"Seven or i think is an absolute you know smash pick ever ever in these league address receivers but in like you know but in other drafts like here where we've got the big payback's those are thousand dollar entries. There there leads within themselves. There's no tournament so a knows. I'm gonna i'm gonna continue to be super not super-safe but i'm not going to be worried about like taking that huge of swing for the fence guy. 'cause there's no you're not competing with you know ten thousand people to try to win a half a million dollars right. I just got beat out eleven. I just gotta be at eleven other guys so you know maybe in the main event or football that might take a swing at just fields Because you know. I think he has massive upside. Where but in one of these thousand our leagues. Maybe i'm just playing a little bit safer. Maybe take at. Tom brady. 'cause i don't have to worry about again putting up a monster week every week just have to beat a little love. Another other guys. Adam utah. you mentioned Justin fields Who would be a mid round swing for the fences pick. What about a different position. If i bring up running back. Or if i bring up receiver if i bring up and not necessarily just kfc but f- f esp. Who's who's another pick that you're going to be targeting. You know going into these last couple of weeks. Where like you know guys probably not gonna hit. But if he does. I am gonna really be separating myself from the field. Yeah you know so funny and the eighty p guys this time of year just absolutely is all over the place and i it could change in statement like corey. Davis was a guy that i would have answered that question. You know who. Days ago a week ago as i gotta have a swing for the fences. Guy he went. What did he go on. Like the seventy th round in the big in the in the main event we just did like You guys are But i hate to sound cliche but you know nicole. Hardman is one of those guys. He's one of those swing for the fences. Type guys mike williams. I know he's not later around. But you know in the in the case of see you know. By the time you get to mike williams. You're forty receivers deep. You know what i mean. So it's guys like that granted. It's the as nice around but it's guys like that where they have kind of that. Massive upside A guy that. I was kinda taken. All summer was reminder stevenson. You know And now he's Probably going to move up a little bit. Maybe he has a chance at that at that role or at least he's the handcuffs there so i'm still kind of trying to find. I'm trying to kind of re- recalibrate you know when you start drafting football. May you're constantly recalibrating radio pey. You're recalibrating your mindset on every situation. You know preseason games and stuff like that so this kind of this week here you know being kind of own competition in kentucky I'm kinda recalibrating to kind of this format and kind of it was good to get my feet wet here in this first draft to kind of see where. There's a lot of these guys you know. Would it be drafting altogether all all weekend. Long so Kinda see what..

"What about the guys. That don't what about the guy like you said are making the big box that we never hear from that. We never get their input. And and now you know shows like yours exposing these guys and You know good way and helping us. Become fan is better fantasy football players. Which i know i'm going to need after drafting with you in the main event that we've had just before this podcast tonight. So what we'll talk about this a little bit now. We had Technical difficulty snafu. So we don't have the board right in front of us adam but you were drafting seven. I was drafting v. Can you talk a little bit about and and this is more. i mean. this doesn't have to be necessarily catered to kfc. This could be fm pc or any high stakes league. But when you're buying your draft choice and you get a draft choice. Did at seven in the middle of the round. What's the strategy there because you can go a lot of different ways. How did you Employ how did you deploy or strategy in this tracking the spot. Yeah so you know. This is my first rector this weekend. Doing well you know. How is he talked me into some more. So i'm doing. I think. I'm doing like nine drafts here this weekend. Which is just impossible. When i'm in a street but say absolutely insane but it's going to be insanity it's insanity so you know i don't really have i'll i'll be drafting from all over the all over the board. Did this weekend for the first one you know for me in this format there in the first round there are commuter seven clear guys i want And so i just decided listen. I'm not gonna go one. I'm not gonna go twelve for that third realm of russell seven Get whoever whoever falls to me and then just kind of build from that so that was kind of a strategy that i had you know. It's it's it's super receiver heavy. 'cause you gotta start three so i wanted to get one of those three receivers or one of those kinda my top for running backs and and that's kind of where i started and i really liked comes away. The board felt felt So looks wide. scope this for a little bit And this is something. I struggle with adam. When you're drafting these high stakes leagues and and i'll bring a baseball analogy into this. Is your swing pretty short and concise just trying to make contact in the first few rounds and then as we get deeper the drafter swing gets longer and longer and bigger and wide sweeping where you're trying to hit home runs is that is that the proper take For for fm campus fears to to try to make sure that they have a good shot of winning. A you know some life changing money and five or six five or six bigger grand prize. Yes i think it depends right so like with so we we did it made event tonight but you know the main event in here. It's it's fun and all that but it's fifteen k. I think is the grand prize To me that's not you know that. That's nothing compared to like what what you guys are doing for the spca. So what i'm saying is what i'm trying to say. Is that like here. I'm a little bit more safe short. Like you said kind of short short swings because you know it is a tournament but it's nowhere near as big as the football guys is nowhere near as big as the main of that So yeah. I am trying to play a little bit safer. I t. i took tyreek hill at one..

"I'm beginning to wonder. Zach wilson not be guy. I thought is you same thought as you. Yeah he he. And and i watched him against against the packers and i know he's picking up some steam. Aaron rodgers said. He was pretty impressed with them. I almost drafted him as my backup quarterback in that event i just did but i ended up because i got press gotten the eighth. I'm like. I'll just forget about a backup quarterback but he might have been the guy if i would have done that and speaking of rookies danny paul or junior who covers the cincinnati bengals for the athletic said that while all the talk has been about your march as having all these drops in preseason games and in practice this past week it fantastic for jemaah chase impact. It was four straight impressive practices for the bengals rookie. Receiver this year There's some people were even saying he's gonna lose snaps to automate out of florida state by the way but Tomorrow chase you think about him. Obviously a great prospects still a rookie and not only rookie. This season the after out of last season to You think about where. Justin jefferson was at lsu a year ago playing behind abc. Johnson jamar chase certainly is in danger of not leading living up to that. Hype your thoughts on jomar chased this weekend. Given he is the brand new shiny toy. He is the untapped potential. We don't know what his ceiling is. How are you handling. Not only him in drafts. What about his teammates he higgins in kentucky draft this weekend well of have to play that by ear. The a thing with chase is you know. He is a talent and he was going before can drafts. Quite a while. probably i think i read that his highest had the highest adp rookie receiver in the history and we all remember thinking. Cd-rom roulin was being drafted pretty highly six round last year. Seventh-round chases going to sometimes the fourth. And then he started performing band he down downpours probably started dropping. Probably where he's the best place to place the bet. Now this news and you. How's that going to affect it. It'd be nice if we seen some drafts that we could kind of see what people are doing with him. We're gonna find out firsthand about here kentucky..

"In The value and the players in the way the draft. He's going now for the first time ever Normally when i do these drafts normally i. My first event is always the auction on friday night for the first time ever. I did a main event right before this show and never done that before. So now i'm getting an actual. I dipped my toes into the pool. And i have an actual kentucky. Main events is about here on the show. I don't know if you saw the board but here's my takeaways And i guess this is not breaking news. This is not something anybody should be shocked about. what the running backs fell. There is a significant emphasis on drafting receivers early The Tight end spell. You could get pretty good. Decent value on untied ends And i for. I drafted got sick like the eighth round. I never draft a quarterback. Dan early but the value was so good there. I feel like because receivers are so deep. This year i might end up leading the receivers fall and and you know come you know. Let them come to me as it were. I think my starting four receivers in this league were at mike evans. t higgins juju smith. Schuster brandin cooks. Which i can live with since i got ezekiel elliott jonathan taylor in the first two rounds your thoughts on your strategy this weekend. Are you also going to target receivers early or you're gonna let them fall and target the other positions early. You know so. I started drafting in the spring. And i think our conservative nature. Since we don't know what's going on. I think all the seasons start out so heavy with running backs and especially here in kentucky playing three wide receivers. We get closer to the august main event closer to season starting to see the receivers flying up the board. And i think you kinda have to zig when other people's zag when they start to do that with the the running back hearing you getting jonathan hailer with zeke. I think that's a great setup People are sleeping on jonathan because they're worried about clinton nelson and carson wentz but. I think they're going to be healthy. And jonathan taylor showed he could be an alpha dog in that back to you..

"Who's going to be catching balls out on the sidelines. Deep down the field. Here's much better to me with a strong arm. God can really get the ball downfield again. Good value at that thirty nine right off the edge of a wide receiver three. I wouldn't reach much higher. I wouldn't wanna pencil him into my lineup every week. So does that mean. You're on team judy. For the broncos. Receivers this yeah. I saw list of the guys. I'm very much on joe. I think this this could be second year. Don't be breakout Don't spoil it. Get the judy and a little bit. That all right. Let's move on and talk about. Darrell henderson Sean mcveigh says that. Even though they made this trade with with the patriots or sony. Michelle that henderson's going to have a very big role This according to andrew sicilian on twitter Sean mcveigh said that The despite the trade. The outlook for henderson has not changed. This is a player that they said was not going to play in the preseason. They weren't gonna put them out there yet. They still let him practice any screen thumb. That's a different story for a different day. But the issue here is. How do we sort of put our fingers on how much of a workload is henderson gonna get. How much of a workload is michigan. 'cause they're both going to factor into this office now. This is good news that that sean mcveigh thing. That henderson is is going to be big But how much of a share is henderson gonna have fetched when you look at. This is a sixty forty split. Is it a seventy thirty split fifty fifty split and then talk a little bit about who you think the right guy to own. As far as pass catching goes between henderson and michelle as far as the ppo. You're going to want dell henderson sony michelle. Even though i thought it was great in college. Out of the backfield catching the ball was not used that way in new england and he's perceived as more of a inside as a the rams have done the last few years there a one step cut type running team. That's the reason they liked camakers. They wanna guy that's gonna hit the whole they kind of had this weird fascination with occasionally playing malcolm brown because of the same thing they want inside hit the cut. That's why i'm down on henderson. I i don't think he fits this offense as well and specially with stafford. Because i don't think there's going to be much checking down. I think sean mcveigh has said..

"Like why not take a twenty round flyer or late round flyer raymond. I definitely take him as my big to this weekend. let's move on and talk a little bit about a by the way i totally agree with it. And i and you feel free to disagree with me on this. But i think there's going to be people who wait on quarterback this weekend and they'll draft jameis winston and like the fourteenth and fifteenth round as their starter. Oh you could. I mean tasting hills going enough away from that may scare you a little. But even drew brees last year when he was healthy. averaged two touchdowns throwing a game. Even when tasting hill was already taking that red zone snaps away that everybody fears so much. I do want to. Let's let's keep the focus on The nfc here but let's move on Do the seattle seahawks gerald. Deborah is becoming a favorite target for russell wilson. According to the seattle times russell wilson says that he's super elusive and he keeps getting open. He's keeping Finding on ways to to make plays and everett obviously. He's not going to take the lion share of targets way from decay. Metcalf or tyler lockwood. Who by the way caught one hundred plus passes last year. But you look at How russell wilson in his treated the tight end in that offense. He loves throwing for the tight end down the steam. Shane waldron is lino offensive coordinator and they're certainly things are working in job. Everett's favor if we look at where he is being drafted in the f. Fcc and quite frankly this transfers over to the kfc tight titan sixteen batch you on board with tight end sixteen ever based on the upside. That's about where. I wanna take him. I do not wanna go much higher than that. The reason is He reminds me of a former saint. Louis ran tied-in in jared cook man. He looks the part all the time. He looks like he would be great. And he has these great grains and then he kind of just goes away and with the target share that lock it decay. Mad cast take away and the fact that we know with carol there. He never likes russell cook. Everybody wants to let russell cook but yeah he seems like he takes away. So i'm just a little worried about everett. As as moving up into a tight in one i i would love him in a basketball league. Because he's going to have a couple of great games. But i worry about that consistency. I think you can find a more consistent guy koseki or something in that area So you're like a second better than ever then obviously right..
Sinclaire Johnson Reflects on Her Running Journey
"Tell us about little sinclair johnson. Running around what was she like. And when did running. Enter the picture for you. So i played lacrosse for about. I think like five years before. I decided to stop fulltime. Just run By i got into running because of lacrosse Kind of like how. Most most dissenters were like soccer players beforehand. It was just like a a way to stay in shape And then i eventually Just realized that. I had potential in the sport and And i think my parents. And i were just like maybe we should try. Distract thing and From there just kind of spiraled into Later like you know winning state championships and then getting a scholarship to run in college But yet by my peers were runners. So i feel like that's in my blood But it's yeah. It wasn't like a like they weren't they had never like ran In college or beyond anything So i think it was all very exciting to us like going through the process of like college recruiting and then even light when i mom and dad after nc. Double as when i was i think i can go pro right now and they were just like by like what is you know. What does that even mean so it was. It was a lot of fun. But i like a like really started to get serious with running probably like in college my sophomore junior year But yeah it's been it's crazy to think that like when i started running How awful. I was at it just like i couldn't make it a mile without stopping to like what i'm doing now has been a been a journey but obviously like just come a long ways and it's pretty cold look back on
T.C. Williams High School renamed Alexandria City High School
"The Titans but forget their old school name. The school board in Alexandria also voted last night to change the name of T. C. Williams to simply Alexandria City High School, scrubbing the name of a longtime segregationist superintendent from the school that was best known for its true story of a desegregated football team winning the State Championship. An elementary school, named after a Confederate naval officer was also renamed this time after a beloved teacher, Nye Omi, Brooks. She died last year. Just his

The stunt double shows up to set and he's wearing a different suit than i am and i think technically like you know they didn't know how they would. Maybe they would have to delay day or something like that That's huge amounts of money and inconvenience like you ruin the suits work. There was like a custom sued so it wasn't like they could just like men's warehouse. I was like i can do. This can fall and you know. Do the stunt. I was a child gymnast. Like i know how to do that stuff. Okay yeah i can feel. I just tested this day. I can still do it. Yeah okay then we just try doing. I'm running away from joaquin. And he's firing a gun at me. And i'm like they decided on the day of the like maybe you've already been shot in the like but once and what does that look like. I haven't liked prepped. Running with a bullet in my. But let's try try it and then after after walking comes in like empties the gun into the back of me and runs up the stairs and jed quiet. They'll be they'd yell cut. And then i'd get up and then me and todd and joaquin would go watch playback and be like we'll how did that look that look right. I don't think that's how you'd run if you had a bullet and you're like no i do. That's exactly how it is. And i and i was just felt like i was learning so lightning vast ultimately at the end of it. I felt like it really paid off. And like after i wrapped walking pulled me aside and said some really nice things to me. That was very encouraging awesome. He said hey man. Stanford's Dick Gould on College Tennis
"Indulge. My my pet peeve with college tennis and stanford steer clear of this so You're not to be implicated but you look at some of these rosters and you look at where look players come from. And i always say if you're the iowa the minnesota indiana athletic director and you've got to make some cuts and you see one of your teams has eight guys from out of the country and nobody from in state. You're making my job a lot easier when the the budget ax falls on the other hand. You know we're globalist internationalists and we want to be beyond. Yeah that's a great question. Where where do you come down. You know it's really interesting. Because we'll go. For junior goal before it came to stanford and i never had a foreigner at stanford way gave a scholarship to not for any reason but i was able to get the top americans and as long as i can do that. Knew the families and everything. It was a safer bet for me. But i wasn't above a foreigner. I mean we had some foreigners our team. We came on their own. When i was in junior college we went a couple of state championships with a german player on a mexican davis cup's player on the other. And so i'm not above it So everyone thought. I wasn't but i was able to get the top american soy stuck with that that'd be also served on the advocacy committee for the integrated ten association for a long period of time. And and the first thing. I would do when when school is going to drop a program Debate one two or three two women did matter is to the roster and call it up online and see how what percentage of the team was four. If the team had more than two foreigners who appeared to be starting team in good faith. I do not feel like write a letter to a state institution and who's paying taxes. So these kids go to school and good. Faith advocate for it if they had a couple of foreigners. Okay but if they had a team of four four or five four hundred starting. I couldn't do it. And i was on a committee with the understanding. I would not write letters that circumstance. So i think that's a hard thing and i think Sometimes you cut her own throat doing that and on the other hand john we forget we were off sometime. We all we all we all forget that we all came from somewhere a we're all immigrants and and all of us essentially and and so we have been told her that we have to appreciate that and i in all my years a coaching i never saw a foreigner a foreign player abuse the system i they were turned out to be solid students. They appreciate it. Opportunity had and so many of them stadium states became citizens. Citizens are coaches in our call and our coaches were call indeed college teams today. So you can't fold it Because we all started that way. But the way i think it's a republican student institution particular and our tax payer. I think you'd be could be cutting your view to be that way.
Deshaun Watson Is Ready To Be Heard
"I want to start our conversation with a moment from your interview with the Shawn Watson for your latest ESPN cover story because you talked to him in July over zoom from your home in northern California where you are now and he was two thousand miles away in Houston and you ask them this very pointed question you asked what? Mean, challenges does a lack quarterback face when decided to speak up on social issues. How did this Shawn Watson answer that question? Pablo he answered it in two different ways and to very illustrative ways I would say. He started by saying I. Think you have to watch what you say sometimes. See I think I think you have to watch what you say sometimes. That was the the standard answer. And then he stopped he looked down is if almost to chastise himself, he slapped his hands on his knees and he said, honestly I'm GonNa take that back I felt like. I felt like. Whenever. Black. quarterback especially speaks up dowse world sometimes on their educated enough to know what's going on. So in reality they like, Hey, all. Black QUARTERBACK S. Shut up I know talking about. That switch that he made taking it from what the outside world would think of him to what he thinks of that I thought was was really indicative of this change that he's made personally in the last say six months. It was like he's still a work in progress. He's twenty four years old. He's a young man and he's still sort of has to remind himself that he's no longer straddling this corporate line that he's had to to straddle for three years as an NFL quarterback. Let's trace that trajectory then because in profiling Watson, you traveled to his hometown. Of GAINESVILLE. Georgia what did you learn about his thing? He started out in a public housing project pulled Harrison Square, and if you watch to Sean play, you'll see the wristbands that have eight, one, five on them, and that is as a Al-Majd to eight one, five Harrison Square where he started out with his mom and three siblings. Everyone says to Sean was was just this facilitator. He was everyone's and. He had this charisma about him where he would bring other people along just because he was confident in how good he was. He had been developing as a phenomenal athlete, not just a football player, but he was a great basketball player. and to Sean was just had this ability, he could do whatever he wanted even at that age. He would always pass the ball. He would always pick the kid at the end of line and bring him on his team. He just had that welcoming personality and he was not boastful he was quietly confident. And he became the star of Gainesville. Georgia winning a State Championship in football and taking his basketball team to the final four. From the outside, it appears that he had sort of a gilded life. We always start positive. We always you know anything any -versity of negative stuff that hit us. We always make sure that you know we learn from a real quick and then we turn to page and keep it pushing and keep moving forward.

So let's get these phones buzzing with Facebook comments of buzzing I want to start the conversation off with how How old were you? When you first develop the talent of you know what I could really compete at the highest level of basketball. Really? I kind of knew when I was about six or seven that I was going to be a basketball player like I was always told it and everybody else and I just seem to be kind of elevated, like skill wise with everybody else. But Once I knew I would be a great best ballplayer and I could possibly go to college and play professionally. Definitely Junior year in high school, really? That seems to be the age where guys, you know, they turn up the gears and say, I got to get out of the city got to get my family a better situation. Oh, yeah, definitely. And then you know, that's always in the back of your mind, too, especially coming from Detroit. You always want to make sure you're doing the most to help your family. Well, that's huge. That's definitely huge. How are older? You need first dunked. When he first got out there and try to tear the rim down either 12 or 13. I want to say Over 13 and then Okay, so mostly Oakland, guys, they goto, a Pershing high school. No Kay Felder, a huge name that we had on the show a couple weeks back. Great guy bawling out in China recently as well. So How huge is that? You know the rivalry because you wanted? What? Detroit East, the voice ofthe eastern, Okay, And so how big A rivalry is Pershing and then? Ah, your high school. Oh, first off, we hated their goods. Who was better? It was better, though. They bested his majority, Tom, But like after my junior year, it was It was right. Because I'm gonna keep Kathleen Derrick Nix, you know? Yeah, have at the pieces too short, but we We were the ones who compete. Actually, that year when they won the state championship. We gave them their only loss. So you know great 40 minutes in the state championship, right? Yeah, Remember that? Well, you know, we gave them their only lost that year saw kind of pride myself on that a little bit so You mentioned her junior year is kind of a breakout year. When did you start here? And from Greg Camp? You? When did he start knocking on your door and start recording you? Ironically, I didn't even hear from the Oakland coaches at all until I was transferring from Iowa State, because ah Like go Saudi Washington. He's at Michigan Now. He even told me what he's like. Like I felt like you were your talent should be seen on a bigger level. A bigger scale. So he said he didn't even bother trying to recruit. Really. So you mean usually even even if you don't feel like you have a chance at a guy. You. You at least there at least knocking on your door. But that's kind of why I wouldn't have expected that. But what can you tell us about Campion? Was he? I mean, there's a lot of stories we've heard, But like, what are your personal opinions on the guy? Well, actually love him like you wouldn't think so, Because he's so animated on the court. Everybody would seem like, Oh, he's developed he screaming at his players, but I enjoy that. That makes you a better player. It makes you want to go do your best because you see him. Passionate about the game passionate about his players, and you want to reciprocate that so I love him on and off the court. How big was Kay Felder in the process to get you over from Iowa State Major, So But ironically because of the rivalry you wouldn't think so. But like after high school, you're actually still France. So I ended up talking to him and this and that he reached out And actually him Cory Petro's and Dante Williams. They were like the real big pieces around getting me to go there because, like played a U with them. I saw him around all the time, so it was easy. After I had that, like close knit group of people to say, Hey, let me go here so as a freshman at Iowa State You saw a little of playing time. Then you made a big jump your sophomore year, and so Despite you saying that, you know, you stayed at Iowa State for three years. How tough was it to leave there and make the transition back to the hometown? It was tough, but then again, like The playing style. The culture style rather was changing that I will stay my freshman year. It was more of a three out to win. So as regards and two big basically and then, over time, he began to be more of a five out game. So it was more so me going somewhere that fit must plant stout, But I did. I do actually still kind of Miss Ames, Iowa a little bit. It was really It was a lot of Michigan State guys. They end up going there. You know if there's a way off the court troubles like what? Cory Lucious ended up there, Joe, what other guys end up down at up at Iowa State broom yet? Really good friends. He was. He was one of the first people to reach out to me when I got there, you know, showing me the ropes when we were going to the Cap City League. That was the summer best believe that all the players want to light he would drive me up there. I ended up on his team. So he was always there showing me the ropes early. So my freshman year was a breeze, thanks to him. Okay, so You're you're graduating from Oakland University. Now your eyes on the draft. So how was that process your senior year? You know, getting these rumors that you could be drafted? How fun is that? And also how stressful that situation going in your senior year when you know.
"state championship" Discussed on The High Stakes Fantasy Football Hour
"I would think because they don't have a whole lot other healthy receivers on this. Actually drafted Greg Ward in Atholl. Yeah. Because they're talking about a role and I played him in the KFI. Off Sweet Sixteen you played against them decided I started. As a reason basically the he was unique played. Yeah and it moved me up from like fifteenth I'm finished seven. I really think that was the reason because I had guys. I sat were already playing on teams ahead of me did you a decent week other guys that bad he rolls? Yeah. A little higher that unique player. Again, we're all kind of looking for the plan and was that the week that he. Caught that touchdown to yeah, Oh God. This is this is what we have you on the show because of the Soothsayer of Rob Thatcher, Ladies and Gentlemen Tonight so rob. Let's kick things off and I wanNA talk a little news with you because we got some heavy topics that we save for the end of the show here tonight, match night or this is not one of them by the way so we're we're. Talking Reddaway Match Nightman who covers the packers athletic says Allen Lazard has solidified the packers belief that he will be primary receiver behind Davante Adams Aaron Rodgers quote I'm going to read here everybody's talked about Alan and it's pretty easy because the guy is professional he has worked on his game I think for him to separate himself he needs to continue to improve on things he did last year already and scrimmages the season for. The packers lazard thirty three yard catch seventy, seven yard catch and run touchdown pass from Rodgers. This was we assume against the first stringers although we can't you know say who they were going against, but it's Aaron Rodgers, it's Lazar do the math that wasn't the backups out there I have never been a fan of his He's going super late. Am I wrong? Should I should I be looking at the satellite? Wrong at all, this is kind of like death taxes, green bay talking about receivers. Wasn't even drafted either. In the seven zero house was undrafted. But never they never feel the role I mean when the packers have done well Jordi Cobb. Their second round guys and they always feel like rodgers can pull something more. THAN THEY Had A role late, the year last year I think he'll have a role, but as far as famously I don't. WanNa. Guy That's going to have a role I got I WANNA guy that's GonNa. You know jump out. Yeah. That's a great point I mean. Maybe, that's the problem I have with him because he goes in the thirteenth round fetch as wide receiver fifty, seven, I mean that's fine if you wanna take him there but that's what I'm trying to hit home runs. Appears Campbell Michael Pillay. Yeah. Right. And those guys are pedigree curse, Campbell of first or second round pick. And Pink with second round to and then you have lazard who would you know wasn't even on a team I? Liked him in the pre-draft process I when he was appointed Iowa state I'm like this guy is going to fall out in the NFL and then I switched my feelings on them. When I saw thirty two teams passed on him seven times like maybe I'm wrong in my talent evaluation here I just see it's a limited stealing It's fine if you WANNA drop them but you know it's not a buys he's not gonNA have any spike weeks I. Really don't see him take a step forward. No No. Never on the flip side stand in the NFC north. This is a receiver actually like Anthony Miller participated in team drills this week according to Brad bigs on twitter. This is on Tuesday. He had his second straight off season shoulder surgery completed but as Rehab went well and it sounds like he is going to be ready to go week one Alan. Robinson is actually dealing with a bit of an ankle right now is going to be opposite Anthony Miller, and Miller I, think part of the reason, I like him fetch down the stretch I season. Five point seven catches seventy two yards across the final six weeks would have been even better, but he was playing inexplicably playing special teams in week seventeen and got hurt on that on that play I'm GonNa. Tell You I don't have Kentucky ADP but I'm GonNa, tell you right now Anthony Miller as far as football guys ADP over the last two days is going at the as a twelfth round pick. Why did your fifty three I'm all over that man much rather have him then lazard and really was not that much later quite frankly. Yeah. Hype Guy the last couple of you. GonNa to take off I. Think the big thing to note here is Teri Gabriel it's gone they've. third-down slot type role they brought in Ted game, but I don't think Ted Ginn has that he's a deep threat he's taking those third-down targets. I think have Anthony Miller can really help. They don't really have a productive tight end. So I think they have eighteen of them but none of our productive. Yeah that's the issue. On the rise and the guy draft that. I actually I think I'm in one of these Kentucky's villagers Oh. It's by the way Kevin Williamson said you were on the clock and one of them he said. Okay. All right perfect. Yeah. He said you weren't allowed to talk until you made the pick but I'm glad you made the pick. So that's good. But yeah, I I think I took. Miller in one of these draft like my number five or something like that and I feel really good about it I'll say this right now I got a nine grass this weekend and I bet Anthony Miller is on at least three or four on my teams just he's you know people. Listening to this podcast and start jumping sniping on me which I mean who knows that's GonNa Happen but I'm with you I like All right. So Washington football dot com had this story about Antonio Gibson getting a fair amount of first team wraps. Now you don't have various guys there anymore fat. You get Adrian Peterson, who you know we know who he is. He's going to be the starter. I saw an interesting report today I. Don't know if you saw this but. It it was a beat writer that said Washington is probably gonNA keep for running backs but if they don't It's Bryce love WHO's GonNa be on the outside looking in because it sounds like jd mckissick role is locked on this team take me through the Washington running. Back's who do you like who do you not like? I don't like anybody about kissing and again you can get him so like France? Yeah. Yeah and the reason I. Like the. Tony Power Daryl Henderson. Yeah. Just, like gets Almost. Like gadget place I hate when that word shoes because that means it's sparing yeah. You know what? I'm saying they can reversal everybody's looking from Catherine the running back that can catch and and run the ball in the TAC. They're just not out there and they're using more like a gadget like cave on Austin, something like that. That usually does not. Well, it usually means low volume low snap count. You know how how, how effective can you be for fantasy if you're not out on the field consistently and and so I think I assume you and I are agreement on the running back. That's probably GONNA have the most first team snaps in Washington probably going to Adrian Peterson but but how attractive is he? I mean, he doesn't catch passes. He's a I. Don't WanNa say, the shell of its former self, but there's not a lot of birth there and I don't. Want him to be on a great office if he if he's yeah line carries in the late when you're a head I mean. What Washington is going to be thirty percent of the time games this year I mean if that yeah. So they're going to be throwing the ball, but it's going to be all over the corn and some of 'em some of their other reactors and hype is has gone nuclear. Well, what nuclear on Antonio? Gibson a few weeks ago but he's still an eighth round pick and..
Judge stops Idaho from enforcing transgender student-athlete ban
"Transgender athletes from women's sports teams. Well, that's not really very specific. Is it because you could be? Let's see a woman who's trans to Ah, man, and then can you compete in the women's I think you probably should be able to because You know, that's the that's the thing. They're a federal judge says Transgender women and girls in Idaho cannot be banned from sports teams corresponding to their gender. Comma blocking on Idaho law that attempted to do so. They if you're a young man, you're born a boy. You know, you got an Audi instead of an N E. And you grew up playing hockey and and doing whatever on you're a boy. And then you become a teenager. You decide on the girl, and then you want to be on the girls track team. And win the state championship and get the scholarships which happened in Connecticut when this young girl Who was going to the state championship, and she came in fourth instead of third because they're two men who look like they could be wide receivers for the Washington Redskins on and they are saying that they're women, and they won the track meets and then they win the scholarships and all of that. Because you know, liberals on that's really the short answer. So the federal judge says that transgender women meaning biological males, who now say they're females cannot be barred from competing as females and stealing and cheating. See, this is what we used to call cheating. And Democrats air for cheating because they've got this gender issue in their brain that they they can't straighten out. This is a victory for all women and all girls

the kids out of that happened jelly part and I know he goes and I love you don't seem tell me what you think and also Scott reed myself we'd we drove a little over two hours away from top level I wonder about people I don't want to be playing merry and bright within a playoff game in two thousand the liberties out thirteen you know I came away an actual doctor who high school quarterback I've ever evaluated not as chicken you know I've been doing this a long time and you know when I sit there and look back at the film that I recorded that night and the things that I saw was a lot of things you're seeing now in college arms down even stronger than what it was in high school but that decision making doing progressive he he he would really not just the first problem that's what you see a lot of times and he's got a high school quarterback the place called they're going to the first option yeah he would actually do bill progressions back in high school and the pay is sold me about Joey Heisman Trophy in his speech tell you this is the type of kid I met back in two thousand thirteen and I don't suppose the night a direct message we joined back in in December two thousand thirteen and I tell kids all time during the day you have to dream big because here the young man in December on December eighteenth two thousand thirteen all almost your four days away sent me a message because he he didn't really get any attention recording and I do not worry about it it's going to happen because I I would that possibly he was a great quarterback and the thing was is recruitment wow you know I heard you earlier in the show a lot of offers they did pick up one of the ones who did not recruit him what the brass which that one call the night on TV you don't know the story dad played across the coast right and the price that he has older brothers that also played in Nebraska that was kind of like his dream school growing up yeah and but it did you know that never happened in fact you know interesting story with the Ohio state coach Herman leaves Ohio state takes the job in Houston and that one call to that Nebraska coach back comes to Ohio state rumors since moving out to be done by urban Meyer and the Buckeyes coaches that went back came in because Joey star the option of going elsewhere and schools trust me it by that time we're taking serious interest and the one with the team up north but joined the true he he wants to be an Ohio state Buckeye and the circumstances leading to unless you just you know competitiveness yeah wanted to have a chance to show what he could do and you know a close been using America too yeah so you know it great story everyone should be you know who follows a high school football should be just enjoy here the young man you know who was Mr football stayed awhile we just saw that right here in Cincinnati after many many years without a crater winning it but lunch chili borough now it is just a pleasure and I'm happy to speak with a young man happy for family your right to OJ Burke deploys the toughness the OB gosh you're going through the progressions and the accuracy the show and the tough this when he does run with the football in hanging tough in the pocket man he's got to he's got it all in you know people one thing I took away from you know you saw and I talk about his alignment he always talked about his teammates yeah he had power around even after the holiday his senior year they made it to the state championship game and lost to the legal central Catholic and I think that's what people really realized how how the jelly wise because that game was no joy property had found Rowntree Williams is a high school teammate who Jack also cost at all are you Jesse Williams just finished up his career northwestern there's a couple plans were tied into our our planning at all have you so there was more time around him at the high school level than people gave the that part of the country or any of the state of Ohio credit for and they took the big stage and our stadium up to the state change of games senior year and they came very close to winning a state title so I'm excited I think everyone else's you know who's seen the story unfolded in very excited tonight and I'm just you know like I fall from a post it with the twenty people who voted change young yeah one but I yeah great player NCAA rules Memphis freshman James Wiseman ineligible for 12 games
"Never convince me that penny hardaway a was just by cannon out money to a mom because the mom wanted to move to be close to the daughter if the mom son was a mid major player. I bet that doesn't happen. It happened because James Wideman was the best prospect his age literally in the world. Okay so that's that's his version But even if you accept the more likely realistic not dumb virgin which is now he was trying to get. James is in high school to play basketball for east high school so he could win a state championship. That still doesn't rise to the level of what these cases usually are in other words. Penny Hardaway was a memphis booster. Yes and he provided money to a mother of of a student athlete. A recruit a student athlete true but it wasn't to get James Wiseman to go to Memphis. It was to get as many go to east high school and so that's unusual. That's not the way these things normally work now. I do think you can start to connect some dots here. Because Penny has said that he had no idea when he provided that money to James Wiseman and it allowed to move to Memphis. He had no idea that he was going to be Memphis head coach in one day recruit James. Listen to Memphis and I can't tell you what he had hit so I can't say that's is not true. I can just tell you that. I had an idea that he would be the head coach Memphis in fact on the day. James Wiseman moved to Memphis. I said this is why. You've got fire W. Smith after this season in higher penny hardaway it because if you wait another season as minority be signed to Kentucky but if you do it after this season after James's junior year of high school then at some point either before or during his senior year of High School Penny Hardaway could bring him and the other players that ever relationships with to the University of Memphis so it penny didn't have any idea it was going to happen. That's fine but I had a very clear idea. That not only should happen that it probably could and it actually did so. Oh I do think you can reasonably say and it was interesting because the incident late term this a recruiting inducements and I think you can reasonably caught a recruiting inducement. And here's how the eleven thousand five hundred dollars that went to wise. Mother is what led to him being east high school and him being at East High School at at least contributed to Penny Hardaway. Getting the job and I don't think there's any way to intelligently argue that that financial commitment mid-may that he made to the family didn't help him. Recruit James Wiseman to the university Memphis. I I don't WanNa go on off like ten minute tangent but like. How many degrees breeze removed is that from Mike Boynton hiring Kenan Cunningham to his staff geographic advantage in addition to a familiar one or USC doing the same thing? With the Mobley's you're providing a financial opportunity for the family to be closer to a geographic region. Now that's legal. I have no problem with them. Hiring you're like what like how many degrees separated really from all of that. No listen I'm with you know doing what Penny Wise Men's mother to get. Get James Wiseman eight really that much different than when I say it's less I think it's I don't think I think it's less offensive. Well here's here's the thing. Whatever were you think's offensive not offensive? I got here's the problem. One is allowed. The other is not answering. Wanted to boil down to that. That's what it's always going to boil down to and if you want to change the roles I've said it a million times. Put me in charge. GimMe all the power. I'll change all the roost rules tomorrow. But the rules are the rules as long as they're in place and what might Boynton I did is allowed. And what Penny Hardaway did is not allowed and it really is simple as that you can hate the instable a all you want. I Hate I'm too but this is an undeniable violation and when Memphis started down the path that started it created additional problems that they did not I need to create.

"I welcome back state championship bureau. Glad you could join us, by the way. A new story came out Tim Donaghy, the guidance allegedly fixed NBA basketball games, you went to jail for a little bit of new report came up from ESPN stating that he that's exactly what he did. He never was charged with fixing NBA games as an official. But this ESPN report that came out says that's exactly what he did. And it goes into detail. We're gonna try to get Tim Donaghy on the on the line tomorrow. So should be interesting. We're talking about this Jesse small at situation, we're going to continue that discussion. But before we get to that. We do have a caller on the line who did want to ask a UNLV basketball question. He's been waiting patiently on hold. So let's go to Scott, Scott. Thanks for calling in. How are you? Good. We play a little game if Elaine Wynn walk into your studio right now guys, I'm gonna pay brick Patino five billion dollars a year. But I have some questions for you about him. But I don't know anything about. And I need you to answer them for me. Which could I ask you a couple of questions that she might ask you. Sure. Okay. If she said all right guys who was Karen ciphers. What would you say to that? I don't know where that is. Well, that was the woman he ate. Abortion. Okay. The woman that he liked banged in the bathroom at a restaurant. Okay. Yeah. And he goes, okay, guys. But who is Bryan Bowen who was that explained to me with that is out of rye bonus. Brian Brian was. Okay. Okay. Four different coaches tried to pay him money. Creighton was one of them. Yes. As she says his first his first coaching job at Hawaii. He was found guilty of eight violations. What I'm getting out here guys? It's just too much of a risk for UNLV big spent twenty nine years trying to get away from that they're trying to cheer one university. Now, they can't take that. Let me ask you a question. Then Scott find me a coach like Alon Krueger who could turn this program around for six or seven hundred thousand dollars a year. That would not only take the job. Okay. But what would sign a four or five year deal, and it would actually work. Give me one guy that you think will get the base going that will put people in the seats like Rick Pitino would get people in the seats. I'll wait tell me give me one name. Dana Altman, you think Dana Altman will get people in the seats. Are you serious Scott? I disagree Scott. You're gonna find you're gonna find out very soon. The data all mincemeat committing a lot of crimes up there. Tweet from paying players left. And right. Coach finding a top coach in the country. That hasn't been the rules. Now, maybe Rick Pitino is worse than many. Okay. Not a lot of them. Hold prostitution rings for their players. I get that. That was my last thing that was over the top. Impressive. Well, he obviously watched he got game at least three or four Scott, Scott. Let me be very clear, and then we're going to get back to this jussie smollet situation. But let let me be clear, you're okay. As as Roma said, let me be clear. Okay. Rick Pitino is a bad guy. Okay. Rick Pitino is a horrible human being with that being said, he is one hell of a basketball coach as much of a horrible person. He is the guy wins everywhere. He goes just like Donald Trump always wins in business. Here's he one hell of a price. I disagree on that. Okay. I Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson is a horrible wasn't horrible human being right? He molested children. Okay. But with that being said, I like this music. Okay. I say the same thing about Rick Pitino. Rick Pitino horrible human being fantastic basketball coach I'm a fan of his coaching. I'm not a fan of his personal life. And I think UNLV needs to take that risk. And I think UNLV if they hired Rick Pitino number one. He's the only person on the planet right now that would take this job and would actually put people in the seats and win. You can't name me one of the person with all due respect. There's only one thing Brian all those examples you gave Michael Jackson came in those are not places of higher education UNLV as a place of higher. Just tell you I admire and I'm talking about me. That's why my reputation not because he, you know, he's a scumbag, but he's a hell of a basketball coach I bought Michael Jackson's albums. He's a child molester. But I listened to his music. I mean, that's that's what I'm trying to tell you now as far as the investigation. Look, you you have a very good point. I'm not denying is going to be tough for UNLV to pull the trigger on this. There's no doubt it's going to be difficult. But I think he is the front runner right now for the job along with maybe Thad Matta those to me those are the top two guys right now. It'll be interesting, right, Scott. I appreciate it. Thank you so much the cost guide. We need it. We need to put your you need to put your mic on. I actually. I it's on right now. To turn your mic off for the rest of the shell. But I'll give you that allowed. Do you have a special special guests my insurance agent, by the way thanking much insurance? Great job. She ball. She knows politics woman. You're definitely more attractive. Look at them. Ron that's for sure. But anyway. Talking about this. We're talking about this. Thank you for coming in by the way, we're talking a little bit about this Jesse small at situation, and we got some callers on the line that I want to get to here. It is a wild situation to five seven five three nine six. Let's go to Orlando. I believe Orlando is next. Thank you for calling in Atlanta. How are you? I'm doing well. Sorry about that. All right. I just wanna to put in suicide Jesse smaller thing. Yes, sir. You know, there's there's the rates of racism in this world. Absolutely. You know? But you know, there's all this indignation because of what he did right now. And rightly so I I understand that. But where where the when the president calls, rapists and drug dealers. Can I can I ask you a question? I how long have you been listening to the show? I've been listening to your show. Yes, sir. About half an hour ago. Okay. But I mean, do you listen on a regular basis? Yes. Yes. So you've obviously heard me call out Trump for making horrendous comments about Mexicans making horrendous. Comments about POW's. You've heard me criticize him for that. Right. Okay. Okay. And I'm not saying that, but. Say that this was a modern day lynching. Yeah. You know, smaller the terrorists who's actually the terrorists that was J D that call them a terrorist. I'm sorry. I'm just saying, you know, where where the oldest indignation when this president that that's a fair question. Let's ask JD or Orlando. That is a very fair question JD, whereas all the anger when it comes to Donald Trump. He makes a very valid point. There. You're calling this guy small at a terrorist. Which I I'm saying what what he did could be like into terrorism because of how he how he pushed it through the media. How people call them the modern fraud. It's fri- it's a lot of things. But if he was trying to cause a big racial issue on a national scale, which would have done had it been true Orlando. Why don't you? Go ahead and respond to that. You know? That's what the president is doing when have back. You know, contradict his reasoning for putting up this wall right now, we don't accept those facts because you know, over there, and then we come up with alternative facts. I agree Orlando we are in complete agreement. I know that my co host probably disagrees. We need a female opinion. But I I do think I do think that Orlando makes a lot of valid points there. I think if you're going to be angry, where's all the anger when it comes to Donald Trump, whereas all the anger, if you're gonna call this guy, small let a terrorist or if you're gonna call I I I don't think many people call them JD's, not necessarily calling him an ISIS terrorist. But, but I I understand if you're if you're on the right if you're on the right, and you're going to be so angry at this guy smell that. And you're going to be so angry at some of these people on the left that that that supported him on that story. I came out. Where's your anger when it comes to Donald Trump? I it goes both ways you have to be fair. I think this guy smell. Let's I if this is Theresa scumbag, you should go to jail. I also think our presidents scumbag when you think about that two five seven five three nine six, I believe Josephus next Joseph. Thanks for calling in. How are you? Are you guys doing what's on your mind? Joe? You know, when it comes to Trump saying stuff about Mexicans are drugs, drug lords and their rapist. But he's only talking about people who have been caught not what he said in in this country. He's not talking about every Mexican or every person who comes into the. I'm just going by what he said, my man, if you're a rapist, and you come into this country. We don't want people like Joseph. I'm gonna I understand what you're saying Joseph. If that's your interpretation that's fair. But let me just read you the quote, okay? These people coming into this country. They're rapists, they're bad people. And I suppose some of them are good people. That is Donald Trump's quote. Yeah. Some of them are I suppose something some of them are not good people. The majority of them are good people. No. That's not true your opinion. Joseph. That's not true. You wanna take it Joseph? That's not true though. The majority of these people are good people. You gotta listen, you gotta say, hey, some people are this way. In some people. That's not factual the majority of these people coming into this country illegally are not bad people. I've never heard the president say something like that. And that some of them. Now, what's considered bad? Broken into the country is not talking about everybody. He's talking about bad people in the group were a good. That's not what is said. I can only. Okay joseph. I appreciate the call. Your interpretation of what he said you're trying to interpret something I'm going by exactly what he said quote. And I said it to you. And then you're saying, well, he just meant, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. That's what Donald Trump apologised deal. Okay. That's what they do. I take a quote or somebody in the media takes exactly what he said. And I said, well, he didn't really mean that or he'll say grab them by the you-know-what all what that was just locker room talk. I am taking an exact quote can't these people coming into this country. The rapists there, burgers, bad people. And I suppose some of them are good people. You know, what if he said look some of these people coming in this country are not good. Right. It was. Breaking the law to come into the country. But it doesn't mean they're rapist. It doesn't mean people either going into a country, and you're not doing the proper processes to get into that country. You start off on a bad bad note, if you'll apply for a job that doesn't mean, you're rapists, especially if you're taking jobs for people who are supposed to the country, and you're getting money from the government, etc. And a biggish for me. Honestly is you're giving hundred and eighty days to renew your visa, and if you don't do that. What are you doing? You can't get back for three years after that. You're obviously not trying to be a a decent member of society for not doing. I am not about to say that you're a horrible person a rapist a murderer. If you. It's a stretch clearly just because you cross the border illegally with all due respect in my opinion. Does not mean, you're a horrible person. It could mean a lot of different things like the woman who died in Salvador who crossed this country illegally because she was a transgender woman, and she felt no other way because her life was in jeopardy, guess what she got deported. And then she was killed. I wouldn't call her a bad person. I believe she had no other way. And I believe there are a lot of other stories out there their parents that crossed the border with their children because they believe they have no other way. And I am not going to crap on those people like the president does on a daily basis. I just can't do that. We just have a diff- difference of opinion. That's all we gotta take some more calls. Let's go to Josh. I believe Joshua's next. Josh, thanks for calling into the Vegas. Daycare you. That was my best call today. Thanks task five seven five three smart. Let's go to let's go to Brian Brian. Thanks for calling in. How are you? What's up, Brian? I mean, Scott. Doing good. How you folks do. What's on your mind? Well, I think the whole thing the racist the race card and the term racist gets thrown away gets thrown around way too cavalierly is days. I agree. Very true. Donald Trump is not a racist. You don't know that some things that are stupid. Sometimes. Yes..

"Things. I need to do every day to build my. Case that I have made a better America. And I deserve another four years. And if you focuses that way that I think he has a chance to be re-elected if he is scattered and doesn't have good people around him that it's gonna make that very very difficult. We have promised to governor to return his car if he waits through one more he's agreed to do right back with more to pay for the parking cancer. Here's the book. Here's the author. We've returned his car and paid the parking Zun ready to go. I'm in in the studio yesterday with Nicole Wallace. You talked about life being full of defeats and your book your forthright about them starting as a young man chapter of your life. People heretofore have known about. And that is being a catcher in baseball. I should add that among your spectacular children. You have raised to spectacular baseball player. I have tell us about that. Well, I was the catcher for my high school baseball team my junior year good enough player that I got elected one of the captains for the beginning of my senior year. And then a guy who I have been friends with through elementary school junior high and had left to go to a private school. And it was an outstanding athlete and a great catcher decided because our team was going to be so good that his last semester of high school that he would transfer from the private school back to the public school. And he took my job and I had to live with. Watching my team go twenty eight and two guys have been playing with since I was seven years old and win the state championship number one in our state. And it was one of the hardest things I ever had to do at that point in my life, incredibly disappointing because I worked so hard towards that year. But what some people urging me to quit because he thought it was unfair. When it happened to me. And but my mother said to me, you're not a quitter and go in there and do what you can do to make the team better. And she convinced me, and I and I stayed hung in with the team we won the state championship. And I learned a lesson about the fact that all my all my teammates, still admired me, I still was able to contribute in a lot of different ways. And I and it taught me that you can't get back up and keep fighting and that also will play into your next chapter which you ain't saying much about now. I mean, let me finish is enough of a clue right? I mean, I still think I'm done yet. In many respects, fifty six years old. And I'm not ready to hang it up. And I feel like I still have a lot of things to say a lot of things to contribute. I don't know how that will manifest itself. Brian. I really don't not being coy like the Republican president right now. And I told you I don't think anybody can beat him in a primary. The only job I'm really interested in for running for elective office as president and the one I think I'm best suited for. So if that comes about opportunity comes again, I have a chance to run and win. I'd consider it. But otherwise, I hope to find another way to contribute besides just to my family and their financial wellbeing. I can't do endorsements but you can best Mexican food and seaside New Jersey Lewis the best Mexican food. You know is right on the seaside heights. Boardwalk Macy's can't spicy canteen. Ohio State football has everything at stake against Penn State
"We got Penn State Ohio State this weekend, and it's a playoff game. It is, what do you expect? Well, and to your point, people always like expand the playoff and go to eighteen sixteen teams. This is a playoff game. It is. This is an elimination game. I'm going to be at another one up. These are the games and we talk about this game on this show because with that playoff predicted that tells you even if you were just an essay. Person, and that's all you watch. You don't watch any game outside of the conference. You need to keep an eye on this one because you're going to see more than likely one of these teams because listen that play predictor at Penn State where to win this game this weekend, they're the ones that are gonna take over that number four spot. I expect shootout and going into the year, honestly before I was there and personal Saturday, I'm might not have believed that Ohio State could keep up in a shootout with trace McSorley and Penn State. Dwayne Haskins is, is the truth may legit, oh, he's the truth. And there's a reason Joe boroughs at LSU. Yeah, Joe borough is at LSU because Dwayne Haskins beat him out for the Ohio State quarterback job. They engaged in quite a battle during the spring Haskins ultimately wins at I in Happy Valley all day Tuesday. I'm doing a big feature for sportscenter on Saturday on one of a Penn State's offense of linemen. And I talked spoke extensively with James Franklin who you see here, not only for that feature but about his team. He loves his team. They lost a ton offensively. This saquon Barkley to the New York Giants day. Sean Hamilton was one. Of the best and most underrated wide receivers in the country. Last year they got bowlers. So you would expect, okay, they're going to fall off authentically, oh, Appalachian state gave them all they could handle in week one that was actually a great learning experience with this group. So they have resorted all trace McSorley does is win. He is tougher than woodpecker lips man. And I think this one is going to be attract me. I agree with you, and it's going to be so fun to what I learned this from you that trace McSorley won four consecutive state championship, all he does win. All it does all that that young man does is win football games

"You're like this is the team that's that's supposed to be unbeatable and supposed to lakas down defend like i don't i that there's no way this is going to happen but yeah the whole narrative that the offense is bad like every single game they're yeah jenny know they they they struggle on offense like no they really don't they just basically play the percentages and and they also play the clock that it's like a weird it's not that they're playing four corners but they're there if you miss if you're one and done they already have in their mindset when they get down there gonna waste twelve to fifteen seconds before they get their offense because they don't they're going to limit your possessions it's just smart baths while they're playing the percentage of the entire gamut it's not a but they also can go i so jerome and he can is what a joy face argued as a master i think that's where i think it's lost in the conversation about virginia is that is that second part like he said that they're not doing it as a get this isn't like this is a hickory high plane in that the state championship were jama jim jimmy chew was put the ball underneath his arm for three minutes because they know that they're so alma rush is but that's not what your genius is doing there's no thirds they're tried to have like two possessions because they know that they they sucked that's not what virginia's doing that's not their game like the and i think people think that's what they're they're plant is in so even when they win you seek like all that was just like a gimmick and i was like they want onto bullshit they actually have legitimately great basketball players and i don't know man i don't want to take credit away from tony bennett because he deserves all the praise rabin agree coach but like tony bennett isn't that great i mean like.
