"And the gray plans gaming project doesn't excellent job with bringing people to their developer really focused on these people who had games in all stages of their development. And giving them a little bit more of an audience a space to play a space to get new play testers and new eyes on their things. So, you know, just like reaching out to people and just like everyone you meet just to sell them to tell them what you're doing. You know, you can take or leave whatever advice they give you. But most everyone's gonna have at least something to say. And usually benefits you. Yeah, they're always have connections out there. Yes. To quote spaceballs, my brother's cousin, sisters, former roommates. So you never know how the connections are getting. Exactly. The advent of some of this new technology know a 3D printing and printing being so available you can print out those test pieces and get the tactile feel of. And I know that's more towards the end of the development, but still getting again, seeing how the card layout is on the card or the icons too big. Are they too small? And things like that are key when you get a little bit later in the development absolutely. There's nothing like a tactile game too. I mean, you know, tabletop simulators all well and good. But it's never the same thing as actually having that stuff with you. And actually being able to see it, it's exciting to have like you know, the first the first piece of merchandise we got with our with our logo on it and we're like, that's us, you know? Like, that's the real thing that we have now. And it's really exciting and we would love to be able to use our platform as we expand to be a resource as well. I'm a big fan of using the resources that are out there to help you achieve your goals..

"Gruesome, but I just think Tatum. So Tatum is, you know, rose, Rose McGowan. Right. So she was the best friend. She was trying to escape. She did not. So she's trying to escape from the killer in the house and she goes with the doggy door and then the killer thought, how does he smash her head? Yeah, well, the doggy door he lifts it slowly. Do you remember this? You don't remember? I don't remember, but we have to spend it as a people who haven't seen it. I've only seen screen wants. I know you're a scream official. You have to see it 8 more times at least. He slaps the doggy door on her head. So she's crawling out the doggy door and you think she's almost there and almost out. But he pushes the door and it opens. So she's like fighting and trying to get out as the doors rising rising rising. And then it doesn't stop and it just like as if they're taking the garage door up. Like in her head. I remember that. The doggy door in the garage door. Yeah, it comes up, yes, I remember that. It's so like can you see her face go and then smash? And it's just heartbreaking to watch. Yeah, I was thinking she was just drawing all the kitchen door or something. You're right, it's the garage door. That was a great death for sure. Cool. Well, I will join in. All right. I am going to go with the very first alien. And it's the very first ever chest bursting scene. And of course, this is when they're in the nostromo and we've seen the facehugger on I think it was John Hurt space. And then suddenly the face circuit comes off and he's feeling good until it all sit down to dinner where then he starts to kind of burping and feeling strange. Then he falls on the floor screaming in pain as the alien proceeds to burst through his chest, which is the first one of those ever in alien, I think. And back like in 1978, nobody had ever seen that before. So that's what I love about somebody's movies from the 70s and 60s even. These deaths, like you mentioned are the most memorable and there's still haven't been beat to this day. The reason that one to me is included is because although it's an amazing scene and so classic, I saw the spaceballs parody of it first. Where they come out and are seeing hello my baby. Hello, my darling. And so it kind of takes the alien one to do that too. So it makes it a little less scary, but I can see it. If you haven't seen that first, it's probably really terrifying. I love the fact that you saw the spaceballs version first. Which is so good if you haven't seen it go watch it. Did you see the space? Did you see spaceballs before you started returning the Jedi? I did. It sounds baseball before I saw a lot of that. And then I had to go back and be like, oh, that's what they're talking about. Probably killed some of the horror and evilness of Jabba the hutt as well when you saw pizza. Oh, for sure. Oh my God, yes, exactly. All the piece of that was a little scary himself. It was really crazy. Yeah. Yes, it's so gross. All right, what's your next one? Okay, so this one is like a combo of two because I can't decide which one's better. In terrify, which I know you love a lot too. They have an amazing scene where they saw the shit 'cause she's upside down. They saw her in half like completely graphically. She's naked. It's amazing. But there's also a really similar scene in bone tomahawk, which might be a little more glory actually because they like scalp him, feed his skeleton and then rip them apart and so they're both great ripping apart scenes. So I'm going to make that a joint. Number 9 or whatever we're doing. They feed his scalp to him. How gnarly is that? And to make it fit in completely oh my gosh. I had heard that there was a similar scene in bone tomahawk to terrify, but it did not realize that they actually fed him his own scalp. That is totally disgusting. Right. So terrify is great, but that's great. So let's just put them together and say, yay. Riffing in half is always good. And I have the terrify Jeff on her name was Catherine Parker and is the actress really cool very pretty actress. And as she's upside down, it's really disturbing because she's like you say completely naked and she told me when she was filming that they had to only film that in like one or two minute increments because obviously the blood rushes down to your head and can really affect you for real in real life. So there had to be very careful with filming that scene because physical damage you could do to her. I didn't even think about that. That's crazy. She said it was really cold as well, so. Yes. So another one for me that's in that area is hostile, the original hostel, where the one cat, I don't even know his name. He was in dumb and dumber. And he this is where the whole movie changes. It's all kind of a teenage sex comedy up until that point. And then he passes out when the chicks, you know, drug his drink, and he wakes up, chained to a chair. And I think the dentist is the guy's just drilling holes into him. Yeah. And then says he can leave just to get up and walk. Oh, yes. Yes. Guy doesn't know is that both of his Achilles tendons. I don't even think about it. So when he starts to get up, you just see this. Oh, it's so gross. It's so gross. So gross. Hey, Darcy, hey, Chris, it's Alex Vincent, Andy Barkley from the Chucky films. I've been asked by Darcy what my favorite kill in horror films is, well, I'm gonna have to stay true to my own franchise here because I have to say child's play to Chucky, hiding in the closet, plunging into the.

"Boy, This is great. And then you think you know what's crazy is that for being 96 minutes? It's too long. It's probably a little too long. So I suppose, is great. But maybe, like Star Western, I say, I don't know especially looking at like how good family guy was at wrapping up a Star Wars movie in 22 minutes. Those are really good spoofs. Spaceballs doesn't hold up very well. I think the hold up very well. The first like 20 minutes of Spaceballs is awesome. Yes, yes, But then you just keep going. Heart falls apart real bad. I don't like you guys is people. Good morning, Vietnam. Robin Williams showing off those acting bones, huh? I wish I liked this movie more. I like it, but I don't love it. Forest Whitaker. I feel like Robin Williams makes me wanna love movies. But I don't love this one. It's got here you like I really wanna love Patch Adams, but Chatters, man. You stop right there. Don't you say a bad word about you like patch Adams? I was just saying it's a joke. All right? Yeah. Yeah, It's okay. It's fine. No, it's fine. I really wanted to like Jack. Jack is so good. It's fine. Stop it with the Robin Williams ate his man. He's already dead here. Here's a hot take for you killing him. Nicolas Cage carrot signed facing over. Robin Williams. Wow. There you go. Right. God look at Jack. Alone. That's that's a good 0.0. No, he left well, just doing west. Hey, West. What I'm talking about Robocop Love that movie. It's one of my all time favorites would be in my top four. What makes it super special is not only is it like a crazy ass ov I almost stopped altogether. I'm gonna tell you right now. It was very close when I said Keenan Thompson is a top five sketch comedy actor of all time. I knew as soon as I said it, I was wrong when I know I'm wrong. No, I'm wrong. They could appreciate that. Yeah. Robocop now. Yeah. So not only awesome SciFi amazing all around movie as you would think of Inaction SciFi movie, But the whole thing is actually a parody of like eighties consumerism, which is like when you've When you see it from another level this the Dutch guy who was the guy can't even pronounce his name that directed. It is just like it's genius level stuff, and I don't mean that's dirty dancing. One second, the wrong one. All of them. Moving as heavy is Robocop starts and really is the whole movie. I think they do a really good job, robot or human or ghost in the shell idea that, like, try and get rid of the human being. It's still in there and, Yeah, exactly. It's down his murderers and Your move, creep and all close and they needed a boy, which is so inappropriate because it was the most violent. They made him a toy and a Saturday morning cartoon. The toys were just cool looking. He drove a guy into a vat of acid. And then the guy walked around like melty and got run over by a car and exploded over like that, like Mondays. Am I right? Yeah. Just horrible. By the way. Peter Weller was a great Batman and dark Knight returns the animated one. So keep that in mind. Full metal jacket. She's so live. Peter Weller. Yeah. Awesome. Deep, deep voice real good. Full metal jacket. I think that this is a very good movie that I probably haven't seen enough times. I should probably watched a couple more times. Charlie Army is outstanding in this great first half. It falls apart once they get the Vietnam Yeah, that's true. Vietnam was to feel like it's one of those movies that people like. Your immediate take away If you look up 87 you like God's full metal jacket. Easy, But when do you think it's like 10th of those be cycled back to Vietnam? Where in World War one Right now It's real hot, but I think it's kind of fizzling already. So all those guys that wanted to make Vietnam movies have made them so I wonder if it's gonna be like the grandkids of the Vietnam guys. They're gonna start making those movies again. That's actually good question cause they do go in cycles like that. But it's also the war we lost. Well, what we didn't win win win win that war and so like And they think it's like you're supposed to go down as a tie like this in the system, and in the eighties, it was a lot of like, like, Hey, we won because we sent Delta Force back and Rambo and like, Don't worry about that Lost. You guys heard Bruce Springsteen. Guys. We want it right. Right. So I don't know. I don't know if there's any like great unknown stories that we haven't tapped on the people. You guys have any more honorables. That's it for me. That's it. I got a bunch secret of my success less than zero stakeout Hamburger Hill with somehow stars. Don Sheetal. I think stakeout and hamburger Hill of both restaurants, right? I said. I saw a hamburger hill on the list and immediately made me hungry. I said, I'd like to know what the Sandburg ales all about Broadcast news, which is pretty good. You would like that one. Do Why is that Mac? Well, I just would know that you would like that one right now in her space, which is about a guy you get shrunk down, and then he goes inside Really good ride at Universal seven Ant man movie. Yes, actually. Well, technically, it was a man before was that man? Well, then there was a big thing about if he if he grew, he explode the guy he makes the guy dead on and and the guy that he's in. Is that comedy guy, The man that he is inside. Yeah, the man that he's inside the bias. You okay? Right. And yeah, And, uh, one of my one of my all time favorite comedy movies that I think does not get any love at all. And really, if you're a fan of comedy, you should watch this movie is throw Mama from the train. I think it's phenomenal Billy Crystal when he was actually funny, Danny DeVito like absolute height of his powers. There's just like there's just some scenes in the movie that are like drop dead. Just it's unbelievable. All right. We just went through our good movies. And now it's time for us to nominate for movies, and we'll put this poll on Twitter for you guys to vote on to get into the Mac and goofy vault and west since you're our guest. You can go first. Yeah, well, let Wes book and this will be the sandwich to West. His movies here. So West lead us off. All right For me. I'm going to start with a genre defining the movie That doesn't exist anymore. Basically because you can you just use your cell phone and order either Just get a new number and your problems to solve But before all the great technology that we have, you know, this was really the first like Buddy travel. You know, opposite movies, Planes, trains and automobiles. Yeah, Stupid Super. But PlayStation automobiles. Just unbelievable. Thanksgiving movie Best Thanksgiving movie of all time. Yeah. Directed by John Hughes. Written by John Hughes. Uh, John Hughes directed, you know, Uncle Buck First Bills Day off Weird science Breakfast club 16 Candles are these all underground movies? I've never heard of any of these yahoos. You imagine just having that many hits I developed within like 10 years, too. It was like Your stars Steve Martin and John Candy. They're people that.

And thankfully I have my producer Matt West, who clearly is way more about the sports movies that is for space movies. And I am I like to sports movies more than he does, But space one. What were the ones that you suggested Matt? Well, I I was saying he could either go, You know, like full hero Try to be you know Jim Kirk, right? But then I was thinking he could actually go the other route and become Lone star from Spaceballs. Would that be a regression? Well, actually, I place Lone Star a little bit above Jim Kirk, but but it might take some flak for that. No, I'm saying Darth Vader. So you see, here's the problem. Is if you compare yourself to Darth Vader like that's it like that's the ultimate Right? I mean, the emperor. I guess the emperor you would Say. Are you big Star Wars guy? A little bit? Yeah. "Pushed around today in New York City? There was Rick Moranis are you talking about? He got literally was walking his dog. According to Fox News it like 7 45 in the morning near Central Park, and a dude just came up and just sucker punched him. Really? And he took himself to the hospital and he's doing okay. "Then what they did is they looked really interesting is they went back through historical measurements, and they said, you know, people have been taking pictures the night sky for decades and decades. And not all of his digital and not all of it is as good as recent data. But we have pictures of lots of the night sky going back like a century. What they did is they went back and looked for pictures of this star over the last 100 years. And what they found. Is that or the last 100 years, this star has been gradually fading like getting less bright. Yeah, right, like it's 20% less bright than it was 100 years ago, but it's deadly. Yeah, well, we don't have really constant data over the last 100 years, Right? We have like a snapshot, then a snapshot in the snapshot in snapshot recently because we've noticed the stars. Weird. People have been watching the star a lot more, so they've been seeing a lot more of these dips and trying to understand them. But the dips could be very dramatic, and they're not regular. And it's kind of hard to explain. All right. So you're thinking it could be aliens. It could be how alien what would be aliens be doing? Likes flipping the switch on enough kind of like my kids do no time. So there would be building a Dyson sphere, right? Maybe, But why would it go on enough? Maybe they're partially. Maybe they're part way done with constructing their Dyson sphere, right? And what we're saying is this isn't like orbiting the sun and blocking it right. It's irregular over the last 100 years, they've been building it up. And now you're saying it might be operational and it's rotating and that causes thes dips. Yeah, exactly. And when the Dyson sphere is between us, and their star is when this is when the when the light from that sun gets dimmer It's hard to. It's hard to come up with other explanations for irregular dips in the light. And so let's go through them because it's in the end. People think is probably not aliens, which is you know the story of every scientific discovery ever but does not really one convincing explanation. OK, So what? What are the positive possibilities here? Leading possibilities are that it's like a lot of dust like a huge cloud of dust. And but it's not. Regulars don't like our asteroid bills were like the asteroid just sprinkled all the way around the sun. It's some like asymmetrical cloud of dust. I mean, like Apache Apache Clumpy. Yeah, it's like, spread out what you need in that case, then you need a Dyson vacuum cleaner here. Somebody clean up the problem. It's a mess. Got the best section maybe 99. Oh, Dyson died calm size ¥10 Jorge Exactly. It's like mega made from Spaceballs. Somebody's cleaning up that system. Yes, I would like maybe, like a huge patch of dust and what they did if they look at the light from the star, and they noticed That the light from the star is not dimmed equally across all wavelengths. Right. Remember, life is different wavelengths from the reddish to the bluish and there's invisible wavelengths as well. Doesn't dip the same in all frequencies of light. Yeah, And you know, one of the basic idea that Dyson had was. Let's look for light. Let's look for stars that basically on ly emitting in the infrared, because that's what a huge mega structure would admit. With the direction of the spectrum, which light is absorbed in which lies coming out suggests that it's dust. It looks like the kind of thing you would get. If there was a big dust cloud would maybe like pockets where the sun shines through. Yeah, exactly. And that's what the dips are. So maybe what we're seeing is basically the profile this dust cloud. But that's not really a satisfying explanation. Because like Where is this dust cloud come from? You know, most stars don't have death clouds around them for several reasons, like especially old stars like young stars whose like just informed That is being formed inside a huge cloud of gas and dust. And, Yeah, you expect a lot of gas and dust. So looks stellar nursery. Wait, Let me guess. Let me guess. Daniel, do you think it could be aliens Only. Isn't there a random guest? What Physicist might think it is? Aliens? Will you both right and wrong, like one possibility is that the point is, you don't get dust around old stars, usually Right, because that dust gathers together, informs planets or even just get blown away by the solar radiation. Right? Like Cilla radiation pushes dust out of these systems, so maybe a planet blew up right. Maybe it's aliens and they had a huge war and one of them blew up the other one's planet. And what we're looking at is like planetary debris or something. What? That would be super awesome. Right from this fully operational battle station. You seen the remnants of the death star? Yeah, but But before people get too excited about that one that one doesn't really hold together because in that case, you would see it would be like warm right because, like Planet blows up big blobs of glowing matter. Andi would glow in the infrared, but we don't see that. So it's consistent with cold dust. Um, which is kind of hard to explain. Like we don't understand how you could get this reared a regular blob of coal dust around star when it was a planet destroyed by like a cold freeze, Ray No aliens. What is that superhero that that shoots freeze Rays. Yeah. Ice man. The ice man. Yeah, Exactly. Ice man came and froze their planet. It shattered into a bunch of fruit might as well offer that as an explanation. I see. So you're scoffing of my flesh of aliens. And but instead as a more likely explanation, you're suggesting the Iceman superhero later. That's what I always go to first hero. Let's do I guess the cartoonists would go to superheroes first is an explanation. I'm just saying, I think I think I should get a physics degree. You know, I have a still upon you from Daniel Jorge University on honorary Ph. D in superhero. Oh, man. I should be a great product for.

The facts matter, Wisconsin attorney General a Democrat said tonight which was last night about 7 P.m. about a woman called 911 to report that Jacob Blake Was violating a protective order by being around her. Has to in uniformed police officers arrived, Blake said He had a knife in his car. He resisted arrest, fought with the police officers. A cz. You know, on the ground, he was tased without effect. I continue my tweet. Blake, then walk towards the car, ignoring orders to stop As he arrived at the car Blake reached in Police then discharged seven rounds and the Blakes back. Police found the knife. On the driver's side floor that officer Chesky Commit a crime unquote. And when you think about what's happened The facts are still being developed there always premature issued judgments instinctively, a large chunk of the American people want to believe the cop is a murderer. Irrespective of what happened, and a large chunk of the American people want to support the police officer until other information is given. I'm in the latter category. Not the first I instinctively want to say I want to know I support the police and let's see what happens every now and then. On the millions of contacts every day. There's going to be individual police officers who screw up commit crime. That is absolutely true. I do not believe That there is systemic racism in big city police departments controlled by Democrats for the past 50 to 100 years. In almost every circumstance, whoever it might be. Can you give me a circumstance? Where Ah, the so called criminal. Completely complied with the police. It was nonetheless shot. Completely complied. I did everything they said to do. And nonetheless they were killed. There may be an argument about Briana Taylor, but she was in bed asleep with her boyfriend. A knock on the door. The police say in Louisville that they said Wait. We have a warrant. Police police. I don't know if around a Taylor and her boyfriend heard it. I don't know what they heard. The boyfriend said. I didn't hear that and I have no reason to dispute that. But at some point the first shot that was fired in Louisville was from the boyfriend who shot a police officer and the police thought it was some sort of drug den. And so they responded, unfortunately, sadly killing Brown and Taylor. But can you think of a case? Certainly not George void. Certainly not Jacob Blake, in which the future person to be shot or killed. Completely complied with the police and was killed. Nonetheless, almost 99% of these cases involve circumstances where the police are telling. The person to comply to do something. Stop what you're doing. Don't reach for the knife. Don't reach for the gun. And there were and they were killed because of a lack of quick judgment or because the place they're told to do that. And Jacob Lakes case. He had a worn out for his arrest for the sexual assault of a 16 year old who was the daughter of the woman who dialed 911 to say he's here? There's a protective order and two cops show up with Jacob Blake. And I don't know the facts about who did they run his record? Did they know who they were dealing with? But they had reason to believe that Jacob Blake had a temporary protective order. That had been filed against him from the woman, the mother of the 16 year old that allegedly Jacob Blake and sexually assaulted before July 6th of this year and there was an active felony a worn out for Jacob Blake. And so then the wrestling begins on the grass. He was tased. He told the police. He had a weapon had a knife that was in the car, and he's walking toward the car. Opens the door and reaches in and is then shot. Hey, give me a circumstance where The future. Deceived in the person that was shot completely complied with the police, and the place was shot him anyway. 513749 7000 coming up next to Steven Cortez from the Trump campaign about tonight's activities on news radio. 700 WLW Cincinnati This is the final night of the Republican National Convention. "So And so I flipped it on before I left the house to come over to the station today to do the show, and she rambles on for about three minutes talking about it. Now, this was a different time. And at one point they they wanted. Ah, look, it was so it was so worthless. I can't remember. Here's the problem for any of you who are not James. And have seen blazing saddles because that's what humans do. You would know that the racist people are the ones that they're making fun of in the movie. They're the bad guys, and it is no, it's not unclear. You know it right from the start. And and there's because there's a duality of it. I can't believe I have to wax poetic as far as blazing saddles goes, considering what it is. Right. This it's it's It's a comedic effort. To to Ah, to parody to spoof westerns. Which is what Mel Brooks did. In a number, he spoofed. He spooked, of course, was Spaceballs. Right? That was the Star Trek. Have you seen Spaceballs? James? Never heard of it. I've never watched Star Trek either. Star Wars. I have semen at the 1st 1 Okay? All right. So anyway, so, yeah. "Well, listen, if a pilot informs his passengers and crew that is about to be a crash. And if you were people die in that crash, and the pilot thought it might have been a complete catastrophe. And half of the passengers walk away without a scratch on the other half, Don't Pilot hailed as the hero. Now found these predictions were more severe. Then the actual results. Oh, he's getting Blaine. He's done on both sides. Don't forget. He's also the same guy said it was no big deal probably won't even get here. Go to the Super Bowl and have a nice time President repeated that and now the president never took over it serious. Not not fault. She never took it serious. The other thing is that the pilot may have believed it was going to crash. But I got news for you. Dr. Fauci is not a blank pilot in a specific circumstance. In situation, he has a track record of leadership and involvements in conflicts of interest number one. And number two. He knew darn well that with without the data in the model assumptions were in the model, and he knew about those assumptions and those assumptions spit in the face of self governance and common sense and basic hygiene, and it spit in the face of really realistic reality. So I have a hard time either. You don't have it both ways. He was an incompetent pilot to begin with. Or he was so tainted Toby played or to play this game and be played that I think he would become incompetent that point if he didn't know how flawed those models work. If he doesn't he should be gone today. Michael. Listen, Fales. He has been in Washington as long as Joe Biden has Lousiest 36 President A lot of people point that out to you found credibility, but I'm saying that he has business interests. He's not just a vaccine researcher in the vaccine business. Nobody's talking about that right now. We have we have on this show, but, yeah, No, I agree with you. Yeah. No, that's why I'm saying he's a tainted player, too. Yeah, when they develop a vaccine. About. You will probably get a return on investment because he's in the business. Now. He's not just a scientist anymore. He's also an entrepreneur, and that's not really being looked at very closely. Hi, by the way, Thanks for the call Russell and I hope your team finds the name. "I've got one that it seems you don't really like. I I borderline love, dirty dancing. I do when I said this earlier, Patrick Swayze. He almost lost his leg for that movie. Is that why you like it held in their sacrifice? Yeah, it helps. I think it's an incredibly dumb concept for a movie because you forget how dumb the concept is not done. You go by and you go to the Catskills and you'll want to do some dirty dancing. I mean, there's been a lot of movies now. You might You guys might disagree with that fact. But I won't hold back that there's been a lot of movies. I would say a lot of it is. You know what? I've been waiting for someone to take this stance like an argue that's the line in the sand. I'm gonna draw them lovely, like 25,001 of the most iconic song to movie things There is Oh, Tom of my love, O Tio. Another fun fact from that stupid 80 show, you know. Hey, we made a movie. They said that they had no more money for any more music. So they found that song have been. I think it would be a hard pressed to name like three or four other better jobs of associating a song with a movie. Oh, I mean, that's Yeah, That's because that song has never been anywhere else. Besides that and advertise dirty dancing Jennifer Gray, one of the binary moving on overboard aboard I think you know, through the lens of today's society can't really talk about it. And then they remade it with Anna Faris and that other fella and it's not good, but in this one, that guy gets amnesia. So it's okay. The running man love it. Of the all time horrible action films. Just one liners to shoot them out. Just great stuff. The book is better. The book the way Boxers comment of the Pod Pirate is under. Yeah, but Stephen King Stephen King wrote it, But, yeah, I highly recommend it. But yeah, that movie so great. Yes. How about the lost boys? Of course. We just lost Joel Schumacher. This is one of his better movies. This movie, I think is like, um, I don't. It's reminds me of the Goonies. Maybe that's why I like it. But this is sort of like the nostalgia of the eighties nostalgia that garbage pail. Kids were sort of going for the quintessential 80 stuff, and it didn't do it all The lost boys, I think captures that that's about Yeah, I don't My brains. Your General Schumacher was like, I hope we can do like what garbage pail what they tried to. So what? I was you, but I'm open but I'm hoping is that those two movies came out in the same week. And Siskel and Ebert were sitting there. They're like we have two movies that look like they were trying to do the same thing when we get the cover, trying just trying to do and lost boys did. Where is the garbage pail? Okay, maybe I was open my house on Michael Scott, where I started a sentence. I didn't know where it was going, and that's where it ended up. A great movie is the untouchables and also quite a cast. What a cast. Ah, yeah, I would agree. I have no other thoughts on the untouchable One of the greatest lines of movies. History brought a knife to a gunfight. Unbelievable. Evil dead. Two people dead, too. I think a lot of people would have and there has to be in the top four. Yeah. Yeah, We're sort of getting to this category here. Well, I think there's like eight or nine movies. They're all pretty similar. And that speaks to how deep 1987 is Even That, too, is some of A lot of people's favorite movie of all time, regardless of genre. What's so great about it is it's literally they gave him money to remake evil Dead one and just said, Hey, make it look better. Yeah, they said, Sam. We like that movie so much. Just redo that and it's great. It's amazing. It's unbelievable. Raising Arizona. One of my favorite movies about Nicolas Cage, Holly Hunter Big Year for Mikage. Hysterical, heartfelt Coen brothers. You know just what happened in a cage. I get good actor he bought not know He's good and he's He's a good actor. He's a great actor. You see, Mandy He's not a great actor. He's a great actor. First office now has an Academy Award. Also Academy Award. I bet that if you did his filmography and did the percentage of good movies, verse, bad movies, did you not hear what I just said? I was a great actor. What happened to him? He's still great. He's done that movies in the last five years. He has it made hey, has not made. I'm sorry. Did you not like she's acted well in 25 didn't like kick ass. He was great is the 15th best part of kick ass? He's the second best part of Kickass is unbelievable when he's screaming and on fire. There's like 35 unbelievable things in that movie. He's like 15th Now you mentioned some heartfelt stuff West. How about Spaceballs? So this again if I was making a personal top for this would have been in it. This would not have balls to me is like what Goos movie nomination this I've seen Spaceballs. Probably 125 years. What we all know about Mac. He loves spoof movies. He can't stop talking like to spoof movies. Not enough parenting. He loves meet the Spartans very moving disaster. Just going to say if you don't let's meet the Spartans something mad. Spaceballs is good. Spaceballs causes great. So then you know what's crazy is that for being 96 minutes it's too long, a little too long, So baseball is great, but I actually like Star Wars, too. Must say, I don't know especially looking at like how good family guy was at wrapping up a Star Wars movie in 22 minutes. Those are really good spoofs. Spaceballs doesn't hold up very well. I think the hold up very well. The first like 20 minutes of Spaceballs is awesome. Yes, Yes, but then it just falls apart. Yeah, it falls apart real bad. I don't like you guys. People. Good morning, Vietnam. Robin Williams showing off those acting bones, huh? I wish I liked this movie more. I like it, but I don't love it. I don't want the forest Whitaker eye feel like Robin Williams makes me want to love movies. But I don't love this one..

"Bottom or sixteen percent right Spaceballs twenty one percent uncle Buck thirty two percent planes trains and automobiles thirty two percent so I put my thumb on the scale try to log was winning before you and I it's about another John Hughes movie by the way how did John Hughes movies was John candy and I gotta tell you man lanes trains and automobiles is just one of the funniest against Swedish movies right down to the center it just hits you it hits me in the gut every time I see it it's been a while since I've seen a great flick eight four four two oh four Richard number to dial we've got a mom from bleacher report because he had an incredible piece about the human element and fall out of the Astros cheating scandals the author of ambush by the Astros which you can read on bleacherreport dot com right now Scott Miller how are you Scott good how are you I'm doing fine well I guess what gave me the idea to start going to people whose whose careers were altered by this what we threw that well yeah I mean obviously the big Norma's story over the over the winter over the last couple months of baseball as Bennis astro scandal and you know people can't seem to get enough of it but you know we talk so much about like what they did and and you know the World Series in twenty seventeen and you Darvish was a tipping his pitches all know now maybe the Astros knew was coming and Darvish and Kershaw but you know beyond that you're talking talking was double my editors at what your part you know we're kind of almost brainstorming different yeah well there's a lot more to this than just that and yeah I was a woman is just you know that human caused in a third round there were a number of yeah I used trying to cling to their careers because I I think in professional sports in general but in baseball rich tweet that's the one thing the biggest thing I think the fans out the the average fan doesn't realize that all these guys are major leaguers they haven't made one thing I think that people don't understand is the rampant in security and the game from all at all levels you know even the superstars young there there there you know there's a very secure because they have to stay playing at that same level what do you call the way down to the French guys people trying to take their jobs and then you know maybe you guys you know they they they have a tenuous hold on their spots anyway and then you get those tears like the Astros and twenty seventeen where you know they knew what was calming which pitchers were gonna be thrown and you know the the French guys so many of them yeah after that god base the Astros and in get dispatched to the minor leagues later that night or the next day and you know what you want to what what was that like especially now when these guys are still some of our out of the game or some are clinging to their careers and now that they know that what they didn't know then L. what's their reaction that all in you know there's just a human because I know we get wrapped up in numbers so much in sports in general right what it out via human cost is always interesting to me sold for those who have not had the benefit of reading your piece will get give it give everyone an example of a story of somebody who got lit up and then lost their job another feeling about it today Scott we are well there are just a the the guy lied with Anthony bass big day here out Texas Rangers twenty seventeen and he's he's in the minor league season triple a for the Texas Rangers and he's trying to get back to the majors he had been twenty thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen he had started in the majors and and that ever finished a full season but he had pitched a fair amount of soul then twenty seventeen he's in the minors for Texas still trying to get back to the promised land so he was with a triple a team outside Houston Round Rock and he gets a call in may early may and he gets he's pitched in a game that never trouble again that night he's back to his hotel back to his apartment where his pregnant wife is any arrives late after the game eleven thirty or whatever at night and he gets a call from the Rangers Hey we're in Houston and we're calling you up we need you at tomorrow's game we need you to drive there is like maybe a three three and a half hour drive and J. so he's like okay so you gotta be there time for tomorrow C. drive through the night gets there to Houston and just called on the pitch that day couple innings gets hit pretty hard you know courting to the website that keeps track of all the trash can banks it was minimal that day but there are some bangs when he pitched so right after the game it's called in the Jeff banister's office then the manager of the Rangers and he says I'm sorry do this to you but you know we're gonna send you back to triple A. so he drives the three hours back meanwhile when he got called up you know it's eleven thirty now he's leaving to in a hurry for Houston his wife says I thought was very poignant says okay I'll I'll see when I see a and in that sentence it took me encapsulates the the pride in your spouse the whole for you good things to happen I'll see when I see a yes you know you might might be might have been the major she might not seem for a month for you know till the next time they visited one night later calls or Hey I'm on my way back all money and he tells me she at the time he said yeah I get it we understand you're called out for one game then sent back it happens sometimes so he said actually she was more upset than I was in the moment she was like she's basically like they're abusing you you know they make it drive three hours for one game and make you send it back and little did they know at the time it was the Astros that we're doing that be using it's amazing Scott I mean it's just it's just remarkable and but one of the stories that you told or had told to you involving Alex Cobb the the fact that he was told after game by one of the Astros that he was tipping his pitches and instead there were twenty banks in the crash trash can when Cobb was on the mound and he's put it all together thinking that not only was he cheated against but he was having the tracks covered by a player she's coming across as being altruistic to help them out what in the world is the psychology behind all that Scott yeah I mean it it turned out the interesting thing that happened to him and Chris archer who at the time were in the same rotation in Tampa Bay and it was in the same server is July thirty first August second of two of twenty seventeen and you know you can you can only conclude as Alex Cobb did that basically you know something comes up and says Hey and with a man your stuff was really good but you were tipping your pitches I just want to tell you while there are the only conclusion is basically the the Astros were trying to throw pitchers in other clubs off the scent while all of what they were doing by say Hey you know your stuff good hang in there you were just open your pictures in your house jobs he was a free agent that winter he was about going into his free agent year he was having a terrific season and that one outing in Houston was by far his worst outing in twenty seventeen and so he said looking back he felt like his pictures were pretty good but it was just getting clobbered and then and now knowing that what he knows now looking back yeah he's like clearly they were trying to throw me off the scent and the problem aside from the face value part of that he said the psychology of a pitcher man when you get hit you know he said I'd met at work like drama queens and when we get hit hard it feels sometimes like you're never going to have another good outing and he said they told me they wouldn't the guy wouldn't tell me what I was tipping but it was something with my glove he said so right after that as you would imagine Cobb is pitching coach in other members of the raised went to the computer and they're watching over and over looking for one of my do what's he doing with his glove what's the tipping and as gossip and now he looks back it was all just a bunch of wasted time and you know they planned it the the fall out of it was the next several outings he was paranoid about what he was throwing and and making sure he wasn't tipping when it turned out it probably never was in the first place the last one for your Scott is have we determined ordering when you're talking to these players the extent of post season use of this are we ever going to find out what actually happened the commissioner has said that based on their evidence this scheme was used in the two thousand seventeen postseason and we still don't know which round it was in you know unless it's on this website that you mention your piece called sign stealing scandal which is a game by game break down yeah that an Astros fans put together do we know have you gleaned any information on that front is exactly what was used in the postseason by the Astros it's it's still murky are rich I think it's pretty clear based on what the commissioner said what the investigation revealed and anecdotal results I think it's pretty clear they were doing this all the way through the World Series I mean if you know every round of the policies I mean the one I mean Clayton Kershaw through fifty one in game five of the World Series in in Houston and that was a game he he got lit up pretty good yes timer did she reported each of fifty one breaking balls and he got zero swings and misses I mean that is just almost impossible to do especially for a pitcher of Kershaw's caliber to throw that many breaking balls and you get zero swings and misses so is Margie it's pretty much basically commissioner's report that they were it was going on throughout the whole season it's probably also worth mentioning that it's believed other clubs were doing it to just not maybe to the extent of the Astros maybe they're not wired as well as they did but yeah that's the other thing here too I think the Astros are getting all the heat and you know.

when I really do like the nightly for right now yes she doesn't age either that when they do this they like to get sleeping bags and go the same way this burning man they like this sort of thing it's a community like they know each other they can't wait to see each other to get again question what are these people support themselves in the real world where you could take off ten days to watch a movie is this what these are vacation time I guess possibly or some of them are the I work from home kind of people you can just bring a laptop and do whatever your job working on the sidewalk well actually a lot of the some people that are really into it that's their job they write for movie websites or stuff like that so they're actually blogging and and blogging from line that's they're making money off easily I actually could do that your final for the hell but I can do that from where ever I mean sometimes I have to go to press conference also go grab a sleeping bag I can tell you where they are the thousand years no shot is there is is there a franchise that you would does not Star Wars is their franchise that you would a franchise that I would sleep out and see the movie no no no no there is not one with for me what's that song song song franchise is my favorite franchise in the world that can make enough of them the people get killed in that just yes this permanently yes I love it there it's it's so brilliant so well done it so clever and because it's so weird and clever doesn't feel real it's not one of those murdered things you're like oh my god it's going to happen to me like this that'll never happen a million years is not possible yeah it's almost like fantasy marker okay yeah that's a good one and final destination I would sleep out for those the worst was that bad and the final fantasy series favorite I fear that one college now that's so you can't escape death no matter what you do you know one way I yeah so like you like if you were supposed to die in a car crash but somehow you didn't yeah death is always coming for you no matter what now so now you're gonna die ten times worse you're on the right yeah consul you're on the run from death right is anybody survive this moving no nobody trusts the forget point of saying this for you know everybody's going to go it's the same movie over and over and over again around hot day of horror films how do you enjoy something like that do you have nightmares and the start of your locked in a room with her and she's watching all these murders right Stuf all right each with someone survive in that movie by the thirteenth yeah Freddy the murderer yeah J. survive that well it's been said many times many ways we'll be back with more of W.
