Is Selma Blair Unfairly Profiting Off Her MS?

"You see Dancing with the Stars. Oh my God. So sour Michelle gallard. Started crying because she watched Selma Blair's very energetic performance on Dancing with the Stars the other night, cameras caught her crying in the audience getting very emotional, we all know that Selma was diagnosed with MS back in 2018 and she wound the crowd to the goddamn cartwheel into a split during the jailhouse rock, excuse me. You have an S you can do a cartwheel into a split, now something something's wrong here. Something's off. You know, I know, I know soma. I consider a friend we've talked many times, et cetera. I haven't talked through it a while, but I was talking to the wall she was suffering this and I thought she was very brave to go through it that actually went through it. But this is getting ridiculous now. You know, Sarah Michelle galar is like, oh, I'm so happy for her. She kept a smile on her face the whole time. You know, to do this 25 years after we worked in a movie, it's just amazing. I can't believe how brave she is. Okay. And someone admitted that the rehearsals were extra hard on her this week. That's a challenging, you know? I've got my muscles have to rely on muscle memory now and my body can shift at any moment because of the MS and she was nervous about nailing the fast paced movements of the dance, but guys, I'm sorry, you know what? I said this from day one from day one I said she's not going to get to the end. She's going to get into the middle of the season and then they're going to go, you were great. You showed everybody that MS can be something you can defeat if you just have the right attitude and you just have the right thing. It's horseshit. Selma Blair is not being completely upfront and honest. I know she adds stem cell treatment. She had that docu drama, whatever it was, a year or two ago in which she talked about it. this is not really fair. She's getting treatment that other people with MS can't afford and she's, you know, kind of profiting from it. I've seen MS up close. You don't go from a cartwheel to a split if you've got multiple sclerosis for God's sake.

Dan Balz Explains What Biden's Low Approval Means for Democrats

"Joe Biden at 39% approval. What does that mean? Historically, in the first off year of a presidency, Dan balz. Well, historically, it means that his party is going to take a pretty big beating in the election. If you're that far under 50 historically, your party can suffer some significant losses. I would say two things about that, one is that I think we're in an era when presidents in general and politicians in general are more likely to be or as likely to be underwater with their approval rating as above water. We're just in a period in which people are sour about president. So I think you have to you have to keep that in mind. It doesn't negate the fact that he's well underwater. The second is that, you know, as the poll shows, this is an election in which they're kind of, you know, cross currents operating and there's no question that inflation is a dominant issue. Crime is an issue that the Republicans are trying to make a dominant issue. And all of that argues in favor of the Republicans, but the abortion issue, the Dobbs decision has clearly energized a part of the democratic base and so I think we're looking at election in which figuring out exactly who's going to turn out, it may be a little bit trickier.

"sours" Discussed on Business Wars Daily

"From wondery, I'm David Brown and this is business wars daily on this August 19th happy Friday one and all. We tell you a lot about success on this show, but as you know, failure is a big part of business. So today, a story about a company that's hanging on for dear life in a space that's getting more and more crowded. The companies called house and the industry, direct to consumer alcohol. Unlike mattresses eyeglasses and meal kits, booze you can buy online and have delivered to your door, took a little longer to come on the scene. That's due to some pesky old restrictions when it comes to shipping alcohol in the mail. But thanks to a few creative legal loopholes and even some changes in state laws. Direct to consumer alcohol was starting to sound like a good business move back around 2019. But for House, a startup that sells aperitif good is probably not how they describe the past few weeks. Earlier this month houses CEO and cofounder Helena price hambrecht announced that the company's series a funding had fallen through and that it was in the process of shutting down. House had a lot going for it. Its drinks have a lower alcohol by volume than the hard stuff, and fun flavors like strawberry basil and grapefruit, jalapeno, drew in younger millennials and gen zers, and its DTC model made it easy for a whole new generation to partake in the wine club field beloved by their parents. But what house didn't have was funding. In lieu of the filing for bankruptcy, the company has entered a 30 day voluntary period in which a financial firm will evaluate its assets and seek a new owner according to Bon Appetit. Assets may be liquidated to pay off debt. Beverage producer Constellation Brands, the name behind drinks like Corona light and Pacifico, had committed to leading houses $10 million series a round, but seemingly without a reason other than timing, according to house CEO hambrecht, constellation pulled out of the deal. House was left without a significant source of funding. And we certainly wouldn't blame hambrecht for feeling a bit sour about it all. But as she told Bon Appetit hambrecht is proud of what she built and is committed to expanding the landscape for drinks with a low alcohol by volume. She says the market is hungry. Thirsty, you might say, for companies like hers, but how simply got quote unlucky. Another DTC alcohol company that perhaps got a bit luckier. That would be empathy wines. That brand sells high quality wine at lower prices that only working with grape farmers not wholesalers and retailers could make possible. Back in 2020, empathy was bought by, yeah, it's a small world Constellation Brands, perhaps you've heard of them. Well, they lauded its ecommerce prowess in high end products. While the story of empathy wines appears to have a happier ending than houses. It doesn't look like the direct to consumer alcohol industry is slowing down any.

James Howard Kunstler: 'Politically, I Was Never a Lefty'

"I was never a lefty, really. And I had my first encounter with politics in a strange way when I was a college student, I ran for student government president as a joke. When I was a sophomore, and I won the election. And all of a sudden, I was in this position in 1968, 69, 68 and 69, which was the height of the Vietnam War. And also the height of the beginning of the hippie, the hippie age going sour, because that would be the summer of Charlie Manson and elephant. And Woodstock, which was not altogether bad, but had some elements that weren't so appetizing. And so hippy DOM was kind of going south. And I was tussling with student radicals who were making my life miserable in this job I had. And what college? I was a SUNY college. It was one of the four year liberal arts college. But you wilderness of upstate New York. You saw clear enough to where the radicals were, you could see that they were. What I saw was that they were despots. Even in 1964, despots. They were trotskyites. They were despots. They wanted to basically tell march you around and tell you what to do. And I could see that very clearly. And it's been coming on for the next 55 years.

'The Dumbest Generation Grows Up' With Professor Mark Bauerlein

"Your book is titled the dumbest generation grows up from stupefied youth to dangerous adults. So what do you mean by the dumbest generation? Well, that refers to the millennials. Born in the early 80s up to, say, year 2000. And I wrote this previous book, the dumbest generation in 2008, and the thesis there was, hey everybody, this web two is taking off. And we are letting teenagers lead the way on social media on texting, the handheld devices, all the tools of participation and chatting and Instagram and YouTube, which whose media whose motto was broadcast yourself. And we're letting teenagers dive into these screens surrounding themselves in youth culture, peer pressure, adolescence, and the mentors are not trying to compensate for that by insisting you learn religion, you learn history, you learn politics, you read some great literature, good books, civics, geography, they're just letting them go and that this is going to be a horrible intellectual spiritual and emotional formation for young people. Now we're 15 years later, and we all heard about how amazing the millennials were. How are they doing now? They're in middle age, millennials are in a sour mood. Anxieties up, depression is up suicide rates are up. They have sort of a vindictive sense of their fellow Americans. They have high levels of social mistrust. And when they see what they think is an injustice going on, even a micro aggression, they want to see that that culprit punished. That's why millennials lead the way on cancel culture in America and I saw you last week speak eloquently about cancel culture that this is really a demonic trend in American life. I fully agree with you on that. But the millennials feel quite righteous, indignation. They will sign a petition with 2000 others to get someone fired.

Dr. Eggerichs: Respect to Your Son Is a Positive Regard to His Spirit

"At the top level, when a mom is supplying that sun with that respect, what is being achieved? How is that response? What does it look like? Well, I define it as a positive regard toward the spirit of your boy. When you're spitting mad at him, and one of the things that I want mothers to know is not to move into shame as they're listening to this because mothers immediately begin to think of those moments where they've stepped over line. And I want them just to relax here. This is just an insight. In addition to your love, I want you to think about some vocabulary words that can soften him, especially when you're trying to get through to him. But in terms of the question you're asking, it's a positive regard toward his spirit. See, the gestures of contempt that the University of Washington study that females manifest, her eyes darken, face turned sour, hand on the hip, scolding thinker, the sigh, the role of the eyes, the head goes back, and when estrogen kicks in, the word choice of contempt is incredible. Women will fight with words. Okay, but I say to, you know, do you speak disrespectfully to your husband? Yes, but he should know I didn't mean it. I will stop mid sentence. He should know I didn't, and in unison, all the women say, mean it. I didn't mean it. And mothers don't mean it toward their boys. But the way in which that boy is filtering that is imam is using this topic to send me a message that she doesn't like who I am, she doesn't respect who I am, and she finds me unacceptable. And I can give an illustration between how a mother would confront her teen daughter one night and the next night confront her teen son in the very same way and show you why there is a huge difference

"You're going into next season with Kyrie Irving still in the available for road games. So like there's this whole other question. James Harden decide of what is your future. And the reason I so let's bring us back to Ben Simmons. If you think you can rely on Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant as your foundation, right? That you still have to elite scores, elite individual scores who can get you out of any jam who can drop 35 or 40 without even blinking. You don't need another James Harden level score. But having been Simmons to anchor your defense and defense has been an issue for them and is obviously an elite playmaker as well. Like I think I would rather have assuming best case scenarios of Durant and Kyrie available and healthy, I think I'd rather have Ben Simmons as the third piece than James Harden. Get a defensive minded guy, playmaker, on paper, it makes some sense, but these are weird times now in Brooklyn with everything kind of going on around them. All right, I want to finish in Detroit. I don't want to talk about Jeremy grant for a second there. I think he's one of the most interesting guys available in on the trade market and a guy who can be a difference maker on several teams. When Jeremy grant is a proven 20 point per game score, a versatile defender, a winning type of guy. He's got one year left on his contract with the piston, so any acquiring team would have him for at least one more season. Maybe they can work on an extension with him in the off season to keep him around for even longer. The question with Detroit is like, do you auction him off before February 10th? Like Jeremy grant doesn't really fit into what the 6 are doing right now. They are building around cade Cunningham. They will have likely another top three pick in this upcoming draft that they can build around as well. Now you can always trade grant in the off season. You can even trade them middle of next season, but given the number of teams, I think they're gonna be poking around at our poking around Detroit. Right now calling Troy weaver trying to take the temperature of the pistons. It might be a strike while the iron is hot opportunity because, you know, Jeremy grant, like I said, I do believe he can be a difference maker for a championship contending team, like pick team X, like put Jeremy grant on Philadelphia, and he makes them a lot better. Put Jeremy grant, it's been discussed AD nauseam, but the Lakers. He makes them a lot better. Like he's got that kind of game and that kind of skill set that can make whatever team that acquires him considerably better..

"But the jazz, I don't think they're a contender, but if something were to happen to the sons of the warriors along the way, could the jazz make the final? Sure. The sixers are in that same position, right? The nets at full strength are obviously immortality team. The bucks at full strength are a better team. The heat at full strength, I think are probably a better team. And the sixers you can not ever say they're at full strength until they either have been someone's back, which won't happen or trade them for something to make them whole. So there's the sixers, they're not a contender when everybody's at full strength. But they're one of those teams that's good enough that something breaks their way. They could get to the finals. I'm not saying that's gonna happen this season. I'm not saying that you should approach the season that way. I do think though, that the same principle holds now that has the whole time and you've heard me say this before. If you trade Ben Simmons right now for pennies on the dollar or for just a bunch of role players and some distant pics or whatever, you're still not making the finals probably. You're still not winning a championship probably. You're still have burned a year of M beads prime when he's playing like an MVP, but it's because of the situation that I would say the sixers did not create. Ben Simmons decided to shut it down for whatever reason. His feelings got hurt. Ben Simmons stance is I don't think rational or defensible. The sixers, that's the hand they got dealt. They got to deal with it, and certainly that's on Daryl morey and his in the ownership group and everybody else to fix. But if you trade him now and don't get fair value, and then this summer suddenly James Harden becomes available and you don't have the means to get him in a signing trade because you sent Ben Simmons out for a bunch of role players or dame Lillard becomes available or Bradley Beal becomes available and you have sent out your best trade ship already.

"Like it's gotta be him that saves the Lakers. I'm not sure you can do it, but it's gotta be him. Yeah, and listen, functionally, there's still this concern where Anthony Davis at center will give them their best defensive lineups for sure and their most, I think, versatile lineups when it comes to switching and just being able to respectably guard anybody. So that part's fine. On the offensive side though, Westbrook is a non shooter and Anthony Davis, though we think of him as this versatile new age big man, this season he's shooting 18% from three. 18% as in one 8. That's that's a wild number. That's a wild number. So you have two non shooters on the floor if defenses aren't going to respect Anthony Davis three point shot. Now there's never been a great three point shooter that has always been a misnomer, but he's been a decent three point shooter in the past and it effective one and he certainly was in the bubble. But if he's shooting 18% from three in Russia shooting 20 whatever percent he's probably shooting from three haven't looked it up recently, you have two non shooters. And you know, well, Davis still is a market upgrade from Dwight Howard and Deandre Jordan is still creating spacing issues. And so they still have that's still a difficulty for them to try to overcome. Unless Anthony Davis can raise that. And maybe you know what, maybe maybe that was the aberration. It was a very, you know, fairly small sample size before he went down, you know, there was at least a track record to suggest that Anthony Davis can be a much more effective three point shooter than he's been. And obviously, you know, look, that would boost them quite a bit as well. Yeah. Well, welcome back Anthony Davis on Thursday, you get to try to bang with Joel embiid for a certain number of minutes in that sixers game. On Friday, you can run up and down, get back into shape, chasing the hornets around down in Charlotte. So he's coming back at a time when the Lakers, they're walking right into the teeth of the schedule. And as much as anything that I'm looking forward towards in the second half of the season Howard, I'm looking forward to seeing what Anthony Davis has in him. And if he could pull the Lakers audience by becoming the old Anthony Davis. All right, let's talk about whatever's going on in Brooklyn right now. It's been interesting week when it comes to reporting on James Harden and the Brooklyn Nets earlier this week you had or I guess over the weekend you had the athletic reporting that the sixers were going to or planning on holding on to Ben Simmons through the trade deadline to take a swing at acquiring James Harden presumably be via some kind of sign and trade or whatever mechanics you need to make a deal like that work. I'm not exactly certain. That was followed up by bleacher report saying James Harden's not all that happy in Brooklyn. That isn't like living in Berkeley which I'm sure you didn't want to hear Howard as a brooklynite yourself. And I was going to personally offended. Personally offended by that..

"sours" Discussed on The Crossover NBA Show with Chris Mannix

"It's a lot to put on Anthony Davis. A quick review. They have had 15 games so far with LeBron Russ and Anthony Davis together. They went 8 and 7 in those games. They've played 291 minutes. They're a plus 22 in those minutes or plus 3.6 points per 100 possessions. That's okay. I mean, it's not dominant. You don't get a big three together, you know, assemble three superstars to be plus 36 plus 3.6 per 100. But look, if there's going to be any saving this season, if it does have to start with Anthony Davis being back, being healthy, being the hub of an elite defense that they have yet to reestablish. And look, the less Dwight Howard Deandre Jordan, whatever else that center, the better. And I was looking this earlier. I think Anthony Davis before he went down was playing like 70 or 75% of his minutes at center anyway. So, but that is, you know, they're best lineups are going to be Anthony Davis at center. And so they should be better defensively overall with him back there. They should be obviously more potent offensively with him. But he's not going to fix the rest of what has ailed them, right? Like Anthony Davis can not make Russell Westbrook a better shooter. So or more discipline shooter. And he's not going to make Russell better defender even though he can help erase some of Russ's mistakes or indifference. And he's not going to magically fix the rest of the roster where the Lakers just have too many old guys and not enough wing defenders and yada yada. So they'll be better better enough that remains to be seen. We haven't even had enough of a sample size. I don't think to fairly judge what a fully functioning Lakers team can do. But I think we've seen enough to be skeptical clearly. Oh, look, this is not to your point, a conquering hero returning to the Lakers rotation. To add to some of the numbers you threw out there. The Lakers, when Davis went down, were 16 and 14. There were 6 seat at that time in the Western Conference. And at that time, they had the league's easiest schedule. So they were 16 and 14 with the NBA's easiest schedule at that point. They were 20th and net rating. Tenth in defensive rating and 24th in offensive brand to move it a little further towards Davis, his points per 36 minutes are the lowest he's averaged since he turned 20 years old all the way back in his early seasons in New Orleans. So he's not playing well this year. He's three point numbers have been abysmal, but that's. That's a different conversation. So him coming back is no guarantee that the Lakers turn it on over the remaining games on this east coast road trip and somehow start to put together the kind of run that makes you believe they are a legitimate title contender in the Western Conference..

"And Howard back. It's a whole new level for you and me, Chris. This relationship. Like and subscribe for the best weekly NBA content. These two are capable of. What does that mean? Could be the best duo ever. I don't see how you can beat that. Here they are. Chris mannix, and Howard back. Welcome back, crossover, NBA podcast, Chris Maddox, and Howard Beck, what's happening back? You know, I'm just trying to calm myself down from all the excitement about the new format for the rising stars challenge at all star weekend. I was gonna ask you about that. The new format that will include four players from the G league ignite as the NBA tries to incentivize young players to sign with the ignite facing competition. I don't know, like every time I see some tweaked to the All-Star Game, I just kind of shrug it. The All-Star Game is what it is. Like it's not going anywhere because the ratings are still too good for a network like ESPN or Turner to want to walk away from it. It's also not going to measurably improve because you add incentives to it. It's just not. You're going to get in the game itself, you're going to get three and a half quarters of really bad basketball, and if the game's close at the end, you'll have guys step up and try to win it. But there's really nothing that's going to change any of that. No. And the same goes for the rising stars challenge what we used to call The Rookie sophomore game, which is on Friday night and all star Friday night is. You know, dismal to sometimes remotely possibly slightly entertaining. I mean, the celebrity game, the rising stars game. I don't mind the NBA innovating on something like this because Friday night in particular is not a must watch event. The Sunday game will always get its share of viewers and Saturday night certainly because you never know what year you might get a spectacular dunk contest, Aaron Gordon versus Zach lavine kind of thing, but that's once every four or 5 years and then the other years tend to be duds. But, you know, the showcase of all star weekend kind of sells itself. I think for guys like you and I have just seen way too many of these, it's all a little old hat. So I don't mind. Like I don't mind the NBA messing with, especially The Rookie sophomore game, which every few years they try to do something. You might as well. And bringing the G league guys, I don't know if it does much for the fans. It certainly does to your point, raise the profile of those G league ignite players, which, yes, is an extra incentive for them to go to the G league instead of over time elite or somewhere else. So, you know, maybe I'll watch this time. I can't remember the last time I turned on the Friday night all star stuff. I haven't either. One thing I campaigned on for years now as a way to make all star weekend better is to eliminate the skills challenge and make a king of the court contest because if there's one thing that can get NBA players motivated to participate, it's the title of being the best one on one player in the league. I mean, this is a one on one league hour where everything eventually devolves to isolation at the end of games and you want to be known as the best one on one player. You're never gonna get LeBron in a dunk contest or really any high profile guys in a dunk contest anymore..

You Are Living Through a Political Realignment

"Politics. You are living through a political realignment. So Gallup does these polls every quarter about United States political affiliation. Do you lean or do you identify with Republicans or Democrats? So one year ago, in the first quarter of 2021, 49% of Americans that were polled say they more identified, they sympathize more with Democrats than with Republicans. 40% Republicans, 49% Democrats. Let me say that again. 49% Democrats, 40% Republicans. That's one year ago. In the second quarter of 2021, Republicans were at 43% and Democrats did not move they were still at 49%. That's probably because some Republicans might have been a little sour about January 6th or kind of what happened. How we lost the Georgia Senate runoffs and they were done, but they came back home and we saw that in a variety of different types of numbers. But Democrats did not lose any support from the first quarter of 2021 to the second quarter of 2021. 49 Democrats, 43 Republicans. In the third quarter of 2021, of last year, all of a sudden we saw a tightening that was almost inexplicable. We saw Democrats go sharply down from 49% of Americans that strongly identify or lean identify or strongly identify as Democrats to 45 and 44 Republicans. So starts the year at 49 40 Democrats in the lead, and then by the third quarter it's 45 44. And how did it end up? Well, the last poll that was conducted at the end of this last year, by the way, the sample size for these. Are 12,000 randomly sampled U.S. adults. And this information that's data correlates perfectly. It fits seamlessly into the approval rating data of Joe Biden. Now, this article was published today, January 17th. How is it now? Today, 47% of Americans identify with Republicans, 42% with

"So I'm holding in my baby Brown libertarian fingers and article from political. Politico was started by people that left The Washington Post. You can't get a job at The Washington Post unless you're liberal, so it's also a center left publication. I'm not quite sure it's as bad as the Atlantic, but it's probably in the same in the same neighborhood. It's written by a woman named Rebecca bodenheimer and the headline is how school closures made me question my progressive politics. Yesterday we talked about this woman Angie Schmidt from the Atlantic, why I soured on the Democrats went over that. This one is another person who says I've been left leaning all my life. Huge left. Sub headline, I've never felt more alienated from the Liberal Democrat circles. Did I usually call home? And it's all about how the school shut down, and as a result, her son began to lose ground.

Very prominent been around for a very long time. And I was struck by an article written by a woman named Angie Schmidt. Headline why I soured on the Democrats. Sub headline, COVID school policy set me adrift from my tribe. Let me just read you part of it. She writes until recently I was a little Democrat. Left leaning Democrat. That's redundant. She said I've been adult, left leaning Democrat all my life. She said she was the kind of partisan who hated Donald Trump so much that quote I struggled to be civil to the relatives on the other side of the aisle. Then she said, but because of what my family has gone through during this pandemic, I don't feel the same way. She said

"sours" Discussed on Cannabis School

"Being what fifteen sixteen seventeen years from trying cannabis. I don't know i mean you. You went in with just using flour right both times. When i first started i started with flour the second time. Here's later. I got into it with flour as well. And it wasn't until maybe an here to into using cannabis again that i started seeing pens dispensaries. And that's when. I started trying pen seeing that new introduction to new products as they come out there so i mean i i gave my feeling on that one. What do you feel. The best way is to be able to consume salaries. First thing in the morning. I would recommend the packs. Three look like it's like a is like a cylinder. It's like a square of cinnamon in square type. Look it's like a a square but with rounded edges. So it's it's not a hard square. It's oh yeah like a soft square marshmallow marsh. Well i mean. I'm very visual. So i'm just like okay that yeah i've seen him. It's pretty cool as the have you ever seen dave chapelle the vape pen that he has in his hand. It looks like that. yeah okay. so they're pretty small. You can carry it in your pocket and its handy. Basically just bakes that flower at temperature. That doesn't ignites. He don't get the same carcinogens as if you're going to smoke it so would you recommend it for somebody who's getting into flour to start with that instead of going to piper on. Yeah it was pretty soft from one of understanding. Yeah i it's a totally different feeling as well because it is weird baking it you have more of an edible feeling. Really just a mild. That's what so what. What could i expect on a price for something like ducks. Three i think is around two fifty just kind of give you two to fifty just kind of give you a little bit of guidance on that one especially if you're looking into getting into flour over there and sour diesel. Sounds like your jam. Then definitely i would. I would recommend that. I've only heard good things. Come from you i mean. We've tried several different types of devices and and methods and being able to consume cannabis. So what would you say your number two on that. I mean being a sativa being morning strain like that with coffee. It's really hard to pass up a poplar bubbler. Just a hand held waterpipe basically okay so it looks like a hand blown pipe small and it's got like a like a fat bottom on it and it's flat on the bottom but it looks like bulbous thing underneath the pie. The where you load all your has a little reservoir in there for water. Yeah those are. Those are pretty cool. I like those. That's actually like when you'd introduce more flour to me That's the first thing i use. I've tried other pipes over there very rough but that has always been like way nice. That's a cool one in go to mine is going to be. It's either a vape I would say the teen drivers by far my favorite just the long lasting feel. I feel more relaxed. But i also feel more engaged so when i'm asked questions i'm focusing more on it. Also i'm not thinking about. I don't get the mind fog that i can with the with an indika because an indika i'd be like going off on random things so yeah it year definitely being able to feel a little bit more on a sour diesel because of that reason alone but yet it'd be teacher. Innovate haven't tried a whole lot of edibles that i really enjoy Sativa is there is one from weill. They do the fruit ones over there when i was in california for a while great product. Great super soft delicious but it hit pretty hard okay. The hot like Teach no not at all like almost zero it. It just tastes like a really delicious homemade fruit snack. What milligram or those twenty. Wow that's impressive and no flavor none whatsoever. Just super soft I think the only thing that i would caution on that one as delicious and you will eat more than one. That's my problem. Is when i make edibles and i'm like oh. This chocolate is so good. But i don't want to see because i know after you wake me up in a couple of days so yeah okay so those ones year go to those remind go to. I definitely think that you know for those who are looking into a sativa strain. I feel this is one of the most mild of the ones that you can get involved with. It's definitely if you're going to go in the flower direction. That's great just be prepared for pungent smells if you're not really cool with that one. Even the vape pens. I smell it and i tasted. It's got a very bitter taste to it and by bitter. I don't mean like salty. I'm thinking more on the lines. Of like if i actually licht a tire that kinda tastes like that to me. I don't know if you've had this experience. I don't remember the last sour diesel pen that i've had. I've never tried to notable of sour diesel. Like we've talked about before with edibles and we'll do a whole thing on edibles and different ways that they may come in and Ways that you can see that are a little bit better product but Yeah definitely i just never never experienced. That's all. I'm thinking that went for for those who are looking to get into a new strain of cannabis or getting into the cannabis at all. I would recommend this. One is really soft entry. What do you think it's a great daily use great introduction awesome. Well hey guys again. Like i said look in the show notes you can see over there. The packs that brandon was talking about also find like a butler that similar to his as well. So you could be able to see that. Just know that. I mean if you're out there Being able to get in there use responsibly. Definitely but also Seek the advice of a bud tender or very close friend. Who's involved in cannabis appreciate you guys joining with us and Looking forward to being able to see guys next. Tuesday have yourself a wonderful week. Yeah have a great week..

Seven five Pretty close to be in what i would say is i'd order second one but i'm just not quite there. I'm a split the gap here. I'm going seven six on this Yeah i mean. I echo everything that you say there. There's just nothing about that. Beer that stands out nothing necessarily incredibly wrong with it but nothing push it over the not very memorable. "I think a lot of the fast food places and we kind of saw this before everything happened but you know. See fast food places. Go to more automation. Where it's you know clicks screen ordering and you won't be at the counter anymore. You'll see you know. Mcdonald's places like and bring my very well could be an out. You know we laugh. I've seen videos of where they're testing things like that. Where i think it was a bar in somewhere in europe that had a robot with the drinks on top. It went to the bar. The bartender put the drinks and the head of the robot which is essentially a serving tray and wheeled out to the to the table and you grabbed your drink off the tree. That's so yeah. I've seen the same thing with Delivery drivers and things like that where they're starting to come up with automated vehicles for like pizza delivery. Think you the ads for domino's and stuff like that. So yeah there's a they're starting to go away from a lot of the people and move towards more automation. And i think that just makes more p- jobs available for people you know running the industry with out the automation in fact to the point of trying to lure more people. I think you're gonna see a lot of the bigger chains start off offering more benefits than some point to where you know normally in this industry. There's not a lot of places you go. That offer i thought out on the back is not good enough for every. But i think you'll see you know more insurance options you'll see you know. 401k options you'll see things like that from the places that can afford to do that and that'll just make it harder for some small guys. Yeah well staff shortages in the hospitality. World It's definitely problem. We'll probably continue to linger and if you're looking for a job. Maybe entry level easy drinkers there. You know there's people who maybe aren't craft beer lovers. They can still go to peculiar and still finds something that they like to drink there. "Dinner pairings. So like DOC said Sour Beers are once again kind of broad spectrum of of styles and flavors but as a general rule. I think you know sour funky kind of well together so funky cheeses blue cheeses goat cheeses some of your stronger flavored cheese. That's that Kinda gives that little kick you know. Cured meats is another good option Bam Bam on. It's worked really well so salty fatty fatty meats. That are kind of cured. And and Shark hootie boards. And I don't know how many charcuterie boards have spam on them but that might be something to look into. Let's start a restaurant that's all I'm going to serve with spam not a bad idea spamming. Velveeta right there we Asher Board I. I feel we will keep our overhead way. We're ordering. Hey we just gotta get your distributor online. I've Got Ninety. I need or spam and Velveeta mccamley straight cheese. Now that's underrated chains right there. I love this breaking story for another time marry contract. You're sorry jed great pairings. Yeah but again I think then you look at some of the different styles in you. Know there's a Belgian styles which go great with with muscles which is which is a Belgian national dish kind of a great pub dish in Belgium If you're looking into you know. Lambreks and Belgian waffles tend to be a great pairing whether it's a desert or you're having breakfast beer. Tanner and was amazed that we brought in beer into breakfast. The only guy ever have is on a Saturday morning after Friday. Night was a little rough and get a little red in it so why lamps tend to have a little fruit perfectly in quarantine to stay at home. I. It's a breakfast dinner. You never know love a beer album. Might not be you know but then again there's there's so many styles you look at Berliner Vice. You know why not. Just go with Pretzel and mustard. Like you're right there in Berlin Go says tend to go great with light seafood with a little bit of lemon on it. So you know fish and chips or you know just something with a squeeze lemon over the top so again. It's really broad spectrum so kind of look towards where the beers coming from so what region of the world or country you know. There's a lot of Americans hours and and kind of parrot with what's what's local so you know if it's a a sour from the Pacific northwest maybe look at some salmon. You know something like that clams or some clams or something so you know I. It just kind of depends on what our comes from two in this. We had fruit beers last week. A lot of sours tend to have fruit in them as well as your that probably ties back to whatever fruit you. Have you know you could stay in line with that? Sheri's our we've got some raspberries hours out here too so maybe that's the way to two beers with Sour Beers as a sauce to does. Does this does this dish need a little bit of acid? So I'm going to lean to something that's got a little more vinegar flavor. Do I want to contrast that? And Go with something creamy and heavy dessert to kind of counterbalance the the The sourness of the beer right and there is a beer who was a sour beer. That I had down at Reiko cannot for the life of me remember what it was but I think it was almost twelve percent as a darker duchess. Yes yes yes and that was one that I would think. Probably you know heavier darker but still have that little bit of dark fruit in it. I mean I would that chocolate cake with that so it is. I mean you could go from like is raspberry sour here to to that the duchess and there's so many different. There's a lot of Sour Beers that she just uses a pallet cleanser so and traditional French cuisine. A Lotta Times a fruit sorbet. They came through in the middle of the meal. We think in America we think Sarbaz more ice cream and kind of desert but a lot of times. It came in the middle of the meal. Just tend to cleanse your pallet and clear it for the next set of courses come through so a lot of Sour Beers. You can look at it that way as well. Yeah well good information guys. I appreciate the insight on on the history and chat. Maybe next week. We'll try and make it a little bit easier on you but I doubt it. I DOUBT IF WE'RE GONNA keep you sharp man motto. Keep a sharp laser focus from Chad. Young over there and we'll try to pair it with spam no matter what it is. Yeah I like it. I like it was just the official Bruce Doc. Now that'll do it here for the history and the beer and food pairings will get out early. Because I think there's something special coming up next my clock's little off. Maybe we'll talk about it. I don't know what's coming up next. We'll be back though here on. Knbr talk on thirteen ten K. Whole sports story in northern Colorado state in the country tune into the whole show weekdays noon to two and thirteen ten. Kfi wondering the Camp K. Classics if you're hearing about that we've got a fun one coming up on. Friday. I don't know why they selected this. I had nothing to do with him. Director anything to do with US but October thirtieth from twenty fifteen. The the great quarterback out of Platte Valley leads his team to an epic win over the Sterling Tigers for the Patriot league title. We later on went on and Losses State Championship. But we don't talk about that but you can if you want to hear me. Four Chad is I've signed a couple of things for him and he's got this owl. So if you WANNA if you WANNA relive one of my finest moments you can tune in six o'clock on Friday fight. We were going to finally get through a day where I didn't hear about former allstate quarterback swim. Thank you for. I forgot about that. I forgot that I was all state. Thanks for bringing that up. Well I got to do you have the time chance. Just checking it. Looks like four Beer thirty it is beer thirty and very excited about beer. Thirty here presented by the tavern. Say Mike a score. Of course we've got Sour Beers that we are going to dive into. If you're new to beer thirty how dare you first of all? But secondly eight in above is Bruce. Doc approved anything else. Don't bring that stuff in our house. No no no. We don't want anything under eight and so we'll dive into that. This first beer brought to you by on the rocks liquor when they're saw dave again They've got the drive through rock and right now now's the time to get in there. Call ahead say hey. Here's what I want even. If you say I just want to local beer. They'll bring a couple of options. Therefore you hit the drive through and you're on your way so right off of highway. Thirty four on forty seventh avenue right right across from Buffalo Wild Wings if you Do Stop By. Please tell them that you heard about them right here on talk and go and get one of these first beers because We may we may have snuck a couple of drinks at this before we got here in a beer thirty but this is the ten barrel brewing company crush Raspberry Sour. This is six and a half percent. So it's a little bit on that higher side but really cheap beer so far so let's open it up to the table for some initial thoughts once. Not once for for a fruity flavored. Beer that you don't like sours I likes hours attended. Shy away from the fruit flavors But this is actually pretty good. Good Raspberry Flavor reminded me a lot of when we were in high school. There was a New York. Seltzer Seltzer water with a little bit of fruit flavor in use in highschool school. They weren't alcohol-free cut that Colin. He drank it. He drinks altars. That's all that's all taken away from. That is at Chad. Ucla figures ago anyhow. Sorry there is put Kinda brings back memories of kind of some of those flavors so it has the sour tinge that you might expect off of like a raspberry knee high or something like that. And it's it's actually quite crushable. I think it's aptly named yeah. I agree and the thing that I like about this what. I like about the style documentary. How Complex of a style? That this is so when you have a one of these beers everything is the lineup. I mean what it looks like the smell. You get all the way to the finish for me. Needs to in line because if you throw one thing out of whack for me on our beards it's like no pets that's a no go for me so I liked it. This beer is that it's complex but it's uniform and its complexity if that sense and that might have been the smartest thing I've ever said about a beer ever cut that for the next Promo to But I look I liked this beer's not overly it's not gonNA make you're not gonNa make your cheeks pucker but it's got A. It's a little bit of that. Maybe it's GonNa water a little bit more. If you get that little bit little bit on which makes you want to drink more of it and I like this beer so any other final thoughts or should we jump into some ratings here. No I'm good parading. Chan. Let's start with you. Great Starter Beer for the for the beer thirty. I'm going to go with an eight. I'm going to do exactly the same. This is a good starter. Crushable beer it's For me a little bit too. One dimensional but okay still quite good and It's got the right amount of sour in it down. I'M GONNA go eight point three seven here really like this beer. And that was the first number that popped into my head as well because I I definitely would rate this over an eight and I don't WanNa be. We'll be boring with just normally guys come on. Now let's get crazy with some of these numbers but that does it brutal approved I there. Sour sweet very good beer. So you can pick that up on the rocks liquor. They also do have the ten barrel brewing crush cucumbers. Our which we elected to go against here so we got the raspberry sour and we're going to go with that but you can get that on the rocks liquor this next one is one from one of my favorite. Sour Burris to that After the F. Actually was when I got introduced to him was the crooked stave and they. They produced some great beer. Yeah this one is Crooked staves sour rose to wild Ale fermented in oak with raspberries and blueberries. I looked on the can and missed the four four point. Five percent five. Yeah so not terribly over the top right and for me. It pours beautifully. Has this wonderful foamy head. It has kind of a a much clearer than the beer. We just got done with. I was going to say that..

"Best. Unc bears target game coverage on thirteen. Ten K F K back into Brew Talk. Thanks for joining us on this Wednesday night. Glad to be with you. Six twenty two time and we are talking Sour Beers tonight. Last week we got a chance to talk to our brew hop stop a Dan the owner of Mighty River Brewing Company and we had a very very good ip from him last night. Yes it was. He happened to be drinking the same one on the phone with us to. We didn't even that it'd there. It's just something about us. I think we just they people know what we're GONNA do. Maybe we're predictable but excited to get over there to mighty river when things are starting to relax a little bit and I know they've got delivery options right now to you can go in and still pick up your four packs and and still get their beards at sixty three eighty three north fairgrounds. It's in in Windsor But think over by the Budweiser Events Center just north of the Budweiser Events Center. There the official Burri of power to play sports power play. is a great sponsor here at KFC to really really good people. And that's where we always meet when we have our business meetings over at Mighty River so if you would check them out let them know you heard about him right here on Brew Talk Radio. One thing that I noticed we were just talking about some of the what we've been doing. You know cooking on the grill a lot more and the weather's been providing that it was eight o'clock last night and looked out on my. It's still light out. It's it's like no. It's that's normally it's well. It's kind of a bummer. Too is that it's not even like sinking in that. We're that close to summer and how things are going but it it it is lifting my spirits a little bit knowing that the weather's nicer outside and so I do agree. You know we had that last week. It was snowing program and and I think I've changed my tune. I think I like the the nicer weather better. Because you can go out and still go for the walk and open the windows and you can do stuff around the house you can just go hang out and have a beer outside and not have to cover it so that doesn't get in it to our bike ride yesterday so nice yeah. I've never been so caught up on laundry. I don't think that and I don't have a dirty dish in my house right now. So and I've been cooking way more to this stuff is rug dishes in this this virus turning them into a better person. I quite frankly better homemaker I quite frankly don't like it at all. I think this virus needs going just for that reason. Yeah it's been it's been affecting everybody but we are. We're finding away and we're managing but let's get to speaking of that. Speaking of staying home more more Americans are buying beer. That's I mean. I don't think I even need to quote a study. I don't think I need a quote anything and everything. That was pretty common sense. They're also buying more weed and all of the vices are coming out if you want to go through the list of all of that era and TV watching everything goes out. Whatever else you. Yeah so sweatpants. Usage is going up as well but with that being said with the increased consumption of beer. Local breweries are still hurting. And for a large reason in my and I want to just open this up for discussion here but the main reason I would like to say and I would attest he was that some of these local burris some of the smaller ones. That don't have canning first of all so they're not reaching as many liquor stores but also like I mentioned in the last segment. Is that a lot of these local liquor. Stores didn't have a ton of craft beer options because still the large majority of people are going to be your bud. Light your drinkers. What what do you think if he's let's just put a hypothetical out there? You're in charge of the marketing for the whole craft beer industry. Not JUST ONE. Berea the whole craft beer industry. What are you pushing right now? Well that's a good question. The the most important thing is buy local support people and and you know keep the places in business. So that when we're out of this tunnel and back into the light they'll be there to welcome us in with arms open Rather than have them have to shut down and wait until they can open back up. If they can't even open up for me I would just say that the most important thing to do is just help drive the local market and by local and have been hearing a lot of that and and that's been a resounding effort. I think on all fronts from everybody that I talked to you. Know he got right now more than ever but then I mean the the other side of that which is this vital. This virus is a virus. A double edged sword is that people have less money to spend right now too because they are because of the layout through and so. That's that's a very difficult situation hidden. Unfortunately for in that situation when you buy local at some of the smaller breweries it tends to be a little bit more than your your large Brewery Beers. So yeah I think that has a lot to play into it. I had so I stopped by liquor store the other day and I actually got the the ninety nine peaches I went and found it and got it and they did not have a pack of it by the way they had just they had some single so I got the rest of the singles. Anyhow I'm looking at it and that was something that stood out to me it was you know and look. I've been blessed. I still have my job but still okay and I was like you know what I bought some level nail works I got their Raspberry Sour Ayla. Also oh it was delicious. There's one left and I I really contemplated bring it in for you guys but I was like. I'll save that related. I'm sorry it was selfish about that. I know I know I know. Dogs bringing in spam sandwiches. I bring one frigging beer in for him but we So I I did. I got the love works and then I got a six pack. Does something else? I think it was a national brand of of sider Actually and the price difference was ridiculous. But even though I've been been looking at always been buying at least something local whether it's a six pack okay I'll get a six pack of this drink those and then you know then if it's if it's a major company then I'll switch over to that or something like that. But even that balance I think is important to people to you. Don't have to buy exclusively local. We get it that you gotta do what you can do. Because you're also supporting the liquor store owner. Yeah sure so that. That makes a big difference too. Yeah I think the biggest problem you might still be pushing the same amount of beer through cans but I mean how much does Four packers six pack costs. You know fifteen dollars that would be four to six beers. Four to six years in a glass at the microbrewery is going to cost you. More than ten to fifteen bright right and so and that's because the margin is a lot smaller. Ana Can than it is on a glass were paying for the atmosphere and stuff like that. Too So yeah. So there's there's some economic problems as well even though they're pushing the same amount of beer. Yeah they got to sell all of it and do it often. We'll on that brings back to the social aspect of drinking too right and in knowing that more people. Are you know it's one of those? I mean you see the videos making fun of it. Is The guy calling his wife saying to go to the bargain? No it's not gonna be like last time. And then he has one he gets one more one more for. Everybody needs starts. The I mean you know you can go home and you can have two beers and then pretty soon. You're snore and watching the news you know. And so that aspect factors into it too But the one thing that I would I would push and I know that there are a there are some breweries that are doing this but gift cards are huge right now and I've seen some that you can call an open tab for when things do open back up you'll have a tab sitting there waiting for you and so that's another way that that's kind of creative to go about supporting somebody two don't merge. Zil gone all the the shirts and jackets and hats and stuff like that that were just now needing as we're getting out into the backyard and enjoying the beautiful weather and I will say gift. Cards are great way to support berries in restaurants. And all that but please please please don't win. Everything opens up. Go and use your entire gift card and not give any income for that month with the Gift Cards that you've purchased well if you do use the gift cards still tip well and everytime along like that because I do know people that are oh you won't tip as much with Carter or whatever the case is but it's look this is something that has impacted everybody absolutely everybody. And there's not one person that I've talked to this. I said you know the closest thing that has been impacted which has been crazy to me as insurance agencies that are still able to do a lot of their business remotely but it's So just that's from my vantage point of dealing with a lot of different clients and local businesses but Anyways where I was going with this is that It it has impacted anybody so do what you can without putting yourself in danger fiscal danger support what you can and and we're going to find a way to get through this but keep in mind top of mind awareness. That's why we we do in the show. That's why we're passionate. We're all passionate about beer here. We're all passionate about northern Colorado and we're passionate about supporting each other and the way to do that right now is to buy local buy local by local and that's how we're going to see our friends come through on the other side of this. We'RE NOT. We're not just passionate about beer. We're passionate about the beer scene. Yeah we love going out and meeting people and interacting with other people and getting getting to know your neighbor kind of thing and we're all I think kind of anxious for that to start hearing stories behind the the certain beer that is brewed. What the inspiration was Abreu that beer? What where the name came from. Yeah this is my favorite question to ask breeze so if they were questioned ask business owners. But it's my favorite question to ask. Breweries is when did you fall in love with beer? And when did you know you wanted to make that your profession because there always seems to be that one lightbulb moment where just goes off? And they're like pretty damn good at this and I think I can do this. And they chase their dream and they're passionate the breweries that make it. Are the ones that that when they talk about face lights up? It's the guy that absolutely you can tell when it's somebody's passionate. Yeah rather than just. And that's not just with brewers that's with almost every business right right and that's that's absolutely the case but some of these breweries this. That was kind of the thing when I started getting a no the beer scene in northern Colorado and and getting to know the craft beer industry as a whole. I asked that question almost everybody. And and there's a lot of varying answers but it seems like brewers and Uri owners. A Lotta Times are the most passion behind it. Because they that's their baby that's their product. If you don't like that I mean it's you're taking it personally. I mean. They are the mastermind from it from the beginning to the end of it. And so that's the part of it too like you were saying and like we've been saying that social interaction with talking to that berea owner and running into them and saying. Hey man this is great one one. Afc If you look at it calling. A beer brewers baby is not far off because is actually kind of living thing. Isn't it now? I mean the the yeast and the fermentation process and beer is kind of alive so creating this living organism that you have a passion about and.

"Hundred percent. I showed up today and dinner. What he's like I got dinner. Don't worry about it and I was like what is it. He wouldn't tell me wouldn't tell me I unfold and what is it but a spam sandwich fried spam sandwich. This is the first time I've ever tried spam. It was amazing. It was very good. Actually I was I was. I was thinking credit for my Wife helped tremendously. So I have to say it's paring very well with this smear we're drinking. I kind of thought so too at INOVA is way off on that but it does go really can actually. We didn't plan that at all. It's just we're we're just on that same page we've got This'll be one of our beer thirty beers too. But we were sneaking a couple of drinks in here Before but It's the ten barrel crush raspberry sour. Got This from on the rocks liquor earlier today. They also have the cucumbers. Which I believe we've done we've never had it before. Yeah Yeah I didn't feel like tonight. And they were giving me a hard time for that really GonNa pick raspberry over Cucumber Mike. I think I have to thank you for that data. I'm like this isn't weird beer. Show if I remember correctly. I don't think we were all that fun. I grew talk approved if memory serves me correctly. Cucumber is great in a salad but keep it out of my beer. I think but I think we're a little past due for maybe a random beer like crazier segment. Maybe maybe we need to be getting back into those we've had some. We had some weird ones for sure but Excited to be with you tonight. We're going to be talking about some more news stories as we continue to update and provide updates on the Kobe. Nineteen situation how local breweries are handling the situation? How they're going about it Which how you can get beer. Because there's a lot of people that are delivering Beers There's of course Today ably was the release of Howl at the Moon Down at least there was a little delay delay. There is a little bit of a problem getting some of their yeast. Okay so I think they From what I remember that it's gotten been pushed back till Friday. Okay pushed back till Friday. Just a few days to get the fermentation in there. Yeah well we talked about that last week. So that'll happen though when he brune bearhug. Oh yeah it always does Nothing ever goes exactly as you plan it to and You just have to be flexible enough to make it work. Anybody that's been shopping recently. No understands that. Sometimes you go to the store and they just don't have what you want so like toilet paper still tomorrow. I've got my delude. I've got my pickup set for between six. Am and seventy tomorrow. Is that right. And I'm hoping the toilet paper makes it to the order. So did you call in. Or how did you? Did you got the little APP on. My phone is a King Super Super Out. So that's how I'm doing it. And they were able to click until the paper that you weren't able to order it on. I think it's There are still some things like hand. Sanitizer the CLOROX WIPES K. Some of those things are in store. Purchase only Buddy Open toilet paper backup to the public limit. One six pack person. Well you know you click on the brand you want and you know it's kind of a no pun intended crapshoot whether you get whatever you get. I mean if it's at one play out well boils down to. I've got the one planet at the tavern. Thanks that's not being used but I think my wife would appreciate. We got something a little nicer than the one saw. It doesn't bother me right but yeah there is so we had a client a great class still on the station. Syrupy four by four truck outfitters. They started selling RV toilet paper and they wanted to do an entire ad campaign focused around me and me becoming the king of wipe. He wanted to buy a billboard. No this this was a legitimate. This is a legitimate conversation. I had with the boys down. It's part of that was that I got a free pack of toilet paper and it's still it's one play. Rv Toilet paper that you know. I've still got it in my office just in case and I hope it doesn't have to resort to that but like instantly. I remember as like that's still in my office. I'm going to be okay for for a couple of extra roles. I hope it's your smiling face on the billboards and yes it was gonna be with a crown. Wipe up there. So Yeah no sorry pretty miscommunication on that but you so I did. I did the click as well for King Zuber's last week and I said it for. Why just did it? On Tuesday night and the earliest pickup. They had was Friday at seven PM and the first time I did it was it was like and I was like well. This is about to be the craziest Friday night. I've had a couple of weeks and I win and it was actually. It was perfect. I drove up. There is nobody there. the the people brought it bringing it out ahead masks on one of them. Recognize me that I didn't know who it was still don't know who was so. I'm sorry they oriented. I don't know who you are but Data name tag now. But they did a great job with it. Got Almost everything besides tombstone pizza. That was the one thing that they didn't have any frozen pizza. And the first time I did it It was kind of a crap. Shoot on I got about fifty percent. Awadhi ordered yeah which you know I expected some of it. The produce produce stuff and right and things like that but this time I was like you said a few days out time. I just thought well before I go to the store and try to get all this stuff. I'll just see what they've seen what they've got and they happen to have one the next day. Perfect early in the morning. So we'll get everything we want. We just go to the store and We're just constantly looking choosing different times of the day to go in case one of those times is better than the other and you and so far so good. The only thing that we've been able to find I think one time I managed to grab a pack of toilet paper so metalwork. You know that's all it takes. Yeah I mean there's tons of meat and vegetables and all that other kind of stuff so it's not like you have a problem feeding yourself. I was all ready to go to the grocery store The only problem is my wife's been going over her folks Both are have compromised. Immune systems her mother's going through some cancer treatment her father. Copd so we're trying to limit our exposure as much as I can. So you know I can do the click list and not actually have to go into the stores. A smart idea to limit her exposure for me You know I think that worked out best for US absolutely. Yeah and I know a lot of people have a lot of stories like that and and again as we started on unroll things we still gotta take. Some of those precautions has has a you know so I've been hosting Noko now every morning from nine to ten and and really I've been focusing on the information. I'm telling these guys before we got on air here is that. I think I've watched more press conferences in the last month than I think I ever have. In my life and just gathering as much information as possible and there there is a way that we can come. Outta the safe and we can get things start rolling a little bit more but we all have to take those Necessary it's not just like hey test okay. You're good and go on I. It's gotTa Take. Its planned out step process so that we will get back to things and we can start to save some of these local businesses whether it's the restaurants whether it's the Burris What whatever the case is the light at the end of the tunnel is there and we just have to keep the train on the tracks for a little bit longer. So hopefully we'll be having conversations around You know whether it's at Mighty River brewing are Bruh hop stop or or syntax where our next brew hop stop playing whatever it is. That's where we're hoping to be here sooner rather than later and looking forward to it because I know it's great having a having a couple of Beers here in the studio always love it but really excited to be able to go out and visit one of these local places again. Rub elbows with people. Yeah do you do that at the dealing? No but I WANNA rebel. I can face to face and a lot of people are missing that the beer scenes very social in the one of the major draws do. I think and yeah and that's about that it's tough and I know that a lot of I mean they're still getting creative with it or whether they're they're delivering beers or I've actually noticed liquor. Stores are getting a wider selection of local beers and in local distilleries to. This is fantastic. You know why did it take this for that to happen? Yeah yeah it. It's been great to see and and checking in on those there. Every time I go to the liquor store gotta get something local whether whatever it is I mean. There's the only thing do everything wineries do. We have any local wineries around your loved ones. Got One parks got a couple. Yeah that was the thing that I hadn't meter metering metering and then western slope is where most of the Colorado wineries right and. There's some great ones out there. Yeah well I've been trying to do my best to every time that I've been going there make sure picking up something local and actually got got the girlfriend and the room drink drinking like I said they're drinking some craft beer local so many zoom happy hours. Yeah recently and honestly. They're kind of a lot of fun. We did one last Saturday where we did a We did a bar crawl so we set and I think maybe you posted something. Yeah put a beer in each then. We had a drink in each room. And when we finish that drink we moved on to the next room and and That's the way to do it. We thought it was gonNA last about an hour. We ended up on the zoom call for about four hours and had a blast. So I think there's actually I think so Kinney's great friend of the station and Reiner. I saw something on. They were telling me about it. I think there's actually going tonight so I hope they have chamber have virtual happy. Jared the brutal playing in the background right now and cheers to them. Because we're having a beer to we can't be there but it happened to be Ryan Roth that I had that happy hour with the bar. Crawl on Saturday so People are getting innovative because we are creatures of habit and we're We're social creatures fun. That's that's awesome. Well we will get into some beer news and we'll get into we'll talk anymore spam or redone with spam for awhile. I think we're done with spam for ever done with spam. I don't know it's all right. We'll be done okay. Thanks Chad I appreciate that. Come back on the side. We'll start to dive into some beer news. No Spam News. But we'll dive into some Beer News Spaghetti.
