Have you done it? The delta 8 9. I put it as a stocking stuffer in base stocking. Yeah, but do you do it? Yeah, I've done it before. Why? It's legal. Is it good? Yeah, it helps you. No, it just relaxes you. Ours is weaker. The one that they sell in Vegas is hard to come by and that. But the one that they sell here just makes you relax and chill and sleep. I think it's just so important when taking a look at this run line is taking a look at the home and road splits. Greg bederson is not normal. Instead of having a life, he spends his nights going through countless stats and systems. This was in spite of which I wound up saying guardians at a minus one 52 on the money line on the baseball betting show. Greg goes through every game on the slate and gives you his betting analysis. I do think that the braves should be right right about a minus one 80 ish favorite. I was sending it more on minus one 65 and 8 or one side be looking in and over. Did you smoke any black and mild on the video shoot this weekend? No, dude, tell us about the video shoot. Do we show up? Where's the clip? Gosh, dang it, I ain't got access. I don't worry, I'll sing it. Yeah, it was a banger. It was legit. Sprinter van from Nashville all the way to the border. Do you guys have an orgy? No. Abby was in there with it with me, bazer, one of our other friends, Amanda Dodd, and then the driver. And how did it go? You show up the driver, you know, experience driver. Wait, driver or Dodd. Drivers like 23 years old, I don't even know if he ever driven it. But we decided instead of the sprinter vehicle, let's just take Dodd's Nissan. So we all packed in there, had all the coolers and stuff. It was only an hour and a half drive. It got there, dude, second we got there. It was a list. The film crew was already there. Film crew, dude, it was a legit production. I'm telling you, there's videos on CMT that aren't as good as this one. Really? Oh, dude, they had drones, every kind of camera angle. Dude just taking pictures stills of us. I had one dude. I didn't even know who he was. How much this cost? Thousands. I don't want to see bills. I taught Dodd asked me beforehand. So how does dod pay for all this crap? You got sponsored. So we got a sponsor. For $2500, he got a sponsor. Well, he set thousands. Maybe he got more involved. Okay, but listen, when you're hiring a film crew in drones and all this, it has to be more than $2000. We had a $1 million boat driving tims Ford Lake, which is miles and miles to get to party cove. It must have been a thousand just in gas. But I feel like Dodd is such like a businessman where he says stuff like, hey, man, you got a camera on you. All right, dude, your program, right? Hey, next song, what's your name? Ted, all right, next song I write, I'm gonna put your name in the song. All right, cool. Good trick. Boom. No. $1 million boat. He did the seltzer trade, so we mentioned volley, so we had all these volley seltzers. Volleys the one that gave us the hell is volley seltzer. It's a seltzer. I never heard of it. Well, it's new tequila base. Okay. And so there's kids on bravo now that are advertising for it. We're advertising for it. It's a Young Bucks are trying to do it. But what I learned is the late community, they do it all for free and stuff like that. So there'd be other one guy doing a boat. He's like, oh yeah, I owed this other the movie producer. He's like, I owed him one man. He drove to Tampa and videoed me, so I owed him one. So he brings his $1 million boat over for free. So it's favors. The late community, you think our community on the show is strong. Due to the late community, they are blood thick. Really? Yeah, and I learned that they are gnarly tight. So you're saying blood and blood out. Hey, so like, can one soak in one boat owner bang the other boner's wife and then be like, hey, you know what I'm saying? It's all good. I don't think so. But I borrowed your wife. I borrowed your but I mean, their bankers, they sell houses, they got kids running around everywhere, but you had kids in the video? No. The kids were there, but they were chilling on the dock. All right, so the whole cruise is. But do tims Ford Lake, apparently everybody's going there. We have the lakes around Nashville. Those aren't popular anymore. Everybody I've heard of Tim's for. Alan Jackson just dropped a spot. Everybody's moving to this Lake because DNR owns a lot of it, so they can't put houses on the entire Lake. So you see tons of forest. You think you're out in the middle of nowhere. There's a $1 million houses on this Lake. You know, Lake and Coney, for example, Eric said, there's houses all around it. Like LBJ, there's houses all around. No houses around our lakes. There's not, not a person. Then we do the same thing, but there are waters prettier. It's a golden, it's a gem. It's golden. Out in the middle of nowhere, everybody's flocking to. How long did it take? How long did the video shoot last? That's what I needed to start at 10 a.m. and went till 11 p.m.. Okay, so after about

"Sprinter van is the van for the job. He is one of the best in the business and I meant what I said when I tweeted out this weekend, watching him play against the Arizona Cardinals that the league's better when he's up and he's active and he's balling out. The man who helped create a national tight end day, the tight end of the San Francisco forty-niners joining us prior to the Monday night are huge one for both teams against the rams the great George kittle. How are you, George? Rich. Wow. Thanks for the intro. I'm excited to be here. How's it going? Well, we threw it. I mean, that's so good. I'm excited back playing football in the last couple of weeks, being out of it tough. But I just felt good to be back out there in front of a great fans and playing with the boys again. We didn't get the dub and it wasn't the game that we wanted to play. So disappointed in that. But I'm optimistic too. We had to play on Monday Night Football and this Allen last year, so I'm very excited. I get an opportunity to play again the only game of the day on Monday Night Football. So very optimistic. Okay. And so what do you lend to the three and 5 star, the reason for it? Is there one? Is there something that you guys are talking about on this front that you want to just throw out there right now? I mean, to me, I think we just need to play better. That's all it is at the end of the day when you look at the tape of every single game that we've lost. And even the games that we've won, I just don't feel like we've played at the level that the standard that we've set, you know, I know we have a couple guys that are playing a consistent on a higher level. I mean, I need to elevate my game. I think, you know, I think everybody can just play a little bit better. You just look at it, whether it's drops. I mean, I had a bad fumble and you got a bad fumble. And said our defense up for failure. So just, hey, you got to eliminate those mistakes against ourselves a chance because we're not even doing that. Coaching hands call him plays, give us opportunities. And we're just not really taking advantage of those things. And so I really just think it's, at the end of the day, we just need to play, but you could say focus on the little things and go back to work. But we haven't worked and I think we've had a lot of really good practices and we've got to get the correlate to the game. And I'm excited about that like I said, you know, Monday Night Football. We have a whole nation looking at you to wonderful time to get the boat on the right direction. Yeah, that's right..

They went to dick's sporting goods with amazon and website and Yeah out of everything we had so that was a high quality problem but it was a real problem right when you're when you're revenue something good zero doesn't matter why like ran out of stock. You're still not showing anything and so that was a real challenge all year long with the supply chains coming out of china and you know even the dominican republic wages where we manufacturer stuff were came to a grinding hall and mel huge bat walks. Which they're still trying to figure out. Honestly there's still no. We still are Finding finding a difficult yet rubber you know so so are straight just launched the bandits which which were the product of Tinkering on in my garage and were sold out of all that stuff and now we've got a back. "Mc waters Look i'm not a doctor. I'm trying my best year. Okay and I really wanna help people with their problems and the first one is michael in malaysia. Hey paul it's michael calling from for malaysia I just want to say thanks to you. devon cody. Jim jason April everybody on the team. You guys are awesome and have given me a lot of laughs over the years. So i appreciate it. I have over request in question if your mind I the request I could use one those famous tall john pep talks My family and i have been living in malaysia for a bit over seven years now and we're preparing to move back to california. I've never lived in la. That's where we're going to be but I'm a little nervous. We had young kids and just got the reverse culture shock of it. So i could use some of That magic. If you could give me some give me pumped up. I know there's plenty to like. Disneyland is all that stuff and the reason we're moving home. Our parents are getting old and not doing too well during the pandemic so we want to be closer to them. We haven't been home in a few years so looking forward to it but a little nervous And then my question is. I don't know if i mentioned that. I have six young daughters. And i mean the need and eight passenger vehicle. I know you're a big fan of the pacifica We've been on the people So do you wanna try to convince me to go with the pacific over the odyssey Does it pacific even come with an eight passenger version You sell it to me if if you think it's worth it but That's all i got. Thanks again and Hopefully and catch a live show. I got. That's what four to at least okay cheers. Thanks first of all michael. You are awesome. I love it and congratulations. You're moving to la. And i hear what you're saying. I hear what you're saying about culture shock and god damn it. I'll be Freaked out to you. Have eight kids you have. No you have six kids You're bringing a virtual you know a brady bunch over here which is a great place to be because the breach actually took place in california. So things are working out Here's what i'll say. Kids are incredibly resilient. California is an interesting place. I don't know where you're moving exactly in california even in l. a. But you will find your people you will find your spot And your kids will find their people and they will find their spot All i will say is this l. a. Hesitancy to be a lonely city so you do need friends so at what i would recommend as a parent is to make sure your kids push through that awkwardness of not wanting to go and do things and meet people and get involved early so they can kind of form this peer group but there is so much great stuff out here. Forget it forget about restaurants. Everybody loves a restaurant but you got six kids. You're not going out to eat all the time. Let me tell you what i love about. La it's something that i love to say. I love about la. But i don't often take advantage of. But sometimes i do when i do. I go why. Am i not doing this all the time you can drive to the mountains you can drive to the beach you can go for a very long driving and then go to amazing places. You can go for Well i mean. I guess that's true everywhere. You dick log driving end up in a different spot but i mean you are close to fun things like las vegas and seattle and oregon and depending where you are in california's san francisco or san diego or you could even go down to t one of their so many options here Just for a change of pace and scenery end to answer your second question if you are having a change of pace in a change of scenery You gotta go in the crisis pacific. Oh this is all. I know that you have to be in the chrysler. Pacifica because when i googled eight passenger minivan the first thing that came up was the pacifica. I don't know of the odyssey has usb ports. I don't know that the odyssey has a chance for one person to be watching a blu ray and the other person to be watching live streaming entertainment. Yes let me talk about plugs. They have more plugs than you need a couple years. They got him. Let me talk about a vacuum in the car. it's there let me talk about comfort. You can recline those backseats when you're put in the way way back. It's actually pretty damn comfortable. I love the pacifica. The only downside. I'm going to be very honest with you. The only only downside i would say is the sight lines of shit the sight lines suck ass But i'm also thinking you should get like a sprinter van like a mercedes. Sprinter van and i know that you mercedes but that's expensive but hear me out this thing. You can have a full on party in there. The other one that would recommend. I know you're a honda. Odyssey person toyota sienna. Toyota sienna is equally good. But i gotta say if you want that little bit of luxury and you got six kids so treat yourself get yourself that pacifica. It is the best car on the market. It's comfortable it's nice. People love it. people envy it. I'm stopped at my preschool. People want to look at it and they show it to him. I show with them with pride. I love it so much. And i want you to know michael. You're going to be great. You and your wife are going to accomplish everything you need to do out here. You're gonna have fun you're gonna take and drive in movies. You are going to Go for trips..

"Sprinter van. Which is on youtube videos on. This is carpentry site Be photographing the exteriors. The number of houses in a shop interiors twelve years ago. Because like i said. I've learned so much in twenty years. I've learned that one of the goals is to help people understand looking looking at a mantelpiece case working terrier home. What the exterior style of the home would be or looking at the exterior style of a home. What should the interior style look like. And so i want to capture that but exterior photographs and there's a few other homes. Did i learn about that. I also wanna photograph to add to the book to fill in areas that twenty years ago. I didn't recognize for so important. And so they'll be to trip. I'll be taking early winter next year early early spring weather next year. Nice visiting a lot of the way. It sounds like a lot of fun and you are self described as semi retired. Is there anything else that gary katz is doing in his semi-retirement i- fishing. I put a lot of the magazine. Heartened jury a lot of into the road show and like all of us when we're younger debts that i was like the horse with the blinders on you know. Do this do this do this. Do this not recognizing and not taking time during those all at work to really appreciate being alive now the miracle of of and the joy of the experience itself no alive and and that's my focus now on like i am. I'm semi retired to the point. Where i still working definitely working on my place. You see videos crazy stuff. I'm doing but I still working but mostly working on myself. I guess i have to say. "Hit the road like throw mattress in a cooler in there and build as you go like billed as you make money. There's so many ways to do it. You just don't need. I and this is coming from someone who does have a really nice build and i know that i was lucky to have my dad's friend be contractor and him no and electricians so well And so yeah. I mean also work your connections. I guess is my second thing like if you do know anybody like get them pizza if you ask them for help get buy them some beer and pizza every day that you guys are working. Pay them anything that you can. You know it's a good friend like just do what you can for that person in obviously negotiate beforehand. So they don't feel like they're getting gypped or whatever but you just do not need a fancy belt if you do want a nicer quote unquote van Personally i have a ford transit van with that ex partner of mine was a cheaper sprinter. You can't get like old sprinters because they started making them in early two thousand and so you can get a cheaper one but the cheaper ones fall apart at the seams. There's nothing holding them together. I do not like sprinters. I'm highly anti sprinter. Because i lived in one and there were so many problems with it and every time you need to get work done you almost always have to go to a sprinter dealership. You can go to a sprinter certified mechanic. They're few and far between and when you're traveling in the middle of los alamos new mexico which is where i was. When i i was broke down there was no sprinter certified mechanic there. If you're primarily in san diego you've probably got one but like if you're traveling no and so we go to the nearest dealership which you have to go two hours away and it was like a ten thousand dollar fix. You can't finance that you have to pay them. I mean we're just giving credit card after credit card trying to get like i mean this is our car. It's our house. It has all of our things like we needed that van back and so we had to give them everydollar that we possibly could and ever sit like as soon as that happened. We got back in the van and every time there was a creek or a noise or anything we were like. Oh my god. Oh my god. Is this going to happen again. And it was just constant anxiety and so with the ford transit. I mean knock on wood. I've not had a single issue. It's a ford. So parts are from the united states which just means they're cheaper and they're more easily accessible. Sprinters are a european vehicle. If you don't know and so things often have to come from germany. Which means you're staying at a hotel for weeks and they're just wildly expensive and so ford and the dodge pro master are both better options than the sprinter. Personally i like the transit. Because i know this is like nitty gritty details. So if you're not interested in this. I'm sorry i'll go over briefly but like the rear axle of a pro master is like dang near dragging on the ground. So if you plan on off roading bit it might be more difficult But there's still a lot more budget friendly than a sprinter and you can just get a lot newer pro master and transit. Then you can a sprinter and when you get an older sprinter because you're on a budget it's going to fall apart even like general maintenance like i have a few friends who have like. It's kind of funny. They've just always sworn by sprinters they had sprinters and they're like no no no. We love as long as you take care of. It does phenomenally. And i'm like okay. What what does it take take care. Take care of that van. And they're like. I mean you just have to go in every five to ten thousand miles. You give a thousand to three thousand dollars for general. I'm driving across the country constantly. You mean to tell me. I need to pay two thousand dollars. Every time i drive across the country and the thing is when you don't have to do that why would you do that. Transit doesn't require that at all. Like i get a forty dollar oil change. I get brake pads and done by literally any mechanic. I can come across and you're good to go so it's just unnecessary. And why i mentioned those two friends is because both of those friends. This summer sold their vans and got transits. So i don't think they're in as in love with the sprinter as they claim to be this real talk that we need and this is why i love having people in the podcast because again knowing not that much about ban lifelike like being around it having friends who do it you know this and that most people there i call or protocols sprinter vans because yeah they're cool and there you see him on instagram and there one hundred thousand dollars and i have a buddy who has one hundred thousand dollars. Sprinter van is it awesome. Of course it's awesome. It's one hundred thousand dollars. It better be awesome. And so i. I love hearing that. Because there's so much people just wouldn't be able to figure out until they were in it and you being able to say hey if you're on some sort of budget you're gonna have to get an older one in older ones not gonna be great 'cause like you mentioned everyone that i know that love's sprinters has a lot of money or is invested a lot of money to have a new one and okay. That's it's like buying a new car or a new house. Probably not gonna break for the first five years that that bad but then what you know and yeah i never met anyone who had an older sprinter. Like one as old as you did. So it's good to hear the real dirt. Nice it's the real t. I'm telling you right now just to just avoided at all costs. It's fine even with the newer sprinters. They just require a lot more maintenance. Which like you said. They're phenomenal looking. Vans like when. I first got my transit. I was like oh i just wanna sprint her. Because that's what the cool kids have and then like now fast forward to over two years in my transit. I'm like yeah transit life. although way i'm not messing with no sprinter anymore not happening love it all right well. Let's keep the real talk going. What are the worst parts of van life. that people wouldn't think of. There's probably things like yeah. You think this might kinda suck and and it does. But what are the things that you're you never would have imagined being like.

"Troubleshooter 33713 talks 7138255, according to Osh. Ash took his Mercedes sprinter van Two Mercedes bends of Westminster. And he said it wasn't starting. Has 287,000 oaks is 210,000 Miles, and they told me I need a new engine. So he had it replaced. He had problems after spending 17 grand on a new engine. And they told him not to come back. Now. Did you have words with them or something? Did they say you were rude? Why did they tell you not to come back? So here's the thing. Um There was absolutely tensions were high, right? So I thought it definitely get frustrated during there during the process because You know it took them seven weeks to do the the engine. But they did also do some recall work. There was recall work that was included. Then, after they change the engine, they came back and that it was a starter. So but, you know, he had told me the engine was done. Um, March 16th, Okay. I did not get it back for more than a month after that, after the engine has already done So all of the, um Rico work and the starter must have took that long and You know, Tom, we're small business. That man but us that's water under the bridge. What I'm asking you is why did they tell you not to come back? Because I made a complaint to corporate about some headlight damage that I noticed after I got the van back because after I got the band back, and I drove for seven miles and saw that the engine was heating up, I pulled up, uh, pulled over pop the hood and as soon as I popped the hood is whenever I notice the damage Whenever I picked up the vehicle, I was just getting out of there. I was so mad I was and throughout the process I was telling Both the representative that I was working with. And even the manager. Yes, and I apologize for getting worked up, but very stressful at that time. Well, did you yell at him? Yeah. Yeah, we had the worst day. Did you make a scene? No, I didn't make a scene. Absolutely not. We had a meeting and they you know, I can see I can see them saying if you're upset, made a complaint. Maybe it's better. You don't come back, Kevin, Who's going to do the warranty work on the $17,000 engine? Now? They told him and another Mercedes dealer would honor it. Is that right? Yes, sir. But I can't get that. But now everybody's booked out until, like, almost mid August, But let me get this straight them. You are going to still get the warranty honored right? You know? Yeah. Yeah, but he's got a business to run. It's a Mercedes. It's a Mercedes warranty. What warranty work do you need now? I think it's the engine. The engine is not working properly. So I I don't even know if it is warranty work. I should be because the scan came back and said that one of the filters was misfiring, You know? So who told you that? You probably feel it. And you can. You can get a scandal like AutoZone. We got it. Okay, So let me get so you called Westminster. Mercedes Benz of Westminster. You called To make an appointment. When did you call? Called To make an appointment. When did you call? I've been in touch with Mike. Like exactly When did they tell you? You can't come back? Um Tuesday, and that's the thing that my representative that like works with me said that I can come back and it was the manager telling me I'm not. And then my manager told you that was it. Scott Castleman told you that? Yes, sir. But while Steve was telling me to bring it in, and I'm like you guys, you need to get your stuff together because you're telling me different things and nobody was answering my calls before that. So so hold on. Are you located within a convenience, convenient distance of Westminster or you just tell me why you use them? Yeah, we're based on Nevada. Okay, the process So we're going to make a call to Scott. They have every right to tell you not to come back. If you were being a jerk. Who knows? I mean that maybe they're saying they were afraid of you. I have no idea. Oh, no. It wasn't like that. But, you know, Tom, I just want to make or they simply want to take new people's money in and not do warranty work right now. If they're that busy could be what back How do you say one thing out of the last 98 to 98 days? Our van? We have not had a van and working order for 62% of it. That's crap. Days of the day that they had that today that they had that they turned into van to them. I have text messages. I have emails, if nothing else, if nothing else. Yeah. I think they should see you because no did no other dealer or shop wants to start where they left off, Especially if they did the replacement and I do think that's kind of abandoning you. After they've installed an engine and you spent 17 grand. I'd be right. Hey, man, I'd be really pissed You don't spent. That's something you can do. In the meantime, though, you can go to fluid trucks comin rent even Here. I mean, this is our I mean, you know, I tried that, and it's like it's just Listen. Yeah. You need to put a review online, Did you? I haven't done anything but you have to. Okay. They live and die by reviews. Gosh, you need to go online to Google Yelp and whatever the other ones are And I'm telling. You know, I'm I'm not Don't just Yes, me. You literally have to go and put reviews on there. They really do care? We're going to have deputy dot call over there. We're gonna call them so hold on. If you go back in if they allow you to come back in, Are you going to behave? I imagine, um, that answer is yes. I don't know. I I got to take a break. Otherwise I'd go back into it. Somebody needs a landscaper in Wellington will talk about that. And then What about a metro district? Who's passing on costs. I'm not sure what that means coming back with that and more on the troubleshooter show to show you how easy it is to file a claim with Geico. We hired a nature show host.

"I'm Steven Seagraves. Joined by Seth Miller and foss mood. Hey guys hey so. It's a lovely Tuesday afternoon. We're recording this earlier than normal. Actually know what day of the week it is. I keep track an end. You know we have to record the show earlier. Because Seth is turning into a GRANDPA and Sunday starting to starting to do woodworking and go to bed early trump would it becomes a teacher just random side story about shop teachers I actually didn't get take shop class in high school. We sort of had one. But I I did a drafting course. Instead which turned out to be very valuable and useful to me later in life and so I'm happy I did it We I was like the last year they did paper drafting with the square and know the arm moving around and doing all by answers really cool on and then learned cad later but separate from that My wife was telling a story last night as we were talking about some of these things and I bought more tools or power tools on having the crap turns out matters a lot but she's timing the story about how she did something in shop class when she was like in middle school and hers wasn't very good but her sister who's a year younger than her came back and it was really good in much straighter lines and this and that and I'm like oh she probably is that the right the right the fence and had it all working correctly. I don't think we had that was like how could you do that? You use a table. Solid data blade without a French. So now you just held it carefully. This that's Super Dangerous. Did have missing finger cystic wait. Why get another kids ever lost fingers in Class? And maybe maybe the shop teacher lost in a different way. I don't know but just from a visual perspective in the image. You're trying to project. I don't see how that's a good idea. Not One of my which teachers told us to tell us how he'd come in on weekends with dead dear to cut them up on the we're GonNa be completely topic here for the first couple of is a friend of mine who lives in the catskills apparently China some stories about their neighbor once the stupid APP Arnold next next next door next door chats or this or that in something. Apparently someone hit a deer inside. Hey you know. Put a message on the side of the road around here. Be careful driving over there and one of the responses was like you just left it there. You didn't do anything else. Which okay fine notified the authorities like you have to tell us family? Apparently like a serious response was like wait. What family someone has to go find the family of the dead deer and let it know that mom dad is dead. I thought I thought I thought you were going to say that. They had told him to go pick it up in. Us The media. It's actually. It's actually a thing you know. I was surprised that they didn't give in where they are and whatnot. But maybe it was. Hey here's where it is if anyone wants to go picking up and eat it. It's only been a couple of hours. Probably Maga's haven't gotten to it yet. I Dunno next door is an entertaining beast. I have not far in my life avoided getting into it and I'd like to keep about if you like to read just just completely nonsense cyncical stuff and crazy neighbors. It is definitely for you. I spent a decent amount of time in my life on twitter quotient. I need man all right. So let's dive into some stories here. the first one is a propublica a article about the. Tsa over a million in ninety five masks even the airports are basically emt and TSA staffing levels down And it really doesn't need one point. Three million in ninety five masks and so this was concerns were raised back in April and You know they were saying we should donate these and people said No. We're not GONNA donate them. We're GONNA WE'RE GONNA keep them Very interesting are the. Tsa agents working at the customer facing roles wearing masks at all I think they are right at the PX. They are okay but like started masks. Not An five sir. I'm pretty sure they're surgical haven't seen in ninety five used as sort of a weird thing with just the whole and ninety five situation at those are the ones that are going to see. A product guarantee knows transmission By what you know when you ask the question like one is the goal of wearing the mask and how much of it are you trying to control? Obviously one hundred percent time for. Everyone doesn't work right because we don't have the supplies and so someone someone wanted. Today is gonNA open up a warehouse in fine wherever the government put like all the ones they hijacked from the states and from everybody else they're going to be stored somewhere but it is kind of weird and it's instead the says that CSS quietly stored many of them in a warehouse near DFW. We're paying for the warehouse space. Yeah so anyway. It's it's it was expected that this would this would last thirty days. That surplus would last thirty days for all of their security officers but did did not account for the decline in the number of officers needed lately so with air down like ninety five percent in the US. I would suspect it would last a lot longer. I would pose the question. They asked you change their staffing levels knowing them. Let's that's a good question I don't know here's the thing though forty days. That's only if you take. What are one point? Three million two hundred forty only thirty two thousand five hundred so that really don't have there's only thirty thousand thirty thousand. Tsa agents working working per day on for some number's higher. I don't know it seems low for sure and also only one master person per day. The lunch break. You gotta put it back on. The in theory is a really bad idea. Of course I've been wearing the same one for three months now so nothing. Maybe maybe some people out there who were flown have seen what the what the. Tsa agents are wearing. Just let us know. Because I mean I've only been once during all this and other than that have been getting updates on their twitter so next up so Cessna has a new plane. The Cessna Sky Career completed. Its first flight this week. New Clean Design Clean Sheet designed aircraft. Pretty Amazing thought it would never happening again. I will say it. Looks like a minivan of the sky. But it's supposed to be more many. It's supposed to be more like the Ford Transit to fifty or three fifty. Oh Yeah Yeah. That's exactly what it is East Sprinter van. Yeah somethings bolted onto top.

"So what does it? What does it actually mean to live? Live because right now. You're in Colombia. Right so you're not in the van. But what what does van let me into you so I think it means a lot. I mean people defined differently. Some people define it as like only if your fulltime twelve months a year. I'm kind of doing this. Hybrid thing where. I'm traveling half the year in the wintertime mostly in Latin America lately and in summertime. I'm going back up to Alaska and essentially living in my van so I am fulltime when I'm in Alaska. We'll get like a an AIRBNB every every mother's son until I do my laundry or maybe stay with a friend here and they're passing through somewhere but I'm pretty much fulltime while I'm up there so I would call that you know. Maybe some purists disagree but I also encountered a lot of people are up in Alaska that we're doing a little different versions lighter version. That what I was doing where they really Nice van setup. They still had a partner house and they would use it to. Do you know long weekend trips in the middle of nowhere and can use it as a like a little little getaway kind of house and they weren't doing it full time and I consider them van lifing also. So yeah. That's how I broadly defined yeah. I think so the two people that I knew who have sprinter vans or super fans are yes a part time. They're when they're going away for the weekend. Camping suitably bringing a camping tent and all that stuff kind of drive their van right and take their van and kind of do it for the weekend or or week long trips but still have a house that they're coming back to during the week and that's that's kind of like I have this longtime vision of myself having a pickup truck that I've converted in like Vaca so not like the whole thing but like a pickup truck the converted where I could drive the trail head or drive to a race and spend the night in my truck and then wake up and go do some epic adventure so I. I think that. I think it's super cool. That people live fulltime in the van. And you do for months at a time. I think that as amazing but I also think that it's a super awesome idea to just use what you have what can and converted and be able to kind of get away for the weekend. Yeah sorry when I told you that I didn't like free. Solo knows good because lived in his van cooking in their sleeping in there. Okay so that's why it's did. I see that's what I said more or less enough recorded somewhere. That guys ban life again. Yes he is. Yeah all right. So there's a whole spectrum you know like what what you were just describing Douglas into the weekend thing it's like it's kind of like glorified car camping but instead of attendance to your you got a nice little set up in the back so you know setting campaign breaking down campus where easier just go back and it can also look like it can also look very different too. I mean I don't like school. Easer thing right where. They converted a short school bus. Oh man that's kind of space so I I was in a much smaller vehicle. That would feel almost like too big if I had that much. Swear finisher what's the difference between this and normal are being where you just get an RV. That's made design with all. These bathrooms turn into kitchens and all that kind of stuff like is is. Is there a difference? Yes so now okay. So the way I I learned quite a bit about the differences as I got into a more so I kind of assumed that it was kind of all the same. Like like like you're saying And then I realized that the the The van life thing is more about being nimble and move it around a lot you know on a whim whereas when you're in this big lumbering. Rv PLAN PLAN. A lot more Book spots at a time. If you don't know the area You know parking forty eight foot vehicle small ones so my dad for example has like this printer. Sil- RV where it's still whatever classified as you still can drive it into cities on that but it's different because these in my limited view. It seems different because that you kind of pay for like all these. You know well-designed and often expensive things that that make your. I mean it sounds to me like the van. Life is more about putting together a situation from from an old then. Is that It's it's I mean you can definitely go and spend half a million dollars very well outfitted you know like you know quote Unquote Sprinter van. That's still technically a Van. But it seems to be more kind of do it yourself Kind of people and you could still sky's the limit I I've I've seen people. Have you know the soaking tubs in the back of their of their vans and hence the craziest stuff? But my mind's much more rustic kind of basic set up one day one day. Do you have aspirations for soaking? Tobin back you've been you know that's a little much I'd be happy with a bathroom and shower. Let's let's talk about the logistics because all right so if you if you were to look on instagram and look search the Hashtag or or just do some of the van life youtube videos. I mean like you said there are some people who have pimped out there and I mean just spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to get just looking really really sharp and really fancy is the average person who is living in a van. Because I know that you guys You were telling us in Colorado that sometimes you park and there'd be a bunch of other people who were had their like are most people really living that luxurious life inside of van or is it is it typically pretty basic very very basic so the the pictures you see of the really fancy ones on instagram. That's that's pretty rare. I mean I'm definitely encountering some pretty awesome vans and house roaming around in Alaska but for the most part they're pretty beat up You know people doing it on. A budget You know there's always some like rich retirees that have some brand new rig that everyone's checking out but for the most part it's it's that's not that's not the usual singer encountering the other thing that I found. That was interesting when I when I was getting into this and deciding. Do I go for a really small setup or do for bigger sprinter van? Everybody that I talked to all the videos I watched. Everyone said that they wished they had gone more basic and smaller in a there. I kind of go at it. They they took on too much and they shouldn't have you know they. They didn't show they didn't need kitchen. And all the all these other things that you think are critical so that that was like I heard that so much. They've really stuck in my head like man. Maybe I should just start with something small. Make sure that like. I don't hate this. Do it for season or to understand how. I'M GONNA I'm GonNa van life and have a better idea of what would be appropriate for me so I was really happy. I did that because Even okay so my initial plan. Before I went up there was I was going to get like a sprinter van. Like a big cargo. Van De could stand up in Puts BILL SHOWER AND BATHROOM DECENT SIZE? Little kitchen queen size bed. Everything and I ended up getting a minivan which seems like a pretty pretty big step down but I'm really glad I did because I I actually ended up outfitting. The minivan too much like within a couple of weeks started getting rid of tons of stuff. So yeah it was really. It's kind of like you guys. Were talking with my couple weeks about living in the minimalist lifestyle as you kind of get more into it you realize like I don't even like why did I buy a two burner camp stove. That's ridiculous excess. Lead one little little things like that So yeah I'm glad I went really small because I mean besides just you know being stealthy in Alaska is not really relevant. Nobody cares you can earn. Its little state as a campground just purview. On and for the most part nobody bothers you but it was really nice just nimble and small like if I had a bigger sprinter or a bigger RV. I couldn't pull him to some of the towns and just feel confident that I could find a spot that no one would bug me. That was really nice And I wasn't worried about putting gas of women. I would drive to three hours. The other side of the state to the weather was better. You know it's like I got a minivan hookers couple of gallons of gas definitely urge anyone that's thinking about doing this like you need way less than you think you do like everyone. I talked to was like. Oh I absolutely can't live without a flushing toilet. I can't live without this long list of stuff and then at the end of the day you realize like I was barely using any of these things that I thought were critical and then yeah I mean what what. My setup looked like at the end of last summer versus the beginning. It was lot less. Clutter much fewer things. Just life was a lot simpler and so on on that note as far as practical things I mean you you talked about how you we're GONNA get one to have the kitchen and all that but it does like you didn't get one has a kitchen. You're you're somebody tell you my whole setup broke. It's very very particular about food. But but so. The setup was super simple. I ended up building half a day with a buddy of mine that lives up in Alaska and just to be clear. Like I am not handy at all like I. I don't own any power tools or whatever I built a super basic a bed platform. That's you know. Raise up about eight inches and then I got some big like plastic tupperware sal bins that slide imperfectly underneath that platform. Carbonated that platform put a like a three inch thick tempur-pedic mattress on top of that and that was pretty much it. I just had a had storage underneath the entire bed which was more than enough Half of it was my food. Half was my clothes and gear and then I had a little like a cooler that Kind of wedged into the fronts behind the driver's and that was pretty much it and then You know a lot of the same kind of cooking gear that you would have. If you're camping side. Like a big seven gallon. Water Jug cooking. Camping stove miscellaneous pots and pans and That was much my whole
