"And the next that's fine. maybe and then let your details Lester is let me see here is taking. trust me on that one. trust me on that one you see that up for today but by northwestern against Michigan state at home I saw it yeah. yeah I'm just telling you I test tells me that Pat this jail and the the the Wildcats did not do a good job today okay so have we seen enough from Illinois to this point where they are offense of Lee good enough to to compete with the team like Nebraska tonight's contest is a big batch of especially if you are on your quest the five you think they're they're they're good enough basically to match the court I don't think they are I think that you know you look at teams they average around the same points per game Nebraska average is around thirty six points per game average is around thirty five per game both defenses these are two pretty evenly matched teams when you look at the numbers based on who they played so far I'm depressed is beaten northern Illinois they lost to Colorado in three overtimes and then they'd be team early I don't even know what this university what is this USA south Alabama university of south Alabama so like we talked about with with big ten teams sharpening the tools before you get to conference play the rest is a better team they got better town they're not gonna be able to keep up tonight but don't don't. I'm not done yeah I mean right so this point this season the as sixty three completion percentages throw for six or eight seven yards nine touchdowns two interceptions quarterback rating of one fifty one I think lobby in the fighting Illini have an offense I think to look at university of walking to Champaign walk out well..

"Point one FM. It's morning news, six forty six sandy temperature of seventy four degrees. Hey, we got a call from a. An area up an area officer of the law and let me stop right here. And and add some information and just a general correction because you and I were kind of pondering aloud about traffic stops. And you know, why would somebody maybe initially pulled over about regarding insurance an officer call and say, you know, when they run a tag before even perhaps before they stop, you know, if they've caught a violation or or if they running a tag, they can find out insurance information lien, holders, and it cetera. So you know, if you don't have insurance, that's obviously a violation of of the law. So just FYI I and a lot of people didn't know that I did not know that until about two and a half minutes ago. So I learned something new, and so let me correct that right away that I'm glad that I keep my insurance. Because if if there is a if my tag happens to be run for whatever particular reason, they'll see. That I am Colonel my insurance. So all good. And I I am very grateful for those phone calls because if I were one hundred percent, right, then I wouldn't be here. I'd be over at the dog track or maybe at the roulette wheel. I dunno Dobkin. But anyway, I'm I'm grateful for that. Coming up. We got Robert Colombiano at seven fifteen talking about keeping armed militias out of the cities. He's a former secret service special agent in charge. Also, Senator Lamar Alexander from the great state of Tennessee. He'll join us and we're going to discuss a variety of issues. We're we're we will we will talk about the supreme court confirmation process. But we're also going to talk about a couple of pieces of legislation that he is helped get passed in the Senate one was passed by a margin of ninety nine to one. I didn't know they agreed on anything other than raising the deficit but the opioid crisis. We're gonna talk about that. We're also going to talk about because we are in Memphis in. We are a state where the in even a city with such a musical heritage. We're gonna talk about the right of songwriters getting getting another break here. We're gonna talk to him about that coming up at seven thirty four. So that's going to be right here on six hundred WABC. Ninety two point one FM and the iheartradio app. Don't forget tiger football coming up seven o'clock on Saturday nights. Pre-game will be at five from tiger lane. You can catch all the action. The Tigers are going to be taking on south Alabama. Now who is south Alabama where is south Alabama. University located. I'm not going to say where south Alabama is. I think we know where it is. It's in southern part of Alabama. But south Alabama is in mobile and. The. That can't be the worst place in the world to be on the to be on the Gulf Coast. That's for sure. But. They will be taking on. And I'm sure they're chant has got to be USA. They are the Jaguars by the way. Island arousal joins us this morning on Memphis morning, news secretary of the Kansas GOP. Thank you so much for joining us. How are you? Very good. Thank you. Thanks for having me. Absolutely. So this deadline has now been has been placed for Christine. Blazey forward to decide whether or not she's going to take up the invite of the Senate Judiciary committee to come talk about Brett Cavanaugh. Any guess on whether or not she's gonna take him up on this. You know, I doubt that she. Well at this point. I think what she wanted was a delay with the FBI investigation because the Democrats, you know, they had this information since July brought it at the eleventh hour, I think it's a delay tactic. And they're looking to to put off the confirmation hearings in hopes that the Republicans aren't in control after the midterms. And so I think if she's not given that she will not testify, and they've given her many different avenues to do that to your story out. So I think even unfair Republicans have been more than fair and giving her the opportunity to get out on her her story. But I believe that Mondays Monday's deadline is here. I just don't think she's going to do it based on what I think he original intention buys twice and FBI investigation to delay it for their. From what I've heard it seems like that's more of a local police issue, and I have not seen anywhere. And maybe you have I'm sure you're more. You're more in tune to this than than than I'm able to be. I haven't seen any thing about where a police report has even been filed in that area. Well, no. And there certainly wasn't at the time. So you they'll go back and file something over thirty five years later with no witnesses no address of the party. You know, I think that it would be difficult. Like what what would it be based on? What would be the information included? And the only other person who was allegedly there has no recollection of the events. So I think that would be difficult to do a police report on that. Now, where do you think your folks in Kansas in the Senate stand on on on this? What what we're gonna have Lamar Alexander on here next hour and pick his brain about this. But, but I mean, where do you think you're the folks in Kansas are sitting on this when it comes to the Senate, your your your two reps? I believe that they will absolutely confirmed China this this team and our candidate for Justice here. I mean, he is our nominee is exceptional, and it has nothing in its history other than this which just came out with all of the interviews all of the questioning nothing has ever come out to even put a blip on his character or his his morality. And I just think the aside from this allegation. There's been nothing to dissuade are senators from voting for him. I think he supports the constitution, which are senators support. And there would be no reason for them to vote for them to vote against him. And I I don't think they will Halonen thanks for carbon few moments force against a hard break. Hopefully, you won't be a stranger. We'll get to chat with you again, real real soon. That sounds excellent. Had a great day you.
