A lot of lawns are turning Brown and not looking too great right now. Part of that is because they have dried up. It's gotten drive he hadn't noticed. Some lawns. Some areas have had good rain. Farther south, you go the more rain they've had, but But other areas are very, very dry. And there has been quite an influx of armyworms a week or two ago, and they will strip the The blades off Bermuda grass, and so if you have Bermuda grass, and you find that you just have wiry stems left out there that maybe what happened? It's a good idea to fertilize your lawn with an all nitrogen, high quality fertilizer with 30 35% of that nitrogen is slow release form and then water it in well and and the grass will rebound pretty quickly. So that would be, I guess. Maybe a fairly common question for this time of year and responsible will just give that attribution to whiskey Stone since 1983 the experts at whose you stone have been fulfilling dreams of people like Neil Right and left. All the time. I love this place, and it's so much fun to tell you about it. I met my cuisine and when I was doing my all Texas All Gardens show at the Arlington Convention Center. And I said, Well, who is that guy and I went over to see what is you stone right after that, and have been a very faithful customer, and also a very proud advertiser for them. Ever since you love this place 22 acres inside, you'll be greeted when you go in there in their sales building and you'll be helped. They have really hopeful sales staff will take you around. Show you the different stone stone for every purpose in your landscape, whether you're putting in a petty or drive or whether you're putting in a walkway whether you need a retaining wall whether you just want decorative stone. Maybe the river rock like I mentioned to Chris for For a retaining area of a bed. Maybe you need decorative gravel. Uh, you could also get boulders. "Distill that brilliance down into simple practical advice that you can use right away. It's eight minutes it's four questions on. Its one practical piece of advice that you can put into use today. Hello and welcome to another episode of the art. Vibrancy podcast today. You are so lucky today. Because i am with sarah sperry sarah. How are you today and tell our audience from. I'm great. thank you for having me so great to chew. I and speaking from the bay area just right outside san francisco and the heart of silicon valley lavar such a lovely area. Are you know the south of the city. Just south of the city of best thirty minutes. Right right oh well. I was in a a little town called san carlos. California just one. Yeah i know. Just where. I was in san louis obispo for a few unifil college town college town. Yeah yeah loads of students fantastic. So i'll just tell the audience a little bit about your first. Sarah is mother of three living in the heart of silicone valley. She's a citified health and wellness coach and nasm certified personal trainer. She helps empower busy women to create lasting change in order to live more balanced lives. She particularly enjoys helping female executives who are constantly on the go to navigate their health and their fitness challenges. Absolutely brilliant yes. You're doing good in the world. Sarah kgo eight minutes for questions sarah. What's in europe. Experience is the biggest problem people face as they age with regard to staying healthy well. I'm positive yeah good question so in my practice i mostly see as you mentioned. Introduction women professional in executive women that are managing a multitude of task throughout the day. So i think the number one challenge that i see my practice is really helping. People manage their chronic stress their burn oxygen as you know. Chronic stress can cause a multitude of health issues zaidi panic attacks. High blood pressure inflammation in this can all lead to chronic diseases. So usually there's a lot of warning signs and you know if those warning signs are dealt with and acknowledged than kind of solve for resolve the chronic stress burnout. The problem is live in a super noisy. Were all i think. The number one roadblocks that people come up against is being able to manage their day to day this noisy world so we have emails that were constantly checking constantly looking at alerts on our phone in social media. There's news headlines constantly being thrown at us which allowed to distraction in our day to day. So you know. We're managing meetings obviously during a coca economy. It's been even more stressful. Managing our kids at home and working from home in so my program might my health. Pitching businesses really focused on helping women. Try to manage all this. Try to solve for kind of all this craziness in the day to yeah so stress created by overload. Mostly absolutely yes. Yeah we are trying to pack a lot into our days and you know. Advances in technology are easing had made our lives much more productive but at the same time we're being thrown our our brain to having a hard time keeping up with everything trying to do this information flying says. Oh absolutely absolutely anyway we could talk forever about not so fantastic so second question sarah. What's the mistakes people have about solving that problem that misconceptions they have about as well. Yeah i think. The number one misconception that i that i hear from women is busy women. Is you know. I just got back from vacation. I went to a beach relaxed for a week. And i felt amazing. I felt great. And now that i'm back and i'm back in my day to day and trying to manage everything trying to manage my anxiety and my you know my urnov symptoms are back so i think the i think the number one misconceptions i can go take vacation at can solve all my problems. Problem is when you come back. You know if you if you haven't really worked to implement lifestyle changes and kind of put better boundaries so that you can manage to stay focused all symptoms come right back and and that's really what my program kinda help suisse's in six simple steps. We basically dive in. I have a three month and six month auction where we dive in. We talked about topics. Eating reduce inflammation reinvention. Your workouts to help better manage stress. We do a session on mindfulness meditation. So he really really talk about a lot topics that can help. You implement lifestyle changes to help better manage stress. So it's the whole person. So the misconception. Is i can take a break from it. All and come to it and i'll be fine but yes people need to address the symptoms. And then were don't they and that's where a coach comes in like yourself. Sounds absolutely yep and you know i think none. None of this is rocket science. But i think the problem. Is we all forget in our day to day. Are busy day two days to do the things you need to do to take care of ourselves and so if you take an hour of your day usually it's one out or every other week. Coaching program set up as we can think of it as just an hour twice a month to take care of yourself and that's kind of how how i pitch it to people if you think about that two hours a month to focus on yourself. That's really not that much time in the. Thanks for the accountabilities. So lily were doing great. Three minutes left so question number three. What's the number one tip. You could give to our audience to help them today. So something tangible and specific that they could actually do away after the session today after this. Yeah so this is really simple and it sounds a little funny but i recommend to my clients to write out five small things that make you happy. They don't have to cost a lot of money. They can be super simple so it can be something as simple as lighting a candle or reading a magazine or a book for pleasure. That's not work related or a special like tea or coffee ritual that you like to drink so i recommend people stick them either on your mirror or on a computer monitor somewhere where you can see them and i recommend that you try to do re of those things on day so it sounds kind of simple in funny like i said but i think like we talked about in a.

We're talking about deer resistant plants, and I fear that you are looking for Something that may or may not be achievable. You're looking for a plant will cause dear not to want to come onto your property is that it? No, really, We're we can't keep the deer all we're looking You. There seems to be yes, I'm here. Do you hear me? Yeah, I do now. Yes, I'm sorry. We were looking for cat meant which we understand, dear. Don't like the smell of To put around our flower beds and everything, but the only cat meant we've been able to find is one Species at Calloway's And that catnip the deer like just fine, So we're trying to find out where we could. What other nurses are healthy. You look for some more. Types of cat mint. All right. Uh, you're saying cat mint and not catnip? Correct? Well, I think catnip is a form of cat meant No, I think they're I think they're different. You're probably kind of late in the season to be looking for unusual herbs. Um You might try North Haven gardens. You might call them in Dallas and see what they have. They typically have had a pretty good selection of herbs, always through the years, so that would be a starting point. I would think Um and whether it's going to work or not, I don't know. Um, I don't speak to that while I was in the news break. I did. As I said, I would do do some research because I knew that there was a very good article. And, uh, I'll mention it to you whether you know if you want to write down what I'll give you that be great. And if if, if not, then there are others who will Because this is a question that comes up periodically deer or not yet a major problem in the Metroplex they are to the West and Southwest, and that's probably where you are. This is called deer resistant landscape plants. It is a Texas A and M publication. Uh and it is from San Antonio from Bear County B e X, A R Bear County and the man who has authored this. I know. And that is forest. Appleton Forest is with two R's forest Appleton. He works with my very good friend, Dr Jerry Parsons as his assistant. And I think it may be a volunteer position. But Forest is a retired Texas certified nurse your professional. He has assembled a lengthy list of deer resistant plants, not what you're looking for, but deer resistant plants. I'm not aware of anything that's going to repelled, dear. From the edge of a flower bid. I think that is bogus. I think they'll just lean over. Um, I want to read and this list is quite lengthy and I want to read a paragraph that I was looking at. Um That that he has put into this list. I read the whole story during the news kissed. Um and This one paragraph Much has been written and said about what the serious gardener can do to lessen the impact of deer in his landscape. That's usually includes a listing of those plants that deer are not supposed to like in the unqualified, unqualified statement. That repellents exist, defend them off your prized plants. I have found these writings and proclamations to be of little value to the person who is trying to put some variety into his landscape and do his share to improve the beauty of his surroundings. At the end of this article, I will list those plants which I through trial and error have found to be least bothered by the deer. So he is acknowledging that there's a lot written. That is pretty bogus. And I have found that to be the case as well. He has a lot of plants listed in here that I know to be resistant and forest works with Jerry Parsons on a lot of things, one of the things being the production of the red, white and blue blue bonnets. And I just They're a great team. So anyway, I would. I would commend that to you. It's extension, education and bear County deer resistant landscape plants in easy Find online with that search. Okay? Okay. I do appreciate your help, Neal. You bet you, Bob. Good luck with it. And I know I know how quickly they can decimate things. I helped our son redo his landscape this spring, The joy was yelling at everybody in their neighborhood. To get it redone because of the cold damage, and we put a bunch of Holly's in and rabbits stripped all of his dwarf Burford Hollies. I mean, just absolutely stripped them. And if rabbits leaf, those deer will eat anything, and so it's just so frustrating. So, anyway. Good luck with appreciate your call. Wayne is in Weatherford. "Do you have any ideas to which you attribute that to. Yes i do. The further re move away from religion. And i'm not talking about catholicism. I'm and not just christianity but any type of religion that whatever your preferences the more terrorists down our society in the nuclear family and if you look at i'm people believed in god thirty or forty years ago and i think it was seventy or eighty percent in the numbers almost dropped another twenty percent from that number. I think it drives the nuclear family further apart. I really do believe the more we take face out of our wives out of the workplace out of things that we hold near and dear that i think it. It really has the nuclear family. And i would say that is the number one. Cause of the break-up of the newer nuclear family is the lack of belief that there's a god. I listened to hear this for the first time. But that is what i am. Feeling is the focus of the next chapter of the next chapter and that is a focused not on a particular religion but on the divinity that created the universe. And it's within the universe and that will we align with that. We are lined with intention and i think family and nuclear nuclear family are in the divine intent of what of the way we were created. I think that is so important. And i said i wanted to close with that. I just wanna get people an idea of how exemplary an unusual your family is. How many just just kind of give me numbers without going into a lot of explanation. How frequently do you gather together as a whole as an entire family We probably well. It's hard during the pandemic to save out but typically at least twice a month like what you would experience typically at a christmas holiday that type of event we experience at least twice a month but because there are six kids. There's always to the three. That are here almost daily like when i walked in i had grandchildren from three different families as i as i walked in the door. And that's why i'm hiding in in my study here I think they left now to go home but That is not uncommon three days a week to have some of the grandchildren over. We're very fortunate all our grandchildren right now. Live in orange town so Newport beach to down the street. Kelly lives in orange county. Kelly kelli ribs in studio city. But i need as far as the grandchildren. All or local is far. Our children go. I know kelly right. She's in australia. They'll be back at the end of the month and bet within twenty four hours. She'll be at our house. She is so starved to see the family. She's never been awake for two months. And so this is a big deal and see facetime every every other day are eating. Australia's morning aaron. When it's evening here and i see all the kids at least once a week all and And so i mean who gets to see that you know when they they're married families are now and typically. It's defending who. It is two to three times a week. So i really enforcing it that that investment i made really kate off. And just you know happenstance..

"That there'a were they're gonna were there any in life and and the maturity level or as you mentioned i. I have have scholarships for kids have twenty seven scholarships and the number of them for Young adults teenagers through college. And i read some of their bios and i look at them. Mega these kids really have their head on straight. They're very mature for the race. They're gonna really well and it wasn't all all about. The grades is about you know extracurricular activities and and even how the outlook on life at a young age and that that can news more impressive than just the gpa. so And i saw with my own kids. I knew that this is gonna be these. Kids are gonna do fine as long as both near next day on. Make sure they do well in college and graduate and get jobs and the funny thing is. None of them are likely to our that six. And they're they're son-in-law's work or somebody in the other. Four are entrepreneurs as well as as my daughter's a couple of them are just stay home moms and one of them has a an event planning business for wedge. Of course not just your ordinary. What each quite successfully. Yeah yeah. She's hiding stuff so she down reality television doing a wedding whole season that and so they all have had markers in their life think that they done that. I'm like wow. Now you don't wanna i wanna get you rand is what are the im- puts that lead children to that. And as you were explaining your your combo package with raising your children with you and rosemary and and with rosemary's Love is that is not. Do you feel that. Love is much more kat than it is taught as his family. Commitment is kat not taught. You know you. You can say all these words but if you don't if you don't demonstrate them in your life your children are not going to get them. They're just false words. Dan my god you hit the nail on the head. You're so right it isn't about what you say it's what you do. We heard that since we were yay high and and it's so true the example and you know they would write me in fact next time. You're over charlie. I'll show you something that have phrased that the union for my fiftieth birthday and it all six of them you know wrote like a couple of paragraphs about how they felt about me and else it was just. It was all about you. Teach by example union when they were young when we go on a trip or something if there was a piece of real estate. I haven't see they would..

"In for biden million dollars were the couldn't that hurt us and you know. Why are you opening another offices in that risky. You know that type of stuff. She wasn't that way at all. I'd say yeah we're gonna open up an office in the highest. Oh that sounds good. When when can i go down and check it out. Y'all back she was not a risk adverse type of partner and so she was very supportive. Thought you know. If i do something it'll turn out just fine. She actually got me to believe that that influence you know if we're having to fight internally at home about what you're trying to do in business and what you're trying to what you're trying to pursue the goals and your objectives and your hopes if if you're not in sync with your wife it's not a pretty picture and you know one thing. I have to tell the audience. I just you. That's how we decided to do the podcast this week. Because i saw you at one of our favorite restaurants in tustin. California beast solves bistro. And you happen to be there with a with another individual before your family came and we were chatting. Rosemary then came with With the wife of the man you were with and two children were there and they kind sat separately and within five minutes. The children were surrounding rosemary. And it's just that that. Rosemary is is the pied piper of children. And i think she's a pied piper of human beings. Everybody's sort of sort of goes to rosemary and it. Is you know from my perspective. It is that she's interested in you. She's karen she's non-judgmental but she's also candid you know. She's refreshingly candid and tells you her beliefs and whether she agrees with you or not. She's not going to condemn you for the beliefs. But she is very candid about where she's at she's just. I've always said that my wife is the rock of my foundation in my home in it. And i don't know if that's true for you but that feels that way with rosemary. Well i couldn't agree more. I mean you're right. I if you your spouse's adverse to what you wanna do and i've seen it with real estate brokers in our company where the i could see so much potential but their wife was so nervous about when the next commission's coming in that you know for you know if they're out of the business and i'm like well based on that marriage he probably shouldn't be business and vice versa. You know men not wanting to their white in our business because it is a male dominated business. But i found actually the men are for the most part were darned support of of of of their wives in the brokerage business. Too so Because i need them. When we'd have these company that he needs to spouses and and the successor ones. Their spouse was extremely supportive. I think it's it's gotta be that way in order to be successful but you brought up something about she's very candid and that is what attracted me to her. Almost immediately favorites honor fine undermined and as you get older does rock and movie. We're looking at watching a movie last night in a it was I can't think of the name of it took place in australia. One thousand nine hundred eighty one and and so. This woman was her teeth really stepping. She was laughing in the scene. And i'm thinking for teeth. Her teeth or shot by. Of course the next word of mouth is oh my god look at her and we still out. Can we know what each other sticky and and in in we'll say it out loud now. It's like unbelievable how in think we are on some on silly stop you. We're not trying to impress people and give them a bunch of bs you know. She just acts the way she is. And it's very refreshing for me. It's been that way my whole life..

"Is just. It's just not possible. So he says he wants to work on his family and then a second career after his family is reached a certain age. And it sounds like you know that is that that's your commitment that he just aligning himself with your comment and you also said something that really interests me ran and you said it was fun. This is see. That's that's the thing. I think we look at life so so obligatory that we think you know we're committed to do this and committed an in it and it takes it out of it. Takes it into a different space that takes it into a must do space. And if i don't do it do it. Then shame on me rather than into commitment for joy and passion. I love what i'm doing and i think in doing that. Some may say you're lucky. I would say it's not luck. It's that your believed that you you set an environment for luck to happen that you you create a lucky fertile soil for luck to two emerged as kind of disaster thought. Mean anything to you. Yeah yeah. I mean you don't to add to that the fact is is that you can't be self there's to execute on this plan. You can't be assist. you can't be you know. I'm thirty years old and i. I got to live my life while i'm young. Then go out and have a family. That doesn't work in my opinion to really have a successful family. You gotta be thinking not just about yourself but about your family so you know when it comes to even your job or like for example my partner and i. We had a an agreement that we wouldn't get on an airplane until our kids were at least in high school. That was really the case. We didn't expand our company For years we were just so southern california and then we went to phoenix and well. That's a one hour flight. I would go to phoenix. Visit with the office and come home. No one in the house would know you could catch like an alien white. Be home by five or six and don't know any even knew. I was in phoenix that day. So phoenix was defection I would probably go there once a month or twice a month but we get travel. All our ownership of real estate with southern california are brokerage with southern california and so that gave us time to be with our families and you know a lot of guys after work. In fact you hear you know when you're watching television Afterward well let's go out and get a drink. I never did that. Stop unless it was for a business purpose. I went home to enjoy my family. And so i i did. I never felt it to be an obligation. I i enjoyed that. And that's really. Why working because. Honestly if i didn't have a family i already have what i want. You know in terms of already been in a situation could have a place on the beach and a fancy car and all that but you know without without those other people in your life i. I don't think that's so much fun so so rant. What i wanna do. We're gonna take a break. And then i want to come back and i want to spend the rest of our time on the sperry clan and your love for them and there is i've witnessed it their obvious love for us. So let's take a quick break and we're gonna come back. We're going to vote devote our time to family time..

He said son either become a corporate lawyer or a commercial real estate broker. And i thought that was really interesting. That was really the basis for a lot of this and it was because he was an avid reader. He he got out of high school with his ged because he He didn't finish high school When he was young he finished it. When i was a little kid. And so you know. He didn't have a huge education but he was very street. Smart you know one of our warriors from world war two at bronze star and purple heart and really bought in that war on the ground in the infantry so when he got out of that he finished his education highschool education and you know he was a big influence. And then my mom was you know just A stay at home mom and make sure we stay in line but to have a good time. Both of them did it was really. It's just a couple because they weren't your typical mom and dad of the fifties and sixties. I had a good good family unit. There and i had an older brother that was three years older than me. And so it's just the the two boys and my parents and they they were fine. I wasn't scared of them. They didn't treat me poorly. They were very positive and pathetic. I remember even when i started in the brokerage business back. Then you didn't have a cell phone so people. I give them my home phone number and my dad or mom got a phone call from a perspective buyer. Vegas tracked me down. 'cause they knew time was of the essence on getting these deals that you know we wanted to get right back to these people and so they were really helpful and supportive of what i was doing. Yeah we're gonna get into that later but the supportive family is just as we're going to. I hope discover. Today is how critical. That is just before we do that. As i said you're a business business. Breaking Through as a Challenger Brand in a Dominating Industry with Michael Landa

"Michael say what's up to fire nation and share something interesting about yourself that most people don't know probably feared asked people my office they would not know was trying to think earlier is one thing that they definitely would not know about me and that is that up until about I'd say probably a couple of years ago I could still do a standing backflip in my office. So Yeah. I kinda grew up as a competitive gymnast when I was in high school and then I was non-american swimmer. So I mean swimming was really my main sport. But I competed a lot on the floor exercises in gymnastics as well, which is something people most people don't know about me. I've just always had this feeling that if I ever tried a standing backflip immediately tear my MC l. that's just a thought that I I don't know why I had that thought that's why I said for years ago try. Not Going to happen. So fire nation as I shared the talking all about teaching an old dog new tricks and my guest today has launched a company called New Loewe, which is a combination of the words nutrition and love. So that Super Cool New Loewe and why Michael I mean, you went to business school why did you decide to start a pet food company before the PETRIE company? Kind of the Genesis of the Food Company was a company I started? Before new I, I'd spent the early part of my corporate career working for big companies. I used to work for is your oxen in General Electric, and then most recently with universal studios in. Two thousand one that I was in L. A. and I was taking a quick break and. I found I. Don't know how many of you have been through the experience of trying to find a pet sitter for your pet. I went through an experience, sperry the detail, but basically led me to leave universal and start what became the nation's largest at home pet sitting dog-walking training business. Is based in Los Angeles and we. I spent about a decade running that company and was it was in and of itself was a really cool business about one, hundred, eighty five. Pet Sitters dog walkers doing roughly eleven thousand a month all over Greater La, and you know the significance of that was I was you know we're on the front lines of feeding a large population of dogs and cats whether parents were traveling and over the course of the decade I really started to see a huge demand for pet sitters who could administer at home insulin shots, and this is for diabetic dogs and cats, and we eventually it started to stress the business where I couldn't hire that tax and and trained my sitters to give shots fast enough and you know one thing I was trained academically as a biomedical engineer. So I I can be annoying and in my ability to kind of. Dig for root causes and that's exactly what I did in this case is you know I started asking myself like what what's happening why are so many pets getting sick why are so many dogs and cats getting diabetes and? I went out and talking to vet schools and scientists around the country and you know what I learned wasn't I'm GonNa say it wasn't really rocket science but it was you know essentially that are pets are living in in their own version of fast food nation we have you know we we have a country where four. A large large conglomerates control over eighty percent of the pet food sales in the United States and you know these are the very companies that make candy, chocolate, Jelly and cereal right. These are these are the four that control eighty percent of our pet food distribution the US. So you know. Really. The majorities are really low in meet their high in carbohydrates, these high glycemic ingredients. They're marketed very well but unfortunately, dogs and cats can't use the food for themselves otherwise, they choose products that are high in meat. That's one of the reasons you know I. Before I even gave it much thought I was leading Los Angeles moving to Austin Texas and I started new Loewe with the objective of creating a food platform. That's more species Pacific for dogs and cats at high in meet low in carbs and look like

COVID-19 Escalates but Biotech Bright Spot in Trillium Therapeutics

"So again. I'm glad to be back and appreciate everybody's attention today. And we have an extensive show ahead of us so I'm going to talk about a variety of different things. I WANNA touch on some latest biotech news a menu to talk about the vijen earnings report that. I said I would get to so. There's a few interesting tidbits. There have to talk about the covert nineteen story because that's been really blowing up and I think there are significant implications for the market. And then I'm GONNA finish up by talking about the latest in the anti CD. Forty seven technologies and specifically. I'm going to focus on trillion but also gonNA touch on T. G. Therapeutics so at that. Let's just get right into it. And the first piece of news I had to mention. Is that a sperry on recently. Heard News that they're two compounds. Were approved by the FDA. The one is just the paddock acid pill which they've named it next next little and the dog acid is it. Ahmad Combo pill was also approve. Called next Zet so good news for them. They finally breached the finish. Line are GONNA be able to sell these products. The stock did KINDA BUMP UP AFTER. This news came out but then with all the News Cove Nineteen. The stock did sell off. And I think it's hanging around fifty bucks I still have ten shares. Probably GonNA sell relatively soon just to you know take the prophets and look for more opportunities that have larger chance of bringing a return on my investment but great news for them. The next piece of news I want to talk about is and we heard that they are exploring a potential buyer according to Bloomberg. We haven't heard too much confirmation since then but in the past week we've seen the stock runup quite significantly and it looks like there's a good chance that somebody could pick them up. I'm still holding only about ten shares unfortunately but I'm probably going to sell them just because I feel like we've heard a lot of these rumors once in a while. And often times they don't come to fruition Annan. Pretty happy with the Prophet made so far and given it's only ten shares. I think I might again sell these enda and look for other opportunities. That are coming around the next piece of news. I want to talk about his ammon. And they have been all over the place lately We heard that they released some post trial documents. Because they're undergoing this litigation right now to maintain exclusivity for their patents and you. I kind of glanced at them. I don't really know what to make of them. We're still waiting for a judgement to come down and we'll see that. Relatively soon I think and negativity around the stock. I think is going to be uplifted once that goes through. And we should see a return. All-time highs I've been adding the stock as it's been down and it's pretty heavy in my portfolio now so. I still think that they're goodbye here. The next piece of news on touch on is the latest from the American Society of Retina specialists. And this is because I have touched on wet. Amd in previous videos by interested in this space and they announced that Bayview patients and this is the drug for wet amd that was recently approved by Novartis and this a s R s society issued a warning about fourteen cases of retinal vascular disease with eleven of those being occlusive retinal vascular. Now this can be actually pretty serious condition. That can lead to permanent blindness. So it's It's fair for the society to to issue a warning to people who are considering this therapy especially given that. There are other therapies. That don't have this risk that have been approved in in circulation for awhile now. Nevada stands by view. And they said that. There's been an estimated. Forty six thousand injections done a bill view so far and they did not see that this happened in their phase three trials they did mention there were sixteen cases of ubiquitous and nine cases of Iras. But they still stand by their own compound and they're saying that they're doing post market surveillance to see that's going to be a problem but When this news came out we saw that Novartis Kinda dipped and regeneration stock increase quite a bit just in the expectation that more people are gonNA stick with Lia which is the drug that was approved. That's been approved for a lot longer than bayview and there are more frequent injections. But it's obviously more safe. So all of this could be prevented if re-genesis BIOS drug there gene. Therapy for wet. Amd can hit the market and then patients would only really need one injection hopefully to To prevent Amdi from happening. So that's kind of an interesting thing going on with the amd space so to hit the major stories that I want to talk about today though. We're GONNA talk about biogen. The cove in nineteen esscalation. And then I have here. That Gilead announced that they're going to buy the company named forty-seven for four point. Nine billion dollars and this is worth mentioning because the company talking about which is trillium also has an anti CD forty seven antibody in hopes of using it for hematological malignancies but also potential in solid tumors. So we're GonNa talk about that as the feature story but first thing. I want to talk about his budget so I went through the earnings report and I have touched on by. Jin on a number of different occasions in this podcast. And I think it's a really interesting company being in that kind of mid to large cap space what they announced that their revenue went up seven percent year over year. And amongst all of that the MS franchise was actually down four percent year over year. But what they did is they included cruise. Which is an anti CD. Twenty compound but it's also used to treat ms so they included that in the press release to make the overall year over year revenue increase by two percent. And I think they did this. Because the franchise itself up sixty percent of by toll revenue so to show that that franchise is actually increasing has kind of beneficial from a PR standpoint. They also announced that verity was approved for relapsing. Ms And we did hear that last year. Visionary is similar detector but it has fewer Gi side effects so this was approved it was shown to be non inferior to tech Videira so this is just adding to its. Ms Franchise is going to be continuing to prevail in being a large revenue generator. For by. John. I believe we also saw and I mentioned this last time that the Texas air decision was positive for biogen. So that compound is can also be protected. Biden's going to maintain its exclusivity. So that's good news for that. I don't see the franchise decreasing substantially. It's probably only going to increase with the vulgarity. Approval there are competitors coming on the space but given that by agendas so many MS compounds right now. That are pretty effective. I think it's going to be a continual driver of revenue for the company now in terms of the upcoming revenue generator spin. Rosza is is one of those that's done in the market for. I think almost a year now and revenue increased nine point three percent year over year which is great and this franchise makes up fifteen percent of total biogen revenue so that has increased over the past few quarters. I think as I as I looked at this and they did mention here that we expect the rate at which spinner is a revenues will grow will moderate in twenty twenty compared to twenty nineteen primarily due to a lower rate of new patients starts combined with the impact of loading does dynamics as patients transition from dosing every four months so the way the payment system works for. Spin Rosza is that it costs seven hundred fifty thousand for the first year and then subsequent loading years just cost three hundred seventy five thousand Subsequently so we see this big boost in revenue. When there's a lot of new patients starts and then it Kinda tapers off as patients or just getting that loading dose. So I think that's why they're saying that. Revenues will moderate because the amount of new patient starts is actually decrease and I think this is due to vexes. Launch of excess Novartis is launch of their own therapy for spinal muscular atrophy. So I think as that competition continues the amount of revenue that's generated by spin. Raza is GonNa flat now and patients who likes Raza will probably stay on it but I think that that increased competition. It's still going to harm the new patient start so I don't see this space necessarily increasing too much now. Other things to consider is the repurchase program and this boost the stock price pretty substantially in the last year they repurchased twenty four million shares and that was a cost of five point nine billion dollars and by my calculation that means in the current repurchase program they have about twelve million shares to continue to buy and their net. Cash is still three point. Five billion dollars so they have a lot of cash on hand to buy current shares that are outstanding which is only going to support the price of the Stock. Amd space these two compounds are the current kind of establish treatment for wet amd with view just recently being added the size of the market for I league in Los Angeles is eleven billion dollars but these are going to be biosimilars and as we know. Biosimilars don't generate nearly as much money as the actual panel drug the current by similar. That biogen has day only make about one tenth of the revenue of the panel

That's what I hear. A twelve by on a chip. Yeah I'm still on the third generation and I'm happy with my third generation but you won't be when it fails when the next one comes out. That's a great question. I I'm gonna put baking baked on hold because I wanna spend I was trying to run away from Solomon during guys. I I really was. I I wasn't in a good place. Mentally, I just couldn't figure out why I'm the bad guy. When stuff happened to me that I had no control over and also that I never wanted to happen. And I've always been the bad gain the English channel for some reason. And he gets old any made me feel motivated. But I I don't know what I hit. I don't I don't know. Exactly. What was that moment where I was like are you going to spend your life, again just worrying about what others it's not what others thinker Said's what others feel about. You know, I'm not I'm just gonna keep enjoying myself. And do what I wanna do because I have a mission, and I don't know where these energy came from. And I don't know where this second wind came from. It just feels so strong. It feels like backing the gang days, if you will it feels like that times eight hundred because of all the stuff that we have going on because of all the stuff that we've done so far because of because we've proven ourselves I mean a fucking year ago a year and a half ago. I was like I'm going to close all my channels. I'm just gonna stop uploading sell a Monday, and and I had about six hundred fifty thousand subscribers total on YouTube. And in a year and a half that I've just been kinda working not really working, you know, so hard on it. I went up to four and a half million between English and Spanish, and I know that to a lot of people you're a lot of people who are the same people. It's not to me that was a huge huge sign that I was on the right path. There's no other site from Kuka. I don't think there's another car channel that has more followers. Maybe not on the same channel maybe on the same channel. Yes. I mean, the I've on Selam the more. But whatever. But who knows what the hit three million just alone some at four and a half million people just on those disciples Spanish channel has half a million people that are different from Selam window. That's five million people. So that's not a sign of. No, no, stay where you are. You're doing pretty well. I don't know what the fuck is in that just truly truly truly. I'm so grateful for it. And I'm so thankful for it. Because this is what I love doing. This is your -tunities that I wanted as a kid. This is this is what I've always wanted to do. So I'm just going to fucking do it. Right. And I'm going to do it better than everybody else because that's my job. And that's what I wanna do. So either way dirty five thirty five garage saying you turning to Solomon dingo debating swinging dick of the car world. Everyone got the penis envy. Call. Hey, I don't know if that's true or not.
