"All right, so let's move on to is it pronounced sonoda? Yeah. So sonoda is the company you founded. That's right. And you come under high recommendation with Jeff booth and when Jeff booth goes in touch and says, you need to take a look at something like I'm all ears. So tell us about sonoda. Okay, so no to basically we exist to create an energy abundant future. And how we're getting there is actually solving the problems that we've been talking about around markets. And it's basically providing the energy industry, the opportunity to decentralize the settlement process. And so when I say settlements, what I'm really talking about is the financial part of every energy transaction. So when you and me consume energy in our home, there's two parts to this transaction. One is I have energy delivered to me. The second part of that transaction is actually pay for the energy. Now, what is happens today is that the means for paying for energy are really kind of stuck in the days of the 50s and 60s when energy companies used to be vertically integrated. So when people used to walk neighborhoods, read the meters, go back to the office, put the information into the billing system. You get the Bill 30 days later, you're paying that Bill. That's hardly changed in 50 years. We're still largely doing that. So we're paying for something that we've consumed one month ago, two months ago. So what we exist to do is to really cut all of that out. And so we're creating a programmatic link between the energy system itself and the lightning network. So you can imagine the visual I like to paint is if you go into the control room of any utility, what you're going to see is all the physical nodes of the energy system sort of on the big board. You're going to have the points of energy production, the points of consumption, and all of these sort of nodes, the substations, et cetera, in between. They're all represented there. So now imagine the lightning network being very similar to the energy system itself and how it moves money. Where every physical node now has its own node in the lightning network. And when energy moves in one direction, money moves in the other. So you're basically what we're creating as a system where money can move as fast as energy. So no longer do we have to wait on the build to come or anything like that. Now we can have really this full dynamic system that's perfectly linked together. Right, you're going to have to break that down a bit more. Yeah. Okay. So talk to me as a real world use case. We're in my house now. This is not my house, but this is my house now. I've got a meter up on the wall. I can turn my electricity on my gas on as I want to need it. I can put my cooker on start cooking some beans for my beans on toast. I can boil a kettle or I can have like the TV on. How does this work? Because at the moment, what happens is, like you say, I get a bill. I didn't even, by the way, I didn't even know that's a month or two months later.

"So it's very rare that is decision gets brought to me because it's usually pretty clear and only if it's gray, do I have to get involved essentially. And I think this is important because I think it's just going to you'll have analyst coverage. You'll have easy media access for our executives and other people involved in the company to be able to be on national TV all the time talking about Bitcoin. You'll be able to have stockholders that own a piece of a Bitcoin only company around the world. This just doesn't exist. Even people in the mining space, you've seen what's happened as these miners have gotten wrecked. It's very possible that Bitcoin mining is not particularly well suited for public markets. It's very possible that it should just be kind of like rev share deals for private companies where everybody makes money in a bull market, but you don't get overextended and take on all this debt. In the bull markets. So that might be kind of what happens with miners over time. We'll see. But regardless, there's never been like a consumer focused Bitcoin only public company, obviously. It's cool, man. What's the timeline on that? I mean, I think our timing is I think we'll be ready in two to three years and as long as there's IPOs happening and that if the window is open and it's possible, then that's when I think we can hit it. Hell yeah. So like 2025. I was just going to end here. What about Bitcoin is striking you this week this month? Like what about the protocol, the network? What's top of mind? For you, as we close out here. I guess I am, you know, honestly, I'm really excited to see some of these burgeoning use cases for lightning. It's super early and I don't expect Bitcoin as a medium of exchange to take off until the second half of the decade basically when the much larger cohort of people that had conviction and bought in size in 2016, 1718, have been holding long enough to experience some upside. There needs to be another solid bull run, but at some point when people have 95 to 99% of their net worth in Bitcoin, those people really desire to spend. You can't jam this through from the supply side, like it has to be the demand side to really desire to pay in Bitcoin that will really make payments take off and you'll see venture scale returns and all those kinds of things. That said, what we're seeing is some tinkering that is starting to show some indication that there are some things that Bitcoin can do that regular money. So it's beyond just spending. It's because Bitcoin actually can be streaming payments and because there can be micro payments and some of these things. I just think there's some interesting tinkering going on. With companies like Vita and sonoda impervious, Zion, you know, I'm just kind of keeping an eye on some of those and obviously I cut checks into a lot of these companies since I focus so much on Bitcoin in its store of value stage in Bitcoin the asset was swan. I like to keep an eye on everything that's going on with the next stage of Bitcoin that I think is maybe 5 years away by cutting checks into these lightning companies. Very cool. "It seems like that's an issue that's going to affect more than just sonoda, right? Like moving forward, it seems to me that when you have these dynamics or you have one way payments, you're going to have this lightning channel liquidity thing. So this is something that you guys have thought deeper about Paul and Bobby is are there solutions to this that are being worked on or? Yeah, this is huge for us. And right now we don't have a, we're not super happy with the solves that we've been able to offer so far. So this is something where we're actually just started kind of like a research team at voltage. And this is part of what we're looking into is how do we make this easier for merchants or for consumers? There's also some problems with liquidity in both directions, both getting outbound, getting inbound, and that was something I hadn't really thought about very much because if you think about from a node runner's perspective, it's nice to have these balanced channels, 'cause that means payments could flow like either direction, you know, so you can earn these go in both ways. You know, if you have a drain, a channel that probably means like you're done routing in that direction. "To me. I mean, you would think that, you know, there's a risk of that kind of stuff disappearing in transit. Me sound crazy and far fetched to people from western nations, but I mean, I suspect that kind of stuff goes on a lot in a lot of countries. Yeah, definitely, yeah, especially in Latin America, yeah. I used to be the case with El Salvador too. Like I knew people from El Salvador and they or even people in Cuba, which is crazy yet. There were services in Miami that allowed people to ship stuff to their families there and they would receive it and it would be like clothes and chewing gum and like you know like necessities like shampoo and deodorant and stuff like that. I really want that somehow because I just every time I see Louis hunting down, he's just on the prowl man. It's so cool to watch him do stuff like this where he has overtake after overtake after overtake. And one thing that really did help Lewis Hamilton early on was a safety car that brought the pack together. He got a good start, got up up in the field a little bit. And then Yuki sonoda crashed into land stroll. Yuki cenote was way too aggressive, taking the inside on a turn that really wasn't his. By the way, there were two DNFs in this race land stroll did not finish neither did Daniel Ricciardo. But when the safety car happened because of Yuki sonoda, max was way out in front, had a big gap and was way in the lead. And the safety car slowed him down and now would Lewis have still passed max mini.

But then for karen horner then come out and just blame sonoda for For for stop and not being on pole at the point at the end of the first sector verstappen was two point seven tenths of hamilton's time and then they had the goal to blame a third-sector incident on stop not being on pole when he was to caused back from the incident and we said he backed out of it but he said he was.
