"I am thankful that. I with tracking that we can draw from a pretty large pool of inventory to get by sent. If you know if there are any small mistakes made where someone's bike keeps getting delayed over and over a lot of times you know i can reach out. Someone else in the company say is is there any way he can help. Be fine this so jumping into. It has been strange and doesn't quite feel a strange to me. Because i don't have any compare it to hatch just probably a benefit that that you know. This is the normal. And then you know assuming when on the backside of this when we're out of this you're gonna be like. Oh this is actually normal and this is way easier than like brought in right and i do. I've i already feel that way now. Like it doesn't seem strange to me. But i fortunate to where like if i starting out when i first got there. If i made a mistake there was somebody there that could help me out pretty quickly In it's not some catastrophic thing. I do feel bad for a lot of the smaller shops. you know. i know it's even harder for them to get inventory. You make a mistake like that. It can be catastrophic to your business so you know it's been a a good transition for me in your right by us getting bikes now me explaining a bike. It's there already feels a little different than showing it to him on a screen. Yeah i mean. It's i got an email from a rebel and i got an email from them saying that the new access rival could be ordered on one of their frame sets now and i was like i just curious you at the pricing was then i got into a little bit of a rabbit hole. "I hope everybody is staying safe out there. I feel like things are getting a little crazy with the virus. Seems like numbers are going up like crazy and this time it feels a little different for me personally The first round in the spring lake. I knew some people that got it but this time a lot of my close people have it. I think i've gotten five or six calls. Just in the last two weeks of my friends saying they have this thing in freaks me out a little bit. So let's stay safe and keep one another safe on a happier note. I am super excited that a lot of the fall. Tv shows are back. This is my favorite time of year. Not only for the cold weather and holiday season. But also because i love television and i love all the new season's starting like a lot of things were delayed. I'm sure you guys have your favorite shows too. And i was watching the other night the first episode of my most favorite show and it just started back a couple of weeks ago and i just got to catch up on the first episode and they said something that really stuck with me. The show is a million little things and it makes me a million times happy. It's just a friend group. It's friends and family and all this amazing stuff that i love so i don't know if i missed it along the way in prior seasons but i never knew where the name of the show came from and in that episode the first episode of the new season. They set it in. He said friendship isn't one big thing. It's a million little things and you know. I am a believer that everything is a million little. Things are recovery our lives. Our relationships are personalities. All of it is the product of a million little things just like i always talk about the micro decisions right. The million little decisions is something. I stress a lot to clients is to think of yourself as a thousand piece puzzle and think about how small those pieces are right. Some are bigger than others but were made up of a lotta pieces. And when i talk about my past and tell you that i wasn't very nice and i was selfish and manipulative. Those are just a few of my pieces. I was also extremely kind and loving and generous. Those are a few more of my pieces. One of my pieces is entrepreneur and one is alcoholic. I will tell you my anger piece got much smaller when i got sober in. Started my judgmental peace and with that other pieces got much bigger and i always think about this with dating to because we have a tendency to rush into things in this is where i've made some pretty big missteps in dating when you start dating someone it everything feels so good and it's so much fun and you get along so well in your so excited and all those chemical things are happening inside of you and you really can't think clearly honestly this is like the last moment to be making any major decisions like in the first three or four months of dating somebody because it takes while right when you start dating someone. They are also a thousand piece puzzle. And how long do you think it's gonna take to learn all those pieces..

"Where residents need a little more help at a nursing facility for people with round the clock healthcare needs. After the fire. Family members on Facebook were frantic about where people from all of these places went. The email does not work. I tried three times to get an update on my mother. I wish you'd responded the telephone message I left. I don't know where my 90 year old parents are. A great grand aunt is in skilled nursing. She's a trooper, but she just enjoyed her 103rd birthday, But I feel better knowing where she is for the nursing home and for assisted living residents, state and federal laws require spring Lake Village toe have plans. For communicating with families for transportation like a bus to get everyone out, and for a place to go before this Fire Co. Via the company that runs Spring Lake Village had handshake deals with other care homes to open their doors to evacuees. The problem there was Mary McMullen is a marketing executive Ako via the relationships we had, when push came to shove. They were unwilling to accept people due to the cocotte restrictions and not wanting to put their residents at risk, McMullin says As the fire came roaring in Spring Lake Village needed to get people out of harm's way. We thought that by sending our residents with our staff We would be able to execute our emergency plan. And that didn't happen Three days after the fire, McMullin says around 30 residents, some in memory care, some from assisted living remained at the Petaluma Fairgrounds. Was it longer than we would have? Wanted. Yeah, These were very frail individuals, and they should not have been there. Christa Barnett Nelson runs Sonoma County's Long Term Care Am Busemann program. It's charged with advocating for older people in local care homes, and she says it wasn't just Spring Lake Village at least half a dozen facilities came to the county's evacuation centers. Five ambulances from one small care home. That's not the plan cars of residents from another. And then the buses of seniors from yet another large facility. That's also not part of the plan in her view facility should not be relying on public shelters the way they did, especially the large ones. These are private companies. They're paid to follow these things all the way through At the end of the day. How do you How do you not have a plan? A plan B Plan C plan D When you're 400 people's lives in your hands. At Spring Lake Village, McMullin says her company did have a plan A and B and a bunch of letters besides that, but a fast moving fire didn't give them much notice. And nothing in the law prevents these facilities from coming to the county for help for the county to be surprised for the young woman to be surprised that we're going to rely on a shelter. Even for an interim period, I think is absolutely ridiculous. But to Barnett Nelson, the appropriate interim period for frail seniors to be in limbo is one night. You don't put him in evacuation shelter for three days while you figure it out. There's no excuse for that. That's too long. Barnett Nelson says some people suffered. She describes one woman with dementia who flagged her down. She said. Excuse me, ma'am. I've chosen to stay. But I would like a caught, please, even though she had already stayed one night and had a car. Barnett. Nelson played along and said, Of course, let me see what I can find for you. And so then I started to step away and she said, Excuse me, ma'am, I think I want to call You know for her. She was making a decision over and over again to decide to stay and it was a big decision. You could tell for her. It was a big decision. This's why people with dementia have such a hard time with change.

"All this crap, but my gosh. This is like a fire seasons extended by another like month. Month and a half they deal with the earthquakes, fires. I mean, not that I had to do with them per se, except for the smoke, which is a as small, small, small 1% aspect of it. The people have to do with displacement and evacuations. As you have and losing their homes and in the firefighters that air stretched thin trying to deal with this just Thinking of you thinking everybody out there and just hoping everybody stays as safe as possible. And thank you to the people that are doing their jobs and You know, just for those people that if you have to choose between material stuff in your life, make sure you save the right things. So that's it. No, man. I mean, I'm obviously second that emotion. We have some family friends that live in Spring Lake Summer feel area they had to evacuate.
