"You have to be proud of what your kids do. I know that We are. We beat him 49 42 during the regular season down there, and we got it done on the defensive end and tonight because they've got some really talented offensive players. We beat him 46 35 on their floors. So we got it done on the defensive end and we told our kids That That's how we were gonna win the game because we weren't gonna be able to run up down the floor and outscore him and kids find the game plan and went out and executed it and make us look good. So are you up most of the game or sit back and forth. We got off to a good start getting old. I can't remember all of it, but I think we were up most of the game. Barbara before half time, Um, and then got it stretched out a little bit there in the 3rd and 4th quarter, And then they started pressing a little bit and Um, you know, forcing some things up, and we did a great job on the boards. Living them, Um, knock down some free throws and held on You make it sound easy. It wasn't You know what we just about? Got being the last 11 seconds of the game. Um or the longest 11 seconds in my life. I believe I'm sure you know that. Yeah, I do. Right. So who plays well for you tonight? Defensively, our team did, But, gosh, I'll forget someone Toby builds had 12 points. He's our point. Guard eyes. The junior Braxton Meyer started forced tonight. I believe he had 12 He's only been here. Six men, but we start him because we needed a better defensive matchup on Lane Sparks, and we put him on lane and then subbed. Another sophomore in James Williams also spell him and give him a break. Tailed sparks played well, defensively, but a good sheer force. And then we have two good senior leaders Jonah Graham and, um Cole Martin, and they didn't score a lot of points. But just, you know, we got it. Della Team defense. Well, congratulations tonight. Connors will, but with a great win over Greensburg at Greensburg, the final 46 35 Carrie Brown. Congrats. Thanks for the call. Good luck next week. Thank you. You're welcome. Thank you. Jim Brunner, The Hall of Famer from W B. A T. In marrying on the call from the Well, it looks to me like the missus in Los Sectional missus Noor Beach, Norwell 49 45. Jim, Thanks so much for the call. Thank you, Bobby, and history was made tonight. The Indians had gone 66 years without a sectional title longest streak in the state. They came from behind to beat a south. More. Dominated Elwood Elwood Norwell team 49 45 a heck of a ball game, and they're still celebrating and guess that he was getting ready to say they have to be celebrating against city right now. I think that's a long time. Now that is a long time and even they've had really good teams. Yes, they had the one that really got away from was after marrying three petered in 85 86 87. They beat the Giants that 88 season. I think they drove fire trucks all the way to Gary and back that night when they won that game, and they got beaten triple overtime the next night by Madison Grant, and that's the closest they ever came till the night. Norwell starts five South Moore's remember Coach McBride son had a heck of a ball game tonight. He had 23. His name is Luke McBride. There's a name you're gonna hear a lot about the next two years from normal. That's always been a quality program up there in Norwell. All right. So take me through this game. Tell me how they win it. Well, Norwell jumps all over him. Had a 10 point lead most of the first half. And then, uh, Mr Norwalk, Standard the defense and really got out and got after him. And they had to seniors that we're not gonna lose again. Landon Swatter and also having a big game tonight was calling the order. They combined for 29 points and a very low scoring game. 49 45. "On that track outside without the ball and I think we've done that Mark maybe about a week. I mean a long man what out touching a basketball really a week. It just tells you yeah, it just tells you his impact, you know, he wanted to send a message. He was aware of the Olympics and he heard about how we were handling ourselves and preparation for the season and he sent a message that year man. And I don't think Reggie Williams really gave a day he gave about running. He wasn't going to do all that. He's the boss John player Reggie was not as much but I remember body else man. I remember Dwayne just I mean he wanted to just drop you know, he he was so pissed off. But I thought it was funny. I didn't mind running. I was pissed but at the end I didn't care. I just I just knew everybody else was upset and I thought somebody was going on Tilghman. I thought maybe you'll go off on coach. This is going into South Moore jr. I know you may have had enough of them at the time. But this is the impact that I mean, you can't look back a lot of them for it because you know, he's known as a disciplinarian, you know in that sense, but he wanted to get his message across and he did that with all of us no matter what background we have how we were doing in school. Some of the guys were, you know did well in school and somewhere, you know, having some trouble at Georgetown so long he was on top of all of that and he wanted to send a message coming back from the Olympics. I'm not going to say maybe because of the outcome of the Olympics that he came back home and took it out on us. I'm not going to do that wage. Yep, and then you do that. I'm not you know, I'm not going to go there. I'm just saying that he kept up with Georgetown basketball while he was at the Olympics. I think the only one that didn't run was Charles cuz he was on the team, you know an Olympic days, but that's kind of stands out to me is that time when he was not on the campus, but when he was on the campus, even when he's not around his presence was there I didn't never wanted to come up to our room or anything like that to monitor how we handle on ourselves because we are everybody was always looking over their shoulders with Coach Mancos value summer me some so those are the memories I have of Coach, you know practice the games. I know how they affected everybody else..

"Ray Appleton. Also in the news today, I forgot to mention there's more noise positive noise from conservative black activists. Going reparations absolutely unnecessary. They're calling it a sham. They're calling it the visit and that reminds me. I don't believe I shared the words yesterday of the NFL great Super Bowl champion Burgess Owens safety. That's right, every bad thing that's happened to my race over the years goes right back to the Democratic Party. I forgot to do that. That'll in with his new noise is I call it today. Coming out of conservative black pundits. All right. Vaccines, vaccinations antibac- all of that on this program. Man, you listen, you know that it gets testy and women, this is really, I guess, because women are moms, this is really an area, especially if, if it's the antibac- stuff, the other side of axons man, it's like it's homeless one hundred percent, female and its response. And again, probably because their moms women get really. Really angry about this on both sides of the, the issue of direction or not to vaccinate, but there is a Bill to restrict vaccine, medical exemptions. And how did I place this earlier? How did they call it to increase oversight of doctors who gave the, the vaccine's to state school children? It's one step closer to becoming law. Now, now, what, what side of the issue is this on a little bag Raymond Santa Bill to seventy six you wanna write that down study at later? If you're passionate about this one, it passed all of its major legislative hurdles yesterday. It would require exemptions in this state to meet federal guidelines, and would task state officials and appointed doctors with monitoring them. Okay. So this thing has been facing bipartisan scrutiny, if I can call it that it was in a long meeting, almost a full day and the Bill passed through the assembly house committee on the nine to vote for members of staining it's now heading to assembly appropriations. I believe, Lorenzo Gonzalez from San Diego is the co author of the Bill. And if signed into law, the proposal carries the price, tag, it does fifty point five million dollars for the next five years. Now, one of the individuals who authored, the Bill is state Senator, Richard pan. He's a democrat from Sacramento. He says that this particular Bill is necessary to crack down. I want to quote him on unscrupulous doctors that are issuing fraudulent medical exemptions, and it would strengthen two thousand fifteen law. He also wrote that eliminated personal beliefs. From a list of reasons to skip vaccinations. Remember that two thousand fifteen when this hit, I remember it. Vividly people were becoming just mentally unglued on the game. Jay talk lines. Quote this Bill maintains and restores the integrity of the medical, exemption symptoms. The medical exemptions system. This Bill protects the right of these children's to attend school and insurance Californians, have the freedom to go about their communities without the risk of becoming infected with serious preventable diseases and quote. Now as we all know most students in California Ramya, Nuys, they've had their vaccine, so right, there are these low vaccination clusters around the state. It seems that there are particular areas where birds of a feather flock together. These anti vaccine Unity's. I don't know how that happens. I don't know why it happens. There are more than one hundred schools in California reporting exemption rates of ten percent or higher and pan. Says the author of this Bill, these schools, represent the Tinder of disease wildfire. Giving example. A cold went off the internet here Jenny black, who is a California mother, as testifying in support of the measure during the hearing sent her ten year old daughter received a heart transplant as a toddler. My god. Can you imagine that? And now relies on everyone around her being immunized to keep her well protected because her immune system is zapped. Alright so she can only hang around with kids have had their vaccines. She went on to say this mom kids in public school have actual medical exemptions them and their families. They've been through the death Savell being public education shows that they've made it through to the other side. They have the right to the education in safe environment without the threat of preventable disease, sending them back to the hospital or worse. End quote. Now. So what is changed from the original law in two thousand fifteen elements of the measure, we're changed even earlier this week, fine-tuned that recently to earn approval of these skeptical lawmakers and Newsome who the governor had voiced concerns that, that government bureaucrats would infringe on families medical personal decisions. But after the author reduced some of the state power authorized in the earlier vision Gavin Newsom said he'd signed the Bill in its current form. I mean, he's there to protect the citizens of California. Right is not protecting them. I guess it really depends on where you sit on this whole vaccine thing. Quote the amendment reflect not only my concerns, but also a number of key representatives whose job it is to carry out the law. This is the governor this will make it workable, and address some of the bureaucratic anxieties now, the amendments if you want me to get a little weedy here, little technical, whether you don't or you do I'm going do it anyway. It expands the guidelines and loosens government control, which failed to carry favor with the opponents believe me hundreds of Californians, lined up to speak against this Bill yesterday. Following the committee hearing, there was this large group protesting outside of the governor's office chanting. We will not comply. We will not comply, and they're singing patriotic songs. You can assume that these people are very much against vaccines, and vaccinating. So bans offices, saying the senators receiving death threats, of course, that always happened in California, some of the individuals showed up against the Bill. We're wearing shirts that were printed with blood splattered. Like, like fingerprints, and all that across a photograph of him on the t shirt during the testimony, one person called the measure murderous another referred to the Nuremberg trials at imprisoned Nazis after World War Two a third acquainted pans effort with communist dictatorship. Come on people. Now advocates for physicians rights said, SP two seventy six still places the doctors under the microscope of the state government. The Bill authors, just put a huge target on doctors backs which is worse than a chilling effect, but a killing effect of legitimate medical exemptions in the Santa, California. According to the organization's legal consultant. There's again is the advocates for physicians rights, whoever they are. So this thing is going to become law. All right. Probably it doesn't mean that it's going to be changing anybody's minds, our actions on whether to, to vaccinate or not. Because I don't see anything here that, that carries any penalties. If you choose to do one thing, or the other, you know what I'm saying, what it does, is it just sort of tightens up some technical aspects of the first law, two thousand fifteen that a lot of people went absolutely nuts over. But this is once again. In in giving you the law in the short of it. This is a Bill that is going to restrict vaccine, medical exemptions. It's going oversight over the doctors who issue these vaccines exemptions to California school children, and it's very close to becoming law. It will pass the governor will sign it. And you have to remember to the two thousand fifteen Bill, this is the one that really made. Everybody go off the deeper eliminated personal beliefs from the list of reasons to skip vaccinations. So there's no longer applicable. I don't like them. I think they they're full of pig's blood, and they'll kill my child, personal belief forget about it. You still have to do it. Is there any notable statistic that says more and more kids in the state of California being vaccinated? Yes. Yes. This whole antibac- thing seems to be slowly going away. And do you find that unusual at all? But the California is, perhaps, the only state in the union, where this is such a big issue. It really is. If you look at the, the amount of political noise, there's thing is curried leave to California. So you hear this and you think what you as a parent as a grandparent of young children. Can this whole toback Sonate not to vaccinate in a thing that's going on in the state of California? This'll make it harder allegedly for you not to vaccinate it's going to remove a lot of the medical exemptions. The personal beliefs have already been removed by that law from four years ago. This is slowly putting the screws on what some would say are parental rights, but as I said earlier, when the, you know, the rights of the parent interfere with the third party child who's infected with a disease that may kill him. We got a problem. Don't we? So after hearing all this, you say what for nine zero fifty eight fifty eight and eight hundred seven seven six fifty eight fifty eight. Is California doing the right thing, or it's California doing the wrong thing, when it comes to vaccinating our children. You tell me and you'll tell me right after news break on Cam J. Here's his car. After Jesse small could face prosecution, again, for staging a hopes attack after a judge appoints, a special prosecutor to examine handling of the case. "The host, on, Katie WN are their own, and do not necessarily reflect the views of this station, its management, or Beasley Media Group. It's time for the USC Trojan football report, presented by the south point hotel and casino. Let's join co tarbey hide, and Chuck as, as provide live analysis of SE football. The Pac twelve conference and the latest college football action of the day. Well, good evening. Everyone is to huddle up in. It's time a time to right along with us here. What are Trojan football report? What would you every Saturday nights from nine to ten pm, as we always say, you know what? Football never goes away. If you're going to work hard at anything you do you do it all the time, you think about it all the time. So we Chuck as a myself love to be with you all the time Chuck as good evening to you time to buckle up and up and get started with tonight's addition of Trojan football report coach, as you mentioned football never goes away. And it's always an exciting time as we hit June because we can see the regular season starting on Saturday night. Obvious thirty I seven thirty kickoff with Fresno state. So we're going to work from your standpoint like you would do on a coaches timelines, because believe it or not. You have been hard wired that way. And that's something that you live for a long, long time. While you're right, Chuck. I'll tell you as we say football never goes away today at USC they had their Trojan football camp for young kids. It was absolutely fantastic to staff. Was there and all the kids go, there for couple of weekends and they go through the Trojan football drills, and they have an opportunity to make clay health and into football coaches, which is absolutely fantastic. And if you look around the country, all the football programs have the football camps, now even some of the lower division schools have them. I know the university of Redlands had one yesterday, and they've had their nine one and it's a little bit of a different type of setup now where they have the kids from the area, the inland empire in southern California. They all come to the university of relatives, and then four year, universities, come and watch these kids, see south Moore's juniors workout, so it's another way of evaluating talent and also giving the opportunity for division three division two schools to all. Also see the talent. So as we always say football never goes away, it's a year round sports. Sometimes, I think too, there's a little bit of something that might be too much as far as the burn out type of affect that coaches get, as well as players get I've always felt you'd need some time away from what you do all the time so that you look forward to coming back to it. Interesting and the game of football, Jenny bigger and bigger, and more and more promotions going on back to USC players. They're, they're in their summer drill mode warranty out at the end of the week. There. Guess final workout day, USC football administration put out a video of their team competing in it's on the war. So the team has competed all week long as a waiver working on their individual drills working on their bench, working on all the things that go along with building a successful offseason program, and appears the last thing that they do on Friday. This was the first week I believe when they're back into regular summer workout activity organized through their strength and conditioning, as they have a big tug war and. A little bit interesting in the sense of I understand the esprit de corps part of it. But from the head football coaches standpoint, what is your feeling when you see video like that, when you see your price to Napalese in non football positions having a struggle? Well, I think Chuck that first of all any conditioning type of drill or anything you're stick, strengthen did think coach is going to do. He's going to have a meeting with me and I'm going to ask him why we do it. What does it have to do it football? How does it help us become a better football player on the field off the field, and anything that is a part of our program? And I think that right now what he is convinced coach Clint clay held as as competing trying to win now. Who's going to cross the line? Papi was the offense against the defense. I saw it happening. And at the end all cheering and everything that went on at the end. But to me, I really don't see how that relates to getting better as a football player. And I think there's more harm than Bobby gain, which you compete, and everything you do. When you when you lift weights you compete on getting one more rap or five more pounds or one tenth of a second faster in the forty or whatever you do. Don't drop a pass or cats. One handed pass or all the different things. You try to do to become a better football player, the skills and techniques that you practice, but tug o war, when you think of a tug of war. First of all, you've got your cleats in the ground you're pulling it. If you wearing cleats, there's so many chances of pulling a muscle in your arm, or tearing a bicep muscle off your bicep, or pictorial or having a knee injury or twist, an ankle or, or something like that happen that you call a freak accident. You pobably nothing will ever happen. You hope it does it but you certainly don't want to lose football player through some type of fun. Driller some activity that really. Does it relate to the game of football so myself? And I'm sure clay Helton as a proved this type of activity, but I'm just more or less in my opinion, as far as if I was coaching the team. And currently right now I was the head football coach. I would I would say there's something else we can do to learn how to compete rather than have a tug of war. Well, it's interesting because again, promotion is everything and social media world, that was a video that's been put out in regards to the other aspect of a video is one of their players recruit from Tennessee arrived in Los Angeles. And he was picked up at LAX and his journey back to USC start his enrollment at USC and his summer school was documented, and almost like a video Agassi of, let's meet this player. From your standpoint, when you have players coming in or getting attention like that on social media that the university is promoting. What is your feeling in regards to that from a team element? Well, first of all, I think that all players are created equal. I think it's great. It's great to get a southeastern conference, tackle that started at the university of Tennessee. But also, you have to respect your players have been a party a program for so many years and decided to come there as a freshman or junior college program, or at the completion of spring, or was it starting offense of tackle, I think this young man coming in is a great player. I, I hope he's a great player as far as the Trojans are concerned, but I think he has to learn that the team has to learn and he has to learn, and I think the social media, people that run that at USC have to learn he's no different than anybody else. And in fact, he's probably a little bit below. Everybody else was everybody else. Has gone through spring practice. And then the things that are necessary to say that, you know, we're Trojan now this guy they accept him. I think is a great player, and I think he's going to help the Trojans but he's got to work, his way up. He's got to be accepted. He can't be somebody that's special before he gets there. But he hasn't hit anybody or done anything or done anything special, maybe at Tennessee, but not at USC. So I think that, you know, you gotta be careful on how you promote your players. And sometimes the media department gets a little bit carried away and sometimes the head football coach or the coaches themselves don't know, really what's going on. A lot of the time with the media department, and they need to be able to be in charge of that, too. Like I say everything falls under the head football coach and he has responsible for everything. And I think sometimes you, you sometimes they'll look at everything. And I think you've got to know that, hey, you know, this isn't necessary. We'll find out who he is. He reid. He's a part of our program, but so far there's the more special than him than anybody else. And I think that's something to cap to learn and highlighting it keeping the team around being a part of our program, something we like to have you common help us when about let's prove yourself. I Chuck, I really believe that and sometimes people try to overdo their marketing overdo, the social media overdo it where they don't really understand if they haven't been a coach or a team member to understand how difficult it is to put a team together to compete it. They gotta remember to everybody else's trying to win too. And here's a guy who's coming and you hope is real serious about being started improving the USC football program, but he has a senior graduate from the university of Tennessee. And by the way, a good football player coach, one of the things that is done in that particular player was not the highlighted player. I was referencing. But the USC freshman dean be on of Columbia, Tennessee, who they recruited out of the SNC. And on the Twitter side. It's called bringing that Tennessee, Jews to southern California. This is a UFC football tweet saying, now that this is your home. Welcome home, donnas, and already applying nickname, Hollywood D. And it's very, very reminiscent of the identity that when biggie Marshall chain from law means Polly and a way of promoting a player visit defensive back who has not played. So these are the kind of things that are going on right now along with the summer camps. You have tug of wars. You have players arriving at LAX. "Just had him. We just said that. Yeah. We had our we gotta try outs student. Try outs. That's that ever happened. Has anyone shown up at the tryouts? And you're just like oh my God. I never this. We didn't recruit him no idea. This kid is. And all of a sudden you he ends up on the team. Yeah. It happens every year that like this year we have ten that tried out and made the team for spring. Now, they have to do well in spring, and then, but they all have the possibility to to to make the team and in the fall. But I think at least, you know, I mean, maybe all tattle make make make the fall team. But we've had probably about that number each year. You know, maybe five to ten that the try out in January tryouts and then end up being on the roster in September. And these are freshmen these are freshmen that just come out like. It's like it's high school in some ways mostly freshmen, but we do get south. Moore's we do get juniors. We even get seniors time to time. There was. There's a youngster who's a wide receiver Rinaldi who he said that he saw who's inspired when he saw our team in Rome. Two two and a half years ago. And and then wanted to come to Michigan. So he got into Michigan enrolled in Michigan. And and he came out in January and reminded me, I that we met when we were in Rome, and he was inspired by the team, and we were there and watch the play football. So he's he he's made the spring for for this. He's able to go through spring practice, and and and be able to. To have an opportunity to make the team coach all kinds of stories all kinds of stories go go go on down here. Tim Becker hall. What what excites you about the coming season? I mean, people get so excited. I mean, if you could tell us, what should we be excited about what should be looking forward to what what do you think is the thing that people should be optimistic about is the season approaches? I think our team is. And watch them over the last four months thing. I'm I'm excited. I'm excited about is. They there's some guys that are a bit under the radar, and, but Hungary, and they've really work too. To get themselves. They have in shape for the spring practices. They got a ship on their shoulder. Yeah. We understand. We know what what happened in a couple of our ball games last year. And there's a chip on our shoulder. We're wearing that. But we're also wearing the fact that we regular season. We were we were tied for the big ten championship. So, you know, both those things. Yeah. Yeah. We we look at the score and are in a rivalry game. And and where that and also understand we're pretty far along to it. We're we're ready to just get it over the top and get to the get to the very top win that championship and not have it be a co champion chip. That's what I'm excited about. I think our guys are guys are have developed in there at that point coach. Are you ready to do traffic and weather when we come back after this break with that we're going to be known to mankind? You wanna see? All right. We're gonna take a break. We're gonna come back with traffic and weather with coach Jim Harbaugh after.

"Whether it's a free throw or lose ball or an assignment on three point shooter. Indigo game execution making sure that we take good care of all have a good pivot. Get a quality shot at the basket. But when we when we got on the plane to come back to Tuscaloosa, even though we lost a game. We learned a lot about ourselves. And we didn't want to lose twice to Tennessee by coming out against ole miss and not having a really good performance. You shouldn't really fascinating coach she talked about last year. You were among the youngest. And suddenly, you got a lot older. That's college basketball, though, isn't it? It really is. You know, we had five freshmen that we played a lot in games, and now does Gaza south Moore's we had some guys that were sitting out Raleigh Norris who's in the graduate program. Tevin MAC whose array junior, we're just a lot older and more experienced. Now, we have real NCA tournament experience. And a lot of our guys have played in a ton of SEC gains, tough SEC games. So some of them stakes that we were making a little bit in a nine conference and in some of our SEC gains. We expe. Spectators are high you're that we shouldn't be making those same mistakes, but a little bit about this season so far because you've really had it all to you pretty much playing very difficult schedule, then, you know, winning against Kentucky dropping games, a I know you're expecting you expect all that. But, but how would you characterize it right now because we're about to enter that stretch where not that everything didn't matter? But everything really does matter now. Yeah, we've just been inconsistent. But sometime you'll people fail to give your opponents credit. You know, we played a game against Texas. A and then we're starts makes a one league three baby shot to beat us at the buzzer. So you gotta take the good with the bad. But why were we are net position? We shouldn't have never been in that position. So our guys learning. We got a seventeen year old porn going. That's overachieved this year. We have some veteran guys where have best basketball is a head of them. We've had some unbelievable crowds at home. Our students have showed out and been loud rowdy and proud. We've won a game on the road at Missouri. Come really, close at Tennessee. So I think our best basketball is a head of us. I will tell you. I watched the the game against them and coach. Yeah, I'm sure at some point you just have to shake your head. Because I don't know what the odds were that game going the way it did. But they were pretty pretty significantly against an and you lost it, but you bounce back. And that's all that matters. And now, you you're part of something that's really special you spend a lot of time out in Texas. So you understand the importance of the big twelve you're you head out to Baylor for part of the SEC big twelve challenged with the fared quite well last year, what's at stake here. I mean other than I mean, obviously a game. But there's a lot of pride at stake as well. And prestige. Wjr yet. It really is in my first two years, Paul. We weren't a part of it. And I made it loud and clear that we love to be a poet out. And hopefully, we can improve what our recruiting and our team can get to standard and level. What we could participate in it. And unfortunately, we did last year and a huge game at home against Oklahoma where common Sexton in trae young. We're featured in and now we're going to Baylor a tough environment on the road. Not only just represent an Alabama. But representing our conference in an SEC conference where we got you know, sixteens ranked in potentially nine teams have an opportunity or more to play an attorney moment with the NCAA tournament with the way things are going. So it's going to be really an honor for us to represent the SEC playing against a terrific opponent. Yeah. And and certainly that's not an easy trip. Again, it's not like you're walking..

I just thought our kids really came in and we're very focused. We jumped out on twenty seven to two in the first quarter. And you know, like we've talked before December just continues to produce it continues to get better. And it's been a big difference maker lately. Well, it certainly has been and then he gets underscored tonight when you look at limiting Gibson southern to only forty five points. That's a great defensive effort. Yeah. And obviously I mean our goal team goal. Every night we go out. It's fifty points or less and take our kids. Take a lot of pride in that now. And it's just nice to see them produce on both ends of the floor. And we started out in the extended our defense in the full court and turn them over early. And just start our decent jump on offense. Catholic Church's "secret archives" detail playbook for concealing abuse

"A bombshell for the Catholic. Church a Pennsylvania grand jury finds credible evidence that more than three hundred Catholic priests sexually abused at least a thousand children over a period of decades across that state abuse allegedly was kept, quiet by the Catholic church and a cover up that stretches to the Vatican Julie south Moore who covers religion for the Washington Post. Is following the story and spoke with komo's Taylor van Cise and. Carleen Johnson Julie what sort of information was The grand jury provided with and I gotta tell you. I watched some of that press conference from the attorney general yesterday and some of the details it's just it's remarkable how disturbing it really is it really is there's some heartbreaking detail in, this report and a lot of it came right out of the church's own archives they kept secret archives as they move to these. Priests from parish to parish Reveal the abuses they'd. Been accused of. But they kept detailed notes in the, grand jury had access to all of those files on they also interviewed. As many victims as they could and other witnesses they spent eighteen months investigating Is it clear at this point how. Many of these priests or bishops are still active within the within the church or if any. Of them will face criminal charges the. Three hundred plus priests. Who are named in this almost none of them will face criminal charges some. Of them are deceased because this report goes all the way back to nineteen, forty seven many of them are no longer living almost none are potentially none of them are in active ministry today in five of the six dioceses we. Know that there are no active priests who are named in this report and in terms of those who are retired or who have been removed from ministry because of their actions who are still, living who could face criminal charges the statute of limitations. Has run out for most of them which is going to be a major, outcome of this, report is that there's, already calls in Pennsylvania to raise that statute of limitations so that more of these people can. Face criminal charges we're talking to Julie's ause Moore who writes are covers religion for the Washington Post so it took, so long for the abuse everything to come out. In Pennsylvania and this case is so astronomical is this indicative of some of the other stuff is. Yet to be uncovered in other states do you think it is part of a wave right. Now of investigations around the world in. Australia cardinal Pell is. On trial right now in Chile there's a major investigation here in Washington cardinal. McCarrick just became the first cardinal in US history to step down because of sexual abuse allegations this is a moment where a lot of what people thought had been dealt with in the past fifteen years we're realizing that it hasn't. And there still so much more to come to light law, enforcement obviously being the first to comment on all of this but what about the Vatican has pope Francis said anything has not weighed, in on this report and has said they won't even. Say whether anyone who has read it which is surprising given the fact that Footprints, this has been criticized repeatedly lately for not taking sexual abuse. Seriously enough in the eyes of many

"But they what they've settled down with and what they reverted back to was what they've been do in the past few years with j t barrett obermayr started taking the reins and hey let's get some but let's get him run game moments run him a little bit i am with you you can get away with j t barrett planned quarterback position waited last year probably nine games of the season but there are three or four games you have to have him step up and make some critical passes and this weekend probably would be one of those gains i think he'll be able to do that but when you play michigan in ann arbor we have the big ten championship game at penn state you have to have him take that next step is a quarterback danny you have concern about the playmakers in the last couple of years allows state is head two receivers that left early bit probably shouldn't on their own nfl rosters but they could have been stars redshirt south moore's had at least two years left to play do you think that that hurt the young core and did you like what you saw from indiana against in the end of the second half by said i think i think there has to be that guy that steps up the guy that was a person harbin for urban mayass lord of that type of play mirror gamble yes exact went now he had a critical drop in that game because o j two barrett still through over three hundred yards but that was about a fifty are completion for a touchdown that he would have had walls on his that line looks a lot better maybe were not sitting here wondering how does it look as a passer even though he delivered it exactly he added his great throw so i think that has to be the emergence of that type of player the guy who you can get the ball in his hands and just take it over to kind of them are maybe a check it out it's on it it doesn't matter what position it is for a high state but they have to have that guy who's an elite difference maker in the game you also can't overlook how courageous team is at home yeah a playing really really led home they they haven't lost him.
