels go down you're gonna start to see estrogen dominance cortisol levels potentially rise in the short term. And what does that do well. It leads to then a slower and lower metabolic rate which some people are very proud of like. Oh i only need to eat fifteen hundred dollars a day now on. I'm just saying like that's not a good thing. You want to be able to eat as many calories as you can because that means that furnace is always running. So it's situations like that. That i think are really harming his industry and and i love this industry health and fitness. So it's just. It's just too bad. That i see a lot of that out

Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu, Book Review

"I had for you the book the dow de ching by loud z and actually have two versions of this. There is the first translated by stephen mitchell and then another one which is by dc. lau before. I talk about why read translations go to chat about the dow de ching itself and the author lousy. This was supposedly written or at least created somewhere between six hundred to two hundred bc. And there's two versions of who it is and what this is. There is the more traditional version which it was written by one person lousy and that he was a contemporary of confucius this place at the back in time closer to the six hundred to four hundred bc. There's some mythical stories on the origin of him saying he existed two hundred years like he was a some semi multiple type of person. And then there's the more modern version which is scholars looking at saying We're not exactly sure that this was written by solely one person and the name themself loud z. Can actually be translated to something like the elderly. The old man the sage and so they think it was more written after the time of confucius almost as a backlash to it not a backlash in the sense of the essential shrunk z. But more of something that came afterwards and then it could have been written by many people and has just one person as the traditional rider such as harm in the grape myths and this was more a bunch of things put together. And it's not exactly certain that it's like one person ridden at one time. The dow de ching itself is translated. Something like the way of integrity or the text on the path of virtue. Something like that. And this is one of the fundamental texts of taoism and it was the first and probably the most well known as well and so therefore lousy is the most northern of the towel west masses or the towers sages. this is written in the style of eighty-one versus and each verse has somewhere between four to thirty lines. Most of them hovering her inbetween that sort of eight to sixteen period.

"Did welcome to offer people stories. Yeah so finally be able to find some common time to talk. We usually begin our conversation with the guest. Introducing says so if you can start with the audience story how did you get into it and particularly kind of things that you do now. How has your particularly been great. Yeah well thanks again for having me. Thanks everyone for tuning in for this episode on. Yeah so my name's said harrington. And i am in the fortunate position that i get to lead a group of ethical hackers and we have this consulting company called. Ise independent security evaluators. And we get to help. Some of the most foremost technologies in the world solve their security challenges. We're the we're the good guys. Hackers people reach out to us and ask them to have their stuff and as a result of all the different pieces of security research be published over the years. We've packed everything from cars and medical devices to phones and passer managers. Happy to tell all kinds of stories about those. If we want as a result. I a couple of years ago realized that there were a lot of problems that it seemed like everybody had. Everybody seemed to have the same problems. I kept having the same conversations over and over again and ultimately decided that i needed to write a book to help everybody who could get their hands on the book. Solve those problems. I wrote a book called hackel how to do application security right and it basically identifies the very rampant misconceptions that hold many companies back in terms of how to secure software systems and what they should replace them with instead. So that's my whole world view. Everything that we would talk about here is gonna come from that viewpoint of ethical hacking which is the corner of the security world. I come from and And then of course being an entrepreneur in that space doing these things so that sorta the quick glimpse into me. That's good so what got you interested in this space. Thanks for having me excited to be here in case people don't know who you are. You're you're based out of Toronto Canada. They tend to find yourself in. And I just, I'm just curious, you know, how did you ever find yourself in that position? Yeah, so, I guess it goes back. I mean, so first one, when I was younger, I'd played a bit of time, Rainbow Six on Xbox, like early Xbox and that's a new bra know in Canada, there was definitely like, I mean, it was really a sports then it was just people pussy. Thought that was a really interesting kind of business and it paired a little bit with my current experience in the financial industry and honestly we're just getting excited by wage. They were going to be the number one seed, but Seattle won this game. Instead, Niners win it, and they now will be at home for a CZ. Long's. They're still in the post season tournament. And and that was that was a goal going into this football game is getting that by getting this team rested up a little bit, But we saw again. We saw rookie stand up and make a play. Now, you may think you're making a comparison with Dan Buns. That is, That's a big compared. I mean, I know Dan buns, and I know you're pissed off about, you know being you know that being part of, you know, that was his His his signature moment. Absolutely. Was that stopping the superb goal? I think this is neither the Curtis or Lorenzo Alexander passed from Ken Anderson. He caught it literally on the one yard line and buns. Lifted him off his feet, planted him right there. The one held him in his tracks, and we saw the exact really the same kind of thing from Greenlaw. If Green Law is not just absolutely blank, it'd In the coverage. That's a touchdown. I was a hell of a place and somebody had to make a play. I mean, the second half there was no plays on the defensive side of the ball. Russell Wilson kind of took over the football game like he does in every game. Every game against the 40 Niners, at least and I didn't see how they're going to stop him. And we're sitting here. We're yelling. This bar was packed. And we're saying defense, Stephen. Somebody make a play. They got they get the first down and they go down. They get the penalty. They go back. And then great Dre..

Open a bottle of wine and their game plan is just a sort of sip on that wine as they lament about their most recent rejection. What would you say them? Oh yeah you gotta get away from the second you get rejected that needs to be your fuel to to start the next call when you get rejected. You gotta go. Oh well. That's Great. The next one's going to be win and tell yourself that every single time. But what if you got rejected personally? It was a real intense rejected. If you've got a negative really intense rejection their Stephen I have cry a little bit on the inside while you're making while you're dialing the next number he had somebody send you a harsh. What would you vote questions we have for Stephen? He's doing it man. I mean just Stephen knowing the numbers that there's three percent out there buying now does that help you to just swallow rejection and keep going just thinking about the fact that you can build an empire on three percent of them help. Well it helped. It's helpful for me to know that my numbers are better than three percent. "Biden clashing with the candidate with the other candidates and no big winners or losers in the debate I don't feel but joke by at least was standing in his eyes then start bleeding or anything like that so there was no major he remained a few gaps right as usual but nothing that I think was gonna to be damage to damaging cooling Castro is a big loser actually who are called out Biden basically trying to insinuate that he was too old and that I think drew some we can hear that we will have that cliff now of Julian Castro calling Biden forgetful because it was so well the key moments in the debate. I'm sorry I'm sorry we got. before we do that we've got a guest on the line with us got firsts in democratic political consultant sorry Scott I jumped the gun there. okay what we do but in Castro's so I would like very much like yeah you can call me forgetful because I just I I just pulled up by the way do you not remember that you just call him on the phone yes I'm getting. but the jobs to vote for you okay thank you very much but what do you what was your impression of the debate winners and losers Scott. yeah I think I think I think consistently the loser before does very well in these in these in these things I think it gets better yeah Biden though that the Castro biking exchange was interesting I agree with you that that Castro was a loser and it was interesting I agree with you that that Castro was a loser and that's and that maybe you have to throw sort of hail Mary passes to do these things whether you are a provider not people like so we sort of impact in that way yeah it is called full what you eat it was the hope. old is one thing yeah you know I I thought that was a big was also a big loser for me was come what Harris select button is very very good but I really really bad performance in that debate had a really really bad performance in that debate at all got behind the curtain on the wizard of oz well I think I have to get a little I don't know yeah we all know it's like who is it's like that little guy it's like you mean the wizards like the wizard of talking about a call it's called the wizard of oz that you know it didn't know it was terrible line with the tough questions to find the palace. yeah and I think the palace. yeah and it may have been over prepared I mean which used when her best she is your she's very competent cheaper craze that she's smart. obviously got the boxes of state I think that just turned over prepared to try to get her up and destroying over prepared to try to get her up into that you saw we know that top tier and I think that was a mistake. Warren Riquet continually slides during these debates she doesn't really get very many tough questions like the others have I think it's pretty pretty obvious that the media really likes her and do you know the old to call the closest she came to get taken a little shot was when Joe Biden said while you're with Bernie I'm with Barak but even even kind of box that line a little bit so it didn't really resonate very much I thank. but as you say. I believe that the if I didn't believe that the the bar that we have for him yeah. so it has been the most. the other person who gets. the other person who did well who doesn't get the credit for some time with the traction is the court reporter did you all end up in this debate it is on the debate stage is clearly he looks to be several inches taller than most of the month yeah yeah yeah and I think that kind of presence it may be that the or you sell by the crowd doesn't translate to the small stage but he does better in small stage but I think better and it doesn't doesn't necessarily see outside of these debates in either those deluded judge either devoted judge either yeah yes like the smart guy the smartest guy in a room but nobody really but not the greatest politician maybe now in the people vote for my going to be really crowded that voted for years to come yeah and yeah I like that you know sort of that sense of reality. clear headed thinking on the stage which yeah which I like yeah no it is definitely some good things about him he just that never seems to win the debate Sir have a key moment that he needs to take off. right I'm not sure he's capable just thought I would give him thirty Joe Biden say you can go to set. I kind of did you just forget what you said. you know I can't imagine ever doing that and then at one point in the debate he said water you know we should be attacking each other and the newly Castro what rightly pointed out letting Castro what rightly pointed out well this is a democratic election that's what elections are all about so yeah you get cash from that point is exactly right in contrast why we watch right you know everyone's agreeing on every day everything and everyone is complement each other that. that's not gonna work and yet you know maybe call Prasar in pointing that out the first one to do that put it out exactly what you're not doing very well she's not gonna contrast and she's got to start doing that right right I agree yeah she didn't particularly impressed and although some people thought she did well I didn't see it myself but what do you think the race going forward the polls seem to suggest we did a poll with Bernie Sanders up in New Hampshire over jobs to be slipping a little bit. I think that I I still think. I I still think that you know you've got three front runners I'm still skeptical that they die just assume one will rise of sort of. start to take will rise of sort of. got to take calls from the other one in and I've always thought that would be was before taking votes from job right I mean from Bernie Sanders yeah but I think there is you know I think there's room for so there's there's room for two or three more in a single room for Cory Booker or somebody else it remains an interesting interesting yeah and I think the story going into it and I think the story going into into despair and Iowa New Hampshire as people start to pay attention if they can ride that momentum man. take a ride that momentum man you know there's room enough for somebody in the Gary Hart position come up from the side at the end of your company and when these early contests yeah I agree I always going to be key to some to whatever you know because whoever wins I always gonna bring that momentum to New Hampshire and or whoever does well in Iowa or somebody might surprise and do you like snag a third place showing or second place showing that even be considered protected even be called as like the winner of the other I would. they sneak up like that so that I think there's I don't I wouldn't it is a three person race right now but I wouldn't totally rule out. maybe as of at making it a four person race. give it a four person race. absolutely. and other people with money I mean you could should just get money that that they'll hang on through you know maybe they're one of those people but it yeah there there are a few people were sitting outside of the capture of their out through at least those first couple contest. yeah there's no reason for them to drop out. but you what do you think do you have the people like seem to yeah I think it's interesting that the candidates all seems like want to talk about trump trump let's go out let's attack truck okay SunTrust cuddle here is that was her strategy but it like you said we work it out so much in the doesn't really work that's so much in the division the dates are all about trying to draw contrasts and that's what the questions are in the media is rightly tried to get the differences between the candidates it's not going to be all about trump. this is where I think you know church does I think the best job in terms of having a message that resonates with a broader one that might resonate with the rest of the people who will be tuning in to sort of see the differences and you've got all the clover sure she she can she can go in the corners are you can you can you can really wants from the Midwest. to find what that being. does a better job yup you can sort of more. a better delivery or delivery with the cerebral aspects of the people that you might actually have the ideal candidate that's what we're looking for the Democratic Party someone is gonna win in both places at all I where in Michigan and in Wisconsin. wondering ally what your thoughts are on this new not entirely new but sort of growing. crowd singing with Elizabeth Warren you know how organic do you think it is certainly are is there seems to be some excitement there but it also strikes me as odd. some sort of electability argument that our campaign is trying to make but they're trying to make it look more or or get report on huge crowd sizes. yeah it's I actually think. yeah it's I actually think that every class sizes in general what I've been large I think really large crowds sizes of our press of I think they are with your dog shop for Liz with water because until obviously with Donald Trump what is your present United States to get a crowd but when he was a candidate you get you cry and Elizabeth Warren is getting big crowds and and just as somebody who can be really hard to get a lot of people to show up at one place at the same time it's just look at one place at the same time it's just really hard to do it consistently stop the stop the stop is I think books that testament to think both that's meant to love well hello what people working on our campaign. big big field organizing and ground game which I think is smart and then obviously people coming out people are just being. outlet that they're coming out of here I think the book the combination of two is driving the crowd size and and then I just I just I just find it impressive and I think frankly if I were in there sure in their shoes to I would want you all to notice because it's hard to do. yes Sir I so you don't. you definitely. I agree that it is it is a tough thing to do what do you think what do you think that's about that and you know what where do you work if you've heard anything or or what what's your sense. people of what what do you know this I think she's coming around on the electability question proceed to be coming up on that. read eight set that get that produced Sanders Donald Trump level. Sanders Donald Trump level this sort of I'm gonna go down there and I'm gonna start flipping over tables and upsetting the Washington apple cart yeah people believe that with trump Stephen somebody Sanders owners believe that would drop. people starting to think well that didn't work are starting to think well that didn't work before it might be that person so I think the message resonates as well. come in to attack the corporate. overlords if you will who are causing whatever problems that individual might out I think it's something that that resonates a lot of these places that she's going in these early primary and caucus states are what is the feeling among a consulting people that represent corporate interests like you for instance guy but you do you will when you do a fine job of it you were you have a lot of clients are there people worry is there like concerned Elizabeth Warren is gonna comes like really hard on corporations and start taxing people and you know that kind of thing. I think you don't honestly the the the one for it here and it just for people sort of in the financial services industry and others. respect for her I think if there's any fear of a list for a actually actually does which. and you know and I think you're holding a corporate interest account even if you're represent corporate interests this is the it's something I think that that the that that resonates with people somebody who I think you're pretty Sanders who seems to sort of talk about upsetting a fifth of the. talk about upsetting a fifth of the economy it just sort of actually it was before and..

So all that Lila rose in live action, this, you know, pro-life website has to do is remove anything from Twitter or their website about abortion procedures, quote, anything about abortion procedures anything about investigations of Planned Parenthood, and all all tra- sound images. "During the complicated. Handshakes what you mean? Oh, one two three four Braun had a host handshake was whole everybody on the squad. Remember all that? Any given you his hair shit. Like, I got that man. We've got one handshake and anybody do hold on to this day. Bone his. I disagree. I like it a like a little bit. Because you know, what I'm glad they brought it back in the NFL where you could celebrate. You know what I'm saying? I mean, there's a little bit entertainment. You can't you know, what I really miss date. Let's that. I'm this a little bit tall. And man, I missed the threat. Amid no no players Tom each other a player on this shark have dug into a new employee listed. Different of miss. Reggie miller. Dona interview saying John Starks choked, you know, that's like everything is some corroboration be cool with everybody. But you were athlete you were hard. You should be able to talk a little bit. If you watched Jalen documentary from the fab five it seems like every time I'll get a bucket. You would've got technical today? Yo, bro. You I watched that documentary. There was HBO Showtime wanted them job. You'll bro you was wiling. Family. Hey was like they can't what you're talking about is. I think I don't know if it's because cats making so much bread. Now have so much Fain. Like, it ain't even worth it it like, whatever. Right. It's like even. I'll talk about later because I want to talk to you about it with do and comparing. Yeah, go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead and coke. Yeah. Yeah. So basically, I was doing something. So I didn't get the whole gist of Stephen somebody of never Dake when I was in the middle returned back trying to compare Duke Snare Nair. to the fab five he was like you bugging. You. Can't discipline aim his one. Oh. Away wanted to know how you compare this to the Pfaff was much different to where it wasn't a one and done situation, and you may stay fit and least three or four years. Stay for three Chris. But there would date now like with Duke team is no discipline on defense because you guys I on Barrett. Saying I'm going to get highlights because I know you guys are gonna talk about it. I want to be on ESPN. Top ten plays at the end of the game. And I'm not really going to be here after the seasons. Don't go back to class. So I don't really think it's a comparison with them against y'all is the smoke and by the way, they lost like what the second third game right game. Told my fashion big fashion icon was back in for play basketball league point. Blackout Rockies the hot top Iraqis the black. That was big enough vote that was called weapons. "Absurd. You've made appearances at four David Horowitz's freedom center events again, four separate times for speeches amongst Mr. Horowitz's statements quoting here. This country is only serious race war is against whites. I'll ask the questions John McCarthy game. And I'm giving from the question. Okay. He also said if blacks are oppressed in America, why isn't there a black exits now in two thousand fifteen in your speech before the freedom center. You said of Mr. Horowitz, David has done such a great work, and I've been into Mirer adventure these conferences in the past. And I've been a big mirror of an organization that shoot straight tells the American people the truth in standing up for the right thing. Those are his words, here's my here's my voice. He didn't even made those statements then yes, he had, sir. The first statement was made. Supposed to know. Stephen somebody makes. Yeah. Look at the way the way Gillam looks at him when he squeaks like that. And this by the way, this is all this is all Jordan Peterson dominance hierarchies stuff. And he's right about some of this. So look at the body language look at who looks better on TV, look whiny and defensive look who's calm collected in clear and made those statements then yes, he had, sir. The first statement was made who the hell am I supposed to know every single statement? Somebody makes here's the deal. Let me just say this. Let me just say this straight up. You know, I've lived my life, whether it's athletics, whether it's military whether it's serving as a prosecutor, you know, when I was down. Yeah. Serving as a Florida prosecutor would be a great indicator for the sensitivity, racial Justice issue. Also, I bet go into the Cavanaugh. I played varsity sports with blacks. Yeah. Right. Actually, if you re Christian pickle book, we have on the show he talks about one of the first in. One of the first disconnects he had between being a skinhead in as in highschool was playing football with black players, and he was able to put aside his literal skinhead membership to win some games. Jenner rack we worked together as a team regardless of race. We had the American flag on our arm. We wore the same uniform, and we fought for the country when I was a prosecutor I stood up for victims of every race color and creed that's the only way to do it in our country. It's something I believe in and as governor I will represent all the people everyone will get a fair shake, but I am not going to bow down to the altar of political correctness. I'm going to not let them media smear me like a like to do with so many other people are certainly not gonna take anything from Andrew gillum. Who's endorsed the dream defenders, which says Israel is an apartheid state, and which says no place in Justice. Mr cross. Mississippi Santa's home, I wish you would wait for the question. 'cause I had a question. It's not what you think it is Mr. Gilmore give me a chance to respond. Let me first say my grandmother used to say a hit dog will holler. Through this room. Mr. Disentis spoken. Hey, first of all he's got Neo Nazis, helping him out in this state. He is spoken at racist conferences, he's accepted a contribution. And would not return it from someone who referred to the former president of the United States as a Muslim in our when asked to return that money. He said, no he's using that money to now fun negative ads. Now, I'm not calling Mr. Disentis a racist. I'm simply saying the racist believe he's a racist. This is the Santa slow if I would ask the audience to please let us through the Santa's now respond the conference. I attended was key noted by medal of honor recipient. And of course, it's perfect because he goes actually to the most pathetic form of identity politics there. There's one person playing identity politics the way people use the term pejoratively in that clip. And that's him. The pejorative critique of identity politics is that everything else is subordinate purely to your identity your positions. Don't matter your arguments. No matter your identity is the only thing that matters. And to the extent that that's ever true. That of course, is is either an incomplete picture or just wrong. And the only person that's doing that is him. I was played sports..

"Just what a seventy year old news. Sad. Sad sad again say they'll say something about Donald Trump quick because I know we get another clip, but he Obama would go weeks upon weeks without taking questions from the press, Donald Trump. This is the third time in in less than a week that he's taking questions from reporters. Right. He's not afraid to get out in front of these people. It's not the traditional press conference at the podium inside the White House, but it's still talking to reporters. Whether it's the rose garden, whether it's out there doing the shopper presser who out of the three times in the last week. He's been at the podium. This was at the chopper presser. He wrapped up the chopper presser by once again talking about how he never drank alcohol. Well, I don't drink. I've never had a drink. I don't drink beer. I've never had a beer head. I'm not saying good or bad some people like it. I just chose not to do that. For a lot of reasons. I think that. I remember my college days. Everybody was drinking normal normal. It was totally normal. Everybody was drinking and they used to a lot of beer. There was nothing wrong. I just didn't choose to do that. Almost everybody else did. So I don't see anything wrong. I never tried to. Yes. Stephen. Somebody asked at the very end get ready to play.

"Fifty nine and a half. In older so listen up if you're fifty nine and a. Half in older still working, at your current, job fifty nine half an older still working at your current job you're allowed in most case not all, cases but most cases to roll. Some of our all of? Your 401K your current one? Or TSP or four three. B into vehicles like this why should you do that why should you, do that thirty percent bonus. Lifetime income you can't get Lifetime income out of your foreign k. TSP, SPF three ruby you can get a hypothetical income, all right but why Jack? In the movement at here's what I have had. Somebody do recently Stephen somebody came in to see me the over fifty nine and a half they. Had about six hundred thousand dollars in their foreign k we. Move five hundred into the, thirty percent bonus, actually when I took the application was twenty two us happy to call him back ago hey why you, know a few days ago they. Bumped the bus up to? Thirty and they're gonna honored? For you and that made. Him really happy Eighty eight percent yeah so, I left on five hundred grand it adds up right or on anything it adds up but I left we left a hundred grand in there because. He wanted to keep, getting the employer match all right and. Wanted to keep it funded on. Account until we retired getting employer match. Any had I reminded me had a. Year to come back and maybe snatched. The money move some money transfers the money out of that account over into this, Boehner's account and, get the, same thirty percent matchy had one four year to do that. So again if you're fifty nine. And a. Half and still at your current job you can roll part of that current retirement. Account, over into one of these vehicles in need to call Steven to see. If that makes any sense I find a vehicle it doesn't. Have to be this vehicle it could be into. Any IRA there's no taxes when you do that there's no penalties when you do that. It's, just? A trustee to trustee transfer I, roll over so to speak from one a group plan to an individual, plant but no taxes no penalties And a thirty percent. Bonus it's amazing.
