Kevin Hart Is Very Bad at Cheating

"A lot of shit going on in the last few days. Kevin Hart. If you guys wanna go ahead and believe that story, that he just walked away from that accident. And I know, I know he did walk away from the accident, but if you want to believe this story that that guy, his trainers friend, his friend is engaged to the trainer, boxer, man. I think perhaps this is a convenient relationship for Kevin's sake. I think he is such a serial cheater, Kevin Hart, and he's very bad at it. He always gets caught. He was in the backseat of a car and south beach, I think, a few years ago, and he got busted by radar doing the same shit, making out with a chick trying to get her up to his room. You shouldn't have to try to get anybody up to your room. When you're the number one comic in the world, you have to try to do anything? I didn't try to do anything as a fucking also ran cable post, I didn't have to try or persuade anybody to follow me. Maybe because I wasn't four foot 9. But the point is, Kevin Hart is very bad at cheating.

"And they're all i remember when i did it on someone once they can hug you. Can i come to smoke a cigarette. And i'm like no no. It's okay taken at home and do your man or woman or whoever your partner is because it's not gender specific works in every gender every sexual orientation. I love that and so folks can try some of these on their own kind of right now whether or not you purchase the book and or not but if you want to learn more and really dig into it definitely out sex in south beach. Shot your your book. Which walks you through it step by step a one day when you come to toronto you'll have to host that event here. I was already thinking. We don't have a world erotic museum here. A we do have other spaces that might be conducive to it. What really strikes me from that. Five cents approach. Is that when you tune into a. You can't be kind of in the pasture the future you're only in the presence so it really is grounding and mindful and even let's say lavender doesn't allows you. It's not that it's a direct path to like ice melt lavender. I'm soaking wet or i spelt lavender. My penis is hard or whatever it is. You know you see as arousal but while you're smelling lavender. You're kind of not doing anything else right like if you really tune into the sent. You can't be thinking about the pile of work. You can't be thinking about your kids in the next room. So grounding through the senses. I think can just be so valuable. So i love that exercise. I greatly appreciate that. It's only fifteen minutes because you know the idea of dedicating an entire evening or entire weekend or day is doable for some people but not for all of us and it's probably not doable on an ongoing basis. So this is something that you can commit to yourself to do once a week like is your relationship worth fifteen minutes of investment and it doesn't have to lead to sack but it it is unlikely to not lead to some sort of connection feelings of intimacy understanding at minimum feeling in the moment together which let's be honest like so many of us can go days without ever really feeling. In the moment. I know brandon when we get really social when we have tons of events going on. It's easy to just kind of move past one another. But if we were to take just a snip at from these exercises i think it would be really valuable. So thank you so much for that. folks you absolutely need to check out sex in south beach definitely follow along with with dr sunshine as work Check it out. We're gonna leave all of your notes. Do you have any last pieces of insight or advice for folks before we let you go. The last thing. I'm gonna say for some people fifteen was too long. Honestly it was too long so they got so turned onto one thing that we did which i never intended to do is we created a body. Body'll called fence aromatherapy body loyal and we used to actually sell it as a desire inducing thing because it was so potent but then mom started using it on their whole family..

His wife is blindfolded date night special and he's like i've never seen her shake like that and i'm like dude by a feather find one in the park by others so i do think so. Yes with doctors we do give them language and how to speak about these things and also remember doctors or people just like everybody else right so they're having a lot of times. They're embarrassment in the reluctant to talk about. It is because they're having some of the same challenges and their own life very few people we know were having sex life. They've always dreamed about because they're not listening to us. Twenty four hours a day. I wanna go back to this date night special. So what is it. walk us through it. Can people try it on their own tonight. The five senses. Oh yes so date nights special. It was pre- cove it and we are getting back now. "Get there and do that so i'm late for everything. Dan never on time for anything my life and my mother son so that means them easily twenty minutes late when i leave the house and stuff i was not laid that deck. A went to the restaurant. An hour advance sat. There picked out a seat where i could see every entrance. Even if he came in from saudi-owned stuff. If george carlin was coming in and i sat there waiting for a full hour is just me and the wait staff and at noon on the button he came in he was timely so he comes into the restaurant and i can't do justice because i'm not george and i'm not standing. But he walks in. he stops dead. I'm the only person the restaurant now's like. I know you are. Oh my god. I've been listening to you my whole life watching him my whole life. My dad passed me onto he goes. I get that a lot goes. Listen i wanna talk to you about the script dogmas. Cryptos do like he goes. I like very much. He's gone can't help. But think that i was a bit of an influence on it as oh you were and he goes can't help but think in some sections. I deserved co writing credit. That was like absolutely yours. Influential the gum. So he said to me. His wife just passed away goes. we'll look. I would love to do this. But i wanted to talk to you about this. Because there's something that weighs heavy s but as you know my wife just passed away was not just as wide as business partner. They built the george carlin brand together for years so his devastating loss for so I said i heard. I'm so sorry abs and he said well i'm just not ready to take off my wedding ring yet. And if i'm a play a cardinal. I noted church. They don't wear rings unless they're big fat. Rings that show up opulent wealth but knock marriage. She's gone so we come to. An impasse is gone by think. I have a solution. If you'll allow me as the character of cardinal glick. I will put a band aid round my wedding ring and so it'll just be a side story thing that cardinal glick is klutzy or whatever. I'll be wearing that band aid in the movie. If i'm wearing that way i can wear my ring route the movie if you could deal with that then i can happily be in this movie and i was like why i you be my father as beautiful as georgia where bandaids all over your whole body. That's such a beautiful sentiment. One that i'm in. So i got to work with heroes of my you. Just you gotta be willing to like. It's not about your career. It's not about like what's going to get you to the next level is like what's gonna fill your heart and soul and those two relationships men. I'm lucky that. I had the both of those gentlemen past and you know i went from fans dude. Who was literally friends with them. George carlin would call my house bro. Stan lee came over to my house. "Time on this. I'm influencing stuff like that. It aspires to be a fair recall yesterday historic events. And here you are on your. You're not being objective. And i happened to find you on the right side of truth but the way that you speak of race in this country is not in any way whitewash. You're speaking of it as the plane. Sort of same truth but with a degree of indignation behind. I'm surprised still to see you. Tell me as a thorough researcher of this stuff. I underestimated badly underestimated how bad the race problem was in this country and i was polarizing and left disney at least in part because i wouldn't shut up about race. Well i applaud you for that. That's the problem. I think everybody was like now. We're post racial. We don't have to talk about it but tell that to tamir rice's mommy's a twelve year old kid with a plastic gun cleveland park. Tell that the trayvon martin. It does just going for a jog in a florida suburb. Tell that to brianna taylor. Who's just sitting in her bedroom. You know and it's an oops wrong mistake. Tell to george. Floyd these are people that are murdered. None of us you know. I always thought that cova did the year. You know twenty twenty. It reminded us a little bit. We're able to have a little bit of a racial reckoning. Will now say it so often that it's not happening that be in large part because it was never a problem for us to go to the convenience store white people to convene now it was going to get sick. I'm going to get this disease. Am i going to die and all of a sudden if you had a brain in your head or more importance something beating in here you would say my goodness this has been an f. I mean mothers never knew in eighteen ninety whether their kid was gonna come home from school. You know alive. I mean this is what this is. This is a story and this is us as much of all the wonderful things that we've done in my films document those wonderful things that well. It's just really important that we are honest about what what's going on. It doesn't take as bob dylan. Said a weatherman. To tell you which way the wind is blowing. Did you underestimate it. As a thorough chronicler of facts gathered about what america's fabric is did. You can burn. Get surprised by how bad it is no now. I'm disappointed by what's been going on now. The sort of eating away. Roading of voting rights voter suppression stuff. The civil rights bill and and the voting rights bill of the mid sixties. "Telling us for thousands of years. That heroes aren't perfect. Achilles has his heel and his hubris to go along with his great fl great strengths. And so it's the negotiation. Sometimes the war between someone's inner strengths and weaknesses that defines heroism and of course defines a good story. So this is. This is a classic american story. This is a hero's journey a rags to riches story. It's the story of america's age old question of race. You know it's there's a moment. Dan really wonderful moment. When the supreme court exonerates him He's been convicted of avoiding the draft refusing induction and sentenced to five years. He loses three and a half years of the prime is his career. Supreme court unanimously on a technicality Let him go and somebody asked him a reporter. Six a mike and his face says what do you think about the system. And he says you know what. I don't know who's going to be assassinated tonight. I don't know who's going to suffer. Injustice or inequality and. So here's this guy who could be lauding his great victory and instead he looks back to three hundred and fifty years of the treatment of african americans on this continent thinking about emmett till whose open casket. He is a boy. Almost the same age as immaterial saw a deeply affected him all the way back to sixteen nineteen and then of course all the way forward to things he couldn't possibly know that we're yet to come like rodney king and trayvon martin and tamir rice and brianna taylor and george floyd and so he was speaking. Yeah okay so. I got it. But this doesn't mean the struggle is over and to have that kind of composure. And being still in your twenty s. I think or early thirties is just is just lunacy. It's lunacy because he was sixty years ahead of his time and we still don't have an athlete who can tackle this stuff with the facility. He did exactly right and people say well why aren't aren't the modern day athletes who are using their their position to social and they're very important is there's only i can only think of carlos and smith from his time who suffered the ultimate penalty for speaking out by raising their fists at the sixty eight olympics and then colin kaepernick. I mean you could say curt flood to because he was the first trial balloon against free agency. And that was it could by kurt and it would take a couple of guys to begin to make the process as happen but colin kaepernick suffers. So you know when people are doing standing up for things which is really important and people in sports shouldn't shut up and dribble. They should do whatever they they want to do. And say the things they're they're really important spokespeople out there. They're not putting it. On the line. In the way that mohammed ali he said face a firing squad and face a machine gun rather than go against my religious teaching which was to go fight in a war and you know that takes an extraordinary amount of courage well beyond what we see today and he is still teaching us today. That's what's so interesting. That he his like an intersect with all the major themes of the last half of the twentieth century. But he's intersecting with everything that's going on today good and bad. And he's speaking to and there's a wonderful shot towards the very end of the film of of young black woman in protest across the brooklyn bridge. And we we. Don't we consciously don't tell you what the protest is about is just a cut away from something that one of our commentators howard bryant is saying but she's wearing a teacher just a simple black t. shirt and it says mohammed ali on it as if that alone was enough to go pursue tests it muhammad ali do..

"Hello and welcome to south beach sessions. If you've been following this show for a while you know and have heard the business plan for eighty w had the biggest weekend ever. The sports story of the weekend was siham punk and tony. Kahn has been running that place. The way that vince mcmahon has run wrestling across several decades. So let's catch up with tony kahn. After the biggest wrestling weekend of his life tony in terms of everything you've experienced so far in wrestling. Where does this weekend to rank moving you and exceeding expectations and really the dream that you had here of actually challenging. The wwe seems like it got here a lot faster than i thought it was going to get here. I think this was our number one best weekend we've ever had. It was number one in so many metrics. We set our attendance record most bands. We've ever had at the united center on friday night for aid of rampage. For the debut of siham punk we broke every social metric. I heard from your good friends. I say sarcastically at. Espn that the traffic that they got was so beyond anything that anybody anticipated. It was in fact the most traffic on any social posts. They've had since may which includes the summer olympics in the nba finals. So the amount of interest in see him returning to wrestling and joining eight. W is unprecedented in the world wrestling. Really this year in the world of sports it huge for our company. It's huge for everyone who works here. It's you troll of our fans. But i would also say see him really great time and he was so happy to be back and i think that made it that much better for the fans to see how happy punk was to be back in the ring in chicago and the first dance which is a huge hip. Russ in every sense lord. What do you think happened there while it was unique There was a lot of hands up demand when you have one of the biggest stars in a sport who's been out of the sport for seven years that's going to build up a lot of demand and when he's still in physical prime still capable of having great matches and then there's a whole new generation of wrestlers that have come up while he's been out. There's always dream matches. People wanna see they never thought they were gonna see. We really snuck up on people with this in some ways now it was also the worst kept secret world intentionally because the idea was to create this buzz around. The event is siham pumpkin. Show up at the united center at the first day. What is the first dance. And so we built it through mystery and the idea by the time the show started. Is that all the fans would be ninety nine percent. Sure see 'em punk is going to be there but that one percent dow is what made it that much better than just advertising. It saying. That's what you're gonna get..

"It's it's stunning the fact that the relationship which you've chronicled so much on on this show about Him and management and how much. That has deteriorated. How much he feels failed. How much feels not communicated to merely resulted one of the greatest players of all time retiring on top while also not people probably dismiss that. Oh whatever you were fifty fifty. But clearly he was hurt the recall as well on the interceptions where he's knowing he seeing them in his head. He's like oh that's grant that's number forty two. He's he's replaying them in the head interceptions from seven years ago in one case sixteen years ago touchdowns from sixteen years ago random running backs ed one hundred yard games so then fumbles jerick williams. He had the details. You're looking at them up while he was while he was going and he had almost all of the details right on every single game also enjoyed the rare glimpse into not the arrogance but the supreme confidence which was when he was talking about well. I kind of helped revolutionize this position. The game is different now than when i started as a quarterback was super interested a bunch of touchdowns and not very many interceptions was rare. You saw a bunch of guys back. When i started filling double digit interceptions. Now every season. I looked at the intersection charts like highest twelve now. He's so right about that. I hearing him say you never hear that. Hearing him say 'i revolutionized the position. I changed the way the game was played because we're all now caretakers with the football. You enjoyed what we did this week. We got a good one for you next week. Ken burns the famed historian. Documentary will be on with us. And we ask you again. We've got some new listeners. "Hello and welcome to south beach sessions. You know if you've been listening to this show for a while. That one of my favorite athletes is aaron rodgers for a lot of different reasons but it starts with an admiration of the craftsmanship at the position and the learning. He's tried to do on this journey in public. So i like asking him questions outside of football and i know you wanna hear about his off season. It was eventful and it was dramatic. And i will ask him about it before the interview is over. But i'd like to ask him. And i think he comes on with us for extended periods. Because i like to ask him about life and things he has learned so he is now engaged to be married and the first question i have for him. And thank you for joining us. Aaron on south beach sessions. The first question. I have for you is what can you tell us you've learned about love. What has the path toward love. Been like for you. Yeah great start to that thank you so much and oh man i in most important is love yourself. After that everything comes easy and along the path. Where would you say that that got easiest or where was it. Hardest right because i imagine as you're becoming an adult and growing their spots where you identify with what you're doing professionally and perhaps you don't love yourself the way that you might have otherwise. Yeah that's a good point. I think a lot of it is just reconditioning You know kind of Shedding the conditioning of our youth recognizing patterns that we learned As young people You know some patterns were directly based on interactions with our parents or friends some patterns where survival in whatever environment. I'm talking about like maybe some. Some people probably violence situations or dangerous situations for others just survival of the day-to-day to day. Status quo and recognizing those patterns and trying to make a conscious changes to those in the moment To allow you to overcome Fears emotional trauma anything from your childhood. Still kind of impacts the way you see view and interact in the world that when did you start dissecting some of that stuff It's been a while. I've been working on those things. I think more recently as able to find kind of words for the process. I went through a a weekend With the hoffman institute. Which is you know has long been known for the last forty plus years as An institute that that helps you With childhood traumas emotional Issues kinda just loving yourself. Better and growing They have week long. Retreats they have shorter stuff and i took the two day this off season and and it was impactful and kind of gave me the words so i've been working on for a number of years now. What led you there. I think in general when covert hit in early twenty twenty and travel that i love doing slowed down. I started to just really dive into my other favorite passionate. That's learning and different subjects..

"This is how powerful this stuff is. That target was the new kid on the block when it came to retail and walmart obviously dominates that space target wanted to jump into the game and they couldn't figure out how to get into it because brand loyalties incredibly powerful people. Don't switch their brand loyalties very easily and that includes political parties as well and so target hired a company that using data they they realized that one of the only times that people switch their brands is when a woman is pregnant. Because you're kind of becoming a new person you're becoming a parent and people will switch their brands when they have a child so using search data target was able to pardon the pun or maybe embraced upon target consumers who were pregnant and hit them with advertisements to go to target will what ended up happening was the data was so precise they were targeting women who didn't even know they were pregnant yet but through their data searches the algorithms. Were able to determine that the women were pregnant and some of the women were complaining. Why do i keep getting these diaper at s- and then they will go. Oh never mind. And that's how target got a leg up. It's one of the ways. They got a leg up and became a major retail players. So this stuff is heavy duty. It's highly scientific. the military's used it years. It's military grade persuasion sciences. And that's what we've been blacked with. I mean the idea that we voted for donald trump for president. If you had said that thirty years ago it's without exaggeration. As crazy as voting for fred flintstone or like these nuts for president yet the people that it confidently did it. I had family members. Look me in the eye and which is like yes. I'm doing this. And i feel great about it. That's how strong this stuff is not unfortunately is what's happened to us. When it comes to the climate crisis a lot of money was spent to create doubt about this okay but every day you read not only is it hotter in this city in america than it's ever been but it's five degrees and six degrees hotter it's in-depth valley being recorded the hottest temperature we've ever seen on this planet like this stuff's not hidden at him but you read that. I mean there's a lot of people that don't have aren't reading those news sources. There's a lot of people in. I understand this when we've just been through incredibly traumatic two years. There's also a lot of people just don't want to deal with it that feel like they don't have the emotional ban with which i totally understand. I don't want to either She'd have people. Don't have the emotional bandwidth for this. After being pummeled with income inequality spree shootings the opioid epidemic. Essentially the collapse of the united states as we know it world democracies tumbling. And then you gotta deal with the livable atmosphere collapsing. Well you know. There's just a lot of people here in the second year at turn away And then there's just a ton of people aren't reading the news sources..

"Lebatardshow. Welcome to south beach sessions. Wanted to do sort of a one subject south beach session here with somebody that i find to be uncommonly informed on the subject of climate change in a way it feels like we all should be but people just run away when they hear that phrase. It just doesn't seem anymore today like when you read about german floods wiping out villages or chinese subways filling to the halfway point with water and just all the things that are happening in places on fire record. Heat all over the place It seems fairly obvious and overt that we have a earth threatening climate problem and from that space at mackay who likes to make cool things and does creative. Things decided to make something that might be a comedy and might not might be hard to classify like his last couple of movies because he just went somewhere for six weeks to write this movie and it came very quickly to him and now he's made a movie. "I wanna tell you who's coming on this week's episode is harvey mason junior and he has a very fascinating job. I'm a huge music fan. And this is one of the dream jobs. I would love in the world. He is been recently named the ceo of the recording academy that governs the grammy's and the grammies have obviously been embroiled in some controversy for lack of diversity among its voting bays and now harvey mason junior after fifteen months. Being the interim leader is now the black ceo of this sixty four year old organization. So what change is he going to bring about but as fascinating as his job is now. Obviously and i just wanted to introduce the audience to you a little bit by graphically so thank you for being with us but let's start there when and how did you decide that you were going to try and make a go of it a hard way as an artist as a writer that is not an easy way to make a living no non especially back when you get into the business they the first of may tell you jay school was if you think you're going to make any money in this business. Think again go down to speak men holland goal Go into the business though. Go into the mba program. So now i mean to me. I think that I always felt like. There really was anything else. So i had to make a go of it them and i'm glad that it that it's worked out the way that it has but it certainly has been a circuitous route. What were the challenges early on. Well i think that the first thing you know growing up in in boston and then going to school in philadelphia temple university the the first challenge obviously was trying to figure out where you fit right. I mean i think that's one of the biggest things that we also have go through. I didn't even have any intention of going into sports. I wanted to go into politics. All i wanted to. I can handle it pretty well. When i got one to two years with the max i started to figure it out Make sure you give them time regardless of what they're going to say. I didn't understand the you had this reputation that you came to the marlins with and i never saw that person. Yeah i don't that ness why mentioned i don't believe that one person in the media in new york and say that. I didn't give him time. I started by saying that's the one thing they can't say. Oh well bobby less after this. So bobby left after that. He didn't give us. You know a half an hour so that we know what happened that particular situation. I waited by my locker. You know because sometimes. I was asked questions even when i wasn't particularly maybe the star of that game but i knew if i left it can cause problems and that's just comes with experience and then once everybody the bdo started filtering out. Then i can shower leave and do everything. What do you regard as your single happiest year in professional baseball where you the things came together. The friendships everything. Miami Beach imposes emergency curfew as partiers overwhelm city

"Reporting a party ending curfew imposed after fights, gunfire, property destruction and dangerous stampedes broke out among huge crowds of people in Miami Beach could extend through the end of spring break. Any beach commissioner is voting unanimously Sunday to empower the city manager to extend the curfew in the South Beach Entertainment District until least April 12, effectively shutting down a spring break hot spot in one of the few states fully open during the pandemic. Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gilbert was on CNN today. Well, it feels in some ways like our city is a tender right now, you know where one of the few destinations open and so people are flocking here in huge numbers, you know, and it's not just about not wearing masks and physical distancing. It's also some of the folks that are coming are coming with bad intentions. Others Brawls and even gunplay. And when you have these levels of crowds you can't really manage unless you have enormous policing. And all that mixed creates a lot of peril and a lot of concern, and I do worry. I know all of my Colleagues in city government, and many of our residents are worried about it. So Mayor are you considering shutting down some businesses? What if you were to shut down bars for the next say three weeks? Well, last yesterday we had an emergency meeting and we way did just that in our entertainment area. We haven't eight p.m. curfew now. So it's closed out at eight p.m.. And that's what she saw. Where are police? Sort of trying to get folks off the streets? We've also by the way, taking the extreme step of closing down our causeways eastbound. After 10 p.m. at night just to stop the flow of people coming here, so all the local traffic and residents in hotel guests really will be able to come to the shore city, which is an island so it's you know, it doesn't feel Like there's there's real issues here of management. Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gilbert today on CNN. The police in Miami Beach say they've arrested now over 1000 people, including charging 350. With felonies.
