A highlight from God's Fire - The Expression Of His Love To Know Me

"Welcome to live behind the veil and atmosphere where men and women of God speak his word to this age and bring his kingdom to this earth. Do you have ears to hear and eyes to see what God is doing in this hour? Let us join our host and the family's conversation as the Holy Spirit is unfolding. The word behind the veil. Hello, podcasters. I'm Ron your host, and today we're going to be talking about God's fire. Have you experienced God's fire in your life? Well, today we're going to initiate by faith the fire of God in our lives. He comes and refines out of us. The impurities that need to go in our lives so that we can stand in his presence. Because our God is a consuming fire. I am so thankful for all of the experiences and trials that meetings with the lord and things that I've been through. Because they produce a stability. Right. In your life, I don't have those ups and downs anymore. As far as my walk with the lord and faith, for that solid as a rock, there's a foundation there. You bet. You bet. When you're walking like this and God's putting you through the fire, and because they went through it, they're going to rule in rain with him. If you haven't gone through the fire and you haven't had all that stuff burned out, you're not going to be one of those that are going to rule in rain with him. And it's a choice. It very much, very much. I wanted to read here out of Matthew 7 because Ron and I talked about this some time ago, really kind of created a fear of the lord in our hearts. This is 21 through 23. Not everyone who says to me lord lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. But he who does the will of my father, many will say to me on that day, lord lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in her name cast out demons, and in your name perform many miracles, and then I will declare to them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness. I know people raising people from the dead, healing the sick, and I wonder, is it the lord doing that through him? Revelations gives a warning about that. If he doesn't know you, you better go talk to him and say, put me through the fire now because I want you to know me. I don't care how much I know you. If you don't know me, if you don't know me, I'm in trouble. That haunts me, that really. That scripture that you're talking about right there, Alan, is just huge. Yeah. Because I'm saying this with not anything but just the love in a brokenness for people, but there are so many Christians out there that feel like they're good people. And they probably are good people. Yeah, they're good people. But your goodness isn't going to cut it. No. It's only Christ nature that's going to cut it with the father. He's looking for his son's nature in you. That's why he deals with you or he wants to deal with you daily, he's trying to burn out the dynamic nature and he's trying to impart Christ nature, because there is a Judgment Day. There is a line that's drawn in the sand. There is a time that it's too late. Yes. You know, there really is. Unfortunately for those who refuse, the dealings in the fire and all this at God's lovingly trying to bring to our hearts, then there's no choice, but a terrifying expectation of judgment, and it's what the scripture says, it's a terrifying thing to fall in the hands of a living God. Well, it's terrifying for who, for those who won't submit, that's right. Won't cement won't open up to the lord's dealings now. And it's all love. It's his love. We may not see it that way as human beings, we were going through the fire, well, look at a little child. He doesn't really appreciate you when you're disciplining him in spanking him. But you know as well as I do without that, he's not going to be asset to society. It's the same thing with the spiritual side. You're not going to be a blessing or something that God can use, or wants to be in his kingdom, if you won't receive the discipline and the fire now. It's just that simple really. That is. Do you want to be a son of God? There you go. Do you want to walk in his presence? To want to have the fullness of Christ in you, then you've got to go through the steps of the fire. That's part of what you have to do. Someone should talk about the ten virgins. Yeah. I was just thinking the same thing. Dan, I don't like that scripture scares me because you've got ten versions they've all been purified. They've gone through the fire. And they're in a heart, isn't full of his presence, and isn't full of the Holy Spirit. And the door shuts and they're out. And I'm like, oh my God. Christ came baptizing with the Holy Spirit and fire. And it's now in this time that we're starting to understand the fire. We're seeing that, yes, we've walked in a measure of the fire, but there's so much more to it at its been reserved for this day based upon how the fire has worked in our lives. Yeah. Search meal God, and know my heart, we talk about the unseen, restrictions, the unseen chains. That's the point. They're unseen. You're not aware of them. But the Holy Spirit is aware of them, and sometimes you go through things in, you know, you've been trying to walk with the lord with all of your heart. You're really, really pursuing him. And then the fire gets hotter. Yep. It's because you are pursuing. It's because you are reaching in that the fire gets hotter because he's burning off those things as you're not even aware of that's restricting you. Even good things, even things that you would call God. In your life, or maybe we're God in your life. Older levels of walking with him, he's got to set you free from those things so that you can go up higher, and to a deeper level with them in a deeper relationship, how are you going to do that? There's no way you're going to do that because you cherish those things. Those are your isaacs. Yes. Yes. Will you talk about a hard thing? Yeah. Putting your isaacs, we call them isaacs, spiritualized spiritual meetings with the lords, things that God's worked in you that you cherish. Right? Here's Joe. I want to bless job. He's perfect in all his ways. What does he do? He puts the fire to his life. And burns, I mean, from outside on liquor, they're looking at job and they're kind of going, it looks like he's destroying him. Yeah. Yeah. And it's just not what he's doing. God's loving him. And he's going, I'm going to bring you closer to me. And at the end, job goes, you know, I knew of you, but now I see you face to face. In others an old Johnny Cash song going through my head right now. And you know what it is? The ring of fire. Bring a fire. And it burns burns burns at ring of fire. I went down, down, down, and the flames went higher. Ron, am I understanding you correct at this principle of the fire in the Holy Spirit is not new to the scripture? You know it sounds like maybe he started that right in genesis somewhere. When he promised Noah he would never destroy the world by water again, he decides to use fire and stand. Alan, when you said that thing about him destroying the earth by fire, it talks about how God has reserved fire, that that's supposed to be only for the Avalon as angels, but those who refuse to walk with the lord, and God we cry out for him right now. We really do. We cry out. We cry out for the ones that are unsaved. The ones that are running, the ones who don't even care, the ones that are totally indifferent. The ones that are rebellious, we cry out for him right now, lord. You know, we reach out by faith in our hearts with his love and disbelieve that we create an open door for all these. Satan should be so lonely in hell. Exactly. You know, he should get not one person, not one person on this earth, should he doesn't deserve to have one person on this earth. It should be left alone. Yes, not even the lame, the halt nor the blind will be left behind. You know, it was the first atom who brought sin into the world, and the second atom, or Jesus Christ, who brought life back and so, with that Ron, I'm standing with you because I believe that as soon as Satan is bound, then people are going to see the truth. For what it is. But people are accustomed to hearing Satan's lies that they don't know the truth. They don't know the truth about Salvation or what we're even talking about, you know? Right. I lose the hearts of people to open up to the father and hell family. Today we've experienced his word being that fire, which refines our spirits and that hammer, which shatters the rocky elements in our lives. So that we can become those vessels of honor and the pure offerings of worship that is pleasing in his sight. Experiencing the impartation of God's word through his family is life. Do You Need a United Front With Your My Partner When Parenting?

"You need a quote united front first of all. I hate the war imagery in parenting. It is not a war between the parents and the children. All right. I know i totally get that. Sometimes it can feel that way but if you and your partner are always on the same page and always have the same answer. that's great. That's wonderful that really actually helps enormously right. If you agree on the same parenting style rock on it does make things a lot easier because you help each other out. But it's actually false that you need to have a united front. It's simply not true. And why not because the truth is that we don't always agree with our partners and that's just part of life you know it's wonderful when you do agree and it works out really well when you both parent the same way. But you don't always have to agree. Plus if you are in this is the real clincher for me. If you're falsely united like if you're faking it then your child will see the lie behind that and they will learn not to trust you. You know if you pretend that that sewer belief because it's your partners belief than your child's gonna cosc- right through that they're gonna it's gonna start to undermine that trust which is really unfortunate because that trust is the reason why your child corporates of you. It's that connection that trust so you might think that you need to have your husband your partner on board to be able to make any changes your parenting style or method. But that's also really not true. Your partner may want to spank and punish and you may not feel that way and then to pretend that you do is simply ally that united front is ally. So we don't always feel the same way as our partner and we don't have to in mindful parenting. We acknowledged that you are more than just your role as your parent. You are a person and your child will see right through you if you pretend to be falsely united because kids have amazing. B s meters. They will see right through that and you'll undermine your relationship with your

The Burden of 'Stuff' and The Benefits of Letting Things Go

"I wanna tell you a story that happened to me when we first moved from house to apartment and this was a brand new apartment building it was spanking new. It was really really nice and we took a lot of care in in how we pleased things and got some new furniture so it was just a really light grey tone Apartment and it was a sunday afternoon. And brian was out so i had the place to myself and i wasn't teaching. I wasn't working. I was deliberately. Because i can work all day long and i was sitting on my couch looking at a book and i had this sense. Come over me this feeling. This visceral feeling of ease of peace. I couldn't put my finger on it. What is this. I mean yeah. I feel relaxed and rested sunday. I have nothing really to do on. I don't want to just work. I don't want to do anything. And i realized in that moment that i didn't have any house chores. I didn't have the burden of stuff over my head or on my shoulders. I didn't have a garage to clean. I didn't have a closet to clean out. I didn't have you know something to fix in the house. And you know if you're a homeowner you know there's always something you could be doing any of that. It was the most bizarre feeling almost felt. Like i was a kid. You know kids that are unburdened. It's like oh. I just get to go out and play now. I can't say that. I live in that all the time but i remember that vividly because it made me realize how much weight i feel or more way. Did i feel when burdened with stuff. So i'm encouraging you just to explore your own relationship to stuff to what are you holding onto. What are you holding onto. And why

COTAXfinity Recap, Busch Wins

"Nascar xfinity series race recap from circuit of the americas over the weekend. Rain made this one interesting for sure. But kyle busch dominated. He led thirty five of the forty six lap event. Kyle busch spanks the field with an eleven second lead coming to the checkered flag. In his ninety eight th career win in this series I think we had a really good piece. Just overall talking with dinger kind of felt like drive off was probably our biggest thing that we excelled that today. Just being able to keep the rear tires on the car longer being able to get the gas pedal down to make a away longer. Instead of sitting there modulating the gas and kind of playing with it and wasting time to get down that was the biggest thing almoner behind me. He was the closest that could keep up with me for about two laps. But i was always in front of him when we were close to each other. So i didn't I didn't really see how well he was through the ss or You know through the slow section stadium section over there to see if that's if he can make ground on me there keep up with me there or whatever so Yeah that's probably about about it all right. Aj alma dinger ends up second followed by justin all our kevin harvick and austin syndrich rounds out the top. Five point standings like this five to one justin all daniel hamrick. That a lot of chefs do or people that the hospitality world they do. You know the grandma to coke and the grandfather used to cook. i never had. That's really growing up was very simple food. you know. we're pretty humble family so there was not a lot of money so my mom did all the cooking and i remember i used to watch. "Our day in los angeles with ray and anna romano involved a little more staging than we were used to. That asked us to meet at a hotel near their home. Big Cameras. Big, Big Cameras And more

"Arguable as we've discussed here many in time. If a flagship body is needed anymore in today's world you know the ones. I'm talking about the behemoths. Usually with integrated grabs most of the time often seen in the hands of photo journalists sports photographers and rich guys. Who think it'll somehow make their photos better which it won't crazy expensive bodies that few people can even afford and fewer people really need these bodies used to be aspirational. They are the ones you wish you had. But then you learn that as cool as they are. They're hard to justify it unless you know that you're gonna make that money back or like. I said you're ridiculously rich. You've gotta be able to justify that great expense back in the day. When i dropped sixty five hundred bucks on our brand spanking new nikon d for us. That was an ultra moment. I actually made a face but at the time it made sense to get one now it would just be a luxury a camera. That wouldn't help me do anything better right now. A camera man for somebody knocking around iraq or afghanistan covering crazy wars and stuff. I'm not doing that so i don't need. A body like that. Described by nikon is quote an unprecedented imaging experience and quote the company z. Nine full frame mirrorless beast which is currently under development features. A brand new full frame affects seamus censor a new processor and eight k video video. Not historically being. The company's strong suit might add. We'll see how that all shakes out. This body isn't a reality at just in development but the company wants the world to know right now that it is coming and as you can tell. I'm not terribly excited about it. Sure they're cool but very few people really need this. That and i just don't see it as the best direction for a camera company to go in anymore especially if they're already struggling with sales like nikon is so far all we've seen as a photo. The z nine from the front along on a statement from the company saying that it will bring together. Nikon's quote groundbreaking technologies to deliver the best still and video performance in nikon history. I'm quote the company is also saying that. The z nine. As we can see in the released photo we'll have an integrated grab and this body. Quote embodies ultimate usability as tool offering users and unprecedented imaging experience from capture to workflow exceeding that of previous digital last are and murless cameras and quote. So for those still in denial. The company itself is telling us that they feel this camera. The z nine will bast every body that they've ever made that includes ds lars as well as merely us. You just don't make a statement like that unless it's true or you get completely excoriated by people. So the z nine had better. Live up to the hype. Now nikon rumors reports that this has been tested with both forty five as well as sixty megapixel sensors perhaps in trying to find that sweet spot of resolution versus low light ability and that other features include being able to shoot stills at twenty frames per second with a blackout free. evf also knows electronic viewfinder a sixteen bit robson a brand new menu system. Thank you. It was needed improved noise levels and better dynamic range and you know what all that sounds. Reasonable you know. These bodies are meant primarily for photo journalist. Sports sports shooters and the like and it's a happy balance of speed resolution and functionality. They also say that. The camera will be tested at the tokyo olympics. This summer. which you'll recall was postponed year due to covid nineteen and it's expected to be released sometime in the fall of two thousand twenty. One know people have largely moved on from the thinking that they need the flagship body even knowing they're probably never gonna own it because it's six thousand sixty five hundred bucks or so not to mention that these smaller bodies that have been out for years. Now we're talking. Mirrorless bodies are let's desired so thanks to well that being the only option amir us for so long small bodies that trained us into thinking that bigger is not necessarily better and it's up to these companies to decide whether or not this is where they want to spend their time their money no research and development time and costs and you that this point here in twenty twenty one. It's a luxury that they can no longer afford.

Sexual Initiation Techniques That Actually Work

"This person rates in from denver. He says i'm fifty nine. She sixty one been married for twenty. Six years were empty nesters. Living in cova times frequency is about two to three times a month. But it's gotten very pretty predictable. Can you help me with sexual initiation. I want to keep things fresh mo. We can try brandon. How do you initiate sex. Oh jeez sometimes. I'm very lazy. And i do the what is it. What do you call it the poco. I know you're there. And the other times i find that i do have to kind of push myself. I know that i enjoy sex. Knew that that. I know that you enjoy sex so i know that if i push myself to initiate that it's going to likely be a win win for all part but how do you initiate so. Yes the puck from behind like especially in the shower lately. Come into mcdonald's tang my towel on that. Just hold my towel. How old do i initiate. You feel like you're putting me on the spot. I mean the pope from behind his goto. What else do i do. You tell me so. I i tend to initiate sex by Touching caressing kinda stroking your body. I think that that's what works. And it's funny. Because as i'm saying what i do. I know that that's what works for me. Like i know that that sensuous touch is what relaxes me and kind of gets me into the head space physically and mentally into sex. Why do that when we're trying. I'm trying to initiate sex with you. Yeah you're very you're definitely physical. I think most people sink physically when they think about sexual initiation you. I guess i want to begin by talking about planting sex seeds. So this is from our latest book the book that i wrote with marla the ultimate guide to seduction and four play. And i make sure. I plug it so that you know that this is marlins work too because succeeds are actually her creation in. She describes them as seductive clues about what is to come in a future sexual experience so they can be planted in the morning. If you wanna get busy at night or you can plant them throughout the week before you meet and you know she says to really consider what type of sex. Your lover likes. So do they like it romantic. Do they like to be filmed. Are they publicly. Experimental and really think about an aerobic activity that you can plan on your own and plant a seed to set the tone so if your partner likes to be spanked. Maybe you're leaving a spanking instrument in their car like a paddle spoon from the kitchen. Or maybe you leave a photo of it in their purse or their briefcase or maybe you leave them a note in their lunch bag and text them a photo of it in your hands. You're the ideas. You're watering the succeed. Kind of leaving additional clues. And i know people aren't really going to work right now but still you have different areas of your home you can use and it. It's interesting 'cause marla reminds us that this whole process of planting succeeds can kind of offer a distraction to reduce stress overall. And help you to kind of weave eroticism throat your day to day interaction so i think the most important thing that i would want to emphasize that initiating sex can't really happen on the spot right. It is really about the way you interact at breakfast for the evening or on monday for

Armie Hammer Cannibalism Scandal

"Pointing. Oh fun at hampshire there is may seem frivolous to bring him up but i keep about armie hammer and i think we could talk about this in relation to where feminism is because i apparently armie hammer has a Predilection to Tell his dates. He wants to eat them and who wouldn't want eaten by army hamrick. Exactly my point. Thank you one honest woman. If armie hammer says i want to issue you're gonna say yes. But apparently there's something called ethical human cannibal finishes. No actual women were eaten in the making of this movie. We're just talking is how they have his tax rate saying things like. I want to take your rib out and voil it and eat with barbecue sauce. I don't know. I feel like this is just a subway. Stop past you know. I wanna spank you. But we're in such a porn centric society. People have been watching really hardcore porn. For so long that spank you doesn't really cut it anymore. Now i gotta take your rib out and part of you so anyway. The point is that the women who were objecting this now who went out with army willingly and stayed in willingly and apparently there was wasn't there wasn't physical bad stuff happening. Okay that would we would have a discussion that we'd all agree that's but if there's no physical coercion why isn't this just filed under. That seemed like a good idea at the time to let armie hammer eat me. But it really wasn't what it seems like. We don't have any ownership anymore of our own choices but there was some physical stuff right. Some some of the women have alleged that there was sort of slapping around one woman said. He carved his initials into her body. Tired down and do that. I don't know that's a good question. I don't think so. I'm just kind. You know like like how. How consensual are we sure that this was really consensual. If these women are now coming out and saying it wasn't wasn't that's the thing that they're saying it was creepy Which i don't want to invite the over for a barbecue just doesn't sound right this. I clicked on the about the cutting. Stop because i think it cutting which is a whole culture. It really creeps me out. It's wrong and i was expecting to be horrified. Tiny little bit letter. A. down here in which we're not right but it looks kind of like a tattoo gone slightly wrong and the person wasn't trying to get free when that thing was done. So what do you do with that as an outsider as a society. What do you do with those people. In that moment decides great idea to get like a penknife and carbon a into an abdomen and then afterwards feel bad about it. And i think society was at least something place with laws laws for that like press charges when something is not voluntary press charges when when ryan committed violence against you. But that doesn't seem like what the this

Now you are a guy who has to say has lived outside of the box is a is a gross understatement on through also speaker endurance athlete. You even a rapa. Most people probably wouldn't even know that because they're probably too young to know that you've done all that and at the same time one of the things you know what i speak about is being an authentic leader and one of the things that i've watched as i've watched over your history over all those years is changing. Hack your change. The way addressed bit. But jesse seems to have stayed the same told to us about the poll and the pressure to be something else. Start marquis jets. You probably felt puerto of suit and tie stain staying authentic. Yeah i think one of the reasons by the successful marquis jet in these other ventures. I've been able to fight through that impulse to to be something out. Not so i've always stayed in my lane by lane get a little bit different a little unconventional unorthodox. But it's my lane. And that's where i'm most comfortable in and I've always been able to keep my own spirit throughout all my different journeys. I've worn a lot of different hats. But i never really conform been you know one of the early lessons. I learned as an entrepreneur is the importance of differentiation in You know bor- boring doesn't really work. Always tried to not just be myself in. Its works for me and I always. I'm always asking myself of how different. How different house might teach different. But it didn't authentic way too so going back in time because you know i read about you being a couch surfer with revolt on a spot. Oh the council along the way while really sort of looking for yourself. is that pre the rap days aura. That after that no stink between the ages of nineteen to twenty two. I slept on. I think eighteen different couches. My friends couches all the way trying to figure out. Exactly what that may looked like for me Trying to land on my feet at a lotta egg on my face early at a lot of egg on my face later on in my life. I've had some big wins but part of the journey is having lost. His two and i was lucky man. When i started out i started out in the music. Business no connections my father on the plumbing supply house and i lived in la. I got signed to a record label. I got dropped from the label. And i moved back to new york with two things on my resume i was a kiddie pool attendant and i was rapper. That was going to get a job on wall street. So i relied on friends to take me in until i kind of found my way so i never forgot that. I've never forgot the opportunity that was afforded to me about people believed in nate. Even when i had nothing was a big part of of what ultimately shaped me a lot of times in my journey even marquee before the five billion sales that you mentioned there are a lot of times where this is gonna work. I can't do this. I'm not qualified No aviation experience. We had no airplanes while we started and But through that young those early days of couch surfing as you like to call it it. The tremendous guilt adjustments medic grit. And that was probably the number. One is saying grits the number one indicator of future success. But for me. That was a big a big thing that never accurately man even now still had shot mentality. That never left me

How to Build a Hiring Process Based On Skill, Not Pedigree

"Welcome everyone to another episode of. It visionaries today. We have the founder and ceo of hacker rank the wreck. Roberson car the vet. Welcome to the show. Thank you for having me all right. Let's dive into what is hack heck is ing product that followed developers to showcase their skills and get jobs based on skills so it's great product developers. That's what we do. So hacker rank described it a little bit more. So if i'm a developer and i want to showcase my ability to program full stack front end back end. It doesn't matter. Whatever it is my specialty is. How does hacker ring helped me showcase my skill. Sure let's you know maybe hiring process of their do personas involved. One incident for the company cited the other one is a candidate but the developer side difficulty in what he has to happen before. Was you look at candidates z. Me and then go ahead and say okay. This person's the school gpa. Invent by used that as way adopting of us are you said as a pretty signal. The interview process the way hang works. Is we build a product that as a company you could go ahead and create your own customized challenges whether that is the front daniel stank a devops and developers one apply to your organization instead of going ahead and applauding the resume in the typical resume. Steam gain salgado's janitors and if they were pretty well then they can continue with the process the also build a bunch of products getting the enemy processes while To make the whole hiring process based on skills over pedigree all right. This is amazing. So if i'm let's say doing a cloud migration. And i need to convert web application my current on prem application so that their cloud native and i have a problem. I put it up on hacker ring. That's what i want to hire in someone. I don't know where they. I don't know who they are but people can just volunteer to solve these problems to demonstrate their ability and skill to do the job. I need the accurate. Yeah it's may partially academic you could think about it in two ways. One is in our set of applicants to your company's today yup and you could create the challenge in uses a way to understand their skills ended on a probably a set of candidates the rest of the world who are do not know about good company. And thanks who. You can advertise on Unity to say they. I'm from the stuff. Anita hire a cycle ability to go ahead and do it. Any developers ignore handbook of childhood. Solvent is more like a social some trying to imagine it on. Unfortunately i haven't used hacker. And i thought you know we could definitely diving because i think it's fascinating platform and product in. I think the better you describe it. The more our audience you know we have cio cto. Listen to this podcast. I mean i'd love to let them visualize what this experience looks like. Is it like a social network where there's users or applicants that are constantly like. Let's say browsing and checking things out and they see we see challenge posted and then try to solve them is it is it like that. Yes i think. I'll just maybe zooming i'll give you an overview of the city of the strategy or the product Sweet so our strategy communist developer life cycle management which is essentially like the name suggests that building products that span across the life cycle journey of a developer. We think about it. In phases that is a pre higher face that is either hiding face in the post fire face so the higher fees as ivana you could come onto our site and prepare for jobs so we have free challenges that that are boasted We have one of the largest about communities he stood about a million ascom every quarter of the golden prepare for jobs and hone their skills. Get better do it. Such a freedom a per community. Think about that way. So that's the first place the hiding phases. When i was talking about this as a company you could use our product to create customized challenges. You understand the skills of applicants are applying to your job. You can also posted on our community dimension do you attract developers n were linked tools. That can spanking log your interview process. Well what happens after that. You wanna to internal candidate in a bad programming. A white gold in a session on lines of world starting about jewels on that statute of set of products during the hiding things an host higher which is like once. He joined the organization. You know we want to have you with Understand what skills they have right now. What on waking Upskill myself and also the other side of the equation from a company so you can get a better understanding of Once said do. I haven't done early Gas in how do i still. The workforce are augmented. the hiding.

"I do agree that it's weird to stick. Why think I don't think it's weird. It's weird. It seems Super Weird to me. I feel it's pretty common like I don't know we have to spank in cotton. Oh, the cotton balls the balls is like different I don't Yummy. That's a little weird. Sadistic I don't know if I. Agree that it's Sadistic Abyan certain from certain people sadistic I feel like. This spanking should only be done by loving parents though it says, which for people who are anti banking is like a contradiction but I understand what they're saying it shouldn't be rainfall they're just saying it should be like. It should be calm and thought out and like okay. If you do that, you're punishment is this and then you carry through third I guess I tend to think of these things like. Almost strategically like first of all. I don't. It's hard to know. How I feel like it would work for us because I don't think Elliott has ever. been. At a place where nothing else works. So they're not even saying by the way I'm one hundred percent not considering it at all. Like I'm saying like if something else. Other thing. You don't use it during temper Tantrum. Main things you don't you away. From I wouldn't you would say like, let's say your kids playing outside and they won't come in. They won't mind you. They won't listen to you then you would say if you. Mommy need to come in right now. If you don't come in when mommy caused, you're going to get a punishment and your punishment is going to be. As. Soon, as you walk in the door, you're going to get your punishment like that I. Okay. I. What I don't like about that kind of spanking, which is very different than like what they're talking about is much different than having a paddle or something like that are daddy's belt yet. But I still think I don't like it because. You want to teach your kids not to. Think of violence as a solution to a problem, and you're sort of teaching them the opposite when you are spanking them.

"Have to go. Nuts on the Chris I feel like. I feel like the day after Halloween is when the Christmas decorations start, we might have to get a little nuts I was thinking about listening to Christmas music today. Instead I listened to the soundtrack for the revival of hair. Broadway but I was this close to Christmas music. It's just finally gotten cold ish in southern California and it is so nice to the sun I say fuck you. Coming back the sun. is going to get warm. I don't know I. told it to fuck off. Let's see how how long it stays away. Hope they give a lot of sway with the sun though given, but you do any universe. The, I don't have any sway with the universe into what I said. I said, the Universe is eager to spite me. The universe doesn't. Prefer. ME. Challenging its. Authority. Authority. Obey. The universe. Cut Disturbing. I. Didn't tell you last night because I didn't WanNa turn it into a whole thing we talked about I was just processing it. On my own. Okay. So I was communicating with a listener, a wonderful listener who I who I really like. And we were talking about like child rearing and stuff, and she was telling me some child rearing book she likes and the first one was like I forget what it's called but it's by Janet Lansbury who are Mommy and me group had recommended and she has a podcast everyone loves her and the second one is like another one that I've heard of and then another one and then she's like an also mom's on call. You might not like that one though because it has spanking in it and I know you're anti spanking. And I was like. Again, I don't. I am anti spanking, but it made me wonder is she pro spanking but I didn't I didn't ask her. But I was like, what is this book that is recommending spanking and it suddenly became like a scary movie that I don't WanNa see but I like want to look it up and look at pdf I became upset look. My brain has spongy areas, spongy obsessive area. So I became like obsessed with this book trying to like read reviews, events stuff, and then finally I ended up just like I'm just GonNa go nuts until I read it and I and I bought it on kindle. and. Here's the thing like there's actually some like pretty common sense decent. Good Advice. It's there's three in the series. This one's for toddlers. There is some pretty good advice one like a little thing is like don't put okay at the end because to us. Yeah. It's like don't with toddlers. Fewer questions around the the non optional things. So like bed-time time getting in the car eating bath time, it's not really up to them like plenty of questions around like playtime and non-essential stuff. Are you getting tired of listening to me? 'cause you look bored and tired? Well, I mean I know but I feel like we already knew that. Okay. So anyway them when it comes to spanking, let's address. Yes. We just did. He did use that word. Let's address the elephant in the room spanking for generations and generations were like. SPANKING, and now all of a sudden we're not allowed to do it..

"Is like such smart the way like community outreach propaganda. Smart because like Eliot you know was like so excited they they delivered the candy a couple days ago and then. Either later that same day or the next days when this. Cop. Came by the same same day. Okay. He came by and then the next day. Elliott wanted to call the police. Because he wanted more candy. I'm like Oh man look at that I. No. So here's the thing though we put it in the window and like I don't know. Thirty five minutes later, the candy was at our door. I don't understand I. Will I've never seen a COP ON OUR STREET No no the and they actually in their post about it. On next door they actually say like do not call us to tell us that we put it in. You put it in the window just tag us like I don't know where which was taking. So I figured they're not going to see it. So we're probably GONNA head it wasn't this guy. He didn't. He's like, Oh, they giving you the stuff Yeh I'm like, Oh yeah, they came by this morning and he's like, Oh, well here and he gave me coupons for free slurpee. And you've already sworn off the Burbank seven eleven because they wouldn't let you put coffee in your big. Gulp. Anyway. So. No what I was GONNA say is. I. FIGURED WE'RE PROBABLY GONNA have to buy the candy and just. You know put it pretend that. Not. Going to see it I don't know how to communicate with them. But somehow. They saw it within. Its. Really Never. Ever, seen him either anyway though here's the thing I want to get to. I remember when I worked at Time Out New York I approached an intern to see if she wanted to write something for my section and I really was like. Are you interested in writing this? She could've said, yes, it truly I was not ordering her to write. It was giving because this is what you would do with interns would give them opportunities to get bylines. Just checking on her workload, you have time to write this and she's A. No only if you want. Okay. And I was like, oh No matter what I like you don't have to look no. Okay. Okay I'll. Get. As A. Shake off my skin my you know the authority because she was acting she's afraid of you. She was afraid of me and felt like she couldn't answer normally and was just telling me what she thought she was supposed to say which is and it was and I was thinking that. Anyone who has authority like bosses must get that all the time. Teachers probably get that with some kids and cops. Like they must they must be weird for them to never be able to have maybe they get off on it but it never have a normal conversation as a doubt there were. Here as evidenced by the fact.

Standing up also you know. Sort of traditional way the males in my family. and. I did not hear. Oh and I saw was. Staring down, in, this little. His little hand and arm reaching through between my legs like he's GonNa touch the stream. You didn't know. It was I was. Scared. The crap. Scared the hell out of me I'm not used to seeing a baby's hand. Yeah luckily you know he didn't get far enough to. He's awful. Cute these days. That's the story. I was gonNA tell it on the moth podcast, but it's really good. I'll tell it here. I'm distracted because I looked down at my notes. And I wrote Owen reaching through leg. And then I wrote. Cup. Door. And I have no idea what that means. Pub Door I feel like that, my yeah. Was the COP coming toward door a cop. That's no. Yes. I want to talk about that moment that happened because so. A COP. Came knocking at a door to inquire about something. That involved are the people who lived here before we bought the house but. After he left I felt so nervous like we can say what it was right? The potential fraud central, fry our address, and they're just trying to locate the person make. Yeah. But. When he I was like. Have I potentially been involved in fraud and I don't remember. It's so weird I know any sort of like. I'm cutting sort of like when I go through security at the airport I'm always relieved when I make it through and it's like, but I know that I'm not bringing anything that I'm not GonNa say see officer I get nervous and I think of like what am I okay. What can I be doing or have I done with you know I mean it's it's one of those things that I think about and go like if I'm this nervous imagine if I was a person of color. Well. That's like that's what I was thinking is that that's real privilege. That the COP came to our door, we opened it up. Without without really really being afraid and it all went fine I wasn't really scared. because. I know I haven't done anything but you know you can't help but think like Gee. Is there something? Is there some code that we have a? Nervous IT'S A. Like when a teacher Poets Funny Burbank, PD has this thing on Halloween where if you print out a pumpkin and then color and put it in your window They will deliver like little bag of candy and. "If that is that is. that. So fucking weird. I, know so. My didn't allow for that to be because obviously, that's what it sounds like. But I'm like, no, there's no way it's. Like a like A. Cutesy word that the family is. Is What I assumed but then Sarah Colona has been on the show show tweeted whatever you do don't. Google and that's what came up and I was like Oh, of course, I just assumed anyway, go back to your prediction place. Jesus Can I just say something Oh for God's sake I kind of wanted to mock the Hologram thing. But then I thought more about it and I thought you know. If I. If I were grieving are missing someone I would probably. It's kind of wishful. I'll probably liked that gift even though it's very easy to say negative things about it and it's kind of weird anyway. Okay. Go ahead. Yeah I mean I can see how it'd be comforting. The only thing that I think is distasteful putting words in his mouth. Hussy he far. Or a WHO knows maybe he did say that but the part where he's like. Just anything kind genius. Like I'm very happy that this and I'm very happy that me probably would think that but you know. Yeah, it just feels distasteful anyway. So my if I were. If I had to put money down I would say. Biden. Looks like he's going to win on on Tuesday night. But it's I don't fuck. No like. I I guess I have a feeling that we're actually GonNa know on Tuesday night maybe because there's so much so many people are so convinced not GonNa know on Tuesday night it just feels like that's the way it would go. and. That'll be the surprise like Biden ends up winning a few states that. You. Know they didn't expect it when it's kind of just over And that that a lot of this worry will be for nothing so. I. Guess Optimistic. But my optimism makes me scared and not makes me pessimistic. You know what I'm optimistic about. I'm GonNa tell you, and then we have to talk about a funny thing that happened with our kids. I'm optimistic about how much everyone's GonNa love simply earth is an essential oil recipe box. "Then they're going to question why we decided he wanted before, but that's how they were doing. Anyway. That's beside the point this is breaking my birth. I know it's confusing the whole thing was very logical, but that's not even the point. So whatever. What I was GonNa say is they were meeting in the Florida. A state legislature I forget who it is that appoints delegates or points selectors because you know when you vote, you're voting for state electors and then the electors go to d. c. and cast the vote. So the electors can change the park I vote you vote for them in good faith that they'll keep your vote but. Let's say you're a Democrat and you have have a Republican run state legislature like Pennsylvania and bring Pennsylvania because they're actually the Republican Party is talking about doing this which is. The let's say the state goes for Biden and That that doesn't mean that the state legislature has to pick Biden voters they can play. You Electric Sorry, they can pick trump. Right now, the governor of pets. Electors now the now well, but they could say, well, it wasn't legitimate. They could say we're we don't agree that that's a legitimate vote. So we're going with what we're saying is the real will of the on what grounds what they say we don't agree with it like. There was voter fraud whatever they say like, yeah, there's. A bunch of ballots that were dumped in who? Think. But if cast enough doubt, it gives them cover. They could A. Appoint. Trump election I think the governor could appoint Biden electors but I, think the tiebreaker goes to the legislature or something like that. Anyway. They were doing that in Florida in two thousands even if even if the Supreme Court hadn't stepped in and Gore, had one Florida they were planning a another way of taking the election, which was two point faithless factors. Let me ask the question a different way, and then we're gonNA move on to something more saying this is what gives beings folks let me give you a new question. You Ready. Years. Okay are we doing voices? Are. Just. Your question on a scale of zero or one to ten. Ten being optimistic zero being too pessimistic. Where do you put yourself right now because that's what I was I realized I phrase my question wrong. Before I wasn't trying to many numbers I know I wasn't I know you you didn't have any fingers I wasn't trying to say, do you think going GonNa win? I was trying to say like how good are you feeling about things because I good about you know what I'll let me just answer for myself. It's my show you deserve to hear what I think. I am feeling more optimistic than pessimistic but I think that's because pessimistic is too uncomfortable like I just don't even like I'd figure we'll just cross that bridge when we get to it in a few days..

"If trump all of a sudden is like, no, we have to count absentee absentee ballots that he right now as saying, he doesn't want to be counted if all of a sudden he's like wait we have to count those. Yummy I'm not sure what their strategy would be. Biden is looking like he's clearly GonNa win I feel like If it's I think they're. I think their strategy is to cast doubt on the swing states regardless. And then hope that it can. Be Challenged in court for a repeat of two thousand where. To remind anybody or tell anyone who wasn't alive at the time they basically this predates. ME, on that night And then like an hour later, fuck. Said Okay you know set a deadline and said, they have to count all the ballots by the state and they were on track to do that. But. operatives Republican operatives coordinated by Roger Stone, and by the way like. Brett Cavanaugh was one of them Gore sick I think. John Sorry. John. Roberts. What part of this thing called the Brooks brothers riot, and they cut a storm these facilities where they're counting ballots in created a whole thing to delay the, they're still going to finish the count on time and then. The Supreme Court the United States stepped in, stop the account and said. It would if. Under the reasoning that if they were to finish the cow, this is crazy. If they were to finish the COUN- out, it would cast it would make bushes win illegitimate legitimate to too many people that was the reasoning which is crazy. If Gore were the one that was gonNA win. Like, it's insane logic. Am I following this car? I'm sorry I must interrupt brooks brothers riot because of what they were wearing. It was just a bunch of Lake Republican lawyers you know. That's just what they call it. So Am I following this? Correctly they said. You have to stop this because it might turn out the Gore's the one he won, and we want Bush. No no we have to stop this recount because if Bush wins, it'll cast doubt on his election, which is insane because if they did the recount anyone in that, wouldn't that it was it was that's super. "The spanks. That's what you're talking about in terms of the health readings. You mentioned some of Casey's predictions about the future. I cannot speak. To the one about the segregation, I don't recall that I would not be surprised like I said, there are so many readings and no one has ever put all of it summarized. All of it, you can access it all, and online and computer, if you're a member, but I don't think anybody's ever summarized everything what people do is what we do. It's like I took all of his readings involved mounds and wrote a book about it. We took one involving South American. We wrote a book about that lots of people who've written books about his spiritual stuff and his health stuff, but his health readings. Yes. Those are considered exceedingly accurate, how he did that is beyond me. I have actually seen people try to do this and been around some. And I've never seen anybody do it to the to the, the same way that Casey did with the same degree of accuracy. But there's just some astonishing stories about the health ratings and things that went on with it is it possible, Greg. That's all he Hawass one. He was in thority has already been into the hall of records, they did it quietly one night. I don't think he did you know, Zahi Hawass is directly connected to the Casey organization. You'll see things written in books about that. Zahi has been at the Virginia Beach, Casey organization many, many times it was the head of the Casey organization whose last name was Casey who got Zahi Hawass into the university of Pennsylvania's PHD program and archaeology and the air e- actually was going to pay for his tuition there. The government apparently this, this is what I've heard. I don't know if this part is true, but they were embarrassed by that and decided to foot, the Bill for his tuition, but Zahi has real connections to the area but he has stopped a lot of that research over there. And of course, he's not in power now, but they're not interested Egyptians are now not interested in doing anything like this. They are mainly interested in Islam history. Not prehistory before Mohammed, for example, they're looking at mainly as Lama history. So there's not a lot being done in Egypt right now. All right.
