The Real Story of Jan. 6th Is What the Government Does to Innocent People

"Well isn't that the story of what I mean honestly Nick this has been the story since Maybe since Trump took first took office but especially since all this COVID madness has hit and that transition of power this has been the story What they're telling us in the media in the left wing media is happening does not match up with what's happening before our very eyes You're right there You didn't see some violent revolution that was going to overthrow the United States government I don't even know how they thought that was going to happen What guy with horns sits in Nancy Pelosi's share and then what Fill in the blanks They are telling a completely different story Yeah like I said most of the people there that I saw were my age or older and what were we armed with like blood pressure medicine and Holy Grail in our sleep apnea machines If you're going to overthrow the government you need some young people okay Maybe a military would help too Maybe But as we start piecing together you know talking to people that were there what we really discovered as we went wrong was that the real story here is what the government is doing to innocent people who really went there and did nothing else Families that have had their doors broken down by the FBI And you know this man that they came after never been arrested for anything Alex and his wife and they treat these people like Pablo Escobar or serial killers or something S.W.A.T. teams humbert vehicles going down a little neighborhood For the streets I mean it's a pulling but the government is doing And the reason they're doing it is to have a chilling effect They're trying to terrorize and demonize Americans who disagree with the leftist agenda and make sure that everybody understands This is what's going to happen to you if you stand up

FBI Raid on James O'Keefe's Home Sparks Many Questions

"Project veritas is probably the greatest thorn in the side of the American ruling class. To give an idea James O'Keefe has successfully exposed the VAERS database, Health and Human Services, Pfizer, the vaccination of children, critical race theory, woke ism in the military, Hasbro, which is making toys for children and how that they are implementing critical race theory within the manufacturing of toys for children. James O'Keefe has fought every major fight imaginable. And yet he's he's upset some people along the way. James O'Keeffe has made the biggest enemies you could possibly make, including Joe Biden. James O'Keeffe seems to be hitting home run after home run, and we have him on our show to celebrate those victories because many people in the activist press and even many people in the establishment right. They aren't so keen to actually celebrating the great work of project veritas, a legitimate journalist organization. And so therefore, because of all the enemies that James has made, he has been targeted and listed for destruction. And make no mistake, this is the way it works. Joe Biden and the regime, they have had James O'Keefe's name on a piece of paper and circled for quite some time. They want him gone. They want him done. And now, so thankfully James O'Keefe is rather smart and he's careful he is not reckless. He knows the fights that he's been picking. He knows the people he's been exposing. And so James O'Keefe came across and was exposed to this diary of Ashley Biden, which we were told was fake at the time, which obviously it isn't. It's not fake. It's probably very real, real enough that you're trying to mobilize the entire apparatus of the United States government to try to of the law enforcement government to try to prevent either publication or the dissemination of such product.

"Maybe it's me but I feel like in the last with the some of the state governors in the last two years and now with this Biden administration the last ten months There's been a lot of totalitarianism introduced into this republic Do you agree with me Yes Yes And it's a particularly nasty form of it because it purports to be looking out for you It's stepping into this parent patriot role It's like trying to save everyone It doesn't have the ability to do that but what purporting to be this Loving figure It's actually ruling with an iron fist and people starting to get a glimpse of that And it's why I can't emphasize enough that as we approach the December 3rd funding deadline for the federal government I want to make sure that look let's run the other stuff whatever other stuff Congress wants to fund but let's not fund osha and let's not front any part of government without a caveat that they can't use these funds to fund the vaccine mandate enforcement because it's

Officials Urge Killing of Invasive Spotted Lanternfly

"If you live on the east coast of the us especially in new york or pennsylvania and see a visually striking spotted lantern fly. The state governments would like you to forget any humane ideas about carefully moving it from one spot to another and instead to immediately kill it the spotted lantern fly is an invasive pest that is not native to the us and apparently is threatening to over seventy of the plant species that feeds on feeds on meaning draining sap and leaving them weakened and vulnerable to disease among those species. Is the atlantis autism or tree of heaven which the new york times points out is best known as the tree from betty. Smith's nineteen forty-three novel. A tree grows in brooklyn but this pernicious beast who has delicate grey wings spotted in black with a bonus set of bright red wings also spotted with black underneath. I arrived in the us from asia seven years ago and entered new york city last year. During the pandemic environmentalists ecologists are encouraging people to kill the bugs site because they have no natural predators here and no organic pesticides that can take them out here. New york the department of agriculture is additionally asking people to submit the location where you found the lantern fly on their website in pennsylvania. If you're caught moving the insect from one location to another you could be fined. Abort from the destruction these little lantern flies could cause on native species. Governments are being so intense because they know that the lantern flies are quite striking. They're not the kind of bug most people would want to kill. Unlike some other invasive species like the asian longhorn beetle that caused a massive deforestation throughout new york in the late nineties. According to the new york times

California Has Become Ungovernable Under Democrats

"The reason you have these horrific wildfires. Is again because of the failure of the state government to control your forests. They'll call it climate change because they blame other people for their own failures. And I could go on and on and on California, starting to depopulate. That is the productive people in California, starting to leave. While the state is overrun with aliens. Look at your major cities in California. Los Angeles is ungovernable now. San Francisco was the most beautiful city I thought in the country. Now. Most people don't even want to live there, let alone go there. And they're not the only ones. Most of the other major cities are facing the same thing. And the way the virus was handled. To let them eat Cake administration. While Newsom and his family were living one way everybody else was expected to live another way. If you wanted to go to a Store that sells booze, It would be open. If you wanted to go to church. It would be closed. If you wanted to write in the streets and burn things down and attack cops, you were treated one way very liberally. On the other hand, if you were religious, and you wanted to go to church or synagogue You were treated another way with the iron fist. California is a state not in decline. It's already declined. It's in a state of extremists. It's schools don't work, law enforcement is undermined. The cities are

"Newsome. Now who's news? Newsom violated the Constitution was busy shutting down churches, the Supreme Court more than once, twice, maybe even three times had intervened in time to cut it out. He's bankrupt estate. He lived a free life with his family with his kids while he was imposing draconian shutdowns and rules and the rest of the citizenry. Spending is out of control taxes out of control. Not enough water, not enough electricity. Wildfires like we've never seen in California before, not because of climate change, but because of Newsome change. And yet there is a built in Democrat fusion. With government, state government and federal government. And so the teachers union is a perfect example. They don't care about any of that stuff. It is in their personal best interests. Graham made power perspective any monetary perspective. For Newsome to win. They want to control the schools. They want to control the budgets. They want to control their pensions, their medical care their salaries. They don't want to be held to account. They want tenure broadly and early as possible. Tom Newsom is the guy. The environmental groups. They like the confiscatory taxes on the private sector. They don't care how many I believe the state That leaves more for them. They're all in. The mess of welfare state. "For the time this redistricting process is underway. The new york state senate has some of the worst gerrymandered districts Anywhere as you. Well know yet. There's a independent body. That that's crafting maps we've been covering this very closely got Of course but i'm wondering if you as a as a senate leader and having been through what you've been through seeing gerrymandering trying to keep you out of power. Are you looking at this. As an opportunity for the senate to secure and strengthen its democratic majority how are you thinking about the redistricting process. that's underway ker. And when i first ran for senate in two thousand four there was sixty two senators iran against the republican incumbent and the district that i ran for the thirty. Fifth district was a rectangle. It made sense now. Especially after the last redistricting effort that the republicans were able to do after the twenty ten election. My thirty fifth senate district lit is these smiling profile of an old man with the scraggly beard. I named him. Oscar white rock green. I share with senator shelley mayer of most of westchester. But we have three cities between us and it's become kind of laughable. What's happened. They also added a a seat again. There are now sixty three senators. So obviously you know. People have played lots of games and lots of things in order to keep power. Frankly we don't believe we need to do that again. I think if we do the right thing in the right way the right thing will happen with all of those machinations. I have a super majority of forty three members. I have no reason to think that if we just did the right thing in the right way Because of the that new york being new york because we are good at governing and because we have a statewide approach we will continue to grow our majority. So that's my prediction and we will be able to do it in a way. That is respectful of our voters. "And to the extent we can legislate we do and again. We do a lot of work with the assembly. Clearly we've been able to pass more bills together on a variety of things over the past few years the mean usually between eight hundred thousand bills that we agree on. So it's not like we're not talking and we're not on the same page for a lot of things but this has always been our priority. And i think we've made a clinton continues to be especially since in so many ways. The ethics of of people in government is being questioned the challenge. We're on our last few minutes here on max politics with a state senate majority leader under stewart cousins. Thanks so much again for taking the time here. I'm just a couple more questions There's so many so many issues. I wanted to ask you about the. We'll we'll talk to you more down the lineup back. I'm glad you also just gave us speaker. Hastier reminder to come on the show in may because will will be extending that invitation again to him So be one other thing. I wanted to ask you about under that umbrella. That i just mentioned was. There's there's a number of bills related to gender based violence harassment workplace issues. There's many but one specifically is extending the the human rights law to all of the staff of elected and appointed officials and making sure that all all are covered by that law. Is that something. That's on your radar. Is that something. That's on your agenda. Had the scandals that have occurred You know put that bill which in chambre believe as senator Higher on your on your to do list at all have been any discussions around that you know Instead there's always discussions about making sure that the human rights laws and the protections wherever they way with sexual harassment toxic workplaces. That there's always the conversation about how to make sure that people are respected in the workplace and protected in the workplace. Exactly what to do and where to go so they feel that this is not happening for them and so i can assure you that we will continue to look at that any other Appropriate legislation that continues to underscore that we value people's work we value workplace that allows for you to do your best work and when you do your best work and when you were regardless of a of who you are you will be protected so yes there will be continued conversations on that and we're obviously talking just after as you mentioned very early in this conversation the devastation from hurricane ida that new york There's there's been talk for either of course about next steps on climate policy resiliency questions about following up the Landmark climate leadership and community protection. Act of twenty nineteen Is the state senate planning anything. There's obviously bills ready exists. But but anything that you can tell us about..

"And so i am looking at the the j. cole and and whether or not it should remain and and you know how how it agency quote unquote like or how a body like. That should really work in. Serve the public in the best possible way. Is i on our list of priorities. So yes sir. That has has really continued to be something that we are focused on. And i think you're going to see changes. I mean you've already seen changes in terms of j. cole roof alarm and and you know member appointments. And we're we're we're really really very very much interested in making sure that people trust government man. I believe our behavior around these issues will make a difference and as the result of these these other investigations. As you said. There's the book deal there. The the bridge deal is the priorities in terms of testing. There's all these other things that are out there now. Of course the attorney general is looking into his still other jay talking so we will continue to monitor these findings. And to the extent that legislatively we can put forward some solutions and some safeguards and and and guardrails. We will continue to do that. I think people have come to to find the senate. Is that body that that does it and we do earrings along the way right you. Just a hearing jacob the joint commission on public ethics that you mention and what you just said actually ties into my next question on the subject which is state senate majority did pass. Major jacob performs this past session. The assembly did not. There was no Legislative you know agreement on that and then there was obviously no three way agreement with the executive branch. What are you know. And this seems to be a pattern where the state senate is a little ahead or a a lot of head of the assembly on on ethics and other reform issues. How do you get the assembly You know sort of up to speed more on on some of these issues. Well you know. I mean i have enough to get the Work that we have to get done done. I believe that the speaker is You know working with the assembly in order to get what what they feel our priorities. I really suspect band that you be having this conversation with the speaker you can so that if you wanted an answer to that question you would be able to get that but for me again. We were well together Our our senate even when we were in the minority remember have always certain things that we that really is our brand and these kind of transparency issues the ethics reform me when you talk about hearings and sexual harassment. I mean when we looked at the fact that nobody even done any earrings like learning decades. Mean that's what we do so we're very very proud of our brand and and we're proud of the fact that we don't say one thing and do something else because that's of a brand as well that we we say we mean we mean what we say..

"A time that you in your district listening to your constituents going to events responding to their emergencies on the ground where you continue to have hearings and by the way our senate majority has had more hearings in the time that we have been in are probably The previous senate majority had in its history. I mean we are well over on your hearings. we're having hearings continually on the things that are most important to new yorker. It's all over the state. So i don't think anyone should think that because we are not in albany. We're not working. And i do believe it's important. That we do have a protracted amount of time in our district in order to really be connected to the people that we are representing any issue with governor. Hoke not getting to have senate confirmation of of the nominations that she needs for you know for her administration and you know certain boards in such to move forward until january. She's going to be putting some names forward of course She's already announced to. She'll be nominating for the department of financial services. There had been some some criticism on the left foot about her nominee there but Any issue in your mind about about that lag on the confirmation process for certain appointees lets you see. We were able to move to confirm the the nominations to the cannabis control board. We knew how important that was because we waited a long time. The previous governor had an opportunity to make those nominations did not make them and this is a brand new industry that really requires the positioning of the leadership so that we could get the industry underway so as you can see we were able to to make those confirmations and get it done for the remaining Appointments that she will we have. I think she herself said that. She wanted about a forty five day period because she wanted to assess the talent that is currently in place. She's got to figure out whether or not the the way things are running are are running the way she would have them ron. She's gotta figure out who she would want in these positions so she herself is. I'm i'm very clear about needing an appropriate amount of time in order to make these assessments in the intervening days weeks months. Go she has the ability to make people acting they can act in many cases were months at a time and we certainly will be able to Pick up the nominations when we come back. But i think for her. It gives her an opportunity to take a look at at what she needs. Who has Make sure she's fielding of the appropriate candidates for the appropriate jobs. Have nothing lost. I said in the case of marijuana because of the whole new industry all new department. It's not like all these other agencies and frankly have been running and and will continue to run while the leadership is being assembled right right..

"The best state never in the nation and will mostly look forward here of course but in terms of any reflections. You've had about Governor cuomo leaving office his tenure at obviously coincided with you being the minority leader and then becoming the majority leader there were very tense relationships between governor cuomo and members of the legislature. It wasn't always that easy to get a real feel for your relationship with him. I mean i think that's impart due to how you carry yourself and try to not let any personal issues bleed into the public policy realm but have you had any reflections on how he approached. You treated you treated your your ascension to becoming majority leader now ben. I am really appreciative. Of the fact that you know how i carry myself because i always been very clear i am the first woman leader in the history of the state. I did not take that for granted. I feel you know a made in responsibility for doing and giving of my all to this job. And as i said i don't mind being the i i certainly don't want to be the last and so very very clear that this is the humbling position and i am happy to have it and i have an amazing amazing a senate of majority now but even when we were in the minority and amazing group of people who really understand public service. So i don't have a lot of reflections on how this journey went. I am happy that at least that part of it is is over. But i always considered my you working within the framework that i was working in a exercise in character-building. Shall we say that every every time there was an interaction. You have to be extremely clear on what you wanted to accomplish who you were dealing with. And what was most important so we really wasn't exercise a character building in and it's good. It's always good to build character especially when you are charged with something as important as is helping to run the state in terms of of running state. What are the either things that have already happened in terms of changes in terms of how the executive branch and the legislative branch are working together or interacting. Are there things that have already shifted under governor local that that new yorkers should know about. That are encouraging. Are there any hiccups that concern knew. How is the transition gone or their positive signs concerns as you mentioned. It's just been a couple of weeks but you know government has had to continue functioning as you also said and there's been emergencies to deal with though you know what should new yorkers know about how the transition is gone especially of that relationship between the executive and legislative branches. It's always easier when everybody sees the same reality. I think we're looking at a national level where it seems that some people are living in one world and other people living in other worlds very hard. When you're not inhabiting the same realities to get things done. It is good to have a governor a speaker. we're all on the same planet. We're all rolling in the same direction. I think the response to the eviction moratorium was extending the eviction. Moratorium is really emblematic of how important that it's been clearly. We had a a moratorium that was set to expire on august..

Big Techs Taliban Problem

"Last time the taliban controlled afghanistan. The world of technology looked pretty different. The internet was still in its relative infancy. The hottest tech products were things like my space in aol. Instant messenger and companies like facebook and twitter didn't even exist. Let alone were there. Presidents and prime ministers using social media to govern entire countries. But today it's really common for all kinds of world leaders to be on those platforms and now the taliban is back in power. Social media companies have a decision to make do facebook twitter and youtube ban the taliban because of its controversial past or do they let them run their self proclaimed more peaceful new government at the risk of legitimizing historically oppressive group joining us. Today to help explain. Vox foreign and national security. Reporter jen kirby. Hey jen hey shane. how're you doing. Good things so jen. Can you give us a rundown of what's been happening and afghanistan the last two weeks. Yeah so in some respects. This kind of starts a little bit earlier. Which is the fact that the united states had planned to withdraw from afghanistan and they set the deadline to be august thirty first and so in the past few weeks. They've been packing up and pulling out troops in preparing to leave but as that was happening the taliban was going on basically this route of afghanistan. They were taking over provincial. Capitals and all this is happening really really really fast much faster than the united states government at least said publicly and so two weeks ago. The taliban reached kabul the capital of afghanistan. Where the government is located and the afghan government claps. The president ashraf ghani fled and so essentially. The taliban became the new people in charge of afghanistan. And since that happened. It's been a chaotic and desperate rush to evacuate United states citizens and our afghan allies. Who helped us in the twenty year war in afghanistan. so it's been a mad rush mostly around the kaaba airport to get people out before this rapidly approaching august thirty first deadline

Biden Responds to Kabul Airport Attack

"Short time ago. The president of the united states came out and spoke about the horrific bombing which happened today in kabul. We don't know of course the exact death toll at the moment. But it seems like they're already thirteen American servicemen killed and the president's speech. I thought was one of the more bizarre speeches. I've ever seen by a president and i'm saying this in the year. Twenty twenty one so i want to get quick reaction. I'm assuming everyone had the opportunity to review the president's ben. he's not since he is not capable. He is not competent. He came out. He looked like a mental patient. I mean he really did he he. He looked like he was barely awake. He stumbled his way through a bizarre seven or eight minutes speech. That contract itself about seven different times. He tried to rely very heavily on the. I'm empathetic joe. Routine the but the minute. That questions began all that went out the window. And he became combative joe He had nothing of merit to say. Yes no defense for his policies because this policy garbage and most of all if you're an american enemy watching the president of the united states on the same day that thirteen american soldiers are killed twelve marines. And you're watching. As the united states turns tail and runs leaving a thousand plus american citizens behind in kabul plus an unspecified number of thousands of american green card holders plus hundreds of thousands of people who will immediately be slaughtered by the taliban and as it turns out the united states government handed a list to the taliban of all the people we wanted to evacuate in the know precisely who to kill five just in kabul. They're americans all throughout the country. Weren't even talking. Yeah that's right if you're watching this as an enemy of the united states and then you watch this adult old feeble minded man walk out and barely make it through sentence. You're thinking you're like homer simpson with a hamburger right now. I'm bin laden said in ninety eight ninety nine after bombing kenya and tanzania the embassies there and after the mild response from a clinton administration said america's paper tiger. I don't know how if you're an enemy of the united states watching what has happened over the course of the last month. You can't look at the united states and say that is a nation. "Breaking news the washington post this morning as director william burns met with the The senior leader of the taliban yesterday in kabul william burns went over. There secretly held the meeting face to face with abdul. Ghani bara dr It's the highest face to face encounter between the taliban in the bite administration boras also man who met with Titrate state mike pompeo last year. I'm joined by byron. York of the washington examiner byron does that maybe give us the clues to why the administration is being so secretive as to what is going on and the timeline in kabul hallel byron. You might be on go ahead. you're on now okay. It could but it underscores the perhaps the ugliest fact of this entire affair which is that. The united states is dependent on the good graces of the taliban. It sounds insane to say that but we are dependent on the good graces of the taliban to get americans out american citizens american Not forces and those Afghans who aided the american military effort. So the the fact that you know. We're having meetings with the taliban. In which in this case i think has to be done. Underscores the dependence position that the president has put us in here now bar. Dr of course does not control al qaeda or isis or any of the other splinter groups. That are there. It is unclear to me whether or not we actually have operational security guarantees from the taliban. But the thing that i'm certain about we don't know how many americans are there and i doubt that the united states government does but do you think they have at least a minimum number. They might release to us byron. Well i was relieved to find out yesterday that there are not stranded not stranded because the white house told me that But i think it's an well. Let's say this if the if the us government knows how many americans are there and he's not saying I don't know the explanation for that. But i'm taking them at their word that they literally do not know how many americans are in afghanistan

Biden Admin Likely to Blame Stranded Americans in Afghanistan for 'Not Registering'

"Me? The United States government can't figure out NGOs, contractors, military people, and who knows? Maybe there are visitors. I'm sure it's not that many, but you can't tell me and give a rough number Who's left behind. You can't reach out and do it. That doesn't sound right to me. Why are they doing that? Most of you already figured it out. This gives me uh No pleasure. Obviously in telling you this nothing but pain. They're preparing to blame these Americans when they leave them behind in August, 31st I hope and pray this isn't true. I desperately hope that the public outcry From this calling your congressman calling your senators what? Whatever it may be whatever you can do to get involved and have your voice heard right now stops them from doing this. But I've heard from multiple credible people well aware of what's going on with Intimate familiarity. Geopolitics. All of this nonsense going on right now that they are preparing to leave these people behind. And the blame game is going to be well. They didn't register. They didn't non register so Sorry by bad.

How Chaos In Afghanistan Emboldened Terrorism - burst 1

"Chaos in afghanistan upton as president biden withdrew military forces leading to a forceful takeover by the taliban today august seventeenth. We will dive into one of the greatest foreign policy. The buckles in modern history. Good afternoon. i'm meeting. Kim and this is the outspoken oma quote. Joe biden has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy national security issue over the past four decades and quote. Who said that not trump not a partisan congressmen or republican operative. That was robert gates. The former secretary of defense under president obama for three years and today as we see significant foreign policy the buckle unfolds in afghanistan that quote is once again reaffirmed now quickly dive into some basic background information as to what is transpiring in afghanistan back in mid april president biden announced immediate withdrawal all american troops from afghanistan by september eleventh. Twenty twenty one. Obviously september eleven was chosen dates because that was to recognize the anniversary of the september eleventh terrorist attacks and which led to the immediate was occupation of afghanistan because at the time afghanistan was harboring osama bin laden on august fifteenth. The taliban took over the capital of kabul effectively toppling. Afghanistan's governments later afghan. President ghani fled the country right before taliban leadership storm the presidential palace and thousands of afghan citizens fled to kabul international airport to skip the taliban. Now while oldest was transpiring. President biden was in camp david and he was strong criticized because he didn't have a strong message or strong immediate message in response to all of this so he traveled back to washington. Dc to address the nation from the white house one of the biggest elements that he was criticized for in the speech was the blame game in which he played and one of the obviously notable people in which she blames forwarded the buckle in afghanistan was trump and sort of implied some blame to bush and obama. He said quote when i came into office. I inherited deal that president trump negotiated with taliban on the his agreement. Us forces would be out of afghanistan. May i twenty twenty one. Just a little over three months after i took office. Us forces had already drawn down during trump administration from roughly fifteen thousand five hundred american force to two thousand five hundred troops in country. The taliban was strongest militarily. Since two dozen one the choice i had to make as your president was added to follow through on that agreement or be prepared to go back to fighting the taliban in the middle of the spring fighting season and quote. And but if you actually look at the deal that trump's state department may with taliban it's not what biden actually described in his address at a nation. Mike pompeo who was secretary of state under president trump said in a recent interview that the deal of the taliban was strictly conditional which meant that deal was was strictly predicated on the taliban committing to a peaceful transfer of power in order for america to withdraw after that commitment to a peaceful transfer of power appel said in a recent interview quote we would have demanded the taliban actually deliver on the conditions that we let out in the agreement including the agreement to engage in meaningful power sharing agreement some that which we struggled to get them to do but made it clear it was going to be required before we completed requirements to fulfil foley withdrawal and unquote. And you know there are some criticisms of the deal. Mike pompeo made with the taliban. Obviously the taliban actually pursuing a peaceful transfer of power from the afghan government was not going to happen. I mean we actually thought. That was being overly idealistic. So people had that criticism upon pales deal but even if biden did not agree with the policy that trump's state departments made in efforts to come to some sort of consensus with the taliban he kind of reversed it. I mean he was president for seven months. Which meant that. He'd independence day department and independence defense department and he could have used his powers as the chief executive to to reverse a deal that the previous administration made i mean for his entire time as president of the united states reversed nearly every single policy. That trump did while he was president. So this is no exception. I mean he should own up to the flaws of the policies in which he tried to pursue in addition to to trump he also blamed the afghan military. He said quote. The truth is but this did on for the more quickly than we had anticipated. So what happened. Afghanistan political leader escape up and fled the country the afghan military collapse. Sometimes we're not trying to fight if anything developments at the past week reinforced the ending. Us military involvement in afghanistan. No was the right decision. American troops cannot ensure not be fighting a war and dying in award. Afghan forces are not willing to fight for themselves and quotes. This is honestly one of the most politically cynical things that i've ever heard biden say the afghan forces are not willing to fight for themselves. Fifty thousand afghan military soldiers died in darndest entire two decades of us occupation of afghanistan. And the reason why they cannot successively defend themselves against the taliban was because biden himself pulled out a contractors and basically destroyed the afghans dependency on us military which are obviously undermined the ability of afghan military to counter act opposing taliban forces. According to the wall street journal quote in the wake of president biden's withdrawal decision the us pulled its airports air support intelligence and contractors servicing afghanistan planes and helicopters. This meant that afghan military simply cannot operate anymore and quote. Admittedly afghan leadership was significantly underprepared in the wake of the draw because as by afghan officials did not believe america will draw however according to andrew watkins a senior analyst for afghanistan and at the international prizes group research advocacy organization. There was no evidence that the taliban significantly increased their manpower and argue. The only reason why there's summer offensive was successful was due to a lack of us. Air strikes which meant that biden's administration shorter significant blame for the dismantling of the afghan government. What biden actually expect to happen when he pulled the entire the tire. Us presence from afghanistan if the afghan military dependent so much on the us occupation of afghan for the viability of their own independent military force. Then of course when they pulled out of afghanistan. The afghan military by itself was not sufficient enough to defend against the taliban if you're pulling out intelligence contracts that were vital for the dependency of the afghan military than have military is expected to fall when the taliban was advancing to the nation's capital and one of the other things that addition to buy actually blaming everyone except for himself for the marco afghanistan biden also discussed casualties in the in the afghan occupation. He said quote. Lemme ask those who wanted to wanted us to stay. How many more how. Many thousands more of american daughters and sons are willing to risk and quotes according to abc news. There's not been a single american combat death since february eighth twenty which was eighteen months ago. That's not to belittle the two thousand three hundred twelve american soldiers that lost life in afghanistan. But it is the suggests that thousands of stationed american soldiers in the lead up to the afghanistan pull out were not being bogged down by precipitous warfare in combat honestly by contrast more than fifty one thousand taliban fighters were killed by american armed forces which shows a major power imbalance in military superiority between taliban in american forces but aside from that by reportedly sent five thousand additional troops back in afghanistan to aid withdrawal despite his call for not putting sons and daughters at risk he just said that it was egregious to put american sons and daughters at risk for filled mission. So what is different about the five thousand additional troops. He sending back into afghanistan. Aren't those sons and daughters. Also at risk and to add insult injury tens of thousands of american citizens have been left behind it in afghanistan in the withdrawal according to the washington according to wall street journal an estimated ten thousand fifteen thousand new citizens remained in afghanistan so yes it is tragic. Every single american soldier died in. afghanistan is a tragedy. No one is disputing dance but suggests that afghanistan was a present danger to the current military soldiers. There from february twenty is simply not true and biden. Really closer to speech with i think when idiotic things that he said in his entire speech close with kohl's diplomacy he said quote. We will continue to support the afghan people we will lead before. Diplomacy or international influence in or humanitarian aid will continue to push for regional diplomacy and engaging prevent violence and instability will continue to speak out for the basic rights at the afghan people of women and girls just as we speak all around the world and quote and my question is just how. How can you negotiate with radical barbaric terrorist group that subject it's ethnic religious and gender minorities to brutal torture and murder. How can you negotiate with democratic for cystic regime. That is responsible for thousands of american lives. I mean honestly gonna ask nicely are gonna get on your knees and begged them to treat the afghanistan woman fairly. I mean i don't understand why biden continues to believe that's diplomacy instead of for actually using military forces is the correct way to go and this brings us back to. What was this for honestly at the end of the day with withdrawn. Us military forces from afghanistan he effectively reversed two decades of foreign policy and the initial mission of counter terrorism and preventing a staging ground for al-qaeda according to the pentagon united states government has been eighty three billion dollars in bolstering the afghanistan government and which is effectively gone to waste. I mean we spend easily billion dollars to bolster an afghan military but the afghan military is so reliance on the american forces to to help them to secure them. But when the american forces are removed from the afghan military to aid them than the billion dollar investment goes down the drain and now according to you defense and state department officials six billion dollars in military equipment including eight hundred fifty mine-resistant ambushed protected vehicles were abandoned in withdrawal which six billion dollars in. Us military equipment is now in the hands of taliban and other terrorist organizations additionally chairman of the joint chiefs of staff mark milley addressed congressional leaders and said that they will move the terrorist threats in afghanistan from medium according to axios which meant that. Obviously you're going to see a rise in terrorism and afghanistan and now that the taliban effectively controls its governments and to add insult injury the inside reports that taliban militants released thousands of prisoners from afghan prisons with links to islamic jihadist groups and al qaeda. So what has changed in the past two decades. We've tried to counter terrorism. We tried to decrease the the influence of kind of effectively imprisoning or killing al qaeda militants. We tried to decrease the the power of the taliban and we tried to effectively counteract attacks by the islamic jihadist groups. But it seems to me after this withdrawal after the dust settled what is going to be. The state of afghanistan will be similar to the state of afghanistan when we first invaded and his brings me to a new york times article which discussed heavier mackey. Who was a former first class army. Special forces soldier with several afghanistan deployments and will shot twice and he said in an interview with the new york times quote. I sacrificed a lot. I saw death every day every year. And the guys. I soaked with new would probably come to an end like this. But the chaos and made his andre after everything we gave. I just wish that had been away to leave. With honor and quote for people like mackey. There is a question that rang in numerous veterans. What was it for the situation. Afghanistan has become similar to america. I evaded two decades ago. All the bloodshed in lives lost in pursuit of counter-terrorism only define the terrorism revitalize. This president has trade the continuing efforts of veterans and committed a damaging dereliction of duty as commander in chief of the armed forces is devastating. What is happening in afghanistan and we can only hope citizens in afghanistan. Remain safe in this critical juncture. All right before we signed off. I like to extend a special. "Address the evacuation of Americans in Afghanistan and Afghan allies. President said that every available resource in his toolbox would be used to safely get people from under the rule of the Taliban. CBS's major Garrett offers analysis to the president's message to the American people. You can't look at these images and say, Wow, this looks like a substantial progress situation. The other thing, the president said that I think it's worth noting. The U. S government is in constant contact with the Taliban, meaning the Taliban essentially exercises some measure of veto control over the passage of Americans to Kabul airport and Afghans trying to make it to that same airport meeting. The United States government essentially has to ask permission of the Taliban to get Americans and Afghan allies out of that country. Meanwhile, the president said next week the G seven the seven leading world economies Will meet to discuss the situation in Afghanistan. The six University of

"States government and ourselves not to comment on any documents that purport to describe classified US government programs or information and that that set that's one of the most detailed no comments statements that you could ask for and I'm actually very grateful that doctor put off sent it to me I consider that friendly yes to those people who are willing to read it carefully not understand the position I have a comment with an explanation right and I recieved virtually the same reply from Dr Eric Davis when when I ask him to comment on it as well what I did find interesting was the inclusion of the word we which is indicating us you know our group or were still bound by oaths and and security and I and I get that and I respect that but the other part about this Richard I want your comment is if they were to deny that the documents were real right what would that have to do with the security oath or or clearance would they be able to say the documents aren't real he is in a no comment the same thing as saying well I can't say that the real we just can't comment on it yes correct I think that's exactly what they they could give and in fact arguably when you're talking about these types of programs these are special access programs yeah and I assume that when you were talking about this with that Dr Stephen Greer earlier you guys got into the actual contents of these notes and what admiral Wilson was telling doctor Davis in two thousand two is his failed attempts to gain access to a special access program after he learned about it from Steven critters breeding in ninety seven learn about a special access program to reverse engineer ET technology and because of his authority and the joint chiefs of staff he was deputy had intelligence at that time maybe we can head of intelligence he had he at least seemed legally to have regulatory authority over that programmer at least to be able to see what was going on there and this is a program that he describes in the notes as very deeply hidden easy to mess very easy to miss the only found it after he asked around the Pentagon including former secretary of defense William Perry who gave advice on where to look and so Wilson looked sound if and eventually found a program manager the corporate attorney in the security manager and they collectively denied him access this is a private firm not the anti personnel speculation is that the private firms Lockheed Martin although it's not been confirmed and they just said no we determine the criteria is like what's the criteria they have great we determine that you don't determine that you're out and he went to complain they actually said if you wanna complain be our guest they didn't seem to care he did complain and was told if you want to keep this up your career is going to suck real taking early retirement you'll never make director de I a and you lose one or two stars along the way and so that he he was very upset about it but so this need for the contents of the of the no sense that we're talking about a highly classified special access program and I'm circling back to your question here why these when no comments instead of denials because in intrusive they could have had to Niles when you're talking about these programs and this is written about years and years ago by an author named bill Sweetman who did an article on that black budgets back in two thousand any pointed out that an unacknowledged special access program as a black program is a program which is considered so sensitive that the fact of its existence is eight core secret and that means of course secret is actually defined in the US airforce regulations at any item progress strategy or element of information the compromise of which would result in unrecoverable failures in other words revealing the existence of a black program with undermines military value and no comment for some of these is even a breach of security in the for the statement emphasized by it could make himself back in two thousand eight in other words you can't just say no comment for some of these you really that would be a breach so you have to categorically deny it the night six systems gentlemen are not denying it right comment is very interesting yeah is it just replying is a comment I think I did just I'm just that simple side of it what we need to take a break right here birthday guy so we'll do just that but we are talking tonight about the amazing revealing Davis will send leaked you of all documents are gassed Richard Dolan I'm yours to be church this is coast to coast AM we'll be right back.
