"Two people are dead, one injured. After a tow truck driver, rear ended a car with three people inside. That happened early this morning on southbound route three, near westbound route 32 as you were approaching game rolls off of I 97. And around the county police had a freight line of tow truck overrode the 2010 Honda sedan causing both vehicles to run off the road and hit some trees. The driver of the Honda and a rear seat passenger were killed, they're both from Glendale, Maryland, and the front seat passenger with serious injuries. The tow truck driver had just minor injuries. So we're going to keep an eye on that for now. Should be extra careful, headed that way. The future express lanes to crash was pushed there, all travel lanes are open, so no real delays continue with the accident at the beltway out of travel lanes. 95 if we continue in Virginia still doing okay Fredericksburg to three 95 through the 14th street bridge, no major issues, checking all of your Potomac river crossings doing well toward the district. There's nothing currently on the freeway, tunnels across the mall, all of your crossings at the anacostia and two 95, all checking in, okay? And in southeast Pennsylvania avenue branch avenue, the earlier fire department activity has cleared. In Maryland's same interstate travel light, the big story, the Chesapeake Bay, bridge run. It is happening right now, eastbound span remains closed runners all the way across the bridge span from the western shore to the eastern shore, so that causes a little bit of a slowdown on the westbound span where they're carrying all the travel. They take a look at it's quite sightsee. On the westbound span of the bay bridge, we've got a single lane each way, middle lane closed as the buffer, minimal delay from the time you're traveling west band, especially from about stevensville route 8 to go across the bay. And again, most of it is a spectacle delay by the time you reach the western shore, you are back to speed. The eastbound span closed until 2 p.m.. So delays could build, we're keeping an eye on it. While we're in Maryland, we will continue 50th bay bridge the runners are now almost mid span, but it's a long trail of runners going across the eastbound span of the bay bridge for the annual bridge bay bridge run. This means that there are two there is two way travel on the westbound band. There are only one lane getting by in each direction center closed as a buffer. So one lane going across the bay bridge that will be the configuration until 2 p.m., be sure to plan ahead for your travels to or from the eastern shore, currently no big delays from Queenstown to the beltway and back. If we continue in Maryland, taking 50 inside of the beltway all rolling well, and even into northeast Washington, there are no other incidents reported. It had been reported along the right side. It remains heavy up toward Braddock road in two 36, then again, passing the toll road, keeping an eye out if we've got work, up near Georgetown pike. It's setting up on the outer loop of the belly, and that's along the left side of the roadway. That will cause the delay that leaves Maryland as it does as you approach river road across the bridge. Now you will find two 34, dumfries road south, near Exeter drive. Last heard the crash had a left lane getting by. Late delays, going into the district off both D.C. two 95 south and I two 95 going north, the wreck on the inbound 11th street bridge near M street, just be careful to report it in the center of the roadway. First, the federal magistrate judge will hear arguments for and against making public the affidavit supporting the search of his Mar-a-Lago home. Also, Alan weisselberg, the Trump organization's chief financial officer, is expected to plead guilty today to tax violations that plea deal would also require him to testify about alleged illicit business practices at the former president's company. Traffic fatalities began climbing two years ago as pandemic restrictions lifted, and that deadly trend is continuing this year as well. Roadway deaths increased by 7% during the first three months of this year, the highest first quarter numbers and decades across the region, there are projections of double digit increases in traffic deaths. Kelly's federal trial in Chicago begins today, the woman allegedly seen a multiple videos from the late 1990s having sex with Kelly is expected to testify that she was 14 at the time. Those tapes showing the alleged encounters were a part of a state trial in 2008, in which Kelly was acquitted after that woman decided not to testify. She's almost 40 now. Kelly faces charges, he sexually abused 5 miners in the late 1990s and created multiple explicit videos with four of them in September, Kelly was convicted of federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. We had some slowing leaving Virginia, headed off the 14th and case bridge onto the eastbound freeway. You're heavy as you head over toward the third street tunnel. All right, our issue in Gaithersburg is on three 70 westbound near two 70. You're going to find yourself under police direction right side of the roadway tied up. Branch avenue, northbound before Moore's road, an earlier crash there had been taken away the right lane. Beltway slowdowns, topside outer loop from 95 to Georgia avenue, then into the big curve inner loop south of town now slows after saint Barnabas road, headed down toward the Woodrow Wilson bridge. Our activity in Virginia remains it's on 95 headed in the southbound direction as you try to roll into dumfries. Unfortunately, the wreck before two 34 still blocks the far left lane. It seems like everybody's up on tow trucks, so this should be in the wrap up stages. Our issue on the beltway is going to be on the outer loop, trying to get to the service roadway for Arlington boulevard. You can get in it, but you'll have to go west because the traffic on westbound 50 the ramp to the outer loop of the beltway at the bottom of that ramp that brings you into the service roadway, that's where we had an overturned vehicle V dot still busy and that ramp still closed. So watch, again, traffic on the outer loop and that service roadway has to go west on 50. One 23 and mcclain headed northbound as you approach the George Washington Parkway, got word of a new crash. That's where the sinkhole opened up a week or ten days ago. Be just right around the muddy branch road overpass, two right lanes blocked, three to the left will get you by. I think traffic's moving again on one 75 west, out near one O 8. That was an earlier vehicle fire. You will find we're good to go between the beltways, 95 and the BW Parkway, no real delay now interlude prince George's county all the way from college park down toward the Wilson bridge should find your travel lanes open.
