"I'm sure diggs-brown is going to bring up for us at seven. Oh five when we talked to him this morning. The taliban are liars. They do not tell the truth in their particular belief system. It is not a sin to lie to an infidel. Think about that. You and i even ryan in there are infidels got it. It's not a sin to light us so these are highly religious people who believe in Islam but they don't believe it's a problem to lie. Well it brings us back to one of the things that i really think is so important in keeping peace in this world in. It's called peace through strength. This is something that came out strong in the ronald reagan days. Peace through strength. all right. that's what it's all about. He knew that he knew that well and he made america strong. I think president trump in many ways made america strong. Although that we don't give me wrong. I'm a republican. i i have been. I think i was born that way. that's my. That's my reason I'm not a trump fan. I if he's the nominee of the party i'll vote for him again but he's kinda messed up in a lot of ways but on the other hand trump did a lot of good things really really good things. His policy stuff was pretty solid. He believed in peace through strength and he would have gotten his. I believe out of afghanistan. Over a period of time maintaining the safety of americans and afghans both during that withdraw unlike this unbelievable courage in mess that we have going on now created by president biden. It i i. There's got to be something wrong with that man to make these kinds of decisions. It just doesn't it still is not working. Don't have to tell you that. Well anyway..

"Hundred thousand well-trained well-equipped best troops in the world. That we've been yeah right day folded like a house of cards. When the taliban started to take things over he was dead. Wrong and the best. He can stay now as well. It win a little faster than we thought it would. Yeah right it did. The taliban has gone faster than anybody had. Maybe expected but there were people who knew that it was going to happen at some speed. They were gonna take over so anyway. Here's the point. I'm trying to make president. Trump had actually made a decision to get out but not the way biden. Did it as a matter of fact. I know for absolute truth that there are units of the us military. That were that. Were still going to be going to afghanistan as late as november or december of this year. Why because we had to provide a protection to those people i mentioned before our own people working there in our embassy to start with but other people who were there on all kinds of contracts thousands upon thousands of american citizens spread out through the whole country of afghanistan had to be protected if we were gonna pull out in so this pullout needed to be done in a very organized way so if president trump was was going to pull out he also knew that had to go in with some more units to kind of be things up to get out safely not only for us but for these afghans who had been friendly helpful in very important to us and if the taliban was going to take over just as happened over. The last few weeks be literally slaughtered by the taliban in afghanistan because of president. Biden's totally wrong decision as to how to pull out it was. It was an impulsive thing. That just made no sense in to blame it on. Trump is totally wrong because he was still going to keep.

"John clark by the way you probably said that doesn't sound at all like mornings with get in. It's not it's me anyway. Gail taken one of those well-deserved days off. And i'm just thrilled to be able to be here and spend some time. O of we got a show for you today. Let me tell you there is a lot going on well. One of the first things we're going to talk about is Some of the things that have kind of kind of saved up here. Probably probably the most important thing. I wanna talk about right now. Did you know that there's a chance there costs benita could open up again. Yes there is definitely an opportunity. You probably heard the guys from south park now. They just signed some. I don't know. I'm milly hundreds of millions of dollars contract. I don't know if i'm wrong on this. This sounds like a lot of money. Nine hundred million. that's correct. Yeah thank you ryan When i read it. I thought who. What could you possibly due to get nine hundred million dollars. That opportunity does not present itself in my chosen vocation of professional photography or my avocation of radio. No we thought. But they're on tv right everywhere everywhere so so anyway. Here's the point. These guys have evidently entered to injured into. I should say on agreement by casa bonita. Now i the owners said not not for sale enough as any went through bankruptcy court that that'll do wonders for your financial outlook on. Thanks all right and after that now he suddenly talking like. Yeah they the south park guys even say we have a contract that as soon as this whole thing and bankruptcy which takes a little while to kind of work through it I guess. I've never done it but i but i understand it takes time in once. That's over. They've got a contract now. They want to buy it for good reason. It's a cool place. Anybody ever been to.

"Actually so South Park and the Arts, especially around the 2015 election, that really killed it for me. It was. Yeah, I mean I can, I can go with that. I, I did watch. I tend to dive into the older Seasons again. Oh, for sure. Yeah, well it seems like the right. I'm sorry. Yeah, that's my next one's. The reason season was like the city part Town one. You know, where the Whole Foods open up and it was all that type of thing like that she's my liked But I don't know which number it was, but I think that long of the more Arcane thing is help them plan out a little more, not decrease, some of the stress involved which good, right? Like if we end up getting more south as a result of that, I'm good with that. But I'm with you, I there were some golden episodes from back in the day and some of the I will say now some of the stuff off, we're like from seasons one through, probably eight, maybe maybe somewhere in there like if it released now. It would not be okay with some people but the nearest South Park. It's yeah. But I'm excited to see new game and I'm excited to see them at least six more seasons and 14 movies. So it's I've just been a fan of the series for a long time. So I always say like obviously Stick of Truth is like that fantasy off. Like Lord of the Rings, a strike obviously took that the the show and obviously, for example, homeless, that's super hero stuff, which again was ripped. Right? From the show, em what the theme will be in the next game? That's a good question cuz I called I called I can't either unless you sent me from a legacies. And like, obviously I haven't seen, I'll have to go through and watch it and try and brainstorm what it could be or maybe I just brains. I just watch all twenty-three for whatever seasons and like that's what I watch every single episode. Almost wonder if it'll, I bet you need anything. It'll be around like 10:30 farms in some way. Yeah, I I assume the same because that reflect the the things going to really Central Park, their story lately. So not just last season either, right? But the one before it. So, I would imagine that's going to be a big part of it, and it gives you another area in the game to, to play, right? So, which is Thursday, but I I'm with you, like, I love the Simplicity of the South Park, Stick of Truth. And I just love being able to go around the town of South Park and and feel like I am in an episode. Yeah, that was yep. Park. So I would imagine this game has absolutely no window Hook released yet. I would think we're probably what? Five years I thought would you say yeah I'd say four or five probably yeah yeah yeah. Four or five maybe 20-25 maybe. Yeah I almost feel like it's something if they're planning on season 32 be the final season of the show. It's almost launched the game really close to alongside that Vegeta me all planning to be the end of the show cuz I mean maybe but I just don't see a lot more like not as things. Got another nine hundred million dollars. I'm probably not. So I mean it's like The Simpsons people, I think people stop talking about like, when will The Simpsons end because it's just never going to never going to win. So, and there's argument that maybe it shouldn't like big deal, if you don't like it, don't watch it, right? And if enough people say, I don't like it. I'm not going to watch it anymore. Don't want right back. But so far that hasn't happened on the movies front. Like, yeah, I don't think there's any timeframe there..

"And so, I'm excited to see another game coming. Fourteen, new movies and for Paramount Plaza play. I don't know why I'm assuming by move. They're thinking more towards the like like the pandemic specials. Yeah. Then like the actual South Park movie from ninety-nine or whatever. So I'm fine with that though. I think you know if you can extend out and tell a story over the course of what would be like three episodes. Cool. I'm good with that. Yeah, I just read. I'm used to those longer episodes being like topical, you know? I mean they they are or they happened because there's like a an event happening in real life. You know. I mean it's something's going on and they want to address it and they address it in a room full episode. Like I, I wasn't even alive when they did the movie. Yeah. I was, I was, you know, have you seen it though? I don't think I have usually used to watch it when I hear for see movies. I had a great probably going to be like, just like long episodes and but it does. I wonder how the guys do it. If they got 14 movies, like prepped in their minds, you know, I mean, if they like gone to the writers room and phone number, Miss or is it just not when we when something happens in the world? We're gonna make a long full episode. Yeah, we're going to make the movie. I think it's more that and if you've there's a documentary out there that's called like 6 days to something, it's about how they make episodes of that show. And basically they no idea like going into the day after an episode premieres and they going to start the next pack idea, what it's going to be about. For the most part. Yeah, I'm in another hearing that. Yeah, yeah, I think now they planned out a little more cuz of the seasons are little shorter. Their ten episodes of seven and they have gone away from this. Now he's they have story lines like across the seas. And yes, it's all pretty proud of some of the artists have been very good though and some have not..

"I was moving at the time from Once they to another and it was a thing where I had kind of a bit of a highest level slash layover for a few days and I just sat there in a hotel and played, you know, the the fractured but whole and it was great. I never finished the price of oil. I remember starting it and playing it for a bit, but I I remember that are full of, this isn't fixtures. It's just not as good in any way. Like I just I could even the things that stick of truth is worse. I was better in my mind like wage. Not be charged because just as a package, its shortcomings made it. I don't know. It was in just felt. Yeah, yeah, I don't it just it took me back and the fractured but whole and change certain things and then it also just have this like modern Sleek feel. It was kind of like a good point. Right? But also like I kind of like six feet on a little bit shoddy or I suppose a little bit like old-school like you know like sticks together. Yeah friendship behold. He had like I'd say he's in the weirdest criticism ever had too much production value. Yeah. No I think that's a fair point. I still think it's worth finishing. I think it's just fine and I think the game is fine unless you're comparing it to Signature, but it's hard not to do. I think, I jumped into when I think I played stick of truth cuz you know free because off Or differentiable whole I'm just hurting of troops are good and I was like, I really want to jump in. So I think I bought Frank gibeau and I got sick of 243 played that and then tried vegetable him was like this is not a good memory. Yeah, yeah. It's like I said, when you're, when you're comparing it to signature, that's not as good. But like on its own. It's fine. It's if it was the only self-parking that was out there in the last generation. I would say it's a decent effort, right? Yeah, excuse me, it's played when I was younger. So I say discovering save a fourteen-year-old, it's really more like ten. I was probably around 10 when I was, like, great again in South Park cuz I remember it was like, towards a year. Five, six of primary school and there was a tower defense game on the 360. Yep. I like everything about it, I remember playing it for hours, like I must have laid out for a year plus with one of my best friends at a time and I can remember specific level by you but member pick comes. I think in you have to like, you know, like defend and make sure you didn't get through like the map. Such a brutal game. I not all in the spirit of Stick of Truth or write your boor hole. Like, like I say, it depends in D but it's yeah. All right, so good. Did you play that game? I have played it. I don't remember much about it, cuz I ain't played a ton, but I did play it and, you know, I know there's there there were. I knew people that really liked them, but like, our defense needs at least at that time. Not my, not my jam, but it was, I'll give anything with supper go home. I just love the shows, like over-the-top nature. They like, they'll dress, like, I don't know. Serious topics, I guess, for lack of a better term but they'll do it is not your like over-the-top way. It lowers everybody's defenses, and I think that's a valuable thing, right?.

"This here because it's including the game. Did you play Stick of Truth or fractured but whole affect you. Oh yeah, great great video game. Yes, I played. Stick of Truth is one of the most fun games I've played in the last High School seniors. Yeah, it's so good. Yeah, I agree. One of my favorite games, like pong combat was better in fractured, but whole, but the thing where he was so good, the character, like, it's a stick of truth. So, like, like, Old like original side, you know, just it was because it was yeah it just captured everything that was ever shown respectable how I think kind of Tainted more towards similar system that I didn't enjoy it. Yeah, they did though. They they basically said with fractured but whole they took everything from Stick of Truth on the show up to release of fractured. That was the content of the game. Yeah. And there there was even like cuz I know there were multiple delays with the game with both games to the point where in the first, the first game they may get a three-part black Friday's Trilogy of of episodes about it. Then ended up with the game them saying it's finally company, we promised wage but it also rent it also like rolled in the console Wars and all that stuff. Like where ya where they really find out where in Red Robin, right? Yeah, yep. My favorite because it also rolled in, it also rolled in Game of Thrones. Yes. Yes. Yes. So, all of that was going on at the same time, it was great. It was a Grade Three partner. And then the second game, there were rumors that and that never, like, you know, confirmed or anything, but rumors that one of the delays was caused by the results of the 2016 presidential election here in the US. Which made them kind of go. We do well that reached a sort out quite yeah. So The first game I thought was classic South Park, I think it was I forget it's best not that the show has gotten bad, it's just I don't know. It's it's less like that. Pure innocent fun, you know and it's more topical. Now it's much more interesting like you end up going up mr. Slaves off the bad. You know, I guess? Yeah. So let me rephrase less like politically driven. Yes, yeah we'll go that route. I guess that's what I mean by that more slowly because I'm craving to have things that are maybe politically check it out once in a while. So but that was but like that level that you just referred like I spent the entire time playing it just laughing. Yeah. Like three acting as well. Not just like huh. Yeah. I'll just like a no snow. It was I was like some of the moments in that game. Yeah, maybe maybe feel like a fourteen-year-old, kid. Discovering South Park, right? And the the level, where you go into Canada and everything, turns into a fantastic. It's great. I think everything about it is so loud on, so I'm hoping that the new South Park game will be much more like the first one with maybe the combat of the second Egg and I, you know, the sighting game, by the way. Not bad. It's not bad game. It's fun, and it's fun. It's just, I play a pretty quick. Actually, I played over a course of a couple of days off. I was actually moving. Excuse me..

It's still four hundred fifty million dollars and that's just it's crazy to me. That's a crazy amount of content to commit to the like rpm still like clamoring for south park at this point. I mean south park still has very loyal fans. It's you know there's a reason it's been around for this long. It's a staple of comedy central. It's the recent specials that they've done the vaccination special they did You know a previous special. They had as well. I think it was the holiday special. And so they've proven to be very popular still and it's just to show that stuck around for so long and people continue to watch it so it's you know it's one of those things where it's just a staple now of television essentially and it's gonna keep going as long as you know Viacom keeps ordering new seasons of

"The with kevin mason late. I was watching an old south park episode. Hadn't seen it a few years but it kind of made me chuckle. Been kind of made me think it was the episode where cowan his family moved to san francisco because his dad starts getting smug because he's driving a hybrid vehicle and of course everybody gets upset because he so smug because people hate others. Who were smug people hate. When other show excessive pride for no reason other than the fact that they feel superior which got me thinking about social media which got me to thinking about our political situation now and it's all about feeling important it's all about feeling superior and that's where smugness kinda comes in. I think social media is harmed. That i didn't see it coming and i'm the first to admit i was wrong. I only saw the upside to social media. When i started getting really involved in it in two thousand and five thousand and sixty thousand seven. I didn't realize what would become but this is all about. People feeling superior feeling special feeling better about themselves. Smuggled is not a good look feeling superior. That's part of the problems lie. Think about that for a moment.

Walmart becomes largest U.S. vaccine provider to join push for digital vaccination credentials

"Talking about this article from the new york times with the headline of walmart becomes largest. Us vaccine provider to join push for digital vaccination credentials vaccine at walmart. That's ghetto where else you gonna get. Walgreens i mean walking's just a little step up i don't know if you guys have seen it but it. They did a great job of the most recent south park episode. The vaccination special. I i have seen it i. Perhaps i wasn't in the. How do i say this. The correct state of mind to watch the episode. But i thought it was one of the least funny south park episodes. I've seen it. I don't know. I started cracking up right away. Everyone's trying to get in the walgreens because it's like a nightclub but the only people allowed in the old people only got the the old people get okay. That was funny. Yeah again perhaps. I was just not in the right state of mind if you are picking up on land. I liked the face diaper special. I don't know what they called that but that was pretty funny. The pandemic special. Yeah i i didn't understand what the pandemic special was. Until i watched the episode and then i was like oh the pandemic specialities so frayed. They were going to be like are no telling people like everyone needs to be wearing masks but no so at any rate people who get covid nineteen shots at thousands of walmart. And sam's club stores may soon be able to verify their vaccination status airport schools and other locations using a health passport app on their smartphones.

"All right y'all back on the line. Deion and jimmy. Johnson from no greece are back on the line and of course last time we talked. It was a controversy going on at southpark mall that has been resolved and now they here to kind of tell us. What was the conclusion of that controversy. How ya doing brothers going man. I'm so proud of y'all man. I'm so extremely proud. Man that was a great look for us here in charlotte man to see them do the right thing and they wouldn't to underwrite thing. We wouldn't have stood up for our rights and what was right. God back this up one thousand percent you you started the whole thing man so we appreciate you. People really heard heard our voice. I threw you manso. We appreciate Being j murphy and everything that you you brought to the table for as so thank you so much well. We give all praise the gulf for having the courage to Talk about things like this and you know we doing this for our children. We are doing this like dame dash that we this for the culture. Let's talk about the conclusion note of what happened between you and south park mall. It came to resolve by way of simon property from corporate Getting involved so it wasn't a more management from south park. It was corporate Simon property and actually wanted to see os clue in and they met with me and my brother that friday. And let's be clear it was the people and it was the the media and all of those different outlets that no them charlotte it. Wasn't you know no greece wasn't germane game. You know it was the people and particularly that people are charlotte and so The ceo he flew in. We met them on their friday. They informed us. On some of the you know how was kinda mishandled on You move management side and you know there was a deal being worked That the lower management didn't know corporate was doing with a bigger company which included twenty stores in that store that we were in which included in the math. They knew that the best thing to do was finish out. Lease and then Finish that deal with that company A more broader thing was that they recognize that we had already been five other locations in simon properties. They wanted to help us expand and they're going to give us a permanent lease there in South park so choose to do it. At the end of the lease Actually already offered us two locations already in there. We just haven't made a decision on which one of the locations we would you know Prefer okay and guessing the nutshell gang. Yeah i just want to back up. You know just a little bit. Was that that pressure that the city the people of charlotte put on on simon property in in south park. You know may that resolve happen real real soon. You know in twenty four hours. Basically they had already reversed. You know the whole combination of our lease and so that was already know down at twenty four hour that they was not terminating us and then everything else was about. How do we do better as a corporate entity working with small businesses. How do we do better. So that's how discussion got to wanted to see ios clients charlotte and having that discussion with us so a lot of people when they were looking at this story. You know two black barbers in south park and people were were saying. Hey nah is this. Racism i an are. They doing this deliberately. Because they don't want black people to become successful business entrepreneurs in south southpark mall in and then others would want to come in and say. Hey look we don't need that many black people in the south park ball. That wasn't the case at all. Was it or was that was not issue with south park. Simon property it was not the race the race card but the issue of the community and in particular small businesses and black businesses and particularly. Those issues are the broader issues that they attached with no greece's issue. That's why we want to kind of continue this conversation so that we could deal with some of the broader issues. That's happening not only in charlotte across america was small businesses and specifically. You know when we start talking about small businesses. we're talking about black businesses. Also so. I think that's the that's why we think it's important to continue this conversation. And start to plan strategies and actions moving forward because this really energized the small business community when i saw this happening and everybody put themselves in your place. I know that you want to really be a catalyst for helping. Small businesses thrive and and the begin to be established especially with young people. What do you think is our next step for building. Economic mobility was small businesses. Not a we have. The city's attention. And when i say we i'm tom. The small business community is now. It's time for us to put the pressure you know on our politicians and our leaders here in charlotte and say okay. What are we doing as a small business community. What opportunities really are afforded to us here in charlotte. Let's start holding our leadership accountable. And when i say our politicians talking about our our private equity investors here the banks. Those are the people that we need to start saying. Okay now what are the opportunities here because we have this challenge here with you. Know being data city and meaning no when economic mobility. Here you know. We have a a group of people that fallen last here. I mean if you're born poor in charlotte you remain poor for the rest of your life right and small businesses the big answer to that. We need to create more small businesses so that we could deal with this poverty issue here in charlotte. You know we're talking about you know tax dollars and we're talking about politicians who obviously they get paid by tax dollars. They need to be held accountable. These answer

"I've no issues like that. I just start at the end of the day. it was completely unfunny. And i don't know if that's because i've missed a lot of the mythology but i did not laugh once at this thing. It was a complete toss at for me. The only two things. I wrote down that i found slightly. Humorous was a the rave music emanating from the walgreens thought was a was a funny touch and i thought jesus himself trying to get the vaccination was pretty pretty humorous too but neither were like moments actually made me laugh out loud or anything Yeah i don't know south just like i said maybe there's other episodes that are better. You're saying the other special was better than this. But i don't know. I didn't get any of the mr garrison stuff that was going on. Of course you're not going to get that because you haven't watched the past three or four seasons. Yeah exactly. it felt like those jokes were being written for people that were steeped into the mythology of those characters and that is not me so it felt like it was jokes made for for someone who wasn't me so i didn't think they were bad jokes. I just didn't understand the jokes and it didn't really do much for me. I did not care for this much at all if you're if you're a south park fan. I'm sure you'll probably enjoy this. But you haven't watched south park for six seven years and you decide that this is going to be your way to get back to open the door and get back into it. Th there's gotta be a better way than this greg. I'm exactly the person that takes describing. I still remember in college sitting on my computer and downloading that south park. It was like a pilot for probably like forty minutes to download and watching. I watched i watched that on fucking somebody had copied it on. Vhs over to the house from a comic bookstore like a bootleg vehicle. Yeah watch south park all the time in college. I don't remember the last time. I saw south park. I've got to tell you jake. I laughed my balls off. And i don't know it's like my really weird sense of humor. Every joke about the old people getting vaccinated in just str- just destroying society because they've been vaccinated. I was laughing so hard. There's this one scene where there's like a jeep full of six or seven old people piled in and they pull up to it was either to the reporter to the kids and the old guy goes. I'm going to go to a bar. It get some pussy fucking and our. I laughed throughout. I had belly laughs throughout this thing So much so that. I do want to go back and watch more south park. I'm precisely the person you're describing. But maybe it's because of the time and place that we're in right now. I just thought the timeliness of the humor is good. Yeah if you go back and you watch previous seasons like it is very much tailored for like what we're going through eh each season and you can. Pc principal pc principles the new principal of the school. And then there's a empowered female which is like his girlfriend and then they end up having babies and they're like the pc babies and it is. There's been some great fucking seasons of south park that have come out. I know like. I can't i can't speak i want to say rebecca loves it too. I know rebecca has been watching south park. And i wonder what she thinks about this. If she watched it but man. I loved the last three four seasons of south park. I dropped off. I said i'm done with family. I haven't watched family guy in like four years..

"I get that disney's not gonna show us like it's not going to be like a francis ford. Coppola look into the dark world of wanda v. it's just. I would just love a little more. Not everything is perfect rosy and everybody loving each other when you make these things. I'm sure it's a slog. At sometimes. I want i want them to take time away to talk about like all the people pissing immonen on the project. That'd be fun right. I do agree that it would be interesting to see the cova challenges like why are we hiding. That was a thing. And that's part of the making of two. And i would like to know you know how. That impacted the filming. Yeah i guess. I mean i hate kovic. So it's like yeah. I guess that's interesting. Part of me. Part of me just wants like that for them to gloss over it so i don't have to be reminded that we're going through this right now. That's just me personally. I wanted the. I wanted to see them. Sit down with dick van dyke. That's what i wanted. i want. How amazing that that was my only real gripe with this was like i really wanted to kind like i wanted to be in that room in here like what he had to say and i mean he's such a knowledge when it comes to you know that old the old sitcoms because like that show really you know it kind of set a bar you know that and lucy and the honeymooners those were like those are big shows back then so yeah it'd been great to hear from from dick van dyke south park guys watch the south park vaccine the central south park vaccination special. I watched it on. Hbo the central let. Let's try i know. let's okay we easily jump into politics. But i'm not having it okay. There's a lot of other funny stuff here in this. Don't deal with the with the politics. The central plot involves residents of south park's of south park clamoring the covid nineteen vaccine while conspiracy theorists opposed. Vaccinations subplot main characters. Cartman stan and kyle reevaluate their friendship which has been tested and damaged by the pandemic. I i fucking..

"In a situation ever. That's right because going out to south park even though you have been in premium locations that's like on on a bigger stage in charlotte business and like you said everybody was looking at this and say wow man and brother doing it and then for them to come and just slammed the door like you said on your foot. And that's not have our response to that. I think that's the main thing we talking about an nba. You know. I wanna be able to take as high of a role as possible but you know. I'm not a politician. You know i'm not in that position where you know. I have to be the high position but you know. It's a respectful position that i wanna take. You know what i'm saying. Nothing they may explain it to you. We know we understand the contractual component to it. Just the thing about building relationships and business you know it's it starts with respect and a level of transparency right and that's what we didn't get the -ception yeah what's right is right and i think that's the principle that we stand in on it and i know you brother's don't do business like that. You wouldn't do anybody like that. No no no. I mean if i've got somebody. And if i got somebody in their paying bills on time you know i'm like considered like you know. Let me leave school to the today. Lease yeah you know i. I think i've been a landlord. So i i know that they if they're not destroy my property adding value if they're know good services and they they are actually giving a whole different of bring a whole different diverse experience. You gotta consider those things in that value breath so that they relationship with nobody. Don't wanna be greek days ago and that brings us to the other part we were talking about me and dame's talking about. It's been time. And you brothers have been at the forefront of trying to get black business owners together to unite and form a where we can buy up property owner control where we live and we need to build our own part. Yeah absolutely man and you know. I don't even take a lot man right. They don't take a lot and then we could start. You know you got your entrepreneurs and then you've got your corporate right And here's the thing bj. I talked on this before man. These five important lanes right. Let people gotta decide where they go and get in right. So we got. We got corporate. We got entrepreneurs. We got our Religion that's a lane so that's number three number four is Education is education. Okay we got the academia lane and then the last minute the urbanites so the people in the city that the people that you know ground the workers. Yeah i call them the night and he's five lane you can get these five lanes and people to understand and respect each lane what we talk about economically and we could do that thing man man. 'cause you need a off. You will need the money you will need to educate you need the prayers. You're going to need the workers and you're gonna to entrepreneurs to make that thing happened if we can get that thing together man. Britain is put up with all due. Respect you two are the people that i think the brothers and were follow. You know what i'm saying because y'all you proven that you what you doing you know what i'm saying and y'all a good people manso. I just think this is your legacy in. Charlotte is to just like you had humor. Call on that side and the The city fathers who architect and built charlotte. I think you two are the cornerstone of building black charlotte. I'd never say that to you now and say that. I don't know anybody ever said that to you. When i look at all those two brothers right there are the key to building black charlotte wealth and i think god probably drop this situation in your lap to make you see. Say look son. I need you to go this way. I had had to create a circumstance where you ought to see something so you can go this way. 'cause i think i think that's what your legacy is. Well that i you know. That's a lot of confirmation idea. I tell you one thing. We do our part part of the fullest. You know we do know. Factually we can't do it by ourselves. I need everybody to participate in it. We definitely do our part but damon and janina think our mentality has to be. We're building something that we may not see in the future as we get older but the foundation will be bill in the people that know how to build that foundation. That i know of charlotte. And i've been here a long time. And i see you doing that with all these people that have moved to charlotte. They look for yo. You're dropping some heavy stuff we we're willing to carry are low man so you know we. We accepted bro. We accept that and You know we'll continue to do our part on as we as we have more discussions and we collect minds together. you know. we'll put a plan and accident and and we will execute. What are the marching orders that you would like to see and how you want this to play out towards the end of the lease at south park. Yeah i think the orders that i would get to ask questions to the right people because you guys you guys south park and you got south park management but it's always a boss over a boss over boss you know in business. Yeah and they. They are so layer at you know. Nobody's gonna take full responsibility. If i was giving marching orders that would be the orders. Find out who gave final decision was there. Why as simple as they signed a contract and because at the end of the day you know we can go back and forth about you. Know us being a black business. We know they're going to deny that you know that's gonna be not so who made the orders and was this person ever thinking about the long term effect on people color or is that not even a thing business for them in a time. We'll do right into bigger part of this that we did not want people to think that you know that we gave up and then we just abandon our posts. Yes 'cause we. We are holding a post for economics. He's right and it's a. It's a lot of things that we've been through a gun and businesses charlotte. I our never tell they would scare the hell out of black people knew what we try to do. Business in charlotte. Wow but we we are we are steadfast enough and we are just sometimes negro enough not let people know. Put us out of business. That's right and so you know that's my main thing. I just don't want day. Oh we gave up or we didn't handle our business because that's not the case that's so far from the it needs to be understood. That's right that's right. We need to make clear. We need to make that very clear. That's why they got to answer for this as we move on and you know build our own.

Don't you know the first law physics anything. That's fun cost at least eight dollars. I thought to myself there's some truth to that. Now south park being south park but at the same time our free things fun and is free really free. I remember back in radio. We had a rule. We never did free concerts. We always charged at least five dollars. The reason being we found that if somebody put five dollars down they were a little bit more respectful. They enjoyed themselves a little bit more. They weren't as well obnoxious as if it were a free show how. He's noticed that when things were free and people were getting stuff they were always wanting more they were never satisfied now. I don't know if the figures five dollars or eight dollars ten dollars and with the way of the world now who knows if that figures twenty dollars is anything really free. Is that the first fix. I'm joking but no way something to think about.

"If you were to evaluate the landscape and let's say you. Let's say bill didn't exist today and you were to look at the available tooling out there and maybe find that there are some other self hosted kinds of things and would that have deterred you you know. Just kind of trying to rewind back if you had found something kind of filled that that need for you would you have gone and built something yourself or was that really the the critical kind of crux of the matter. That didn't exist yet and you wanted to. I think if i'd found what i was looking for the time i probably built it I just felt compelled for this thing to exist because my problem. The problem wasn't solved. If someone had sold to. Or any for me. I would have been great. I would have been very very happy and over the moon 'cause i'm way more about the problem being solved in solving the problem myself And so yeah. I think that if if the tool head existent of her would have used it already. But it didn't so i just felt like the need to build it so that's the story it it it was this. This need that you had and you were able to recognize that you're able to see clearly can of what you wanted to do. You saw the other competing or not even competing but can of the pieces of the puzzle. The different pieces of the puzzle One did one thing you liked another did another thing you liked but they didn't you know none of them did everything that you needed them to do. It wasn't necessarily. I'm going to put words in your mouth wasn't necessarily because it was a novel idea was because it was a mix of multiple ideas that had already been executed on just not together. Would that would that. Is that true. Yes that's right. I wasn't i took the best of both worlds sir Felicitous that may not know much about cic d- There are two different sort of flavors of cic d. The flesh flava is the self hosted option. And that's you run the tests yourself on sevens that you control and then you run the plane yourself as well And that's going to be done in in if you have a distributed team where the needs to access the tool from harm A lot of these tools aren't really that great of being run on open internet so a lot of sort of kept within. Vpn's or hidden inside offices that's the self hosted option. The other option is the hoisted cic de tolls Your circles you travis's and and those tools you handle that. Will you occurred to them and they manage the orchestration plane and the running tests yourself. The problem with that is twofold but the host options are two major problems. The first problem is you have to you. Have to handle a all of your employees if you want to do continuous deployment which i'm a big fan of Yet the beautifully keys to potty which for some organizations is inaugur the second problem is those tools ernie go so fast if you go to their pricing page. We'll see the slider that earning goes so far out of the rut and you can integrate lost without there. Being a big sign that says contact us to go foster And i didn't want any of those. I didn't accept the cons of the hosted option. It didn't accept the cons of the self hosted option. And so i was thinking to myself. Surely there is some middle ground And so i sort of set out to kind of cherry. Pick the best of both worlds sort of crepe credit mashup of what i thought would be the perfect tool and that's kind of how do was born and i wanted. I wanted to zero in on this idea. Because i think it's important to recognize especially for engineers who are kind of thinking. Oh i have this idea. And it doesn't exist but people can do it themselves if they go and you know mix x and y these two existing things out there A lot of these ideas that tend to be A kind of remixes of multiple other ideas together or you know taking one thing. The best of both worlds like you said. The new product is multiplicative in value. rather than additive. Right in other words somebody could probably go and run. You know two different things to get this same values but when you put them together. It changes the landscape. It's not the same thing is just running those two things back to back. It's changing Kind of the fundamental shape of that product in so it's important to recognize that because critic most critically i think a lot of people who are thinking about starting a business or they're you know they're they're thinking. Hey you know. I'm i'm might do the side thing. I might build a product on the side. I think a lot of them are thinking. Oh i have to come up with a truly new completely novel idea. or outs. Nobody's going to want it right. There can't be at shadow of this idea on the market. Otherwise you know it's it's already saturated every ideas already taken. And i have to come up with something totally new for to be successful and it couldn't be further from the truth. Yeah that's exactly right. There's no such really. there's no such thing as a new idea I think south park said it really. Well they have this episode of the simpsons already did it and there's a recurring joke where they have these themes or plots within the episode. But simpson's already done that particular plot. It's the same product as well. If you look at the big ones rubio burs taxis But they sort of took it and did a mash up and made it better airbnb. Her tells But they've taken it mashed up and made something new. See i city. I didn't invent the i. C d i didn't invent it at all. I just took the best of a bunch of really good ideas and put them together to create something new a new product. And i think that's kind of what a lotta the tools these days. I just improvements of existing ideas.

SIXTEEN most dramatic Wimbledon moments from the last decade countdown

"Hello everybody. Welcome back to another episode of the passing shot. Pim's and yeah, you looking. We're GONNA. Do Little little countdown yet. We are got some Robinson's to go with my with Alpo cost today because I can't find the payments to the back of my cupboard somewhere. But yeah, we've decided that actually. We normally debate moments boat. Many movements from Wimbledon over the past decade that we were kind of looking back through them. We all just H is just know enough say we're kind of doing this in teapot Sixteen. Tell you to, but we're just GONNA cut you the first eight day on and see how. So many to kind of two three. I'm also mentioned as well I. May my all whites as well summer, and getting into kind of like getting into the the women, the Wimbledon Spirit and Yes listeners, thanks for facts again in touch this. We put out to ask you. What are some of your dramatic moments from the uniform cade and we really appreciate you getting in touch. Who knows maybe you'll maidment will appear on the list, but yes, we will, of course say caveats. This is our list. This is purely our opinion. We think it's a pretty good list. There are some moments that you will be familiar with, but we think there are some vitamins I feel that have been you know maybe not. You might not be as familiar with, but yeah, let's get. Let's get into it starting a number sixteen in our countdown, and it's one I guess you know for British fans is a very a memorable I will say a fairytale story where we him back to Twenty-six. On its Marcus Willis and His run from you free. Pre would qualify to qualify to the main draw. To play Roger Federer. Is this more of a Fairytale Jolan Peter Cold winning Wimbledon in the film that we discussed on our lots podcast. Possibly say yeah. I feel like made some of our listeners from like ABC's might not even know of this story. They might even have never heard of Marcus Willis. British fans probably happen until two thousand sixteen. And Yeah. He came through the qualifying say. He was ranked down at like seven, hundred and seventy two in the world. Qualified One always marched and qualifying obviously. And then came up against recalled this baron case of I. Think he's Lithuanian in the first round, beat him. which she data alone is kind of pre. Wow, considering his ranking and the disparity between between the t pies and then. Who Does he then face in the second round, nee wombat reporter federal himself say oversee. That was going to be prime on sensical. And I guess teacups, isn't it? It's kind of like Oh. Marcus got through the second round. So annoying. He's paying federal. He could have a had charges against someone else, but on the other side is the actually if he's going to get through to the second round for like probably the only time in his career, he might as well Gad parents on Sundays go play unites the greatest champion. Wounds ever seen. Yeah. I, be the. The second camp I think if I'M GONNA. Go Out I. Want to go out in style and you know what better way to to go out. To have to have? Time, one of the greatest cross players of all time across across from you of from the net I think the story for me remarkable because the the the ingrained image I have in my head of Marcus Willis is. Is actually before this it wasn't. It's not baby. It was he was on like. He was like on a challenge tour event, and he had like a can of coke and a malls Baugh. One of his matches and Clemente to is like I think the commentator coming here. It was basically called him Kaufman for from South Park. and was like is this. Is this guy for real? Is The guy really heavy like? A cat of kind of self drake. Y-, you know tennis by the challenge, Tour and It just shows think it shows you the just the. It was just crazy the way he went from this sort of you know position where he wasn't really kind of know. Yes, he was talented, but I think he was really applying himself. It shows you I think it's a story that shows you that. If you do apply yourself, incredible things can happen and. You know, he went from literally like. Fee, Butts Four coaching is. Club. Thirty pounds of our lessons. To Yes said. Roger Federer, thank you very

"PGA Pittsburgh podcast referred me believes you should treat movements lifestyle, not just an activity. Are The great things that we've seen since Cova. Nineteen started as if anything could be great with something as bad as that is the fact that more people appear to be moving, especially moving outside which is our preferred method of movement. We've taken advantage of the rails to trails and partner and Philip Pittsburgh Lisa. WHO's behind? The camera has started biking more, and she's not comfortable. Riding on the roads. We spent some time in addition to being on the trails, walking and jogging some time riding bikes and one of the things we realized the. The more we bike, the more we look around social media, the more we walk is, there's a whole lot of winding going on with a biker. Saying the walkers get in our way or the runners get in our way and the runners or the Walker. Saying bikers are going too fast, so we thought we'd make this video podcast. You can either share it. We hope you do share it and you can share. Maybe it'll give you some good tips. Maybe you can share it and say look at this idiot. Who's offering these suggestions? So a couple things to remember is we have gems in Pittsburgh these rails to trails, and for the most part, unless somebody gets on it with a car, who shouldn't be it? We don't have to worry about cars having lived. Norfolk Virginia, having lived in Atlanta, Georgia, not having to worry about cars for running or walking or biking is absolutely phenomenal thing, but it doesn't mean that we can forget that we're still in a public place for still sharing so one of the most valuable tips we should remember no matter what we're doing running walking hanging out with our dogs. Taking your kids out is recognized that we're sharing the trail. The International Mountain Bike Association had the Hashtag actually reasonable for Hashtag share the trail way back in the nineteen nineties and think about this when you go out on the trails, even if you're a North Park if you're in South Park if you're Mingo Creek, Park your guest, your guest of the county, your guest of the Montour trail. It's volunteers, so think about what can I do to not only make my experience phenomenal, because movement is a lifestyle, but also make everybody else just some things we've seen in. If we've done these things to anybody who sees it, we apologize. Nobody's perfect errors are made. First thing is just be aware of your surroundings, so I ate listening to music or podcasts. What I run or walk or bike? If you'd like to do that, think about either getting something like trucks bones. They're outside the your headphones, or if you want to use headphones, put one in one year. So that way you can hear somebody calling out saying hey, watch out biker on the left runner passing you something like that not only is it for safety for you? Because nobody thinks anything's GONNA happen to them until it happens, but it also is being collegial and being nice to other people and really sharing the trail. On those same tokens, a lot of people like to get outdoors because they want to get away from all that noise in society. You know if you're if you're sitting in traffic. If you're in a bar restaurant is yes, you can do that now. You have a noisy workplace. Being out in nature is a wonderful thing, so if you're thinking maybe I'll just play my phone on speaker. Think again and remember share the trail. Maybe not everybody has your taste in music. I know most of you probably WANNA. LISTEN TO FIT LAB PITTSBURGH, but not everybody else. Else does another thing thing to think about is when you're on. These trails whether there trails or other things being aware of people who are coming behind you whether runners walkers bikers stroller runners I've actually been out running a race by a man. Pushing a stroller ran about fourteen, fifty, five five K was a little embarrassing for me until I found out, he was a lead running with his child, but just be aware, and if you're two or three abreast talking, you see, somebody's coming up behind you kind of be polite and go single file. Same thing if you're coming up on somebody else and you're walking till the brass. They're walking to abreast or their cycling. Two abreast kind of go single file for that. If you're overtaking, people think about it looks like if you're on a bicycle, this is especially common that we've seen when we're running or walking. bicyclists are fast even if you don't think you're going fast when you going ten eleven miles an hour. That's really fast, so maybe try to thread the needle between people if people are passing on the trail kind of hang back a second

"But they didn't leave the gesture towards like what's wrong with them. You know? It reminded me of like when south park the movie, they they're the first title was south park, one hell of a movie and like. NPA wouldn't accept that. And so then they did south park bigger longer uncut, which is much dirty. But they were okay with that. He was like they just allowed the one was way dirtier and more section. You know, I don't know if this is an apocryphal story. I just quickly tried to look it up. But, but you know, when he was imprisoned. That he that's not funny. Yeah. I know. But you know, what this is reminding me of is the office where David Brent is like going to the guy talking about Dostoevsky. And then the guy knows more than him. And so he always kind of leaves. And then comes back with some new fact. Yeah. So that's how you see. You see me as David Brent? Well, no both of us. Fact that that apparently he asked somebody for critique of pure reason, and they sent him the New Testament instead. So this is supposedly the heart the heart of his his Christianity, or at least familiar with Christianity. But also, clearly he liked cont. Well, I mean, I have to think that this is this is that's like that. Josh green secret joke of console, you know, like he was just telling Christians that they were right? So. Yeah. So I I think I've convinced now that that part too does add unimportant layer to the story. That this what he does. What he does with this mindset? This this rebellion against twice two makes five. Is very different in practice. Then what you might expect from his from his self described heroism in part one. And it's also like, yeah. And I think it can be seen as a kind of. We'll talk about this more next episode. But like a kind of rationalization, absolutely. There was when we read one of the bore his the library able and there was a phrase there about justifying one's life looking for the book that would justify one's life. There's a phrase here in partout as well about justifying and in my call it rationalizing, but it's like he has he he smart enough to have constructed a philosophical position to kind of be able to live with himself in his action. Exactly. That's I think and I think so that's one I think way like and we'll go into. Tails on that next time. But one of the things I wanna think about is. What is the underground man's if he has true position? I mean, he's called by dusty ski a paradoxical list that the. Which I think is very good way of describing him. But does he have coherent position? And then I think a more interesting question that because I think that one is more that I don't think he has one. That's that's the problem of his consciousness like he keeps going back and forth. He's never settled. But what is dust AFC ski doing with this? And is he taking sides here, or is taking a coherent view. And what's the import of the fact that he puts himself at the beginning. And the end of this is a really interesting question that I'm excited to talk about. Agreed. I kept meaning to say this. But it reminds me of you know, when William James was confronted with what he thought was the truth of determinism. Right. He thought the science of psychology can't exist unless determine him is true. Famously said that his first active free will would be to believe in free will..
