In case you missed the good news in Virginia 95 northbound, the diversion point on 95 down in thornburg stopped. You still have some slow traffic behind it, getting that ladysmith, but lanes are open, getting out of thornburg headed to an earlier rack before route one spotsylvania Maya post one 24. The investigation has been completed. Rest of the trip north, you're okay, leaving Fredericksburg. We were a little crowded in woodbridge, even that eased. Now all the downhill traffic, if you will, that's eventually working their way north. You may have a little bit of a late rush hour. We'll keep an eye on it. Three 95, good to go. A little heavy in Springfield and slowed across the 14th. Look at that delay on the interloop, though. You're heavy, Braddock road to two 36, then a Walla brake lights at 66 headed into Maryland. The wreck before river road, a couple track two trailers were involved, right half of the roadway blocked two to the left will get you by. You'll also find we'd had some slowing off the northbound George Washington Parkway, just trying to get on to the inner loop of the beltway. The outer lips slower in Maryland, the slowdown is now from New Hampshire, past Georgia, continuing past old Georgetown road, rubbernecking, the incident on the inner loop. Now if you're on the outer loop of the belt where you're going to hit the brakes shortly past Connecticut avenue, excuse me, exit 33. That's a slow roll from that point to just before the three 55 exit, which is exit 34. You're staying two lanes to the right to get by around a curve emergency response with the accident. Two to the right will get you by. Then that becomes your breakaway point. The outer loop of the beltway one should step into Virginia. They have the disabled vehicle now. You've got to help car with said disabled vehicle. It's just after the express lane split on the outer loop. So before the toll road, watch out on the right side and you know the drill vehicle stop, be sure to move over for safety. That's it for the beltway. In fact, that's it basically for the Virginia side 66 from front royal into roslyn, no issues to report. Large fire response was still cleaning up along gallows road will actually they're off of gallows road so between 29 and 66 near heatherton lane, watch for any fire equipment moving out. 95 in Virginia from Springfield to Fredericksburg all rolling well. All righty, thanks, Liz, and we are thanking our listeners, keeping us updated on a crash happening out of our immediate area that if you're traveling south of 95 in spotsylvania county, so south of Fredericksburg can not see this crash, but listener updates go like this if you're running south, you've passed route one spotsylvania. That's the one two 6 mile marker before the Nye river, so about the one, two one mile marker, a solo crash that bounced off a wall, so as it stands now, you've got a delay to get to mile marker one two one and there you were staying to the left to get by equipment on the scene of the accident. Now, you're good to go back to speed before you even get to the thornburg exit and nothing in the northbound direction slowing you at all. 95 between Fredericksburg and the beltway, three 95 to the 14th street bridge, got nothing, and you're moving pretty well. We had a large fire in Vienna and off of gallows road between 29 and 66 fire extinguished we've got equipment moving now, so watch for any fire trucks coming out, they could take you by surprise. Nothing currently on 66 all disabled vehicles we've had quite a few this morning, but they are all clear at this moment in time between front royal all the way into roslyn. We're checking in to Maryland, same big roads are doing well. There are no slowdowns on the beltway, Virginia, or Maryland, but on the Maryland side, the inner loop ramp to go to Georgia avenue. There is said to be emergency road work from state highway can't see it, but you could take the ramp and find it by surprise with caution there. We've been talking about a huge crash in spotsylvania county on I 95. Northbound, the diversion remains at ladysmith exit one ten. I 95 is still closed. Northbound between ladysmith and thornburgh, the crash happened closer to 6 O 6. Drivers at the front of the line who have been stuck the longest between the diversion and the pile up that involved a dozen or more vehicles are now being guided past the scene single file to the left. So one by one, you are getting on your way. There is southbound rubber necking, route one is going to fill up and three O one is a better route if it works to get you north of that backup and a version on 95. Southbound on 95 beyond 6 ten garrisonville, the wrangling the tractor trailer from the center of the road on the left shoulder. We've now got all lanes open. Southbound with delays that will start to ease out of Quantico. A more routine rainy rush hour around the beltway in Maryland and in Virginia and on 66 westbound toward centerville with slow at times traffic, a little better on route 15 north of Leesburg, the crash north of montresor road is out of the way. In Maryland 95, southbound after two 12 crash on the left, VW Parkway two 95 southbound, near NSA, caller had the crash with one off the Parkway along the left side. I 97 northbound after benfield boulevard a crash with Elaine blocked, spin out on 50 westbound west of cape saint Clair is on the shoulder, no delay getting past that or heading to the bay bridge. There's a new crash in brandywine on three O one northbound near the 5 branch avenue split. This one will slow the pace north, a brandywine crossing. Again, north 95 mile marker one 15 stay right, a new crash. Beyond that, we're doing well in Virginia 66, heading eastbound inside of the beltway where the ramp from glee broke comes in. They are working southbound 95 down in spotsylvania county south of Fredericksburg, beginning as you approach route one spotsylvania headed down toward montmartre one 24, single file right gets you through the works and it does appear that they have stopped traffic several times in that work, they're working on the U.S. 17 bridge at 95. So again, just be aware from time to time they have stopped traffic. As of late the delays of these somewhat, but it is still slower than you would expect at this hour. So if you really want to avoid it route one down to 6 O 6 to rejoin 95, beyond the work soon in any associated delay. So just keep that in mind. "An attorney for an armed black man killed by deputies while he was on the phone with 911 is demanding more audio be released from the call. Fatal I-95 Crash Leaves 3 People Dead in Northern Virginia
"On I 95 in Northern Virginia yesterday. Virginia State police say that a trouper trying to pull over a speeding Dodge Avenger heading north bound on I 95 in Spotsylvania but cut off the chase because there was too much traffic further up the line, though troopers picked the chase back up, and that's when the driver of that Avenger broke through gates and drove the wrong way into south bound express lanes in the Dale City area. The Avenger collided head on with a pickup truck and then two other vehicles and burst into flames that you Driver of the Avenger was killed in her passenger ejected from the vehicle. She also died.
