"The small hands of Jack ops. Hello Hey. What's up on? All right. Good is a world series over. No. No what's a Scorza series right now? Tied One. Game three tonight. Okay. Good pivotal third game ever. So we're we're we're doing this thing on if you saw not for the the vfw or raising money or something, you'd see this or no. Good excellence wife's It's good to have you for the right so. Steve Explain. Decided I'M GONNA. Let you make a big decision here for the show. If you're comfortable doing they're comfortable doing it. Up. Go ahead, set apart what's up jared. So we so we are doing an event vfw hall to raise money for them, and we decided to do it in form of a raffle rather than just selling tickets first come first serve. So who buys a raffle ticket for twenty five bucks gets a chance at winning a ticket to come to the live show. Kirk decide to sweeten the pot a little and say that of all the people who bought a ticket two of them two of them would be selected for a chance to come sit in the studio and Co host episode of the Kirkman show with Kirk. So you're right. So I guess the the Bay we're having right now Stephen IRA decided. Let you be the arbiter on this is. Do we the two tickets for the person who gets a CO host the show she choose those two after we choose the forty four. Or should one of those also get a chance a Costa show or getting a ticket for that live show? Is that enough and then we just do the other two. hurt.

"Two oh seven two in this Wednesday it's Anna here on WG and so we've been talking about mass throughout the show and whether or not do you think they should be mandatory in public should mass be mandatory well city of available Arkansas other council city council just made it mandatory anywhere in the city outdoors indoors wherever you go key have to wear one I don't know if they find you I don't know if they've had a crack down on it but they even have a hot line they've set up to report you call yeah out people can call you out I guess they know your name and they they reported the city or take a picture I don't know what they do but there's a hotline and you can report people who are not following that new rule that's happening I should have the automated voice that answers like being the voice of Mrs Kravitz from the west well I have never get it together right I mean it's a it's a it's a that's a new high I want I just I don't know if it's gonna be a new thing at hotline set up I wonder I've got a couple tax year you want to get to sevens of three I was in Lake Geneva yesterday some stores would not let you walk in the door without a mask a popular restaurant we went to other wait staff nobody was wearing masks but the tables were part and that kind of thing we were outside but I love the restaurant so we stayed but I still feel uncomfortable as an example there yeah some US stores like you need to let you go in without masses it's totally separate wants there to another another Texas Rio I would get a cupcake to get sanitized and we were talking about the UV lights that the magnolia bakery the famed magnolia bakery the cupcake place in New York is going to start opening with these UV lights that scan your body and sanitize your skin and your clothing as you enter so that's like some of the stuff you gotta go through in order to get your cupcake six three houses they do it what about you should the mass be mandatory is that where we're going with this whole thing and so you know we saw the thing with United and delta they just put out rules for this saying they are mandatory on their flights you must wear a mask there is a story I saw today of it was a flight I think out of Texas might have been from one Texas city to another thought did you where they they actually did kick someone off the guy deplaned there was a there was a battle back and forth with the one I saw with the flight attendant it was like a trending video and they were on the flight and it seemed like one woman was screaming like make him wear a mask and he did he was making some sort of his state and some for a case and then the flight attendant asks do you have a medical condition Sir that we need to know about I guess that would preclude you from having to wear a mask and he he didn't say yes he didn't answer that piece of it and I think he he got booted from that flight that's so that's what they're saying will happen now even more than that delta says if you want to stay in their good graces for future flights you have to follow the rules I'm wearing masks during flights or they'll put you on this list and they may ban you from travel in the future United is saying kind of a similar thing I think right the saying also you got you must wear a mask it is now mandatory during take off its requirements I just went about mealtime mealtime you can't possibly be a requirement but I guess the rest of the the flights if you're reading something that maybe maybe get excluded there but sounds like it they're they're gonna put you on a list there are taken very seriously and if you don't comply so you would lose your flight privileges with that particular airline if you don't go along with the rules so that's happening in in in that is sort of like the whole grand scheme of things I was wondering you know what what's legal here how far can a business go in order to enforce this kind of stuff and what what's what's going on here is probably new laws are being written all the time about how to handle this kind of thing and I'm like let's ask lawyer Karen county are what our favorite attorneys here who's in a new time slot here on WG and congrats Karen you're on on your on last Sunday's what five to seven is that we find you five everyone can eat dinner with me on Sunday night that's I love it I love your show and I get to skip it I'm trying to come come upon understanding all this sort of thing because I wonder okay so I I guess United and delta can do that they can save that's okay you don't wear a mask you can't planner airport airline but however this is where things go legally here in terms of businesses and their ability to kick you off or deny you service for not wearing a mask yeah I mean they can't and you know the whole No shoes no shirt no math no service now we have to add you know there are reasons why you can't go barefoot into certain places and they've been deemed to be safety hazards and health hazards so certainly this is going to be something that's legal and you know I just want to get my hair cut yesterday at up which was really a pleasure the first one yeah kind of that not not so much the first one is that we don't all wait a minute there's something right going on I I'm not going to incriminate myself too much I'm gonna go to hell with you because he would win a legal battle so if you do need to do it and then it looks great though you can't get it I'm so happy but but you know I had my temperature taken I had my hand side it has three times and I signed a three page single spaced waiver that I didn't even read me the lawyer right so and I thought to myself I get it I'm really not offended because everyone's trying to be safe and everyone but it's also a few Y. es I think people in and businesses are afraid they're going to get sued you know and so and of course I'm sitting here saying how could I ever prove I got it anyway how can I prove I got it while getting my hair cut or getting on the bus or some snotty kid at the you know at the grocery store I mean how do I know where I got it so but but companies are taking precautions and frankly don't you think Anna that you mean you traveled you know people are very close to each other ten closed environment to me there is a place you really want to have a mascot right not just for not spreading it but not getting it you know what the airlines cutting so many of their flights because of him people are weren't flying right out at their crowded so maybe at least you know it's anecdotal I I don't know I haven't seen that all the data on this but you know enough when you see people you know putting on social media that look at their first plane that it's it seems like there are a lot of crowded spots and they're not all middle seats open and people aren't really socially distance and you are in we income close proximity to somebody who's not your immediate family for a long period of time so that those are exactly the scenarios are hearing from health officials that we have to be wary of and this is something I know from having represented people who have been accused of crimes and accused of being drunk on airplanes I mean I've I've had those cases over the years first of all the airlines take these things seriously you've got a bunch of things going on you've got people are stressed out because they're traveling like a running later stressed out there you're really close to keep all people you don't know and probably don't wouldn't like if you got to know them and it's a very volatile situation because you don't want the crowd to get ugly when you're up way thousands of miles in the air and so what I'm understanding is that they could ban you at the gate if you won't wear a mask and once you get on if you choose not to the flight attendants are being told you know try to get them to do it but don't say I'm gonna rush you because you don't want it you don't want people to be arrested on board that could cause a huge problem but my concern is the opposite what happens if you take your mask off and you go listen I'm not going to comply because I'm at a deadlock and all the sudden the crowd gets ugly and says well you put it on because we've got it on and then it could be the reverse it could be the opposite could be that person into you know could be endangered because she's not keeping our mascot so I'm very concerned about these rules it's not so much because the rules are illegal but because people may not comply with the and then the guy who sent Alonso I what does that matter I don't know I don't the video the video I'm referencing earlier without one Stephen ira talking is exactly that it gets a little I mean it gets awfully tense that was the whole purpose of it the.

"Of the country's best instructors and be put through the high-octane Russia Browley on mud dirt and tarmac. It started today. Call four to five eight. Eight hundred seventy seven fifteen or visit US online at Dirk Fish Dot com and use code nine one one for fifteen percent discount. You're listening to the down and dirty radio show powered by Polaris Razor. All killer. No filler. Welcome back here to the general tire down entered show powered by Polaris Razor. Yeah I guess last segment I never have a free segment on the show anymore and seems like this week somehow some way we did. So you know what that means. We're going to fan Q. Eh that's right. We're taking some questions. Some built up over the past couple of weeks some. I've been hit up with on twitter some through the contact form on the website some DM's and some of them actually just come directly from our. We've got a facebook group for the show. Jim beavers action motor sports discussion. Actually you guys should definitely Definitely joined that because there's a lot of cool conversation content that gets posted up but I take van questions off of that. So if you have any questions and you want it as we're airing me up at Jim beaver fifteen on twitter and we will get those questions in the show so Yeah I guess probably the Big One right off the top and this happened and its surrounding Steve Torrance. And obviously I posted into the are group. You know the answer on this but somebody wanted to know. What'S THE DEAL Steve Torrance? He missed the opening rounds in Pomona. Will WE SEE HIM IN PHOENIX? What's the deal Stephen IRA very very you know? We're good buddies. He's a very good friend of mine and I think the team put out a press release and I think this is probably truce right. I mean why. Would they put out a press? Release you know with anything less than truce and basically it says there was. People speculating. Steve's health is bad you know Stephen. The past he battled through cancers amazing story came out on top. They were saying something about. I think the team folding they were pissed off at the nature. A A bunch of stuff. So I'm GonNa read directly from the Presley's in the statement by torrens racing and this is from Kay Torrance the owner of the team and basically she goes after week of often. Ridiculous speculation. T- motorcade towards confirmed Monday the One and only reason steve towards racing top fuel torn racing top fuel dragsters or absent from the season opening. Look so internationals. Pomona California was the NHL as lack of urgency and acting upon the teams appeal of sanctions related to an incident evolving involving the two-time mellow yellow champion driver. Steve Torrent so I'm assuming that's relating to you know at the end of last year the shenanigans that went on We've chimed in on that plenty of Times Stephen on the show talked about it. We're not gonNA react news. But I can't confirm Steve Turin's we'LL BE IN PHOENIX. You know why I've talked with a team I'm actually going to be at the. Nhra event in Phoenix. I'm doing an interview with Steve Torrance. I guarantee I will ask this question. But yeah I can one thousand percent guarantee each and every listener right now and by the time we're on Sirius. You already know for fact if you're listening online you're GonNa have to wait a day to confirm it. But Steve turns racing the Capco Boys. In Capco boys they will be in action in Phoenix. And you gotta think you know coming off at another amazing championship year. They immediately. You're going to be one of the teams to beat can add a little bit of a chip on their shoulder and yet they will be in Phoenix and You know what They're one of my. I guess one of my wildcards to take the win. I don't know I I don't even WanNa say wildcard but you know. I think they're one of the favorites along with a handful of other drivers to take victory there in Phoenix. So yeah hopefully that dispels that thank you Lisa in Texas. I'm sure your Big Steve. Towards Fan Four. Four the question. You probably already knew the answer by the time it got to air but yeah was worth throwing in there anyways. Now we've got to SAM IN INDY masuma Indianapolis Indiana. And he wants to know my him. He I'm hoping I know. Some Sam's that are female. I'm assuming the SAM that is a male. I don't know we've got a lot of female listeners. To Sam my apologies but Sam in Indy my predictions on India. It says what are your predictions for this year. So man indycar predictions. This is a wild wild one. I I guess a number one. The top of my list is a good friend of the show Alexander Rossi. Rossi is due a championship. I mean the Damn Dude. He's been as close as you can. If it wouldn't have been arguably for Sato last year he would have taken the championship where he would have been right in the dogfight at the end my early favorite to take the whole damn thing is Alex Rossi anybody betting against Rossi. Yeah I don't know how you can bet against the guy that being said New Garden. Pazmino are always tough. The penske team you know is going to be on point. And they're they're definitely tough to beat and then you can't count out. You can't count out Scott Dixon. I mean this guy. We talked about him earlier in the show. One of the greatest drivers of the past decade probably one of the greatest drivers on the planet today. You can't count on Scott Dixon so obviously those are kind of the big names. Those are the favorites. Those are upfront. Let's get to the story behind the story. I guess guys I would watch out for Conor. Daly this dude as a really really good ride with ED carpenter racing. He's got some backing obviously. He's not doing all the events but he's going to be doing quite a few races this year and I would say conor Daly. We've seen him do some spectacular things in some one off rides the past couple of years I would say. Connor was some stability back in any car. Can't fulltime semi full-time this dude. One to watch hands down absolutely another one to watch. I would say we talked about it earlier in power rankings Hinchcliffe James Hinchcliffe. This guy you WanNa talk about a chip on your shoulder boy. Oh boy does hitch down. Have a chip on his shoulder right now after the way things ended with his previous team. Now he's got some stability there with with Andretti at least for three races. Maybe more you want to talk about a guy who's going to be out to prove something to prove the entire world and his old team wrong. James Hinchcliffe you a hungry driver. The wheel of a top-flight Indycar at Indianapolis Motor speedway for two events. I gotTa Tell Ya Hinch. We're going to see a hinch like we haven't seen before I think the good times. Funny Hinch that I love having on air. Oh he's still there but I think when that helmet hits it is gas on game on. Hinch is going to be the man this year. At those rounds. I think he's going to be up there. He's going to be a top five guy and he's not one that you're gonNA WANNA bet against one You know when the green flag drops hands down for sure I guess really one of the teams. I would say to really watch out for this year. Tooling there with Aj. Foyt voice a legend. He's a motor sports legend. Nobody's going argue that but I think you know they've got obviously on Tony. He's you know he's got a. It's a swansong year but then they bring in. Sebastian board a bored day. You WanNa talk about one of the all time greats Obviously I think his stats and indycar would be one of the all time greats. We didn't go and spend a few years in Formula One but Sebastian Board Day. That guy he's GonNa do some amazing things for four racing. I think he's another to watch out for this year as well. And you know you got you gotTa You. GotTa look at McLaren. Also you know you never know what the heck What is it? Smith Peterson. Mclaren Motor Sports. What they're going to have obviously they've invested in some young guns rumor. Has IT Alonzo? Might become an in for the indy. Five hundred we should have news. I Know Alonzo has to see. We just know where yet so. I'm assuming it's with them now. That hinch sign with Andretti. I don't know that they're an interesting one to watch as well so predictions you make me pick the championship. I'm saying Rossi but that's about as far as I can go right now so I guess we we got a man. We got a lot of questions to get to today next one. This is Mike and Las Vegas. What do you think is going on here? He basically Mike's Question is we've got the two law we get San Felipe Bay. And we've got the mid four hundred all cram within a month of each other You know how do I think that's going to affect the sport of Offroad Wa? I think Mike we're already seeing how it's affecting his sport of Offroad Entries at Laughlin or a little bit light entries at the Mid. Four hundred are a little bit light and I think One SAMPLE EP. Simply because light. But it's too early to tell that still a month out And the other Laughlin you know. We'll we'll see once that rolls around that's a UT event. I think it'll be alright but I think Mitt in this other Laughlin of really kind of pulled injuries from each other. I think it Kinda sucks to be honest with you. Let's just me being me..

"Dot com make sense to me that makes sense to you so there you go we are god's going on in the desert that will start to take center stage again another I don't know I don't for a lot of people's it's the masters but golfer like many other sports these days and such a fractured world that we live in if you like it then you know the schedule if you don't like it then you know the masters the US open British open that's about it PJ brown doesn't sneak in with you or the players any other stuff so you really big depends like by tennis fans may know when the tournaments are but they basically know Wimbledon the US open you know and now that Americans about such little success in tennis is really taking a backseat but now the real spends right I mean we got MMA much more mainstream matter was we've Tennyson boxing way back in the lineup now terms of what people watch golf without tiger is certainly take a hit so and that's why baseball's worried because they want to be more mainstream and more phone proof you know they want people watching the game and not looking at their phones which is a difficult thing to do we've got the Super Bowl props to talk about not that they're overly riveting but let's face it this is a time where if you have a sports topic like we're you know we're talking about the I said the Berman us is pretty quiet you know he goes all bring up the line manning in the hall of fame people love to talk about the whole and I'm like yeah well if I have to but it is it's interesting there too I was talking about the all star game is talking about halls of fame I don't know one thing you lose as you get older is the ability to understand what a twenty two year old thanks to the hall of fame these days I know what I thought about it when I was twenty two and I know what I think about it now it's changed considerably so I think one of the you know we didn't one of the topics that is Annalise's how the information that we get at our fingertips like I read somewhere the other day that there are people that believe that our memories are much worse since we got cell phones in our hands because we don't have to remember anything right because it's all there whatever we forgot we can look up on the phone so as a result of that as a result of not needing to memorize as many things are memories are not as good so one of the things we can always talk about is how to figure out how to stay fresh with the phones in other words how do you keep it interesting enough to keep people away from whatever they want that's in their hand and you know you you're never bored anymore you you wait at the bus stop you wait for the subway you wait in a doctor's office you always have a companion and it has changed the way we do business has changed the way we think but it's also change we we watch sports you know we need to be more well they need to grab your attention more because they're easier to ignore let's put it that way and one of the things you know the fantasy really help the NFL with and now gambling is helping with the other sports is to keep it fresh from that perspective right and I know most of you looking less there's no that's cop roles going over to with Mike and Anna Brian going over to a new venture on gambling and it's because the supply and demand you know it's because that's what people are into now and it's live and it's real and it moves and the changes and one door you know when you're when you're gambling and your and your working on a nice guy and now of course we have in game gambling so that adds to it even more and sconces Mike Scott shows going to be both right it'll be pretty and then it will be in game which is now become a big deal in my whole point bring this up is not just to promote you guys and Scott which is great and I'm happy to do that was also to say sports is competing to stay relevant and moving and active and one of the ways people do it is by gambling not just making a bed in the morning about tonight's game but also involved in the game watching the game and then being able to to back during in about half time props are bad all kinds of other things so I don't know how does the if you talk to Scott about what how you know obviously thinks it's going to be fairly successfully knows partly that it's going to be successful but in terms of trends you ever think two years out for years out six years out about the business you guys are getting into yeah I think that there's a lot of lot of potential I think that you see you look around the country right now and you see another stayed here and then a couple months later another state and then it just keeps no keeps growing to the point where maybe four to five to seven years down the road maybe more than half the country has legalized sports gambling and maybe there's you know it you know betting on your phone which is you know now Nevada New Jersey in a and a couple of other places and it's it's just gonna keep increasing wondered about horses on your everywhere yeah at everything almost everywhere every time there's a some states you can't Stephen ira yeah I believe in New York you can with that in New York you can and I think I think that you can you know you can and Allen twinspires TVG ones buyers yeah you can you can bet on any of them horse racing wise but I I had a place I don't have it anymore but I had a place in South Carolina you couldn't but you couldn't bat in South Carolina on horses so when I was on vacation down there I couldn't use the apps because it was a legal there so it's clearly in and out a lot of places but to me it's just the I don't know we're so immediate now right I mean everything is so immediate we we react at the moment and in order for some of these leads to this stay relevant in a world that it asked for everything now is gambling is come around at the right time how do you feel do you ever did in game gamble I love it you do you like to like love it watch the trailer now I you know it's hard for me at home when you're not when I'm in Vegas with a couple times I've been out there the past years rather be for super bowls etcetera I mean the whole entire time on there I'm on the phone and I'm looking at everything that's happening and that's one of the things that I'm excited about that I'm gonna be in Jersey every exposure there's like games that you're you kinda if ya like you mean when you come in for me when I was coming off the shelves are games last weekend like the full touchdowns brother throw their like as it could be that big of a your beat down so you know with the in game betting you don't have to jump in there before such as that there's like you know what let me see how it goes first are they get in there even a situation like you know the big week before work at the city was getting wet up by Houston and now to not sway double digits also does get bored you right let me jump on that right well I can because you know they're gonna come back right right right right and that to me the point of this discussion is sort of how they how sports stays relevant in today's fast paced on demand world it's an on demand world you watch what you want when you want to you know we used to have to gather at all it's the whatever show what time is it on eight o'clock well everybody has to watch today to call back you know and and now and I know that that's these days all fashion it hasn't been that way for a while because VCRs obviously were there before DVR but let's face it now it's just second nature his name is something you think about I mean that's the difference the difference is in lifestyle just like looking at your phone in between pitches at a baseball game it's not some you even think about anymore you just do it you know you're in a doctor's office you just waiting for your dentist appointment your doctor you just go on your phone you don't think about it when you're at the bus stop on the subway so more tests to come back that sports has to stay interesting enough so that you're not like I I'd be below we're in this deal so we get the movies and stuff for the vote for the SAG awards so parasite is a movie that's hot and been good and but it is a movie with subtitles okay so that means you can't look down you have to watch the movie like you're in a movie theater and I had people tell me I don't do that I can't just look at the you know I got a I can't I just can't look at screen like that concert on one thing like it's impossible to to look at one thing like that so it's just an interesting time we're sports has to compete to stay relevant and and action filled and make you not look away and this this gambling situation is interactive right where you're doing both you're looking at your phone maybe to place your bet bye you're watching the game and the two are inter twined which is fine for the sports they'll take that what they don't want to you looking down why somebody it's a double in the gap because there aren't that many doubles the gap these days so the next thing problem that they have will go over some of these props thank you phone calls eight five five two one two four CBS just getting underway Chris Moore on CBS sports radio.

now and you see another stayed here and then a couple months later another state and then it just keep some you know keeps growing to the point where maybe four to five to seven years down the road maybe more than half the country has legalized sports gambling and maybe there is you know at you know betting on your phone which is you know now Nevada New Jersey in a and a couple of other places and it's it's just gonna keep increasing about horses on your everywhere yeah at everything almost everywhere every man there's some states you can't Stephen ira yeah I believe in New York you can with that in New York you can and I think it I think that you can you know you can and Allen twinspires TVG ones buyers yeah you can you can bet on any of them horse racing wise but I I had a place I don't have it anymore but I had a place in South Carolina you couldn't but you couldn't bat in South Carolina on horses so when I was on vacation down there I couldn't use the apps because it was a legal there so it's clearly in and out a lot of places but to me it's just the I don't know we're so immediate now right I mean everything is so immediate we we react at the moment and in order for some of these leads to this stay relevant in a world that it asked for everything now this gambling is come around at the right time how do you feel do you ever did in game gamble I love it you do you like to like love it watch the trail like it now I you know it's hard for me at home when you're not when I'm in Vegas with the couple times I've been out there the past few years rather be for super bowls etcetera I mean the whole entire time on there I'm on the phone and I'm looking at everything that's happening and that's one of the things that I'm excited about that I'm gonna be in Jersey everyday exposure there's like games that you're kinda iffy on like you mean when you come in for me when I was coming at the same your games last weekend like the full touchdowns brother throw their like as it could be that big of a your beat down so you know with the you gave betting you don't have to jump in there before such good said there's like you know what let me see how it goes first are they get in there even a situation like you know the big week before work at the city was getting wet up by Houston and now do not sway double digits also does get bored you right let me jump on that route that Reagan because you know they're gonna come back right right right right and that to me the point of this discussion is sort of how they how sports days relevant in today's fast paced on demand world it's an on demand world you watch what you want when you want to you know we used to have to gather at all it's the whatever show what time is it on eight o'clock will that everybody has to watch today to call back you know and and now and I know that that's these days all fashion it hasn't been that way for a while because VCRs obviously were there before DVR but let's face it now it's just second nature his name is something you think about I mean that's the difference the difference is in lifestyle just like looking at your phone in between pitches at a baseball game it's not some you even think about anymore you just do it you know you're in a doctor's office you just waiting for your dentist appointment your doctor you just go on your phone you don't think about it when you're at the bus stop on the subway so more tests to combat that sports has to stay interesting enough so that you're not like I I'd be below we're in a SAG deal so we get the movies and stuff for the vote for the SAG awards so parasite is a movie that's hot and been good and but it is a movie with subtitles okay so that means you can't look down you have to watch the movie like you're in a movie theater and I had people tell me I don't do that I can't just look at the you know I got a I guess I just can't look at screen like that that's right on one thing like it's impossible to to look at one thing like that so it's just an interesting time we're sports has to compete to stay relevant and and action filled and make you not look away and this this gambling situation is interactive right where you're doing both you're looking at your phone maybe to place your bat but you're watching the game and the two are inter twined which is fine for the sports don't take that well they don't wanna you looking down why somebody it's a double in the gap because there aren't that many doubles in the gap these days so the next thing problem that they have will go over some of these props thank you for called a five five two one two four CBS just getting underway Chris Moore on CBS sports radio.

"Go on in the desert that will start to take center stage again in another I don't know I asked for a lot of people's it's the masters but golfer like many other sports these days and such a fractured world that we live in if you like it then you know the schedule if you don't like it then you know the masters the US open British open that's about it PJ prosody sneak in with you or the players are any other stuff so you really big depends like by tennis fans may know when the tournaments are but they basically know Wimbledon the US open you know and now that Americans that's a little success in Tennessee has really taken a backseat but such thing out the real spends right I mean we got MMA much more mainstream than it was we've Tennyson boxing way back in the lineup now terms of what people watch golf without tiger is certainly taken a hit so there's ebbs and flows to it and that's why baseball's worried because they want to be more mainstream and more proof you know they want people watching the game and not looking at their phones which is a difficult thing to do we've got the Super Bowl props to talk about not that they're overly riveting but let's face it this is a time where if you have a sports topic like we're you know we're talking about the I said the Berman us is pretty quiet you know he goes all bring up the line manning in the hall of fame people love to talk about the whole and I'm like yeah well if I have to but it is it's interesting there too I was talking about the all star game and talking about halls of fame I don't know one thing you lose as you get older is the ability to understand what a twenty two year old thanks to the hall of fame these days I know what I thought about it when I was twenty two and I know what I think about it now it's changed considerably so I think one of the you know we one of the topics that is Annalise's how the information that we get at our fingertips like I read somewhere the other day that there are people that believe that our memories are much worse since we got cell phones in our hands because we don't have to remember anything right because it's all there whatever we forgot we can look up on the phone so as a result of that as a result of not needing to memorize as many things are memories are not as good so one of the things we can always talk about is how in the figure out how to stay fresh with the phones in other words how do you keep it interesting enough to keep people away from whatever they want that's in their hand and you know you you're never bored anymore you you wait at the bus stop you wait for the subway you wait in a doctor's office you always have a companion and it has changed the way we do business has changed the way we think but also change we we watch sports you know we need to be more well let me to grab your attention more because they're easier to ignore let's put it that way and one of the things you know the fantasy really help the NFL with and now gambling is helping with the other sports is to keep it fresh from that perspective right and I know most of you looking less there's no that's cop roles going over to with my can and the Brian going over to a new venture on gambling and it's because the supply and demand you know it's because that's what people are into now and it's live and it's real and it moves and the changes and one door you know when you're when you're gambling and your and your working on a nice guy and now of course we have in game gambling so that adds to it even more and sconces Mike Scott shows going to be both right it'll be pretty and then it will be in game which is now become a big deal in my whole point bring this up is not just to promote you guys and Scott which is great and I'm happy to do that was also to say sports is competing to stay relevant and moving and active and one of the ways people do it is by gambling not just making a bed in the morning about tonight's game but also involved in the game watching the game and then being able to to bet during in about half time proctor bet all kinds of other things so I don't know how does the if you talk to Scott about what how you know obviously thinks it's going to be fairly successfully knows partly that it's going to be successful but in terms of trends you ever think two years out for years out six years out about the business you guys are getting into yeah I think that there's a lot of lot of potential I think that you see you look around the country right now and you see another state here and then a couple months later "And it's a little bit about why we're doing this so we I have teamed up with we build the wall that you ask and it you know it's just a natural fit Stephen ira consultants for them and you know we're we're tracking it into a family that the end result will be open borders and and we build the wall has shown. you know our politicians look this is what American can do in a very very short amount of time they donated to rebuild the wall and guess what we built the wall guess what we're getting ready to build more yeah. exciting yeah Brian Cole think he's a he's a day you have a guy to some guy so is a he's he's doing a great job I just wish I'm sure you heard Tommy Fisher and it kills me that is guy Tommy Fisher Fisher industries down here in Arizona southern Arizona ease developed a way to build the wall building more quickly much more cheaply. and and he's getting no traction no traction DC because they're trying to stop the wall from going up it's very frustrating and this is the complete security package you know it's not only eighty year steel which you know most of the contractors are using twenty years still it's a paved road it lighting it's underground centers that that little bit within sixty fifth at the wall the game you know walking driving Tommy has put together an incredible product and I heard through the grapevine that a lot of these politicians in and why C. B. P. isn't awarding him some of the contract to these bet on is because it was found out that he had donated a trance two thousand sixteen campaign she's and yeah I mean it's just ridiculous you talked about wasteful government spending this guy can do it for half the cost of both of these other contractors with the far more superior product. but he may have donated a truck so we better not use them yeah it's real and tools it's ridiculous I'm really good Merriam and does is on campus the M. seven ninety so have you had any push back I mean and unfortunately there was a story last week about an angel mom testifying her name just gave me just for a second her son was tragically here holding her right yes and use your ethically killed he was testifying in Massachusetts and they were bowing her as she was testifying about what happened we're son are you facing any backlash for going on this make America safer again tore. we have imia Europe but tonight will be our first speaking engagement so we will see how it does not give you an update in DC over there okay fire okay I'm looking for to get make America safe again toward dot com is the website for Marianne and it's Mary is a mayor Marianne at angel families dot com if people want to get information about all kinds of stats. yes please be safe please be safe and we look forward to seeing you next week okay. all right thank you for having me on Garrett you got it at not not a problem anytime anytime Miriam and does a fantastic American right there I mean just just just putting it all out to try to do the best for the country make America safe again toward dot com is the website will continue Daniel McCarthy is coming up at eight OO five. he's taken on Martha make silence much more happening much more about these New York times reporters. saying that we we actually had the information correct and easy the editors the editors the time took took it all out wait till you hear this it's coming up on campus day morning ritual with Gary Lewis son lighting I guy you listen I had a son lighting they help reduce the lighting in my kitchen in my living room in my bedroom now pressed in its own lighting has helped with the lighting in in all of our bathrooms three bathrooms and I'm telling you if you want to get new lighting for your home you want to get top of the line stuff you want to get the best of the best of the best advice you need to go to some lighting Broadway near swan also go to some lighting dot com a go in there my wife we measured out everything our bathrooms and and she had this idea about putting up these special kind outdoorsy type lights in the bathroom but we need other impressed in days like listen those gonna be good to get a great channels in your face we need to have is recessed cans here here here and here he mapped out and then it gets bad reason you think weapon pendants down over the sinks and have a recess can't hear things we didn't think of he had the solutions for the map it all out he recommended a are a contractor slash electricity could do it all the contractor went to somebody picked up everything a person or do we have to get it showed up at the house did all the insulation Paul wires phenomenal job from start to finish all because some lighting with their great service our I mean great ideas as well that's what you get their certified lighting specialists and some lighting I indoor our our outdoor they can make your home great again make it light again N. and I hate saying this because president I'm friends with him and he give them compliments. the guy knows what he's doing and when they're the contractor to putting in the the recess cancer like you don't pressing got like top of the line selling these lights are incredible like at other places use Chinese hunks of junk prestin is all about makes you get the high quality lights they are phenomenal so we did it for us you could do it for you in time for the holidays go to some lighting dot com. people think Frostburg state university is a small sleepy institution and that's anything but the truth it's a vibrant community is growing what else you don't know about Frostburg state university is how wonderful the students are there great opportunities to get involved to do things that matter and they do just that students get to apply their learning outside the classroom from day one prospered state university one university a world of experiences. classic rock because this fall starting with test on September eighteenth. warming hits like modern day cowboys love song in the way it.

"To the firefighter community as well. And that's where we pick up the story with Tim again and Tim, how did you find this book? And where do we go from there? Well, what happens is the my friend, Steve Elliot, and I Steve's a former marine. We would trade books back and forth. I read a book, I'd give it to him, he'd readable. So under he came and gave me this book and he says, you should read this book Clinton side, note proof that marines read. There weren't. We can exist. So Steve gives me the book brothers forever, and I was actually reading it. I was jogging on the treadmill at the gym as I'm reading the book. And one of the things that Colonel Manion had done in the book was he actually talked about travis's visit prior to a second deployment to rescue one. And in the book talks about that a former marine. Gave him the tour and you know the story as it goes as I'm Rena I nearly fell off the treadmill because I go. I remember that night. I was barking yeah. You know they're talking about me. So I call Steve and I said, I'm in the book. He goes, what are you talking about? You're not. In that I said, remember the part where talking about the former, he goes only got it. Is you. And I told my wife and she's like, I remember you telling me about two marines visiting you at the firehouse. So what ends up. I read the book and I was to find out that you know Travis, Brandon had. Had been killed, and I was like, holy, I met this guy. Yeah. So at the back of the book, it says for more information, visit the Travis Manion foundation website. I go on the website and I kind of expecting. I hear about all these different foundations and you think it's, you know, they have a golf outing every year they give thousand bucks to some college kid going off to college, and that's pretty much a lot of these foundations. But then when I realized what this foundation had become very, very impressed with what they had done in about not quite ten years. And what I did was I had contact us. I sent them an Email and I said, you know, to concern, my name is Tim Sullivan on the former marine that was working when Travis came to visit rescue one. And I said, I'm not some nut job. I really am the guy and I, what I do is I talked about remember what I remember Travis, but I talked about what I remembered of the friend that was with him. And I said, you know, I remember this guy. He was a helicopter pilot and to kind of prove myself crazy loon trying to give them a hard time. Right? And I said, look, I just want to express my condolences. I did not know until just now in early twenty fifteen that Travis had been killed. I'm express my condolences. So about a month goes by and I don't hear anything. So I kind of figured off into the nother world and then Colonel Manion received Email back from Colonel Manion. And he says, dear tame, we've always wondered who you are. You know, it'd be great. I'd love to sit down with you and have a beer someday. And my reaction was, well, I like beer. Reaction. I'd love to sit down and have a beer with you also. And then we look into it and it turns out there's a there is a golf outing every year for the foundation, it's around the anniversary of travis's death of usually the last Monday in April or so and Steve Elliot, and I decide we're going to, we'll go down and we'll play golfing will donate to the cause. And when we went down to the Gulf outing, we decided we were going to pay our respects from not just from us, but also from the fire department. Stephen IRA both members of the VFW post. So we came down and we actually the the fire helmet that you see there..

"Finks. So to answer Heidi's question, have you ever had to smash window? No, I haven't that AAA since before even had a car. Dad always made sure I had AAA. So yes, I've locked my keys in my car because I'm Mike Nolan daughter, and that is lands very well with my family. Mike Nolan has put his keys down in the trunk enclosed, the trunk. He's locked his keys in the car with the car on he has. Multiple times driven away with his iced coffee on the roof, like these are just constant things for our family. And so the thought of somebody never locking their keys in the car is hilarious to me. But the two times it's happened to me. I'd just called AAA and they came in, let me into MacArthur. No, I've never. I don't think I could smash window. I'd be that person that was like, all right. Here we go and went to smash it and just like broke my hand instead, I don't think I'd be able to do it. You ever smashed your when I haven't, but someone smashed it for me, which was great on like you ask them to. It was like, no, someone broke into my car by my window. Yeah, it's kind of a bummer. What they take. I had this is so random. I had NASCAR jerseys. Yeah, my, we have good friends of the family that are very involved in NASCAR, and so they gave me jerseys and they were. They don't wear jersey. It was. It's very confusing because it wasn't a fire suit. No, it was like a. It looks like a football jersey, but it was for like Ness. Yeah, so I had them in my car, but I guess kind of looked like football jerseys, the way they were folded and I think they broke into my car to take them. Oh my God, you trolled them so hard. 'cause they left with a bunch of NASCAR jerseys. Don't even exist, but they took a bunch of my other stuff too, which was a pain, like what? Like notebooks and like, why even want that? Yeah, that it was. It was a real bummer. Like they took a journal and bears. That's creepy. Yeah, I don't like that. It wasn't great, but the good news is. Heidi has an older sister who wants to know where we wanna lay in the world. So I can't tell what her name is. I feel really bad, but the we were talking about transcriptions jurisdiction says her name is Sumi, so we're gonna call her sue me. She wants to know if there was anywhere in the world we live, where would you live? She would live by the way in Lake Tahoe. Makes me wonder. Are they from there? Did they go there? Why did she does? She is like the way it sounds probably vacation. I don't know. I think it's funny if she just like I've about, no, I'm either bet. It's beautiful. I bet it is good for you for recognizing beauty. It's at young age Sumi. I don't know. I would. Poachers in New Jersey. I would right now would be New Jersey because that's where my best friend Liu. So excited that like my house is near your house right now for the next few months. So excited that you have not come to visit. You just got two days ago. I thought you were going to be there the day. I moved didn't invite me. You texted me that you were right next to my apartment. And I was like, what is she doing? No, for sure did. And then we didn't aria out with you invited me to. Yeah. Okay. That's fair. But I was out, no, that's also then you that you are near my apartment. And then I was like, oh, she going to say like come over or. Oh, actually my actual vote was, is she gonna want to come over and I started furiously cleaning my house. Get all these clothes. I have one room where I can just shove everything and close the door. Shoved everything I own there to be like Stephen IRA, Aaron, we're gonna come over. And then you just never said anything again, and I was like, we're good. So if you wanna come over, my is quote unquote cleans nice. Great. Awesome. Probably the Italian countryside though, for honest. Okay. That's it. For this week's that issue of sports shout out to our sponsor, seek a Miller lite. Obviously, big thanks to you guys for listening right now..

"Again of buying and using these productivity tools that are widely available at nobody is using so that is a great resource and i'm going to go look at it because one of the things that we tell our clients in our in our lucia porsche program is a liked to joke that the the most productive day that you have is the day before you go on vacation and what you said about every day a being finals a really resonated with me because i know that true for me i've also stephen a talked many times stephen ira both you know centrally selfemployed rate and so when i became selfemployed sixteen years ago now i found that my relationship with my job changed significantly in that i was really looking almost exclusively at what i produce the knighted how much time it took me to produce it yet and this is this is a critical point here because when we started this experiment my hypothesis was that the average american worker knowledge worker is really doing two to three hours of work on let their spending eight to ten hours a day in the office okay so here's the part that i disagree with at least for me and and it this is a very narrow rome of experience it's my own experience but you know you say none of us can really focus intensely on mentally intensive work for eight hours a day i feel like i pretty much do that i mean it's not you know eight hours nonstop take a little break here and there but i would say that i eat in in terms of of cognitive mentally intensive work i i think i easily put in six or seven day i can't do that maybe i'm just national makes a good point to the spectrum of people and even myself and you know my business partner cuban he works over fifteen hours a day he keep that concentration that he's a billionaire by that's not your ever every day average american and we're trying to force everybody to feed like that when of people have different strengths in out so perhaps think you can do it you know i think i actually can i just like working either i i don't want to maybe that's worth the la i mean i i read a lot and i don't consider.
