"Spring green Dodgeville while you, may be getting some light rain right, now there is a steady. Storm stretched working, your way as well but Scott I'm sorry to cut you off Kingston in green Lake County Kingston they're. Reporting seventy mile per hour wind gusts that can do some damage some significant Damage in that is wind gusts that are going? To. Start, moving in our direction closer to these, Reggina yeah that's exactly right and and again the area that. We're most concerned about. Right now as it pertains to the. Tornado warning we're seeing that on our monitor right now is really just south of. The Rippin area crossing the border from green. Lake, County into county right now as we speak so if you are. In ripping or in the fair water or brand areas which is. To the south of ripping on highway forty nine Rosendahl there at the intersection of highway twenty three and highway twenty. Six those are the areas, right, now along with those township areas the township area north of wilpon town of Springvale those are the. Areas where folks really need to be taking those immediate, tornado precautions and it might be a good idea just to talk, about that real quick what folks should do when a tornado. Warning like, this is this you'd yes yeah you don't wanna mess around and, unfortunately you always your stories of, waiting a little bit too long don't. Play it Safe an underground shelter a, basement a safe room and again if you. Don't have an opportunity to go to an underground shelter or a safe room something like that a small windowless interior room a hallway on the lowest level. Of, a sturdy building. That sometimes the, safest alternative right and if you're out and about listening to us as you're on one, of these highways up and find elect county you know this is an appropriate time to find the nearest town get to a business someplace that's open where you can. Get to that shelter and you know we've talked about this before and I, think I brought it up countless times and if I, still feel it's important to say is Joplin everyone always goes back to Joplin. Missouri and that was we're not suggesting this tornadoes anything like, Joplin's excuse me but in Joplin we lost lives. Because many people the later determined we're not heeding the warnings correctly it's not something, that you need to be told more than once if there is a tornado warning in this case there is one in part of my county until? Four. Fifteen, get into a basement let this pass, while we watch the weather we're also watching the roads we. Bring in Deb What's the latest. Step? Well. We do have a new accident.

"Know either I mean there might be there might be hybrids You can, grow but, I'm, not, sure if you can easily Minnesota so there's? The framers market. And it basically sad spring greens. As of last week that's what we? Had spring greens yeah. And and homemade breads. Yeah because, there just isn't that's not an agricultural Bounty I made the flu Bury's, farmers. From common ground Minnesota she was saying she lives kind of in the very northern regions and people were like talking about grass fed, cows and she's like I literally don't have enough grass growing take because it's. Pretty cold up there we don't just get these lush fields. Like everyone else does and it's like apricot about that until, I thought about? Like what. Are. You gonna do yeah you're going to. Have to see some you. Could? Do. Cold hardy vegetables yeah and we can do. A lot of roots we have some friends. That, have garden embarrass yeah. Suzanne Winkler's her name you should. Actually look her up she's a pretty famous times writer that happens to. Live in embarrassment soda she's a friend of my mother-in-law's and she we went to her garden and. They have like garlic they have a hoop house which. We, may do time yeah they had. A lot of strawberries, they had potatoes beets a, lot of the greens tomatoes that they had started. Inside some peppers. Soul I don't know Chard those leaf leafy you can come because that's early it is making. Laddish is on I love radish it is. Making me look at the farmer's market with whole new ice yes because I'm thinking like wow I'm going to be a, farmer. I'm going to be able to make stuff what am I gonna make and so I've been thinking about the other thing the cabinet, we have outhouse but it's like the nicest outhouse you've ever been in ten. We have books in there and magazines my friends my mom's. Frenzy O'Connor's have on they call it the Taj Mahal oh, yes so we? Call it. The. Taj what are you have to do. The math you have to. Go? After. Go to the Taj so this sounds weird. But Tricia Cornell who's a local writer has. This, cookbook that I love. Called eat Marv edge tables it's. Like a farmer's market cookbook and it is literally from the Minnesota season. So if you have a you look up recipes for karate and it's in the outhouse so we've. Been reading it all summer again because we leave it. At, the cabinet it's like one of. Those fresh fun fines, when you get back and, she has these refrigerator pickles that don't have, sugar. In them because I don't. Like sweet pickles I'll even if you throw. A little bit of sugar? You don't get sweet pickles I just don't like, that I don't like that, sweet pickles Tang that's then you just get vinegar yeah okay. So I didn't realize I thought that. Having sugar, and vinegar together was part of. The process but it's not it's. It just. Brings that it just balances the. Vinegar so that you get in? Like it. Doesn't have to be sweet pickles aren't suite at. All at all not, even awesome I, know actually I have the pickle jalapenos going right now and I was gonna bring. You some yum see these are, the things that I am excited about I. Don't know if I'm excited, about growing up emails just for the sake of grain jalapenos. But pickle them yeah we're dilly beans I love dilly beans so I think I'm. Going to take this garden and make all. Kinds of pickled things I'm going to buy the instant pot that you can pressure cook things Yeah Stuff I haven't bought it, yet but I think I'm. Gonna. Okay and I'm just excited from that standpoint because I'm excited about refrigerator. Pickles another gal pal of mine that has the. Garden she did the cauliflower carrots pickles like, basically and she just put it in a jar and made a refrigerator pickle out of. That We have also been talking about we've been getting corn. Up there so corn pudding, I've made corn fritters we've. Had. Corn oysters which is a little different than a fritter we were talking. About those earlier because I also had the met. Cotto no me say was it's like a, corn fritter but a lot less flower so you really get the taste of the corn Basil's. Houdini soup does Aquinas are starting to come yes I some almost like don't grow zucchini you, get, too many oh my God. I spy relies listen beyond that, I ended up I picked up Jake from our friends house the Johnson farm is what I like to call it because, they're the? Ones where I get my chicken, eggs from because they always stack me, up so so we have. This little, like system. Where it's like this payback. Thing where I'm like well I've got so many cucumbers I know they're. Not growing numbers so I gathered. Them up and I bring them, to their house and it's like. There's then there's. The swap a tutor. You know and so, then they give us then I get x.. Zucchini she's like I have so many zucchini I'm like bring it I. Didn't plan to any so we have all of, this trade system going in. These little farm that is really exciting to me That is sharing that. Community that because I don't really, have community up there because I have never lived up there right my husband is practically living up there he's kind of. A hermit. "O. r. t. talk so going back to the issue of of water Wisconsin is a state that is is truly blessed with water we're surrounded by it with boy. We are also surrounded. By me. Pushing things to the ground here We're surrounded by the. Mississippi River lake superior Lake Michigan I guess that pretty much covers Yeah covers the kind of the the big. Boundaries surrounding us but we also have a huge amount of water within the state itself so getting back to what you've been hearing, from from, voters and particularly about the drinking water that people are not feeling is safe any longer what are? People saying they would like to see done and how would they like these issues handled because as we've seen in northeastern. Wisconsin where vast quantities of particularly liquid manure are, being. Applied to a car stop soil That manure can infiltrate the aquifer very readily and and the DNR has started to move toward your restricting that to some extent but. We have cursed throughout the state, it's not as if northeastern Wisconsin is the only area, with cursed where the aquifer, is endangered so do do, the people you've been talking with so far have they been offering solutions. For for what they would like to see happen yeah that's a great issue and the two kind of ways that that comes up, in terms, of what people would like to see is one better local options and then to a strong enforcement? Mechanism at the department of natural resources so on the local solutions front I think there there's a couple of, things that Have come. Up and I suspect when we start have are listening session? And spring green it'll come up but so in this past spring the state? Of, Wisconsin finally adopted as. You alluded to plans for limiting where manure could be spread on the eastern side of the state and that was a long time in coming and it really we hope is the beginning of getting a. Handle on making sure that we, are not directly contaminating the groundwater from the newer As part of agreeing to that initial piece we and our partners were very adamant that we now have to make sure that we are. Getting on the making sure other counties particularly in the southwest are able to do that as well. So we are working right now with local governments to make sure that they have the data that they need to be able to show what are the areas that are most sensitive that are most likely to be contaminated and then we need to work to get. The DNR to actually adopt a rule just like they did for the, eastern side of. The county that gives the DNR, the ability to require stronger standards in those areas where there's a contamination problem so it's working with the local governments to be able to, collect that information and be able to have the resources they, need to work with farmers to make sure that they're putting together plans that don't put manure and places that it shouldn't go So that's the first piece the second piece is in and it's coming up all over for lots of, issues not just the drinking water but there's a sense that. The department of natural resources isn't able to protect citizens and our natural resources to the fullest extent that it used to so that either because of politics or because of cutbacks with staffing or resources the department of natural. Resources isn't a strong protector of our natural resources and there's some truth to that there was a legislative audit that came up this past year. That showed that the department of natural resources wasn't following its own enforcement protocol so that when there. Was a somebody was putting pollution out that they were not doing what the law said they should to follow up with that polluter ninety five percent of the time so I think that there is a real sense that whoever is our next governor Our whoever our next legislature is. They've got to get serious about putting the power back into the department of, natural resources to protect our drinking water to be able to make sure, that everybody's playing by the rules. And the laws that we have to protect us and I'm also wondering how does Foxconn play into this and particularly the I guess kind of the potential issue of the Great Lakes compact and the waters of the Great Lakes which are a resource, not just for us in Wisconsin but for everyone throughout the country's really throughout..

"The attention to something that drives so many people i don't think i've ever been to a bucks game where somebody tried to where they tried two thousand dollar shot cbs i tried with i might do the five hundred everybody a bouma yo whip out then i take the fire i just make a five hundred dollars you booby audience do you have up there you're big dumbbell the five hundred dollar one probably would be too much of a weasel but the smart shot would be the thousand but nobody does the thousand well the five hundred is you know it's still harder than a free throw it's not like you're gonna make it but five hundred is five hundred i mean who does the two thousand dollars everybody who tries plays that thing because they all shoot the fake could make that thing at mid chord twelve hundred as opposed to a thousand people would still rather take the shantz at make it something that big corporate because they want everybody to see a make shot at big court on the office slim chance that it happens then they care about actually getting the money that tells you that fame and attention and glory is a greater motivator i think for most people even the money so if we really what everybody to take a look at us that we all that bothered that facebook is allowing third party app get developer to share the information with somebody who used it for political purposes do you really think that this isn't something that goes on all the time with all sorts of other websites said social media places finally i keep saying finally i keep more where these things what do you think people create apps most apps are free some the charge but most apps are free so that they can follow you around and provide information to develop a profile of the whole thing some of them they just put a little ad on there and that's the end of it the biggest reason to create an app is once again to inspire a person and learn everything about them and then be able to market to them let's breakdown a spring green cash contests texted we're coming up four o'clock or a little.
