"-scoring Miami Dolphins on Sunday their first game since Jack Del Rio was fired. You're a team captain Kendall Fuller. How's it going without your defensive coordinator? Yeah it's a little weird especially I think it's just about fourth year here so I've been used to having Jack and Vees out there and things like that so it's definitely a little weird. You hate to see any of this happen in football whether it's during the season, off season, things like that and at the same time you know it's a business you gotta go on to the next game, go on to the next play and that's what it to takes be a professional. As they round out their new look defensive staff the commanders are reportedly adding Jim Salgado on an interim basis. Vivek Ramaswamy Talks ESG and Black Rock

"Of our retirement funds, of the money in your investment accounts or your 401k accounts, and they use it to buy up shares in corporate America of every public company in America to tell them to then adopt environmental and social standards that run contrary to A, the will of most Americans and B, contrary to their best financial interests. So I think this is a largest scale fiduciary breach and arguably antitrust violation of our century. It is a company that is using your money without your knowledge to advance somebody else's left wing political agenda and it's happening every day without you voting at the ballot box to support it. So I think it is a major problem and it's a major threat to our constitutional republic and it's a threat to capitalism and I find it deeply concerning that that same leader, Larry Fink, the leader of BlackRock, has now not only tilted his hands on the scale of the Democratic Party but is now looking to turn the Republican Party into a subsidiary of their own power as well. And I can talk more about that, Mark, but the long story short is it was very concerning and the ESG agenda is fundamentally anti -American and now to see it potentially infiltrate the Republican Party is a problem and I'm going to call that out. It's a huge problem and in addition to him you saw these corporatists giving a standing ovation to Xi of China, which why he went to San Francisco and Nikki Haley is lobbing them and they are lobbing her and I'm thinking to myself, how the hell is she ever going to stand up to Communist China? No? Well, she doesn't stand up to Communist China, Mark. It's an act that she puts up. When she was the best ambassador to the UN, these are her words not mine, she called China our great friend. She's brought Chinese companies with affiliations with the CCP to her state of South Carolina. I think you could say people made mistakes in the past, did they learn from them? Fine. But in the present, the very mega donors in the UN party who are propping her up, the Larry Finks

"Malcolm X had it right. Play cut 78, please. To understand this, you have to go back to what young brother here referred to as the house Negro and the field Negro. Back during slavery, there was two kind of slaves. There was the house Negro and the field Negro. The house Negro, they lived in the house with master. They dressed pretty good. They ate good because they ate his food. But he left. They lived in the attic or the basement, but still they lived near their master and they loved the master more than the master loved himself. They would they would give their life to save the master's house quicker than the master would. The house Negro, if the master said we got a good house here, the house Negro say, yeah, we got a good house here. Whenever the master said we, he said we. That's how you can tell a house Negro. Black voters are drifting away from the Democrats. Will that hurt Biden in South Carolina? Columbia, South Carolina, the night before Cami Harris swooped into South Carolina to file Joe Biden's paperwork for a primary. A group of young Democrats met over dinner not far from the state party headquarters. They were trying to make sense of why people seem so down on Joe Biden, the president. Not surprisingly, they were in a mixed mood in a banner of good elections for Democrats. They can't figure out why. Black voters are walking away from the Democrat Party. Now, this is just South Carolina. We're going to win South Carolina no matter what. But it makes you wonder. Now, some people say, but you know, the black vote, it's insignificant. Well, in Georgia, it's a huge deal and you cannot win. The White House without winning Georgia, the math just does not add up, it doesn't add up and you could win massively in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia and Michigan with sizable and winnable portions of the electorate in urban areas and in black America. The Democrat Party right now is experiencing a schism. The Israel Hamas issue is fracturing the Democrat Party. And now this new movement of black leaders and by the way, it is rappers, it is urban, urban church leaders in black America. Here's the key. In October, New York Times, CNN poll of voters in six battleground states also indicates a potential shift from 2020. 71% of black voters said they would likely vote for Biden if they had to choose a candidate and 22% said they would likely choose Trump. Now, even if that is off by 10 points, if 12% choose Trump and only 80% choose Joe Biden, the ball game has completely changed. The Democrats and their math is based on building up from the bottom of we are going to maximize black turnout. This is one of the reasons why they revere Stacey Abrams. She was able to weaponize mass mail-in voting and relaxed signature verifications through a variety of different outreach methods that are still awfully mysterious to this day to be able to get Democrats competitive and even successful in the state of Georgia, where otherwise Georgia was not a Democrat state at all. It was a Republican plus 10 state, but they focused on the voting laws and increasing and maximizing turnout in black America. And their math turned out to be correct. That's why they were so focused on Georgia for years. It was always perplexing. Why is it? Because they saw an opportunity. But if the black electorate even defects by five to seven percent, the ball game changes and then you put in Cornel West, then you put in Kennedy on top of it. And the questions need to be continually asked.

RINO Billionaires Are Now Coalescing Behind Nikki Haley

"Wants you to know she's up for the fight. She's told us over and over again that she's a woman. Why does she have to tell us over and over again that she's a woman? Isn't that what the Libs do, or at least used to do? Okay, got it. She's a woman. Perfect. But she's not Margaret Thatcher. Let's be honest. The problem is Nikki Haley's not a conservative. I've said it before I'll and say it again. She's George Bush in a dress. Obviously what I mean by that is ideologically. This is why Karl Rove is getting behind her. This is why others who horrific have losing streaks are getting behind her. Billionaires getting behind her. There's a report out now, I think it was Axios, that said that she was meeting with the. No, no, there's a report on Axios that says Mitt Romney's big money guy has now moved over to Kelly's team. What? Oh yeah. Romney's guy. And there's more. Remember this guy Fink at Black Rock? I wrote about him and The Democrat Party hates America and we've talked about him very often. Black Rock? Remember he was pushing ESG, that is, he was pushing hard this woke agenda and trying to impose it on all the other companies that he helps finance or invests in? A one -man wrecking machine, this guy Fink. Well guess who she met with a few days ago? Him. Why would she meet with him? Ron DeSantis. May I use his name, Mr. Producer? Is that okay? What drew $2 billion from Black Rock because of what they were doing? Yeah. Thank you. Iggy Haley And Iggy Haley was the one who said she said it herself. I know this to be true. I checked with my stepson, Mr. Producer. And that is that Disney, she said Disney can come to South Carolina while DeSantis is fighting Disney. She invites them to South Carolina and I can go on and on. And it's not just her versus DeSantis or her versus Ramaswami or versus her Trump, it's her versus us. Us. So you're seeing, if you were to ask Mitch McConnell who he liked, Nikki Haley. They'll all like Nikki Haley. In Washington D .C., Republicans. the That's who

"They are absolutely enamored with her. This is why, if she gets momentum, and she may, she may- Iowa's going to be a real big test. New Hampshire, South Carolina, these early primary states, and incidentally, we've got some great news to share. My dear friend and my pal, Joey Hudson from South Carolina, is going to be my 2024 election correspondent. We're sending him to New Hampshire, we're sending him to Iowa. He's going to be reporting on the primaries from those primary states beginning in January of 2024. I hope he has a really heavy coat. We've done some Iowa and some New Hampshire, and the genius has decided to put those elections in frozen tundras of America in January and February. Let's see if she gets some momentum, because they're enamored with this whole donor, you know, the whole establishment, donor class, loving- alright, so here's what I love, here's what I- Ron DeSantis, it doesn't seem, is catching on, Ron DeSantis isn't getting the traction that they thought he would get. My goodness, how much I would love Ron DeSantis saying, you know what, I'm all in for Donald Trump, I endorse Trump, and then maybe even a Trump DeSantis ticket, and then it becomes kind of Trump DeSantis versus the Nikki Haley globalist worldview, you know? A, we may get there anyway, if DeSantis- because I've said it 14 times a day, at some point there are only going to be two candidates left, one of them will be named Donald Trump, the other one will not. So who's that other one going to be? And the battle for that lane is full-on DeSantis and Haley, I think that's got to sort of play out naturally, nobody's going to bow out now ahead of time and gang up to beat- DeSantis or Haley will either be the last person standing, and then that will be the person, and it's a pretty important person, because other than Trump, and other than that Mrs. Lincoln, right? Other than Trump, who else matters the most? And that will be a kind of a natural Trump running mate, wouldn't it? If it is Haley, if it's DeSantis, I think Trump DeSantis, there's a way for that to work, please Lord and for everybody, just don't email the show, Trump would have to change his legal residence to New York, get it out of Mar-a-Lago, because- Takes five minutes, that's no big deal. Exactly, and he did it in 2000, but if Nikki Haley winds up being that other, that last person standing, because you remember 2016, it was Trump and Cruz, Indiana primary, first week of May, Trump beat Cruz, and finally it became obvious that it was going to be Trump. It was also obvious that Cruz was not going to be Trump's running mate. Is there something about a Trump-Haley ticket, because they have a sort of a different type of appeal? Perhaps, and she checks a lot of boxes, she's a female, she's a person of color, you know, I mean, and she's strong, she is, now listen, she's tough, she's a tough cookie, but I also wonder, and I'm breaking my own commandment here, I just don't want to criticize Republicans here, because I'm going to be- You're not criticizing, you're analyzing, get over that. But let me analyze this in a way that sounds negative, because it is a negative. So be it, it's okay, so be it. There is a perception that she's opportunistic, there's a perception that she is kind of- Yep, talk to South Carolinians. Well, but the South Carolinians who don't like her- Well, they don't like her for a reason. If there's a view she holds, like this stupid social media, everybody has to be verified thing, go after her for that. Opportunistic, she was the governor of an important state, she was UN ambassador, maybe this is her time. Let me make the case, let me make the argument, look at her, you gotta look at her track record, my friend, and you gotta talk to people who know her well.

"I kid you not. For the win with a capital W. His grandfather is Raul Armenta, part of the Chumash tribe and a member of the Santa Ynez band of Chumash Indians. Because dirty little secret, you know, who absolutely loves all the Kansas city chiefs trappings and imagery. And when the chiefs are rocking and rolling and they all do the, you know, who absolutely loves that Indians, native Americans, that community loves this because it's a celebration of their trappings, their culture, their history, the Redskins fans loved it, loved Atlanta Braves fans loved it. Cleveland Indians, George Floyd's ghost made us rename that team too. They loved it. So good for this kid. So what happens to the writer for Deadspin who did such a shameful thing? Does he, does he, is there any accountability? You know, we're, we're about accountability these days. You know, I know we talk a lot about cancel culture and all that, but there's gotta be accountability. Tommy Tuberville is so right to try to get the military out of the abortion business. And the, listen, the donor class, the establishment types, they are so angry at him. They're livid, Mark. You should hear the way they trash him. I know you do. And all he's saying is, first of all, you're breaking the law. This is the violation of the Hyde Amendment. The military should not be in the abortion business. He's standing firm. There's an accountability here, but you know what the donor, you know what the elites want? No accountability. Just promote the donor class. And then there's the donor class that went all in for Haley and is good. Any ABT, anybody but Trump because the donor class, God bless him for all the money they've made, but they don't have the spine. They don't have the armor. They don't have the will. They don't have the spirit for the fight that, that a Trump style candidate has. Well, I've been thinking a lot about, and I've been thinking about this Koch endorsement of Nikki Haley and Bob Vander Pla, all this stuff that's going on right now. And Nikki Haley's got some momentum. There's no way around it. And she's been great on Israel. She is, she is an establishment candidate in a way that both DeSantis and Trump are not. And there's a, there's a line of demarcation here that I think we got to draw between the Trump DeSantis vortex and Nikki Haley. She's globalist. She is absolute forever Wars. I'm sorry. She is. And, and talk to people in South Carolina about Nikki Haley, that you get kind of a different view of her from the worldview of the, of the donor class, but the donor class loves her. They are absolutely enamored with her. This is why if she gets momentum and she may, she may, I was going to be a real big test. New Hampshire, South Carolina, these early primary States, and incidentally we've got some great news to share. Here's what I, Rhonda Santas, it doesn't seem is get, is catching on Rhonda Santas isn't getting the traction that they thought he would get. She was UN ambassador. Maybe this is her time. Let me make the case. Let me make the argument. Look at her. You got to look at her track record, my friend, and you got to talk to people who know her well. There is a look and maybe it goes back to the Confederate battle flag controversy where she was absolutely going to defend it and she was going to support it. And then Charleston shooting happened and she caved and she completely flip flopped. There is a perception that she kind of twists in the wind. You know, I'm intrigued by the rage she exhibited towards Vivek Ramaswamy. Same thing is said about Vivek, that he is a tad opportunistic. He's a guy that looks for clicks and looks for attention and you know, maybe he has that same opportunistic streak. You know, wants to say what the people want to hear. You know that again, I could be... Has Vivek ever... because I think maybe it's the wrong adjective. That doesn't strike me as opportunistic. It strikes me as a moment of weakness because when she buckled on the Confederate imagery because of an event in the news, I mean, that was either right or wrong and people can feel either way about that. But if an event makes you change your mind, you know, if sprouting a gay kid makes you change your mind about gay marriage, you lost your focus. You lost your core values. Has Vivek ever done a 180 on something? Because I don't know. I think he has. No, I don't know that he has. I just wonder why she is so enraged at the guy and it makes me think that he reminds her of her.You know, it's almost like why... she went off the deep end. I mean, did you... you saw it, right? She called him scum. I know. And that was bad because even if... because there are going to be sharp elbows. There are going to be jerk moments, you know, in debates and Vivek can be a jerk sometimes because, you know, who else can? Trump. You know, who else can? A whole lot of other people. But it was that thing where it's like, hey, get your daughter off of TikTok. Maybe you ought to police up your own family. And that was stupid of Vivek and then he responded badly. I'm intrigued by your affection for Nikki Haley, boy, Mark Davis, globalist, ladies and gentlemen. Interesting. This is what you do. Interesting. Oh, no, no, no. I'm getting the text messages. Mark's got a thing for Nikki Haley, 800-655-MIKE. I will defend a weasel like Chris Christie against something that I think is unfair. I'm Joe Matthew in Washington, alongside Kaylee Lines, and this is Bloomberg Sound On, starting a bit late today. I guess it's the fastest hour in politics once again. Kaylee, it's great to see you. I could listen to him all day, whether you agree with him or not, he just has a way of kind of capturing you with the way he speaks. We covered a lot of ground there and was steeped in politics for a lot of the conversation as well. Yeah, a lot of fiscal questions. Of course, as we're having this funding debate here in Washington, Ken Griffin essentially saying that if you look at the market, it is telling us that we cannot run annual fiscal deficits in the magnitude that we're running. Then he went on to say that, look, we're in an election year, however, so it's very unlikely that fiscal policy is actually going to tighten because that's just politically really difficult. And of course, that's on the domestic side. He had a lot to say on geopolitics as well, Joe. That's for sure. We got into China, as you would expect. I was kind of taken by the Nikki Haley conversation. He sounds like he's warming up to the former governor of South Carolina, but we'll talk a lot more about it as we make our way through the day here on Bloomberg and through this hour with myself and Kaylee, because we've got news here, Kaylee, in just a couple of hours, there's going to be a vote on the house.

"Love you you're welcome the p ones you know i'm going with this my cannibalism theory of the left is very simple conservatives ignore these idiots now we will police racism where we see it because we believe in god -given rights but we've started to realize that the left doesn't mean whenever it the left cries racism it's a political fight it's not a moral they they know tarring people with that label has worked for them in the past it doesn't work anymore the left calls everyone their mother their dog their cat their hamster everybody's a racist to the left so we just give it up i mean we know it's not even serious anymore so the charge is now now jim you've been in radio three decades you and mike both i asked this a lot of you but you know know for a fact twenty thirty years ago if you were called a racist it was a big deal folks you could lose your job i mean it was a serious thing the democrats have so watered down this label and have called every bit no one buys it anymore so the cannibalism theories given that we're ignoring them they're going to start using it now that racist label because it works on their own people just not us they're going to start using it on their own people queue up for me if you would jim cut for here here is cnn doing a segment on dean phillips and i want you to listen and dean phillips at end the of this has the perfect comeback to this being called a racist because he's in new hampshire thing and it's how even though the guy's a democrat i never support democrats ever but he has the perfect comeback if recuse of the same thing check this out your exchange with them casey over uh... black voters and not not just black for his key coalitions in the democratic party was really talented yeah and you you know know and i'm i'm really into some really bad barrels here and when i learned when i learned about that because he's obviously gone back and forth with jim cliburn because cliburn supported this move to have the first primary go to south carolina he said it was disrespectful of black voters the way phillips is going about his campaign and and i think we should just note that trying to win a democratic combination without the help of some of these critical groups is i think next to impossible although i want to know you think let's how dean phillips answer this question first of all if he feels i've disrespected anybody i apologize but if it's because i was in new hampshire speaking with voters here that that was voters i take exception to that because when i'm in south carolina shortly visiting with black voters that is not disrespectful to muslim voters in michigan listen and dean ellips i don't know you you're a democrat i don't support democrats ever but ladies and there are learning moments to be found on social media and the internet everywhere that is actually how you

Ron DeSantis Weighs in on Nikki Haley's Gubernatorial Record

"Bring it up if she does bring it up she's very defensive about it what do you make of that well look mark at the end of the day are you somebody that's producing results or are you just in office to bide time and my view was I sat when I down at the desk in the state capitol when I first took office as governor I looked around the office said I don't know what SOB is going to succeed me but they're not going to have anything to do because I'm taking all the meat off the bone I'm I'm not gonna waste any time I'm gonna get all this stuff I promised done and I've done that everything I promised I would do I have delivered on and these are very consequential things as you mentioned I think somebody like Nikki she's Haley running away from her record as governor because her main task as governor she saw it was to recruit investment from the Chinese Communist Party into South China she was the number one ranked governor at bringing in China into her state when she was governor and she actually South Carolina gave away mill land to the CCP five miles away from a military base for them to do a business venture there and that was very consistent she went to China with the World Economic Forum back in the day she took other junkets there and this was something she wrote a love letter to the ambassador when she was governor saying what a great friend China was so that's just that's very consistent that was her world view that was what she did now she's trying to say she's a completely different person on all that and she's trying to trying to run away from it she's also never gotten involved in fight a and actually fought on behalf of conservatives and won me for example we've lot of done different things in Florida like protect girls and women from having boys and men go into their bathrooms and locker rooms when she was governor of South Carolina she killed a bill that was being proposed that would have provided those protections and so this is just a pattern with kind of how she does things doesn't stand up when it matters is basically catering to the more liberal Republican donor class. now this Republican donor class is interesting because I was watching one billionaire on TV And it was bizarre sometimes I wonder how these guys get to be billionaires But that's but just me governor anyway first he said he supported Trump then he supported then he supported Tim Scott now he's supporting Nikki Haley isn't that kind of bizarre I mean do these billionaire donors not all them but these these what is it it's the the flavor of the day or they all now all the ruling class corporatists are they now and I'm I'm yes this gonna suggest is the case the ruling class rhino corporatists are now betting on Nikki Haley a lot of them are no well I think there's a couple things one I think the fact that a guy like me I'm not just

A highlight from Meet Chicago Northwest with Mario Farfan

"Army veteran Mario Farfan is the account executive of meek Chicago Northwest an organization that is bringing Conferences and meetings to the northwest Chicago suburbs coming up next on veteran on the move Welcome to veteran on the move if you're a veteran in transition an entrepreneur wannabe or someone still stuck in that Jop trying to escape this podcast is dedicated to your success And now your host Joe crane Service isn't just what Navy Federal Credit Union does It's who they are That's why Navy Federal created tools to help you earn and save more learn more at Navy federal org slash join Hey today, we're talking with army veteran Mario Farfan from meek Chicago Northwest Mario welcome to the show We're looking forward to hearing which good things you're doing up there in Chicagoland So before we talk about all that takes back to us what you did in the army Yeah, absolutely. Thank you, Joe. Thank you for inviting me here today Excited to be on your podcast to share my story a little bit So, uh, well, I joined our military right at the high school literally after the graduation party the next day I was in the car with the with the recruiter Headed to all the preparation and in the other paperwork administrative stuff. So that was 19 night August 1994 I ride the South Carolina for Jackson for basic training Awesome, and you're looking through your bio your parents were Guatemalan immigrants, right? Yes. Yes, they were going from Guatemala to Chicago I came here after a long wait a wait time back in the 70s and They started their their journey in Chicago in Chicago the west side of Chicago actually humble park And that's where I was born But then they ended up moving closer to the north side And I speak in street corners because I'm from that era in Chicago is something about Chicago I know you I know you from Kansas City you mentioned as we talked earlier So we grew up on Winnipeg and Broadway, which is essentially the north side. They call it Edgewater now Back in the in the early 80s a very different area there that it is now a lot of Cambodian and Vietnamese refugees And immigrants that came after the Vietnam War. I did not know this Obviously as I got older I went back and there's a digging around how I grew up Why was there so many, you know different ethnicities? So I yes, I grew up in Chicago border ways in Chicago, correct? Yes, and so Tell us a little bit about some of the things you did while you're in the army Yeah, so I was I chose my MLS was 94 Bravo back then I think it's changed 92 golf now, which is a cook essentially my thinking a 17 year old person getting Advice from many different people that weren't an army They were like Mario choose a job that it's gonna you know, not be too strenuous or dangerous So you're not gonna so I wasn't gonna be an infantry or Airborne Ranger. I knew that right away So I decided that you know, and I was interested in cooking my mother She you know love to cook so I said to myself it would be something interesting to venture in So I was a I was a cook in the military Definitely had a lot of friends because we were out in the field You know, we had the nice kitchen trailer set up with hot coffee and grill and all my military friends had to eat those MRE So they were like, hey Mario, you know, hook me up with something hot stuff like that So I definitely gained a lot of friends which was pretty cool because I started doing networking back then. I just didn't know it Yeah, great experience. So talk about your transition out of the army. Was it something you're expecting to come on quick? Were you prepared unprepared? I would say I was policy. I'm prepared to be honest So I got out on night 99. I was in Germany my last stop At the time so it was more of a pressure to stay in. That's what I remember the most It was a lot of fear a lot of you know, high pressure to stay in like what are you gonna do? So then life is not great You know stay here, you know, you can retire which I know many people do I know many people Friends that I have still they retired in Germany. They ended up just living to staying there, but my family at the time Was going through a struggle financially and I felt like I need to come home and just be back with them and support them as much as I could so I They gave me my paperwork and I was on my own. Basically. I got back to Chicago, which is very difficult right because Chicago Back, this is like 1999 2000. So just trying to you know, figure all of it out It's a lot right because it's benefits. There's paperwork. There's things that we just don't know about and I'll be honest the last Ten twenty years. I'm learning more and more, right? I Know too recently. There's just many benefits of veterans have that. We just don't know about especially when it comes to entrepreneur small business Something that I want to mention in in 2015 I started a Hispanic chamber out here in the suburbs and part of that was just thinking about how to look out for you know Hispanic business owners So now I'm thinking about better veteran business owners because I do run into them Hispanic or non -hispanic and they talk to me and say you know what? We we need better resources for our for our veteran business owners that are either starting a business On the middle of their business or just trying to figure out how to take their business to the next level So I'm always thinking about that. I'm always thinking about that. I am I am on me Chicago Northwest. That's my full -time job So so that that I'm able to incorporate it because I am I still continue to meet People from from that walk of life and as a veteran myself, I didn't have my own business, right? But If I had that information, who knows right 20 years ago Whatever 24 years ago who knows what would have happened to me when I came back, but I did what most veterans do I enrolled in college right away. It just tried to get out there in civilian life I began a 20 20 year career in banking. That's what I ended up doing so But so yes, I was a banker Assistant manager branch manager for 15 years and a regional manager up to a business banker So I did all facets of banking retail banking when it comes to helping small businesses and that's where I end in my career and and And then I decided to take a another a different Turn in my career into the what I'm doing now with me Chicago Northwest is you know working with us so still working with businesses right because associations nonprofits Diversity clubs sports clubs. Those are all businesses, right? So now all we do now in Chicago, Northwest we talk to them We we bring we try to invite them nationally, right or even internationally to the Northwest suburbs They come out and see what we have to offer so they can have the conferences the conventions or their meetings here. So That was a long answer. I know Back to what you said if I just one of five my transition If I had to rate it, I'll probably give it a one or two. It was it was it wasn't it was not great Yeah, it was not great. So sounds like you ultimately landed Well now I don't I'm not real familiar with the Chicago suburbs But is the Northwest Chicago suburbs primarily Hispanic or have a heavily Hispanic influence or I know she says something about you were targeting more Hispanic Since you're probably fluent in Spanish targeting the Spanish business network Yeah, great question so Chicago in itself state of Illinois itself has a large Hispanic population in itself city Chicago obviously is the largest city which is a heavy heavy Hispanic presence in the suburbs is starting to change, right? You have also an Asian presence Middle Eastern Indian presence, so it's starting to change very very a lot of Backgrounds and cultures Polish as well are out here in the suburbs It's all a mix but I would say definitely in the last 10 20 years the suburbs people have migrated Either to work out here in the suburbs to live out here go to school out here Public schools is a challenge, right? I I went to public schools. So hey, I made it I mean, I made it but it's not it's not easy Joe. I'll tell you that especially when I grew up in the 80s was definitely not easy, but So the answer to that would be yeah Yes, the the suburbs are being more diverse across not just Hispanic so the reason I started the Hispanic Chamber Joe because there's this Hispanic chamber in the city downtown on most people that live in the suburbs don't want to travel You know, it could be an hour for traffic an hour into the city just to go get resources and help So I figured why not have something here for them where they can go and get resources Find out about grants or how to start a business or get the paperwork in order So that's kind of how why I started to need I need that I saw in the suburbs in the middle Which wasn't there awesome? A highlight from Mike Gallagher Week in Review for Friday, November 3, 2023

"United States Border Patrol has exciting and rewarding career opportunities with the nation's largest law enforcement organization. Earn great pay, outstanding federal benefits, and up to $20 ,000 in recruitment incentives. Learn more online at CBP .gov slash career slash USBP. Welcome into The Mike Gallagher Show week in review podcast. Great to have you here. It is Friday, November the third. It's another week chock full of breaking news. Let's begin with this shocker. Over a hundred college professors at Columbia University in New York City signing a letter in support of pro -hamas protesters on campus. The anti -semitism we're seeing in the streets of America, particularly on college campuses, is astounding and we tackled it this week front and center. Over a hundred Columbia University professors signed a letter yesterday defending students who support Hamas. Can you imagine a college professor supporting monsters who put babies in ovens and and cooked them alive? Can you imagine over a hundred Columbia University professors, Ivy League staffers writing a letter supporting the students who defend Hamas? You'd send your kid to college at Columbia, you'd be out of your mind. You would be out of your mind. If you've got a son or daughter who wants to go get some hugely successful career and they think Columbia University is the path to take, you'd be nuts to let your kid go to Columbia, much less pay for it. And donors, you would donate to Columbia University? Over a hundred professors defending students who are supporting bloodthirsty animalistic terrorists. They put babies in ovens. They raped women and broke their legs before murdering them. They chopped soldiers' heads off. They chopped babies' heads off. And these moron professors, and they are morons, they are ignorant fools, wrote a letter demanding for support the moron students defending terrorism. Meanwhile, the House of Representatives has a brand new speaker. He's Representative Mike Johnson, a Republican from Louisiana. Democrats are none too happy about this guy. In fact, they are literally denouncing his Bible -believing Christianity. Wait till you hear what MSNBC personality and former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki had to say about Mike Johnson's religious beliefs. Does the Bible inform your worldview? The new Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, a little -known congressman from Louisiana, has had the audacity to admit that for him the Bible informs his worldview. Jen Psaki was the White House Press Secretary. She now has her own show on MSNBC, and she is undoubtedly very popular among the left. I want you to hear Jen Psaki expressing her shock and disgust and mortification at the newly elected Speaker of the House, admitting that he's a Bible -believing Christian. So let's take a few minutes to talk about this new speaker. First glance, Mike Johnson does seem fine, fine -ish. Conservative, yes, but he once started a civility caucus with a Democrat. And I mean, if nothing else, he wears a suit and has glasses. How threatening can this guy actually be? Well, he gave us all a little clue as to how he would govern in an interview this week. I am a Bible -believing Christian. Someone asked me today in the media, they said, it's curious. People are curious. What does Mike Johnson think about any issue under the sun? I said, well, go pick up a Bible off your shelf and read it. That's, that's my worldview. You heard that right. The Bible doesn't just inform his worldview. It is his worldview. In fact, during his first speech in his new job, Johnson suggested that his election as speaker was an act of God. Talk about a bit of a humble brag there. So what exactly has God apparently called on Mike Johnson to do? Well, his views on policy are essentially what you'd expect from a religious fundamentalist. They're more divisive than they are divine. She's threatened. They're threatened by a religious fundamentalist like Mike Johnson. And you heard what she, the way she described it. It's threatening. We should be scared because he's a Christian. Now you just heard that, right? I mean, I'm not hallucinating, right? I just played a clip from MSNBC and she's got some MSNBC bona fides. She was the White House press secretary. She's no slouch in terms of elocution. She knows what she's saying. She forms the word. She's reading those words on a teleprompter. Let me again repeat what Jen Psaki just told her national audience. We should be scared of Mike Johnson because he's a Christian. Let that sink in. This is the Mike Gallagher Show Week in Review podcast. I hope you'll subscribe. Don't miss any of the great content that we produce every single day. If you missed anything, you'll catch up with us. The Israeli consulate in New York City invited the media to a special event. They shared firsthand evidence of the brutality of Hamas in Israel. This is very difficult to hear, but we can't turn away. We must be aware of what actually happened on October 7th in Israel. Kelly Jane Torrance writes about it. None of us wanted to see such sites, this person writes, but none of us would give up the opportunity. The world needs to know what happened. Journalists, about 20 of us had to leave our cell phones and Apple watches at the door. Some of the footage had never been released and Israeli authorities had their reasons for showing it only to select reporters and some select others like Joe Biden. They're concerned about the feelings of the families involved. They also don't want such horror and humiliation broadcast worldwide. One retired major general and reservist, Mickey Edelstein said, we have values. This reporter said, human beings still have the capacity to shock if one can call Hamas human beings. I will long be haunted by what I saw. The footage eases you into things, she writes, a little. Terrorists fire at motorists on the highway. They enter a kibbutz and blow an ambulance's tires first. They shoot a dog who reminds, who remains shaking on the street. They light a home on fire. Then, then they start entering the houses. Israel collected video from a wide variety of sources, public closed circuit TV, traffic cameras, dash cams of terrorists and of victims, as well as their social media posts and messages at home. You can hear the murderers breathe heavily as they nervously approach their prey. It was almost impossible to watch the council general admitted afterward. He couldn't even stay for the whole screening. A father tries to get his young children dressed only in underpants safely to a backyard shelter. A grenade lands before he can close the door. He's dead. A terrorist takes the two boys back into the house. The security camera captures their devastation. The blast blinded one boy in an eye, the other falls to the ground, plaintively pleading, why am I alive? Why am I alive? Blood is everywhere. A man with his nose blown off, headless Israeli soldiers, an elderly woman clad only in her brightly colored underwear, never meant to be seen by so many. Piles of bodies surrounded by young men, celebrating, chanting Aluakbar. A broken woman is taken from the back of a Jeep, the rear of her pants covered in blood. We can easily understand what likely happened to her. Young men clamor over trying to get a look inside. Women who were raped had their legs broken, then they were killed. So they were raped, they had their legs broken, and then they were murdered. Many times Kelly Jane Torrance writes, I wanted to look away, but I forced myself not to. We journalists had to see so what happened we could tell the world. Yet here is a line from a CBS news piece written by a journalist who saw the footage, quote, in another clip, a militant stands over a man who appears to have been shot in the gut and hacks at him multiple times with a garden hoe. Interestingly, the words terrorist or terrorism don't appear in this piece. They don't appear in the New York Times report of that screening either. I can tell you it was not a militant who stands over a man. A group of terrorists argue over who gets to behead the man. A Thai worker bleeding profusely from his stomach but still alive. Someone hacks at him repeatedly with a hoe trying to behead him. Every single time the terrorist yells Alua Akbar. That difference in detail is why the consulate staff sat through 45 minutes of misery. They need people to see what happened. Sure, dead babies were found without their heads, but who knows who did the deed, according to journalists from serious publications, supposedly publications. serious She says, the hate I witnessed goes beyond those who entered Israel. A young man uses a dead Israeli woman's phone to call his parents and brag of killing 10 Jews, quote, with my bare hands. He pleads to his father, please be proud of me, dad. That's the culture Israel must fight. Then there's New York City. A day after the screening of this video, thousands of anti -Semites marched into Manhattan via the Brooklyn Bridge after a rally at the Brooklyn Museum. At the front were people holding a banner that read, by any means necessary. This journalist who saw these atrocities committed by these monsters, these savages called Hamas, writes, understand what a sign like that means. These people know what happened October 7th. They're gathering in large numbers in New York and cities around the world, including America, to show their support for the animals who committed these atrocities. They are as bloodthirsty as the heavy breathing terrorists whose voices the people of Israel will never get out of their heads. And that's so important. You must know what pro -Hamas demonstrators are. On the pop culture front, actor Matthew Perry, best known for his role on the sitcom series Friends, passed away at the age of 54. He was found in his hot tub in his Los Angeles home, apparently drowned. A very interesting conversation resulted in vaccines with the shocking death of Matthew Perry. 54 years old, he was one of the stars of Friends. He was found dead in his jacuzzi at his Los Angeles home. And right away, people started rushing in saying he was a big pro -vaccination guy. The anti -vaxxers, as they're known, went bonkers, saying, how does a 54 -year -old guy who was allegedly clean and sober, he had had a lifetime of trouble with drugs and alcohol, apparently, rough life, he had gotten his act together, he wrote a memoir last year, and he was lounging in his jacuzzi, and he died. And so far, the police say, no sign of foul play. There were some prescription drugs found, but no illegal drugs or illicit drugs. And this guy was part of the culture and one of the most successful sitcom actors of all time, and one of the most successful sitcoms of all time, Friends. And apparently, he had his personal assistant go out to run some errands. The assistant came back after a couple hours and found this guy dead in the jacuzzi in the backyard of the pool. A lot of people were tweeting and writing on social media. This is not a conspiracy theory. People are suddenly dying. People are having heart attacks. And they pointed out that Matthew Perry had tweeted out like a year ago, could I be any more vaccinated? Get your shot and then get your shirt. Shop the entire collection. And it was a collection of t -shirts bragging about getting vaccinated. And people were tweeting out things like, do you believe Matthew Perry died from heart issues in his jacuzzi that were caused by him getting so many COVID vaccines? Again, he once promoted a t -shirt that said, could I be any more vaccinated? Well, you know, I know we don't want to open up that whole can of worms again. On the other hand, did you see the story about the new analysis by the FDA, the Food and Drug Administration, said that there may be an increase in the risk of stroke when you get a COVID shot on the same day as when you get certain flu vaccines. A new analysis found the link was clearest in adults over 85. It applied to the Pfizer and Moderna COVID booster vaccines. The FDA said the risk might stem from the flu vaccine alone and be completely unrelated to the COVID shots. I think it's fair to say, and I just want to start right here and say, whether we like it or not, most Americans, I think, and I want you to correct me if you think I've got this wrong, most Americans have a deep distrust over just about any vaccine. There was a horrific incidence of violence this week in New York City. It erupted after an argument between neighbors of a New York City apartment building. It was all captured on closed circuit surveillance video. Maybe you've seen the ghastly video of a neighbor in an apartment building who executed a father and his stepson over a dispute regarding noise. It was all captured on closed circuit surveillance video. It's awful. I don't want to play it. I mean, this guy came with a gun ready to confront this family. There had apparently been a history of arguing between these two tenants of the apartment building, I think it was in Brooklyn, and the family comes out to confront the guy. He's wearing a jacket. He's dressed all in black. And the closed circuit surveillance cameras are just crystal clear. One thing about this closed circuit TVs now, the video quality is as good as anything you see on a TV network. You can get these ring cameras and everything, and they're a real good deterrent, I think, for criminals, because they work well. I've got a whole set of them at a property that I own, and you can see everything. It records automatically. If there's movement, you can set all kinds of settings. Anyway, they had a closed circuit camera in the hallway of this apartment building. This guy's waiting. He's pacing. They're arguing. The dad comes out, and he's very threatening. He's apparently a bodybuilder. The father was this big, hulking, you know, muscular, tall guy. And he storms out with a pair of scissors in his hand, and they're arguing about the noise. And according to news reports, you know what the noise was? The family that the other guy was objecting to, they lived above this guy, and they didn't have carpeting on the floor. So whenever they walked, they were walking on wood floors, and it made a lot of noise, and it just aggravated the guy down below. So the guy down below shows up. He's in the hallway. He's got a jacket on. They're arguing. The family's arguing. The big, you know, bodybuilder is towering over the guy with a pair of scissors. Well, the shorter guy that came up to complain, he pulls out a gun, a handgun. The father immediately retreats. Doesn't matter. This guy starts blasting away. He shoots the dad multiple times. It's all caught on camera. The son, the stepson, tries to get away. He executes the stepson, pumps him full of bullets, and then he goes over to the dad, who's trying to get up. He's fallen by the door and puts a couple more bullets in his head for good measure. I mean, it was a stone cold execution. And there was a big debate on social media about whether or not it was self -defense or not. Well, of course it wasn't self -defense. He executed them. He's arguing with them about noise in an apartment. Now a family is shattered. And the breaking news, the reason I'm telling you this whole story is there is some news. They got the guy. Police shot him at a traffic stop moments ago in Brooklyn. The 47 -year -old suspect, Jason Pass, was in a car when police got a hit on his license plate. They performed a traffic stop, at which point the situation took a violent turn. He charged at the cops with a knife. They shot him. He's been rushed to an area hospital in critical condition. So everybody's lives are... And there's a moral to the story here. And the reason I think it's important to talk about it is more and more people are arming themselves. It's inevitable. Look at the world around us. Listen, I'm starting up the process again here in Florida. Years ago, I got a concealed carry permit course that I took in South Carolina. But you know, it's been years. I was living in New York City. You sure aren't supposed to have a gun in New York. And now that I'm a Florida resident, I'm going to be armed. You were there with Mike Lindell through thick and through thin. You appreciate that Mike has been targeted and they've tried to stop him. A highlight from More Americans are Protecting Themselves

"This is your source for breaking news and what to make of it all. This is the Mike Gallagher Show. The father has eye gouged out before they were executed and then their executioner sat down and had a meal and no nation could tolerate that. Look this is a matter of good versus evil. I think this is kind of a new sickness that we're seeing in these college campuses. They're finding out that you know what actually the guy with the mean tweets was not that bad if it means we don't have a war in Ukraine, we don't have a war in the Middle East, we don't have you know an open border. Now from the ReliefFactor .com studios here's Mike Gallagher. There's some breaking news out of New York City. Maybe you've seen the ghastly video of a neighbor in an apartment building who executed a father and his stepson over a dispute regarding noise. It was all captured on closed circuit surveillance video. It's awful. I don't want to play it. If you're watching on Salem News Channel maybe we can send the video out if you like that you know or appreciate that kind of gore. It's awful. I mean this guy came with a gun ready to confront this family. There had apparently been a history of arguing between these two tenants of the apartment building. I think it was in Brooklyn and the family comes out to confront the guy. He's wearing a jacket. He's dressed all in black and the closed circuit surveillance cameras are just crystal clear. One thing about this closed circuit TVs now, I mean the video quality is as good as anything you see on a TV network. I mean you can get these ring cameras and everything and they're a real good deterrent I think for criminals because they work well. I've got a whole set of them at a property that I own and you can see everything and it automatically. records If there's movement, you can set all kinds of settings. Anyway, they had a closed circuit camera in the hallway of this apartment building. This guy is waiting. He's pacing. They're arguing. The dad comes out and he's very threatening. He's apparently a bodybuilder. The father was this big, hulking, muscular, tall guy. He storms out with a pair of scissors in his hand and they're arguing about the noise. According to news reports, you know what the noise was? The family that the other guy was objecting to, they lived above this guy and they didn't have carpeting on the floor. Whenever they walked, they were walking on wood floors and it made a lot of noise and it just aggravated the guy down below. The guy down below shows up. He's in the hallway. He's got a jacket on. They're arguing. The family is arguing. The big bodybuilder is towering over the guy with a pair of scissors. Well, the shorter guy that came up to complain, he pulls out a gun, a handgun. The father immediately retreats. It doesn't matter. This guy starts blasting away. He shoots the dad multiple times. It's all caught on camera. The son, the stepson, tries to get away. He executes the stepson, pumps him full of bullets, and then he goes over to the dad who's trying to get up. He's fallen by the door and puts a couple more bullets in his head for good measure. I mean, it was a stone cold execution and there was a big debate on social media about whether or not it was self -defense or not. Well, of course it wasn't self -defense. He executed them. He's arguing with them about noise in an apartment. Now the family is shattered and the breaking news, the reason I'm telling you this whole story is there is some news. They got the guy. Police shot him at a traffic stop moments ago in Brooklyn. The 47 -year -old suspect, Jason Pass, was in a car when police got a hit on his license plate. They performed a traffic stop at which point the situation took a violent turn. He charged at the cops with a knife. They shot him. He's been rushed to an area hospital in critical condition. So everybody's lives are – and there's a moral to the story here. The reason I think it's important to talk about it is more and more people are arming themselves. It's inevitable. Look at the world around us. Listen, I'm starting up the process again here in Florida. Years ago, I got a concealed carry permit course that I took in South Carolina. But you know, it's been years. I was living in New York City. You sure aren't supposed to have a gun in New York. And now that I'm a Florida resident, I'm going to be armed and I'm going to take a course and I'm going to be prepared for whatever might come my way. But if you're going to be a gun owner, you got to be responsible. That doesn't mean it's the – you know, you should be in a shootout at the OK Corral. That doesn't mean you should sit around and execute a father and his son because you're arguing about noise in the apartment building. And if you execute somebody, you're going to go to jail forever as you should, I hope. I don't know. But that's the concern and I'm not oblivious to the fears that people who don't like guns and don't approve of the Second Amendment always have. They figure as people get armed and more and more people start carrying, there will be more incidents like this. And you know what I have to say to that? It's an awful thing to have to admit, but it's true. There will be irresponsible, negligent morons who are going to misuse their firearm. And you know, that unfortunately is part of the price we pay for a polite armed society. There are going to be people who abuse it. This guy clearly abused it. This guy needs to be – if he survives, the police shooting should spend the rest of his life in jail. It was a cold -blooded killing and he slaughtered two people over a stupid dispute. But again, ultimately, that's not going to prevent people, I don't think. Maybe it will. Maybe you will think twice about arming yourself. More and more Americans are purchasing firearms. More and more people are realizing if you don't protect yourself, no one will. More and more people are coming to the realization that they need to protect themselves. So make sure you're protected. Make sure you're armed if you so choose. And if you choose not to be armed, I don't mean to be a jerk here, but good luck. If you choose not to protect yourself, you're pretty much on your own. And with witnessing what we're witnessing in the country and all the evil we are seeing, how is it a leap to say after what they've been doing to the Jews that us Christians are next? And I would argue we already are. We're already on the chopping block. Already they're mocking the new house speaker, Mike Johnson, because he's apparently very religious. And Lord knows, nothing infuriates the left more than a religious Christian. And they hate Mike. They're going after Mike Johnson, the new speaker. Oh, he's going to cause the Republicans to lose the house. Everybody's going to turn against Republicans now because they have a Bible -believing Christian as the speaker of the house. I mean, that's absolutely what they're saying right now. So the same hatred that we're seeing exhibited towards Jews is going to be directed toward Christians. A lot of text messages coming in, including this one from Philly, situations like the one you just described in Brooklyn make me want to be armed even more. It's not a deterrent at all. I mean, watching people—I told you the story of that punk in Houston who was going up from behind people and slugging them as hard as he could. It makes me want to be armed more. And I'm not alone. I guarantee you, more and more Americans are saying, time for me to be protected. Welcome aboard. It's the first of November. We're in the Relief Factor studios. I hope you jump aboard and join us. The PhD weight loss and nutrition phone number is 800 -655 -MIKE. We have an open line for you. Are you considering getting armed when you look at the world around you? Has the Hamas terrorist attack against the Jews and all the anti -Semitism we're seeing in America caused you to consider becoming armed and making sure you're carrying a weapon, making sure you have a firearm or more, firearms in your home? Or do you think that's a mistake? Do you think it'll turn into a bloodbath? Unnecessary. 1 -800 -655 -MIKE, 16 past the hour. I hope you join me. Again, one open phone line. Let's put your voice front and center. Join me on this caller -driven Mike Gallagher Show, 800 -655 -6453.

"Lots of channels. Nothing to watch. Especially if you're searching for the truth. It's time to interrupt your regularly scheduled programs with something actually worth watching. Salem News Channel. Straightforward, unfiltered, with in -depth insight and analysis from the greatest collection of conservative minds. Like Hugh Hewitt, Mike Gallagher, Sebastian Gorka, and more. Find truth. Watch 24 -7 on SNC .TV and on Local Now, Channel 525. The Mike Gallagher Show. For what purpose does a gentleman from Louisiana seek recognition? Mr. Speaker. That is a nice ring to it, by the way. Mr. Speaker, I offer a privileged resolution to notify the Senate of the election of Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House of Representatives and ask for its immediate consideration. In the ReliefFactor .com studios, here's Mike. I saw a TV commercial last night. Remember that kid on that funny TV show, was it Malcolm in the Middle? Wasn't his name Frankie something? Isn't Frankie Muniz or Muniz? And he's doing a commercial for Hair Club for Men. He's like a race car driver now. I guess he races cars. And I just saw about 15 seconds of it. And evidently, he's a Hair Club for Men. You know, of all the things I'm trying to get my life together in my 60s, I've lost a bunch of weight. I'm trying to work out every day. I'm on the bike. I'm doing my thing. I'm not an attractive person. I don't claim to be. If you watch me on Sale & News Channel, you can confirm. I'm not really a very handsome guy. I don't think I would ever be mistaken for a model. But I would love to lose the bald spot. I hate the bald spot. Years ago, I was going up the stairs and Bonnie Simmons was a secretary, was an assistant in our Salem, Dallas offices. And she was up on the balcony. She looked down at me and she said, look at that. She was British. Look at that bald spot. You look like Friar Tuck. And then I insulted her very badly because I was hurt. I would love to get rid of the bald spot. I don't think you can get rid of a bald spot. You can work on thinning hair. I don't think the bald spot, I don't think there's much they can do back there. But I wonder if, I mean, plugs and all that, that would be rough. Is that what Hair Club is? Or hair growth? Tracy, see if you can find out what Frankie is doing. And I appreciate the text message I just got from Minnesota. I listen to you on the radio and you sound like a handsome devil. That's true. On radio, I'm very handsome. On TV, I'm just a schlubby looking guy. You know who I look like? I don't know why I'm in such a good mood. You know who I look like in person and this is not something to brag about? The late, great Mel Torme. Now, he was amazing. He was a great talent, right? Wrote, you know, chestnuts, roasting, but he looked kind of like a frog. And that's who I look like. If you don't believe me, Google Mel Torme and then look at a picture of me and embarrassingly, that's who I most look like. That's the celebrity I look the most like, Mel Torme. But anyway, if I could get rid of this bald spot somehow, maybe I could – I'm not going to wear a toupee, never going to dye my hair, a lot of gray, getting old and not for sissies. Hey, being in the good mood I'm in, I'm going to go out on a limb and I'm going to say something that's probably going to get me in trouble, particularly with Ron DeSantis supporters. But I'm going to say it anyway. I think Nikki Haley is going to surpass Ron DeSantis. I think Governor Nikki Haley is the one to watch. She is surging. She's now ahead of DeSantis in New Hampshire. She's now tied for second with DeSantis in Iowa. I think Nikki Haley is carving out a lane that might just give her the path to second place. Now, I don't know that anybody is going to overtake President Trump. But then again, you never know what's going to happen with anything. You never know what's going to happen with anybody or anything. And Nikki Haley, The Daily Beast, Matt Lewis over The Daily Beast had an analysis. Here's why Nikki Haley is gaining in the polls and Ron DeSantis is not. She's now tied with DeSantis for second in Iowa according to a new Des Moines Register NBC News MediaCom Iowa poll. More importantly, the trend lines show DeSantis down three points and Haley up 10 points since August. What's more, Haley has already surpassed DeSantis in New Hampshire. She's now in second place in the first in the nation primary. She is emerging as the alternative to Donald Trump, at least in part because she's more likable than DeSantis. Now, that's according to The Daily Beast. I don't know, is she more likable than – frankly, the emerging narrative is that anybody is more likable than Ron DeSantis. I don't think of Ron DeSantis as likable or unlikable. He's kind of a policy guy. He's smart. He's effective. He's accomplished. He's really – he's good. There's nothing wrong with Ron DeSantis except he's not Donald Trump. But a lot of people are convinced that Ron DeSantis is still the alternative. I don't know. I don't know the answer to this. I don't know. But The Daily Beast's Matt Lewis writes that Nikki Haley has not made the mistake that Ron DeSantis made. He asserts that Ron DeSantis chose a lane that was already taken. Instead of assembling a coalition of Reagan conservatives who never liked Trump and former Trumpers who are ready to move on, Ron DeSantis chose to ignore or offend the former and focus on attracting current Trumpers who have no interest in quitting the Donald. She chose a lane that went after Trump pretty rigidly. She criticized Trump for adding $8 trillion to our debt. She called him the most disliked politician in America. And Matt Lewis' analysis is her strategy worked. As recently as this spring, Ron DeSantis looked like the best positioned Republican to take on Trump. Haley seemed as unlikely to catch fire as Mike Pence who, as we know, dropped out of the race this past weekend. Today, he writes, Haley is the one to watch while Ron DeSantis' star seems to be fading. Do you agree with that? Now, the team gave me a clip that went viral. Ron DeSantis went on a very popular podcast with a guy named Patrick Bet -David, this PBD podcast. And it's getting a lot of traction. It's a very popular podcast. I hear a lot of people say that they're engaging in this podcast that this guy does. And it's one of those teams, I don't know, it's called the PBD podcast. And the guy's name is Patrick Bet -David. And people took this clip and ran with it and said, this Patrick Bet -David has single -handedly ended Ron DeSantis' candidacy. Now, that's hyperbolic and that's exaggeration to be sure. But it is fair to, and I was wondering about this. I really debated this. Driving into work this morning, I thought, should I play this clip or not? I don't want to embarrass Ron DeSantis. I don't want to attack him. I'm not anti -DeSantis. I'm not anti -Republican. We desperately need to defeat the Democrats in 2024. I'm convinced the Democrat we're going to have to beat is Gavin Newsom. Incidentally, did you see Newsom over in China? What the heck's the California governor doing kissing up to Xi in China? Well, he wants to run for president. He thinks he's going to be the Democrat nominee. And I believe he very well could be. Now, I'm going to play this clip for you against my better judgment. Tracy's convincing me we should play it just so people can hear what people are talking about on social media. DeSantis is terribly embarrassed, I'm sure, by this. And he is very rigid in controlling his media interviews. Trust me, I've got some personal experience in that field. Here's Governor DeSantis on this very popular podcast that has already been viewed now millions and millions of times. DeSantis wears cowboy boots a lot. And his critics make fun of his penchant for cowboy boots. And they suggest that the reason he's wearing boots is that he's got lifts in them because he's short. So this guy, this Patrick Bet -David goes right at him on the issue of cowboy boots. Again, not a very comfortable place for Governor DeSantis to be. I thought I'd share it with you anyway. I know you were on, what do you call it? What was it? Bill Maher. And Bill Maher talked about the boots. I've seen you walk with these boots. Go ahead and play this clip. This on TikTok went viral. It doesn't have a million views. It doesn't have, you know, 10 million views. This thing's got 1 .2 million likes. And some people are wondering... They've not shown this to you. Okay, what they're trying to say with this is that in your boots, you have heels. No, no, no. Those are just standard off the rack, Lucchese. How tall are you Governor? 5 '11. Okay. Why don't you wear tennis shoes and dress shoes? I do wear tennis shoes when I work out. Okay, I got a gift for you. I'd love for you to wear, okay, I shop at Ferragamo. I don't accept gifts. I can't accept it. I'm sorry. I mean, it was just a really awkward, cringey moment. Governor DeSantis has a look on his face like, how did I get myself in this position? And it probably didn't do him any favors to go on the PBD podcast because that guy clearly just wanted to embarrass Ron DeSantis. And I just keep wondering about people like Trump. I don't know that Trump would ever put himself in that position. He'd go right back at the guy and attack him. That's not who DeSantis is. DeSantis is a very serious guy. And I suppose the narrative that has emerged is that Governor DeSantis isn't particularly likable. And if you believe this Daily Beast analysis by Matt Davis, Nikki Haley is. She is more likable. Now, a lot of text messages coming in already on the MyPillow text line and I want to open up our phone lines. The PHD weight loss phone number is 800 -655 -MIKE. And I want you to give me your thoughts about Nikki Haley getting the momentum she's getting. Do you agree with me that she's the one to watch right now? Here's a text from Maryland. Mike, I hope you and your audience does a deep dive into this before anyone dares to support Nikki Haley. The last thing we need is another globalist in the White House. South Carolina from the Upstate. Mike, the problem with Ron DeSantis is his establishment Republican donors and their endorsement. And finally, from Florida, from Orlando, Nikki Haley wants to bring Palestinians here. She's a neocon supreme. She comes off as bitchy, too. Bitchy. Hmm. Does she? What do you think? 800 -655 -MIKE. That last debate, I mean, she got real shrill. She went nuts on Vivek Ramaswamy. And I thought, if anybody thinks she's likable, think again. But again, I hate to criticize her. She might be the nominee. Let's find out. 1 -800 -655 -MIKE. Give me your take on Nikki Haley surging and on Ron DeSantis fading. Is she the one to watch? What Did Nikki Haley Do as Governor?

"At Disney. She offered to take action to South Carolina. She undermined him completely. She seems to forget she was the ambassador United to Nations the under Donald Trump. The policies she espoused about Israel were his policies, not her policies. She may agree with them, but she wasn't president. And what you do as an ambassador to the UN is you give speeches. And that's okay. We had a great ambassador to the UN when I worked in the Reagan administration, Jean Kirkpatrick. Now she could give a speech. So I'm not diminishing her speeches. But in terms of policy, that was the Trump policy. Haley And just trashes Trump all the time. She even goes so far as to say that she doesn't think he'd be as pro -Israel as he may have been or may have been perceived. That's a shot below the belt, don't you think, America? Disturbing Acts of Anti-Semitic Hate Unfold in NYC

"News NYC, which is an account that I follow, posted a video, looks like a young woman and a young man. And the caption, some place in NYC, another two who ripped down posters of kids who were either killed or taken hostage by Hamas terrorists. She called the guy a dog while she's ripping down the posters. And I'm going to tell you something. One of the comments came from somebody who wrote, many of us never thought we'd see such overt evil on our own doorstep. And I'm having a hard time disagreeing with that. I think that's about right. Did you ever expect to see such open, transparent hatred on our doorstep? This is not in Tel Aviv. This is not happening in Lebanon. This is happening in New York, in LA. In Texas, in Washington State, in South Carolina, and it's happening in America. First of all, can someone explain to me why people want to tear those flyers down?

A highlight from Tom Emmer Pro-Crypto Vote Tomorrow! | DO THIS NOW!

"All right, so the speaker battle is heating up right now, and what looks and appears as though maybe Tom Emmer is going to be at the front of the pile. We'll see how all this plays out because we're going to get a vote tomorrow. We'll break that down, but give you guys some insights why this could be good for crypto. My name is Paul Baron. Welcome back into Tech Path. I want to get us started today, but I do want to thank our sponsor, and that is Tangem. If you're looking at going into self -custody, this is, I think, one of the best platforms out there for self -custody. It's a card platform that you can use. If you go over to their website, you can go into the simple do -it -yourself card, which is going to auto -generate your seed phrase, or you can get into a version that's going to give you a seed phrase option. So you've got both options. Make sure and get the three -pack. Use our code down below. It's going to give you an additional 10 % discount. So that does help the channel out. All right, let's get into a couple of things here today. I've got a few clips here to play out. To give you one, a recap of where the speaker is and why this is such an important role, especially for crypto. Let's play this first clip. Two would -be candidates, Majority Leader Steve Scalise and Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, ended up withdrawing their names after not having the votes they needed. The standstill preventing Congress from taking any action on crucial issues. Nine candidates filed to run by Sunday's deadline. The highest ranking among them, GOP whip Tom Emmer, has already earned the endorsement of his former boss. This is not a time for a learning experience as speaker. Tom would be able to walk into the job and do it. A secret vote with the GOP conference is scheduled for Tuesday. Congressman Mike Flood is encouraging Republicans to sign a unity pledge, promising to support whomever wins that vote. He can only afford to lose support from four of his Republican colleagues. In a letter Saturday promising to always be honest and direct and never make a promise he can't fulfill, Schultz says Emmer represents a compromise candidate for a divided Republican party, adding that Emmer appears to have plenty of support and respect among Republicans. All right, so, I mean, it looks rosy for Emmer, however, there is and most likely going to be some pushback. This most likely will come from the MAGA side of what's happening in the House. I want to go to this next clip on what happens tomorrow in terms of the vote. Listen in. I think we will know probably by one o 'clock tomorrow who that speaker nominee is and how close they are. Will they be able to start legislating again quickly or is there going to be too much back and forth? I think that right now we're in a situation where if a speaker does not come out of this around here, I think it increases the pressure to come with some kind of an agreement about a temporary speaker. There is a lot that the House needs to get underway. And of course, getting a speaker in line is very, very critical. Here was a clip on Ken Buck, kind of because he was one of the first to actually flip on Jordan and be pro Emmer, listen to what he had to say. He did not vote for Congressman Jim Jordan, instead voting for Tom Emmer. Well, I guess my first question is, do you really want Tom Emmer to be speaker? No, I don't. I don't like Tom Emmer. I figured this would be the worst job in America. This is a terrible job. So just to underscore that you voted for somebody because you don't like them. I voted for somebody because I wasn't going to vote for Jim. But but you. All right. So you can kind of see the quandary that the House is in. They don't want something so far right. But at the same time, they're not necessarily, you know, positive on what Emmer's stance is, because remember, Emmer is a very pro digital assets lawmaker. And I think his position right now will start to really press the House in terms of things going forward. Politico had an article right here. Trump's tells allies he didn't support Emmer's speaker bid. So this is already starting a little bit of a kerfuffle with not only within the House itself, but also some key components of we'll call it the MAGA machine. I want to go to this next clip that is kind of interesting. This is Steve Bannon talking about Speaker Emmer. Listen in. Remember, Tom Emmer's the biggest of all the never Trump congressmen out there. He's a guy who hates Trump, a super bad guy. If you take out Emmer, you look at the other eight. Hey, there's some good people there. The first thing to do is to stop Emmer today. Once Emmer stopped. Just want to repeat this. You have decapitated decapitated you. This audience did that. Nobody else did that. You did this. So interesting stuff there from Bannon. Again, you know, obviously a very pro MAGA position here again was Roger Stone. If Republicans are going to select Tom Emmer for speaker, why not just reinstall Nancy Pelosi? They're saying, I think that this is the problem that we face right now in the House is that there's so much of this political infighting right now. We can't get these things done and it represents an opportunity for us to get when I say us meaning the American people get a pro digital assets lawmaker in a position of power. Not that the majority of whip is not a position of power, but the speaker of the house is a position of the power and could help really move things through from a regulatory standpoint. I want to jump over to this next clip and this goes into why MAGA is not in line with what Emmer is all about. Listen to that. Is he too moderate? And I put that in quotes. Is he too moderate for House Republicans to unite behind? Absolutely not too moderate. They are all extremely hard, right? Tom Emmer would be the natural pick in a moment where everything has collapsed and you just reach for a consensus candidate. The problem is, Katie, he is one of the members that voted to certify the 2020 election. And so Donald Trump is suspicious of him. It only takes a handful of people who say, OK, Mr. Trump, I'll oppose Emmer. I agree. Emmer is probably the front runner, but Emmer get 217 votes on the floor, not if Donald Trump says don't do it. That is going to be the question here, because if he doesn't win over some of the Republicans and there's only a handful that he has to be able to do this with, then he's going to lose out. But I think we as the American people will lose out just equally as well. Here's why, though, it's so important to the crypto community of why Emmer should be the speaker listening. Crypto saying this whole industry is a fraud, is a scam. It offers no value. It's all play money, et cetera. And then you get to the very end, say the future of our finance in this country is going to be Fed now and the CBDC. Right. Wait a second Fed now. Oh, yippee. I think Fed now will probably work about as well as the post office. All right. You will not have real time clearing. And if you do, you got to worry about everybody who's watching that transaction and scraping data out of that transaction on behalf of your government. The Republican Party has always had its issues with a party purity, right, constitutional purity. And I'm better than you and I'm more in the religious right that factors into it. So we have all these, if you will, melting pot of these different political persuasions. But you've got some good Democrats. I'm going to tell you right now, by the way, their political persuasion probably leans even farther left than I would care to acknowledge. But it's not about their political leanings, just like it's not about Tom Emmer's political leanings. This is an area of finance that literally defines our freedom. I got news for you. That's not a Republican or Democrat thing. That's an American thing. And whether it's Richie Torres, whether it's Darren Soto, who I do a bunch of different bills with, whether it's Ro Khanna, I think you've got to be a little patient with them and I'm not here to to defend them. But I think you've got to be a little patient with them because maybe they are measuring their words because they happen to be under a Democrat administration that they disagree with. Quite frankly, this is what frustrates me with Elizabeth Warren. Elizabeth Warren, if she truly believed in the American value of self -determination, if she truly believed in individuals right to make their own decisions, would she claims she would champion crypto? It's very clear to me that she's nothing more than a big central bank power hungry leader who sees her power essentially being diluted and taken away by this decentralization of our financial system and our financial transactions. And she's desperately, along with the establishment, the institution, she is desperately clinging to hold on to that central banking thing, because that's where their power is. This is a good example of some of the things that are happening right now in our traditional banking system. And these are the things that decentralized assets, especially around digital assets, could solve. And one of those, of course, right here from The Daily Hodl, JP Morgan, of course, coming in now, being sued allegedly for terminating accounts, failing to return about 1 .1 million. So this was purchased through CDs to a couple, individually purchased some CDs at a branch, at a Chase branch. The bank basically closed their accounts and the bank said it mailed out checks to them, but they never got them. And then it all went into, well, give us the check numbers and they couldn't provide those because they never got the check. It ended up having to result in a lawsuit to be able to just get those assets back. These are the kind of things that are happening in traditional finance. And this is just one of many things that are going on out there within TradFi. And I think that's the point that Emmer was making with Elizabeth Warren. But more importantly is that we need to get to a point of decentralized assets as an option that isn't being pushed down by overreach by the SEC, etc. Even Trump, ironically, has an Ethereum stash and it's growing or continuing to grow whether he wants it to or not. The idea of him doing NFT drops and his concept around what he's doing on his collectibles is kind of unique in the sense that he might be against a speaker that's actually pro digital assets, which would be beneficial for him. All right. So whoever does win the speakership, the issue is going to be going through these eight Republicans. So if you if you recognize one of these people and I'll put the names down here in a second is now go out there with StandWithCrypto, I'll show you the website in a second. You can get more information on each one of these. But the list is right here. Let's going to zoom in on it. You got Andy Biggs of Arizona, Ken Buck, Colorado, Burchetta of Tennessee, Eli Crane, Arizona, Matt Gaetz, of course, Florida, Bob Good, Virginia, Nancy Mace, South Carolina, and then Matt Rosendale of Montana. So what I would do is just go right over to StandWithCrypto. You can go over and actually search out each individual person. It will give you the ability to call your congressman right there. You can get started. It's going to give you a little script and it's going to give you ability to actually stand up for what's happening in crypto right now. We are close, maybe the closest ever to getting a pro legislator in a position of power to be able to get some of this stuff through and really change, I think, the future of innovation around all of this. Now, not everything is great right now in terms of the House. And we're going to have a lot of situations, especially hearings, coming along this week. This is one of the things that is going to be happening is going to be a hearing examining the SEC's agenda, unintended consequences for the U .S. capital markets and investors. So that's one. Let me kind of zoom in on that for you guys. This one right here is happening on October 24th. Then we also have this hearing right here, which is the Modernizing Financial Services Through Innovation and Competition, another pro independent finance. And this will happen on the 25th as well or the day after. Then we have two hearings that are extremely negative to crypto. This one right here, which is the hearing entitled How America and its allies can stop Hamas, Hezbollah from invading sanctions and financial terror. You know that crypto is going to come up on that. I hope that we get a lot of the on -chain data analysis that has been put out there to show that they've been wrong in accusing crypto of contributing to that. And the last one that you have to watch for this week also is moving the money, understanding Iranians' regime access to money around the world. This is going to go back into the scenario of how are they getting cash. You know crypto is going to be coming up in that as well. So there's some very key hearings that most likely are going to have bills attached to this that are critical to the future of how this market is going to be flowing out there. So just be aware this is a big week in D .C. With a speaker, a couple of hearings on both the good side and the bad side of crypto. And I think after this week, we're going to know a lot more going forward, especially around legislation. Here's our S &P. This is on the four hour. So you can kind of see that clip right there on Thursday, the 27th. And then we've seen that bit of a downturn. You look at gold also, which has been on the rise, but has started to stabilize right here around the 1900, 1950 range, which is interesting because with Bitcoin continuing to fly right now, the question mark is, is this the top? We're going to be doing a video on that, so be on the lookout for that. Of course, if you guys are not in the diamond circle, make sure and get in now. It's one of the best places to get additional content from us. We do additional podcasts over there, some TA videos I think you will like. We just did one on Solana, also on APE and Render, all of which have been moving a little bit over the last few days. So check that one out. Just go to our substack, pbn3 .substack. You can find out all that good stuff over there. And of course, if you're not following me on X, make sure and do that. It's just at Paul Baron. We'll catch you next time right here on Tech Buy.

"I talked about this earlier, but more businesses, more restaurants, more service industries are putting their hand out looking for a tip. USA Today did a recent study on tipping, found the average tip percentage in the US just shy of 18%, 17 .94%. California residents tip the most, averaging 22 .7%. Illinois residents tip the least, averaging just over 14%. Millennials are the best tippers, and of course, tips vary on a person's income level. But what was interesting is when they broke it down by the state. The 10 best tipping states? California, Missouri, Florida, Arizona, Rhode Island, Washington, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Georgia, all over the place. What about the worst tipping states? That's where it got interesting. Hey, Tennessee, fifth worst tipping state, average percentage 15 .4%. Illinois is the worst, following Mississippi, South Carolina, New Mexico, then Tennessee, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, North Dakota, West Virginia, and Utah. I'm always in the 20, 21 % range, so I don't feel so bad.

"But we're not even to that point in this discussion. He wasn't even asked that. Right. I mean, he didn't in the end, I don't know if he's he's talking about 50. He kept saying, well, 15 weeks seems to be a number that everybody likes. I don't know. I'm not sure. It certainly seems like he's moved to the center, if not to the left on this from the talk I heard. And the Megyn Kelly interview was the same thing. Can a man become a woman? Yeah, that should have been an immediate no. How could it be? How could it be anything other than no? That should have been laughter. That should have been greeted with a loud and boisterous laughter. No, of course not. Who who thinks that's possible? Science will tell you no. So I'm going to go I'm going to go with I'll go with follow the science there Megyn. Shout out to David Brody this morning, by the way, also pointing it out. And he'd have a better handle on the evangelicals who were a huge part of Trump in 2016. He wonders how this is going to how this will how this will read in the next weeks coming after the after this interview. It'll be interesting to see. Iowa, too. May have absolutely no impact. I have no idea. But it's not a great answer. All right. Our two coming up. Sports with Slick Rick. More news with Rick Dale. Got to wing it back on a Monday night. And we'll see you next time.

"Yeah, that's that's what you got from Kristen Walker, which she was. And she just lied. Just fact check lied about stuff. The Pelosi stuff. Oh, there's no there's there's no evidence of anything, according to Kristen Walker. That's pretty much what you can take away from the interview. Right. There's always no evidence. There's no evidence of anything. No evidence that Pelosi turned down the turned down 10000 National Guard troops, all of those 10 people who were in the room who said yes, including Kash Patel, that it happened. There's no evidence of any of that. There's no evidence. Stephen Sund, Capitol Police chief, who said I wasn't getting these briefings. Oh, no, no, there's no there's no evidence, according to Kristen Walker. Yeah, we were requesting help. They were turning us down. Even the mayor of D.C. sent a letter saying, don't send help. We're good. We got this covered, which he brought up to her that I had. He brought that up. Did he? Yes, he did. He brought that up to Kristen Walker, who didn't care. Oh, of course she didn't care. Or should she? So just I mean, just really, it was hard to watch. And for them, for the most part, 99 percent of the president did. You know, he's way too much for her. Way too much. Did a great job. The only the only thing that's questionable is the abortion answer. Which people have talked about incessantly. And I, you know, I just don't know who's giving him the advice to move to the center on this. There's there's no voters anywhere in this country, anywhere who say, you know, I didn't vote for Trump in 16 or 20, but if he just would move left on abortion, I would vote for him. There are no people who say that. Good point. You're not there's nobody who you're going to convince by saying, oh, what I'm done with it, everyone's going to be happy. It's impossible. There are no middle of the road voters on this topic. They're either hard death or hard life. So I don't know. I just I don't know where he's going with that answer. I know he's going back to his New York days. I posted the clip of on Tim Russert a long time ago when he was asked about this. Was that like 1999 or something? 1999. Exactly. And certainly people can change their views. Clearly he has. We've listened to him talk at the March for Life, the first president to ever attend it. See, and that's that's one of the interesting things here, because, you know, he's never been a you know, when you look at that 1999 and you're listening to him now, it kind of sounds like the same guy, right? Where he's got, OK, you know, I understand it. I don't like it. I'm for life, but I understand that kind of thing, which I think a lot of people are. I think most people are probably somewhere in that middle. Like there are certain instances where they can say, you know, you got me on that one. That's that's one I didn't think about. OK, I could understand it in that in that respect. But when you look at also what he has done, you know, you hear his words, but then you see what he's done. You mentioned the March for Life. He was the only president that ever went there, right? Yes, he was. Yeah, he was the only president. And if you listen to his speech, he talks about every life, right? He doesn't talk like the answer he gave on Meet the Press. He doesn't talk about that a six week heartbeat bill is a mistake. How can that be a mistake? And people say, well, it's back to the states now. OK, it's back to the states. How hard do you think it's going to be for? We can't even get red state governors to pass legislation that looks like it represents the people that they represent in red states. It's hard enough. We've seen it in South Dakota. We've seen it in all these red states, except for Florida. How hard do you think it's going to be for a governor when the the president of possibly the president again of the United States and certainly the leader of the Republican Party is speaking out against the policy saying it's a mistake. It's. I don't get it. That's the one part of the interview. I just I have no idea who's given him this advice that he needs to try to appease people that he's never going to appease ever, ever. There's not a one. Right. But again, I go back to look at his actions. You know, he's saying this, but then you look at his actions when he was in office. Not only did he do the march for life, but he's also been a pretty vocal supporter of it. And he's also he's responsible for the justices that ended up overturning Roe v. Wade. So, I mean, you know, it's almost like he's he he's with the pro lifers, but he's got this part of him that's like, ah, there's still that. There's still that ish. There's still that. You know, I still I still have I still have a sliver. There shouldn't be any daylight, I guess most people say. But he probably still has that lane of daylight. Maybe it's his upbringing. Maybe it's where it where he is from. You know, kind of some parts of you you don't lose. You always have those parts of you and that's who you are. So maybe that's why maybe there's been some experience where, you know, he's seen it within within family, within friends. He didn't like it, but he understood it. So he can't really condemn it completely. You know what I mean? Because, I mean, if I ever hear about somebody saying, oh, rape and incest, that's a hard, you know, I got I got to defer to the woman on that one. If she's been a victim and this is something that, you know, rape or incest, it's like that's, you know, that that is that's I can't I can't condemn someone if they if they have that because that's their belief. So I have to be, at least me personally, I'd have to be open to it. I mean, obviously, it's an extremely tough thing for a lot of people to position on and talk about. But and there are others who say it's the easiest thing to message on in the world. And either every life is precious or it's not.

"All right. 13 to the hour. So just quickly throw up my screen. Aaron, here's just look at her. Ask this quick. Now think about what's going on. Who's she talking to what we've seen. And this is how she asked. And she's serious about this question to Trump. Here it is. Talk about retribution. Are you talking about directing your attorney general to try to go after your political. When I talk about retribution, I'm talking about fairness. Now, if she had said like what's going on now at the end of it, then I could have accepted it. Right. But she asks it like it's like she's got serious concerns. Like we could never go there because that would be crazy. Like this is this is why we can't have you back because you do crazy things like this. Talk about retribution. Are you talking about directing your attorney general to try to go after your political. When I talk about retribution, I'm talking about fairness. We have to treat people fairly. These people on January 6, they went some of them never even went into the building and they're being given sentences of, you know, many years. Are you going to. Nothing is happening. Well, I'm going to look at them and I certainly might if I think it's appropriate. No, it's a very, very sad thing. And it's they're dividing the country so badly and it's very dangerous. Well, Mr. President, we're going to delve into that a little bit later on, but I want to stay on this idea of what you mean by retribution. Are you looking to appoint an attorney general who will prosecute the people you tell them to prosecute? I'm looking to appoint an attorney general who's going to be tough on crime and fair.

What's going on Rick? Alright, well there's a lot to pick from, but this one I think grabbed everybody's attention over the weekend is Russell Brand. My personal, one of my personal favorites in terms of podcasts, has now been accused of rape, sexual assault, and emotional abuse over a seven year period at the height of his fame. This is coming from, well one of the many ones, this is coming from the Guardian. The allegations between 2006 and 2013 were the result of a joint investigation of the Sunday Times, the Times, and Channel 4 dispatches. Brand denied the allegations. I don't know if you saw the quick two and a half minute video he put out. Five alleged victims, four of them anonymous, well that's interesting, were interviewed in the dispatches documentary and it aired on Saturday night. So they actually did a documentary. They didn't go to the police. They're like, no, no, no, let's do a documentary. They do a four part doc. This is the Times in England I guess. Now this supposedly happens between 2006 and 2013, like you said, at the height of his mainstream fame. And yet somehow, without any explanation, these only come to light now and then they do a four part doc and then they immediately put it behind a paywall. Explain that to me. You can't even go see it. It's behind a paywall. It's the same thing they did to Portnoy Business Insider. It's the same thing that we've seen in other celebrity cases like this. Why the wait and why all of a sudden if everybody needs, it goes behind a paywall. It's just so strange. The whole story seems a little strange. It seems a little oddly timed when you think about his recent trajectory when it comes to being his growing fan base. I think he's over six and a half million now on his YouTube page alone. Five alleged victims, like I said, four of them are anonymous. The Times titles said that they contacted the media personalities representative with details of the allegations as well as the information to help him recall the incidents in question in advance of the planned publications, giving him just eight days to respond. Brand lawyers, though, initially claimed to be unable to do so. The papers reported because a large litany of questions his lawyers characterized the way in which the request for comment was made as part of a preconceived strategy aimed at damaging their client. According to the report, they added that he believed that there was a deeply concerning agenda to all this, which he said in the video as well. Namely, the fact that he is an alternative media broadcaster competing with mainstream media. The Sunday Times said Brand's lawyers did not reply for further requests for comment. And according to the paper's report, one of the women said Brand entered into a relationship with her while she was just 31 and he was still at no while he was 31 and she was still 16, 16 years old. She reportedly said he referred to her as the child during an alleged emotionally abusive and controlling three month relationship. I mean, for for certain, you don't want to prejudge these kind of situations. But as you said, it is striking how much more of a. How much more of a thorn in the side to the power brokers of. Of all things, industry. And this nation, particularly of a threat that he is, he doesn't toe the line on. Well, vaccines, he doesn't toe the line on January six, he doesn't toe the line on many things. And he's really kind of changed his tune since I mean, most people think of him as doing these movies, being married to Katy Perry, Katy Perry and being a goofball. Well, he was in the remake of Arthur, which is OK. It wasn't that bad of a movie. But remember, he got thrown out of the GQ awards there in 2013 for starting then to not toe the line. Remember, he said one of the show sponsors, I think, had had previously made uniforms for the Nazis or something like that back in 2014 or 13 or 14. It was in the GQ awards or whatever the hell it was. And he's really been he's really been speaking out against the company line for about 10 years now. Yeah. With the biggest audience now that he's ever had. Yeah. And it just continues to grow. And his recent interviews, I guess. Did he do one with Trump? No, no. He spoke about Trump recently. Right. He spoke about Trump. And I guess it was I haven't had a chance to watch that particular episode yet. But people like, wow, did you hear what Russell was saying about Trump? And it's almost because it's almost like he's had enlightening about what has been exposed since 2015, 2016, up until now, how he's kind of had this conversion, so to speak. And I think he's bringing a lot of people with him. And the mainstream media ain't happy about that. Big Pharma is not happy. Oh, they're the they're the main ones. Oh, yeah. If there's one thing that he has absolutely hammered, put a torch to, he has extraordinarily spoken out about Big Pharma. Yeah. And with the help of RFK, who, you know, has done a show a few times now. So interesting, interesting story to see how this all of a sudden breaks. And we'll see what happens. We'll keep tabs on it. Keep checking it out. If you do get a chance, check out his podcast on Rumble because he can speak freely there. It's funny, he'll start his podcast on YouTube and then say, OK, after about 10 minutes, we're going to go over to Rumble now, change over and watch us on Rumble because we're about to talk about stuff we're not allowed to talk about here. Yeah. And one of those subjects, as we kept saying, keep saying is that he, unlike rest of the media, does not believe that we should just be kowtowing and bowing down to every drug that the pharmaceutical company wants to push upon us. And he has talked about it incessantly. Yeah. So, again, you talk about someone who is a far bigger threat to the power brokers of the world than he was back in 2013. He'd be one of them right now. Yeah. And especially the fact that he hits a certain demographic, too, which is, you know, very concerning to them. He hits a younger demographic than they're used to. Similar to James O'Keefe, by the way. Yeah. What's happened to him? The demographic he hits, the subject matters he hits. Not too dissimilar. And remember, it was right around the time Big Pharma exposed Pfizer, all of a sudden they came for him at Project Veritas. Yes, they did. Same thing here. He's had on RFK last couple of weeks. They've exposed and talked about some big things. And what a surprise. Hey, rape allegations. Here you go. Break glass. Yeah. Talking about some other things that could be made up. Let's talk about President Biden as he continues to have this awesome life that never happened. President Biden claims he taught political theory, believe it or not, at the University of Pennsylvania. Yes, he said this in a speech. Democracy is at stake, folks, he began. Our democracy is under attack and we've got to fight for it. He was talking, I want to see where he was talking at this one. It doesn't say here, but this story is from the American insider. He says, I taught at the University of Pennsylvania for four years and I used to teach political theory. And folks, you always hear every generation has to fight for democracy. And I found myself, it's automatic. We didn't have to believe it, but we do. We do. Of course, this was a fact checked almost immediately, despite being an honorary professor, honorary in recent years, fact checkers say he's never taught a single class. Biden claims he taught political theory at the University of Pennsylvania. He never taught a single class at UPenn, according to Greg Price. Also, this coming from author Carol Roth, who I think had the best line in this article, she said, Biden's pretend life sounds very fun and interesting. And then another person wrote that is this guy in late stage dementia, is this guy a late stage dementia patient or does he, is he literally a serial liar? I'm not sure which one is worse. And you think about that, and then you juxtapose that against a former president who once again for an hour and 13 minutes went into the lion's den with Kristen Welker on Meet the Press, which just as a side note, if she hosts that show, like we saw in week one, that show is probably got about 12 months or less left before they start looking for someone else because the ratings have got to be other than the Trump, which I'm sure she got great ratings for. But that is going to be abysmal. She is in no way, she doesn't even have the ability to come across as anything but a partisan cover for the Biden administration, an activist for the Democrat Party, a donor of the Democrat Party, as her parents are, I believe, big donors. I mean, she, she doesn't have an inkling of news in any bone in her body that she wants to get to. She sits there and ask questions and then doesn't let him speak. And she did it throughout the interview. And then they edited it to live fact check the things that they didn't like that he said. I mean, she was so rude and obnoxious as the host and questioner in this interview with Trump. I mean, it was really hard to watch. I mean, she'd ask him something, he start to answer and then she just just like she did in the debate when she was the moderator back in 2020. She was awful then too, sitting there just running for cover. I mean, she, she has the nerve to ask Trump about if he was to get elected, he would he appoint an attorney general, you know, they're all caught up in this revenge thing, which would you now she's supposed to be a reporter. And she's sitting with the former president who has undergone from the current administration, the biggest, most dangerous weaponization and targeting of their political opponents we've ever seen. And she has the nerve to ask him about targeting your political opponents and doesn't doesn't bring it up. Because she doesn't have it in her to say anything about, does it concern you that the Department of Justice? No, she could never ask that question. She says, well, are you gonna, are you going to appoint an attorney general and like, like, who's gonna like, go after your political opponents? Like, she's really concerned about it, but she doesn't bring up that it's currently happening. No, because to them, it's okay. See, this is fine. If it's if it's from them, if it's happens to them, well, then that's the problem. It's, it's all it's all fine, as long as they can do it. But don't you dare try and do that to us because that's unfair. And of course, she's, she sounds, she sounds like she sounds like a delightful person, actually, to hang out with. And then she runs cover and interference when the, when the answers get to a point where she does. Well, there's no, there's no, there's no, no, no. Well, Mr. President, there's no there's no evidence. Was she having a Leslie stall moment? There's no evidence of anything according to her. Sir, sir. No, it's not yet. Not that bad. She has her own annoying way of doing it. Oh my God. It's unwatchable. Unwatchable. Great. I can't wait not to watch it. I'll play some clips for you. See if you think it's watchable. Damn it. He's gonna play.

"Jimmy G, not to be. Not on that Sunday. He went down the field, it was 7-0. I'm saying, oh boy, we might be in trouble. But the Bills, Josh Allen, they came back and formed Big D. They won 38-10. Broncos and Commandos, back and forth. Great game. Just like that Giants-Arizona game. What a comeback by the Giants. We didn't pick that game, but that was a fantastic comeback by the New York football Giants. At 17, what was the score in the Giants game going into the fourth? 27-0? 20-7, I think? Because it was 17-0. It was 17-0. I texted Paul Nolan, the Giants are going to go 0-17 this year. And he texts back, or worse. Or worse. Well, they flew back. Unbelievable. And I turned the game off. And then I said to my wife later that night, the Giants have gone scoreless in two games. Thinking they hadn't scored in the fourth quarter. And she goes, oh no, Damon, what are you talking about? She's like, the Giants won. I was like, what? That's an amazing win. But the Broncos, they dropped one. They had a Hail Mary pass right at the end, which they scored. But they failed to hit the two-point conversion there. So, 35-33. Commandos picked that one. And they're up 2-0 now, Washington. They're looking good, too. That NFC East is a tough division. And speaking of the NFC, the Cowboys, of course, went in, took care of business against the Jets team. I'll tell you, the Jets, though, they got a good defense. They really do. They really held the Cowboys in check. I thought the Cowboys could have put up 50. They ended up holding them to five field goals. But still, the Cowboys ended up winning 30-10. Their defense was a little bit too strong. The Dallas defense, that would be for the Jets. It's going to be your year, Slick. Long way to go, Big D. You know that. It's only two games. A lot of things could happen. Look at Saquon Barkley. Tweaked his ankle. You know, I don't want to get too crazy. But anyway, Big D, that was a glorious wrap in sports. 6-3 this weekend. 6-3 last weekend. So, I got to get a little better with those college picks. Those are tough. I just can't quite figure that out. But good run overall. Alright, very good. We'll do some more sports. Sports is brought to you by Mike Lindell and MyPillow. Let's do some news. And here with that, it's Rick Delgado. What's going on? Well, first I want to do a quick follow-up on that Lauren Boebert story.

"Really whispering because you don't want anybody else to hear. Um, but I walked through that, um, school and I purposely looked of any books I could see posters. I could see every room I could look at. I didn't see one thing that as a parent would have alarmed me. All right. All right. Not a, not a nothing, not a, not a, not a food, not a water bowl on the floor. Nothing. Nothing that I saw. Do you go into the men's room? Is there any female? No, no signs. No, no signs. No, nothing. And I had two people come up and tell me they liked the show, so I don't know. Oh, all right. So I don't know if that goes for every school in Long Island, but I mean, Suffolk County is extremely Republican. Yes. Yeah. Trump did very well in Suffolk County and will do again strong for all the GOP candidates in Suffolk County. Oh, you know better than anybody. Absolutely. It's huge. I mean, we, if the rest of the country thought like Suffolk County, the county that we live in, we'd be in a great spot. Great spot as far as nationally taking the elections every year. Big day. No nonsense group, very conservative, good, good community. Yeah. All right. Let's do some sports. Sports is brought to you by Mike Lindell and MyPillow. Slick can give us a review of the Oddsmakers, which we posted on Friday night, our segment for the Oddsmakers, which we couldn't do on the show. But we did it afterwards and posted it. Sports is brought to you by Mike Lindell and MyPillow. Use our code LFS6B if you shop there. What's going on, Slick? All right, Big D. Well, I'll breeze through the quick recap of the NCAA and the NFL games that we picked on Friday. But right now, NFL action, Monday Night Football. Double header, Big D. Back to backs here. We have the Saints and the Panthers already underway in Carolina. Saints lead 6-3 with about seven minutes to go in the second quarter. And Steelers and Browns just underway. I guess the Steelers must have scored on the opening kickoff because there's only nine seconds into the game. And the Steelers are up 7-0 over the Browns. And that's at what? Akashua Stadium in Pittsburgh, the former Hines Stadium. So we'll keep an eye on both of those games this evening. And again, Steelers over the Browns 7-0 and the Saints lead the Panthers 6-3. Over the weekend, NCAA games, Big D. Well, we split the games. Good ones. UNC did defeat Minnesota 31-13. Covered there late seven. Bama. Bama's having their struggles. They got a quarterback issue now. They look like they're having some major issues figuring out which direction they want to go. I mean, that game was up in the air until the fourth quarter. It was. It was a 33-point line. And they ended up only winning 17-3 by two scores. And you're right, it was late that they actually scored. At one point, it was 3-0 U.S. University of Southern Florida for quite a while. So we're going to see what's going to happen. Whether they're going to go with Jalen Milro or another quarterback. The great state of Iowa, what do you know? They found their offense, Big D. They ended up scoring 41 points and beat Western Michigan by 10. So therefore, they covered by three. So that worked out well. And last but not least, great nightcap game. Colorado, Deion Sanders. You've done 60 minutes. I just can't bring myself to watch this. I watched the whole game until 2.30 in the morning. It was unbelievable. What a game. Right back and forth. So did I. I almost fell asleep. But what an incredible back and forth. Shador Sanders, I think he's the real deal, Big D. Great, great young quarterback. And well, we'll see what happens. Well, these next two weeks are going to tell us whether they're the real deal. The Oregon game next week is going to be a big one. Yeah, we'll see what happens. But they did 43-35. A double overtime winning that game. And boy, it hats off to Colorado State. Boy, they came to play Big D. They had a helmet on everybody. So it was a great game. NFL pick shooting over to that. Well, the Packers did not win, but they did cover Atlanta. Ended up edging the Packers at the end there. But it was 25-24 plus one and a half. Talk about raise the thing. You think the Ozmakers knew what they were doing there? So we won that game. The Chiefs, of course, Kansas City, they struggled a little too, but they played a very good Jacksonville team. Those two teams, I got a funny feeling they're going to meet again in the playoffs. But they did defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars. Trevor Lawrence just really couldn't find his mojo. Did you hear Iron Eagle with the call? No. When Kelcey scored his touchdown, because you know the rumors of him and Taylor Swift. Oh yeah, Taylor Swift, yeah. So he scored the touchdown and Iron Eagle, he had it ready to go. He said, Kelcey found a blank space for the touchdown. Oh, that was a good one. So what they did, they won 17-9. They're back on track. I think they'll still be a great team. Mahomes signed a huge contract today, too. Extension. And the Bills, 38-10.

"I'm interested in what the audience thinks. I think back when we were growing up, it wasn't as important. I don't think it was as discussed either or thought about as much. And I'm wondering now, can a couple survive if they're not aligned on some of these issues? Raising kids in this world of today. Yeah, I think that's probably the thing you'd have to align on is how we're going to raise our kids. Whether it has to do with the social side or the religious side, because you do have those instances where you get people from different religions and somebody has to make a sacrifice. Say, you know what, I'm going to step away. I'm going to convert to this religion and we're going to raise our kids this way. But that has to be, that's something that you work out. Yeah, like your kids are coming home from school saying, oh, Johnny's using the girls bath. Are you on the same page with all that? Yeah, no. That's a hard no on Johnny using the girls bathroom. What I'm saying, you and your to be would have to, you would think you would have shared where you believe on that before you got married. That's my point. Yeah, I think, you know what, I think on that one. Yeah, most people agree. Obviously, I'm seeing it already. I don't know. And I'm seeing some feedback on the Lauren Boebert and most people seem like they don't care. Which, again, and so on, maybe not. Some people say it's disgusting. You can't excuse the behavior. She represents the people she needs to act professional, which is what you said. You're in Congress. Yeah, Kettle Walk said that. Most people would think when you go out and you're a member of Congress, you know you've already got a target on your back. You know, people are watching every move you make, especially from the media and the other side or whoever. I mean, you would think that would be like a given. Yeah, who knows? I mean, she's vaping. Who knows? I'm not going to speculate. Even though I love to, I'm not going to in this instance. Because, you know, can't you put other stuff in those vaping things? Like, it's not just whatever the flavor is. I've never done it. I have no idea. I have no desire, but you probably can, Rick. I think you can. I think those are going to end up being worse than cigarettes probably 10, 15 years from now. We'll find out. All right. Live from Studio 6B. Lots to talk about. Lots to get your feedback tonight. We'll do sports and news. WTF of the day. Oh, that's a good one. Coming up on a Monday night. Radical ballad. All right. 17 past the hour. Live from Studio 6B on a Monday. Getting a week started. Glad you're in. Hope you had a good weekend. Rick Delgado's going to do some sports. Rick Delgado's going to do some news. We've got a couple of good quail. Audiences fired up tonight. Gotten a lot of good stuff back. What'd somebody say? Well, Damon, would you marry Joy Behar? Yeah, Joy's Behar. Well, no, I would not marry Joy Behar, but I don't know. Maybe because I wouldn't want to shave her back every day for her. That's bad. Maybe not because of Rob. No, I just, no, I wouldn't. Thank you. Wow. No, I wouldn't. No, I mean, I only ask because I don't know. I don't know why I ask. Something made me think of it this weekend. I was thinking. What about Joy Behar's hairy back? No, no, about potential husbands and wives being aligned on politically. I guess because, you know, the whole, everybody's response to the Trump abortion thing this weekend and his response to the Megyn Kelly. Can a man be, um, wait on the, can a man become a woman without an immediate no. And I forgot what else it was, but something just made me think, man, couples today, raising kids. I went to back to school night. You know, I never said this. I went to back to school night and I'll tell you one thing. And I don't know about other school districts on Long Island, but my kids district, I walked around that building. First of all, I had two people come up to me and go, I really like your show.

"It almost looks like, almost like a setup. Almost, I started to think that too, it's like. I got better cameras in that theater than we have here in the studio. And they got one trained specifically on where she was sitting. Which makes you think, well, why was it pointed right there? Don't those things constantly move? I thought they were supposed to be constantly moving. Well, I don't know, I mean it looked like when the wide shot, it looked like it just covered the whole theater. I don't know that it was necessarily set there for her, but obviously zoomed in on her when the hanky-panky started. Which, I mean, I don't know, she's apologized for it and I know everybody's all over her. Well, he was. Well, he was, yeah. And she says, you know, she's gone through a lot in her personal life and, I mean, I don't know. What do you guys think? Strange behavior in public, but. You go first. Obviously, you don't have an opinion. I'll pass. I mean, I'll accept what she says, whatever she's going through. I mean, I don't know about all that in the public theater. Whether that's appropriate or not, probably not. I'm going to say it's completely inappropriate. I mean, you know, at this point, I could see if you were like 21, 22, you're a young kid, you're messing around. Okay, I get it. You're an adult. She's got five kids. Five kids, you've been married, you serve in the House of Representatives. You've got to have better judgment than that. Should she lose her job? No. Well, she only won by about 600 votes, which, I mean. She might double that now, because I think some people are fans. Only fans. But it is weird, though. The whole tape, the whole thing, the vaping. Yeah, the vaping, it's just like. What is she, what are you thinking about? When did she, you know what, that's a good question, too, is when did she get married? Did she get married young? Seems like she was probably like a 20-year-old bride, right? Now she's divorced. What's the audience feedback on her behavior? Does the audience have a, I'm interested in, a couple things I'm interested in what the audience thinks of tonight. And that's the first one, is Bobert. Because some of that behavior is, again, that's 20-year-old behavior. That's the kind of stuff knuckleheads do. And the fact that she's got five kids, she looks fairly young, what is she, early 40s maybe? Maybe she never lived it up in her 20s. And now she's kind of hearkening back to that missed opportunity of living it up, you know, college life and all that stuff. Who knows? It brings up another question I'm interested in the audience's feedback on. Do you think these days, with the way the world is and the way our political world is, is we have all young kids who are going to grow up to date and marry, hopefully, and be happy and have families. Aligning your political, social, moral, political views, more important today than maybe when we were growing up that we didn't really think or talk about it as much. Do you think it's as vital today to align yourself with someone who politically thinks the same way you do, has the same values on abortion, things like that? Are you talking about relationships? And someone that you're looking to, yeah, and get engaged and marry.

"And then of course you equate that with, is that just another example of an Aaron Rodgers New York Jets coincidence? I'm not following that, what does that mean? You spend all this money on this great jet and you can't use it because it crashed. Well yeah I mean I don't know, like I said I think there has to be, I'm sure there will be, although can we trust the people doing the investigation would be the, I guess would be the question. Because that guy who runs that outfit over there doesn't seem like he's all on the ball. No, he doesn't seem too into it. But it is a strange story, but they have found it, so our 900 number is not going to work tonight, you don't have to call in and let us know if you've seen it. Because I think it's been found in Williamsburg County, South Carolina, which is about 75 miles north of where the pilot ejected. And again it's like, hey let's, we need the public's help here, you need the public's help. They set up an 800 number. Yeah, that's the craziest thing, you would think, okay I've seen the movies from 20 years ago, they can zero in, they can read your license plate from space, you can't find one of your own jets that probably has some homing stuff on it. I don't care if it's stealth, it still puts out a signal that you should be able to track, right? It should show up on a screen, so if you are in a dogfight with aliens and one goes out, you'd be like, oh that was Colonel so-and-so, he just got taken out by the alien, his thing goes blank. Good analogy, yes. Thank you. I do believe the pilots can turn the transponder off in the stealth aircraft, so they're not emitting signal. But why would they do that? So the enemy can't find you. But you're over your own country. Yeah, but if he's practicing stealth maneuvers, he's going to do it just like he'd do it in battle. Okay, so there you go, there's all kinds of open questions that we need to find out. Was he practicing stealth maneuvers? We don't know, we know they were doing drills, so that's a possibility. We don't know. Slick, how are you? I'm good, thank you. Well, I don't hear your mic, but I'm glad you're here, we'll do some sports. Well, there you go, how are you? Well, speaking of jets that crashed, I've just crashed in here myself. The Jets are setting up a 900 number for a quarterback, possibly, after yesterday's game, but yeah, I'm here, Big D. Alright, very good, we will go back over the odds-makers. I don't know the exact record, but I think you did pretty well. Yeah, we did good on the pro. I think you split on college and you did very well on pro, if I remember looking quickly. So we'll do some sports, we'll do some news, some weird stories. Well, we talked about the Jet, the Russell Brand thing is weird to me. We didn't really talk Friday about the Lauren Boebert story, which has some weird things to it. That's a crazy story. That is crazy, in that it almost seems like she was, now she's dumped this guy. Well, I was a Democrat bar owner.

Rick Delgado joins me to do some news. Yes sir. How are you? I'm frazzled. It's been a weekend. It's been a day. It's been crazy. Okay, very good. Well there you go. I was just going to ask you how your weekend was. We got a new driver in the house. I'm nervous. He wants to go here. He wants to go there. He's got to go to his SAT prep course. I guess I got to let him go. He has to get a license now. Yeah, I have that same issues now with a new driver in the house. And brings along all kinds of other things. They grow up so fast. Oh my goodness. Hope you all had a great weekend as well. There's lots to talk about. Oh yeah. I didn't get a chance to watch every second of all the Sunday shows. I probably didn't even watch half of them probably but I did watch Kristen Welker. So we'll talk a little bit about that. I've set up a 900 number tonight for you to call in if you've witnessed and found the missing F-35 jet. Call the 900 number. Figured they have an 800 number set up for it. Figured we'll go 900. Might as well make a few bucks. Yeah, make a couple bucks. While people are outside looking for the F-35. I think it's actually now been, the wreckage has been found. Oh really? Did they finally decide, oh we should maybe activate the low jack on that thing? You would think for 100 million it would have that as an option. Yeah, I don't know how you lose an 80 million but it was designed to be a stealth deal. So I mean it's... It was hiding. It was doing it. It's working. It's working. I would think you would think that we would figure out a way to like turn it off or something or find, you know, I don't know. Or have it like, because from what I understand you can control, they can land it and have it take off without a pilot. You would think they'd be able to be like, hey you know what, you know, turn around. I mean it's one thing, it's one thing, I read something today in the American Thinker I believe it was, Andrea Weiberg. It's one thing for us to design these things for the enemy not to see them but I mean could we leave like a back door for us to be able to find it? Maybe the Chinese spy balloon could find it. Probably. You know what caught my attention though when I was reading about that? That's a weird story isn't it? It's odd because then it makes me think, okay, because you know you saw all the things, oh it was hacked by the Chinese. It landed in Havana right now. Right now they're going through it. They're taking it apart. And the only thing I can think of is, was it an AI glitch? Right? Are we talking, are we talking did this thing decide, hey you know what, maybe it's Terminator time? Then I'm going to start flying around deciding who I'm going to pick off? Well I mean only you would go there. I went as far as maybe some kind of enemy takeover, enemy action, something. We should find out what happened. Yeah. Because I mean again I don't know how you lose an 80 million dollar jet.

"Here's Rolling Stone this week. 21 South Carolina GOP lawmakers proposed death penalty for women who have abortions. Here's the way Rolling Stone characterized it. Rolling Stone not exactly, you know, the national review. It's not just a lone extremist, the bill has 21 co sponsors in the state's House of Representatives. Members of the South Carolina state House are considering a bill that would make a woman who has an abortion in South Carolina, eligible for the death penalty. It's called the South Carolina prenatal equal protection act. Of 2023, it would amend the state's code of laws redefining person to include a fertilized egg at the point of conception, affording equal protection under the homicide laws of the state, up to and including the ultimate punishment, death. I'm as pro life as it comes, and I admit, I have to struggle sometimes with optics of the abortion debate. Exceptions for rape and incest always troubled me. What did the baby conceive by a violent criminal act like a rape due to deserve being aborted? It's not the baby's fault. And yet exceptions for rape and incest is a pretty mainstream carve out for the pro life position. Well, now you go to South Carolina where 21 lawmakers believe that having an abortion should fall under the criminal statutes that would lead to the potential of a woman who got an abortion receiving the death penalty.

"Incredible memories where I get to host the Tiger tailgate show for a few years until they unceremoniously dump me because I was too controversial on radio and TV. I'll never forget that firing. I still get I still cringe when I drive by California dreaming over on I 85 in Greenville. That's where Mike Whittaker fired me from being and I was really into it. I was the Tiger tailgate host. I was the football out of the basketball PA announcer at Clemson. I mean, they loved me and I loved them. What an experience that was. You talk about a blessed experience to get to be involved in a big time college athletics program like that in a small level, but still traveled with the team on game day. Got to sit next to my buddy, Jim Phillips, who was the longtime voice of the Clemson tigers, and then somebody in gaffney didn't like me. It was a booster. It was a big donor. I ticked somebody off with one of my opinions and it all came screeching to a halt. And I think about that over the years because had that not happened, had I not got fired from Clemson for being from because of my opinions on radio and TV. I was doing a local TV commentary at the time. And something I said rub somebody the wrong way and they said, get that Gallagher guy out. He's out. Had that not happened, I would have probably never left South Carolina. I'll bet I'd still be in Greenville, South Carolina. Happy as a clan, because life is good there. Life is really, it's actually great there. In fact, I got to get back my friend Peggy and her sister patty have opened up a booth at the big west side market over the Augusta road. I gotta check that out 'cause knowing the king's sisters, it is a beautiful, beautiful booth. I'll bet you that you're gonna get some good items because they have exquisite taste. Anyway, that's my love affair with South Carolina.

"His training standards have gotten up to speed. Like, what he's doing with the ball right now is different. And, you know, it'd be really cool to see him continue, but because I know that Juan might is younger brother, Juan Manuel was top ten in the world at 16. You know, in juniors, he's a very good player as well, but I said that this guy, this guy has a few things here that, you know, it would be worth exploring here. And he said, yeah, you know, okay, we'll see what he wants to do, you know, very relaxed as a father and friend ended up playing a future in an hour away from his hometown and he went out there and did well and he goes, yeah, you know, it's okay. I kind of like it. Let's see if it goes. I'm actually pretty good at this thing. So the next one and so on. We connect, you know, I congratulated him and then we connect and he goes, look, you know, I do want to thank you for giving me this opportunity because I like to train now. I like to be here. It's not as hard as I thought it was. So I'm going to give it a go. And you know, for me as a coach, that made my heart full of like, okay, man, this guy's going to give it a go. Whether he's here at South Carolina or whether he's playing professionally in Argentina. Besides the point, the guy, the guy was able to realize his dreams, you know, and they were different than what he thought they were going to be. You know, as far as I would like tenants and I'll play casual, but the guy is now 20 got to the high of 26, 28 in the world or whatever it is. It's pretty amazing. Yeah? And then Paul apologia. So I remember being at Wendy, I saw a pod job, obviously, you know, British players get the wild card, so I'm playing. I was like, okay, this kid not bad. Little slim. Yeah. Fiery? Yeah, right? We can use, you know, I can use the bottom edge of the racket and chip, can do a bunch of stuff. Got a little swagger to him. And I actually tried to get tennis channel to do like a story on like a feature on sort of his story. So tell me about how you found Paul Joe. I mean, obviously most consequences go to the junior slams.

"To find your niche. You have to find the way that you have to develop your brand. And that's our brand is I've been at it for a long time, but look, I want to be known as a developer. I want to be a guy that's like, you want to come, you want to bust it every day and you want me to hold you accountable to the standards of what it's going to take to become a tour player. And this is your school. That's the brand that we want to put out there. And it scares the heck out of a lot of people to be totally honest. It moves recruits on. That want a general education and they want to have the football stadium and this and that. You know, that's not our brand. It sort of out recruits us in a way, but it also makes our whole little smaller. So the other side of it is like, you know, job in frame were both they were unknown players on recruiting laws. People were like, how did you find out about that guy? How did you find out about that guy? Paul, how did you find out about France? I had a great assistant. My assistant last time was Kyle Bailey is that Charlotte, you know, it came across his desk somehow, he went down the rabbit hole, and we look at some of the top players in the world from a country and then we go, now we're going to go into their federation website. And we're going to get it translated somehow to figure out what it means and all that. And then we're going to check out the results there. Are there players that just don't have the finances to get out of the country and travel on that? You have to do it well. And that are competitive with these guys. Well, those are the guys that's out kind of wants. Because I got a little edge to them. They got a little hunger to them. And they got the ability, right? So we want to go check those guys out. So then we started figuring out those guys. And that's what we recruit in the shadows. That's why we call it where nobody really sees it. And then we go down there. So I went down, I went to Buenos Aires to want to watch for airplane. And I told him, I was like, I like the way this guy looks on the camera. We're going. I literally booked a flight the next day. I went down there and he goes, you don't want to come watch me this club. I mean, it's in the ghetto. Right. And I get off the highway, running the car, getting off the highway, and there are policemen with bulletproof vests and saw the shotguns on the street that I'm driving down. And you know, it was a part of the stricken area. And we get into this dark gate and I go there to watch for him play.
