"Thank you, Florida Man. It smells Indeterminant. Lee Delicious. I'll say that Kyle bought us some way. South Philly. Thank you. Kyle. Florida man, Kyle. We're in so much and in us that Austin, Texas love that way. South Philly, which we didn't buy. It was a gift from one of the great Sports talk listeners ever. Yeah. What do we do to deserve this? Kyle? We sometimes it just celebrating Bitos. Successful return from the desert. It usually is. Yeah. Did you leave? I see you. Did you leave your moustache in the desert? No. You had a moustache that when last time I saw right I also had it this morning at like, five. Really? 55 when I got here, I'm always how do I beat both? All the other morning shows here sometimes add You're a hustler, man. All right, That's crazy. You're number one, the in our playbook. You almost said something else. You have the You put the safety on right there. I missed you guys. Thank you, Florida Man. Cow. He called where you're going. I thought he was the flap and join you was so excited about your venture. He should have. Yeah. Um, one of my bosses like man. I didn't see anything on your instagram stories or anything else like us in Vegas. Dumb ass. It's like you know how everything stays. Not when you put it online, right? And they're also I mean, do I really was like in the Boccaccio for Close to 72 hours either walking there or back or staying in there, Jason how it is when you're there. You don't have to leave. Make it So they just want all your money. They want you to stay and gamble. Keep gambling. Keep staying. Keep earning. That's what I said. Burden. This is the one and only man. I don't know if I can ever go back. I want to stay up. Speaking of earning. Yeah, follow along at Sports. Takeo BJ. We re posted the story from 24 7 Sports is better. Just detailed to Longhorns already have Name, image likeness deals in place. I presume that's within the rules. Yeah, and our guy Mike Murphy of last stand hat, says, Quote n I l is huge because you can now reach out to these players connect with them and help them build their brand and grow with them. And and the mix of type of guy that and he's got a great product with the hats and Yeah, I'm all over the college World Series. Yeah, dude, drinking beer out of his shoes. Yeah, sure. Jugar drink out of the hat man. It seems like a better choice than the drinking out of the shake him out of the chute. I like Hansen's Family was wearing them. I mean, they were everywhere. The last stand hats but no jail. For some reason, I think, like, shoot chugging of thing. It is a starting off. It started in Australia. It start in Australia with I think we should make that a show bet for the next bet. Whoever loses drinking beer and a beer out of the winners shoe. Okay, That doesn't seem I'm bringing my old don't be on lawn care shoes, a couple more things from this name, Image likeness. Then, First of all, there's a piece from Dan Murphy today on ESPN dot com. Basically about what all of this means no relation of the on the interim rules. He writes that each school would be responsible for coming up with their own set of policies based on a very loose set of guidelines from the N C. Double A specifically, don't let boosters pay athletes and don't let endorsement deals Serve as recruiting inducements to which laugh. That is exactly correct. Me, though. L o l What do you mean? Don't let them how can you? How can that not be the case exactly exactly A by setting up some kind of third. Party business that should already be in place and be by setting a limit, which neither are then there's no limits from the N C. Double A. There's no limits University and I believe that's because the N C double A knows that if they try to set a limit that they will be taken to court, and they will lose, you know, just there. You know, the Supreme Court decision that we just saw was on something different, and it has nothing to do with an image like this, But the Supreme Court made very clear their position. Hey, You guys are operating poorly, All right. And if people challenge you, we are going to side with the challengers. So don't don't mess around here, man. Um, another thing and I just thought of this while we were on the air yesterday. I brought it up yesterday. But you know there's going to be Big time winners in this and not necessarily losers. But there's going to be guys in the locker room all of a sudden look across the way at a dude who's cash in big checks, Russian big, big big checks and maybe driving a brand new big car who may be having a boat. Wait a second. Let's let it let Jason finish the center. Well, my question is because, Yeah, we're you know, you brought it up several times. And is that going to create a divide in the locker room? When all of a sudden the star quarterback is, you know, maybe he's got a six figure endorsement deal. And the guys blocking for him. They're just happy to keep getting their books paid for and you have always said. That's not going to be a problem. I said that's well, what I always say is Listen. That happens in in professional football all the time. All right. Patrick Holmes makes $50 million a year and the guys blocking for him. Certainly. Don't make that. What you see all the time in the NFL is the quarterback. The running back taking care of those guys. Remember? Emmett Smith ruled it was always right. Rolex, right, right. Wood and Henry, your man, Henry, Tennessee. Everybody gotta change some kind of pendant. Let's say, uh, Casey Thompson becomes, you know the superstar quarterback and all of a sudden is pulling in 100,000 month, an endorsement money. If he wants to, uh, share the wealth with his offensive line. Is that not a violation? How could it be? It's again. You mean, how could it be a gift? Yeah, they're not allowed to accept gifts. Said if all of a sudden I mean I mean away it doesn't matter that it comes from a teammate versus if it comes from booster booster Who says Hey, I want to share the wealth with the offensive line blocking for that, dude. You know you You see it all the time, Ed. You know about guys, didn't you? Didn't you commit an N C double a violation or did when you handed others to go play handed out some milk money to somebody. You Stan Thomas? It was Stan Thomas. So don't throw him under the bus. I'll show him other bus. He's old Now we bought it two chicken fried steaks at the lodge at Lake View, which is not there, cross remote. That is not allowed right because I got a free meal based on their and excellence in the athletic field and the athletic arena, And I'm pretty sure that Yeah, if Casey Thompson or Bichon B Gene Robinson started cashing in and said, Hey, guys, we're going to Sizzler. It's on me. I mean, look, I don't know to what the degree the is going to investigate this and I'm pretty sure they're just sticking their head in the sand on this whole deal. But if you want to go by the letter of the law, a player sharing his wealth with his teammates, I think I think is an NC double violent. I don't think it would. I don't see that You may be exactly right. But I don't see it that way. I say that, just like we said with Derek Cannery when Emmitt Smith Helping the guys who helped him. But those are professional athletes. Listen, this is how they're going to help others. I appreciate that sack of money. But boom! Sorry before the money gets delivered. I will appreciate that sack of money that you will be delivering. But I would also request that X Y Z are probably J through Z gets a little something something as well. Let something fall off the truck for my guys. You mean uh, so when they make their deal, right, the B John would with his endorsers. His partners, he would say, Hey, how about a little taste from this is what you need to give me but rather than him fall off the truck for my Offensive line. Good work around because you should be in the Yeah, yeah, like that. That is. Who says I'm you know who says he's not Guido, But that's an interesting point. You don't choose that life. Jason look at life chooses you. It's just another Chapter in this thick, thick book of How is this going to work? How is this going to go? Exactly? We don't know it in the places where they're chomping at the bit like the guy in Oklahoma that I said, Oh, we're going to take care of our guys said Don't worry about that. Don't you know? Come Thursday, July 1st. Show me the money or when? When? What day is today? Tuesday, Thursday, Tuesday, June 29th. Whatever That might be, guys, I'm not sure you know the end recommended. Don't let boosters pay athletes don't let any endorsement deal service recruiting inducement, So that would be that would not be quite oil. Well, for that Top wide receiver coming to Oh, yeah, that's not cool, man..

I think Ellis grew back is something that Unless you're sitting around with nothing to watching television, and you're obsessed with your favorite football team in the lack of success at the quarterback position. Like you. I think it could be harder for some folks. I got more. "It's ironic that you know, Trump couldn't exist without the media. He's the Frankenstein monster of the media. He was created by the media and I all I heard from pence last night with a bunch of speeches, you know, riddled with the same old lies and spin. It's It's very sad, You know, it's revealing that that huge fly past up fresh garbage and poop in order to hang out on Pence. Winston Churchill once said that the best case against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter. In fact, you know, the framers of the Constitution didn't believe in universal suffrage. They supported white landholders being able to vote and that was just because in those days they were the only ones who could read. So you know information is vital. And it's no surprise that when you have a Fox State news dedicated to dumbing down the voters on behalf of Trump And his fellow Republican con artists and hypocrites. You get people who are so dumb. They're willing to vote for a guy who's trying to take away their health care during the greatest public health crisis in a century. Steve in Florida, this is an on I'm sorry. This is Carla on the undecided line. Adam, Missouri. Good morning. You're next. Hello. Are you there? Yes, ma'am. Oh, I want to be. That's the beat. That lets you know you're on the air. Oh, thank you about Ideal love. See Stan Thomas e spent junkie. You're just about the last hope for Manti. Far above concerned. I have two points and I'll try to be brief. The first is about the virus. The one thing that I don't see mentioned anywhere areas if you'll recall. Clear back in January February, this virus landed and nobody, including fire just did not know much about it. This whole three bombs to us on the part of the scientist, the politician, the doctors they have evolved at Lee learned more and you know from this has forced reports almost every day. On television. They kept changing the response to it. So I think people need to think about that. I don't think that I'm not very particular. I haven't decide. But I think what? We're not looking at this Carol. We keep learning more and more becoming developing new of of treatment for So I think people need to just be patient. The second point is Oh, um, I wish both parties would put their platform for work. You don't really see a platform from either side. Vitals. They have a list of things they want are going to work long. We get these vague ideas and vague promises. I'm really getting tired of it. Thank you Loved the man NY. Thanks, Carl. Adam, Missouri. This is Barbara out of Florida. That line for those who support the Trump Pence. Take it. Go ahead. Thank you. I would like people to think back to remember Isis cutting heads off every day. We saw it on TV. You don't see that anymore. Do you remember the illegals at the border? It looked like a savage in thousands of people rushing our border. Do you see that anymore? No. Do you see my people working? Yes. You see, kind of illegals in Democratic Sanctuary state? Yes. Did the Democrats care about this? No. You see us paying less for NATO to send in their countries? Yes. I can't believe that thing's that Biden has gotten away with. He's taken so much money from China, his son or investigated in the Ukraine. I saw him on TV talking saying, Well, I had the prosecutor fire that was looking into my son's affairs. I was holding up American money. So the Ukraine until he was quiet and he was fired. And it goes on and on. Trump tells the truth. Investigate it yourself sunk a minute. Just think about the headroom cut off by Isis every day virtually gone now, thanks to shop That's Barbara in Florida. On the issue of the Trump Administration, the U. S and Coalition fight against Isis. Here's more from Vice President Mike Pence last night. A programming update on C SPAN radio. We're standing by to take you live to Capitol Hill.

"That Thursday evening and so that gives bears fans something to be excited about denture base and has been a a very solid contributor whenever he's been out of the field and you know he he he goes back to the days with that John fox brought him over after being very familiar with Brian during his days with him in Denver so much of a thin it when he's on the field he is a playmaker years old still lots of football left them and feel free to find a couple six rounders like Danny Trevathan fund goes in the fourth round and all your lower rounds if if you get a couple players like that right facial do you'll be doing well for yourself he's Brian Hanley I'm Jeff Miller three one two three three two three seven seven six if you'd like to talk about NFL free agency what the bears should do at the quarterback position or just in general but how you're filling the void these days without the sports to watch right now though let's head out to talk with Arthur Arkush of pro football weekly and I ask him Hey Arthur what's going on man what do you think about the bears moved to a lack of Danny Trevathan yeah I thought good morning because it's going to be on with you hope everyone's well I thought it was a good movie eyes as it was the money maybe surprised me just a little bit I thought maybe closer to I thought if I get a Max out at about ten million guaranteed but given that you said the availability questions but I thought it was a good decision because after you release parts of the car a couple weeks ago really establish veteran leader in our locker room and experience starter I think that the credit on the prospect of having to move out of your basement to was pretty daunting you know that's a young group huge voice you'd be creating both on the field in a locker south I think it's great to have him back I do agree that he should still have plenty of you know of tread left on the tires on there without injury last year nothing with that lower body that should really affected speed and explosion which is still his hallmark and in again yeah he's a really an influential player around Halas hall in addition to what he brings on the field south good to have him back but there's no doubt you know they don't have a ton of of wiggle room here financially so it'll be interesting to see whether there is a a domino effect here we're still not quite sure about Leonard Floyd in the thirty million dollar price tag and obviously there's still a lot of questions that what they do at the quarterback position which is that the biggest issue facing them this offseason so how are you reading the QB position Arthur because Ryan pace you know seemingly was selling Mitch again and and and basically sound like they're sticking with them but now again smoke as stern as structurally starting to rise here with the idea of Derek Carr or Nick Foles or whomever it may be to come in and at least compete for that job which what which scenario you find at this point yeah I think that's still the most realistic been Ario hearing aids unaffordable free agent that doesn't cost them draft capital someone like Marcus Mariota or case Keenum Andy Dalton depending on what they can work out with the Bengals he's not free right now but I have about as much of a chance of earning seventeen million dollars well you know they got to do something radically drafting job or other stuff that than having him there at least at that price tag so those are kind I I get the order hike if you think pointing out I do think folding car are kind of your you know that they're they're sort of dream scenario in this off season for the bears possible yeah very unlikely to happen it would take a really creative trade to get that pulled out of Jacksonville and even if Oakland is all in on on someone like you know like short of love we we saw reports of the athletic last night what do you got a quarterback potentially with one of their first round or if they still have the bears ticket nineteen it remains to be seen whether they want to plug him in right away or potentially hold on to power its contract not awful it's so bizarre because as the Oakland you know seemingly has fallen out of love with Derek Carr he played pretty well last year that he was their problem at all had career numbers pretty much across the board south it might just be kind of he and a and Jon Gruden struggle to kind of you know quite nice to get along together so I would like their car yeah I really would but if you make a move like that you know selling Mitch Trubisky that you're not doing that anymore so it's going to be fascinating but I just wondered I wouldn't make too much of what we've heard publicly in the in the two opportunities we've had a chance to chat with Ryan pace Mitch Trubisky we'll know soon obviously by their actions what they really feel about what are the conditions that is the voice of Arthur Arkush you can read him I'm pro football weekly does a great job covering the bears and the entire NFL I'll let me correct myself too as they give out the terms that hit Danny Trevathan contract actually said it was a four year deal I was looking at his previous contract with the bears I thought I had a run but I didn't I was reading from Google silly me so that way today than actually signed a three year deal which could be worth a maximum of twenty four million so obviously when you're less but similar money for the first time he signed with the bears our third does survey things signing seal the fate of net quick kowski here in Chicago I gather there there's there's no doubt about that because he's gonna probably get the last second third highest inside linebacker contract in free agency behind Corey little thin AT Christian Kirksey it's probably gonna push upward of like nine to ten million annually great for him I mean just an awesome story I cannot tell you how many of us it I know I did but I was not alone were actually wondering whether because you're gonna make the final fifty three last summer I did yeah I know it sounds nuts it you know it's been a really good special teamer in that you know a a passable kinda injury felon unfortunately had that kind of work in that role too often with your day to day issues but the stripes he may lack these and I used a probably one of the more improved player anywhere in the league much less time with their style he has earned the right to cash and he is going to I don't know that the team that signed him and get the real thrilled about it a couple years from now because I think you still have a little bit border shell but yeah he's not coming back here and the you know the upshot is that this is the best number to the obvious that it's just that you know snap their ten year drought of no compensatory picks them it's pretty funny if you think about just the similarities of Adrian a method and a quick copy and now they're gonna have a chance that you know started you streak with these topics by letting click out the lock in in re signing your date themselves we'll see where he lands I think the Packers are definitely in play I know that for sure the Philadelphia Eagles I'm pretty sure in play a couple other teams is well will be and I'm not a quick copy ability where it ends up but yeah they're gonna have to basically say thank you for your for your contributions than that about the law also we were talking about earlier and and you alluded to it okay so they have roughly twenty two and a half twenty three million dollars in free agent money to spend about twenty three or twenty two point seven less than the average in the we get this point now the CBA gets a pass tonight by the Players Association doubt that the cap will go up but it will go up for everyone so percentage wise are probably they'll be looking the same kind of money how do you allocate that if you're Ryan pace the young quarterback I I simply going to draft a tight end you gonna sign one as well arm I think they could sign someone else I don't think they're going to be real strong players for an off the record you just gonna get silly money and we saw one hundred get tagged by the Chargers after that so that that really make that offer new birth Arianna fight at the prime of their career who are are really going to reset the market the bears are the team that's gonna be able to do that maybe a lower tier guy someone like us I retire after give just one name that's been thrown out obvious that the laser or cultures here now it would be a dice roll of course because of Eifert injury history as well but I I remember they they signed to major keris already they do like him the former chief who had a lot of experience the bat thank you system was cut by the Browns with smart decision because the aid that won't affect the story formula next year in B. you can experience he's got some production which they were obviously lacking it bought last year so maybe a lower tier free agent I do expect them to draft one I think call come back in the second round could make sense if it aligns and then they're going to need some online help certainly that was the the biggest stock disappointed on this team outside image last year they need to right guard whether they decide they want to try and sign autographs one will be but I would expect authenticity to focus now I mean it just poured more money into this the fact that got by far the most expensive linebacking corps in the league they've got one of the most expensive secondaries in the league I mean just follow the money at all and he finds out they got to do something a quarterback and then as you mentioned yeah they got a upgrade tied on and off on line they still need speed at wide receiver but this is a terrific track to find that stuff wouldn't bite me all day wait until a lot later on next month we print them trying to draft some kind of skill speed and how they can ask about Arthur as we let you go Brian are going to tackle the NFL CBA in the vote coming down tonight what is your anticipation of what the vote will lead us to and just your thoughts on the idea of the owners imposing a ten year deal I'm glad that I made right yeah it's I'll tell you what every time I talk about the TV every time I read or hear about the P. D. F. like Anne shower after work yeah it just it does leave the bad feeling for me I feel like the players again posed here again you know this urgency to get it done a year early seven o'clock and turn around and re negotiate new TV contract is that it doesn't sit well with me are are there new games in this in this proposed deal for the player well yeah certainly but with an extra game they're being asked to play again Hey in just I don't know not enough game there's no changes to the franchise tag or you look you weight scale anything like that even the disciplinary process with Roger Goodell you still going to have the final word even with all of the the black eyes as well because the door over the past decade a lot of it is amazing to me but left when it's billionaires versus millionaires than in the billionaire's can't afford a work stoppage because their their you know their their maximum earning power so short it's pretty hard to find a perfect deal so I expected to get to get passed and and then you know they're locked in for ten years as the fleet continues to just start to explode south those are my feelings on it but I do expect it to get done I'm sure it's going to be close but it's hard to think that one I'll leave you back later great breakdown Arthur we appreciate it we will be reading at pro football weekly and following on Twitter at Arthur Arkush thanks man yeah everybody got together we got that yet you thank you do the same as well we will let you hear what the bears best playmaker thinks of the new CBA next ESPN one thousand Chicago's home for sports when the bears drafted Stan Thomas Thomas the offense of linemen first round pick right after the Super Bowl Wilber Marshall talking eighty six draft with what you're asking but I'm just saying I'm giving you I was born in eighty five so I don't know what I'm saying we have that dedicated to memory cap thank you miss something what makes a thank let me let me see it was for caskets out yeah.

"Help. Bring STAN Thomas home. T H, O, MIS, S dashes between the words and hopefully a call out today, we'll be of help province. Really appreciate it. Thanks for. Time. Let me just ask one it one last medical question, do the physicians there, Italy think that his Marlow treatment, or the myeloma itself has anything to do with the severity of his condition right now? Absolutely. I mean, the myeloma treatment awhile, emission clearly has about the system and it makes it difficult for him to in any of that. True. Bacterial infection? There's no infection so it's really repairing repairing the lungs, I think. Yep. Big issue kids numbers. Good blood cell counts, or at least at the level, it's either saw from his latest reports prior, which will vary recent. Well, so we, you know, we take every bit of good news to be just what that is. So for him in the best shape. She can be the fights it, but he's got a long way to go. And we just want to get him home and getting help, they get him back to a family. We have four children, one, others, three stuck in LA younger, you know, they need their dad, and, and their mom, and he has to be fifty here in Italy. They don't have this. And anything anyone can help with my heart. My heart is full Corp for everyone this reached out, and well, it's. All right. Well, congratulations on having that support. And we will say prayers, and keep pumping the information so we can get the sport needed to get him home. Thank you so much. Rob appreciate it. Thank you. You've got our number's eight hundred two two two five two two two again, it is upcoming Memorial Day. And this is if you want to be part of this chance to give back to somebody who was given to us and their service of a disabled, marine with both of my Loma, the, you know, Bobby the everything a little bit about healthcare reform and stuff. That's sort of in the vapors these days and I know his insurance will not cover the transportation. Well, they're they're position isn't medically necessarily, what can be rendered that can't be. And by the way, even then they probably get them as far as like Nova Scotia or something, right? Is is the, the cost benefit. I mean it sounds like he's in a place where he's getting the treatment that he needs. Yeah. I, I don't want to. I didn't want to step on that too much. I was sort of, if you notice I was suggesting that because patients shouldn't be moved even in the bed, they when they move around, they decide trait, we call that. And so this move is not a trivial move. But then she told us about three kids at home and. A lot a lot at issue here. Right. And, and if they really if the people there really believe he's stable enough, that's actually a really good sign thinking about people don't hear but that much the public very much, but that's how people dived ammonia central right? The lungs, you're sort of overtaken by these inflammatory processes. Isn't it that those inflammatory fluids that flood into the lungs are actually the body's response to the virus? Correct. And it's it's inflammatory that gets out of control and it gets out of control feels the lungs, and then you've got to survive that, right? And as somebody who had a twenty one eight is I was about ten years ago, and it was it is this words came out of my mouth that I've never imagined speaking before my wife which was taken to the emergency room. I gotta go, this is this something is really wrong. And I handled the Monja to with it in, and I get, you know, if I'd had my Loma treatment, or something, how that could have easily blow them. Something far far worse, and it was so intense that that's what my, my wife to say that was too much to something else going on. You must get a physical specialist for my blood pressure, but get a physical and that is what led to my diagnosis, prostate cancer. Wow. So that was her instinct that turned out to be right. And the instincts of a couple other doctors to pursue a little further things that weren't seeming, quite right. But even though either. The whole I'll try to talk them out of it, and tell them I'd come back in six months. They can retest don't react. So if. And now I'm getting then I'm getting a prostate biopsy, and then I've really pissed in then it go diagnosis, so right? I was wrong. And that's why you don't take care of yourself. The great example physicians do not take care of themselves. You can't use your objective instincts. The way they are trained to be used when you were thinking about yourself or your family, period. Eight hundred two two five two to a phone number babushkas in here with us in leeann.

"You. During the movie, but she and placate see, for you just say Alexa, enable the KABC AM skill okay? Here's seven ninety KABC. It. Their lively green out. Today in this story. I thought it'd be appropriate for Memorial Day caught my attention. I wanted to give them a chance of what's going on. We all want to give back to our to those that have served us. And here's a story that will boy will stand out for years. They did for me have joining us, Robyn Thomas and Steve Thomas and Robin briefly. Tell us the story. Hi, thanks for having us on. Yes. My, my husband and I living now in Los Angeles has been is a former and I guess it's never a Marine Corps officer had battled of multiple myeloma much by in the last fifteen years. We left Los Angeles for a trip of a lifetime. Brought twenty fifth wedding anniversary in France had a lovely couple of days and moved on to Italy for Italy. And he denied of our anniversary became ill with a. Nausea and stomach virus. We had a doctor on the sending end at the hotel, and he did not. Much better onto the kid landing point for them. On may nine g. Florence and here he stayed for. Hey days, working out those issues. And unfortunately became had some difficulties breathing and developing, though, yet and the H one in one point, two says the last nine days, he's been in the care at a hostel important simply. On intimation today. Shen only thing working for the last three days. Nonstop, Steve, his twin brother flew over my son to other as well say. Company walking try and get him transported home, the for in. What is it is very dangerous for travel, you wear that. Yes, you said we've been as a working with doctor here trying to get a air transport and medical air transport. It's a, it's a for people are listening to air is essentially. Amongst other thing. It's a complication sepsis and ammonia where the lung sacs, which is where oxygen exchange exchange becomes essentially filled with inflammatory fluid. And so you can't and even moving patients around in bed can create changes in their ability to oxygenated. So it's a rather desperate thing is he doing okay in terms of his ability to oxygenated presently. You know, all Goshen they oxidation. Thank you. It's hard to pronounce. It's been on the mechanical. No, that's his that's his that's, that's his actual mechanical breathing. But the ability to deliver oxygen is the percentage of oxygen and deliver through that. And if you're at the highest level eighty to one hundred percent you're a at risk of damaging the lung from all the oxygen and be you can't there's nowhere else to go really except the something called PI, which is sort of, again the technical thing. Understanding, and clearly we would we have language barriers with the physicians mini obsessions here, main vision, speak, Serey, clearing wish is that his he he's receiving the auction that if necessary, not had any other top among is in any of his other organ. Good. Okay. That's a good sign. Visteon is that he is eligible and, and he for him to be transferred. I have to take a break. I gotta take a break, but tell us just tell us about the gofundme. I have thirty seconds. Yeah, my friends, family will worldwide we have to go find me going bring STAN Thomas home, and we've had up to over forty thousand dollars off of its flight that we're looking getting them on is north of one hundred K, so we're working without and working diligently trying to get an appeal with our insurance to cover that flight. Stay with the stick with the go fund me. I think that's probably more fruitful. More fruitful way on your halfway there pretty much so good for you. So go fund me dot com slash help. Bring stand Thomas. Home hyphenated with each we're talking to Rama Thomas about her husband, who's, of course, a marine officer who developed H one, one while in Italy. And then terrible complication. We've got to bring him home. I had h one n one. That's what led to my diagnosis of prostate cancer. I'll tell you my story. The second eight hundred two two two five to two phone number. Leeann tweeden out, babushka, and help me out, Dr drew midday live AM, seven hundred KABC..

"So being a board member, not only do they pay you, but you're responsible to pay them or their creditors. If they go belly up. So what does it to be doctor on the board of twelve different companies? Meanwhile, the hospital, he's making one point five million dollars being the chief medical officer determining what kind of chemotherapies drug so used in what all the other hundreds of other doctors are giving. He has control over the doctors to drugs, the, the atmosphere in the hospital, and meanwhile he's on the board of twelve companies and what does he get into trouble the hospital put him into trouble wasn't even patient? And put in trouble, it was review by the New York Times that found that when he wrote medical articles. Supposed to say that there's a conflict of interest that he's getting money from a drug company while he writes about that drug. So a drug company, right? Makes drug X. And he writes the scientific article about drug X he supposed to say that he has a conflict of interest in these getting money from the company. Well, the Stockton was probably to shame to do it. And in fact, eighty or ninety percent of the articles that he wrote he didn't write he had the conflict. He didn't even write. He had a conflict when he was the editor of the journal. It's heard cases. He was the editor of the journal hit us articles in the journal, he knew the bylaws of the journal that he was obliged to talk about the conflict, and even when he was the editor making the laws of the journo and supposedly, causing other doctors to follow those laws. He didn't do it himself. And so what does that mean if says, I'll drug X? Oh, fantastic wealth. He writes out at the bottom, I worked for the company that makes ex. It makes you think about a different way. So this is a doctor a big scandal. He just lost his job. One of the biggest cancer doctors in New York chief, medical officer Mickey may and half dollars in the hospital. Millions more for drug companies on twelve boards not writing about this conflict of interest, and what is this? Dr do let's say, for example, he's the chief medical officer directing care to hospital making a million half dollars getting three million dollars from these sports and other monies, which are not even reported the only gets money reported if the company makes drugs that are being commercial used if they're not being commercially used he doesn't have to report those relationships or that income. And then you come in as a patient and say, you come in, like this woman, the woman, I talked about the colon cancer spread to the liver, and you get two years of came on not working it never worked. Why are they keeping on giving chemotherapy or they keep giving chemotherapy because it's the right thing to do? Or the giving chemotherapy because there's other motives, if they're giving chemotherapy, this made by companies have relationship with the tell the patient. Hey, by the way, you should know that this drug acts, which is not working you. I worked for the company that makes drug X and this is what the whole scandals about. And it turns out, it's not only him even the CEO of the, the super duper big place, making six point seven million dollars. If you have questions about me being offensive about it go look, the New York Times, articles by Ornstein OR, and STAN Thomas. T. H. O. M. A. S. The chief of the hospital is getting six point seven million dollars, and he has relationships to he has relationships with drug companies also. Wow. Just endless endless, what's going on here. And what seems to be the issue is patients who want to get better? I think patients want to get better, no matter what they don't want to have conflicts. They don't want a doctor giving drug because they work for the company or they.
