"Anticipating they'll get drafted and they don't. Like. The way put up my heart just dropped and like Oh my God I can't imagine. I know a story of it not that that's an issue this year or for the foreseeable drafts but it's all going to be on zoom, but certainly in past. Don Cherry always used to scream about that your kids unless you know you're going in the first ten, fifteen selections stare at home. You know because you have no identity just crushes them. Right and the prime example I remember is in the back in the sends. Second or third year I. There was the draft and there was a Powell demetre who emerged as a pretty terrific hockey player. And unfortunately died in the plane crash the K. H. L. Locomotive Plane Crash. But when he was drafted by the sends, it was like he expected I think to be in the second round the latest and he didn't get drafted I, think until about the seventh round and when he was finally called by the Senators, the the team was like. Is Dmitri, still there. into. The meat you still there well, of course. Somebody. Get up there now and draft him immediately and when when they finally. Caught up with him, his eyes were already. Just weeping up in the stands it was just heartbreaking. Sure. Sure. I can't like as a parent. You know. What? What are you? GonNa? What are you GonNa? Do that doesn't Test Your Skills. Kid didn't get drafted career. I don't know what to tell you. freaking loser. Auto bomb freaking bomb. You know how? How did you? Possibly you know there's so many rounds and you couldn't find one fricking round in there. If you think about the guys that are being drafted right the you know the frontier or Quinton by field, Tim stood learning jacket name off a dozen off the top of my head. They're all to you know be in for the time of their life here in these next couple of weeks they're going to be. Enjoying the draft and they're gonNA be wined and dined in their respective cities shown around the media they're going to be the envy of all their friends they if if it works out, they could be could Jillian air set for life so it's all amazing stuff but I always is a part of me that thinks of the I don't know what do you think ten thousand kids in this country to who worked every bit as hard of all these guys all these guys who ended up being you know third, line, Ontario Hockey League fords. Know they did all the workouts they went to all the training camps in the summer camps in the power skating. They did everything that they could just it just didn't pan out for them by their own lack of talent. Maybe it was there S- abide Laka coach kind of blocked them whatever it was it just makes you realize just What a grind the whole thing is, and it's a, it's it's a, it's a real thresher and it cost family. So so much money to try and live the dream and is that's tonight's draft is for select few such a tiny tiny percentage of hard working hockey players in this country are going to get to enjoy the draft tonight. And whether they admitted it or not parents who devote themselves to their kids young hockey careers coming up through the ranks where they show some promise they're pretty good. They can light it up in their. midget Bantam. And junior hockey when they get in there. There's. No my.

"Maybe the sins love a great year and. You certainly done things that he deserved grief for no question about that. But there's also some things that he does from a business standpoint and the business of hockey that actually does make a lot of sense in that. He is totally down with paying UFA's insane money maximum term of eight years. He's just not down with that has been and as time marches on and you see. Seventy five percent of that the time that doesn't work out for a team when they. Blow all this money and have this guy for so long and we're talking this contract starting when guys are in that twenty, seven, twenty, eight, year, old range It works out in the minority like the majority of the time teams are regretting those deals by the time they're over right on the sustainable show. This we talked to Russ about the draft because he he got drafted. You would know the stat, their first rounder he was drafted seventh overall in that crazy talking about deep deep drafts. That's the one where Pat Lafontaine Steve Eisman Tom Barrage was in that draft to was so so deep and Russ. Courtenay was number seven that year Brian Lawton of all people ended up as number one and not to steal your. Russ Thunder. But he had told a great story about Brian Lawton and how GM's below the Minnesota North Stars that year the North Stars GM was Lou nanny and guess guys like Bill. Torrey who is the islanders GM at the time and he one guy a guy like Pat Lafontaine wore maybe is a guy like Jimmie Devil Llano who probably wanted to Steve is Herman and wanted to. Didn't want anything to change that, and so they talked up Ryan Lot, into nanny and it. Into Russ Nanny bought it, and we saw the kind of career Brian Latin ad. Yeah. Yeah. Compared to La. Fontaine or Nicer minner anybody else. Anyway Rusty, talked at length about the the experience of being drafted in the day of it. I think the draft was in Montreal that year. Took a train from Toronto went up. On the train. Found one of them found their one of their agents credit cards. you know these kids are eighteen years old and talked about the whole the whole sort of two days of being around there. And a hilarious story where the there was a phone right there. You know when you when you go up on stage, they draft you throw the Jersey on the hat like you were talking about, and then you can make a phone call. So Russ immediately phoned his mother. And if that wasn't enough because they need the phone, Steve, they give you the one phone call and then they need the phone right back in the writing. Okay there's no cell he's right. No cellphones rest started calling everybody and so he kinda held up the whole draft he called his Alma. Mater Notre Dame and Scotch on cousins the whole works. So anyway, he he talks about the it was the certainly at the time the biggest day of his life you know and and for a long time and. Buddy also. Makes reference to how tough it is on kids who were there with their.

Embedding these days. We got a little action on the Tampa Bay I took Tampa Bay. It's going to be there year. They won the Stanley. Cup The took the race over the. So we'll see what happens. They're. They're the underdog got there as coal there on the mound from the X.. and. Then in a very stupid bet. Atlanta's playing green. Bay Packers. And I Bet Atlanta to win. The game but with no points. And they're they're kind of a six point underdog. So I threw fifty through on Atlanta. See you get. Two to one or something if they. Bad Bets. So you got. You Got Aaron Rodgers okay. Coming off a huge game there three and all Atlanta's Owen three and the Yankees got their guy on the mound. Okay. There ace on the mound. So going to take the two hundred dollars not just to underdogs. Massive. Them around with that. Yeah. I guess I don't take a little flyer so. So the game seven start well I guess the game started. As we were. It's back and forth the Yankees are rather hitting home runs here left and right. The when I when we talk about this. Just, went ahead on the third or fourth or fifth inning. Whatever it is anyway can't good as Aaron Rodgers has been and I'm a packers fan. So I don't want to give too much. I. Always Tell me too much about the game because MPV it all. He's got a couple of key receivers who were injured. He's got Davante. Adams is not playing tonight. Allen Lazard to a big week last week he's also injured. So might not be as as one-sided as you might think. Well, we'll have to see..

Stephen were not advertising agents. Should have been. But one day they will one day they will. That's where this is going baby. Yeah. Well. Yup. Joker. Well if they don't disqualify Steve for the the first one, that's hilarious that that happened my accent. If they don't disqualify for that first one which was by accident. Okay. So if you didn't see it folks, he was pissed the point was over and he slammed the ball behind him and it hit the on line drive hit. Hit Aligns. Judge in the throat and Choose okay. In the end some people debated thought she was acting stuff like that however and the rules pretty hard and fast you're out got you got a forfeit money also hard hard hard penalty. But if they didn't. If they said that don't worry about it. Just apologize to her and carry on then every tennis player in the world I'd be doing it after every show you know how many people they want freak woken the head. A we laugh we cry but. "Eighteen time all star just a triple crown winner in his MVP. You're back in nineteen sixty seven and through all of that guy play twenty three years for the Red Sox first ballot hall of Famer through all of that Carl Yastrzemski said and he's eighty now he said seeing his grandson play today at Fenway Park will mean as much to him as anything. He did in his own career so today. Oh Mike Yastrzemski ski has been dreaming for years. The guy's not exactly a raw rookie. He is a rookie but he's not like a kid. Mike Yastrzemski is twenty nine years years of age so he's been he's been dreaming of doing what his grandfather did become a major leaguer for years and so today as he debuted with the giants nine against the Red Sox Yastrzembsky mini yeahs got a standing ovation from the Red Sox fans at fenway. When I comes to the plate leads it's off the first inning and unfortunately strikes out. Oh let in the fourth inning Yastrzemski steps up and he takes. Is it deep baby. No it a home run. How cool was that. I thought that was a pretty neat moment like just such a legend like Carl Yastrzemski grant grandson and son out there you know at age twenty nine like if it was a kid and everybody expected them to get their that'd be one thing but you know to fight and claw and scratch to try and get to the the major leagues and at Twenty Nine. Get there and IT'S A it's in Boston against the Red Sox team and you hit a home run. That's pretty cool stuff. You know we're getting. We're getting a lot OUGHTA that stuff this year closer to home. Bobi shut did it in his first at Bat when his mom and dad were in the crowd crowd you at the game and then Kevin Bijou guy hit for the cycle tonight that's crazy and of course for his debut his Dad Ed Craig Hall of Famer was on hand for that one yeah and then the first homecare the first home game back in Anaheim after the terrible tragedy city of the pitcher who dropped dead. Tyler skaggs causes skaggs in his hotel room. They have a no hitter combined. No hitter that was is unbelievable yeah remember that was crazy crazy. So this is the year of good Karma or something got me to thinking of other great family moments other other than ones. You came up with some great ones there in the blue. Jays has been one story after the next one in the family perspective Guerrero of course been well chronicled but some of the ones that that I think of as I look back like the nineteen ninety baseball season where you had the Griffey's father and son going back to back with home runs both playing for the Seattle Mayor Career. I didn't know that yet craig about that back to back home runs nineteen eighty-seven at Wimbledon checker knocked picture. This in your mind got the long mullet going. He's got the checkered headband he wins. Wimbledon inaugural note or Bork no or a lesser light named Pat Cash Oh sure and the famous scene after he wins at Wimbledon wins the final point the guy goes over the wall climbs over people and chairs and everything and and then up over a wall and then finally gets to his dad who you would've thought would've gotten better seats than that but that was pretty memorable moment. I thought well you know why it's totally memorable because you're onto something about what started trends you know and now everyone does that. Everyone does but he was. You're right. He was the first guy to just go. Drop everything go whipping in. He's an Australian by the way Steve. How I know that Shit. I don't know I didn't look that's all in there. It's a matter of accessing the file right YEP yeah. That's right right Steve Zing Zang when you said Carl Yastrzemski Steve as I was listening. I'm serious I'm serious. I thought this I it's second. I really am stupid. He said Carl Schramm ski eighteen time while everyone in a row all-star and triple crown winner. I said the guy was a Jockey Kentucky Derby. I'll Kenya won the preakness. Kim really going to have to turn the name of the sports just whatever because they can't have you on the show in anything related sports anymore. That's really cool. I thought he it's too big to be a jockey but those muttonchop sideburns probably create a lot of drag as he's riding the horse though I would think sure sure so he had the Brett Farve situation his his Dad Irvine passed away the day earlier and then he goes on Monday night football it was wondering is he going to be okay to play mentally and one of the best games of his career as they just thrashed the raiders forty one to seven and farms numbers were off the chart that night you to go with Jim and John Harbaugh how them brothers can po- yeah competing against each other in the Super Bowl in two thousand thirteen. That's pretty cool. That was very cool. That's right. I remember that there's another story to which would be typical of my story. Steve you got a segment is guess what gyms talking about and I'm loading up to number one here so this picture of the David Letterman top ten list and then at just before number one then somebody says grabs the ball and runs out of the studio kind of thing with it but that's going to happen right now. Go Okay okay. There was a figure skater of female figure skater Canadian figure skater who went onto compete. Oh Yeah thirty two or three nights after her mother died. That'd be a Joni Rochette. How did you know that well. How did you know in sports a long time and I'm fan of stuff. I tend to remember the things I like and that was an incredible story pretty good. WanNa very good. Steve that she won the bronze now for the big one the one it's the one that is because it's fresh in its recent. This is one that popped into my head. It wasn't a lot of research that went into the surrounding but I thought it was pretty special moment. After The Washington capitals is won the Stanley Cup a couple of years ago we have. TJ OSHII up there and just the the interview that he does there and the hug that he has for his dad who's dealing with dementia and you know some of the commentary was really touching and and I had the clip handy. Maybe that's part of why it's number one this is TJ Oshii after after the Washington Capitals Win The Stanley Cup my dad. Oh he doesn't he doesn't remember Boura a lot of stuff these days. You remembered enough but I tell you what it is here tonight. I don't know where that this one will stick with them forever. You can guarantee that so there's T. TJ oh she was in very emotional words about his dad and a pretty special evening you know even though his dad's dealing with that kind of dementia it feeling that was still going to a nineteen never forget yeah walking on the Marty mcsorley. I think was one of the first guys who the second after they won the Stanley Cup up. He went and got his dad before even is almost before he went through the handshake line and walked his father onto the first guy remember ever doing that. Yeah I remember that yeah right so you know speaking of transient that started a trend where families are all over the joint Wayne Gretzky phoning US Steve. Oh Yeah Yeah. That's got to be number one well. It's not really bloodlines there. I know you guys are tight and everything are you blood brothers just another chance for me to get his name. Steve in that whole thing about you strength ski at a sort of smooth that over with the Gretzky Ointment House. You're going to get to this. We'll see always does always always does. Do you know Gretzky or something. Wow Geez those are those are great things. I love that Lola this was a whatever show Steve Fisher. Oh Yeah but the sports tone do it but it was still whatever e- whatever ish I'll figure out an adjective. We gotta go okay. LET'S GET OUTTA here Steve. Yes final thought yes my final thought so I flip on. TSN Steve. I don't know how many TSN ICONS I have on my guide when I flip it up. What is their five. There are five five channels yes yup. How am I not getting when they're broadcasting thing it anyway the Toronto Ottawa Game. How come I don't get it out here. I don't know if the owners are playing or not. Surely Steve Surely instead of you. GotTa see this or world fricken poker or are plays of the month or must see this. All that shit is on when I could be watching a hockey game. Let's go in. I totally agree. I I wouldn't know on ESPN four if that helps but I don't know if they massage is the one is the big one right and I don't know what they I think the other ones end up being regional name assange them and whatever might what Tsn for us here in Ottawa might not be what it is Edmonton. There's nothing going I know but but the channels blank right showing anything you know what do all the game I do some little an answer to that ah on the TSN front we should say big show to our OUR POW former Ottawa Senator Todd White. You would know him more as our survivor update guy from back in the day. You remember that yes yeah so todd went on since you left to become our mid day announcer with Steve Lloyd and unfortunately he and Bell Media Parted Company today. Hey he got that news so that sox but we wanted to give a big shadow to our friend todd white better things ahead white no question about that and not a better guy guy greater all right. Steve Enjoy the day wedding. I'm sweating. I was laughing all right into close. Is it out today. We talked earlier about parody songs of course used to do a number of hockey parody songs on on the old show over the years and we all see us to place in parody songs long some listeners and I have one here today from Ben Patrick via the emails and Ben Rights while Steve. I know you weren't keen on this idea when we last talked about it but I found found a couple of musically inclined friends who got around to recording it so my friends liked this song. Some of them thought it was terrible. Anyway here it is if you. WanNa have a listen just for fun. That's from Ben so this is Ben and Marty Sinclair so by their own admission. You might like it. You might hate it but we're here at the end of the podcast. There isn't anything after today so please enjoy to the tune of melanie by weird. Al Yankovitch assumed to be classic sick but possibly not as is eugene good night everybody we'll see you can be sweet you while shoes as a seen raked Jerry. "You've done it again. Take a bow sir. Take a bow like you now. Before we had a break wanted to mention. I wanted to talk a little bit about it. Piqued my interest earlier when you're talking about tiger in his gum chewing and I got to thinking about Tiger Woods and worry as where is it the stage of his career and to me. I think it would be a good idea like I think you'd pull in some pretty strong ratings. If you had like a column on a separate channel for the stars of the game like like right now on NASCAR does that if he had some kind of a scenario where this I don't like tiger is always going to be the story right like what if you had a camera trained entirely on tiger but with also him miked up so you're hearing the conversations he's having and when woody hear him chew gum if that if that and he's talking about his next shot and he sees next shot and he keeps walking you hear them like to me that would for fringe golf fan. I would say that they'd have a hard hard time deciding what they wanted to watch more. Tiger Cam Tiger TV or what's happening elsewhere on the course well. It's it's interesting. You bring that up steep. I Brad Fritsch did that when he was on the web. I think that they might them up one time which was a terrific thing for Canadians to get to watch that so it's been it's been done before but it would be great. It'd be great to see that so Steve Think about this. What what would be the coolest exhibition sports thing you would ever get to see so. It's a it's a made up deal. I'm team sports or individual well individual. I'm thinking skins game right. That was pretty cool when they started doing that right. The people tuned in and was for cash one of the best ones ever with Freddie couples and Mike. We're we're playing together. It was in Canada and they switched clubs right for Mike. Whereas left-hander switch clubs whole there's all sorts of stuff okay so how about this don't roll your eyes because because I know the great one so Wayne Gretzky and Brooke Henderson play Dustin Johnson and Janet Gretzky I could do with a Janet it. I'm interested in the other three. She's a really good Golfer. Though okay sort of a family thing Steve Brooks is the you know you don't like Oh. I thought it'd be good. I've floated that one of the great one in fact it was his idea. Maybe you can talk about it on the show and see it flies. The only thing that got you know obviously people just WanNa. Come out and see them play but it would be really cool really cool. I just want to have an I'm just seeing abused a theme there of gay greatest in their sport in Gretzky greatest in the sport and well read the top anyway and Brooke Anderson Right at the top in Dustin Johnson. I I need like another female component something along. I mean one of the best events ever that Wayne get for years was him Bret Hall Marylou Played Mike. We're in their best ball against hits and it was speaking maritimes I did on on Cape. Breton Island in a little town called bedeck right where there's a thousand people live there in three thousand showed up to watch the thing travel there to do it I would that would be one of one of my tops. I'm a golf nut. No I wouldn't mind that that that'd be pretty cool. I just I think I would replace Janet with all due respect of course with somebody who is elite in another sport sport who is also a very excellent Golfer that would be my that'd be one change. I would make in this fictional get together if it's a Canadian tien all right Janet by marriage now is married to a Canadian guy. Dozens of son-in-law Brooks is the Best Golfer of of all golfers so what you're saying his by marriage. She's married to a Canadian guy. I don't think that that doesn't count she she. If the end of that sends was she became a Canadian citizen because because of that then I don't alright beyond what might be up there now if someone thinks about it they might think of something with Bianca. Oh yeah anyway if she can golf all the all day long on that one great call now. We've got a family story that I want to get to here in just a second here but again. I want to remind everybody that the show is brought to you by some really good folks like Popeye supplements. We all tend to feel a little guilty after a pound back those greasy snacks big plate of Bacon..

"I'm laughing because while you're reading the ADS as I was thinking about the last twenty minutes where we did. I say I gotTA GOT US TV. Who who was the worst. You've been radio longtime lot a lot longer than I was. Who's the worst guest that you've ever had during your whole whole life on radio. and I'm trying to think the one that comes to mind was that I was. I don't even know if it was me anymore. It's been so long but I heard the replay of it so many times that fast ball pitcher we had and I was just thinking that I don't know about that Buddy Buddy Ottawa sports radio. I was filling in this before. I got my big break. Stephen got the morning show and with with Jani Rosenberg in the afternoon and we brought this guy on and as you know summer the dog days of sports right there's nothing going on the Blue Jays Jason but they were nine times out of ten. They're in the tank. You know back in the back of the other than those big. Two World Series Of course is not in the tank. That's good but there's just nothing happening and so this guy is coming to town for some some national or international fastball tournament and he's the nuts. He's the best guy in the world. His name was Darren Zach there you go good one. Stevie Darren Zach comes in he sits down and I mean the stats on the guy. Steve are outrageous. If you read these things like you normally would a statue on a baseball player. You would say that can't be true. They can't be true. The Guy had what the guy had what eighteen thousand strikeouts or something you know. It's like it was off the charts you know off the charts of this guy. He had a billion wins and four losses and shit like that he was a pitcher of course and so we bring this is great. This is unbelievable in the guys so so we go blah Blah Blah Zachary Darren was good okay. Hey good to have you here. You Know How's. How's your summer going on? You're busy no fucking. I thought the guy died. I thought he was dead sitting there. What are you doing when you're not when you're not playing in baseball Dr Dozer. Oh yeah where we're wherever I can I. I'm not doing justice and then we hit him with the big. How many perfect games have you had any said. I don't know I don't know I like so many guy. I don't know I don't know about that buddy yeah and it came off as standoffish but I've been told by so many people that he's just the nicest guy ever like and he's just be pitched here for years and years and he and so this is the profile of him he was known by his nickname Zemun and he's a legend in the world of Fast Pitch Softball he is set records at every level pitching the most wins strikeouts consecutive scoreless innings capturing three gold medals at the Pan Am Games he's been described by teammates and opponents as unhittable the greatest pitcher of all time and the Babe Ruth of Fast Pitch Softball and the nicest man or person you will ever meet the Wayne Gretzky of fastball. It is far far as being an interview guest. That really wasn't his strength. Oh Yeah it was there weren't many I'm trying to think over time we interviewed people but there weren't very few appear that went kind of sideways way. Got Cranky Cranky Sleeping Cranky leg. I remember in oak seven when you know the Stanley Cup finals out in Anaheim and so is real late nights and and we're all excited right there in the middle of the Stanley Cup finals so we're kids in a candy store and he jumps on on and he's like Oh my God I'm tired eating say that and he was always a pro- but we always be though when he's at West and at the end of the season like that we're talking not just the the the end of the regular season lose at the end of the whole thing where he's working almost every night. He's retired dude at that stage of the game so I can't blame too much for that. Yeah now are there was anyway. It's funny how you think of the really bad shit right but that's what made the show so funny and talk. Hey we got. I love that I love that edited the Elliott. It was funny without at the same one. We didn't talk about this before the show or anything we both came up with the same guy now was the other one was before. I go with the other one was Steve. We had a hooters girl on one time on. How did that strike you as a bad interview. I'll tell you why it wasn't it wasn't bad ad but it went her opening line when she came on and she goes. What can I say. Don't worry about it will lead you through it. We were sponsoring something at hooters and she came came on and we went and with us. Today is three three year waitress veteran whatever she is at hooters and Ages L. How are you can I say tits on the radio and I say tits. She remember that she didn't know we were on air. She thought thought it was the niche before that's great. Do I forget that I must be out of the room or something. I didn't hear that was hilarious now if you had to do you have to yeah if you have to choose between one it what's more timeless is it. The hooters uniform or is it. The uniform of the Dallas cowboys just cheerleader of Stevie. They both stand the test of time very well. I Find Yeah Dallas takes it hands down Dallas Cowboys Ed's though in our poll today Steve. Are we talking leg warmers with the hooters outfitted with the white sneakers or those that you what's the they borrowed that Shit from the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders so don't even start with me. I've been watching the Dallas cowboys okay since the seventies pal insulted right now yeah. Don't don't don't give me the hooter sing over the well there. WE GO STEVE WITH NOT GETTING sponsors. Don't give you that. WHO'd or Chat Achilles scratch suitors off my list of possible conquests Jimmy member Jimmy remember that thing we before we started this podcast. If you WANNA throw in the odd corporation or corporate neighbor coupling make it a sponsor to fucking hooters. I'll tell you I'm loving today Steve. I'm Lovin same here. I'm still now. We've got to tell the truth agreed. I think the big picture I would agree with that. I'm fond of the hooters thing but anyway is there. Is there some other classic uniform the that the pop to mind well when you think you're you know the laker girls right. I I went to a Laker game. You lucky I'm Steve. I'd right Oh. You've always wanted to throw punchy one time I said because you're a massive baseball fan. I said I've been to one baseball game and it was Joe. Joe Carter's run yeah touch them all JOE. Okay and you're like what that's the only game you're I said Yeah Yeah you know. The world just falls at my feet. I went to Gulf trip with Dave Cahill. Whoever knows Ottawa Good Guy Yup listen to a- and yeah he's big listener and we went to California and we've got a bunch of friends. I know down there now and billy army took it to his course which is called Pebble beach of the south it was fantastic deal and then we went and played Riviera. It was just exceptional. Okay Dave was like Jesus. She says this is unreal and he said I gotta go. Laker game and I couldn't get tickets David. I got an uncle I've got an uncle here. He told me before so there's uncle says yeah the tickets will be for you. We'll call for this Laker game. We got him at the last minute and we show up there. The guy says just valet the car. You can use valet with this pets. We've valley the car we walk in. Someone meets us. There Steve are you. Are you Jim Durham. Dave we go. You know we are just come with me. Okay off. We go into this room bunch of stars where there Steve. I ended up having coffee with allstate guy the black guy who does the allstate commercials. Oh Yeah Yeah Yeah that guy you. No you're all state whatever it's called pure and and then we're looking to watch the game and this girl comes and gets us again and says okay come with me. I'm going to take you to your seats. I said well we could find our seats. This this hospitality is unreal. You know we're eating and drinking and drinking my face off and then she walks to somewhere like okay hey great. We don't we don't see the tickets. She has them. We've given over there anyway. Steve Court site walks across the floor second row on on the floor behind the LAKER bitch yeah. That was my only basketball game. I WanNa fight you right now. The full Brag just a it was a little bit. You know I know mean. Fight is in your ending like that like just an actual fistfight you know and no-holds-barred oh holds barred. I love telling you that stuff because I know you're way bigger sports fan than I am now our computing web poll today because you've got the commercial radio. I know it's ready to go right. I'm just going to do it myself. Steve Comedian Okay No. I don't know I needed to do it because I know you're okay anywhere computing web poll today what sends player most impressed you tonight and what player surprise you so. We gave you a couple of options in there. see Walter Prager Rights Mitch Monir that was a that was a beautiful assist on the winner got the greatest a Ah goaltending that was certainly a good in in both cases he had hold Burg and Nielsen. I don't know exactly who made that call but I've never seen ever in the three star selections where two goalies from the same team that made the three stars what they do a split squad thing yeah so he didn't chase from the game was just half-and-half but they almost almost never happens right. I've never seen Michael. Harris writes as most impressed by declare. That was the obvious choice surprised by Alex Foreman's into that. I didn't notice them. It all seems like last year. He was forcing his way onto the team in preseason. Tonight didn't didn't notice him. I'll give you mine. Anthony Declare for sure was the one that impressed me most honorable mention to Max Lash Wa. I thought going into this year I wasn't wasn't sure about him and I'm still not sure about him making the team because they are so loaded on that left side on defense but at a really good game tonight noticeable through some heads he's got a goal so I thought he was very good and as far as surprised who would have surprised me tonight. I was a little surprised I really notice Eric Brannstrom against him that much. This is the guy they brought over almost single-handedly for mark stone and so you're going to need to be a really good hockey player for since fans do not hate that deal more than they already do so this is the longest poll question in the world. What does it no. There's always feedback James. We always do a little bit of feedback. That's the idea of a poll all that you're actually trying to get feedback from people and that's what that was and now you can tell us about rb computing. WHAT'S HAPPENED WITH THEM STEVE. I know you know that we've had pre ratio meetings. Steve Production meetings and every time I come up with an idea of something and you look and go. No we can't do that because that would mean. You'd have to pay attention mentioned for more than twenty two seconds to go yeah good good good. Okay anyway this pull. The web poll is brought to you by RB computing. That's some bad storms lately.
