"Again. Let's just listen to it. I'm in favor of execution. Maybe maybe our entire team needs to be executed after tonight. Yes, he He came there, and that's what he wanted. He wanted to deliver that line. It's all he wanted to do is you want to deliver the line and he wanted to make it funny, and somebody probably said, Hey, you remember that John McKay quote you wanted to use all those years ago? Go ahead and use that That would be this would be a good time to use it. Or maybe you just thought it oh of himself, But you know, man, get over it just Absolutely get over coming up here in about 15 minutes. We're going to talk to someone who have on the show a lot. Here's a, uh, here's a psychologist psychologist. I called him a psychiatrist once, but I was I was wrong. He is a clinical forensic psychologist, Dr John humor. CEO of Trips Center. And he has been a mental health professional for many, many years. You know, a lot of people are having trouble. Dealing with the pandemic. Maybe you are, I don't know. I mean, it's it's here. I don't think it's ever going to go away. Certainly not in my lifetime. Just I think there'll be one on top of the other on top of the other, and we're just going to have to deal with it. But anyway Ketamine is a drug. And something. This drug that is used to treat depression could help relieve some of the mental health burden caused by the pandemic. We'll get into that with Dr John Coming up here in just about 10 minutes. The Reds lost yesterday and they lost the series to the Detroit Tigers. And they are now a half game out of the second wild card spot. I watched the game yesterday they did not have good at bats. The pitching has been okay in that series. Not great, but okay and good enough to win if there was some sort of offense that they could deliver, but Now they go to Chicago. Their at Chicago for three and then ST Louis for three. This is rather monument monumental Road trip. Chicago is a team that toyed with the Reds last week. Now they go to Chicago. And then after that, they go to ST Louis. They've got the Dodgers for three here in Cincinnati in the later in this month, and they've got four with the Washington Nationals here in this in our bar ballpark here at the end of this month. And then a couple with the White Sox. As it stands right now, there are half game back in the wild card race. And they've got the Phillies on their heels there, too, and I have back of that second wild card spot, and the Cardinals are three back. And there are those who think In fact, I had Hal McCoy on my show yesterday talking about it. There are those who think the Cardinals are the team that the Reds really ought to be wary of not necessarily the Padres. Or the Phillies, but the Cardinals, but right now, the Reds are a half game out of first place. Of the second wild card spot, and they go to Chicago for three and then to ST Louis for free that three now what people are thinking? That what the Reds really have going for them is that they have nine left with the Pirates. And although they've beaten the Pirates nine times out of 10 so far this year, and we know that Pittsburgh is not very good. Everybody thought that Detroit would be an easy mark. It didn't turn out that way. But there's no question if you've got the guys that are chasing you in ST Louis coming up soon. And you have the team that you're going to face. If you make that second wild card spot in Los Angeles coming to town later on this month, you've got to look at those nine games against Pittsburgh and say, okay, This is make or break. It's not like the schedule that the Padres have left or anybody else in that National League West Division. But you've got to look at these nine games with the pirates that are coming up and say, that's where we're gonna win this thing. That's where we're going to win this thing. And then you want to win. And not only just qualified for the playoffs with that second wild card. You want to do it soon enough so you can set your pitching for the for the wild card game. Remember, it's only one game and we remember what happened. Back in 2013. So you want to win and get enough turf behind you so that last week of the season, you're not scrambling on the second to last or the last day. Of the regular season, trying to win a game and get into the playoffs. Because, you know, I think Well, you got to look at that one game wild card, and you got to say Okay, Well, who am I going to start? And if I if I start that guy, let's just say it's Sonny Gray. I don't think it will be sunny gray. But let's just say it, Sonny Gray and and he gets a couple of he gets a couple of innings in, and it's not working for Sonny. And you've got to have another starting pitcher that you're going to bring in. Maybe that's Wade Miley. Maybe that's Luis Castillo. Maybe Castillo starts and Miley comes in behind him. The point being Is you're going, You want to be in a position where you can rest some of those players. As its leading up to the playoffs. You got to get in, of course, And if you've got to do all of those things to get in in the final game of the season, then of course you do them, But ideally. You really don't want to half To be scrambling to win. On the final day of the season. So these are big games coming up. The Reds did not did not look all that well against the Cubs a couple of weeks ago. They go.

I mean, you've got a career 11 whip or so and keeps the ball in the ballpark to doesn't give up a lot of home runs. I mean against lefties in writings. He's pretty much locked Everybody down. He's only given up one earned run, I think in 11 innings at this point and Um, you no matter the situation, and he's also come in in a couple of spots where Piquet has brought him in to face a lefty, maybe with two outs in an inning, and I think just about every time he's been able to get that out, you know, so he only faces one batter, and then with the three batter minimum rule, you can you can end an inning and then get taken out, and I think that's a pretty valuable thing. I've got a grocery store observation. And we'll do a topic gone. Brandon Phillips. I will explain it a bit. But let's do the Bengals because I am envisioning something coming up on June the 19th like a rally, a pilgrimage. It is titled Jungle to the Hall, June 19th in Canton, Ohio. For more on that. Let's go to the man who's in charge of such a vision. That would be Bengal. Jim Foster. How are you, Lance? Life is good, brother. How you doing? I am Well, I love this idea. I need you to explain if you could to my listeners what This idea is all about. Yes, sir. Lance, you know, 50 plus years of our franchise are Cincinnati Bengals. There's one player in the Hall of Fame. Anthony minions deserve deservedly so, but we feel that there's eight other players that their legacy should be protected in the Hall of Fame. Lance and those players. I'll name him off there. Corey Dillon, Chad Johnson. Max Montoya. Lamar Perish Isaac Curtis, Really the man Anderson for sure. And then the last two was a main focus for us up in Canton on June 18th. Or we can Anderson and Ken Riley can rally obviously passed away late last year. They can write. Ken Anderson is the oldest living member of that Super Bowl 16 teams, So we're simply we having an event tent on the ground, the hall of Fame right next to the front door, almost the whole thing. Where we've got several 100 Bengal fans from across the country from Florida, New Jersey, upstate New York all over the country. Coming up and just show our support. Just a rally behind our guys. The senior voters the nine senior voters for that senior positions to two spots this year, they're voting on work open. It's Ken Riley and Kenny Anderson. And we're gonna do our part to supplement what Jeff hops in the Cincinnati Bengals were doing working really hard on. Getting are legends in the Hall of Fame, and we're just gonna show our support up there that day for for being a legend. Jim. What is the itinerary of the day? What's going to take place? Well, so at 4123 o'clock, it's a free event eyes. The rally. We're gonna have several 100 Bengal fans a free event. We were like everybody the artist BP to that insect check her social media pages like We have got all kinds of stuff planned. Looks like anything. The moon Joo's right now is formulating plans to be there. Willie Anderson doing the same thing. We have video. From Michael straight hand, uh, telling us why he thinks Willie Anderson should be in the Hall of Fame. We just posted it. We just posted a video a few days ago of Melbourne, the ex Pittsburgh Steeler Hall of Famer pounding table for Ken Riley. Why he thinks he should be in the hospital. Then Wiley, the second will be there. Virtually Max, my toy will be there. Virtually Lamar in Paris will probably be there virtually were still Unlike some of the other detail on this, But it is amazing the support and how big this thing has gotten in a very short period of time, Lance Jim is is the Hall of Fame. Aware you're coming, Dude, are they are all right, E And I do. Are they sanctioning this? Are they OK with this or are you like breaking in? What is happening? Very clear for clarity thing for everybody listening right now, Lady, This is not stormed the capital. This is This is no. The Hall of Fame has been outstanding, Lance. They have been gone out of their way to help us set this event up. We're literally running that the event from the Hall of Fame. They have been outstanding work with there. Going out of the way for us. So the the rally is from 1 to 3 o'clock, a lot of fun. We're gonna have their then three o'clock and 3 30. They have set up a special Anthony minions display that weekend for us. They have also set up from three and 3 30, a special theater event that is going to focus on the history that Cincinnati Bengals, so after the events ever with, they'll be a group of people that go in at three. Another people group people to go in at 3 30 that answer that ever is gonna do a self guided tour through the Hall of Fame. So Hall of Fame has been outstanding with us on this in gym. I've noticed through your social media post. It looks like for those interested. There is the opportunity for a discount on Hall of Fame tickets. Even if you're if you're going to make it a day and a night discount on hotels. Yes. So So the whole of Fame has been gracious. "Document provider of the Cincinnati Reds After finishing up last night suspended game earlier this afternoon. The Reds and Nationals wrap up their three game series tonight in Washington as Sonny Gray opposes Stephen Strasburg and thanks for joining us on the Cincinnati Reds pregame show. Presented by your Cincinnati northern Kentucky. Honda dealers. I'm Dave Armbrister. The Reds returned home to Great American Ballpark on Monday as they welcome the Phillies to town for three games. This is the Hall of Fame highlight with Reds historian Greg Roads, So you think there are too many walks today? Too many full counts? Well, imagine this. If you had been in a ballgame back in 18 87, you might have seen the cow go to three and two. But then 24 and three. Yep, That's because it took five balls for a walk and four strikes for a strikeout in that season. In the early days of baseball. The pitching rules changed, often as a rule makers tried to even out the balance between pitching and hitting at first pitching was underhand, but pitchers trying for the advantage wanted more power honor throws and their delivery began inching up higher and higher. And finally, the rules were changed to permit side arm deliveries and then pictures being pitchers. The arms went higher and higher, and it became impossible to distinguish between the legal side arm pitch and an illegal overhand delivery. Finally, the umpires gave up and the rules committee said Okay, you can pitch any way you want. Well, very quickly. Overhand pitching became dominant. But as it became more popular, it also became obvious that the old pitching distance of 50 Ft was now too close. And so the distance moved back to the modern distance of 60 ft six inches and they fiddle with the number of balls and strikes until it's settled in at the modern, four balls and three strikes. In 18 89. Lots of rule changes over the years and lots of changes that the Reds Hall.

"To R L C calm well, today, the Reds and the Brewers, for that matter, go for the Syrians win. It will be right hander Luis Castillo on the mound for the Reds right hander Freddie Peralta on the mound for the Brewers. Peralta a little bit better in 2021, what Castillo is for all his foreign one with a 2.40 e R. A Steal one in 67.44 to stay. Oh, just has not been able to find the rhythm at all this year. In fact, his last time out was Tuesday against the Giants, who support to loss for the Reds had dropped Castillo to one and six Castillo in that game went 56 hits, three earned runs struck out 11 walked three. That is his best strikeout to walk ratio so far in 2021, but his only win came all the way back Now. On April, the seventh In a blowout win against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The rest of the time. He has by and large struggled the rest of the time. He is by and large, not gotten out. Of inning number five today. They hope. Well, maybe the tide turns will see. Castillo seems to think he's been pitching better recently. Approved, there will be and what he does from here on out last night, the Reds and the Brewers played last night, the Brewers beat the Reds 43. The the game turned in the sixth inning, both for Sonny Gray and the Reds after the umpire Ron Culpa was injured on a hit by pitch. Things seemed to go South. It was a walk, and then Bradley reaches on an infield single. The first two runs score. And a 21 reds lead turns into a three to deficit. They wind up leading losing. I should say 42. So did Did David Bell leave Sonny Gray in too long last night? Well after the game, it seemed as though Bell was questioning his strategy there, and it seems as though Great talked him out of that early exit. And we know the fact is it? It did not work here's Bell after the game last night on whether he left gray in too long You know, at that point onto the there was a long delay. Um Look at that point. It was just asking a little bit too much. Even if Sonny Gray as much as we believe, and trust him at that point, I should have taken it out of his hands..

Antone brings heat in push for Cincinnati Reds' rotation
"Reds played tonight and three hours against the kansas city. Royals perhaps not with these same amount of excitement as the night before her. Green and nikola delo pitched tj anton in relief last night against the dodgers and again that ended with a four four tie. I will admit to you. I get the purpose behind the rule that a team on defense can roll the inning over and basically ended prematurely as a fan. That's not much fun. Tony larussa has said as much. Tony larussa and i are on the same page about anything. That's saying something but above and beyond the outcome of the game which obviously doesn't matter. Tj antone pitch last night and he was phenomenal two innings. His fastball was ninety. Seven ninety eight ninety nine killer slider filthy curve five strikeouts two innings gave up. Just a hit. This is a guy who was a bit of a revelation. Last year made his major league debut with the reds early in the season started. Four games came in and relief and nine others and did a really really nice job. Here's david bell on what he liked from. Tj last night looks very lockton. Yeah maybe could've been the best basketball. I've seen include. Let's santa law so good last year. But his fastball of really good is everyone which means it just locked in a totally kind of grown accustomed to tj being very focused and determined so even those beverly in the spring doesn't surprise me at perching david bell last night talking about t j anto. I don't wanna make too much out of one. Spring training outing the didn't count. There is a lot of foolishness and doing that. But he is a part of a mix of guys who will ultimately answer one of the critical questions about the reds this spring. Which is who's gonna make up the back into the rotation right and even if he doesn't end up as a starter he could be a valuable member of a bullpen. that said goodbye to two quality. Relievers this offseason and rice laziest and archie bradley. But what role will tj antone bien after a good two thousand twenty. Here he is and what role he would like to be. Yeah i wanna start but wherever those. Tv's all right. Good short concise. It's the right answer. You don't get the sense just listening to that that he's going to be upset if he's not a starting pitcher but that is what he's been for most of his professional career one hundred and eleven appearances in the minor leagues one hundred and nine as a starter with different levels of success. I don't think there was anything about just looking. At his minor league statistical profile that would have suggested that he would emerge last. Year is valuable arm but he was. Era to eighty again pitched started four games when needed member wade. Miley had to miss some time. Sonny gray mr starr disc- he came out of the bullpen. Nine times and did a nice job. He'd really did a nice job last year. So now the question is does he factor into the mix a little bit more in the race to be the last starter.

Reds, Pirates games postponed as Cincinnati player tests positive for COVID-19
"This is sports talk later for Lance Encounters for 700 wlw. By the way. Hope you had a great weekend. As of right now, we are expecting the Reds to take on the Kansas City Royals tomorrow night. In Kansas City. That'll be an 805 1st pitch. We go on the air, with the Arnell carriers inside pitch at 705 Luis Castillo is said to get the ball against Brad Keller. Trevor Bauer is now scheduled to pitch on Wednesday, followed up by Sonny Gray. In the first game of a four game series against the Cardinals in ST Louis on Thursday, this after the weekend that was lost after Friday night raids beat the Pittsburgh Pirates and then a couple of hours after the game. We find out that a player tested positive. For covert 19. Saturday's game postponed Sunday's game postponed Ah, couple of things worth pointing out here. Seafront Rosecrans, who, by the way, covers the Reds for the athletic And doesn't awesome job. I've tweeted out a link to a piece that I think will guide you through everything happening with this team right now. But since Saturday, every Reds player has tested at least three times. The players were tested. Saturday, Sunday morning and this morning. Pittsburgh Pirates. Players were also tested in Cincinnati before they flew to Pittsburgh last night. Um As of now. Based on reporting from a couple of it from people who are close to this. There's only been one positive test on the Reds, and it was the player who found out that he was testing positive work over 19 on Friday night. That player has since tested positive again. But as of now and again, there's the latest round of testing results that they have to get. No other Reds player has tested positive. The Reds have yet to fly to Kansas City. They are supposed to fly to Casey tomorrow if they're cleared to play. The player who tested positive would have to be placed on the injured list. Somebody's going to have to be brought up to take his place. The The Pirates will be here in mid September, September 14th to the 16th so there is ample time to make up. Two games They missed right now. The Reds have 40 games remaining. There are 41 days between now and September, the 27th which is the end of the regular season, and so obviously they're not playing today They're going to play 40 games and 40 days to get to 60. They already have a double header scheduled Against the Cubs next weekend. But there is not only a Pittsburgh trip to Cincinnati, but the Reds also going PNC Park and so you can make up one of the games there if you have to. But as of now, The plan is to play. Tomorrow night against the Royals. Again. All of this is very, very fluid. As we've seen with the Cardinals as we've seen with the Miami Marlins, the good news is again. After the one player tested positive with that result being released. On Friday. Reportedly. No other Reds player has subsequently tested positive and also know Pittsburgh Pirates player As of right now 6 26 on Monday night, no other Pirates player Has tested positive. So there you go, Uh 513749 7800 The big £1.700 free call AT and T. Jerry is calling from Claremont County. Hi, Jerry. Jerry. Hope something happens. Jerry. Your wine? Yeah, sure. Go. Oh, well. A little question here if one Holding him and nobody there. Miles is okay. But they prayed about because they have to get tests back from the other players to ensure that there not also testing positive. Woman get their pink. Ooh, they did that. And so there are awaiting the latest the Siri's of results and they hope to play tomorrow. The Pirates also hope to play tomorrow. Yeah, this time, noting the Reds go to Kansas City before they do that they need to get to clear And for that to happen, they want to ensure there is no other players testing positive. Your city's okay. Well, yeah. I mean, the players are routinely testing positive testing, which is why we found out that a player tested positive on Friday night. Yes. Okay. Okay. Is that all right with you? Yeah. No. There was just a bad weekend without baseball. Yeah, Wass, I I don't I can't disagree with that. Ana would do anything about it. I wanna thank you very much. Thank you. Ok, thanks. Have a good evening. You you you do the same. The Miami Marlins. You may recall after the first weekend of the year they were in Philadelphia, and then again, they had a game scheduled against the Phillies. And on Sunday morning. They found out that a number of players on that team had tested positive for Cove in 19 And instead of baseball, swooping in and stopping the Marlins from playing. Instead, the players were allowed to vote. Whether or not they play now, I'm not sure why that would ever be the case. But that's that was the plan. That was the plan baseball let the Miami Marlins players vote via text by the way. On whether or not they want to play. They did play the game that day in Philadelphia, and then As it turned out that they had close to 20 members of their traveling party. The majority were players, obviously not all of them. The majority of players that a bunch of guys in there traveling party test positive for cocaine, 19 And then it took them forever to get back on the field where baseball is trying to do. Is prevented outbreak now. It is worth wondering. This. Today is the 17th of August regular season baseball ends on September the 27th. Obviously, everybody has off days built in, so there's time if you've got to miss a couple of days. What I do kind of wonder, though. Well, I think baseball has done the right thing here and frankly, I think they did the right thing with the ST Louis Cardinals. October. When we have 16 teams in the playoffs. And we're trying to squeeze a lot of Siri's in a very tight window. And ensure that the season the post season is over before we really get to cold weather in November. What's gonna happen when we have a situation with the team in the playoffs like the one that popped up for the Reds on Friday night? Positive test and now we're not going to play for a couple of days. Not playing for a couple of days in the regular season is really not that big a deal. Not playing for a couple of days in the postseason. Could have a significant short and long term impact. More on that coming up in the seven o'clock hour at Mohagher, 15. 30 is by how you can hit me up on Twitter. One of the best players in college football is has started a petition. Winners and losers of the 2019 MLB trade deadline
"We'll talk a little bit more about what happened with the trade last night so I'm too teams in the Cincinnati Reds and the the New York Mets who are not really in contention in their respective divisions either the the Cincinnati Reds a little bit better off I think in terms of whether or not they think they can make a push towards the playoffs now they're in fourth place eight games out of their division with both the brewers and the cubs sitting right in front of them of course are in the center the got the cardinals up there as well so three teams between them in the top right he Pittsburgh Pirates who were team that was in the mix and Josh fell on an absolute tear at the beginning of the season I had I had sort of put them back into contention made them feel like a maybe the pirates were involved that was the one division baseball we looked up and down you said I don't know who's gonna win this thing clearly the cubs are a favorite we got five teams here could come out and do some damage you take a look at the the wild card standings now the Reds not looking so hot there six and a half games out but they do have one of the best rotations in all of baseball specifically in all of the National League now they could be doing something here and they've got this they've got this general manager Nick crawled not Nick Kroll not the comedian not that the dude from from the fantasy football shows that show called blanking on the name of that show it we came here if you can remember the name of that show that was a fun one the on assets was it was like the it might be just pop on Intel to me did the league the league dude phenomenal show the league I blanked on management off there for a couple years Nick Kroll of course rocks in on the league Nick Kroll the general manager of the Cincinnati Reds thank you and I'll be back bright arsenic crawl was promoted from the president of baseball lobster like the admin assistant to the general manager a couple years back for the ranch it ever since he's taking over as GM of the Reds he's been competitive and I think that's all you can ask for from a general manager number last offseason when nobody was making trades nobody was signing players and he was out here we want to do one for mac camp yes you'll pull weeds Alex would he was out here saying we're going to be a competitive team went out to get Sonny gray from the New York Yankees so this is a guy who's been aggressive now I'm liking that because two of the players that were traded in two of the top line pitchers in Marcus Stroman and then introvert our that were treated because they both have a year of team control beyond this year they've set themselves up now to try to be competitive this offseason and be competitive in the next year and the Reds well we've got a deficiency in offense they were not going to get anything for Yasiel per week he was a free agent the end of this year he was gonna leave more than likely again I'll see what I said when they traded for him yes simply doesn't scream Cincinnati to me he's not a guy why I look and I think man that died that day both with the Cincinnati Reds role about now barely like plan there any like fighting for because if you miss this last night we've got plenty of audio for you on the other side the Reds in the pirates got into a brawl and this was in a a match Muncie Madison Bumgarner I'm gonna bark at you is around the bases type stuff all this was an actual brawl and the the irony in all this is the brawl goes down like within two or three minutes of us finding out the yes yep week has been moved from the Cincinnati Reds to the Cleveland Indians after not familiar with what the trade is the went down Trevor Bauer of the Indians one of their front line starters how the Indians by the way also feel like air and they're right in the middle of their division known as well sit behind the the minister twins but Cleveland Indians right now are two games up in at number one wild card spot if you go when you look at the division they still got a chance to go and win their division three back to the Minnesota Twins so they traded one of their best pitcher Jim Trevor Bauer with again a year of team control beyond this season but they feel like they're getting Danny Salazar back they also feel like they're getting Corey Kluber back who have been throwing on the side cells are may be activated as early as later this week so Indians feel like they've got reinforcements they also filled two major holes to major deficiencies in their line up and that's that they went out they got friend know ray is from the the of the San Diego Padres to was rumors that poppers were looking to move either him or hunter Renfroe I think if you look around for was more of a a better corner outfielder and you've got a talent friend arrays who's really a designated hitter I so he's I mean he's got a slot right into a DH spot there in Cleveland and the Indians also make a cross state trade the three team deal that sends Yasiel Puig now are to the to the Cleveland Indians so it is I think I won this deal you get friend rants redid young power hitting designated hitter who you're gonna put your line it probably for the next decade or so you would hope you got pulley gal who's got playoff experience Tuesday he fighter who's the guy who gets under other teams getting he's been plants a pretty damn good baseball of late and you give up Trevor Bauer Trevor Bauer now goes to the Cincinnati Reds sort of a weird deal there the pod reason have given up login what login Allen was a back in young starter for them and they give up friend raises we mention the Cincinnati Reds though this is a peculiar one they give up their number one prospect in their organization now he had a down season is in Taylor Trammell but they do believe this guy projects to be a major leader in the next couple years I don't think he's played beyond double eight people on the tax line already I too and I'd say in my head hurt trying to figure out what the hell the potters are thinking with that trade I'll tell you what I think the Padres are thinking with that trade I think the thinking they're not done they know was sent to guard this offseason may still be a trade piece that the that the New York Mets are looking to move maybe they'll be looking to move Marcus Stroman there will be moves made this offseason but now the Padres which are already pretty stacked minor league system have set themselves up to go out making other moves and out and bring some pieces in that will help them be a competitive team I'm all about teams were not totally in the mix yet who are not totally competitive yet setting themselves up for future seasons and I think that's what we're seeing with the Padres a little bit more clearly than what we see with both the Reds and the Mets the Reds and the Mets in acquiring the two front line starters that were available that we knew were available have kind of thrown this whole buyer seller thing

"Scoreboard already done today. The rivalry cubs. And cardinals the cubs win. This one Kyle Hendricks goes and shutout. The cardinals for zip later on twins at Yankees raise at Orioles. The nationals in Phillies in Phillies, of course, Bryce Harper against his former team roles in Detroit to take on the Tigers Mariners go east to take on the Indians in Cleveland. The Braves are in Florida take on the Marlins. The Blue Jays in Texas to take on the Rangers range the Red Sox and White Sox from Chicago Mets and brewers in Milwaukee. And a couple of games in the NFL west Diamondbacks and Rockies in Colorado and the dodgers and the Padres. So that's what the school board looks like tonight. And again Tyler Beatty will make two thousand nineteen debut after fine one point nine nine era in Sacramento as far as the lineup is concerned tonight for the giants against the Cincinnati Reds. Former? And Yankee Sonny gray will go to the mount he's only four but not bad three point six four era. He's had some bad luck against Beatty. Joe panics gonna lead off and play. Second base mentioned my Gerber. He's going to be in left field. Again. If you missed it Gerber three fifty seven batting average and one five seven Opie s so he's been good. He's in the two holes. The giants continue to look for offense. Buster Posey's been hot hits well in that Parkinson's Inada he's in the three hole. Brandon belt's gonna play first base hitting four. Evan longoria. Play third base. He's hitting in the five whole Brennan Crawford. Still trying to snap out of that slump easing six and obviously playing short Kim implores hitting seven and he's in center field. Steven Duggar in right? He's banning eighth. And again Tyler Beatty to the mound batting night as the giants. Take off against

Joey Votto, Padres And Sonny Gray discussed on Ken Broo
"Hour reds last night. What on the road played the Padres and lost sixty to pay no attention to preseason exhibition. Baseball a final scores. They mean little here's what I I watched this game last night. I was flipping around. I was watching this watch little Murray state game last night. Joey Votto gotta hit last night. But you could tell bottles not statistically having a great spring. But you can tell by looking at what he's doing that Bado is playing with things he's playing with his worry. How he grips the bat. He's play with his swaying. He's playing with his time between pitches. He's I never really worry about Joey Votto in the spring. I know we got off to that clunker a start a couple of years ago. But I know what he's doing. He knows what he's doing more important. The other thing that struck me about that game last night Sonny gray Saudi great two innings to hits strikes out three. No walks burst outing of the spring. You could not ask for anything better from Sonny gray goes to goes to which means next outing. You hope he goes three which means next outing. You hope he goes four, which means you hope he's ready by opening day thought he play pitched well Amir Garrett threw the ball. Well, now Garrett was a little little wild with someone who's pitches or a couple that were up one of the dirt. But he throws an inning of scoreless. Hitless baseball thought he threw the ball very well and even for his rough spring as he's had Cody read through well last night in any two strikeouts. No walks by far his best outing of the spring. So even though the final score read six to the guys that most probably will be in the mix for a spot. On the twenty five man roster. I thought acquitted themselves well from pitching standpoint and Matt Kemp Matt camp. This is a guy I continue to sail be shocked if he's on the opening day roster. But danged if he doesn't have another to hit game he ever effortless. Swing on a double but easily beat out the beat the throw in the second base to for three for Matt Kemp last night guy sitting three thirty eight on the spring. So honestly, not bad not bad
